One Hell of a Night - Chapter 3
#3 of One Hell of a Night
A quick apology for any typos I may have missed when proof reading this, but I don't exactly function at 100% at 11pm. Anyways, hope you all enjoy the continuation of the story here. Sorry to say that there's no sex this time, but there is sexiness at the end. ;-)

One Hell of a Night - Chapter 3
The following morning, I woke up with a big arm wrapped around me. I'd been sleeping on my side, and during the night Nina had ended up spooning me. However turnabout this position was, it was also extremely comfortable. I yawned softly, as quietly as I could, then felt Nina's finger trace patterns in my belly fur.
"Hey you..." She murmured. "Good morning."
"Hey. I didn't wake you, did I?"
"No, not at all. I've been awake for a good half hour. I just didn't want to move because I'd wake you up."
"Aww..." I took her hand and put a kiss on her palm. "Thank you."
A soft giggle rumbled though her chest, and it sounded so much cuter when I was so close to her.
"Hey, I'd be a bad girlfriend if I didn't take care of my boyfriend as well as he takes care of me."
"How do you mean?"
"Well... I've been single for six years, and even before that I didn't get this kind of treatment. The... Spontaneous kisses, the gentle cuddling, the absolutely amazing sex... You're all I've been dreaming about and more, all I've been wishing for. I'm here in bed, cuddling with you, and I'm just so happy and warm and comfortable... I could keep going, but I'm sure you get the idea."
"I do." I said, quietly. Nina had ways of making me utterly speechless, but in a good way. Leaning back carefully, as to not headbutt her, I turned my head and kissed her on the chin. This prompted her to wrap her arm a little tighter around me, pull me closer, and murr softly in my ear.
"I've never had a girlfriend like you, you know." I said, holding her big paw with both of mine. "Seeing you smile, hearing you giggle, being able to hug and kiss you... All that makes me feel better than I've felt for a very, very long time."
"What made you feel bad?" She asked, quietly.
"The loneliness, especially after a very bitter breakup with my last girlfriend. I found out she'd been cheating on me, so I confronted her about it. It... Got bad. She told me I was worthless anyway, that I was useless, that I never talked to her. Truth be told, I was working double shifts to help her pay her rent, so I was just too exhausted to text her when I got home. I... Said some things that I regret. When I tried to apologise, she got her boyfriend to wait for me on the way from work and... Well... Let's just say I couldn't afford the medical bills and ended up with a spool between my teeth for the next few weeks while my ribs healed."
"You're not the type to let yourself get beaten." Nina said, though I could sense anger in her tone.
"Kinda hard to defend yourself from a sucker punch, and then stop someone from kicking you while you're down with a concussion and feeling like you're going to throw up."
Her heartbeat went from a frustrated tone to one of straight up rage. I took her hand and held it to my own chest, to let her feel my heartbeat instead. She'd said that it calmed her down.
"It's all in the past, sweetheart. Please don't get mad."
Reluctantly, Nina started taking deeper breaths and slowly calmed down. "I'm sorry. It's just... It's such a dick move to blindside someone, and then kick them while they're down? I'd like to break him in half to see how he likes it."
I turned over and looked into her eyes.
"Sorry..." She sighed. "I just care about you, Silas. I don't want anyone to hurt you."
"I know." I raised a hand and stroked her cheek. "But I like happy, bubbly, giggly Nina. Not serious, angry Nina. Would you smile for me, pretty please?"
She couldn't keep up a frown against the puppy eyes I gave her, and smiled warmly.
"There you go. Thank you."
She stayed silent for a moment, just gazing into my eyes, then an idea must've popped into her head because her ears perked up and her eyes grew a little wider.
"You know what? I've finally got an excuse to go out and pick out a sexy nightie. And I think it might make us both feel a little better. Would you come keep me company on the trip, Silas?"
I laughed. "Sure. I'd love to see you in a skimpy, see-through dress."
For the first time, I became aware of Nina's garage. Inside she had a land-rover with big wheels and a high suspension, one which supported her large frame and allowed for off-roading, which she said she loved doing every now and then.
"If you get a break off work, I'll even take you with me. We can go hiking, maybe camp outdoors..." She started fantasizing about that and drifted off into a daydream. My laughter brought her right back down to Earth. "What?" She asked, embarrassed.
"You just look adorable when you're daydreaming. You start blushing and your ears droop."
Nina glared playfully at me. "Get in the truck or you'll be riding in the boot."
I did as asked and we drove off.
Once we'd driven into town, Nina found a place to park and got out. As we began walking, me following her, she leaned over to ask a question.
"Could we... Hold hands?"
"I don't know why you felt the need to ask." I found her hand and interlaced my fingers with hers, smiling up at her.
"Well... I didn't want to be presumptuous. Maybe you don't want to be seen with a massive girl?"
"I could care less what the general public thinks of me or my business."
"Heh, okay."
We ended up outside a bright red door, carved into which were the words 'Victoria's Secret'.
"I... Never liked lingerie stores." I admitted. "Would it be alright if I just waited outside?"
"Sure. It'll be more of a surprise that way." She winked. "I'll be out real soon, okay?"
"Mhm. Hey, hold up."
Nina turned. I made a 'come here' gesture. When she approached, I went on tiptoes and kissed her on the lips. The way she blushed proved to me that she absolutely loved it. She smiled, giggled and blew me a kiss before heading in.
I squatted down by the wall and waited. There was an alleyway to the right of me, dimly lit and mostly out of sight, with a single dumpster standing guard like a rusty sentinel. The odd car drove past on the road, and across it I could see a cafe. I sighed softly and looked down, finding a collection of small stones beneath my boot, which I picked up and started to play with.
A few minutes later, I heard some distant muttering. Then footsteps. Then three pairs of legs stood in front of me. I glanced up and saw three canines, one of whom I had a vague memory of.
I rose, without dropping the stones.
"This is him?" The one on the right asked.
"Yeah, it is." The one in the middle replied.
"Doesn't look tough." The one on the left sneered.
"He's not." The middle said.
"Can I help you?" I inquired.
"Yeah. Sarah told us about how you used to beat her." The middle-... Gary. That was his name. And Sarah was my ex.
"First I've heard of it."
"Too much of a chicken-shit to own up." One of the two lackeys barked. I ignored them. I had to stare their leader down if I had any chance of avoiding a fight. Though it looked less and less like they were just there to intimidate me.
Gary glanced at the alleyway, then looked at me again and smiled.
Shit.
Moving as fast as I could, I threw my handful of stones in one lackey's face and punched Gary in the jaw. The third lackey grabbed me from behind, restraining my arms, so I threw my head back and managed to break his front teeth, judging by the angry howl that left him. When Gary came in for a hit, I used the guy behind me for leverage, raised my legs and kicked him in the stomach as hard as I could.
"GRAB THE CUNT!" Gary snapped, coughing.
The two males each grabbed hold of me - one by the arms, the other by the legs - and they pulled me, writhing and kicking, into the alley. I desperately tried to get loose, thrashing about like a fish out of water, but they were stronger than me. Finally, I felt the grip loosen on my legs and used that to kick upwards, getting an uppercut on the lackey. He swore, moved forward and punched me straight in the stomach, knocking the breath right out of me.
While I was stunned, he got behind me and the two of them each grabbed an arm while simultaneously pushing me into the wall.
"Now I'll teach you a fuckin' lesson..." Gary growled, approaching me. He drew back and landed a hit on my stomach. My insides burned from it - the muscles there weren't strong enough to withstand the force of that punch. Then he threw a right hook at my face, and I felt my lip and gum split, spreading the taste of blood around my mouth. Then a hit to the ribs. There was a sickening crack and I howled in agony. He didn't care. Holding down my arm, he punched me in the joint. I felt the bone pop out of place, making me cry out again.
My vision was darkening, about to pass out from the pain. Then I heard one of the two at my side yell out.
"What the hell is that!?"
Then they dropped me. One lackey started running, tripped, fell, picked himself up and scurried away down the alley. The other one flew past me and landed face-first on the ground. He took gasping breaths as he stood up and stumbled off.
Directly ahead of me was the dumpster. One moment it was there, the next it had moved a few feet to the side as Gary collided with it. The way he did, I guessed someone had kicked him in the midsection pretty hard.
Nina grabbed Gary by the collar, hoisted him up and planted her knee into him with enough force to lift him off the ground. She went for his balls, judging by the way he let out a silent scream and started coughing. She twirled around and shoved him into the wall.
"If you ever... Ever... So much as look at him again... I will find you and break every fucking bone in your body. You got that!?"
Gary whimpered. I heard a growl - too deep and angry to be his - then Nina shoved him to the side. He fell, then stumbled away, shaking all over like a leaf in wind.
"Silas?Silas!" Nina was on her knees in front of me, having gone from terminator to terrified. I tried, weak as I was, to look up at her. "Oh God... Here, come on, get up." She took my arm, the dislocated one, and pulled. I cried out and bared my bloody teeth. "Sorry! I'm so sorry! Is the other one okay?"
"Y... Y-yuh..." I managed.
She hoisted me up and carried me out of the alley, grabbing a gift bag on her way.
I wasn't all there, but I think Nina broke a few speed limits driving to the hospital. She screeched to a stop outside the entrance and jumped out of the truck, running around it to get to my side.
"I'm... N-... Not insured..." I tried to say as she practically carried me to the doors.
"I don't care. I'll pay for it."
"N-... No..."
"Silas, shut up!"
I did.
As we stumbled through the door, I felt my legs start to give way.
"N-Nina..." Was all I managed to blurt before the lights went out.

When I woke up, everything looked fuzzy. The steady beep of machinery was just about the only sound in the room. Something was pinching my finger, but my other arm was immobilized and I was too groggy to concentrate and see what was pinching me. Now I realised that my throat was parched. When I turned my head to the side, I saw something that looked vaguely like a water bottle. I tried to reach for it - hell knows what I thought I'd do with a sealed bottle in my state - but all I succeeded in doing was brushing my fingers against it.
A tall figure appeared over me. It took the bottle, unscrewing what looked like the cap, then put some odd reed into it and bent the top. It held the reed to my lips, and I figured out that it was a straw. I sucked on it, first hating the sensation of the water going down, then loving the cold feeling. The faintest pang of pain made itself known on my chest, but I ignored it in favour of the drink.
"Th... Thank you..." I managed.
The figure brought a strange object to the side of the bed and put it down, then it became smaller as it apparently sat down. Must've been a chair.
My vision returned a bit more and I finally recognised the figure.
"Hey... Nina..." I tried to smile, but that cause a ripping sensation in my gums.
In response, she took my hand and held it to her cheek, which was wet from crying.
"I'm so sorry. If... If I hadn't taken you out... If I hadn't been so stupid_, you'd be okay..._"
"Had... Worse..." That was a lie, but I wanted to say something to make her feel better.
Nina looked away, still clutching my hand. "The... The doctor relocated your arm. He also did an X-Ray of your chest. Your ribs didn't heal well, and those guys just broke them again. But it looked like they... The ribs I mean... Got knocked into the right place this time. So just as long as you don't fall on your chest, you'll heal up okay." She took a deep breath. "They didn't find any insurance records for you - they found your name on your phone - so they said that as soon as you can walk you need to go home, since they only offer beds to the insured, and there's a long waiting list for those who aren't."
I looked at her. I could see more and more clearly, and thus I could see how terrible Nina looked.
"I was... I was so scared. I thought they'd hurt you bad." She looked at me again, fresh tears welling in her eyes. "I thought I'd lose you."
It was only two days - three at a stretch - that I'd known her, and she was so attached to me already that even the faintest idea of me vanishing for whatever reason ripped her apart. I couldn't help but feel responsible for what happened, though I didn't exactly know how I could have avoided it. I was sure that if she hadn't got to me when she did, I'd have been left for dead in that alley, and the cops would have scratched it up to a mugging gone wrong. But now the guilt was setting in - Nina was wasting money on me and my... My...
My pathetic existence.
I was about to start talking when a doctor walked in, carrying a clipboard.
"Ah, you're awake, Silas. How are you feeling?" He asked. A feline, older male, thin build. Little glasses were on the bridge of his nose.
"Doped up and can't feel my arm." I replied, my powers of speech having returned to me. More or less.
"That'd be the morphine." He smiled. "Is there anyone I can contact to pick you up and keep an eye on you for the next few days? Next of kin, perhaps?"
"I... Don't have any siblings. My parents aren't available, either. I'll look after myself."
I felt Nina squeeze my hand, but the doctor spoke up before she could.
"I would advise against it very strongly. Should something go wrong, I'd much prefer you to have the help you may need."
"I'll look after him." Nina said.
"Are you sure?" The doctor glanced at her.
"I am. I've got a clear schedule for the coming week, I'll take good care of Silas."
"Nina, I don't want to be a burden anymore-"
"Oh hush, that's the morphine talking." She patted my hand. "Besides, I'd get bored being alone at home all the time."
"Very good!" The doctor scribbled something on his clipboard. "Do you feel well enough to be discharged?"
Nina, despite still having a look of crying on her face, actually smirked. I glared at her, then looked back at the doctor.
"Yeah, I think I can walk."
"Shall I send a nurse in to help you get dressed? Your clothes have been washed and are by the bed."
"It's okay, I can help him." Nina smiled
"Alright, I'll leave you two to it."
She did indeed help me get dressed, steadying me when I felt like I was going to topple. While her fingers worked to fasten my jeans, she started giggling.
"What?" I asked, slightly frustrated that I was so helpless at that moment.
"Oh, nothing. Just hadn't thought that I'd be doing up your belt and fly as opposed to tearing them apart."
"Oh." With a sigh, I looked at her. "Nina... You're doing too much for me. I won't be able to pay you back for all of this. Sticking your neck out for me, paying for the bills here, now you're going to be spending more money on me while I-"
She put her finger on my lips to hush me. A smile was on her face, a warm and caring one. "Money is in my bank account and it's got nowhere to go. If it means that you get better, I don't care how much I need to pay." She smiled a little more shyly now. "And... Well... This means I'll get to spend more time with you."
I couldn't force a smile even if I tried. I felt terrible and ashamed for putting her in the situation she was in. And yet... She just seemed content with having me around. I guess I just couldn't accept that one could fall in love so quickly, despite it happening before my very eyes.
"Okay." I sighed. "I don't want you to think that I don't absolutely love you and your company - it's just that I feel like a... Well, like a leech."
Nina blinked, then smiled. She pulled me closer and hugged me very carefully, as to avoid causing me pain from the injuries. "You're not a leech." She murmured, rubbing her cheek against mine. "You're an amazing man going through a rough time. And I'm more than happy to offer you a helping hand."
I leaned against her and wrapped my one good arm around her middle, resting my head on her shoulder and enjoying the hug.
****
When we arrived back at Nina's home, it was already night. She made me something quick to eat and get my strength up, then took me to the shower to get cleaned up.
"Sponge baths from a sexy nurse were reserved for patients on Gold insurance." She smiled. "I'm nowhere near as hot as those nurses you saw... However, I'm still willing to help you get clean."
"I think I'd prefer you over them." I smiled back.
We didn't mess around as we had before. Nina very carefully sponged me down, letting me take care of my private parts as not to cause me unnecessary excitement. Once we were both clean, we got out and she helped dab me down with a towel, then put my arm in a sling. I felt so vulnerable and helpless, but she didn't make the slightest reference towards that. Whenever I got embarrassed, she'd stop and hug me, put a kiss on me cheek and tell me everything was alright, that she didn't mind it at all.
I left the bathroom to give her some privacy, and in the little bin in her bedroom I noticed something odd. After padding to it, I leaned down and plucked a dark bag from amongst some papers and crumpled documents. Nina walked out of the bathroom just then, dressed in a long shirt and a pair of boxers. I turned to her, the bag in my good hand.
"Why did you throw it out?" I asked.
"Throw what-... Oh... Well... I guess I thought it'd make you have flashbacks, and I didn't want you to be getting unpleasant memories."
I glanced down at the gift bag, then at her, putting on a little smile. "Could you put on what you bought? For me?"
She looked a bit hesitant at first, but then a smile slowly appeared and her eyes met mine. "For you?" Nina raised a hand, brushing her fingers down my cheek. "Anything."
I sat down on the edge of the bed, facing the bathroom. For the moment, I started wondering what Nina could have bought that wouldn't bring attention to her well-built shoulders; most female lingerie I came in contact with was based around shoulder straps which went over thin arms, nothing like the guns my girl was packing. My thoughts were cut short by the bathroom door opening.
And right then, at that very moment, my jaw literally dropped.
From the top, Nina had ruffled her hair a bit to give her a bedhead look and take attention away from her muscled arms. There were a pair of lace straps over her shoulders, holding onto a pair of intricately sewn and partially see-through cups which supported her big breasts. They were dark in colour, and below them was a pair of silk-like fabric pieces, hanging loosely and tied at their bottom corners with a neat ribbon bow just above her waist. The sides of Nina's belly were visible beneath the fabric, but the centre of her belly was completely revealed, bringing attention to the belly button which I admit I hadn't really looked at before.
Around her legs was a mini pair of shorts which, when her legs were together, looked more like a little skirt, but it did a wonderful job of hiding the extra 'heat' she was packing. Said shorts were made out of the same fabric with the same style as the top. The shorts brought attention to her legs and, I was sure, her ass as well.
Nina, ever the flirt, leaned on the frame of the bathroom door, her hand splayed on the wood and her cheek resting on it, bent one leg while the other stayed straight, winked and blew me a kiss. I felt like I'd blow a gasket.
Seeing that I was speechless, she padded forward as if walking on a line, her butt gently waving from side to side with her tail going in opposite directions to confuse me. Kneeling on the bed, one leg either side of my waist, she took a seat in my lap and put her hands on my shoulders.
"Lost for words?"
"Uhhh..."
Nina giggled. "I took so long in the store because the girls were trying to find something that wouldn't make me look like a bodybuilder in a dress."
"They succeeded..." I managed. I raised my hand to try and feel her fur, but thought better of it.
"Aww... It's look but do touch, sweetheart." She smiled, gently taking my hand and placing it on her side. My heart was racing. I felt like a kid when confronted with something way too beautiful to comprehend. Nina saw this, her smile mellowing out and a blush radiating on her cheeks. She leaned forward, her muzzle at my ear. "You know what's even better?"
"No..."
"I won't charge you anything for sleeping with me..."
I whimpered at that. It made her giggle.
"You're... You're so beautiful...." I started talking, despite my voice breaking when I tried. "I don't know what I ever did to deserve someone as gorgeous, kind and adorable as you..."
"Oh, hey." That blush was getting stronger. "You're already in bed with me. There's no need for more flattery, Silas."
I smiled - shakily, but I did. "Could I... Perhaps... Maybe get a kiss?"
"You can have a thousand, then a thousand more." Nina replied. She put her arms around my neck, loosely, and leaned down. That kiss was simply the best I'd ever experienced.
We lay down together. I had to lie on my back to avoid pain from my ribs, so Nina put an arm around my belly and rested her muzzle under my chin, her legs holding one of mine. I ran my fingers through her hair a few times, before dozing off into a happy dream.
