Ellen Chapter 4: A Confession "Wow! This place is huge!" A certain wolfess yelled as she looked around the room. "yeah..." A human boy replied. Ellen and Jake were standing in their new dorm room, looking around the place. Ellen had a more womanly figure and a feminine voice. Jake had a taller stance and a deeper voice as well. Right now, they were in their dorm room in their college, Hanford University. Jake and Ellen had (luckily) both gotten accepted. Over the past 4 years, the laws on Hybrids had changed immensly. Now they could own land, go to school, marry, and basically have all the laws of a human. Once they were 18, they were legally people and businesses had to accept them. Companion buildings were now orphanages, but the Hybrids still cost money. The building they were in was luckily Co-Ed... or as far as anyone else knew. In reality they were going to be in seperate rooms, but Ellen started freaking out and they allowed her to be his roommate. "This is going to be GREAT! This is going be a new start!" Ellen yelled "How? We've lived in the same room for eight years." "Ya, but now we're in college! We can have parties and drink and-" "Drink?" "Ya! ya know... like booze..." Ellen said shyly "Ellen... We're 18! we can't drink for 3 years." "What? But we're adults!" She yelled in a childish voice "Yes but the legal drinking age is 21!" Her ears dropped and she looked at the floor. Feeling bad, he tried to cheer her up. "But we can still party though..." He said as she gave a 'yay'. After they finished packing, they went around the building to meet people. Most people were just getting here or were setting up, so they decided to head for the cafeteria to grab some lunch. The room was large with about a hundred tables and two stations for food. The two grabbed some food: a couple slices of pizza per each. They sat down at a table and started chatting. "So, this place is nice, eh?" Jake asked "Ya, i'm glad no one's tripped me yet." Ellen and Jake gave a little laugh at that "Hey... Hey uh..." A voice called out behind them. Turning around, they saw a pale boy, shaking. "Hi" Ellen said to the boy, hoping to calm him down "Hey... it's just... Wow... I've never seen... a fur before..." He said, gawking at her. "Don't call my friend a fur, buddy." Jake said The boy jumped a little, thinking Jake would tackle him. He began to apologize "I'm so sorry! I'm Andrew, by the way." He two then shook hands "Jake. And this lovely wolfess is Ellen" He said as Ellen gave a blush. After the two met Andrew, they headed back to their room. Andrew had told them about a party tonight and they were going to go get ready. Neither of them had been to any parties during their childhood, although they did go to a few birthday parties. "This is so EXCITING!" Ellen said as she started getting ready. She was practically running around the. She bolted from the closet to the boxes to the bathroom until she stopped for a second. "What're you wearing?" "Uh.. this?" Jake said, pointing to the clothes he had on, shorts and a pokemon t-shirt "Jake... come here." "What?' "You are NOT wearing that." "Why?" "Because this is a P-A-R-T-Y, not a... World of Warcraft lan party. Come here..." She said as she lead him towards his boxes, going through each item. Eventually she found a nice black jacket, a plaid shirt, and some a pair of jeans. "You look GREAT!" Ellen said as she gave him a hug. She had a a black blouse and a dark blue miniskirt, and had a brown bookbag filled with her stuff, something she used as a purse. Jake offered to pay for an actual purse, but Ellen liked the one she had. "Thanks, you look really nice too" Jake said as Ellen blushed, before heading out, Jake held out his arm "My lady?" She took his little offer "My lord." She said with a large smile as the two walked out, hand in hand.
Right now, Jake was sipping some soda out of a red plastic cup whilst leaning against a support beam. Ellen had gone off to the bathroom. Simple enough, if it weren't for the fact that it'd been 20 minutes. He was a bit worried, but didn't want to go into the bathroom and be labeled a pervert, and so far he had no female friends here besides Ellen so he couldn't check on her. He was a minute away before checking in it. What if someone called her a freak? Or hurt her? Or... "Hellllo" A voice said. Looking towards it he found something he didn't like that much. Ellen was standing there, barely able to keep still "Ellen..." Jake said as he sniffed the air and found a familiar smell: Alcohol. "Ellen" He yelled, pulling her to a deserted corner of the room. "Ellen... have you been drinking?" "Uh huh!" She yelled as she also started nodding fastly. "ELLEN! You're 18! You're under aged!" "Oh come'on, don't be such a BUZZKILL" she said with a laugh "I just wanted to be like a normal college student." "Ellen, how much have you had to drink..." She began to think before holding up 4 fingers... then she held up 3.... she didn't know, she just knew it was good and she wanted more "Come on, we're going home." He helped her back to their room, she swaying a bit and using his shoulder as support. To get her back, he promised more beer. He went inside and put her things on the kitchen counter. He helped her to her bathroom (She said she 'REALLY had to pee'). He sat her on the next to him and she started more conversation. "You're... You're really great, Jake..." She said as she gave a goofy smile he gave a small shake of the head and a laugh. "No Jake, i really mean it... you're the greatest..." Soon the wolfess moved more towards him and... kissed him. She usually would've waited for him to make the first move, but due to her impatience (and 4 beers) had made her choice for her. Jake was... surprised of course. His best friend loved him!?!? I guess this made sense... I mean, she turned Shawn down, she's never dated, she barely left his side. He just felt stupid that he'd never seen any of her passes before. But was this 'love'? Or was this just the alcohol. Furthermore, did HE love HER? In their 8 years together, they were barely apart, they never ran out of topics to talk about, they were always laughing and having fun together. Soon they broke apart and the two were looking into each other's eyes... until Ellen fell asleep. "Ellen..." he said before noticing she fell asleep. "Goodnight, dear." He said as he layed her down and headed back to his room
Ugh... What happened... Ellen began to stir from her soundful sleep, her head in a haze and her throat dry. She began to think back to the night's previous events: Okay, so she went to the party with Jake... then she told him a lie to get some booze... then she drank... 4, 5 beers maybe? Then... he took her back and she fell asleep. In her dreams, she confesed to Jake. It was weird... but really... nice. "Hey sleepy head." She heard Jake said as he entered the room with a tray of orange juice, toast and cereal. He slammed the door behind him "AHH! Not so loud!" She yelled, covering her ears to try to stop the splitting headache "Sorry... I guess you are a bit hungover from last night..." "What happened last night." "Well... first you got plastered, then i took you back to our room... Then... you... confessedyourloveforme..." he said looking away "I... I said that i love you?" "Yes... but i have one question... do you?" Did she just hear a question as stupid as that? Did she love him? Of course she did! "I.. do.. I love you. I love your smile. I love your kindness. I love how when i'm down you just hold me and tell me everything will be alright. I love how you take care of me. I love how you fight for me. I love your open-mindedness. I love literally EVERYTHING about you, flaws and all. I love... you." After Ellen finished her speech, Jake began his. "I... I love you too, Ellen. I love your toothy smile. I love your shyness. I love your soft fur. I love how you make me feel... good. I love your crystal blue eyes. I love your... little quirks. How you sneeze with your whole body, how you always switch subject in a conversation, how you're bad at hiding your feelings. I just... I love you too. You're flaws aren't flaws, their gifts. Their things that make you, I love you." They then kissed passionately, one thing went to another and they did their 'business' thankfully he didn't shoot his soldiers into the battlefield so there was no fear of pregnancy. Hybrids could get pregnant, but it wasn't known if humans could do so. If there really were any Human-Hybrid children, they were most likely in a government science building. Still, they had taken each other's viginities and fell asleep in each other's arms, they two newly in love
