Does that come with a Receipt?

Yes I know i said I was going to post a Return of the Lycans story next but this just sort of happened. X3 This is the next part of "the Pedigree test" I posted a little while ago. (found here http://www.sofurry.com/view/546009) I thought about calling the place slaveway if anyone gets the reference but decided that it was in too much bad taste even though I hate the real place -.- Also! When I mention the "western accent" in th at world it's the equivalent of a British accent, I didn't want to call it a British accent because this is a completely different world.

Ah well, anyway...enjoy

I did not know what to expect when it came to the sales floor opining. Would it be like a market? Or just like a store where you would pick something and then take it to the register to buy. Of course it would be pretty difficult to put an entire wolf like myself onto a conveyor belt. Elise taped up another sign next to my head before she chuckled and walked away, her tail lightly bouncing just inches from the floor. My eyes strained to see what the sign read, all I could make out were bright colors and the letter "N" in big bold print. My brain added the rest of the letters by itself, no doubt it said "new."

I tested my restraints, gently tugging at them to gauge just how strong they were, yup, there was no way I was getting out. All they did was jingle slightly and prove just how bad the incarceration was. Across from my stall was a blue jay from the look of it, her wings were spread out to show their beauty and deep colors but her black beak was held down low in shame. Beside her head was another brightly colored sign that read "SALE!" with a number listed below but it was too far for me to read. Other then the wings she was in the same exact position.

"To all executive buyers, the floor is now open for your privileged buying rights. You may enter the floor at this time." The loudspeaker rang out over the warehouse and the sounds of doors opining and voices filled the empty air. My heart pounded out of my chest and my breathing shortened. Furs were coming now! The sales floor was open and any minute now potential owners would be browsing the "wears". Elise walked back up the aisle looking in each of the stalls and nodding making sure each one was perfect, she smiled a wicked foxy like smile at me and winked. This was it.

The first buyer that walked down the aisle didn't even glance in my direction he was too busy reading a flier that no doubt contained what was on sale for the evening. But he surprised me, he was old, looked like a businessman and like he had just gotten off of work. His shaggy fur ruffled each time he took a heavy step. As he went by the blue jay across from me looked up for the first time, she saw me and her eyes glanced me down she gave a nod which I promptly returned. I noticed there wasn't a gag in her beak, maybe she didn't need one? Either way more and more buyers started to browse the selection.

Within ten minutes I had my first customer step into the stall. He studied me, his eyes reading what seemed like every secret I had ever known. He was a wolf himself, tall, gray furred, and strong, not fitting with the first couple of potential buyers I saw. He moved in closer and read the sheet beside my head, I could hear him muttering my notes. Out of nowhere Elise popped up.

"See anything that interests you?" She asked him walking into the stall.

"I'm just curious." He said looking me over again. "It says new, how new is it? Because I've seen other ones that say that and they've been on the floor for a couple of days."

"Oh trust me he's new alright!" Elise responded with a salesmen like attitude. "Just put out on the floor mere moments before the doors opened. Strong, capable, this one is perfect for those rough nights where some steam needs to be let off."

"Been broken yet?" He asked reaching out and touching my sides.

"Not as of yet, but just think! A clean slate that you can bend to your slightest liking!"

A few bits of saliva drip from my muzzle. "Eh, no thanks. Looking for someone with a bit more experience. Plus it's a little expensive." The wolf leaves and a sense of relief washes over me but it comes right back as others stop to look. But they don't stay long and Elise goes to tend to someone else.

"Executive buyers! Only ten minutes are left until the floor opens up to everyone else. Be sure to buy what you want now before it's snatched up!" The intercom squawked with the same voice earlier. How long had it really been? I asked myself. Maybe only twenty minutes or maybe fifty! I had no idea. Across the way the blue jay had some customers. It was a fox, he looked about forty with a scruffy tail and straight suit. Elise was putting on her sales pitch while he examined her wings. After a quick exchange of words I couldn't hear and smiles from the both of them the two shook paws. She had been bought. Elise pulled out a walkie-talkie and made a call. Two slaves themselves showed up and started unlocking the bird from her restraints while the fox was giving a wad of cash to Elise. They walked her out of the stall in wing bands that kept them folded and unusable. I just heard the fox give his instructions. "Go ahead and take her to the waiting room, should be thirty." Her beak lifted and turned to me, she looked straight into my eyes with almost a look of thanks. "Good luck." She said and was taken off to fulfill her duty as a bedroom slave.

"The floor is open to everyone now, good luck and we hope you find what you're looking for." The walkways started to fill up with many different species and now an equal number of male and female, compared to the mostly male of the executives. A lot of them were younger too. A few passed by to look at me and Elise, if she was there, put on the sales charm but none bit. That is until Elise came back with someone following her. A beautiful she-wolf with amber eyes and gray fur that was like the moon.

"I think we have what you are looking for right here. A slave that can take a beating yet still be...how did you put it...robust?" Elise asked as the she-wolf came around her and looked at me.

"A slave that can take a beating yet still stand strong for another one." I was not expecting the Western accent she had. "I'm a bit...intense...when it comes to the bed."

"Understandable understandable! Well this is the perfect one for you then! It's a wolf in a small package! Meaning you'll be able to even fit him in those smaller cages they're selling today."

She reached up and grabbed my muzzle forcing my head to one side, then her paws felt my heart rate and eventually moved down to grope me. A whine escaped my muzzle as her paws moved about.

"Fairly new isn't it." She said.

"Yes, minutes before the doors opened."

"I like it. Good heart, nice fur, well built, all in a small package. But I think two-thousand is a bit much." If my jaw could drop it would have. Is that really how much i'm going for? Maybe i'm more important then I thought, or sought after. "With it being so new I'd be willing to pay...hmm....thirteen hundred."

Elise still held her smug smile. "Oh I can't go that low, not with this premium slave here! Eighteen."

"With being new it probably hasn't been broken, meaning i'm going to have to go through the trouble of breaking it. That takes time out of my day to waste on something that should already know it's place. Fourteen."

"Point taken Madam but it's just reaching sexual prime! It'll be giving for many years to come! Also you may re-purpose if you feel, it's young enough for that."

"You drive a hard bargain Elise." The she-wolf laughed taking down the pedigree paper and reading it closer. "Fifteen, we'll call it even."

"That I can do." She said sticking out her paw. The she-wolf clutched the paper and shook, like with the blue jay Elise called in and two slaves, larger ones this time, came to take me down and bind me so I could only walk. My arms were on fire so letting them down felt like a God send. But almost immediately the She-wolf stood before me.

"Forty-two you have the honor of being my property. I own every last strand of fur on your little body. Don't you forget that." She demands in her accent. I shake my head and look down as she turns around to pay Elise. "Take him to the waiting room, mine is thirty-two, I still am going to shop around. I need something for my bathroom." The burly slaves forced my arms behind my back and the sound of cuffs closing and the feeling of tight rings around my wrists told me they weren't going to move any time soon. They pushed me out of the stall and down the way, I glanced into each stall, some were empty but most still had a slave tied up inside usually with a potential buyer looking at them. They dragged me through the dense crowd of customers and other slaves being brought to this waiting room. We went inside a different door that I came in through revealing another fairly large room lined with cages, a few of which were filled already. My captors, other slaves themselves, something I found extremely ironic and demeaning, brought me in front of a large cage. It was big enough for me to sit in and about two others as well. They unlocked the door and pushed me inside no bothering to take off the cuffs. With a slam and the click of a lock they left, I tried to get comfortable but it seemed impossible in a place like this. My head still had a hard time wrapping around this. Merely two days ago I was sitting on my couch watching tv, now I'm somebody's property, a thing.

"Why did I decide to go to the bar last night." My muzzle muttered as I hung my head low.

"Hey wolf! How much did you go for?" The voice came from behind me, I took a quick glance and found the same blue jay leaning against the cage wall two cages down, her wings still banded together much like my cuffs.

"Excuse me?" I questioned.

"First day on the floor, and within the first half of the night you get sold. That's rare, how much did you go for?"

"Oh but I thought that the vixen said Bedroom slaves go quickly." I remembered back to what seemed already like forever ago.

"Oh you really think the masters are going to be truthful to us? I've been on the floor for three weeks. Being on display is not easy, every night pinned up for masters to come and poke and prod at me. It's almost a form of torture. See birds are not very strong so we can't take a beating and a lot of masters who come in like to take stress out on their bedroom slaves. But for you how much?" She asked again.

"Well, fifteen hundred." I answered.

"A whole fifteen!" She squawked. "Damn your master must have deep pockets and saw something in you. Maybe you were just built to be a slave, some are like that." I turned myself around so I was facing her.

"This doesn't seem like the first time you've done this, how much did you go for?" Maybe price is something that's important to slaves I thought. Maybe I'm actually quite valuable.

"I was what you call re-purposed. I was originally a Kitchen slave. See I went to culinary school, but the master that bought me, some black wolf jerk, no offense, only used me in the kitchen for about a week. Then he tied me up in the closet and only brought me out whenever he wanted to use me. I don't think he wanted people to know he had a slave. Anyway, he had me retake the exam and I scored bedroom then suddenly he sold me back. I was just bought for three hundred, the 'special' of the night."

"Wow, I'm sorry." I didn't know if that was normal but it sure sounded like it.

"Don't be, we're property the master can do whatever they want with us."

The cage door unlocked and a small white fox was pushed through the hole. Then the door was locked back up. He was pretty small, even smaller then me and pretty wide eyed and bushy-tailed.

"Hello?" I asked as he backed up against the cage walls glancing around. He didn't speak for a couple seconds but finally he quietly said "hi."

"What are you little fox? How much did you go for?" The blue jay asked turning her attention to him.

"Oh, um, Bathroom..."

The bird immediately shook her head. "Sorry for you, that's the worst pedigree. Did you sell for allot?"

"Seven hundred." He said looking to me. The blue jay said that was a fairly normal price for an average slave. "Did you get bought too? By...by..by the gray wolf?"

"Yeah, I'm a bedroom slave." As the words escaped my muzzle I felt something almost click inside me. I had said it myself, I was a slave to someone I didn't even know.

"Oh." The little fox sunk down almost laying on the dirty concrete floor. "I was a college student." He said. "Studying aerodynamics but so far into student debt I was about to jump off the bridge. I'm not sure if scrubbing toilets is that much better.

"Throw that life away." The bird interjected, "the more you think of your previous life the more you get punished. You are not a college fox anymore, you're set to work in the bathroom. Just pray your master is forgiving."

"Oh I don't know about that, she said she was intense, when it comes to the bed." I added.

"Bring them out to my car in lot B" an already familiar accent said. Both the little fox and I turned to see the she-wolf walk around the cages and look down on us. "I've been waiting to get some slaves like you two. Don't let me down otherwise I'm sending you right back as defective. Do I make myself clear?" Part of me wondered what type of return service they offer, I don't think just a receipt would do it. But both of us nodded. "Good lets head home." The waiting room attendants unlocked the cage and reached in roughly pulling us out and pushing us to the door. The she-wolf opened the door revealing nightfall and a dim parking lot.

"Good Luck!" The bird called as they pushed us out and toward a truck with two cages in the back. The Master reached over the side and unlocked each one, the attendant lifted me and stuffed me into the cage, much smaller then in the waiting room. There was no room to move. I tried to shift around but I just found myself stuck on my stomach with my paws still behind my back. They did the same to the little fox.

"Here's the key to their cuffs." One of the attendants said. "Enjoy."

"Oh I know I will. But I think I'm going to have to break out that whip." She chuckled and then dropped a couple coins in his paws. "For your trouble." The attendant nodded his head and made his way back to his little station. The She-wolf got into the cab and turned the engine over. I heard the Little fox give a small whine as we rolled out of the parking lot and off to our new home.
