#50 of Iron Dragon

Samantha and Alice made plans while Stacy and Jenny shredded on the half pipe Kenny made out in a huge drainage ditch. With a little new found confidence and control Stacy was having a great deal of fun.

"I thought you said you were no good?" Jenny asked as they watched a few others take their turn.

Stacy smiled. "I can't explain it. I don't look different, but everything just seems to flow better. Even my pool lap times are a little better. I had hit a wall and just could not get past it."

"It shows. You stand up a little straighter and your head is held a little higher." Jenny said with a smile.

"It's weird, but I feel more alive. Everything just seems to click, like I had been living the past twenty three years half asleep..." Stacy thought about it a little longer.

"Actually, that does explain it. Before I was half asleep, now I am wide awake and can take on anything." Stacy nearly cheered the last part loudly.

Jenny put her hand on Stacy's shoulder. "Good, then be my team mate next weekend."

Stacy turned to look at Jenny. "Team mate...?"

"Yeah, I don't like being solo. So board with me." Jenny said.

"Alright, it will be fun." Stacy said.

Nodrog had gone out on the roof after Roslyn left to get a few more errands done. Sherman had gone down to the gym to work out.

Nodrog could see a small crowd over at the snow filled ditch. Thanks to the collar Jenny was wearing her aura stood out like a small beacon allowing him to watch her quite easily. It also made it easy to listen in on her conversations with other people.

Since Jenny was mostly talking with Stacy, it was a less intrusive way to check on the little lion. There usually were some mental changes to accompany the physical changes. Covering up with a towel was not a usual response, of course a little more modesty might be a good thing. Closing the chapter on her father, would be an even bigger step forward.

"To what do I owe this visit, Eitak?" Nodrog asked. He smiled, since it would upset her that he knew she was there, without looking.

Eitak grumbled. She had only taken a single step, and had not made a sound as the snow muffled that single step. "We have actually solved the last little mystery. It did not take much before those two fairies were begging to talk."

Nodrog turned to look at her. "Oh, and what did you learn?"

"Nothing we did not all ready know, some are mad that you and Lilith got off with no punishment. However the council made it a point to reiterate the matter is closed. Along with the fact you are a typhoon and they will not be held accountable for your actions anymore." Eitak said as she walked the last few feet between them.

"I suppose it should be expected seeing as so many were against my creation. Next time I will not be so, nice." Nodrog said with a fang baring smile.

"That might just get them to leave you alone." Eitak said.

"Eitak, I am truly trying to change. I know it has not looked like it, but if they would leave me alone..." Nodrog said.

Eitak glared at him. "You change? Don't make me laugh. My brother might trust you. But you can bet I never will."

Nodrog matched her stare. "I am not asking you to trust me."

"Then what are you asking for?" Eitak demanded.

Nodrog and Eitak spun to look down at those in the snow. The group was almost to the building, so they had to look nearly straight down. Several shadows had appeared, causing everyone to scream. "How about help?"

"Agreed, that many cannot be good." Eitak said.

Jenny and Stacy were the only ones that knew what the shadows were. Jenny ran over to Lilith and Nightrunner who were assisting a wounded female. "What's going on?"

Lilith had tears running down her face. "They attacked us with no provocation or warning..."

Stacy pulled off her scarf to offer it for a bandage. "But why come here?"

"That's what I want to know." Eitak said as Nodrog teleported them down to the scene.

Nightrunner was injured as were the Hunters who came through the shadows with them. "Five of the typhoons. They attacked Lilith and her mentor."

"Why would they do that?" Jenny asked.

"To find the iron dragon." A large stone creature said.

Most of the humans had quickly retreated to the building. Jenny and Stacy managed to help the injured head that same direction. Seven monsters stood or floated in the air, Nodrog stood between them and the building.

"Now that you found me, what do you want?" Nodrog said.

"We have a little proposal for you." A flame elemental dragon said. The dragon was the largest. Bigger than most trucks, and nearly some aircraft.

"I will listen, however I am not very pleased with your actions concerning the little elf." Nodrog said.

"In any case. Are you tired of being their puppet?" The stone creature asked. He was third largest and very humanoid in most regards. Except he was made entirely of stone.

Nodrog was only larger than two of the seven. Eitak pulled Nightrunner to try and keep up with the others. She was thankful Jenny had convinced some of the other humans to help the injured. They were to close even inside if a fight did break out.

Jenny was helping with first aid, though she was not entirely sure how. Nodrog was using her to direct his magic into the injured person. That was the extent of her knowledge. "If they are looking for him, why did you bring them here?" Jenny said to Nightrunner, the panic rather clear in her voice.

"That was my fault Jenny." Lilith said softly. "I was scared, so I had the shadows bring us right to him."

"From the sounds of things, we should still be scared." Stacy said. They all watched as the short discussion turned to a heated argument. It seemed those with large amounts of power, did not converse with others very well. Or they all had short tempers.

Everyone of them screamed or yelled as three unleashed a devastating magic attack on Nodrog scorching and gouging the earth in front of them.

"Oh god... He's gone." Stacy said. None of them could see a trace of him.

A female anthro dragon walked over to them, but stopped right in front of Jenny. She would be very attractive if not for the obvious intent of her actions. She was brightly colored, yellows and oranges. "So you are his little slut. Kind of cute, for a human."

Jenny was frozen, she was to afraid to move as the dragon stood a scant foot away. The others had moved in closer as well, there was not going to be any escape for them... Except he was not dead.

The smile on the anthro dragon's face quickly faded, Nodrog was standing right behind her, she could see his glowing reflection in Jenny's frightened eyes.

The little dragon was not so brave staring straight at him after quickly spinning around to defend herself. "There is no way you could have survived..."

Nodrog had no expression on his face. He looked at them with empty eye sockets and his entire body glowed red to near white hot, like metal just pulled from a forge. The heat almost unbearable even considering the cold temp out. If he was in pain, he showed no sign of it. A rather unnerving calm and lack of any emotion hung around him.

"I think you will find, I am still your opponent, not them." Nodrog snarled. He grabbed the little dragon who screamed in pain. Her flesh instantly burning from his touch.

"He is still blind we can take him." An Elf said as he raised a weapon.

Nodrog smirked. "Catch." With that he flung the little anthro dragon at him so hard it knocked him back ten feet. She laid on the ground unable to move the stench of her burnt flesh lingering in the air. The way he had thrown her, he likely broke her neck or back.

"You will have to do better than that dragon. Those two are not on par with the rest of us." A Minotaur said, he was the second largest of the group and wielded a giant axe.

"Actually I was going to give you a chance to leave." Nodrog said with an eerie calm. He held out his dull red hand and arm looking oddly, thoughtful on the matter.

"You don't stand a chance even in your true form dragon." A large fur covered monster said.

"You think so?" Nodrog laughed. Not a normal laugh, this was truly insane. "Iron Rain!"

The typhoons and the other monsters tried to dodge the lances as they fell. The crippled dragon anthro was struck by four. Her twitching body caused Stacy and a few others to vomit.

Nodrog paid little attention to them as the iron lances fell like a light rain. He did not even glance up at the fire dragon who attacked him. The attack simply glanced up and away before even hitting him. So many people were afraid of what they saw; his absolute terror field was now impenetrable.

The large stone monster and Minotaur hurled his own lances at him, but they simply vanished before hitting him. "Come now, trying to use my own magic against me?"

The bitterly cold winter air finished cooling him down so he was no longer glowing. Depending on who you asked, some were relieved his vacant eye sockets began glowing. Others were a little more sickened by the glow coming from where his eyes should be.

The monsters regrouped and focused their attacks on Nodrog. Who smiled and laughed the entire time, unnerving most and making the typhoons all the more angry. Most of their attacks missed or apparently did him little to no harm. Adding in his own brutal counter attacks where he saw fit. The sound of breaking bones carried rather well in the cold.

Nodrog tore most of the large fire dragon's arm off before teleporting a little ways off. They were using a great deal of magic and physical energy to fight him. With Eitak watching, he was determined to give them the opportunity to leave. "Last chance to walk away."

The anger on their faces showed as he bounced lightly on his feet. Clearly, he had yet to use much if any of his magic or energy. "We do not run from a fight! Unlike you, coward!" The Minotaur bellowed.

Jenny and Stacy thought Nodrog looked a bit disappointed. Those monsters who claimed to be in the same category with him, were showing signs of fatigue. They were breathing heavy and those that did sweat were nearly drenched. Their injuries clearly visible, their blood staining the snow on the ground.

"I do not run. I was waiting for you to get serious..." Nodrog said distantly.

"Get serious..." The only other female of the group said. She was human in appearance, though she was seven foot tall and very well muscled. The woman dropped her weapons and fell to her knees. "That was everything I had... He is not even in his true form!"

They all looked to Nodrog, he had stopped bouncing. His disappointment in realizing they had no more to offer in a fight, showed a little. The glow in his eyes had faded since they had grown back. He was completely naked and did not appear to have a single injury or wound.

"Eitak." Nodrog said and looked over to the elf.

Eitak and Nightrunner walked out to him. As they drew close, it was clear he had not suffered any injury. With a wind chill of ten, Nightrunner figured. Super heating him like they had, followed by the quick cool down was foolish. That was the same thing a blacksmith did to metal to make it stronger.

"Take them away." Nodrog said and started to walk over to the building.

"Wait." The Minotaur said. Nodrog stopped and turned to look back at the giant. "There is no prison they can put us in to hold us. What do you think will stop us from coming back?"

"Because while many have seen my true form, you are forgetting one thing." Nodrog said.

"And what is that dragon?" The stone giant said. He had been the only one to not be bothered by iron rain. Actually he was the only one who looked like he could fight more.

"No one still living has seen Omega Weapon." Nodrog said coldly. Any fight or hope they had, died with those two words.

"I will be along shortly. I believe I have some explaining to do to Mr. October." Nightrunner said. How Nodrog could fight all of them, and heal the seriously injured hunters, using Jenny as a medium at the same time was something he could not explain. Always managing to reach down a little deeper into himself. 'How much more have you not shown?' Nightrunner thought as he went with Nodrog.

Nodrog teleported Nightrunner and himself to his room in their apartment, so he could put on clothes. It had become rather evident, his lack of clothing was a little distracting to many. He and Nightrunner joined Sherman in Mr. October's office.

"We should stop meeting like this Nightrunner." Marko said. The two were seated at the small table he had in the office.

"I had hoped our last would be it. They had been rather quiet of late, the young elf panicked when they attacked her mentor and herself. Seeking Nodrog out was the only thing she could think of. I must apologize for not seeing her reaction sooner." Nightrunner said.

Marko looked over to Nodrog. "He is somewhat of a double edged sword."

Nodrog remained calm, and less nervous than Sherman as they talked about him. It was rather common for people to talk about him, and not to him.

"Still, I am somewhat responsible for him being here. Seeing as it was my staff that released him." Marko said.

"I must say, the staff he is living with... They have done a very excellent job helping him change." Nightrunner said. A little smirk spread on his face.

"Why do you say that?" Marko asked.

"Before you would have had more property damage and dead bodies on your hands." Nightrunner said.

Sherman nearly shivered at the thought. Nodrog had gruesomely slaughtered the troops attacking Frank's team in the bone jungle. Marko had sent Kitty and Tabbatha out while the four of them talked. Dealing with one monster was tricky, several injured monsters and a group of over powered monsters... That was unimaginably difficult.

"Even if I was hibernating, Lilith still would have lead them to this world." Nodrog said.

Nightrunner leaned back. "I suppose you are right, if for no other reason than, in hopes they would have killed you."

"Trouble might find him, but it usually regrets it shortly after it finds him." Sherman said.

"Very true." Marko chuckled. "In his time here, he has only attacked without being provoked once."

"When was that?" Nightrunner asked.

"Not very long ago. In fact he even disobeyed orders not to go." Marko said, the smile on his face telling he said it in jest.

"Roslyn was grateful that I did." Nodrog chuckled.

Nightrunner smiled and laughed. "You have always been easily swayed by a pretty face."

"So you do have a weakness." Sherman said and elbowed him in the side.

"Not really, I only save those worth saving." Nodrog said.

Nightrunner looked over at Nodrog. "Does Omega Weapon have its own form?"

"Yes." Nodrog said and turned to look out the windows. "It is even more of a last resort then entropy."

The three could only sit in silence in light of that revelation. Sherman was the most concerned, after all he had seen Nodrog lose nearly half of his head... And did not draw on that power.

Nodrog kept his back to them. "Pray, you never see it."

Chapter.

Monday Nodrog headed down to Frank and Kathrin's shared office. They had rather high hopes. He found it a little amusing. He played along nicely since they asked him to help. It was interesting because he could tell they truly did appreciate the little help he could give them. There was the fact it kept his mind off of other things, which in a way was good.

"We really do appreciate the help." Kathrin said as they put away their notes.

"I am glad to be of some help." Nodrog said and pushed the chair he was sitting in back under the table.

"Did I hear correctly and you will be filling in for Catlin as Mr. October's body guard for the week?" Frank asked.

"You did. Today and Thursday are my only free days." Nodrog said as they left the office. Frank turning off the lights and locking the door.

"In our last meeting, Sherman had mentioned you and him were going to finalize security for the spring recovery." Kathrin said as they now headed to the elevators to their respective apartments.

"That is what I am doing Thursday. He just wanted a second opinion on the matter." Nodrog said.

Nodrog was a little surprised to find Stacy and Samantha in their apartment. Jenny was cooking dinner while the other girls sat at the table playing a game. "Good evening."

The four replied nearly at the same time as he closed the door behind him.

"I hope they were not too much trouble in their questioning." Alice said as she turned from the game.

Nodrog paused as he headed to his bedroom. "No trouble at all. They were genuinely interested."

Jenny dished the four of them up dinner, she almost gave the veggie burger to Stacy. Who questioned the burger's color and Jenny realized her mistake.

"That's better. I prefer meat between my buns." Stacy blushed as the other three laughed.

"I knew having the two of you over would be fun." Jenny giggled.

"Where did you go?" Samantha asked as Nodrog came back out of his bedroom.

Nodrog smiled. "To get something to drink."

"But I thought...?" Jenny asked quietly.

Nodrog gave her a kiss on the top of her head as he walked past. "It is considered rude to eat the host when guests are over."

Alice and Jenny shrugged it off. Stacy and Samantha both wanted to cover their necks with something.

"The guests need not worry about becoming dinner." Nodrog chuckled as he sat down on the couch and picked up the newspaper. He laughed to himself as the four quickly continued their conversation, forgetting he had come home. Still he was interested in how Stacy was adapting to her new body.

As a boy, Stacy had been very shy and reserved. As a girl, there was a very noticeable level of self confidence and a more outgoing personality. Before Stacy needed a little coaxing to do or try things. From the way she acted tonight, it was like the four had been friends forever.

Jenny had gotten Stacy to get over the last of her hang ups about her father as well. That was the last thing holding Stacy back in the past. Now like Nodrog had said earlier, it was time to only move forward.

Stacy stayed later then Samantha and the three girls joined Nodrog on the couch. Alice and Jenny of course taking one corner so Stacy was between Alice and Nodrog. The talkative suddenly gone from the cute little lion.

"What's with the quiet all of a sudden?" Alice asked a little worried.

Stacy blushed. "Well I never really thanked him for getting the potion in the first place."

Nodrog chuckled. "A simple 'thank you' is all I need. Besides I can tell how happy it made you."

"I really, really greatly appreciate it. 'Thank you' just doesn't seem right." Stacy said quietly.

"What would seem right?" Jenny asked.

"I don't know." Stacy said.

Nodrog put the paper down an put an arm around Stacy, pulling her close. "Don't spend too much time worrying about it."

"I could think of a few things." Jenny teased.

Alice swatted her thigh. "Bad kitty."

Stacy laughed with Nodrog and Alice, but that little push was all it took to put that thought at the front of her mind. She had wanted to wait until Randy was back in town before going all the way.

'You do not have to do anything' Nodrog silently said to Stacy. He gave her a little squeeze and let go of her.

Stacy looked up at him. "I know."

"When will Randy be back in town?" Jenny asked.

Stacy got up and stretched. "With the weather, who knows. He is stuck in a little town out in western Colorado. I had a lot of fun tonight. Thanks."

"Don't mention it. Have a good night." Alice said.

"See you all later." Stacy said with a smile as she left to go to her apartment.

Jenny got up and locked the door for the night. Alice went back to shower and get ready for bed. Nodrog caught her tail as she walked past. "Yes?"

Nodrog smiled and pulled her so she ended up on his lap. Jenny sighed as he put his arms around her and kissed the back of her neck. The emerald on her collar glowed softly as he slowly used the magic he had last time.

Alice stepped out into the hall just as Nodrog sank his metal teeth into Jenny's neck. Jenny's face was flushed and her lips slightly parted, a soft moan escaping her mouth. Alice quickly turned away as a wave of nausea came over her. It was the first time she had seen him drink blood, well blood from a person and not a bottle. She quickly retreated back to the bathroom to actually shower.

Tuesday morning Nodrog took one of his suits down to get cleaned and pressed for the party later in the day. Alice and Jenny both had a rather busy day ahead of them. Meetings and give a presentation at one of the museums later in the day.

He met Kitty an hour before they needed to leave to go over some other details. They both would be armed, as would all of the body guards at the event. Nodrog carrying both of their weapons under his suit jacket. Except for the very discreet carry double barreled .45 strapped to her thigh.

Nodrog eyed her as she pulled her dress down to conceal the weapon.

"What? It's a just in case, weapon." Kitty said. Missing the fact he was more interested in her lovely legs than the gun itself.

"I thought diamonds were a girl's best friend?" Nodrog chuckled as they waited in Mr. October's penthouse while he finished getting ready.

"While diamonds are lovely, they do not help carry one's point across as well." Kitty said.

Marko walked out of his bedroom and adjusted his bow tie. "I see we are ready to go."

"Yes sir." Kitty said.

"Very well. Let us go and have a pleasant evening." Marko picked up the floral arrangement and bottle of wine before they left.

A quiet and quick drive partway across town. One of the valets opened the car door for them. Kitty thanked him as he held her hand as she got out. Marko got out and Nodrog handed him the present before getting out himself. The SUV sitting a little more level without nine hundred pounds on one side.

The two body guards followed the respectful distance behind and to Marko's sides as they walked up the red carpet to enter the convention center. Several photographers took pictures and there were a few news crews out along the walkway.

"I had not expected so many people." Nodrog said as they walked up stairs and finally entering the building.

Marko chuckled. "This has grown into quite the event. It was just for business men, but has grown to include city officials and some celebrities."

Kitty laughed. "Don't tell me you have suddenly become shy."

"Not in the slightest." Nodrog said. Marko lead them over to a tall bald headed man and his wife.

"Quite the turn out tonight. I know you have met Kitty. Allow me to introduce you to Nodrog Balaur. This is our host for the evening Dr. Picard and his wife Melanie." Marko said.

"Pleased to meet you both." Nodrog said and bowed slightly.

After they exchanged pleasantries the three moved on to talk with many other people in the lobby. Nodrog managed not to fall back on old habits and spoke more then he usually would have at events such as these. He made a single glass of wine last nearly the fifty minuets they spent mingling before they sat down at their table.

"Isn't Balaur, Romanian for dragon?" Kitty asked after they had been seated.

Marko chuckled. "Yes it is, very good Kitty. It is rather strange to introduce someone and not give a last name, so I made one up."

"I had wondered about that." Nodrog said and glanced around the large room.

They shared a table with one other business man and his body guard and a single assistant. A man after Marko's own heart, in that he found most other people in this position stuffy and self-righteous. He was also a bit of an adventurer himself.

Nodrog figured Sherman and Jenny would have liked dinner, it was a fairly good sized prime rib steak with healthy amounts of side dishes. He passed on dessert. The few speeches and the presentation of the check was interesting. After that, there was more mingling and he finally heard the band start to play.

Kitty was a little surprised when Nodrog took the wine glass from her hand and set it down. She blushed as he kissed the top of her hand before leading her out to the floor.

Nodrog smiled. "I hope you did not forget."

"Actually I hopped you had.." Kitty said as he put a hand on her waist and held onto her other hand. After a few steps she was surprised by how well he could lead.

"This is much better than some of the noise Jenny and Alice listen too." Nodrog said as the two of them glided around. His comment finally got a smile out of her. She and Catlin were both attractive if you could get them to let down their guard. Given their line of work they had to be a little colder.

Kitty followed his effortless lead, and noticed many of the guests were only watching them. It had taken a little for her to loosen up to the idea. She had expected him to have the grace of a trackless tank, but he was light and quick on his feet. She was also surprised he managed to keep his eyes out of her cleavage. Aside from the glances around the room, he kept his eyes looking into hers.

They said little more, and simply enjoyed the music. Kitty had thought he was usually a little arrogant, but tonight that feeling was gone. Granted she had not noticed it when they were in Germany either. Maybe music helped him forget all the pain... By the time the evening was over, she wished they had danced more than just the two songs.

Kitty wished them a good evening and headed to her little apartment. It had been a late night since she just got home at one in the morning. They had to be ready to go again in six and a half hours. She tossed her dress across the back of a chair and set the gun on her night stand.

Nodrog was standing by one of the windows in Marko's penthouse when Kitty made her way up. She grumbled a little since she knew he had not slept and was not tired in the least. "Good morning. I set your sidearm on the coffee table."

"It would be a little better with a little more sleep..." Kitty spotted her firearm and put it back in her under arm holster.

"I made a strong pot of coffee for the three of you." Tabbatha quietly added.

Kitty smiled at her. "Thank you. Strong coffee should help."

Marko was leaning against the counter a cup in his hand and the morning paper in the other. "It will about wake the dead." Marko said as she poured herself a cup.

Tabbatha laid out the morning as they headed down to the SUV. Nodrog and Tabbatha clearly wide awake and alert for as early as it was. After a brisk walk to the first and second meetings Kitty and Marko were finally fully awake.

Once lunch came around they were feeling rather good. It made the afternoon pass by a little quicker. Having Nodrog along broke up the usual monotony, but she would be glad when Catlin came back. Not because she disliked him, but maybe was beginning to like him too much. Kitty knew he loved Alice and Jenny and it would not be fair to any of them if she were to get involved.

Roslyn was talking to Marko's secretary as they walked to his office. Kitty and Tabbatha envied the otter a little. Roslyn was considerably more free spirited in her life and her actions. The woman was in great shape and health, never condescending, but would let you know when you were wrong. Plus she was the only person other than Nodrog to directly refuse to follow an order Mr. October had given them.

"We were just talking about you." Roslyn said.

"Only good things I hope." Marko said with a smile.

"Always." Roslyn said with a smile. "I had wanted to double check on our schedule for next week."

"Good because there is going to be a change." Marko motioned for her to follow them into his office. He closed the door once they were inside. He walked over to his desk and pulled a file out of a locked desk drawer.

"I had hoped to finish the year without needing to send you and Sherman out. Sadly that is not going to be the case." Marko said and handed the thin file to Nodrog.

Nodrog opened it, inside were the profiles on two men. "And what did these two do, that normal troops cannot handle?"

"They have gone to work for a competitive company. Normal troops would not get very far if you took away half of the security that company uses." Marko said.

"One worked for my weapons division and the other worked for a constituent's biological division. They possess a great knowledge of things both companies are working on and have decided they could make more money if they sold their 'talents' to another company... One that tends to ignore rules and regulations concerning nearly everything." Marko said and sat down at his desk.

Roslyn glanced at the folder as well. "And their fellow countrymen's safety. Didn't they have an 'accident' a few years back... killed several thousand."

"That would be the same company." Marko said.

"When are we leaving?" Nodrog asked.

"Next Tuesday at the latest. We need to confirm their location first." Marko said.

Roslyn looked out the office window to the hangers. "That is going to be a long ass flight in that tank."

"Those arrangements are still being worked out. I do not have a facility in that country, but another gentleman does. Depending on the location, you will likely fly a smaller stealth craft. How is your VTOL skill?" Marko asked.

"A jet then... I should probably do a few simulations to brush up on it." Roslyn said as Tabbatha quickly typed away on her note pad.

"It would take a day to configure a simulator for that particular aircraft. As it stands one is not scheduled to be used the rest of the week." Tabbatha said while she typed away.

Tabbatha glanced up to look at Roslyn. "It will be ready for you Friday morning."

Roslyn just looked at the young girl. "Okay..."

Nodrog chuckled. "You will find we get extra special consideration for things in the Nightmare Calvary."

"For that I do not envy you in the slightest." Kitty said.

"That does lead to an interesting question." Marko said and got up to look out the window.

"What is that?" Tabbatha asked.

"What would you do, if you had all of his power?" Marko asked.

The three women looked at Nodrog. "All of his power?" Kitty and Tabbatha asked quietly.

"I would leave the world behind and explore the rest of the universe." Roslyn said with no hesitation.

"That is an interesting answer." Nodrog said and laughed.

Roslyn shrugged. "Why? I have seen most of this world, why not venture out and see others?"

Nodrog smiled. "Fair enough."

"I would go help those in need. Like a super hero that could heal people." Tabbatha said.

"That was the answer I had expected. What about you Kitty?" Nodrog asked.

"I don't know." Kitty said quietly.

Nodrog put a hand on Kitty's shoulder. "That is the best answer."

"Why do you say that?" Kitty asked as he walked over to the office door.

Nodrog smiled. "Because even I don't know what to do with all of it."

He bid them fair well and left the office. While he did not mind the company, the majority of the day was dull. Tomorrow would be a little shorter at least. Nodrog did a quick search for Jenny and headed down to the lab they worked in. When he got there the two were just starting to turn things off for the night.

"Did you just get done?" Alice asked as he walked into their office.

"I did. Next week Sherman and I will be out of town for a little while." Nodrog said. Jenny turned off the lights as he spoke.

"At least you will get to see Alice race." Jenny said as they left the office.

Alice locked the door behind them. "Speaking of this weekend, are you and Stacy going to do any practicing?"

"We were going to do a little tomorrow since the three of us have a short day." Jenny said.

"Sherman and I might have plans later in the day, I am not sure." Nodrog said they headed up to their apartment.

Alice and Jenny went to the kitchen to decide on dinner while Nodrog sat down on the couch and clicked the TV on. Normally he did not pay much attention to the news, but part of it peaked his interest. During the business portion of the news, they glossed over a company getting sudden influx of new personnel for a new project. The only reason it garnered any mention was the hopes of the company stocks finally rising instead of falling.

It pointed out an ulterior motive to have them go and... Kill them? Marko did not say anything on the matter of how they were going to deal with them. He doubted they would go to just take the two men back. Nodrog filed it to the back of his mind as something to look into tomorrow. After they ate, Alice and Jenny had made it rather clear they wanted him to play with them.

Chapter.

It was one of the things he liked about them, they did not give subtle hints. Alice had just taken the remote out of his hand and turned the TV off. Jenny had sat down on his free hand and leaned against him. Both of them had sultry smiles on their lips as they rubbed up against him.

Nodrog scooped them both up and carried the giggly pair back to his room. After he sat them on his bed, they showed how naughty they wanted to be. Alice and Jenny slowly stripped each other as they kissed. After the dull day he was not in the mood to be teased.

The girls got quiet the shock as they laid together, he ran his long tongue from one tail straight up to the other. Nodrog smiled as their legs parted more and they moaned as he kept his short snout and tongue on their wet little muffs. They were a little more surprised when he growled at them when they tried to pull away.

Alice and Jenny looked wide eyed at the other, he had never done that before. They had planned on being the ones guiding how the night went. Alice was used to Jenny and Nodrog being in control, but with Jenny not having any say in the matter it sent a little chill up her spin along with the excitement.

Jenny moaned from his more aggressive play and from Alice clawing at her back. Despite being on the bottom she humped her hips up grinding into Alice as his long tongue worked its way in and out of them both. She didn't know why but his normally hot breath felt even warmer against her bare skin. Which only made her already high libido go higher.

Alice and Jenny lay in each others arms breathing hard from their shared climax, and they began to understand why they were in his room. Nodrog ran his tongue along Alice's back, causing her to arch her back raising her hips up slightly. She moaned as he pushed his entire length into her, and pinning them both under him.

The way Alice had her legs and Nodrog had his arms, Jenny was stuck under them both. She looked up and his eyes were lightly glowing, a sly tooth baring smile on his lips. "Tonight my loves, you are all mine."

Jenny watched as Nodrog licked the edge of Alice's ear causing her to moan. Jenny didn't know what to think as Alice squeezed her tighter and moaned. He seemed to be enjoying making her to watch while he had Alice. Alice did not like being watched, but Jenny could tell from her breathing and moaning. That Alice was getting a little more from it.

Alice let out a loud moan as she came a second time. She squeezed Jenny tightly as his cum ran out of her and down onto Jenny. Jenny moaned in her ear as he pulled out of her and pushed right into Jenny. His thick cum clinging to the three of them now. He turned his attention to Jenny, leaving Alice pinned between them.

After Jenny came a second time they were both glad he let them untangle themselves. Alice sat on the edge of the bed and just as she was about to get up the bedroom door closed. Leaving the three in the dark, just the slight light of the night sky and the low glow of his eyes.

Nodrog gently pulled Alice back to him on the middle of the bed. He had a hold of Jenny with his tail and Alice could see the emerald start to glow. Nodrog kissed her lightly before whispering "You can't leave just yet little mouse..."

"Oh... okay." Alice whispered back as a sudden warmth flooded over her.

Sherman was not at all surprised to find Nodrog leaning against the wall near his new office door. He was not sure when it would ever sink in that he was in charge of all security forces on site. It was a double promotion, he got this position and the man who held it was bumped up to head of all other defensive operations.

"Good morning." Nodrog said as Sherman unlocked his office door.

"Morning. I got a short call about our trip next week." Sherman said as they entered the office.

Nodrog closed the door behind him. He then tossed the thin file on Sherman's desk. "Just those two men."

Sherman just glanced at the photos, then looked up at Nodrog. "I get the feeling something about this is 'off' to you."

Nodrog had taken his usual spot so he could look out the window. "You are right, there is something off about it."

Sherman actually read the file. Just from his tone, Sherman knew something was serious. "He never said we were to kill them."

"No, he didn't. However he never said what we are supposed to do with them. This seems a little drastic for someone switching teams for a pay raise." Nodrog said flatly.

Sherman leaned back in his chair. Nodrog had spent enough time with all of them he had picked up their slang terms. "Three years ago there was an 'accident' at one of their facilities. Industrial accidents are not wholly uncommon... Unlike most, this one killed more than the plant workers. It killed the eighteen thousand people in the town the facility was at."

"So this event was rather rare." Nodrog said.

"Yes very rare. Generally in such a catastrophe, governments get involved, news crews from all over the world go to cover the event. Except they were not allowed in, sighting lethal amounts of chlorine in the air. No one was allowed within thirty miles of the town or facility. The town sat in a valley so they simply would not let anyone in the entire valley." Sherman said.

"I am guessing that is not what really happened," Nodrog said and turned to look at Sherman.

Sherman shrugged. "No one really knows. Except even without a bio whatever degree I can tell you chlorine gas kills you really fast. It does not reanimate the dead or cause a person to just bleed out of every pore on their body."

"So what is fact and what is speculation?" Nodrog asked.

"Well besides the bleeding and walking dead are radiation poisoning, super flu... I used to think flesh eating monsters or aliens were the looniest of the rumors. After some of the things I have seen and experienced with you. Now I can't even rule the looniest of ideas out. All everyone knows is, it was not a chlorine gas leak." Sherman got up and stood next to Nodrog.

"While you were napping, the humans on this world concocted some truly horrific and mind boggling ways to kill ourselves. Poison gases, chemicals... hell we have prototypes for sound based weapons." Sherman said as they looked out the window.

"You do realize I was created by humans..." Nodrog said.

Sherman looked at him. "So you of all, should know the depravity of the human mind. The company they went to work for would make an army of metal monsters like you without giving a second thought to it."

"How do you know that?" Nodrog could tell Sherman was not lying about anything he said.

"Because before they axed the program, this company was trying to do the same damn thing. The only difference was we have a lab on the moon, so if shit happens, no one knows about it." Sherman grumbled.

"The thing is, myself and the guys you fought are the only survivors. And the odd part is, we are failures. All the others before us went bat shit fucking crazy. They locked the facility down and vented the portion with the crazies and a few innocent people to space. After our failures, they canned the project for the most part. Just running some tests and taking notes. I guess trying to figure out why we didn't snap like the others." Sherman said. He went back to his desk.

"Don't get me wrong, not all major companies are like that. Because the medical staff here have made giant leaps forward in healing the sick. With help from a group in the military side of operations they even have started producing artificial limbs, that they hook right in to a person's nerves. It's plastic and looks a little odd, but you can use it like it was your real arm or leg." Sherman said and leaned against his desk.

"What military value would that have?" Nodrog asked.

Sherman glanced over to him. "Power armor. With a couple of implants and a little training we could even put Stacy in a suit that would let her beat the snot out of me. Still in prototype stages, but a fairly good start. The main issue is balancing protection with mobility."

Nodrog laughed. "Stacy kicking your ass. I would pay to see that."

"Hardy har har. In a sense the most efficient killer, would be an equally efficient healer." Sherman said.

"That would be correct. So why do we need to intervene in this affair?" Nodrog asked.

"You would have to ask Mr. October. Now, about the thing we are supposed to be working on." Sherman said and pointed to a map on a large table he had in the office as well.

While Nodrog and Sherman went over plans. Stacy was singing quietly as she walked down to the lab Alice and Jenny worked in. "Hey you both look in good moods this morning"

"Fantastic moods." Alice giggled. They got up late, they got to work late, and they really didn't care.

"Oh, is it a secret or can you tell me?" Stacy asked.

"We got magic sex!" Jenny blurted out. She covered her mouth quickly after realizing she said that way to loud.

"Not so loud." Alice sort of scolded.

"Magic sex? I thought you both always had that?" Stacy asked a little confused.

"Well yes, it is always that. But this time magic was involved during sex." Alice said.

"Okay... I came down to see if we are going to practice today." Stacy really did not want to talk or think about fantastic sex with a monster...

"We only have paper work. I can handle it, you two go practice." Alice said.

Jenny gave Alice a quick kiss before pulling Stacy out of their office and to the elevators in record time. Giddy would be a gross understatement. Stacy was thankful out in the snow Jenny calmed down enough to focus on boarding. She also managed to not ask for any details about their night.

When lunch time rolled around they had worked out most of the things they needed too. They talked about a number of things, including the wedding and what they were going to get people for Christmas. Jenny had actually gotten all of her shopping done. Stacy had yet to even start, but this was the first year in a while she had someone to buy for.

"I suppose I should do that since it is next weekend. Maybe Alice could help me think of something to get Randy." Stacy said.

Jenny sipped on her tea. "Won't his surprise be..."

"It will be a surprise, but I wanted this, not for anyone but myself." Stacy said. Oddly they had taken the table Nodrog and Sherman always sat at near the windows.

"I would have thought they would have been up by now for lunch." Jenny said as she checked her watch.

Stacy giggled. "They are big boys, I am sure they will remember to eat lunch."

"I was going to ask if either of them remembered to get presents for people. They are guys after all." Jenny said.

"Randy told me he got me something. Is it silly to be this happy after such a short time together?" Stacy asked.

Jenny thought about it as she finished the last couple bits of her lunch. "I might not be the one to ask. Honestly Alice is the first person I really had a strong emotional attraction too. I was thrilled after just one official date."

"Neither of us like talking about our past... I had just figured I was the only one with no experience in the matter." Stacy said.

"You and I have more in common then you might think." Jenny said and leaned back.

"You used to be a guy too?" Stacy teased.

Jenny smiled but shook her head no. "I have always been female. However there was a time when I would have given anything to be a guy."

"No shit? I never would have thought that." Stacy figured Jenny had always loved being female.

"Totally true. My brothers could blow a game and still get more praise then I got for first place. I was better at everything, but they were boys so they could never do wrong." Jenny said.

"I am an only child. I often wonder if my life would have been better or worse if I had a brother or sister." Stacy said.

"I would say worse, but Alice and Sherman would likely say better. Lucy and Amber are the kind of moms I hope to be if we do decide to have kids." Jenny said.

Stacy leaned forward. "It won't take much to be better than our parents, that's for sure. So who would be the actual father?"

Jenny blushed at the question. "It would be a little weird if it was someone I knew. And hard to explain if Sherman or Wes wanted kids of their own. I get the feeling Alice is hesitant about being the biological mother. The hard part is finding a male with similar genetic and non physical traits as Alice."

"I get the feeling this is something you have put some thought into." Stacy said.

"It actually would be an easy choice if he could father children." Jenny said and played with the straw in her tea.

"Nodrog?" Stacy asked.

"Yes. He is incredibly smart, and enjoys the same kinds of things Alice and I do." Jenny said.

"I don't know if he would want to though..." Stacy said quietly.

"Why would you think that?" Jenny asked.

Stacy played with the part of lunch she didn't eat. "It seems to me, he does not like what he is. In over hearing things, he feels sorry for Sherman becoming immortal. Like he would not wish it on anyone... And I would imagine if he could have kids, they would grow up to be like him."

"Actually you have a point. It is easy to forget that he will still be alive after we are long gone." Jenny said.

Jenny and Stacy eventually got up and went back outside to play in the snow. Neither had urgent work to be done, and neither actually wanted to do any work.

Sherman and Nodrog had grabbed lunch at the club. Nodrog wanted to talk to Winston and Brian about next week's schedule. After lunch they went out to do a little gift buying and pass away the rest of the day.

"I know Samantha is not a big fan of diamonds, but isn't that the standard rock of choice?" Sherman asked Nodrog, and slightly annoying the man behind the counter.

"Alice had mentioned her friend Mike had used their birthstones for the ring he bought." Nodrog said.

Sherman thought about it as he looked down at the rings. "That would be a little more thoughtful."

"Does she have a favorite color?" Nodrog asked.

"Purple." Sherman said.

"Do you have any Amethyst?" Nodrog asked. The man behind the counter a little surprised he had not asked for purple rocks.

"We do have several. It is Februarys' birthstone." The older man behind the counter said. He walked down to another counter and pulled out a simple black tray and brought it to them.

"The ancient Egyptians believed it protected one from guilty or fear full feelings." Nodrog said as they looked over the gems.

"The Greeks thought it guarded against drunkenness and instilled a sober mind. Many have thought it also guarded against poison." The man said.

"So you are well versed in beer and gem stones... Anything else you would like to enlighten me in?" Sherman asked with a chuckle.

"If you want more gem stone advice I would suggest one of these four." Nodrog said and carefully moved four of them to the side.

Now the jeweler was a surprised as the man in the music store had been. "You do have a very discerning eye. I would agree those are excellent choices for an engagement ring."

"Precious metal and stones are a hobby of mine you could say." Nodrog said and turned to Sherman.

"Well, I am betting you picked those because of their quality... I really think she will like the vibrant color of this one." Sherman said and picked out the one he wanted.

"And a type of ring?" The man asked.

"Just this single stone in titanium." Sherman said and pulled out his wallet.

The man placed the stone on a tray and after Sherman picked out the style of ring placed that in the tray with the stone. "It will take a little longer to set the stone in the titanium then gold."

"That's okay, we need to do a little more shopping." Sherman said.

"And how would you like to pay for your purchase?" The man asked.

"Cash." Sherman said. He knew the price of the ring and pulled out several hundred dollar bills. The jeweler nearly dropped the small tray. The lady at the register was also rather stunned. Sherman paid for everything and they headed out to get a few more things.

"So do you know about things like that because they do interest you, or because they taste good?" Sherman asked with a chuckle as they walked down the sidewalk.

"They are from the earth, as am I. They are valuable for more than their rarity. They have special properties of their very own. Amethyst is also used to aid in healing. The reason for the emerald in Jenny's collar aside from green being her favorite color; it improves ones memory and eloquence. And it also quickens one's mind as well." Nodrog said.

"Depending on the color of the stone or their shade, they can support light or dark magic. The emerald in her collar is deep and rich lending it to easily using black magic. But still light enough, light magic can be used as well." Nodrog said.

"So the stone I picked would be similar?" Sherman asked.

"Yes, that is correct. However Amethyst supports healing magic very well. Which tends to be more associated with light magic." Nodrog said as they walked.

"So a few gems supports some things better than others. What about diamonds?" Sherman asked.

Nodrog chuckled. "Some believe it to be the most powerful, but they would be wrong. Sure it can use any light magic and protects against any number of things."

"But it does not do better than a gem that is more attuned to that task." Sherman said.

"Very good." Nodrog said.

Sherman lead him into another store. "All right what about titanium?"

"Actually that is a new enough metal, I do not know much about it. I would say since it is very strong, that you believe your relationship with Samantha is like the metal and incredibly strong." Nodrog said as Sherman stopped to look at a kitchen gadget.

"I managed to stump you on something. I am really trying not to ask you to poke in her head and see what she wants me to get her." Sherman said as he read the label on a machine he had not heard of.

Nodrog smiled. "How do you think I know what to get Alice and Jenny?"

"What the hell, no one said I can't do a little cheating." Sherman said with a toothy smile.

Nodrog and Sherman chuckled. Sherman looked over a few other things while Nodrog did a little searching for Samantha's idea of a perfect gift. "Well that was easy. She wants one of these."

"A spice rack... Well that was much simpler then I thought it would be." Sherman picked up one with spices already in it. "What are you getting the girls?"

"Jenny wanted some new high end knives, and Alice wanted some new pajamas." Nodrog said as they walked over to the cutlery section of the kitchen store.

"I suppose you know what they got each other?" Sherman asked.

Nodrog looked over a few sets. "Only to make sure I did not buy something they all so bought."

Sherman chuckled. "Does that mean you know what they got you?"

"That would take away some of the fun." Nodrog said.
