Confirmation
(Relation, Part II)
By Kjorteo Kalante
This took way too long to make, and first and foremost I would like to apologize to the people who waited for it. However, it is because of you that this story even exists at all. I am but a humble writer with a mental image that wouldn't go away. The scenario for what would become Seduction was just a fantasy that ran through my head so many times and became so developed that all I had to do was write it down. I was frustrated with there not being enough other stories out there that go in the kind of direction I like, so I made one myself, and thus, Seduction was born. I wasn't counting on it actually being a hit.
The amazingly positive reception it received is quite strange and new to me--I have fans? Excuse me? When did that happen? It just seems so...narcissistic to admit that. I don't know. On the other hand, enough clamoring for a sequel made me actually want to do one. I still couldn't wrap my mind around the concept of having fans, but the least I could do is not let them down. Which...I probably still did, considering how long it took to get this out. I really am sorry for that.
Fortunately, I have Teo and Sara's canonical back-story worked out to the point where this scenario was also fairly easy to come up with--once again, I knew exactly what happened and only had to write it down. Unfortunately, said back-story takes a turn for the weird right after this, which leaves me with a serious dilemma regarding the future of the series after this entry.
One aspect I liked about Seduction was how well-grounded it was. I took some rather extreme content that normally turns stories into blatant over-the-top fetish fics, and I tried to rein it in. Instead, I tried to present an overall acceptable scenario that just happened to include them. "Realistic incest foot fetish fic" is normally an oxymoron, but that was my goal with Seduction. Somehow, at least judging by the reception, it seems to have actually worked.
For Confirmation, I wanted to continue that theme, and present an at least semi-believable look at the consequences of what they had done. However, assuming that also works, what then? With direction like that, this series is no place for demons, shadowy secret organizations, or any fantastic and unrealistic elements like that. I believe that runs contrary to everything Seduction and now Confirmation have worked to establish. Since those elements become unavoidable eventually, I believe the best option is to simply stop here, and try to leave you with one more attempt at a well-grounded story. If I ever do get into the later parts (which is absolutely not a promise or commitment!) then I may try to call it a different name to provide some distance. For now, though, the more tempting option is to simply try to end this series on a high note. The rest can be inferred via Sara talking about herself if you ever see her on Tapestries or something.
Minor note: Any discrepancy or contradiction in the anatomy of Teo's male parts between stories is due to my having completely redesigned them in the interim. There's a reference sheet for the new look on kjorteo.net and on the various furry art gallery sites here and there if you're that curious. Suffice it to say that a year is a long time, and things like that can happen.
In conclusion: anyone who ever said anything nice about Seduction, this story is for you. It's because of your praise and devotion that I even wrote this, so I owe you my thanks for it appearing here just as much, if not more than you would ever owe me. I'm just the guy who opened up a word processor and hammered this thing out. You're the ones who actually made it happen.
Thank you.
Sunlight poured mercilessly into the once-dark room, further perpetuating its eternal war on sleeping. The young adult husky groaned and pulled his sheets upward, rolled over, faced away from the window--anything to escape the light. His subconscious mind desperately clawed and scrabbled for the last fleeting traces of rest, wholly unwilling to surrender control to his higher awareness. Alas, the omnipresent sun would not be denied, and once he was finally and decisively defeated, Teo woke up.
He rubbed his eyes as he rose to a sitting position, hunching forward until he could regain enough lucidity to entertain the usual questions regarding his current status. What time was it? He cast a glance toward the clock on his nightstand, and found that neither the clock nor the nightstand were actually there. That...was strange. How did it get so light, thought? Normally he kept his curtains closed. Did someone fuss with them? A quick look revealed that his curtains were missing as well, and that the window was on the wrong wall. What in the....
Wait...of course. This wasn't his room.
Sara!
That's right. He remembered now. He just had to dispel the grogginess before the realization came back to him. He looked around, once again attempting to appraise his situation now that he was actually awake enough to coherently do so. He was in still in the room of Sara, his sister, having fallen asleep here after the events of the previous evening. She was nowhere in sight. Finding a clock was significantly easier after remembering that he needed to look for where she kept hers instead of where he usually kept his, and his efforts were rewarded with the knowledge that it was 1:16 PM on Sunday. Ah, sleeping in on weekends, one of life's greatest simple pleasures, second only to...well.
There was a note addressed to him taped to the sliding door that led to her side of their communal closet. She must have known he would prefer to go directly through the closet into his own room, rather than out to the hallway and around. Well, that, or she knew he'd need clothing at some point. Oh, of course! He was still naked. That would have been embarrassing. Fortunately, she appeared to not be present, and thus, she missed the sight of him making it halfway across the room before becoming aware of his natural state. He rather sheepishly collected his clothing from a hastily-discarded pile on the floor, and her absence spared him further embarrassment. She saw nothing. Now, about that note....
"Went to pick up some groceries. Call me if you need anything. Otherwise, I'll be back by 2:00.
"--Sara"
Oh, right. She had mentioned something about that last night, after their.... He blinked, staring forward at nothing in particular, dumbfounded. After their what, now? The memories were too vivid to deny, the feelings too real to chalk up to one of his explicit dreams, and the matter of waking up in her bed was hard to ignore, but the idea of having not one, but two intimate encounters with his own sister this weekend left him stunned. When he came home from school on Friday, the only thing on his mind was whether he could get all his math homework done over the weekend. He wasn't counting on being the target of her scheme, and really, could he be blamed? The idea didn't strike him as the sort of danger one would normally have to worry about. "Don't talk to strangers, look both ways before crossing the road, watch out for your sister trying to seduce you." Right.
Well, no matter; it happened. Twice. All he could do now was to think about her offer. She had certainly given him quite the heavy proposal over the weekend, and he probably needed to have an answer. 2:00 was...what, almost 45 minutes? That was not nearly as much time as he would have liked to consider something of that magnitude, but it would have to do. How did he get into this mess, anyway?
"You...put a lot of planning into this, didn't you?"
She just grinned, the largest and most mischievous grin she had worn all night. "You could say that."
With that, Sara turned to leave the room, leaving her brother in a spent, pleasured, but very confused and nervous state. How had it come to this? This wasn't exactly how he had expected his Friday evening to turn out. His own sister had used his foot fetish, which she wasn't even supposed to know he had, to turn an innocent massage into an incestuous sexual act. No, on further consideration, the massage was never supposed to be innocent, at least not to her. She knew what she was doing from the very beginning! Her! How...?
He sighed, or at least he tried to, though it came out as more of a pant due to his not quite having calmed down yet. First and foremost, he needed to assess the situation, to get a sense of the damage. Just how much trouble was he in? His knot was going to stay inflated, forcing him to remain erect for at least the next half-hour or so. That wasn't good. Around Sara, he would normally hope to be as small and flaccid as possible, to specifically not draw attention to those parts. After an encounter like this, he had to at least try to preserve what little modesty he had left. He considered himself to be fairly average and unremarkable down there in most circumstances, but his mind had a way of exaggerating things when it was the absolute least convenient and helpful to do so. When his goal was to hide an erection from Sara, his length suddenly seemed like a gigantic, menacing, lilac-tipped monstrosity, an unholy tower that bellowed "Behold, mortals! Look upon your doom and despair!" The ground quaked and mountains fell as terrified villagers stood in awe and frightened veneration around the--okay, this train of thought wasn't helping. At any rate, he would have to find a blanket or something to cover it up.
He needed to clean himself. The stubborn post-climax erection was bad enough, but to have her come back and find him still messy, chest and belly fur still matted from the release? She had told him to get cleaned up, and that was by no means a bad idea. He would have to wash his fur, but he would first have to get what he could with the nearby paper towels, lest the dripping excess make a mess of her carpet as he tried to stand. Which, of course, was exactly the kind of problem he would have anticipated having to face this evening. His Fridays always turn out like this, after all. Good Lord, what is wrong with the world?
Sara only needed a small amount of time compared to her brother. After all, he had to dry himself off enough to be able to safely walk to the bathroom, then wash himself, then dry himself again. She only needed to plug in a few phones and return. At least he made it to the bathroom before she came back, thus sparing him the embarrassment of being seen in that state in the hallway--because Heaven forbid she place him in any kind of compromising situation tonight--though he still took long enough to leave her with a considerable amount of time to simply sit on the bed and wait for him to return. She was patient, though. Of course, she had to be in order to have put together, polished, and finally executed a plan of this magnitude in the first place.
She was content to wait, though, and her efforts were eventually rewarded with the sight of her returning brother, wrapped in an excessively large towel to attempt to cover his wet fur, though it did absolutely nothing to hide the prominent bulge from his forced, knotted length. At least, it did nothing so long as he was standing up, and he wasted no further time returning to the bed and having a seat for that very reason.
Ages, or at least what felt like ages, passed with not so much as a word spoken between them. Teo was understandably too flustered to know where to begin--just what does one say to his own sister after an encounter like that? "Thank you?" More surprising was the fact that for all her skill and her confidence up to this point, even Sara seemed to be at a loss, at least at first.
"So...um...hi," Teo began weakly. It was, without a doubt, the single worst attempt at breaking ice he had ever personally witnessed. Still, even if rather ungracefully, at least the ice was broken. Hopefully.
"Shh...." Sara's confidence quickly climbed as she sensed Teo's nervousness. Knowing how to start this conversation might have been beyond her, but easing his fear? That, she could do. If she could successfully seduce him, then surely she could handle calming him down afterwards. "This must be quite confusing for you, I know. I can help with that." She smiled as she reached one of her rough, hairless hands forward, gently brushing his cheek with her thumb. He let his eyes drift closed, almost immediately calming down as his immense weakness to physical affection was once again exploited. "You can ask anything. If you're confused, then hit me with whatever questions you have. I'm tough to offend and I'm here all night." She smiled, though with his eyes closed, he was too caught up in the attention to actually see that.
Teo gave a nervous sigh as he thought it over. It helped that she was still naked. Not for lecherous reasons--after all, that portion of the evening had already been taken care of--but because it made him feel less at a disadvantage. Had she been fully presentable while he was still trying to hide a stubborn post-climax erection with nothing but a towel, the difference between the two would have probably killed him. A very large part of him still wanted to curl up in shame, but at least the thought that she was naked as well helped make him feel less alone about the situation. It made him feel like this was something happening to them instead of to him, even if she was the one directly responsible for it.
So...questions. He certainly had no shortage of those, and it was good to know that he had all the time he needed to ask them all. Now, not that it particularly mattered if she would be willing to hear everything he had to ask anyway, but...where to start? He continued to think it over. He always did have trouble coming up with how to phrase anything important.
"Well, I guess...was this planned? Not a heat-of-the-moment sort of thing?" An incredibly stupid question; out of the seemingly infinite number of things he could have asked, he just had to pick the one thing he actually already knew. Of course it was planned. Wasn't it obvious? Still, he was much better at continuing conversations than starting them, so maybe this false start wasn't so bad. Maybe he could grow more comfortable once they started talking, and hopefully ask something relevant later.
"Yes. I've been thinking about an encounter like this for a long time, actually. I had to wait for quite a while until the time was right to make my move, and I had to plan it very carefully when I did. Obviously, this was a very risky thing to try, so everything had to be perfect. I couldn't risk messing it up, you know? I doubt I'd have gotten a second chance."
"Um...how long have you been thinking about this, exactly?" Aha, see? A much more relevant question already!
"Oh, since...well, you know Marcus, right?" she asked, referring to a good friend of hers from school, a rather geeky wolf. She waited for his nod before continuing. "Okay. We decided to have sex about two months ago. The way we saw it, we were doing each other favors. I'm somewhat awkward-looking, and he's...well, he's somewhat awkward, so neither of us were having much luck before this."
His eyes widened--he had no idea she had done that. Then again, it's not the sort of thing one would advertise, he supposed. Wait.... "Awkward-looking?"
"Oh, you know...my hands. And feet." They were certainly large for a female, and their being completely hairless only made them more conspicuous, drawing more attention to them on top of simply being an odd feature in and of itself. "And boobs." Or complete and utter lack thereof. "And height." Well, she was on the tall side for a female, he supposed. "And...everything, really. I kind of look more like the a back-alley sex change than a centerfold."
"Sara!! Don't--"
"Oh, it's fine." She grinned. "I'm not completely serious. I wouldn't honestly put it like that. That makes me sound mopey, which I'm not. I do have strange features, but I am what I am, you know? I think I'm a little too old to cry in front of a mirror over being flat or anything." She paused her story, seeming to wait for his agreement before continuing. She was fine, but bless his heart for worrying about her.
"Still, the fact remains that I'm not exactly a typical hottie, and Marcus couldn't talk to a woman outside of his friend zone if he were paying $4.99 a minute for the privilege, so we decided we'd get together and help each other out, just to see what it was like. And...well, I liked it. I wanted more, I wanted to do it again, but I wanted something a little more...." she reached for the right word, failed, and trailed off. She gave a small sigh of frustration before trying again. "Well, I wanted something that wasn't just two desperate friends agreeing to take their virginity from each other just to have it taken, you know? Anyway, it eventually dawned on me that I was just as uninterested in most of the other guys in my class as they were in me. I looked your way, and the more I thought about it, the more things just started falling into place with that idea."
Teo nodded along for most of her explanation, following it for the most part. For the most part, nothing particularly stood out as strange, though the conclusion had him wondering. "Wait, why me? What would make you look my way, of all places? And what do you mean, things started falling into place?"
"Well, to answer your last question first, I became aware of your kinks...your fantasies...your tastes. It was tricky to confirm since I couldn't just ask, of course, but at least the clues themselves were easy to gather. It's mostly a matter of you assuming very incorrectly that not directly telling me something means there's no way I could know."
Without warning, Teo suddenly found a foot in his face. He gave a small but high and started yelp--almost more of a squeak than anything else--as she happened to move with enough speed to make him think that he was about to receive a vicious kick to the head. Instead, her foot stopped a few inches away from the end of his muzzle and held perfectly still, giving him a view that he honestly didn't need when he was still trying to make his post-coital erection go away.
"You're staring," she said with a mischievous grin, after just long enough of a pause to observe that. "There's the normal amount of looking at something when it's that close, and there's thinly-veiled wide-eyed gawking. Also, I'm going to guess that anything you say in response to this statement will start out stammered, as if you barely even heard the question."
"I, um, see...that's...wait, what?" A brief pause before he realized that he had just confirmed her prediction. "Hey, wait! It's not like that! I was just...you surprised me, is all. I mean--"
"Uh huh." She chuckled to herself as she retracted her leg, effectively releasing him. "No offense, but you're terrible at acting natural when there's something on your mind. Even if you won't actually admit your secrets, the fact that you have them couldn't be more obvious, and that in and of itself is a clue. So, what would make you that uncomfortable with feet? The way you used to absolutely love giving and receiving those massages before the sudden change of heart tells me that it can't be a phobia. Therefore--"
"I get the point," he cut her off somewhat frantically, as though confessing would make the interrogation stop...though that wasn't a very fair comparison. There wasn't anything particularly torturous about her display, after all. In fact, he enjoyed it...of course, that was the problem. Still, whatever means she employed to reach her conclusion about him didn't change the fact that it was correct. Hearing her explain just what mannerisms gave his fetishes away was growing more embarrassing by the second, though, and he would never be able to concentrate on the discussion if she didn't get that foot away from him. Not that it was bad by any means, but...not now.
"Oh, fine." She retracted her leg and once again assumed her normal sitting position, though she couldn't help but be amused at his reaction. Unfortunately for him, concluding one uncomfortable subject only meant it was time to discuss the other, and she didn't foresee him handling this one any better. "I had been sensing impure thoughts from you for a while now, you see. The reason I looked your way, of all places...." She thought about it for a moment, grinned, and decided to lay all her cards on the table. "...is that you looked mine first. You have the hots for me. You're aware that we're related, of course, but that only made the urge stronger. The idea of incest appeals to you, I think. You're afraid of the repercussions, but also enticed. You feel the taboo, but that only makes it all the more exciting."
Teo immediately pinned his ears back, his eyes widening as though the legions of the dead were suddenly upon him. He gave a sort of panting cough that would have sent his drink flying, had he actually been drinking anything.
"Well, am I wrong?" Sara had spent the rest of the evening up to this point specifically trying to avoid putting him on the spot, but she couldn't deny a sense of amusement from this playful confrontation now.
"I-- I...." Teo's first impulse was to deny everything. How could he admit to something like that? Not only that--how could he admit it to the very sibling he was allegedly lusting after? He could barely even come to terms with it himself, and that's assuming it was even true. Was it true? He...well.... As much as it scared him to acknowledge, there was something there, yes. Maybe. He had caught himself thinking about her like that a few times. There were those dreams, too. He had told himself it was just a side-effect of their growing up together as he matured--his hormones needed a female target for their random fantasies when they started to awaken, and she was there. Of course, he was eighteen now, and his more buxom and less related-to-him classmates never drew that kind of reaction, so maybe...well.
As for admitting it.... Strangely enough, there was something about everything that had happened so far this evening that made him want to open up to her. He was already naked. Why stop baring things there? At the very least, apparently she knew all there was to know about him anyway. There wasn't much of a point in lying if she knew the real answer before she even asked the question. If his choices were to admit it or to lie and have her know anyway....
"You're right. It's true. But...how did you know?"
"Like I said, you're bad at hiding things from the perceptive. Even if all you're doing is staring during a particular action, that's enough to tell me that you have an interest. If staring is all you do, with no further discussion, then you're not being open, and that's also a clue. Really, it wasn't hard to piece all the clues together once I started paying attention to them."
Teo gave a defeated sigh, utter shame seizing him. He had tried so hard to keep his impure thoughts to himself, only to hear that his attempts at suppression only made them even more obvious. He didn't even have the luxury of being caught in the act the second it had happened; he had been given more than enough time to carry his thoughts through to their natural conclusions, only to have them retroactively used against him long after he had accidentally incriminated himself. It was somewhat comparable to the time his parents confronted him with the porn they caught him downloading only after he had already built up a fairly large collection, but worse. After all, he wasn't naked in front of them for that discussion. Nor had they just engaged in...actually, maybe it was best if he didn't continue that particular train of thought.
"So you...you knew. I can barely put that feeling into words myself, but you read it off me like a book. I--"
"Shh. It's okay." She moved her hand toward the side of his head, her thumb once again caressing his cheek to try to comfort him. The worst she had ever intended for him was playful teasing, hoping the humor would help to lighten the mood. She never meant to humiliate the poor thing. Fortunately, with his weakness to affection, he at least wasn't hard to calm down. "I will admit that it was startling to think that my own brother would be thinking of me like that, but also a little flattering. It's not often that someone is specifically attracted to me. Even the thing with Marcus was just two friends exchanging favors. Once I noticed your attraction, the idea grew on me."
"Well, I guess--I don't want to say that any of this isn't unusual, because it is, but--I guess that makes sense, in its own way." One of his ears perked, the other remaining flattened. He was surprised how used to this conversation he was getting. She didn't respond immediately, so he continued.
"So...you knew that I was..." he hated to say he was attracted to her--even if he was, that implied a less complicated and more straightforward desire than what he actually felt. He had spent most of his time fighting with his cravings and the knowledge of how weird they were. He barely recognized the impulses himself, which made it all the more hard to believe that she had figured them out. "You knew that I was having thoughts about you, and you knew that I liked feet."
"Among a few other things, but those were the big ones, yes. Those were the ones I could actually use for my plan."
"Your plan?" He canted his head.
"To seduce you, of course. What I wanted to do since my time with Marcus, and what I finally got to do tonight."
"It was...certainly bold of you, to be sure."
"Your tastes made it easier. They allowed me to use the foot rub as a trap. You couldn't say no without having to explain just why you were uncomfortable with the idea, and you couldn't say yes without getting too excited about it for your own good." She grinned again, obviously quite pleased with herself.
"Well, that certainly worked." He had to hand it to her; she was good. Even if he had sensed her intentions when she had first started, he still wasn't sure how or even whether he could have successfully thought of a way out of it. Still, all of this left one very important question unanswered: "So...what now?"
He had asked "what now," but he was not expecting the turn the conversation took after that. Then again, he hadn't been expecting to be seduced by Sara in the first place, either. This whole weekend seemed to be filled with surprises. Still, dwelling on that wasn't helping him come to a decision regarding the offer she had eventually made.
The note said when she'd be back...how much time did he have left? According to the nearest clock, about 30 minutes or so. He really needed to use that time to think things over, but for some reason, he just couldn't. Every time he tried, his mind just blanked out, as if the whole thing was just too much for him to handle. Maybe he would tell her that when she returned. After all, it's not like he absolutely had to have a final decision ready by the exact second she walked through the door. There was still time. She wasn't going anywhere.
Math. That's what he should be doing. That assignment wasn't going to solve itself. In fact, for something that was due the next day, he was woefully far behind. It probably said something about him--though he wasn't quite sure what--that after having as many incestuous sexual encounters with Sara in one weekend as he had, and after being faced with a proposition like the one she gave him, one of his larger concerns now was how he had let all of this distract him from his homework.
Still, maybe it could help. Who knows? At the very least, it's not like he wasn't being productive. There was a small chance that taking a break from the issue with Sara would allow him to think about it more clearly later. Maybe all he had to do was approach it from a different angle. Maybe trying to figure out what X equals instead could clear his thoughts, and maybe--just maybe--he could come back later and finally arrive at some sort of answer for Sara's question, or at the very least, he could think about the question without accidentally mind-wiping himself.
He had finally managed to dress himself, as well as take care of his hair, teeth, and all other aspects of his morning routine. With time to kill before his sister returned, he once again surrounded himself with the familiar sight of his own room, with his quarter-finished homework scattered in completely unorganized pages across his desk. Yes, solve one set of problems while hoping the distraction will somehow help the other to come into focus. Why not?
"Well, that certainly worked." He had to hand it to her; she was good. Even if he had sensed her intentions when she had first started, he still wasn't sure how or even whether he could have successfully thought of a way out of it. Still, all of this left one very important question unanswered: "So...what now?"
"What now? Well...I suppose it could go any number of ways from here." For as crafty and confident as she had been to seduce him in the first place, Sara sounded remarkably unsure of herself now.
"Like...what?" That didn't exactly answer his question.
"Well, one option is to try and go back. As of tomorrow, tonight never happened. We maintain the utmost professionalism around each other, and we never mention this again. I eventually find a boyfriend who isn't you, and vice versa. We just...try to put this whole thing behind us."
He canted his head again, considering the possibility. Why did that seem so strangely disappointing to him? No matter, there were more important questions. "Do you think that could work? I mean, is it even possible?"
"Honestly? No, I don't think so. I'd...I'd give it a try, for you, if that's what you wanted. I'm not optimistic, though."
"I can see that, but...what would happen, then? If we try that and it doesn't work, I mean."
"Deep down, we both know what we did. If we agreed to forget about it tonight, then what would we talk about at breakfast tomorrow? It'd be at the very front of both of our minds, but neither of us could mention it. How does one fight such a strong undercurrent of awkwardness? Maybe we'd just...avoid each other. That'll be easier to do when we move out, of course. At that point, we could gradually lose touch with each other entirely."
"Sara, I...you know I don't like that. You mean too much to me. You always have." Whether he meant that in the terms of a beloved sibling or...something else, even he couldn't say. All he knew is that, whatever the context actually was, the statement itself was still true.
"I know. I don't want to lose you, Teo. And I fear that's just what would happen. Even if we tried not to avoid each other, what about relationships? When it's time to settle down, our choices would be to either remain alone, or pursue others. Do you think that would even work? Could I fully give my heart to someone else after knowing...this? And if I could, would you accept that?"
Teo leaned forward, sighing as he worriedly stared forward at nothing in particular. His knot had deflated and his erection died down, finally leaving him in his normal flaccid state, but with the weight of what she was suggesting, he barely even noticed. "Let's... let's come back to that later. I don't like that option, I think. I mean...I don't want to lose you, either."
She looked at him and smiled, though she wasn't positive that he could see that with his staring blankly forward in the other direction. "Thank you."
"But...then what? I don't like that option, but what are the others?"
"Well..." She carefully considered her words, taking a while to answer as she repeatedly went over how to put it. "We could just...go for it. I mean, I did this because I wanted a relationship. I wanted you, and I sensed from the secrets you were so bad at hiding that you wanted me, too. We could just...embrace that."
"What, you mean, like, the two of us as a couple? But...there are so many complications with that." His ears flattened, the tension rising in his voice, as if he were besieged with the weight of the world and all that could possibly go wrong already. "Our parents, for example. I mean, we had fun just now because they're not here, but they're coming back in a couple days. We don't live alone, you know."
"We could." She looked to one side as she spoke, trying to think this through from as many angles as she could. "We only have a couple more months of school, then summer, then maybe off to college, right?"
"Don't remind me." He winced. He was excited to finally be free, of course, but he had to survive the increasingly intense homework and finals first. Besides, as much as he utterly despised high school, the amount of complete and drastic change to his entire life that the next step would invoke filled him with more than a little apprehension. Change was scary.
"Well, let's say we get into the same school. We could live on campus, and we'd find one of those family dorms or something. Then there would be a totally legitimate excuse for us to be alone together. Our parents and everyone else would see a perfectly normal brother-sister pair trying to get through college together, and when we're alone...."
"Er...." he spoke up after she trailed off, the implications of what she was saying more than a little embarrassing to him. "You're...um...moving a little fast there, don't you think? I mean, we only got together just now, and that was just one--"
"Shh. That was a possibility, not a right-this-minute invitation, silly. I'm just trying to weigh our options." She smiled, chuckling to herself.
"Well...I'll admit that it could work. It might be hard to keep the particularly rowdy fellow students from inferring anything, but it'd be normal enough to satisfy the parents. But...." He gave a nervous sigh, briefly looking to the side. As if figuring out what he wanted to do with his life, which college to go to and why, and what major to take wasn't hard enough already! "That's just for while we're there. That's only for a few years, and even that's assuming we'd both go all the way through. What happens if one of us fails or wants to drop out? Or even if we both graduate, what then?"
"I think...." Now it was Sara's turn to look uneasy. This was enough of a bold proposal that it was far from easy to discuss, even for her. "At that point, we could just take this to its conclusion. We could find a place, and live together. I mean, we can't just come out and admit what we've done right now, because we're still living at home. If our parents don't take the news well, then we're still at their mercy. However, the time at college could give us enough experience and enough of an opportunity to make the transition. We'd just move from the dorm to an apartment or something, and we'd be on our own, and then what could they do to stop us? We could just find work or something, and--"
"Sara!!"
"What?"
"Look, even before this happened, we've been close. As my older sister, I've known you my whole life, obviously. I love you. Tonight has...made it a little confusing to understand what kind of love I mean, but I know I love you in one way or another. You have to understand, though!!" He was definitely sounding more and more tense, his eyes widening, his efforts to ward off his own panic clearly unsuccessful. "We just did this ten...twenty...however many minutes ago it was. I don't even have the first clue what that means for us yet--how we're going to act toward each other from now on, or anything like that--and you're already asking me to excommunicate myself from the rest of our family and elope with you!"
"I'm asking nothing of the sort!!" She matched his raised voice, then winced. The last thing she wanted to do was to get in a shouting match with him, but he was growing more stressed by the second, and the general mood of the entire conversation seemed to be escalating as a result. "Look, I told you, I'm just weighing out our options. If you don't want to go that route, then don't."
"But then, what else are we going to do? We can't go back!! This is...." His anxiety seemed to gradually leave him, replacing itself with...sadness? He sighed, the weight of the world apparently finally defeating him. "This is just too big. This isn't the kind of thing we can forget ever happened. We don't have an innocent relationship anymore. We're no longer just a friendly brother-sister pair. That's gone. Do you understand? It's gone. What we have now...I don't know. We have to either do it your way, or resign ourselves to failure. It's like you said; it'll get too awkward for us to want to face each other again, and we'll fall out of touch, and we'll never see--"
"Teo."
"What?"
"Teo, look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap, okay? I understand how monumental this is, and I'm not trying to pressure you into anything. I'm really not."
"I know, it's just...." Another sigh. "Like I said, it's already too late to just back down now. Something has to happen, one way or the other. You had this plan to get us together all worked out, and you figured out what I like and how to use it against me, but for all of that, you never thought this through as far as how we'd get along after this, did you?"
Now it was her turn to flatten her ears, consciously stifling her first impulse of taking offense in order to desperately try to salvage the conversation. "I...I said I wanted a relationship with you, and that's why I didn't just have sex with Marcus again. I will admit that my fault was in underestimating the complications of getting it. I was so proud of myself for having worked out this perfect plan to get us together that I...I hadn't really thought about what to do after achieving it, no. I guess I just thought we'd somehow live happily ever after once I seduced you. I'm sorry...I didn't mean to destroy what we had."
"Please don't say that. The innocence is gone, sure, but we haven't been destroyed yet. Don't give up on us just yet, okay? It's my fault things seem so bleak now. We could have worked this out intelligently instead of shouting, but I panicked. I'm sorry."
"Look, let's just rest for now and talk about it again tomorrow, okay? We still have plenty of time. I'm still going to be here. I'm not giving up on anything. We're just cooling down and letting things sink in a little so that we can more calmly approach this next time."
"Yeah...that's not a bad idea. There's still a lot I want to ask, but some time to process all of this might help. Thanks, Sara. I still love you, you know. No matter what happens from here, you're a good sister." He smiled warmly, and she returned the gesture. He picked up his scattered and discarded clothing, but wasn't quite brave enough to remove the towel to change in front of her, so he just kept it wrapped around him as he walked through the closet into his own room, leaving her to her own thoughts just as he tried to tend to his.
In his heart, Teo knew that playing the scenes from the past two days in his mind again wouldn't help him reach a decision. After all, he already knew what happened. The question was what would happen from there, and that's what he needed to decide. Still, he just couldn't chase those thoughts from his head. Even the math failed to help, which was somewhat troubling in itself, given the fact that it was already Sunday and he had barely started his assignment. He was simply too distracted by the issue with Sara to work on his homework, and too flustered to work on the issue with Sara. The question of what to say to his teacher if he couldn't finish on time was something he'd have to address later, though; there was already a large enough backlog for his dilemmas as it was.
The way he saw it, he had four options, though three were simply specific variations of an overall yes-or-no question: whether he wanted to pursue an actual relationship with his sister. On the "no" side, there were three ways of handling it. He could try to revert to the way things were before. He and Sara could both work to gather the worms that had been unleashed and place them all back in the can, and never speak of them again. This entire weekend would be a mere trick of the imagination, or some sort of dream. They were still just a friendly brother-sister pair, and had never been and would never be anything more. Who knows? After enough years go by--maybe by the time they reached middle age--perhaps one or both of them would believe it. Maybe it really was possible to forget about this.
There was still the matter of other relationships, though. Would he really be comfortable with Sara flirting, dating, and even marrying and raising children with someone else while he watched from the outside? Well, if he went with this option, then he logically should be. After all, they were just an ordinary sibling pair who never once had any sort of illicit encounter or deeper feelings for one another. It wasn't as though Teo was the first person in history to face the issue of his sister finding a boyfriend, and that's all there was to it, right?
If denial was impossible, another option was to accept the events of this weekend while still reaching the same end result. Yes, they had sex, and yes, there may have been some feelings involved. It was a careless, irresponsible fling, though, and it never went further than that. This option had the advantage of not requiring psychologically-decimating levels of memory suppression, though it invited its own unique level of awkwardness. Just what does one say to his sister after having been through an encounter like this? Admitting that it happened was admitting that the innocent brotherly and sisterly affection was gone, to be replaced by...by...what? It wouldn't do anything to make dealing with another suitor any easier, either.
If all of this was too much for him to bear, he could simply run away. He was eighteen now, and in his last year of high school. He'd be off to college soon enough, and then he could start anew, and forget about all of this. Forget about his troubles. Forget about...her. She did warn him that they could easily fall out of touch, turning hesitancy to talk about this into hesitancy to talk at all and eventually never seeing each other again. He easily saw how that could happen. Still, it would give him a chance to put this all behind him. He could even find someone new to pursue. Of course, so could she....
All of this assumed that the answer was no, of course, and all variants of that answer seemed to come with the same drawback of having to watch his sister slip away from him. What if...what if he actually went for it? He tried to ignore the societal incest taboo for a second--this was far too serious a question to have "because they say it's icky" be treated as a valid response. He was considering a decision that would directly effect the rest of both their lives, so he had to evaluate this as rationally as possible.
On one hand, accepting would instantly clear up the issue of having some guy taking her, because that guy would be him. Well, maybe if it were an open relationship, but...he'd think about that later. For now, he should probably establish whether he was even in a relationship before worrying about what kind of relationship it was. One problem at a time, especially when the first problem was as absolutely massive as it was. So, for the sake of thinking this through, he assumed he wanted to pursue a relationship with Sara. Now what?
Obviously, they would have to keep this a closely-guarded secret until they were out of the house, if not for the rest of their lives. The consequences of being found out by their parents while still at home were...well, he simply chose not to think about that. As Sara pointed out, they would have a reasonably plausible excuse to live together on their own if they went to college together. After that, they could find a place, work during the day, and have each other at night. Still, they could only live together in the real world for so long before their parents would eventually get suspicious. They couldn't directly administer any sort of punishment at that point, but the estrangement would still be tough to bear. It's not like he hated them or anything. He really didn't want to be disowned.
Aside from that, he could make it work...but then again, the same could be said for all options. At the very least, nothing he could think of would lead to his imminent death or anything. No matter what happened, the world would continue. Whether he ended up working to maintain some tiny apartment somewhere to maintain a joint secret or watched from the outside and maintained a secret by himself, and whether he ended up losing one relative for one reason or another for another, life would go on. In that sense, he could make anything work. The question was, what did he actually want?
This was all too much to decide now. He was eighteen, for God's sake! He had never had any sort of relationship before now! Admittedly, that put him behind, as his classmates seemed to have been pairing off around him for at least four years now, but...still! At the very least, this was no time to be thinking about picking an entire life and settling down into it, even if it was with her.
Teo suddenly realized, with no small amount of concern, that he had been evaluating every option he could think of in terms of Sara eventually settling down with someone. Either he would pursue a relationship with her, or he would watch as someone else did. Not only that, he was evaluating the various ways to reject their relationship in terms of how easy it would make it to handle someone else courting her. Then again, even if it was somewhat unsettling to think about, it was still a valid concern. After all, Sara shouldn't have to be alone forever just because he couldn't decide what to do with her. She had to be happy, one way or another.
The question wasn't what he wanted; it was whether he wanted her. For her to be happy, her heart would have to eventually go to someone. If not him, then someone else. Knowing that, did he want it? Someone had to be the one for her. Someone had to step forward and be with her. Did he want it to be him?
Uncertainty flooded his mind all over again, but there was one thing he did know: this was a much bigger question than the cosine of X. Further complicating the matter was the fact that she would return any minute now. What was he going to say to her? Even if he didn't have a perfectly solid final decision, he should at least have some vague idea of the direction the conversation should take!
Saturday. The day of sleeping in, so as to be sufficiently well-rested for all the not doing anything the day would demand. School yesterday, video games today, homework tomorrow before it's due the next day. Saturday was the hole in Teo's weekend, the day he could either blissfully laze about, or stress about assignments but fail to find the motivation to actually work on them, and laze about anyway. Usually. There was something on his mind this time, though.
Was he dreaming? Were the things that happened the day before real? Did Sara really...? As awkward as it was to admit, it wouldn't be the first time he's had erotic dreams about her. In fact, they had been somewhat distressingly frequent as of late. He always felt strange after waking up from one of those, just because of the subject matter his subconscious decided to throw at him. Then again, even the awkwardness of having yet another Sara dream was still less than that of the uncomfortable realization that this one might have actually happened.
No, it wasn't a dream. Sara had made that clear enough this morning. She had asked him to come to her room in the evening so that they could continue their discussion. She wouldn't have done that if said discussion were fictitious. That must have been why she said that! She knew him well enough to know he would instinctively try to dismiss the entire event, and threw that at him just to confirm that a good night's sleep didn't make the encounter cease to exist. That, and giving him until the evening should theoretically allow him to think things over.
Well, the first goal was a success, but the second was a spectacular failure, as it was just about time to pay her a visit and he still had less than no idea what to think. For all the "thinking things over" he managed to get done this day, they may as well have not even bothered to take the break last night. He was certainly no closer to an answer now than he was yesterday.
On the other hand, at least a potentially catastrophic end to the entire ordeal was averted when they had realized they were both getting too panicky for their own good, and decided to postpone the discussion until they had calmed down. That was good. As long as he went into this encounter remembering that yelling at Sara wouldn't mitigate the problem or help in any way, and would only make things worse, than at least some good came out of his otherwise wasted Saturday.
Teo slowly, hesitantly stood, walking away from his desk and towards their mutual closet. Sliding his side's door open was easy enough. Moving the clothing out of the way was easy enough, though stumbling over Sara's gravel bin inspired one or two rogue thoughts he had to stop for a moment to squelch. Unfortunately, nervousness got the better of him with the door on Sara's side, and he froze.
No, no. Steady. As nervous as he was, she was still on his side, and he knew that. He wasn't competing with her, and he didn't need to have a perfectly-prepared suave and graceful speech to sweep her off her feet. If he awkwardly stumbled over a point, then she would try to assist him with it. This was something they were both trying to get through together. He could do this. They could do this.
He gently knocked on Sara's closet door. It seemed like a somewhat strange gesture compared to knocking on her actual door from the hall, but the two of them had always gone through the closet to visit each other instead of out and around. It would have been stranger for him to break that tradition now.
"Sara?"
"Come in!" Not a demanding or even excessively eager tone, but...happy. He could tell just from the greeting that she was either significantly less nervous than he was, or putting on one hell of a show to be brave for his benefit.
He closed his side of the closet before opening hers. He closed her side as well after stepping through, as though trying to lock up behind him and ensure they were safe here. He could think of at least three reasons off the top of his head why that was a silly gesture--they were still home alone and would be until Monday, that was only the closet door and nothing leading to the rest of the house, and it didn't even lock anyway--but there was something psychologically comforting about the effort, so why not? Best to be as at ease as possible for this.
She was already sitting on her bed, and he wordlessly approached and sat down next to her. She smiled, and took advantage of the closeness to place a hand on his shoulder, gently squeezing. He could have died from the sheer weight of his own nervousness as he approached, but a smile from her and a shoulder rub to work off the tension was all it took for her to instantly soothe him. He even let out a soft but happy "nnhh" as the massage started to take effect, and she simply chuckled to herself. She had to stop eventually, though, as the poor thing was much too easy to subdue. She had to at least leave him with enough wits to still be able to speak.
"Mmm...thanks," he said after recovering.
"Thank you," she countered.
"For what?" He canted his head, not expecting that.
"For being here. For visiting me tonight. You've always been...what's the best way to put this...timid? You normally avoid things like this. I had to trick you yesterday. Today, though, I gave you a direct invitation and you came, knowing full well what this was going to be about. That was brave of you, so...thank you."
He flattened his ears for a few moments before reverting them, his way of blushing. "Well...I just...I mean...it's nothing anyone wouldn't...." He stopped and took a deep breath, focusing, starting over. Nice to see he was off to such a good start. "I had to. I mean, this whole thing wasn't just going to go away if I didn't think about it. Believe me, I tried! In the end, though, this has to be dealt with."
Sara just nodded in agreement. "So...how do we deal with it, then? I don't suppose you've decided what you want to do?"
"Not yet. I tried that, too, but...it's just too big of a question for one day to really help. I mean, we're talking the rest of our lives, here. I know you said we weren't trying to rush things, but...." He trailed off as he tried to think of how to explain himself. His simile-crafting skills needed some serious work, but they were all he had. Fortunately, she waited for him to continue rather than trying to interrupt, at least. "It's like there are all these roads, and we have to take one. What you're saying is that we don't have to sprint all the way to the end of one right now. That's fine, and I thank you for that. Still, they're all long enough to maybe last the rest of our lives, and we still have to pick one to at least start on now. How far we go on it, how fast, and for how long, I don't know...but picking one is still a life-altering decision."
Sara nodded once more. To be honest, she hadn't thought about it like that, but she couldn't deny that it was true once he explained it. She wanted to say something to comfort him, but she was at a loss. It really was that major, or at least she could see it that way once he pointed it out.
He reached a hand up to his own shoulder. She had stopped massaging him, but her hand still rested there, and now he took it in his. As rough and dry to the touch as ever, but it was still comforting. "I'm scared, Sara." The way he said that almost too quietly to be heard made it sound even more small and weak than it already was. He wasn't trying to be pathetic, though he worried it might come across that way. "It's all too big. I'm...not so good with major life changes, you know."
"It's okay, Teo. I'm here." She accepted his gesture, adjusting her hand to better clasp his. "Change can be scary, I know. Hell, I worked out that deal with mom and dad to take a year off between high school and college, because I didn't know what I wanted to do or what I wanted to get out of it all. Now the year is almost up, and you'll have caught up with me once your finals are over...and I still don't know."
"College...don't remind me." He lowered his head and sighed. "To be honest, I don't know what I want, either. I'm eighteen, and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I'll have to deal with picking a major, living on my own, adjusting to an entirely new and different routine...it's already so much to think about, and...well, what we did doesn't really help."
"I know. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make things so complicated." Sara wished she could do more than just gently rub her brother's hand. At least she could try to relate. College wasn't any easier for her to grasp even after having a year's head start to try, and trying to figure out the repercussions of their encounter wasn't easy for her, either.
"Can I ask you something, Sara?"
"Hmm? Of course."
"What do you want from all of this?" He let that question hang for a few moments before deciding it was a little too vague, and trying again. "It seems like, until now, this whole decision's been on me. You wanted me to think about where to go from here, and then come back and tell you my answer. What's your answer, though? How do you want all of this to turn out?"
"That's...er...." Sara actually did have an answer, seemingly unlike her brother, but she wasn't sure she should actually say it. She stumbled for anything resembling an excuse, eventually letting out a halfhearted "does it matter?" knowing full well before she even said it how bad that sounded.
"Well, of course it matters! I mean...if I decided to go ahead and stay involved with you, then...well, I mean, you're not just some prize or something I can simply leave on the wall. I'd be in a relationship with you. A relationship! Give and take. Your needs and mine. On the other hand, if I decide not to go through with it, then you'd still have to decide where to go from here. You seduced me, it was fun, but then I moved on, so where does that leave you? Either way, whether I do this or not, this isn't just my decision to make. Of course what's on your mind matters."
"I know. That came out wrong. What I meant to say was...." She tried thinking about it again, and came up with something at least a little more palatable this time. "I just don't want to influence your decision. What if you didn't really want this, but then I were to say that I did? Then you'd have to decide between abandoning me and going against your own wishes just for my sake. That's an example, of course, but...I just don't want to make things even harder for you."
"I don't recall there ever being a rule that this was only about whether your thoughts could influence mine, and not whether it could be the other way around, or whether we could reach some sort of mutual decision." He gave a small, somewhat nervous but still sincere smile. He really did care about her. "This affects both of us, so you should have a say, too. Try me."
"Well...yes, I suppose you're right. In that case, I don't know where this leaves you, but...." She sighed. "I want this. I mean, I wouldn't have seduced you in the first place if I didn't want this. Like I said last night, my encounter with Marcus left me with the realization that I wanted something, but something more fulfilling. Then I thought about it and I read the signals you were accidentally giving me, and decided that I wanted you. I still do."
Teo simply bowed his head as if to nod, but left it bowed, as he let his sister's words sink in. He wasn't quite sure where that left him, either. In fact, he didn't know how to respond to that at all, short of asking for further explanation, in the hopes that either the new information would spark some sort of intelligent response, or at the very least, that it would buy him a little more time to think about what to say. "So, what would you have us do? I mean, it's one thing to just say that, yes, we're together, but...how do we actually pursue that?"
"I think, assuming that you wanted this as well, the plan I came up with last night could still work. Think about it; you're just finishing up high school this year. I finished last year, but then waited a year. We would both be approaching time to enter college together. We could pick somewhere and get a dorm together. That'd give us the privacy, and we'd be reasonably free of suspicion for as long as we stayed there. Where we go from there, I'm not as sure. I do have some vague ideas--get a house somewhere, that sort of thing--but the thing about life is that sometimes you just have to wing it on the finer details, you know?"
"That's true, yes." The extra elaboration did help, though it still took him a few more moments of pondering before he could finally put his response into words. "Amazingly enough, that...does sort of make some sort of sense, yes. I mean, it could work, assuming we went that route. I have to be honest with you, though; I can't say for certain that that's what I want. I mean...you said you didn't want to influence my decision, right? I didn't know before you said that, and...I still don't know. It's something to think about, though. And for that, I thank you."
Sara gave his hand another squeeze. "That's all I can ask for, really. Thank you for even considering it. I know how hard this is for you." She considered the situation, then adopted a suspiciously mischievous smile. "There is something else I wanted to ask about, though."
"Hmm? What's that?"
"Well, I think trying to think about our futures has reached its natural conclusion for the evening. I mean, I already said what I wanted, and I can't force you to decide any faster if you don't already know. Let's just let that sink in for now. On the other hand, I have you here now, and I believe there's room for another...encounter, if you'd like."
"Another...." His eyes widened as the realization of what she meant gradually dawned on him. "Excuse me?"
"Think about it; if we do get together, then this just might become a regular thing. Even if we don't, the damage has already been done as far as what we already did. Is forgetting about two encounters in one weekend that much harder than one? Either way, the way I see it, there's room for another...."
His nervousness was quickly rising again, but he had to admit that her logic made a strange, somewhat twisted sort of sense. "What...what did you have in mind?"
"Actually, there was one problem with yesterday that I wanted to correct, which is that you didn't have much of a say in it. I laid a trap, caught you in it, and seduced you. This time, I want to make sure that you approach and accept this with both eyes open...or don't. You can say no, and I won't stop you."
Teo couldn't think of an acceptable response beyond simply nodding. He did appreciate the gesture, though. Sara always did look after him, even if the exact definition of that was one of the many facets of their relationship that this weekend had altered. "You want me to come to you and...well, do this...more willingly?"
Sara smiled. "Exactly."
"Well, I...I have to admit that I liked what happened yesterday. It's been quite hard to forget, obviously. Among a million other thoughts both for and against the idea, I have to admit that a craving for more is in there somewhere. I'm still not sure if what we're doing is right, but I find it surprisingly tempting to try to ignore that. It's just...."
He completely trailed off and didn't attempt to continue, so Sara had to try to draw the rest of the response out of him. "It's just...?"
"I don't know. I feel like no matter how many times I mentally assess the situation and how far I try to think the consequences through, I'm somehow still not prepared to just throw myself into this. And the consequences of being under-prepared seem like they could be particularly devastating. It's like...it's like trying to cope with that nagging I'm-forgetting-something feeling just before skydiving."
Sara gently placed a hand on the back of his head. Her dulled claws gently traced through his hair, not to make him too melted to think clearly or as some sort of trick, but simply to try to calm him down and soothe him. "Teo...would it make you feel any better to know that I'm nervous, too?"
Teo canted his head to one side, looking at her confusedly. "You are?" She certainly seemed confident enough yesterday!
"There's no way to know where this is going to lead. There never is with these sorts of things. It's just worse for us because of the circumstances--we can't be an ordinary couple. We could be a couple, sure, but not an ordinary one. Besides, it's the first time either of us have gone through something like this. Of course it's not going to be easy."
"Wait, didn't you say you and Marcus...?"
Sara briefly lowered her head, looking down. "Well, yes, I've had sex before, but that was almost more of an attempt to satisfy curiosity than anything else. This is the first time I've felt...." She caught herself about to say something that might have been just a little too strong for his comfort for now, so she simply let that thought trail off, unfinished. "Anyway, I'm not asking you to have all the answers to what this means for both our futures tonight. I'm just asking for another encounter like last night, only without having to trick you this time."
Teo carefully looked at Sara as he considered the offer. His first instinct was to panic and try to back out, but...well...that was always his first instinct. Did he have any objections that carried more weight than his own hesitancy? He did still want her. Would a second encounter really break anything that wasn't already broken by the first?
Oh, what the hell.
"Okay. I think...I think I'd like that." A smile formed as he continued to look at her.
Both were still sitting over the same edge of her bed, and all he had to do was lean slightly to end up gently pressing into her. He moved a hand around to her opposite side in a sort of half-hug, and was rewarded with her claws moving up to his head, gently tracing through the hair and scratching between the ears. Sara chuckled as her brother instantly melted. It never failed to amuse her just how easy he was to please, but she didn't mind. It was cute.
For Teo's part, he was happy to simply curl up against her in a comforting display of innocent affection, even if he was fully aware that it wouldn't remain innocent for very long. It was easy to trust Sara. Even if she was only ten months older than he was, she had always met every expectation of the protective and nurturing older sister role. She had always looked after him, was always there for him. Even after she tricked him with a sexual encounter, it was still impossible to think that she would ever have anything less than the best intentions in mind for him....
Wait. The way he was thinking of her just now...he had always loved her as a sister, but was that...?
He found himself with a sudden lack of time to think about that, as Sara made her move. She retracted her hand from his head and backed away, leaving a fair amount of space between the two, though it still took a few moments for him to fully recover from that blissful state. When he did, he saw that she had somehow managed to quietly remove her shirt again. Just where had she learned to be so stealthy about that? Was he just that oblivious when taking in affection?
No matter; there were more important issues at hand. Namely, the fact that Sara was now completely topless, and making no effort to hide it. She even smiled when she saw the way he suddenly started staring. Not that she had a particularly attention-grabbing figure--if anything, he couldn't say for sure whether her chest was even bigger than his. Still, it was the sheer idea of viewing her like this, something he obviously wasn't used to being able to do. Besides, he had to admit a certain affinity for the small-breasted look. They were better than those horrible-looking fake gigantic monstrosities that everyone else seemed to like, at the very least.
She gave him no time at all to adapt to the situation before she moved even further. While he was still too busy gawking at her chest to actually do anything, she unfastened and pulled down her shorts and underwear. After slipping out of them and dropping them on the ground below, she was completely naked, and made no effort at all to hide herself, nothing at all obscured except for what her fur itself naturally covered.
Teo's breathing quickened as his gaze remained firmly attached to Sara, the sight a realization of an age-old desire he never could dispel. He had spent years in a frustrated state of sexual awareness with no target, and her body was something he was in frequent mental conflict over. His baser instincts saw her as an incredibly attractive female, while only his more timid intellectual side remembered her relation to him and the inherent wrongness of it all. Still, he had his usual share of curiosity with her, wondering what it looked like when she changed, when she showered, when she slept. Though there was obviously no good way of acquiring it, he had always secretly wanted some sort of picture or any sort of keepable memento of something like this, something he could treasure privately behind his own closed doors.
He never could fulfill that desire, but now she was willingly exposing herself to him in person. This was no picture. Nor was he alone, or behind his own doors. Even after the previous evening's encounter, the fact that this was even happening, that she was here and that was really her, and that she was really doing this, willingly, was almost impossible to get used to. He had such great trouble wrapping his head around the concept that he fell into a sort of aroused but shocked daze, and she had to speak to him to call him out of it and to make him remember his part in this activity.
"I think you're overdressed."
"I...I'm what? Oh...oh. um, yes. Yes. I suppose I am...." He rattled his head, forcefully tearing himself back to reality. This was no time for his higher mental functions to shut down! She went to the trouble of exposing herself for him, after all. He may as well return the favor, at the very least.
He pulled his shirt over his head and removed it with significantly less grace than she had employed while removing hers, and had to temporarily get off the bed and stand up to pull down and remove his shorts. Every piece of both their outfits ended up in the same discarded pile on the floor, and as he climbed back onto the bed, both siblings were now equally naked, equally exposed. His first instinct was to curl into a ball to hide any particularly objectionable parts, but that only lasted a few moments, much to his own surprise. Then again, they had bared their thoughts on the most intimate matters to each other, both today and yesterday. They may as well bare their bodies as well...? He had to admit that it somehow felt...natural. Intimate.
Of course, they weren't there to merely cuddle and trade secrets while naked, though he did have to admit that the idea held a certain appeal. Perhaps next time.... For now, though, she had presented him with an offer for another encounter like the previous evening, and he had accepted. He smiled, and moved to the top of the bed, resting against the headboard. A small part of him still screamed that he was crazy for willingly doing this, but his resistance seemed to be fading a little more with each passing moment compared to how much he really did want this. It wasn't an instantaneous change by any means, but he eventually found the courage to lay before her, freely exposing himself to her just as she had to him.
The way Sara looked over his exposed form was almost reverent, revealing very obvious respect and appreciation for willingly showing himself to her, and also strong approval for what she actually saw. True, this wasn't the first time she had ever seen him exposed like this, as they had already had their first encounter the previous evening. However, she spent a significant portion of that evening focusing on her plan, and its final moments had to be moved somewhat quickly to ensure its success. She had been too busy playing with Teo's parts to stop and really examine them. Now that she found herself with more time and under less pressure, she fully intended to rectify that error.
She positioned herself on her knees on one side of his hips. Leaning forward, she placed both hands on his upper chest, both sets of claws resting on his neck. He briefly wondered what she was doing, but all questions disappeared once she started moving her hands lower, the claws now moving down his neck, chest, and belly in a carefully, almost lovingly gentle scratching motion. He let out a soft, happy-sounding whine, resting more heavily against the headboard as the pleasure instantly sapped his strength. As his eyes naturally drifted closed in response, he became completely vulnerable, to the point that he wasn't even aware of just how low her hands had moved until he suddenly felt the sensation of that gentle claw-tracing on much more intimate areas.
Sara smiled to herself, quite pleased with his reaction. The way he melted under her touch really was cute, and it allowed her to reach her intended target while he was distracted. She wrapped her fingers below his softened length, holding it up, simply getting a good look at first. Once satisfied, she placed her thumb on the top and gave a few experimental squeezes, as if trying to feel out the shape of the core beneath the outer skin. She even gave a few squeezes near the tip, which pushed the inner length back while drawing more of the overhanging sheath forward. Teo responded with a small, sharp gasp and another pleasured whine, though it was clear that she was enjoying this examination almost as much as he was.
The sensations didn't let up, as she seemed downright fascinated with his equipment, and he had no intention of making her stop. The experimental squeezes she gave were rewarded by his quickly growing erect, which opened up even more possibilities to examine. Once he grew large and firm enough for her to wrap her hand around, rather than having to squeeze with her fingertips, she changed her grip to do so, and even gave a few experimental strokes. She was quite pleased with the obviously blissful reaction this drew from him--she did want to make him happy, after all.
Teo, for his part, was content to enjoy all of Sara's wonderful affections. No longer impeded by inhibition, he leaned his head back and kept his eyes closed, simply soaking in the feeling of it all. His eyes suddenly shot open, though, when he felt something warm and wet pressing against the underside of his shaft, up to the head. He looked down in surprise at Sara, whose muzzle was perilously close to his tip after apparently having finished a single long lick. Her gaze moved upward to meet his, and when she saw his surprised expression, she couldn't help but chuckle. "Sorry. Had to."
After taking a few moments for what just happened to sink in and catch up to him, he smiled, quickly growing as amused as she was. "I'm not complaining...you did surprise me a bit, though."
"Did I, now?" The pretend-shock in her own voice was obviously feigned, teasing. "So, you never told me you were the same color."
"That I'm...what?"
"Look."
With that, Sara backed away from Teo's now fully-erect member, and raised herself to give him a better view of her. Placing one hand between her legs, her fingers found her own folds and spread them open. She simply held this position for what seemed to him like ages, giving him an unbelievable view of her entrance. The sight was powerful enough to instantly overwhelm him, and he completely failed to find any sort of adequate verbal response. All he could do was stare. He even managed to forget that he was supposed to be looking for some sort of detail in particular rather than just gawking at the general view, at least until she reminded him.
"See? Same color."
"Same...what? Oh. Oh! Right...." Brought back to reality once again by her words, he tried to give her entrance a more careful examination. Sure enough, what he could see of the spread-out inner walls revealed them to be a pale lavender color, just like his tip. "They...actually, you're right. They do appear to be pretty similar, don't they?"
"I think they might be identical, actually, but I'd have to get a closer comparison." Without warning, she grabbed his length again with her free hand, eliciting a sharp but pleasured gasp from the surprise. Moving one leg over him to straddle him, she positioned her hips to bring herself as close as she needed to be. With one hand holding herself open and the other guiding his shaft, she joined the two parts together, pressing one side of his tip against one of her walls. "There. What do you think?"
He looked carefully at the area where they joined, trying to compare and contrast, to carefully evaluate any possible difference in shades. "Well, clearly they're--" His own shock and surprise interrupted him as she made her next move, completely derailing him from whatever he was about to say.
While he still tried to formulate his response, she suddenly let go of her own entrance, moving her one hand off to the side while the other still held his shaft. With the tip of his length already held up to her for the comparison, her entrance closed around him, and he suddenly found himself inside her. Not by much--only the head was in, and the entire length of his shaft still separated the two. Still, the warmth he felt at his tip was unmistakable, as was the sight of her straddling him.
"I thought...." The pleasure itself wasn't sufficiently overwhelming to addle him, but the psychological implications of what she was poised to do was. The foot thing from last night was one thing, but--! "I thought you said there wouldn't be any more tricks."
"Sorry. I couldn't resist." She chuckled. "In all seriousness, though...." Her hips stayed in their exact position, neither letting his member out nor allowing it any further in, but she leaned forward with her upper body, her hands finding and resting on his chest as she looked directly into his eyes. "Tell me to get off of you, and I will. Tell me to press down and conclude this, and I will. It's entirely your decision to make, and I won't stop you either way."
He flattened his ears as he tried to think. She had gotten him off last night, which was already much, much more than typical siblings usually do for each other, but even then, they hadn't...well, this just seemed different, somehow. This was actual sex. Would this be crossing a line that even last night's encounter hadn't crossed? Or had they already crossed the line last night, making it too late to worry about crossing it again? Was there more than one line? He honestly didn't know, so after a few moments, he simply stopped trying to figure it out. For better or for worse, they were what they were. All that mattered was what he wanted, and...well...he wanted this. He had never actually done this before, and he certainly wasn't expecting Sara of all people to be his first, but he supposed circumstances had a way of being unpredictable like that.
"Is it...safe? I mean, I'm not wearing...."
"It's fine. I'm on birth control. Good of you to check, though."
He smiled. "Then...yeah."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah...let's do it."
Sara smiled, her gaze never leaving his as she gradually lowered herself, taking the entrance slowly and carefully. This was only her second time having actual intercourse, and thus, even if she technically wasn't a virgin, she was still far from a seasoned professional. Besides, even if it wasn't her first time, it was still his, so she made it a point to be especially careful for his sake.
Teo briefly closed his eyes, trying to evaluate the feeling of her walls around him. It was...unusual. It was a wholly unfamiliar feeling, much more wet and slippery than he was used to, or than anything he had even felt down there before. He almost missed the familiarity and reliability of stroking himself compared to these strange new sensations, but they were quite pleasurable in their own way, and he eagerly accepted them. When he opened his eyes again, a part of him expected the sight of it being Sara of all people on top of him to kill the mood, but...it didn't. In fact, if anything, he somehow found it even more appealing that this was with her.
A thought popped into his mind, and even if it seemed horrifically lame, like something out of a bad romance movie, it was simply too true, and he felt it too strongly to not say it. Besides, she would understand. If anyone would understand him, she would, right?
"Sara...you're beautiful."
She was almost fully hilted with him, the amount of his shaft not already inside her that still separated them steadily lessening as she continued to slowly bear down, but she instantly froze when she heard him say that. "I'm what, now?"
"You're beautiful," he repeated, paused, then finally elaborated. "That sounds cheesy, I know, but I figured it'd be more polite than saying that you're hot. You're very attractive, though, whatever you want to call it."
She grinned, amused, and moved a hand up to his head, one finger playfully beeping his nose. "You just have a fetish."
"Excuse me?"
"Well, you know I don't look like a typical beauty. Flat chest, big hands, big feet, we've been over that already. If I'm attractive to you, then maybe you just have a thing for that."
"Sara, the only difference between a fetish and a universal standard of beauty is how many people agree with it. I look at you and I see beauty. Now just accept the compliment, all right?"
For a few moments, she was stunned. She had no lack of self-confidence and never worried or needed reassurances about her appearance, but the fact remained that she simply wasn't used to hearing such strong praise, and somehow, hearing it coming from him seemed especially meaningful. "I...I...all right. Thank you." She smiled. "You're quite sexy yourself, you know."
Now it was his turn to be caught off-guard, and his ears flattened again. "You think so?"
"I wouldn't have wanted to check you out that thoroughly if you weren't." Before giving him a chance to respond, she finally finished her positioning, and her hips met and pressed against his, his length now completely inside her. Both of them let out brief and quiet moans as they each tried to adjust to the feeling of full penetration, and Sara decided to emphasize the position with a kiss, a gesture that Teo eagerly returned, though it only lasted for a few moments before Sara had to break it to give instructions. "I think this might be easier with you on top."
"Mmm...all right." He wrapped his hands around her back and pulled her into a tight, loving embrace, which also served to ensure they wouldn't be separated as they carefully rolled over.
"Like that?"
"Much better."
That, it was. Each little movement as the two traded positions caused her walls to rub against him in a way that reminded him of their presence, and that drove home the fact that he really was doing this. He tried his first experimental thrust--raising his hips and pulling out slightly, only to lower himself and push back in. It was gentle, slow, and the increasingly...wet sensations were just as strange compared to what he was used to, but it felt nice. With Sara's own pleasured vocalizations to encourage him, he tried another thrust. Then, another.
His method was clumsy at first, his lack of experience plain and obvious. Still, he was eventually able to get his bearings. His thrusts felt good for both of them, so he kept thrusting. Their small squeaks and gasps slowly grew into louder moans as he found his rhythm and then increased it, his confidence in his movements growing along with his pleasure.
Teo noticed, for reasons even he couldn't quite explain, that Sara's presence itself greatly assisted with his arousal. The actual physical sensations of this, while immensely pleasurable, were still somewhat foreign compared to what he was used to, which would normally be enough of a detriment to hinder his performance, especially with this being his first time. He had fully expected to just keep trying until one or both of them got tired, without actually reaching his climax, simply due to the strangeness of it all. Somehow, though, she was able to counteract this. Every time he opened his eyes, looked down, and saw that it was her of all people below him, his heart soared. Every time he closed his eyes again and heard her voice, knowing she was the one making all those moans and gasps, his arousal increased that much further. When he felt and recognized the first signs of pressure building inside him, he knew this was actually going to work. Thanks to her, he was going to do this.
"Te...o...ohh!!"
But not before she was, evidently.
As she writhed and tensed up in the throes of her climax, the thrusting suddenly started to grow increasingly difficult--harder to actually move in and out, as though it was suddenly a tighter fit. He knew well enough that his knot inflating was the last warning sign before his actual climax hit, and while he had obviously never had the personal experience, he had read about and suspected that Sara had something similar--something that inflated or tightened or otherwise squeezed down just near her entrance, to catch that knot. With both growing steadily, he only had a few quick moments to decide whether to take this all the way to its conclusion, to tie with her. He opened his eyes again and looked into hers. Her expression was clearly pleasured but also...hungry. Needing. She wanted more, and with that enough to make up his mind, he gave it to her. Both gave equally loud moans as he pressed his shaft inside her one last time.
He acted just in time--it was an incredibly tight fit, and he had to all but force his half-inflated knot past her half-tightened entrance to make it inside of her. Still, he did it. He was in, and no sooner did he realize that than he felt the tight squeezing sensation just behind the knot from her own tensing entrance. He suddenly understood why his base always got so sensitive just before his release. He knew from pleasuring himself enough that it felt good to squeeze down as hard as he could just behind the knot after it inflated, even better than the stroking leading up to that point. Now, with Sara, he finally understood why. After all, with the two of them tied like this, there was no way he could possibly thrust anymore. However, her entrance could still clamp down on him. That, mixed with his increasing sensitivity, provided enough sufficiently strong, unrelenting, continuous pleasure that he could no longer resist even if he had actually wanted to, and with a loud cry to match hers, the first of what would be many shots of his seed fired into her.
For a while, both of them tightly held each other, arms mutually wrapped around each other and embracing as intensely as could be managed, while they simply tried to ride out their respective orgasms. Shot after shot found its way into her, and her insides clamped down tightly in return, her own climax prolonged and intensified by the incredible stretching sensation from that knot.
What felt like ages passed before both were truly finished, and spent. Teo's last action before his strength failed him completely was to roll over once more, once again placing Sara on top. He was heavier than she was, after all, and he didn't want to crush when he collapsed. Besides, he happened to enjoy the feeling of someone resting and pressing down on top of him. It was intimate, just as everything they had done this evening had been.
Sara slowly moved her head to one side, leaving each sibling's muzzle pressed against the other's shoulder, their cheeks gently brushing against each other. He placed his hands on her back, letting his claws gently roam in no particular direction. For a while, they each just focused on their breathing--this moment was perfect, and neither wanted to end it by actually saying something.
Deep down, Teo knew that a part of him should be all but collapsing under the weight of exactly what he and his sister just did, but he just...didn't. He was tired of worrying about it all. She had willingly asked him for this. All he did was say yes, and both of them enjoyed the experience. So his first time was with Sara. Was it really that bad? For now, it simply felt too good to be calm and to just accept it all.
Of course, that could change in the morning. It was possible that he was only this unnaturally calm because he had just successfully lost his virginity, and had one hell of an orgasm on top of that. That would do it, really. Maybe he'd panic again when he woke up the next morning, but...well, he'd just have to worry about that when he woke up the next morning.
He suddenly felt a sharp, incredibly uncomfortable pulling sensation against his knot, and gave a rather loud yelp, though more from surprise than pain. "Sorry," Sara quickly tried to soothe him, settling back down on top of him after her unsuccessful attempt to pull free. "Just testing. It looks like we're stuck."
"Mm. So what does that mean?"
"It means you're sleeping with me tonight, unless you want to wait for as long as it takes for your knot to go down and you haven't crashed by then."
Teo just smiled, suddenly somewhat sleepy after that performance, but still amused. "I thought we just did that?"
Sara couldn't help but chuckle at the joke, but her amusement wasn't enough to spare him from being playfully swatted with a conveniently still-in-reach pillow. "Very funny. Seriously, though, do you mind staying in my room tonight? It'd be fun to sleep together, though I might not be here right when you wake up, just because I needed to get some groceries tomorrow."
"At this point, I think we're just about out of boundaries to cross...so sure, why not." He chuckled.
Sara smiled, happy. Even with Marcus, she hadn't actually slept with him in the unconsciousness sense, and she already felt more peaceful and content than ever before now that she was going to with Teo. She moved a hand up to his head, and started tracing her claws through his hair, which quickly melted him all over again. "We still need to figure out what this means for us...but that can wait. For now, let's just savor the moment, shall we?"
Her affections left him in too much of a blissful pleasured state to have a coherent answer, but he did manage a soft "mmm" of approval...though whether it was approving her statement or that head-scratch was open to interpretation. After a few moments, though, she suddenly lost her composure and started an obviously amused giggling, which left him quite confused.
"What?"
"You know, mom always wanted us to spend more time together."
Now it was Sara's turn to feel the wrath of the pillow.
Sara!
Teo smiled as he took another bite of his sandwich. Trying to work on his homework had been a total bust. He simply couldn't force himself to remain focused on the present, and spent almost the entire time thinking back to the previous evening...at least until he suddenly got hungry.
He didn't mind, though. Sure, he'd probably never get it done at this rate, and he wasn't looking forward to the hit in his grade or to the kind of excuse he'd have to make. That didn't matter, though. The important thing was that he had finally figured out the answer of just what he wanted to do with Sara, what he wanted the two of them to become. It must have randomly clicked while he was distracted by his thinking about their last encounter, but it all seemed so clear now.
His ears perked at the sound of the front door opening. There she was. This was it. She was carrying quite a few bags of groceries, so he quickly got up to assist her. The rest of that sandwich could wait. "Hey, there. Want some help with that?"
She smiled, seemingly quite cheery this afternoon. "Hi. Sorry about leaving you this morning--I just didn't want to wake you up. I'd love some help! Thanks."
The two carried the bags into the kitchen, and then started working on putting everything away together, giving him the perfect chance to speak to her. "So, I've been thinking about us." His delivery was surprisingly nonchalant, as though this were just random small-talk while they were both working. He couldn't help it; finally having an answer after struggling with the question for so long did instill a surprising amount of calmness about the whole situation.
"Oh?" She still kept working while listening to him, though that had obviously caught her attention.
He nodded. "I think I was just so troubled with it all because I couldn't figure out which way was the safest. No matter how we proceed from here, if I thought it through far enough, things could potentially get ugly. But...I think that was the problem. I couldn't decide what to do because I wanted a guaranteed happy ending, but those probably don't exist."
Sara lowered her head a little, thinking. "You're probably right...no matter what we do from here, it's going to be scary. I'm sorry again for that...."
"Don't be. See, if I can't tell in advance what the correct answer is supposed to be, then I'll just have to go with what I want for now, and we'll do our best from there. Sara, I want you."
She froze, blinking once or twice as she tried to process that. Cans of soup remained perfectly suspended in her hands as she finally spoke. "You mean...?"
"Sara, I can't read the future. No one can, really. The reason I was so troubled is because I was trying to plan out the entire rest of my life, and that just can't be done. I still don't know where any of the roads we can take from here will end up leading. However...." He finished putting the last of his share of groceries away, and took a few steps toward her. "I can at least tell how each path begins, and I want the one with you. I can't say it won't be tough at times, but whatever happens from here, we can at least deal with it together, right?"
Sara set what was left of her groceries down and turned to face him. She wasn't used to being the addled, overwhelmed one--wasn't that his job? Her heart soared at hearing his answer, though. Rather than coming up with an adequate verbal response, she simply wrapped her arms around him in another tight embrace.
Thus, on that Sunday afternoon, as they were busy having lunch and putting away groceries, Sara and Teo became a couple. Would they live happily ever after? Who knows? Is there even a such thing? However, they could definitely say that they were happy in that moment, and for at least the immediate future. Teo never did find the answer to what he wanted for his future, but he now knew what he wanted for his present. That was about the best one could hope for in this world anyway, wasn't it? Sara seemed to agree, at least.
