Enough pain. Enough taunts. Enough pranks. I have had enough, and I want this to stop. They always hated me. I never did anything to them, but they still hate me. Why? Huh, I'd tell you if I knew. The bottom line, nobody likes me, this black furred tiger with rainbow stripes. As if anyone needed any other reasons to call me "gay" and "fag" other than the rainbows.I really wish they would back off. I never asked for any of this, and lately I've had enough.~~~"Honey, wake up! You don't wanna be late for your last day of school, do you?" My mom called from downstairs. I dragged my depressed butt out of bed and got ready for school. It's been a dull routine lately: get up, get ready, go to school, learn, get teased, get pranked, get bullied, get beat, go home, eat, sleep, repeat.I arrive at school at an earlier time than usual, much to my pleasure. The courtyard was empty, and I had about ten minutes to myself before the others sowed their ugly faces. I looked down at my feet at the gravel beneath my paws. I bent down, picked up a large and sharp rock, and turned it around in my right hand with my left in my hoodie pocket.I glanced at the hoodie and was instantly reminded of my "curse." it appears any inanimate object I have prolonged interaction with turns black and obtains rainbow designs. My hoodie was no different with it's black base color and rainbow colored, runic symbols.I focused my attention back to the rock. I had some control over my so called "curse" that everyone called it, and it doesn't take much to use it somewhat to my advantage. I gently squeezed the stone between my fingers, and it quickly changed to a black rock with the word "stone" on it in the runic language that seems to be on everything I infect. Don't ask me how I can read it because I don't remember learning how.I concentrated some more, and the red and black colors of the rock switched. I then struck the rock across one of the brick pillars that hold up the pavilion of my school's courtyard. A red streak was left where the rock struck, and it glowed faintly. I rubbed my index and middle fingers of my right hand across the smear, and it quickly faded.I then looked at my fingers and saw the same red on them where I had touched it. The red then seeped into my skin and the runes for "strength" flowed from my fingers and throughout my body in the same red that I have mentioned numerous times. I felt somewhat stronger, but I knew this strength wouldn't last long, maybe a few seconds.I punched the pillar, and instead of feeling pain from a broken hand,

the pillar cracked a bit. I then felt an intense amount of pain in my right hand and dropped the rock in shock, yelping. I looked at my hand and saw the rune for "pain" etched in my hand. I really wish I didn't cut myself with that rock. I looked on the ground to find it had shattered. I silently cursed and picked up another. This one I infused with runic power then switched the black and orange colors. I then threw it across the courtyard. The moment it left my hand, a giant orange rune for "fire" blazed in front of me as the rock burst into flames and left a trail of fire in its wake, then it hit the wall and broke in a burst of fire about fifteen meters in diameter. I picked up another stone. This one I tested the yellow color. I squeezed it until it burst into a bright light. The best part is it didn't hurt. I then tried the green color, which allowed me to effectively grow a tree and heal the cut on my hand. The cyan allowed for ice-like abilities, and the blue allowed me to accidentally almost kinda flood the school. Don't ask... Anyway, the purple I'm saving for later...~~~"I'm serious, back off!" I yelled in the school's "master" bully, Greg's face. Not a scary name, but a relatively scary dude."What are you gonna do about it?" He remarked, pushing me to show his power. The lion really loves being dominant."Okay, you seriously did not just say that." I muttered, looking away."Yeah I did, weirdo." He spat."Oh, I'm weird? I didn't realize society has finally defined normal. Even if they did, there's only one person that could meet those standards, and it certainly isn't you." I said. His facial expression was priceless. I smiled, being sure to get in his face. "No one is exactly 'normal.' Even if anyone was, they would be damn boring.""Get out of my face, fag." He growled."I would, but you don't seem to pay attention to anyone who isn't invading your personal space." I remarked. "I will only say this once. You have no idea who you are messing with. I can do things that you only dream of. My stripes are far more than just markings. On top of that, I'm about this close to unleashing about nine years of bottled up rage on you, so I suggest you back off.""You think I'm scared of you?" He asked. He grabbed me by the shoulders and threw me across the courtyard. I was saved from most of the scratches I should've gotten thanks to my hoodie.I got up, a rage-filled expression on my face. My right cheek was bleeding, which gave my foe, unfortunately, another thing to mock me about."Even your blood is rainbow? That's hysterical!" He chuckled. I looked down at the poison-charged rock in my hoodie pocket. Not yet. I thought. It's not worth poison yet. I put the rock away and charged my right fist with red power. I became blind with rage. I ran at Greg, screaming. My punch hit him square in the abdomen. The moment my fist made contact with his stomach, he went flying into the brick pillar on the far side of the pavilion. He got up, and glared at me with a look that portrayed pure hate. What shocked me was what occurred next. His fur turned midnight black, apart from it's usual orange, and his mane turned rainbow."Well, would you look at that. Either I infected you, or you've been insulting someone with the same 'curse' as you." I smirked. "So which is it?""That's none of your business." He replied. He charged his fist with the runic power for "fire" and punched a fire ball at me. I calmly powered my hand with frozen runic power and summoned an ice shield to counter the fire. I then condensed the shield into an ice spike and shot it towards Greg. He countered it with the purple rune for "telekinesis" and threw it off course, causing it to drive into the pillar behind him.He then charged his fist with the yellow rune for "lightning" and charged at me. I charged at the same time, charging my arm with the brown rune for "earth" and creating a shield of rock a half second before we collided, which gave him only enough time to think: Oh shit. We collided, and I threw myself on him to pin him on the ground. I then bound him to the ground with the grey rune for "metal" so he couldn't get up.I got up, glaring at him with kaleidoscope eyes blazing with rage. "Too many times you have come out on top. Quite frankly I'm sick of it." I said. "I have half a mind to poison you and slowly kill you.""Please don't! I have so much to live for!" Greg begged.I knelt beside him, the stone in my hand so he could see the rune because I now knew he could read this ancient language. "You have no idea what humiliation does to a guy. Over the years, I have become consumed with preparing for when I kill you. There's a very slim chance of you getting out of it." I held the stone above his chest, preparing to infuse the poison into his body. I was interrupted by an inhuman screech followed by a female screaming her head off.I looked up to see an undead creature ripping apart a cheetah's chest. This is not turning out to be a good day for me. I cursed to myself."You got lucky, Greg." I muttered. I got up and threw the stone at the zombie, switching it to

fire at the last second. The stone recognized its target and, instead of exploding into pieces, caught the undead on fire and the fire consumed the walker pretty quickly.I then heard more screams, both human and supernatural. "Damn. Greg?""Uh, yeah?" He asked."How about a truce? I think it would be for the best if we set all this aside for now." I suggested."And if I refuse?" The lion probed."I can get another rock." I replied."Fine. But if you turn on me, I'll be on your ass twice as fast." Greg answered."Good to hear." I freed him from his metallic restraints and stood him up."The undead?" The rainbow cat asked."Yup." Was my response."I guess that makes a sliver of sense." Greg commented. I summoned the brown runic power of earth and started circling myself with stones, tapping them to infuse them with power and sending them towards the undead army that has begun forcing its way from the ground. A fireball crashed into a group of skeletons, a few zombies got ice spikes up their rears, and so on so forth. That was a month ago, and the casualties have been great, but that day is the day I made a truce with my best friend, Greg Poyla...
