All right, here goes... this is a yiffy story between two males, if you're underaged or you don't like male on male stuff... well... then you're not like me and shouldn't be reading this unless if you want to throw up to miss work or a wedding, etc...
This is my first story, so please, any advice would help a lot, but I don't think it's that horrible of a piece of literature.

My name... well I don't really know what my name is, but I have adapted to the name Azure, the color of my scales.
Where to begin... the true beginning would be whenever I was born. However I can't remember that. All I remember is that I've been living the majority of my short life alone after being left by my birth parents. They at least stayed long enough for me to find out how to get on well enough on my own. What happened to them I do not know, I wish one day to find out. But I think I should start at the beginning of the events that lead up to where I am now.
It was only yesterday. I had stopped in a small town which its name eludes me for the moment. A festival was held there at the time I had arrived, which I thought was great. I watched as different people played different styles of music. Some were performing magic, and when I say 'Magic' I'm talking about some supernatural power, not some optical illusion. The fact that they were using magic didn't astound me like some others who had never seen it before, and I shouldn't of been as well... I can do a few things myself, different, but I guess its still magic nonetheless. I was wingless at the time I was walking around, I didn't want to accidentally hit someone with them.
While I was there, I noticed a group of scalies. I had no clue what race they were of...there form was not all anthropomorphic like my own... they had much stubbier arms and legs and a really long midsection, and two fingers with a thumb... I find it odd that I paid enough attention to such detail. They had given me a few looks as well. It made me feel uncomfortable but I tried not to pay too much attention to them at the time and continued to walk
I had passed quite a few restaurants, all serving food that smelled so delicious, however I wasn't able to get any of it. I had hardly any money at the time and I wanted to make sure I'd have my sleeping accommodations more secure. But that's when I first saw him. Probably one of the most gorgeous creatures to ever set foot on this dirtied planet. His physical appearance seemed to be that of a dragons with one exception; he had fur. He had dark gray fur... and bright green eyes. It was apparent that under his fur he was very muscular. He had on beige pants and some dark gray cloth and a dark blue shirt. His wings that were contracted behind him were made of feathers and had a deep red coloration that blended in with the rest of him... I had never seen anything like him before.
He wasn't looking forward as he was walking, and I don't know why but I didn't move, but I was glad I didn't. He had ran into me almost knocking me off of my feet.
"Oh, excuse me." I finally got to hear his deep rich voice for the first time. By now he was looking down at me apologetically and I noticed then just how much taller he was to me. The only thing I could hope for at that time was for me not to be blushing.
"No... umm.. Its alright.. Sir", I had regained my balance and to check I wasn't missing anything. Yeah... like there was anything on me worth anything, right?
I then noticed he was looking in the direction he was earlier. I thought then that he'd just completely ignore me, like that was his boy scouts good dead of the day now buzz off, but no after he focused in the direction he was looking his gaze returned to me.
"I should have paid more attention to where I was walking"
I was quiet right after that.. I couldn't find anything to say to him. He was still looking at me and it made me feel bad that I couldn't think of anything to say or do.
"So, having fun?" he started the rest of the conversation then
"Yeah, of course!" I kinda lied... I really was more nervous of the whole event than anything.. . I only enjoyed the music since that was free.
After that there was a long pause. Neither of us stepped away from the other, however he kept looking around from time to time. I started to get kind of curious however I held my tongue.
He then turned back to me, "Hey, care to join me for some of the food here?" he pointed with his thumb over his shoulder to one of the restaurants I passed earlier.
"No, sorry, I'm not very hungry", I lied again, " Besides I don't have any money"
"No need, it's on me"
Right then a few things were going through my head. Like why is he still talking to me? I thought it was still kind of odd but ya know...something told me to go ahead and say yes. Funny how your nature often conflicts with your conscience.
I nodded slightly "ok...?"
He just walked over to one of the benches that were set outside of the restaurant and I followed. I sat across from him. I still remember the look he gave me then
"Why are so nervous?"
Well I thought the excuse 'cause you're a hot piece of man meat and I can't bring myself to say just how hot I think you are' wouldn't work in this case... he'd probably like hit me in the face or something like that had I of said it.
"I ...don't know" I couldn't bring myself to stare back into those mysterious green eyes.

Wow... I was so out of it. I then tried something that I can't remember the name of it. I've never been good at remembering names of things I've never heard of before and he had the same, I still felt kinda bad that this guy I had just met was paying for me to eat. Throughout the rest of the night I listened to him talk about some things he had seen and some jokes. I, however, didn't really make much conversation back, I listened to him the whole time mostly except for when he asked me questions. I did tell him I was just traveling and then got to listen to him some more... and I really enjoyed it.
Later that night he finally stood up after paying, "Well, I have to go" he then walked around to my side and then said quietly to my ear, "just remember to be careful".
I felt a little alone, seeing him walk off after that. I should probably have listened to him too.
So that night I found a cheap hotel and went to sleep almost immediately.
I left the next morning...which would be today. Where I was headed... I really did not know. I just felt like I should keep going. I had continued heading westward, walking. I had walked on a dirt path in some woods, going wherever it would take me.
Some ways into it I felt something being swing at my back and fell to the ground instantly. I hate looked up crying a bit in pain and in shock at the same time and there they were. Those lizard men I saw from before who gave me the odd looks. The one who had just hit me in the back was looking down at me on the ground.
"Looks like we've found another dragon", he pulled a curved blade about a foot long from his side, "what should we do?"
Another, stronger looking one of them came up and stood as tall as he could... it looked kind of awkward with the way their anatomy was. "take whatever he has, and then kill 'em like the other dragons"
I was really scared at the time, the one who had struck me then started to feel me through my shirt and pants to see what I had...if you were going to steal and kill someone you'd think killing them first so they wouldn't provide resistance would be the best way to go about it, except I guess they enjoyed torturing their targets. All I had was a few dollars and a few shurikens attached to the belt at my side. Which he didn't seem to take any of the shurikens out. I can barely remember exactly what he did at the time I was more frightened then anything so... its all kinda not there in my head.
They had then stood over me, looking down upon my form. I only remember feeling really scared and angry at the same time. I just laid there and waited.
"Hey, just leave him alone."
There he was, the guy I had met the previous night, in his hand he held a crossbow. Looking at him compared to the assailants made me realize just how big he really was. I was extremely lucky he had shown up at the time he did.
"You fuckin' dragons" was all the larger of the lizard men hissed, pointing his own blade toward me, but had his eyes locked on the furry dragon, the sheer animosity apparent in that stare.
"Look, I got a crossbow pointed straight at your heart, any move you make that I don't like I can shoot. Or if I feel like it choose another painful spot and keep you alive for a while for you to suffer. It's your choice"
"Remember there's two of us", the more authoritative of them spoke as the other raised his own blade.
The dragon sighed and looked back at him, "Well let me make this perfectly clear, you selfish bastards. Make any move I'll make sure it'll be you who dies. I can also let you live as long as you let the kid live. Now I know you wouldn't sacrifice your own life just to take one other. But again its your choice."
Of course I was hoping that he'd take the offer, but as I looked back at him, I thought that he was going to be persistent and stubborn. He stood still, but I could sense the fear in him. Much like my own, however I felt no sympathy towards his, it was his fault for this whole mess. I don't know how long it took him but he broke and then shouted back towards the dragon "Fine, I'll let both of you live..." he looked back towards me and I could make out that his harsh whispering and through the movement of his mouth "for now".
He then walked away, the other lizardman staying at my side until the first was out of sight and then left himself. As soon as they both were away, the other dragon came up to me and extended a hand towards me.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah... thanks..."
I took his hand as he helped me up to my feet, my back was sore. I brushed off some of the grass that now was on my jeans, expecting him to just walk off.
"I don't think its going to be safe for you to walk by yourself for a while. Where are you heading?"
"Nowhere, actually" I'm pretty sure I was stuttering quite a bit.
"Then why don't you come with me to my home?"
What? He was inviting me to come with him? I felt extremely awkward... but he invited me, me! I thought about it for a second before I shyly nodded. He put the crossbow to his side as he started walking, the same direction I had been before the previous incident as I followed behind him.
After I don't know how long he came to a halt at a cave entrance to our left. He had turned towards me and smirked.
" In here", he motioned with his head, "don't worry there's nothing in here to worry about."
I was looking into the cave, looked somewhat damp. I followed him inside and noted that the cave was quite a few degrees cooler than outside. We had continued to walk through certain paths in it before he just stopped again randomly, or so I thought.
He had then began to mess with the cave wall. After a few seconds he had pushed behind one rock, which in turn open up a hidden door. I was caught in surprised. Beyond the hidden door was yet another path of the cave.
"Here we are" he stated as he walked through, having to adjust his wings to get under it. I had immediately followed after as the door began to shut and it wasn't until quite a bit into this new path that I saw a new light source, as well as some unlit torches on the wall. He lead me through the place, and surprisingly it was really well lit through little holes from the top of the walls that let them in. Then I began to notice that the rocks in these rooms were starting to look more like someone made them into a hallway, they were almost flat on the walls and ceiling, asides from the little obstructions that I guess would have to come naturally in carved rock wall.
"I know its not the greatest place but I'm pretty certain it'll be safe." The dragon ahead of me said. We had walked into a wide open room, past this point the walls were like stone bricks, like a castle kind of "I've got to take care of a few things so, if you wouldn't mind," he pushed aside a door to one room and motioned for me to enter, which I did and went into the center and looked back at him. " I don't know how long I will be gone but I will be back sometime today".
I had just nodded and watched him close the door and listened to his footstep grow fainter every second. I turned around to look at the room I was in. it wasn't very big but there was a circular pit in the middle that was filled with a thin mattress like thing to fit around the pit in the way it dipped down and some other pillows and cushions thrown around it.
I had then though about what I should do... and then I thought what can I do... not too much right now so I sat down in the little cushion pit... it was actually really soft and comfy and it didn't take me too long before I started to get really tired and fell asleep.

That's all I can think of that left up to where I am now... I've just been thinking of all that's happened as I lay here. I don't know how long I've been asleep... but all I know is that the other dragon had yet to return. I hope I haven't been asleep for that long though. I can still see a little bit of light through the light holes which I guess means that its like late evening.
I closed my eyes, trying to get some rest again when the door opened and here appeared the dragon again. I jumped up and looked towards him as he walked towards me again
"I hope I didn't startle you", he said to me.
I'm still in shock that he was being this nice to me... I mean c'mon just look at him!
I shook my head "No, not at all."
The dragon just started walking around in circles around the pit slowly. Somehow he looked somewhat nervous too. It took a while before he actually did anything else, "Well, my name's Keilan. What's yours?"
Well finally, I learned his name. Keilan. I stood quiet for a few moments before I finally felt comfortable enough to start talking.
". . . Azure."
Keilan walked towards the door and opened it.
"you know you didn't have to stay in this room ya know?"
I didn't respond to that. I really didn't know what to respond with.
"And you don't have to stay here now, either"
He walked outside of the room and I followed him. He walked towards a different door and I followed still.
After he had passed through the door I came in shortly after. I looked around and noticed that this was probably his bedroom. There was a huge bed against the center of one wall, with a canopy above it that had tattered fabric on it. Past the bed was an opening in the wall was... a balcony? Wow, I wonder why it was in here. I looked to the other side of the room and saw that Keilan was going through a chest. I decided to go to the balcony outside of the room. I placed my hand on the rail and bent over it looking down... Oh my gawd! We were really high up! I looked around and noticed that it was just a hole in the middle of a mountainside that I currently stood in. The view was amazing as well! You could see the tops of trees to the left and further outwards part of the ocean. Or at least I think it's the ocean.
I can't really say how long I've been just observing the surrounding area. Sometime into it I noticed that there was a hand on my shoulder. I jumped up once noticing that there was a hand on it and turned and there was Keilan.
He laughed, "It took you long enough to notice," he crossed his arms and put them on the rail of the balcony looking out across the land, "Nice view, huh?"
"yeah..." I couldn't really find any other words to say right now
" Ya know? I haven't been able to share this with anyone for a very long time"
"Huh?". I turned to look at him as he looked up towards the stars above. I was about to ask with who, but then noticing how entranced he was looking at the sky I didn't feel like disturbing him. I had somewhat imitated him and placed my arms on the rail and looked back down. "hmmm..."
I kept looking back towards him through the corner of my eyes, he just kept staring up into the stars, as if they were the most exciting thing in the world. Nothing had been said for a while and I felt like doing something, it was getting kind of cold and I resisted the strong urge to go inside again or maybe...
I had scooted quite a bit close to him, close enough to feel a little bit of his body heat radiating onto the right side of my body. Then I looked into the stars, feeling a false sense of connection to him I guess. I admit, this is the first time I had admired the stars with someone beside me, even if I was fantasizing it as a little differently than what it probably was between the two of us.
Looking at the stars also made me think about a lot of things... things in the past I really didn't want to remember but are always stuck in my head. I sighed trying to get everything like that out of my mind for the moment being, I should be trying to enjoy this moment since it wasn't going to last.
I felt something brush against my skin. I had then turned my head and noticed that Keilan as well had moved closer, but he was actually touching me. I felt a hand go around my and give my shoulder a gentle squeeze and I froze and melted at the same time.
"You okay?" he said it in such a nice sweet and deep voice I felt like letting my cold knees just let myself fall to the ground. I couldn't believe that he was causing such a reaction in my body.
"Y...yeah. Why ?"
" You just seem a little... tense"
I felt his arm go even further around me, the fine, short hair on his arm brushing against my flesh as he did so. My gawd I am so confused.
I began curling myself in a ball as much as I could while standing up with my arms on the rail, looking down at the ground, shivering despite the new extra warmth his skin brought to me. I was freezing on the inside. I can't think of anything to do or say! ... what should I do or say? I don't know what would be the right move to make!!
I heard him begin to chuckle lightly and I looked up. He wasn't looking at the stars anymore, but instead he was looking at me, straight into my eyes, just smiling and his arm still around me. Again I didn't know what to do... I hate not knowing what to do.
"I always wondered if a blue dragon blushed if their face would turn purple or turn red like everyone else's"
Apparently I was blushing and this didn't really help it. My face probably was red from him saying that. I tucked my chin down into my neck and turned back towards the ground. He was being very friendly and I'm assuming that there might be the possibility that he'----
