There were always rumors of some strong pokemon, this was a natural fact in the Pokemon world. As long as there was competetion, there was always going to be trainers who wanted to be better than another. So when the rumors of a super strong Lucario started to float around, of course all trainers started to look for it.

This was the same for a trainer of Fuchsia city named Draber, with his girlfriend Cyndi he traveled the world of Pokemon with a strong team of Pokemon. Though he seemed to always be losing to his rival Kasey, and it infuriated him to no end.

She tiredly brushed her hair to the side of her face, "Draber, it's three in the morning! Can't we save this for some other time?!"

Cyndi scratched her head, "I'll wake up nurse Joy..."

Draber was yelling at Kasey as his rival packed all of his stuff, "I call a rematch! Come on, fight me again! That poison shouldn't be allowed!" Kasey yawned and stretched as he picked up his stuff, he saluted a farewell to Cyndi and walked out with Draber following behind shouting illegible words.

After shouting at his rival for a while, Draber yawned and walked back into the Pokemon Center. He scratched his head and looked up to see Cyndi, "Hey hun, sorry about that..." He smiled shyly, "Wanna do it to make up..."

But Cyndi stopped him with a hand, "I'm done Draber, you've done this twenty three times! I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt, thinking that once you did a few times you'd get it out of your system but you keep on coming back!" She growled in annoyance and she clutched her head, "Draber, I've gone nights without sleep because you had to follow Kasey's every single damn movement!"

The trainer considered going to Pallet town but knew better, his ex would have him run out... Draber sighed, "I'd better go to Veridian Forest then..." He turned towards the exit to the forest and started towards it. Walking past a group of rowdy teenagers, Draber heard something that caught his attention.

He slowed down to listen to the conversion, "Yeah! It's apparently a super strong Lucario hiding in the forest, apparently no one can beat him!" A grin grew on Draber's face, perfect.

The Caterpie looked downtrodden as he was ignored.

Multiple weak pokemon resided in the forest, and this didn't do anything to help with Draber's mood. He kept on expecting the strong Pokemon around every corner, but the strongest Pokemon he found was a Venusaur and it was drunk on nectar. Sighing, Draber dropped his backpack and slumped against a tree watching as the drunk Venusaur tried to fornicate to a tree. Draber scratched his head as he opened up his map, he marked the point he was at with a venusaur picture. "Fornicating Venusaur is here..." He said as he made a note on the map.

It was becoming hard to find the Lucario, he'd tried many different spots in the forest but he had yet to actually find any trace of the strong Pokemon. Unzipping his backpack, Draber pulled out his dowsing rods and set them aside while he dug in deeper to find his water bottle. Taking a long guzzle from the bottle, Draber panted as he returned the cap to the bottle. "It has to be somewhere around here..."

Then the sound of metal clattering got his attention, Draber glanced down to see his dowsing rods reacting violently to something. The trainer picked up the dowsing rods and blinked as they started to twist violently in his hands, "What in the world...?" Draber shrugged his backpack on and started to follow the reaction of the rods, after five minutes of following the reaction Draber gasped as he found a huge spring of water. It was one of the biggest hot springs he'd ever seen, no wonder his rods had been attracted to this point.

Walking towards the springs, Draber could feel the warmth of the spring dampening his clothes. "Wow..." He muttered in astonishment, there were pokemon all around the springs. Draber sat down to appreciate the view, and as he sat there his gaze rolled over all of the Pokemon. There were all different types, it looked like something about the water didn't hurt rock types. "It must be the natural minerals..." Draber muttered.

Following the flow of water, Draber found where the hot water was coming from. There were multiple waterfalls flowing from a nearby volcano that seemed to be giving a plethora of hot water, "Wow... this is spectacular." Draber muttered, finding himself to want to jump in the water.

Realizing that he might scare away the Pokemon, Draber snuck behind some bushes and set up camp for the night and would wait until most of the Pokemon left so he could have a dip himself. Watching as the sun in the sky started to sink below the tree's cover, Draber smiled as the sky turned a beautiful orange color. The human peered over the bushes and saw that the hot springs had emptied out, "Awesome!"
