STARGAZER: First Ground - 07
#12 of STARGAZER
Darison's Sunday passed without any more problems, he just had some fun with his mates and pets, and Alkemith, before returning to his room by nighttime. Swampwalker had the dinner ready by the time they returned and, as Darison has got used to, they all shared the same bed that night.
Next days events started, as Darison made clear last day, with a breakfast and getting ready for another fight. He choose to fight on the same arena on which he had met Garya the day before. Arinya grinned when heard about the choice, but not her and neither Darison gave a hint about why. He was quickly there, followed by Listaria and Hengeor that day.
"So, Darison... You want some time alone with your new protectors?" Hengeor asked.
"I was thinking to have this afternoon to enjoy some time with them alone." Darison grinned. "Midjany and Refia... You had chatted with them already, don't you Hengeor?"
"Yeah... the Yuraki is somewhat shy but is very smart and a very good doctor by what I've heard. The Ligrat, though, seemed to be a bit more possessive around her space and even more about her background... so I haven't got as much as an impression from her..."
"She's tough..." Listaria commented. "Alkemith said that she can be very protective with those she cares but could bit your arm off if you let her angry."
"Well... seems like I will have another fight this afternoon." Darison grinned. His followers laughed at that and they saw the arena's gate.
"Time for the show. Earn us some more points, okay?" Listaria gave him a quick kiss.
Darison nodded and entered the arena with a grin. He quickly got his sword and shield combination. Besides he could choose his weapons, he never changed that combination, since that was what he was best with. Then he looked at his opponent. A Cerulean, he recognized. Darison had to grin. In so little time, those Ceruleans had really decided to pop up in front of him.
The Cerulean got no weapon at all, just closed his weapon case. Darison, at first surprised, made to return his weapons, but the Cerulean, a male this time which the skin was a bit more greenish than the others he had saw, spoke.
"Better you not, Human."
"So why don't you get yours?" Darison asked.
"Because I don't need." the conviction he had on his voice made Darison wonder why he was so sure of that. "I will attack to kill you, so you better do the same with me."
"That's fine. Let's begin?"
"Whenever you're ready." was the reply the Human received.
Darison, trying to figure out what that Cerulean was up to, shoot with his buster blade, aiming straight for the head. Then the human got surprised by the energy shot hitting something before his opponent's skin. Then, the Cerulean got off the ground, levitating a few centimeters, and dashed towards Darison.
"TELEKINESIS!" Listaria yelled from behind the bars that were the gates for the arena.
Darison quickly moved to avoid interception and at same time keep some distance from that dangerous opponent. That's why he doesn't need a weapon: his mind was a very powerful one already. And one that is invisible and nobody could block.
"That will surely ruin my day..." Darison commented.
"Whenever you point your weapon at me, I will raise a barrier to block me." The Cerulean said. "And you will not get anywhere near me without me finding out. So I can tell you that my range is only about two meters."
"Why are you telling me this?" Darison said.
"It's just fair. You show me your weapon and I know your range. Also you show me your shield. It's just fair that you also know how long 'my weapon' is and how far I can position my shield."
"Well... If you say so..." Darison said and stepped back. "Two meters... that's quite a range. My arm and sword isn't that ranged and I will never get a 'clear vision' to shot... Wait! That's it!" Darison grinned. "Ready to be shot in the face?"
"I doubt you can do that." The Cerulean got ready. Darison then noticed the purple stripe on his head tail starting to shine.
Darison grinned and slashed with the buster blade, shooting at the right time. First time that he had done that, so he never knew that doing so he could actually throw a green energy slash. The Cerulean, though, quickly raised his shield and blocked the attack.
The Human had other plans, though, shooting again at the position which his sword was pointing now: straight to the ground. His opponent preferred to avoid, floating back, instead of blocking that attack. The hit on the ground, due to the power of the buster blade made quite an amount of dust fly. Darison now lacked the aim: he would have to shot just at his calculations about where his opponent's head was. He pointed and shot. The greenish shot disappeared through the layer of dust and the next thing that Darison heard was the sound of something hitting the ground.
Still on the defensive, Darison woke around the dust to see the Cerulean fallen on the ground. Not taking any chances, he shot to barely miss his opponent, and as it failed to raise the shield, he thought it was the end of battle. As he approached to confirm, though, he stopped exactly at the two meters range just in time to see a layer of dust rising in front of him. Instinctively, his shield was put in front of him and he was then flying through the arena. The strength of the impact drained all the shield's strength and he hit the ground so strong that he passed out.
When he finally got up, Darison found himself on the bed of his room with Midjany at his side. She had done what she could to help him and now was ministering some medicament. "Are you alright?" She asked without even looking at his face.
"How... You know you were being watched?"
"My species has, occasionally, some kind of psychic talents. I happen to have an extra-sensorial perception..." Midjany commented and, after she finished, she looked at him. "And you? How you managed to block a psychic attack?"
"My shield..."
"Your shield turned into an amount of twisted metal." She answered. "Your arm would have been in no better shape, but it is still in there."
"It projects a force field..."
"Telekinesis can pass all force shields projected by defensive devices usually offered by STARGA." Midjany answered.
"I just..." Darison then remembered what the owner of the shop for mothers had said him before. "I just believed that my shield could protect me... even if it fell apart..."
"Just believed? Now you're being silly..."
"Maybe. Well... Do you know any way to break through mental talents?"
"I guess there's no other way without having any talent yourself."
"So it's fighting to find out if I can manage something..." Darison commented. "How is my arm?"
"Pretty well. It shouldn't even be connected to your body, but it's still functioning. Are you filling any pain?"
"No... Nothing." Then she touched Darison's arm and repeated the question, just to receive the same answer.
"Whatever you did, protected you very well..."
"Better that than having my arm took away." Darison then moved his arm.
"I think so as well." Then the Yuraki really looked all Darison's body and the Human could see that she was embarrassed now.
"So you are really shy, aren't you?" Darison commented.
After that, Midjany just turned her head away, even more embarrassed. "I..."
"Shhh... There's nothing wrong on being shy, okay? Just relax." Darison caressed her hair. "Remember that we will live quite some time together now. And around there, it has being a tendency that I mate with my protectors."
"I... I don't think that this is a good idea..."
He then noticed her tail twitching. Not knowing if that was for embarrassment or any other thing, the Human just decided to play careful. "Last night I spend with Alkemith, you caught us in middle of something..."
Her head and ears downed, as her tail curled around itself. "I... I didn't..."
"No... I wanted..." Darison caressed her back. "You were just to shy to accept the invitation..." Her tail was then released and began twitching again. That must be happiness, he assumed. "Right now, though, there's no one here. So, would you like to join me in bed?"
Midjany looked at Darison's face, still embarrassed, ears down, but nodded slightly. He just grinned and caressed her face, slowly laying her on the bed and getting over the Yuraki. At the feeling of her soft skin, Darison already got somewhat aroused, so he quickly undressed, also taking whatever useless clothing the Yuraki also wore. "She's shy. That's the reason why she wears clothes. But these gorgeous breasts and that big butt she has make it rather hard to hide, I guess..." Darison thought with a grin and gently squeezed her breasts against each other. He downed his head and suckled on one of her pinky long nipples, so different from all his other partners, and got rather surprised when he felt sweet and warm milk flowing to his mouth.
The Human gently suckled that nipple as well as having his own shaft touching her fem sex and slowly piercing her. Midjany groaned in pleasure just with the suckling and all but melted when she felt his rock hard cock getting inside of her slowly.
Carefully to not squeeze too much and making a mess on the room, Darison gently caressed and touched the breast he was not suckling on, taking the cowgirl to the heights of pleasure just too soon. She left out a longer groan of pleasure, squeezing strongly his shaft inside her tight and warm pussy while covering it on her sweet love juice.
Darison stopped and grinned. "Already?"
"No-nobody ever did that to me... I-I was caught... of guard..." She was indeed very shy "But please... don't stop for me... You can cum on me too..."
"Better not..." Darison grinned. "At least not inside your pussy. Unless you want to be pregnant..."
Something on the Yuraki's mind clicked and she got puzzled. "Are humans compatible with aliens?"
"I am. I'm an exception." Darison grinned. "Arinya, the Dragoen, Swampwalker, the felitaur, Listaria, the Miratian and Krianyra, the Mercurian already are pregnant... all of them from me..."
"Re-really?"
"Yes."
"Well... better not then... I don't want t-to be mother as yet..." she said "But... How do... How do you pretend to finish?"
"We have three options..." Darison slowly slid his cock off her. "You can suck my cock, I can fuck your ass or we can try some action with these..." he said caressing both her breasts "This last will get you rather messy..."
"I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with any of those..."
"So just pick one." Darison grinned. "I promise to try making it a good time for you."
"Sorry, but I guess that will have to wait..." Darison heard Krianyra's voice. Midjany, as expected, quickly turned red in embarrassment.
Darison got up, caressed the Yukari's head and grinned. "Sorry for that. Kria, what's up?"
"We received a call from your secret admirer." Krianyra answered.
"You mean Annabel?"
"Right."
Darison then was quickly in front of the screen and saw the shadow of the one whom helped him once. "Annabel..."
"Hello, Darison." Annabel called back. "Finally you've lost a fight, right?"
"Geez... I think you can't win always, can you?"
"That's true. But you're still very impressive."
"First, thanks for your gift. It was very handful." Darison grinned. "And may I know why you called?"
Annabel laughed at that. "Not so surprising that you're suspicious. I guess it's just a normal trait when you don't know who you're talking to."
"You're evading the question."
"Straight to the point. I like that in you." Annabel grinned. "Well... After seeing you lose I lost some of my faith in you. I must confirm that I can trust your strength, so I'm scheduling a fight for a friend of mine that is a fighter on the 1-G. He will enter the arena seven at this Saturday at 18:30."
"Why should I fight him?"
"It's your choice, little guy. Just remember that my friends tend to get some very good rewards, even if they don't consider me a friend."
Then another shadow appeared. It was a massive tall creature, which a mane-like hair. Darison quickly suspected that he was a Miratian. It whispered something to Annabel and she quickly returned her attention to the screen.
"Sadly our time has come to an end." Annabel said. "As much as you, I also have my fights to take care of and I can't get late. Bye, Darison. See you soon."
"WAIT!" Darison yelled, but the connection was cut.
"At least we know she's a fighter now." Listaria commented.
"Who was that?" Refia asked. She and Midjany had never heard about Annabel, so they thought they had the right.
"She's the one which gave me the Dragoen." Darison answered. "She also sent a surgery suggestion that would 'fulfill the dreams of some of my protectors'. Well... Now I think I overdid it a little."
"So she's your friend?" Midjany asked.
"Better we say acquaintance." Hengeor commented. "I don't think that we could trust her as yet."
"You should." Refia said looking serious to monitor. She then got the commands and replayed the message. "Look there..." She then pointed at the second shadow that entered the screen. Something shone through the shadow in a fraction of second, which nobody had noticed before. A silvery shine.
"What is that?" Swampwalker asked.
"Let me put some more contrast and reduce a bit the brightness. That could help you to see right." The tigress then put words into action and Darison made up the form of a badge: STARGA badge. That protector worked for STARGAZER.
"What does that mean?" Listaria asked.
"That whoever she is, she is from the 6-G up." Midjany answered. "Only from there you can hire STARGA professional to be your protectors.
"But that protector has a silver badge. That means he or she cost quite a sum of credits. They are the fourth best on all STARGAZER and the best ones you can hire for personal purpose." Refia commented. "She must be on 9-G."
"A fighter from the 9-G?" Hengeor asked. "Why would she be interested in us?"
"I don't know." Midjany said sincerely. "Besides we know a few more rules about STARGAZER than you, we don't know anything."
"That's another question." Swampwalker made hirself be heard. "How do you know that much?"
"Asking professionals of STARGAZER, of course." Refia answered.
"And where do we find them?" Krianyra asked.
"On the Sunday." Midjany said. "Every single entertainment complex you saw on the Sunday is put up by a member of the STARGAZER. They don't wear uniforms, but they are all around."
Then Darison's eyes widened. "In all entertainment complex? I mean, there is any which is set by another fighter which wants to earn some more credits?"
"No." Refia answered. "All kinds of entertainment are put up by STARGAZER's personal."
"So we will have to wait until our next Sunday to find out something that could bring a bit light to our problem." Listaria said.
"Leave that to me." Darison said confident. "I have a couple of friends which I happened to bump into last time."
"I guess that all of us have, Darison." Listaria said. "Remember that we got separated, right?"
"Believe me... If I don't find anything on the next, I can find on the following one." Darison grinned. "If I get a bit lucky, of course."
"And I don't suppose you're going to tell us, are you?" Refia asked.
"Not right now." Darison grinned. "Anyway... It's only me or there is someone else hungry?"
"How can you think in food in a time like this?" Refia asked.
"I am!" Erezor was the first to answer followed quickly by his sister "Me too!"
Swampwalker grinned. "I'm waiting triplets. I guess I'm a bit more hungry than usual..."
"Come on! You're not that pregnant yet!" Listaria giggled. "But I worked some appetite too!"
"Are you serious?" Midjany asked with the same concern as Refia.
"Better you learn that for us, something is only truly important if it affects the family." Hengeor commented. "And before you ask, we all are a family. Well... The pets are the pets, but all the protectors are mated to Darison."
"Almost all, you wanted to say." Refia commented.
"She is right." Krianyra grinned. "They are not Darison's mates yet."
"And neither is he!" Midjany said pointing Hengeor. "I saw Darison with Alkemith... There's no way that he is..."
"Bisexual?" Swampwalker giggled. "Or that just never crossed your mind?"
"I take the dinner!" said Arinya with a grin.
"You are a strange group..." Refia said, sitting at the table to eat.
"And we're stronger for that." Listara sat at the Ligrat's side. "Besides your people are a bit more violent and loner than mine, I believe you have quite the same needs. Trust me when I say that Darison can fulfill each of your needs if you only learn to ask him."
"As you said, I'm a loner..."
"Hmmm... Do you think that three hours will do?" Swampwalker asked the Mercurian with a grin.
"No... Two hours maximum!" Krianyra giggled. "And will still have time to spare for us."
"Now now... we can't just force her into something she doesn't want." Listaria grinned.
"Actually... not only could us, as we should..." Hengeor commented. Listaria then got puzzled. "Ligrat's costumes differs from ours just because they don't kill the partner. So we can pretty much say that we are alike."
"In some ways..." Refia agreed, not liking too much on what that was guiding her.
"So, mating is arranged." Hengeor grinned. "Ligrats don't 'fall in love' before mating. Each pair of parents would catch their children that are going to mate and literally throw them into a common room."
"At least they try..." Refia said. "Some of the family can lose an arm in the process..."
"A selvage world, isn't it?" Swampwalker commented.
"Some can say that." Refia commented. "But we only grew stronger by doing this. Only the strong survives long enough to contribute to the world."
"I for one am adept of a good fight." Krianyra grinned.
"However, your mate here is also our fighter... we shouldn't be risking that, should we?" Midjany asked somewhat concerned.
"Don't worry. He's pretty tough." Listaria commented. "And he said that he wouldn't mind in joining some cultures..."
"So... are you going to try?" Refia entered in a defensive position.
Listaria grinned. She then began to whisper with all others, one by one. Swampwalker e Krianyra left the cabin, as the others filled up all other rooms in the cabin.
"What is she planning?" Refia looked around without understanding at all. Only she and Darison stood there on the cabin, though.
Darison's eyes quickly widened, as he began to laugh. "Look around... all rooms are occupied and the only exit has two SP behind it... they trapped us here!"
Refia looked around. "No way... she had us in a room without throwing us in one? She's cleaver..."
"More than you think, actually." Darison grinned. "So... explain me better how this work out for you."
"Well... it's simple enough. As I don't want to mate a human, if you approach me I will attack. Then, if you can get to me alive and make me yours, I will need to learn living with you."
"Hmmm..." Darison then not even approached her, got to the screen and began looking for its functions. "Does this thing have any movies?"
"What?" Refia then eased a little "Aren't you going to try me?"
"Well... There was an old saying in a region of my world. If one doesn't want, two don't fight over it..." Darison grinned. "If you don't want to mate a human, I will help you get out of here as soon as possible and then you can look for whatever you want as a mate... or... look for yours actually?"
That got Refia by surprise. "How do you know?"
"I don't... just guessed." Darison grinned. "The way you are ready to fight for the maximum of your strength... I will make another guess. Unless the male is totally against what you want, you never fight with all your strength. After all, you only want a mate that can prove that he is worth, but you still want a mate, right?"
Refia's eyes widened. "That... That is a suggestion passed from mothers to their daughters... How could a male guess it?"
"On my world, besides some times there are marriages forced by business, most people only 'mate' with one which wants them as much. That's what we call love."
One of Refia's eyebrows rose. "Consensual mateship has proven to be the worse kind of relationship ever..."
"It works for us around there, though." Darison grinned. "It's not a perfect system, we have some problems along the way, but it works out just fine." Darison kept there, trying to locate any movies for them to watch. "Damn... I guess I will buy some next Sunday so we can have an alternative entertainment..."
"You gotta be kidding me!" Refia said.
"Why do you think so?" Darison turned to her, sitting on the sofa.
"You... You can't be serious! There's no way that all these females around there wanting to be mated with you!"
"There are only two females. Swampwalker is hermaphrodite and Hengeor is a male." Darison said.
"Doesn't matter!" Refia almost shouted at him. "You are just a human! They would never buy you! The females and the herm will want to have children some day! How can you work that out?"
Darison grinned. "Impregnating them, of course."
"And if they don't want artificial impregnation?"
"And who said about artificial?" Darison chuckled at the puzzled face of Refia. "Come on... Next try..."
"You will pay some one to impregnate them?" Refia asked a bit more puzzled now.
"Wrong. Last try?"
"You... You..." Refia tried for a response that wasn't there until she decided to play what he wouldn't do. "Okay... not by artificial impregnating nor pay someone... You can't breed them either... Are you going to allow them to decide for a mate?"
Darison grinned. "Impressive!" Refia got an immense smile on her face then. "You managed to make two mistakes in a single phrase... I never managed to see that happening before..."
The Ligrat's face showed her astonishment unmasked. She has only retold the answers she was receiving and only made two statements: the question itself and... Then realization hit her. "Can you impregnate them?"
Darison nodded. "I can and I have. Swampwalker waits triplets and Listaria is also going to be mother. Krianyra haven't given me an answer as yet, but I do believe she have." Darison grinned. "Oh... I almost forgot... Arinya is also pregnant..."
"All of them... by you... This is ridiculous! How are you going to cope with six so different children? How will you explain that their sire has only two legs and no fur but on its head?"
"Father, please..." Darison corrected. "I know there's just little difference between sire and father, but I do prefer the last..."
"Whatever! They will never buy it!"
"And what if they grow at the idea that this crazy family is the norm?" Darison had a grin that surprised Refia. "I for one don't pretend to break this family. By the time I get to the last floor, I will have saved enough credits to buy a ship from Starga big enough for a growing family, also implying that I will allow whatever mates you decide to take with us as well."
"Will you... live among the stars?"
"Home is where heart is." Darison said looking at the ceiling but not quite seeing it. "I may return to 'home' back on my planet... I could take my old life back... I'm only here in Stargazer by a few days... But for me it's like I've been there for months already..."
Refia then noticed that her own heart missed a beat. Something clicked inside her and it frightened her that she didn't knew what it was. Darison looked at her and then he saw her tail gently getting behind her legs.
"What's troubling you, kitten?"
"What?!?" She asked, not wanting to assume she was rather afraid for the first time in her life.
"Your tail..." Darison commented "I only saw felines at all getting their tails between their legs when they are sleeping or when they are afraid..."
Gotten by surprise, Refia quickly raised her tail. "So... You're quite a observer..."
"Helps keep you alive in middle of a fight." Darison grinned.
"I still don't think you're all that much... Of course, you're quite perceptive of what's around you an can think fast and precisely on little time... But I also never saw you getting any real show until now..."
He glanced at her, a defiant grin on his mouth, as he teased "Wanna see for yourself what I can do to my enemies?"
Refia got herself smiling and getting on a defensive position. "Show me what you've got!"
Darison quickly got up and turned to face Refia. The tigress decided the best defense is a strong offense and darted against the Human. Darison, half expecting that, waited patiently before all but jumping against her, connecting his shoulder on her ribcage not so strong as to hurt her, but enough to take her off balance and quickly getting her pinned down on the hard floor with one of his feet at her belly.
"Wanna get up and try again?" Darison grinned, took his feet and offered a hand for her to get up.
The next half hour passed as they sparred and shared combat knowledge with each other. The Ligrat quickly learned as to not underestimate the Human and they were pretty even off in the fights. Time came that they eventually had to stop and hit the shower since the meal would soon be prepared for them.
"I can't believe you are that skilled..." Refia said stripping herself not minding his presence on the bathroom at all.
"But fighting you is not fair. Your body distracts me..."
"That's your 'distracted fighting'?" Then she got really surprised "No way... I could hardly hit you and you claim to be distracted?"
Darison just grinned. "I learned some self control. However, certain things can indulge me beyond my grasp to control me."
"How's that?"
"Do you know why we seek our mates back at my home planet?" At Refia's head shake, Darison continued. "So we can find someone to fulfill whatever is missing in us. Look around. If you just get to know enough of the others, you'll see that Krianyra is what I lack in strength, Listaria is the brains behind this mad house, Swampwalker acts as a very good indicator of my house's happiness and general mood, and Hengeor honors me for the courage that I seem to lack on dealing with the family."
"And the pets?"
"But for Arinya that seems to balance my normally dominant nature, they're just friends. Very good friends that I can occasionally offers a good night of sex."
"If I was to be your mate, what would I be filling then?"
"You?" Darison thought for some time, not quite expecting the question. "Probably my lack of will power to resist temptation and just wait for whomever is waiting for me..."
"Will, huh? I don't think I could go for that... I'm actually running from my marriage... After almost tearing off my sire's arm with a good placed bite, I had to kick my mother squarely in her face and pin my brother down for him to know he was defeated before just running away from home..." Darison waited patiently as she seemed to gather courage to continue. While so, Darison had the bathtub filled with water gently warmed for them before taking her inside. "I didn't feel ready as yet to be married. But as I told, marriages often are business related... I still lack the courage to face my parents after running away..."
"But you never give up trying, have you?"
She shook her head negatively.
"Stick for us, kitten, and maybe we can lend you a little courage for your confrontation." Darison said, grinning "And try to smile, okay? As soon as we get out of here, I plan using whatever credits I happen to accumulate there to take all you home. If you're going to stay home or with me is your choice. I won't keep anyone with me against their will."
And then, the duo bathed together. Nothing more happened, just a comfortable warm bath. But by the end, Refia was confidently resting on Darison's arms.
