Leave Time
It was raining outside as the rain hit the window, making a pattering noise, the bat lay in her bed as she turned around. The sheet covered her body outlining her voluptuous curves. Her eyes twitched rapid as he mouth moved the plump limps moving to form sentences.
She shot up second later screaming as her hand went in-between her chest. Her heart was pounding fast as beads of sweat began to move down her body. She removed the covers and walked to the bathroom looking in the mirror.
"One year Sam." She said crying as she moved to the closet and pulled out a shirt. Her nose went to it, like it was a magnet pulling her in, she inhaled the scent that was now fading from her apartment which only brought more tears. She fell onto the bed hugging the shirt as she fell asleep.
"Well Jack here you are Springbluff apartments. So tell me what is it like to be a week away from leaving this life." A wolf in full army uniform the badges on his shoulders showed that he was Sergeant.
"After two ToD's in Iraq and four solid years of Active duty pretty god damn good Jeff." Jack responded as he walked out the door to get another box.
"Gonna miss you Major not many people on base really like me." Jeff said smiling.
"Cause your all about business and your going to rise in rank fast for that." Jack said smiling the black lips that moved against his orange fur into a revealing smile only added to the certain charisma he had.
"You can finish this by yourself right?" Jeff asked looking at him.
"Ya, you should defiantly head back." Jack said looking at him.
The wolf just gave him a salute and then shook his hand. He had one box left to go anyways. He walked through the door and set the box down on the furnished table pulling out a picture of a young fox smiling and a bat standing next to him.
Jack just smiled as he put it up on the counter. He smiled "Leave time got to love it." He said falling back on his couch and smiling. His eyes closed as he fell asleep.
Jack was woken up by a tapping on his door. He jolted out of his sleep "Coming..." he said in a groggy voice rubbing his eyes. His balance slightly off as he had just woken up. He opened the door smiling "Hello." He said staring as the figure began to form in front of him.
Sally stood with a cake in her hands "Hi I wanted to say welcome. I am your next door neighbor Apartment number 234." She said smiling as she got a better look at him.
"Thanks." He said sniffing the air a familiar scent of roses crossed his nose as he looked at the bat again "S..Sally?" he asked looking her over again. His face was in shock as if he had just seen a ghost.
Sally stared at him her face suddenly matching his "Allen..." she asked before she knew it the cake hit the floor as she embraced him in a hug.
Jack smiled as he returned it his nose in her hair as he got the full scent of roses mixing with the natural scent that seemed to always pull her to him. He smiled resisting burrow his face in it to get a stronger scent he had always wanted to do this but she moved before he could try to ask her out.
"Ya it's me except for it is Jack now." The fox said.
Sally looked up at him and blinked "Since when I thought you always liked your middle name over your first." She said.
"Since I joined the army." He said
"Oh...so this is a temporary move." She said her heart slightly aching.
"No I am out of the military in a week." He said smiling.
Sally just looked at him and smiled she didn't know what she was feeling. Allen had been her childhood friend from age 5 till 17. She had even planned to give herself to him on her 18th birthday she had loved him, she had wanted nothing else but to burrow her face into his chest and feel his soft fur. "Would you like some fruit tea?" Jack asked smiling remembering her taste in tea whenever she would come over to hang with him.
Sally smiled "Sure." She said walking in following him to the kitchen.
She saw the picture and smiled she remembered when they took that picture. All of the good memories that came from that day flooded her as her childhood began to play in front of her eyes. Then the day that she moved.
Jack saw her looking at the picture and smiled "That was before you left." He said his tone dropping a bit _he thought to himself.
She looked at him "I am sorry we were having so much fun that day and it slipped my mind. I always had fun with." She said smiling.
Jack looked at her and smiled he was glad to hear that slightly disappointed when the kettle began to go into a frenzy. He simple poured the water into the cup stirring the tea around as he brought two cups to the small coffee table that sat in front of the couch.
"This reminds me of when we were young." She said smiling as she took a sip the taste bringing back loving memories that she had.
Jack smiled as he turned on music a soothing jazz coming over the room. Sally smiled it was just like old times. She wasn't surprised that she began to feel damp between her legs he always seemed to have this effect on her.
