Two tails tavern
These are the lyrics to a song that I'm currently making for fun. I was debating where to place this, but since it DOES technically tell a story I figured it could read as a poem and tell just as well until I get the music wholly figured out.
I personally think that folk poems and folk music - well, hell, folk in general - is fading from culture and that is NOT OKAY! I think this will be a fun one to sing and play, hopefully to an interested audience in the future :D!
WARNING: I didn't consider it adult since it sports no worse imagery than radio music, but it does contain bad and suggestive language.
A man set out one night,
And walked around;
His demons kept him up,
His depression kept him down.
He brisked through the woods,
Left a trail of broken leaves.
He'd arrived at a town,
The lights were all that he could see.
He passed by all the houses,
The tenants never seen.
The place was like a ghost town,
Yet so alive electrically.
His ears could hear some music,
From the center of the place.
He strode toward the sound,
With a curious and eager pace.
He found the hidden source:
To his surprise,
It was a shoddy little tavern,
Looking far from paradise.
He glanced up at the sign,
The place was called "Two Tails."
He stepped into the doors and saw,
creatures dance and drink their ales.
Come to Two Tails and see,
A scene alive with lust and glee.
There's dancing, drinking, just believe me,
No one cares 'bout what your seeking.
Have a good time, stay at ease,
No need for worry about the species.
Free to play with who you meet,
'cause at Two tails, the tail is free.
He looked around the crowd.
He could not comprehend,
How horse and mouse were hand in hand,
With a raven joining in.
The stares he got were friendly,
As he walked up to the bar.
The barkeep served him up a pint,
And said, "I've seen that kind of face before."
The man was deep in drink,
When with a tap he was addressed.
He turned around and stared into,
The blue eyes of a dragoness.
She gave a charming smile,
And leaning close into his ear,
Said, "I've never seen you here before
let's have some fun and dance, my dear."
Come to Two Tails and see,
A scene alive with lust and glee.
There's dancing, drinking, just believe me,
No one cares 'bout what your seeking.
Have a good time, stay at ease,
No need for worry about the species.
Free to play with who you meet,
'cause at Two tails, the tail is free.
He took her to the floor,
Placed his arm around her waist.
He moved his hand along her scales,
While dancing to the music's pace.
Halfway through the song,
The drink was kicking in.
He moved his hand onto her ass,
And she grinded right back into him.
She took him by the hand,
When they were done -
Slapped a twenty on the bar,
And led him upstairs for some fun.
She opened up a room,
pushed him in and locked the door.
He undid her dress and laid her down,
And then laid her down some more!
Swing around, swing around,
Find your partner, come on down.
If you haven't noticed yet,
There's more than dancing goin 'round.
Let your fantasy be found,
If you happen to find yourself in town.
Come on in and you might pound....
A drink or two, or someone new.
Come to Two Tails and see,
A scene alive with lust and glee.
There's dancing, drinking, just believe me,
No one cares 'bout what your seeking.
As for our story's friend, I'm sure,
He'll come again next week.
Free to play with who you meet,
'cause at Two tails, the tail is free.
