Iron Dragon Chapters 121-122
#60 of Iron Dragon
"I don't know what we should do." Evelyn said.
"I 'm all for accepting their help." Roslyn said.
Dagger looked at the older women carefully. "What makes you so confident that they really want to help?"
"Why would they stop and talk to us first, if they had other intentions?" Roslyn asked. "They clearly can move quickly here in the void, and only Mianth knows magic."
"I will have you know, I can also use magic." Evelyn pouted.
Roslyn looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "But can you fight with it?"
"No..." Evelyn said softly.
"Time here may not be real, but time on the other side is. We really need to be moving." Jenny pleaded. They could talk while they were moving.
"They both have good points, plus what happens if we are stuck here to long?" Evelyn asked.
Jenny turned back to Void Walker number one, as she now thought of him or her as. They had no actual names, anything past a generic label was useless drivel to them. They also were getting agitated by the solid one's pointless talking. Which is what they called those of the little miss matched group, except for Mianth. She was a dragon, and they respected dragons because they could change form.
"Given enough time spent here, we will lose our own form until we disappear or become a Void Walker ourselves." Jenny had skipped over the even more disturbing facts of what being here to long would entail. She wanted to spend forever with Alice, not forever here.
Mianth changed form. "I agree, we need to hurry. If too much time passes on the other side, they might think we are dead. Dragons tend to be rather overzealous when it comes to retribution. I do not want to think about what Dallarth and Nodrog would do, if they thought we were dead."
"Alright, lets go." Dagger grumbled, she knew better then to argue with dragons, even young ones. She gasped in surprise as one of the Void Walkers picker her up and headed off.
While the five females were carried, Faurl was a little big for a single Void Walker to carry. Eight of them showed up, two of them pulling the minotaur along by his arms. They still had no way of knowing how fast they were moving, or the direction.
Roslyn had been dead on, with her earlier comments. Alyvia had her four best armored warriors. Sherman had three super soldiers, with assault gear. Morgor was accompanied by two of his fiercest warriors. Derrain and Beatrice also had two of their strongest. Five typhoons, their strongest allies, all on the newest Velopian Cutter class warship. Alyvia and Eryk had convinced Sharn to lend the typhoons the ship.
Nodrog, rarely if ever left the bridge of the swift warship. It could out run nearly anything, and that was not counting the dragon navigator Tunrog. A none elemental dragon with lightning like speed and dexterity. Standing next to the iron dragon, he had a slight build and was shorter. With short and wild yellow hair, scales and eyes like jade. Easily excitable, which lead to him talking to fast.
Tunrog, was one of the few young dragons to look up to and admire Nodrog, now that he was awake once more. A point some elder dragons found aggravating, along with those who admired and looked up to Dallarth. His motivation for helping, was only to find Mianth. Who had caught his eye. Navigating the fastest ship in the Velopian fleet, was just his job.
Dallarth chuckled slightly as Tunrog headed to his quarters for the night. Judging from the look on Nodrog's face, he was grateful for the young dragon's bed time. "He is a good kid."
Nodrog grunted.
"It has been two weeks. I am growing tired of chasing rumors and hearsay." Dallarth said as she stood by his side.
"Even froze in hibernation or a dreamless sleep, we should be able to sense them." Nodrog grumbled and glanced at Dallarth. "He is a good kid, just chatty."
Dallarth smiled. "You have not had the pleasure of being around younglings and hatchlings. Everything fascinates them, especially those of us who they are told to avoid. You are the dragon even the heavens and the underworlds fear. Even the timid ones want to see and speak to you in person."
They watched as Alyvia gave instructions to the ship's commander. The beautiful Velopian had been put in charge of the overall operation. It was a point that did not sit well with everyone, but since it was mainly the Velopians supporting the excursion. They dealt with it since Dallarth and Nodrog were aligned with the Velopians. The ship's commander was still in command of the ship and all of its operations. The typhoons simply made their wishes known to the two Velopians.
While it was a technicality they were actually operating on, it allowed the Velopian crew more flexibility on where they went and how they got there. Beatrice and Morgor besides being typhoons, also happened to be the respective leaders of their race. Both were essentially King and Queen of their worlds, kidnapping their children technically was an act of war.
Nodrog and Dallarth did not even need technicalities to base their actions on. It was taking everything they had not to simply tear apart the universe. With each passing day, it was becoming harder for the two dragons to not simply change form and do just that. Omega was a constant voice in Nodrog's mind, and the two were nearly at the point of taking their nightmare form and literally ripping apart time and space to find Jenny and Roslyn.
Since Mianth held rank in the Velopian navy, her disappearance was considered deliberate hostel action. Allowing Dallarth and the Velopians to make inquiries, and it fell under the rights afforded by certain political consideration. Which got them so far, granted all Alyvia or the ship's commander needed to do was mention the typhoons were still free to do as they please... and that got them a little farther.
"We will reach the grays' home world early local time." Alyvia said as she walked over to them.
"These dead ends are getting old." Beatrice said as she walked over to them. Her face remained neutral as the Velopian respectfully bowed and showed a little fear. She smiled on the inside.
"The last group was a little more loose lipped then some have been. It is tedious, but searching like this has been getting us some results. They know we are united and that is not going to change." Nodrog said.
"Do you still think their plan was to turn you against the council or each other?" Alyvia asked.
"Unless they are trying to convince us it is one of their enemies. Being a pawn like that, is why I want us to be more than one hundred percent sure before we act." Dallarth said and glanced at Beatrice. "What do you think?"
"I have been thinking the same thing. I will be more concerned if we simply stumble upon them one day, than find them locked in a cell." Beatrice said and crossed her arms.
"Indeed, that would be a rather bad omen. It would mean they succeeded, or got what they wanted in the end." Nodrog said. They turned as Sherman walked over to them.
"Or it could be a trap, we have walked into a few of those." Sherman said in perfect Elf. Among the scrolls in the buried castle, Nodrog had found one that enabled teaching another person languages instantly. Of course Nodrog did not tell him where he had gotten it.
"That is what worries me the most about finding them openly some place. I dislike the thought of it, but perhaps once we find them. We take them to the sick bay and have them checked out." Beatrice said.
"That is not a bad idea. With the technology and magic some races hold, they could become time bombs and not know it." Sherman said.
It still unsettled the others that the magic and computer translators could not interpret dragon speech. They did not know only blood slave collars were capable of such a feat. Only Nodrog and those dragon's with blood slaves knew that small fact, and they all kept it that way. The collars kept the slaves from telling anyone they could understand every form of speech and sign language. There simply was no place Jenny or any other blood slave could go, that they could not communicate with someone there.
Morgor and Derrain were confined to a smaller section of the ship, given their size. Neither of them minded, and thought the Velopians rather noble to volunteer a brand new ship. The two giants spent most of their time playing a strategy game or discussing other matters, besides the one at hand. None of them were known for being calm and hard to anger.
Nodrog remained on the bridge while the others called it a day. They all raised good points, and with the little clues they have found. All were still a possibility. Unfortunately they had several major points they shared opinions of. None cared for the monster council, they all spoke out against the same things. With the exception of his two alternate forms, they were quite similar in many regards.
Only two of them ruled. Beatrice was the weakest, while he was the most powerful. Derrain was one of few stone giants, who cared little for politics, war and anything not nature related. Dallarth was the one he could not place, if you removed her, each one of them was the most powerful of their race. Three of them were rather influential, and had the most enemies who would want them removed.
He and Dallarth, held no title or position among dragons. The elders looked down upon them. While the others did not shun them, they were not exactly treated as equals or welcomed with open arms by all dragon kind. Mianth, Tunrog, and Inilth were some of the exceptions.
Nodrog took a quick shower and changed before they landed on the perpetually cold and dull world the grays called home. They disembarked and headed to the government building. He greatly disliked the grays even more, now that he stood on their industrialized world. The life and magic nearly drained from it.
"Something wrong?" Dallarth asked as Nodrog stopped suddenly and looked around.
"Thought I heard something." Nodrog still heard them, faint unidentifiable whispers. It concerned him, since Dallarth did not hear them. That only meant they were in his head, and that was troubling.
The Void Walkers set them all down... Well they quit carrying them. In front of them was a colossal incoherent mass of black tar or sludge. "This is it? The nightmare of nightmares is a big black blob?" Evelyn asked as they floated near it.
"Not what I was expecting." Faurl said.
Mianth had expected something else as well. After carrying them here, the Void Walkers left. With her nerves on edge and her heart racing, she went over to the black blob and slowly reached out to touch it.
The sludge rippled outward from her touch, it's movements hastened and Omega Nightmare had solid form once more. Its rancid, wheezing breath, light and shallow like it was sleeping.
Dagger glared at Evelyn when the flower maiden hid behind Faurl. She turned her attention to the living siege weapon. Gun, cannon and artillery barrels sat in rows along both sides and along it's back. "It still is not what I expected."
"This was the form it took when I called it forth. I suppose since I was the last to summon it, it took the same form after I touched it." Mianth said, she was nearly nauseous this time, the stench over powering. And the liquid sounding breathing, it sent a shiver up her spine.
"Well, how do we wake him, without being eaten?" Roslyn asked.
"Yell at it?" Jenny asked.
Nodrog stopped again. They were still being lead around to different grays, getting the political run around. Something was off and not just the voices in his head. None of them could read the grays minds, and aside from Derrain and himself, they all were wearing air tanks to breath.
"What's wrong dragon?" Morgor asked.
"I hear them. It is faint, but I hear all of them." Nodrog said and looked around.
Sherman and Alyvia's forces readied arms as Nodrog covered his face with both hands and howled in pain. They all heard something else in that howl... something evil.
"It's a trap, a dozen war ships just uncloaked over head!" Alyvia yelled after the ship commander had told her that fact over the radio.
Dallarth grabbed the closest gray. "Tell us where they are!"
Nodrog fell to his hands and knees, his head hurt as he saw two different worlds. The real one he was on, and the void where he now saw them. "Jenny... Where are you?" Nodrog and Omega nightmare asked.
Evelyn grew even more pale as the nightmare spoke in that horrible hissing, gurgling voice. Ever thankful, Mianth did all of the talking.
"Don't waste any more time asking us questions. Just take us back!" Dagger yelled.
Nodrog managed to focus on the grays and of all people Eitak, as they walked over to them. "In the end it was you..."
"All of you brought this on yourselves. Both the mortal and monster council have decided you will either surrender completely, or be annihilated." Eitak said.
"No... We won't let you... Forced retreat!" Omega Nightmare howled. Nodrog's body had turned to sludge and those with him now and in the void were instantly teleported onto the Velopian ship. His form changed instantly, forcing its way out of the building and causing the rubble to rain down on those standing below.
On the ship Tunrog yelled to prepare for surface to orbit jump. The six who had been kidnapped lay lifelessly on the deck. The Velopians and humans rushed to their side and began to perform CPR. The four typhoons only watched in horror as the mortals did everything they could.
"Please Mianth, come back..." Dallarth cried as she held the young dragon's cold hand.
"Breath god damn it!" Sherman yelled as he performed CPR on Jenny. Her eyes finally focused and she rolled over and vomited.
All six sucked in deep breaths for the first time in weeks. They were starving and weak, but they were alive.
Roslyn coughed and sat up. "I need a beer, and someone is going to get an ass whoopin... I really don't give a fuck what order they are in."
"Alyvia! The ships are now targeting us, we are leaving." The ships commander said over the PA system.
"Not without Nodrog!" Dallarth shouted.
"He's dead." The Commander said. The crew on the bridge had a hard time believing it themselves. The twelve ships had fired massive orbital strike cannons and the grays had planted nuclear bombs around the area.
Omega Nightmare lay on it's side, heavily damaged and melted. Part of it glowing brightly from the heat of the attacks. It showed no signs of life... not that it showed signs of life when moving aside from the rancid wheezing. It looked damaged and decayed before it had been attacked, so it was hard to tell. The attack had leveled the entire area, and killed the grays who had been left behind.
"And we are the monsters?" Beatrice asked. They had made their way to the bridge.
A screen changed to show Eitak and the Gray Commander. "We have you locked on. Hand over the typhoons and you will be allowed to go free." Eitak said.
"Sir?" One of the crew said.
"Tunrog is ready to jump at any time. That does not guaranty my crews safety." The Commander said. He turned to face the two typhoons who stood on the bridge.
Beatrice and Dallarth smiled. "You should check your sensors again Eitak." Dallarth sneered.
The universe itself seemed to shiver as Omega Nightmare slowly stood up. It looked like hell, and most of the weapons it carried were melted and useless at the moment. The giant navel guns deformed from the heat. But it was standing once more and turned its faceless gaze to the sky.
"Tunrog, can you here meee?" Omega asked.
The young dragon had taken his true form and was prepared to teleport the ship to safety. Everyone was surprised to hear Omega over the ship's communication system. "Yes. I hear you."
"Very good. Thisss one orderss you to take them home." Omega hissed.
"Belay that order! You are not to teleport anywhere!" Eitak yelled.
"Sssilence elf!" Omega roared. Causing them all to cover their ears. The nightmare had connected to all ships in orbit, enabling it to communicate with everyone at once.
"You will do as I sssay! They will leave un harmed or I will blow you out of the sssky!" Omega screamed.
"Tunrog, get us out of here!" Dallarth yelled.
"Yes ma'am." Tunrog said, quickly focusing and teleported them to Morgor's home world, only because it was the first one to come to mind.
Eitak trembled in anger as the ship blinked out of existence. "How dare you..."
Omega nightmare simply laughed. "Thiss isss your only warning. Lay a finger on any of them... Thiss one will endlesssly hunt you down."
The gathered force watched with baited breath as Omega Nightmare walked off a short distance before completely disappearing. They had attacked the second most feared typhoon, and for some reason, they were still alive. It took a little while before anyone on those twelve ships breathed.
Nodrog had teleported to his quarters on the ship so he could get dressed. He walked out and down to the sick bay to check on Jenny and Roslyn. All of them were sitting in the large room.
Beatrice and Dallarth eyed him carefully. "What happened?"
"We won and did not fire a shot." Nodrog said and walked over to Jenny and Roslyn. He pulled them both close, and gave each a kiss on the top of their head.
"How did you wake Omega up?" Dallarth asked.
"Mianth shot me in the face with her most powerful ice spell..." Nodrog grumbled and glanced at the little water dragon.
"It was Roslyn's idea!" Mianth yelled and hid behind Dallarth.
"Only because my .44 didn't have enough punch." Roslyn muttered.
"It does not matter. They are all safe." Beatrice said and held her daughter tightly.
"My thoughts exactly." Nodrog said. Not annihilating them had to be the hardest thing he had ever done.
"What happens now?" Jenny asked.
Derrain chuckled at the comment Evelyn whispered in his ear. "You might be onto something."
Morgor and Derrain were sitting on the floor, it was hard to get in the large room. "Oh, do tell."
"We do something they will never expect us to do. We ask both councils to apologize to them." Derrain said and chuckled a little more.
Nodrog laughed. "I like that. That would be utterly humiliating to the monster council."
"Indeed, humiliating those pompous fools would be fitting." Dallarth said.
"That's fine an dandy... But how about some food and something to drink with alcohol in it?" Roslyn asked.
Chapter.
Morgor extended an invitation to eat at his large castle on the Minotaur's home world. It also allowed them to get off the ship without the need for masks or breathing tanks. Which had been the case the last three planetary stops except the two elementals.
"Oh solid ground, how I have missed thou so..." Jenny said with dramatic flair. She never thought she would miss dirt so much.
"That's no joke." Roslyn said as they walked along a stone path from the ship to the castle. They predominantly came across Minotaur, but there were other races present. The castle while obviously medieval in design and architecture, was clearly made of modern of materials. Towering above the surrounding city with large windows and even small landing pads further up.
Roslyn and Nodrog both noticed those they came across were greatly relieved Faurl had been found and that Morgor had not given into the council's demands. "I guess they did not ask his people about the matter." Roslyn said and glanced up at Nodrog.
"It does not look that way. You missed the argument, but Morgor, Beatrice and Derrain had wanted me to join them in ceding from both councils." Nodrog said.
"Why did you refuse?" Dagger asked.
Nodrog sighed. "I was and I am still not fully informed of everything going on. Dallarth has gotten me a little up to speed on things. But too much has happened in the four hundred years I was sleeping."
"It has crossed my mind a few time since meeting Dallarth and you. But why do you both remain subordinates to those of inferior power and strength?" Alyvia asked. The sharp clack of her hooves drowned out by the metal and stone monster's heavy footsteps. Ferale, Sephya and herself were not wearing armor today, but were in their simple dress uniform. Which did little to cover their hind quarters.
They all listened as Nodrog and Dallarth explained why they had no land to call their own, and why it will stay that way. Mianth offered a similar, though considerably less violent, point of view. Since she abhorred violence and war, but like the other two, had no want or desire to lead.
It was the humans who were the quietest of the group... Aside from Jenny who talked endlessly with Mianth. Sherman, his soldiers and Roslyn were trying to make a good first impression. Since they were the first mixed anthro human, human race to venture to space. Well that and Marko had told them to keep the jokes and bad language to themselves as much as possible.
Roslyn however was... Polite, but not anymore then normal. To the more warrior races of Minotaur and Amazons, she fit right in. Respectful without bowing down to anyone, including dragons or typhoons. Her quick wit, honest and feisty nature were points the two warrior typhoons liked.
Sherman had won points for knowing a non earth tongue. His Halfling status was not looked down upon, and as a warrior that did put him at a higher level then Jenny. They like the Velopians were in dress uniform on the Minotaur home world. They also all had a side arm at least. Morgor had no qualms about warriors being armed. He believed a warrior with no weapon was heresy.
Now that they were inside the castle, Sherman saw just how much he believed in that point. As all of the warriors were in fact carrying a side arm of some type, an elegant sword, a more purposeful sword or even large knives. He was not sure if an actual pistol was a status symbol, or was just not a popular choice. It was a two class system he figured, those who were warriors, and those who were not.
Then there was Jenny. She could see and hear what the warrior culture thought about her. Morgor had not said anything about it, but Jenny knew she was the lowest ranking person of the group. They had no blood slaves, so she did not have to follow those rules but she was a slave.
Jenny was however thrilled Nodrog had Stacy pack a bag for her and Roslyn. Clean clothes, and bathroom supplies were rather welcomed. And it showed how determined and confidant in finding the two of them he was. Seven star systems and beyond, just to find them... Her family never looked for her the two times she ran away, once to her grandparents house just to prove a point.
It was an easy task for the staff to cook up a feast. While a few things were completely new, several just had different names. Much to Jenny and Roslyn's delight. Sherman and the three carnivore soldiers with him, ate anything put in front of them.
"You alright Roslyn?" Sherman asked. She had coughed after drinking something with alcohol in it.
Roslyn tapped her fist against her chest. "Just caught off guard. First time someone told me it had some kick, and it really did."
Morgor chuckled. "We do have some with a little less 'kick' as you put it."
"Oh, I'm good now. Cheers." Roslyn said and held up the beer stein.
"Indeed." Morgor chuckled and raised his own.
Roslyn had one of the necklace translators, it actually worked in the castle and on the ship. They had found out it would work anywhere that held attuned magic, which was why it did not work on earth outside the ship. Mianth had figured Jenny's collar translated the entire time they were in the void. Though she did not know how, Nodrog and Dallarth both had some speculations. Being a life or death emergancy being the leading reason on their list.
Sherman and Alyvia had the electronic translators as well as those accompanying them. Since much of the speaking was done in elf, it kept things simple. After the delectable meal, the typhoons, with Alyvia, Sherman and the ship's Commander made plans.
Mianth took Jenny and Roslyn back to the ship so they could sleep. Nodrog had insisted they use his quarters for the trip back home. Roslyn was less nervous about sharing the huge bed then Jenny. Which the otter found amusing.
Both fell asleep quickly. Neither having pleasant dreams... Roslyn was startled awake after three hours by Jenny screaming and flailing her arms. Something about Void walkers and sludge...
Roslyn put her arms around Jenny and gently rocked her. "It's alright... Calm down..."
They had left the lights on their lowest setting. Roslyn looked around the room, but did not see anything. Jenny's light snoring telling her, she had fallen back asleep. After Jenny calmed down a little more Roslyn fell back asleep herself. The young lady still in her arms.
Nodrog and Dallarth watched from a balcony as Sherman, Alyvia and their soldiers walked back to the ship. "We will need to keep a close eye on them. Two weeks in the void... Is a long time." Nodrog said as he turned back to the others.
"Yes, your slave and the flower maiden will be the first to show any signs." Derrain said.
"Mianth should be the least likely to be affected. I know she was afraid, but the others might have been lost without her quick thinking." Beatrice said.
"Her heart, is her greatest strength. I know you both keep tabs on the councils, they must have carried this out in the strictest of security." Dallarth said.
"Since neither of us, have sent people to be on the mortal council, they tend to keep us in the dark about many things. The monster council as you know, does not allow typhoons to be on it. When the odd vacancy does open." Morgor said.
"After this little stunt, I might look into it... I do not like being told how to rule my people though" Beatrice said.
Nodrog crossed his arms. "That still cannot be the reason behind it. Dallarth, Derrain and I do not rule people or hold worlds."
"No but the three of you hold considerable sway over many people. Pardon the interruption. Since my eyes had been drawn elsewhere during this, I hoped you would grant me council with you." Nightrunner said as he walked out onto the balcony with the five typhoons.
"Your sister seemed to know what was going on." Morgor said and watched the elf carefully.
"Indeed, I only figured out something was amiss, when she returned home. Rather frightened, like she had looked death in the eyes... Or rather death's faceless gaze." Nightrunner said looking at Nodrog.
"She, and many others looked into the eyeless face of omega nightmare... And they lived to talk about it." Nodrog said.
Nightrunner crossed his arms. "Except they are not talking about it. No one is talking about that incident. I need to know what happened."
"What makes you think we will trust you?" Dallarth asked.
"I have always cautioned the council about dealing with all of you. It may not always look it, but I have never taken sides. As I said, my eyes were diverted on other matters, which as it happened was capturing two of your imposters." Nightrunner said.
He explained that finding the two was rather easy, since they talked about it a great deal. Asking them for further information, netted him the same results as Nodrog and Dallarth. Nothing.
Nightrunner listened intently as each one spoke in turn. All of them had at first believed they had been the ones to commit the crime. Until Samantha pointed out, they had been fooled. Perenth and the human placed part of the puzzle together, the typhoons had figured out the rest. But all of them were still not seeing the whole picture.
"I am relieved to hear how well you are handling the situation, given what they did to all of you. Actually, my own daughter Nazrin is looking into the matter, unofficially. Her and my own involvement has to be kept quiet." Nightrunner said.
"Then we will simply stay our course of action for now. The fact they fired on us, and we did not retaliate should solidify our standings." Morgor said. They all agreed with him, and they all silently agreed that gutting the lot of them, while enjoyable, was not the best course of action... For now. They would still consider it depending on how things went.
With a course of action set, and letting Nightrunner know if he or Nazrin had any trouble, they could come to any of them; they adjourned for the evening. The ship needed a few supplies and Tunrog needed at least a day's rest before he could make the next jump.
Nodrog had also pointed out to Sherman and the three soldiers were getting paid to sight see. A paid vacation, was not a terrible thing... Except for Roslyn, the rest of the humans were looking forward to returning home. Still they all were thrilled with the fact they had gotten the chance.
Tunrog blushed as he knocked a second time on his own bathroom door. He had wanted to be with the typhoons longer, but they had matters to discuss. Topics the mortals and him should not know. He had the second largest and lavish quarters on the ship, and it was more accommodating for dragons, than other rooms.
The navigator's quarters were arranged to help with recovering spent magic energy. Feng Shui, being the earthen term for it. They were sharing quarters at the moment, and Mianth had gone into the bathroom for a lengthy bath.
As Tunrog slowly opened the door he found out why it had gone longer then she had suggested. Mianth lay in the large tub sleeping peacefully, few of the bubbles remained. Tunrog blushed as he looked down at her. Both from embarrassment in not taking his eyes off her naked body, but also from finding her arousing.
Tunrog quickly turned and knocked over a few bottles he had in the bathroom. He caught three of the four. The fourth just slipped from his quick grab and landed with a heavy thud. He glanced back at Mianth, who's pretty turquoise eyes slowly opened.
Mianth glanced at the clock he had hanging in the bathroom. After realizing how long she had been in, she quickly woke up and instead of covering up embarrassed, she stood and reached for a towel. "Oh I'm so sorry I must have fallen asleep."
"It's okay." Tunrog said and looked away as she got out of the tub.
Mianth stopped as Tunrog fumbled to put the things back, his speech quickening. They had know each other for a hundred years, and were the second group of dragons to go through navigation training. She had pulled a bathrobe on, but had not yet tied it.
Tunrog was handsome, and had limitless enthusiasm for everything. Funny how she had not thought of him as a mate until standing in his bathroom naked. She pushed her nervousness aside and walked over to him. She giggled softly since he would not even look up in the mirror at her. "It means a lot, that you came with them to look for me."
Tunrog blushed deeper and talked even quicker as Mianth stood close to him. His mind, heart and mouth were all racing. All three stopped in what seemed like an instant as Mianth put her arms around him and rested her head on his shoulder. After a deep breath he turned to face her. "I had to look for you... I just wish I could have done more."
Mianth smiled as his eyes widened as her bathrobe fell to the floor. "I can think of something more you can do..." Mianth said softly and kissed him.
It took a moment for his mind to comprehend what was happening. After the initial shock he put his hands on her sides and pulled her closer. Her soft skin already flushing and the sweet smell of lilies filled his nose. He followed her as she lead him by the hand to his own bed.
Mianth crawled to the middle of his large bed and flicked her tail playfully as he quickly removed his own clothes. Much like her own bed, it was large enough for his true form. He lay on his side next to her, they kissed again as his hand ran gently across her side, before pulling her close once more.
Soon she found herself on her back as Tunrog kissed his way down her lovely body. Surprised that he too, kissed other parts of her body. And though Tunrog was younger then Nodrog, he was not inexperienced it seemed as she quickly became more and more aroused.
Mianth's low clicking growl along with her very flushed skin, removed the little nervousness Tunrog had. Humans were not the only ones with certain, hang ups when it came to sex. Besides her sweet smell, she had a pleasantly sweet taste. Between the two it had made him a little light headed, and he didn't care.
Mianth's soft growl quickly turned to a loud moan as she climaxed. Tunrog lightly teased her flushed and sensitive skin with his fingers as he moved up the bed. She put one hand on his neck to pull him down to kiss her as her other hand helped him. She moaned as he pushed into her.
As their tails intertwined Mianth was surprised how easy it was to keep from comparing Tunrog to Nodrog... The fact she had never mated before and now did it twice in one year, caused her a little confusion. This time her body and mind were mostly in agreement, unlike her first time.
Mianth put her arms and legs around Tunrog as she stopped thinking and let what she was feeling take her away. His skin was also slightly flushed and despite his smaller build, he was still quite strong. They mated until late in the evening, falling asleep in each other's arms.
Nodrog stayed out of his quarters the entire evening and morning hours. He did not want to disturb their sleep. They were nearly finished loading supplies and getting the ship ready to depart in a few hours time.
"Have you seen Mianth or Tunrog?" Dallarth asked as she and Alyvia stopped him in a hall.
"No, I have not seen either one this morning." Nodrog said.
"Strange, they are not ones to sleep in late, but we did not get an answer when we checked his quarters." Alyvia said.
"I am sure they are around." Nodrog said.
"Have you checked on Jenny and Roslyn?" Dallarth asked.
"Just on my way." Nodrog said with a smile. He watched the two walk off before heading to his quarters. He had an idea why no one had seen either navigator this morning, but it was not his place to say anything.
Nodrog entered a four digit code and the door quietly hissed open. A press of a different button on the inside closed and locked it once more. The lights were still on their lowest setting. The soft rubber like floor completely muffled his footsteps as he walked over to the large bed.
A smile crept across his face as he found them sleeping soundly. Jenny was curled up in a tight ball on her side. Roslyn was laying right next to Jenny with her arm around the kitten. "Now that is cute..." Nodrog said mostly to himself.
Roslyn yawned and opened her eyes. She spotted Nodrog checking something on the computer terminal he had in the room. She sat up and glanced down at Jenny, who was still snoring lightly. She did not even have to try and be quiet as she got up and padded over to Nodrog.
"I didn't wake you?" Nodrog asked as she reached out to touch him.
"No." Roslyn said and looked over his shoulder. To her, the words onscreen were an unreadable mess, Nodrog seemed to have no trouble reading it.
"This is the medical report on Jenny and you. How do you feel?" Nodrog asked as he continued to read.
Roslyn thought about it and absent mindedly scratched herself. "Still pretty tired, but I feel alright. Nothing a snack and a few more Z's can't fix."
Nodrog turned from the report and looked her over carefully. "The two of you have been sleeping for eleven hours already. Are you sleeping okay?"
Roslyn crossed her arms and had her not amused face on. "I'm a big girl. If I say I am fine, I am fine."
Nodrog smiled and pulled her close. "Just making sure. I was worried about the both of you."
Roslyn blushed as he gave her a little squeeze. It was getting harder to resist his charm. "Jenny woke me up kicking and screaming, she was still sleeping. Must have been a bad dream."
Nodrog looked over at Jenny. "She has a vivid imagination... Any trouble with your own dreams?"
"I wouldn't call them bad, just a little troubling." Roslyn said. She started to turn and pull away, but he didn't let go. "Do you mind?"
Nodrog chuckled. "I don't believe I said I was done with you yet."
"Oh?" Roslyn asked as he kissed her neck.
"I have to check you over, personally. I like to be thorough..." Nodrog said softly as he removed her tank top.
Roslyn moaned as he lowered his head to her breasts. His tail tugged her shorts off, and now she was naked before him once more. He effortlessly picked her up and took her over to the couch. Where after setting her down, went between her legs, his tongue snaking inside of her.
He seemed to be enjoying her attempts at being quiet as he went down on her. She didn't think it was funny. He chuckled while she covered her mouth with both hands to muffle her moaning. It took her back to flight school and trying not to wake up her roommate while getting some from a fellow student. The fact Jenny might wake up added a naughty little twist and Roslyn shivered as she climaxed.
Nodrog only smiled as Roslyn glared at him. "Damn it are you trying to get me to wake her up?" Roslyn asked in a hushed yell.
"No, but it is fun. I'm not sure what you are so worried about." Nodrog said softly and kissed her. "After all she keeps offering to do it with you."
Roslyn moaned as he moved just enough to push his length into her. She still tried to keep from vocalizing her pleasure to loudly as he took her. He really was a great fuck, and it didn't matter where. Half way across the damn universe, on a world she couldn't pronounce, just as good as back home in her own bed. He did not let her go until she had two more orgasms.
