Slip Shock

Gena walks down the busy streets of downtown, swaying her hips as she listens to the music playing from the MP3 player in her back pocket. She pushes the "1*" button and then leans back against the rear of the elevator car. The doors close and elevator descends slowly. Gena starts to wish that this place had an express elevator. She sits down on a bench and then waits for the train to show up. The train pulls in just a few seconds later, rolling silent into the station. Gena smiles and then stands up. She brushes herself off and then walks over to the door of the car as it opens up like she commanded it to. The train slips around the corner and then comes to a stop at the station. Gena stands up and goes over to the door just as it opens. She steps off the train and to the escalator. The train comes just a few moments later and seems to be packed in the first couple of cars. When the train stops, Gena walks to the very last car where no one seems to be. "Who are those two?" Gena asked herself, still picturing the two in her head. She shrugs and then waits for the elevator to reach the 10th floor.

The elevator slows down and then stops with a chime. The doors open up to the red carpeted 10th floor. She steps out and on to carpet and starts walking down to her apartment. She sighs as a series of trailers about other DVD's start to play. She leans back a little and then waits for the main movie to start. She eats a bit more popcorn and then looks as the movie starts. She goes over to the kitchen and then grabs a cup and pours herself a cup of juice. She sips on the juice and then looks at the carton and then drinks from the carton and finishes off the juice. She looks over at her toy which has been placed on the desk against the wall. "Well at least I got to see what it felt like." She laughs and then throws the carton in the trash.
