I awoke. I had been dreaming of home. My old home. I had dreamed of everyone I had left behind. Part of me didn't care that I had left,but,another part wanted to make sure my family was OK. I was glad I had been taken but unhappy knowing that my family would not know my fate. Despite my hatred towards that world I still felt confused at this new one despite my prior knowledge of it. I sat up and sighed.
'What are you thinking of?'
I was instantly startled and looked around. Arceus was there sitting on a chair next to my bed. She was in anthro form and was watching me. I sighed again and got out of the bed having slept in my clothes. Arceus watched me.
"I'm thinking of my family. As much as I disliked that world I still wanted to know that my family was OK and let them know I was safe."I said
'Already thinking of them? I don't blame you,but don't worry they know you are safe. They however don't know where you are. I took the time to seal any gaps so they will not worry.'
I nodded"Thank you."
'Will you accompany me to the main hall?'
I looked up"Why?"I asked
'No reason in particular I just wish to have company for a while. Is it not alright?'
"No its ok I'll go with you I need to show that im not going to stay in this room and will go places,plus maybe I'll see a new legend or a guardian."
'Good come with me.'
Arceus stood from the chair and walked to the door with me following. We soon exited into the hall and made our way to the main hall in silence. No one seemed to be out but as soon as we made our way to the main hall I saw that was not the case. There where a few legends and their guardians in the main hall. When we entered all eyes turned to us. The legends and guardians gave a quick bow to Arceus and eyed me for a second before resuming whatever they where doing.
Arceus kept walking though. She made her way through the main hall to two gigantic golden doorways at the end. With a flick of her wrist the doors started glowing and they opened silently. She then stepped outside. I hesitated,I knew I would be entering spear pillar but it would be my first real time in the Pokemon world outside the hall.
"You are hesitant to go outside?"A voice said making me flinch. I turned and was greeted by an anthro form of Kyurem. His voice revealed him to be male."IT is impolite to keep Arceus waiting."
"Sorry but I am just a little hesitant,all my knowledge of this world comes from a video game. I do not know what to really expect."I said
"The world is not the friendliest,but I doubt you will have troubles. As long as you stay with Arceus you will be fine."
"Thanks."I said
"You are most welcome,many of the legends and their guardians are curious of you myself included. I believe that suicune has visited you,yes?"
"Yea"
"Many of us have heard the brief descriptions of your life,but many of us are more curious than ever,we would request that you share. But it is up to you what you share and withhold but for now follow Arceus she is waiting."Kyurem said before turning and leaving.
I watched him go to a small corner where a man dressed in similar blue robes was standing. I turned back to the gigantic open doors. I hesitated again but finally gained the courage to step outside. I stepped onto a glass like floor and started walking until I was met by stairs. I began my descent.
It was not a long journey down,but when I got to the bottom I had been walking for a few minutes. I was met with a similar looking area from the games. There where fallen pillars,some intact others broken into bits. Arceus was waiting near the stairs and I quickly made my way over.
'Something is wrong?'
"No ,just,hesitant to see a new world."I said looking around once more."It looks like I imagined it. Fallen pillars,a cold mountain top,the similar designs on the floor of the flute and the triangle."I sighed
'IF you want we can go back.'Arceus said
"No I'm fine. I would actually like to go on."
Arceus nodded. Soon after she was engulfed in a white light. When the light disappeared what was standing in front of me was a woman. She had white hair and green eyes and wearing the same robes as before. I knew it was Arceus just without the significant details that would alert anyone else to her presence as a Pokemon god.
"Come let me show you my world we will start with a nearby city,im sure you know the name of it. Come we will take a faster means of transportation."Arceus said,actually talking instead of using telepathy. She then waved me over. I walked over closer to her and soon I felt my position change. I blinked once,twice and finally a third time and before my eyes the mountain top disappeared and was replaced by a forest setting.
I took a look around and noticed we where on the side of a small path that ended and started with roads. It only took me a second to realize we had teleported. I looked at Arceus and she turned to me. She nodded and gave another wave of her hand and started down the road.
I quickly caught up to her and walked at the same pace she was."So I assume we are going to Hearthome then?"I asked
"Yes it will be a good example to turn this into a more meaningful trip and show you my world and its inhabitants. But... IT was also never meaningless from the beginning as I plan all these things ahead the only way to find out if it would work though is if you had stepped out of the hall,which you did."
"So this is a meaningful trip then? Well what did you want to show me"I asked
"Nothing in particular,just a part of my world and a place you would recognize,and maybe have a bit of company."
I opened my mouth to say something but was stopped when I noticed we where exiting the forest area and walking straight into the city. The buildings started and I could see we had been walking for longer than I had realized as there where skyscrapers,shops and other buildings. There where also people,and to my excitement,pokemon.
I started looking around but did my best to stay with Arceus. We walked for a bit myself trying not to get lost. Soon though we stopped near a fountain where some benches where. Arceus sat down and motioned for me to sit as well. I took my place next to her and continued to look around. I had to admit I did recognize a little but everything else was completely new to me,It looked little to nowhere near the games,plus it was a lot bigger.
"Enjoying yourself?"Arceus asked me
"I guess its just this looks nothing like it did in the games,its also a lot bigger."I replied
Arceus nodded and stared at the fountain for a little bit before turning back to me.
"Would you like some ice cream? Or maybe something to eat? There is a good restaurant near here that im sure you would like."She said.I gave her a weird look and she just smiled and laughed."What? I come here often to get away from the pains of my role and its nice here."
"Umm ok I guess,maybe we can go get something to eat at that restaurant I kinda am hungry."I told her
Arceus smiled and stood. She soon motioned for me to follow and we made our way through the city. IT took a little bit but soon after a few minutes we where in front of a small building. It looked like what an Italian restaurant would look like back in my world. We entered and I looked around at the interior for a bit before I was interrupted by a man who I guessed was a greeter.
"Ah Ari I assume it will be a table for...Wait I see you have company today,will that be a table for two?"The man asked
"Yes thank you Theodore and its good to see you."Arceus said
"Likewise Ari."Theodore said back
Theodore then led us back into the restaurant and sat us down in a booth Arceus and I sitting across from each other. He soon handed us some menus and gave a small nod before walking away. I then turned to Arceus when he was gone.
"Ari?"I asked
"Well what did you expect I have to be a person or else someone will suspect. I even have registration and everything,Which reminds me I need to get you in the system too,but I don't just watch I participate too."
"Oh ok."I said before looking down at the menu. It took me little time to find out what I wanted to drink and eat and right when I put my menu down a woman approached us with a small notepad wearing an apron.
"Oh Ari Its good to see you again. Who's your friend?"The woman asked
"Oh this is Blake,hes new in town and I was just showing him around and we decided to get something to eat so I took him here."
"Oh well nice to meet you Blake im Makayla,anyways what can I get you two?"
We ordered myself getting a meatball sandwich and a soda and Arceus getting some pasta and water. Soon Makayla was gone and we sat there silent. It was Arceus who started.
"So how does everything look? I hope you like it."
I turned to her"Oh well everything is different,actually im still excited and nervous and everything seems so unreal as it happens."
"How so?"
"Well I always dreamed of something big happening to me,but that was just that,dreams but now im here and im being thrust into a new scenario."
"Well im sure it will go well,besides I'll look after you and im sure you will like it here,you just have to get used to it."
I nodded. We then continued with small chatter for a while before our food arrived. The food was good and not much else was said about that,we chatted about things that had no meaning and I felt myself warming up to Arceus. Soon we where done and Arceus paid and we left. We headed out of the restaurant and Arceus looked up to the sky for a second.
"I think its time we headed back,im sure the others are wondering. But I hope you had a good time."
I nodded but something was nagging at me and I couldn't shake it. But I tried my best to ignore it and follow Arceus out of the city to the clearing we had teleported into.
