"Cheers to five numbers in thirty minutes at Clara's expense!", Eric said as he rasied a glass of the bar's most expensive wine, payed for with Clara's money. They all raised their classes and cheered. Even Clara, albeit with less enthusiasm. They then started to sip on there fine wine. As soon as they took a sip of the drink they spit it out into the glass.
"What the hell is that.", Darren said as he looked confused at the glass of wine that was bitter and sour. They looked over to the bartender. He cleaned the glass on his station. He then realized why they were all looking at him mysteriously with a confused, dazed look.
"You said most expensive, you never said best tasting.", The bartender said as he continued to clean the glasses at his station.
"Well could be worse wine.", Koji said as he tried to shake of the drunkeness that was overtaking his body, he was looking and feeling dazed. He was dizzy and strange thoughts were entering his head, "If I wonder what the pi of that pie is.", Koji suddenly thought.
"No, that's about the worst tasting wine we have.", The bartender pitched in from behind the counter.
"Really man you couldn't have told me it was the crap wine you were giving us.", Eric said, his face getting blushed.
"You didn't ask.", The bartender said as he shined the last glass. "Anyway, time to close up, hit the road jacks and don't come back till tomorrow.", The bartender said, not caring if they were drunk or not. "Remember here its don't ask don't tell about the quality of the drinks."
Koji and his friends got up and they made their way out of the bar, getting their jackets and for Clara a yellow umbrella walking out, Koji was about to leave when he felt something hit him, a large bulky object, that bumped in to him.
"Ohh, god I'm sorry I wanted to get my green coat before the bar closed because it looks so good on me, by the way I'm Luke.", Koji looked up and a large green reptilian Crocodile was standing in front of him drenched in rain, he was already wearing a black shirt that was drenched and black cargo pants also drenched. He couldn't of been a day over twenty-five, his scales still light green and not that roughed up.
"Oh, sorry about that still a little drunk.", Koji said as he got out of the way and let Luke in. He walked over to his car, when he saw Luke walking down into the sidewalk rain splashing down on him, Koji couldn't let the Croc walk home like that. He opened the window, "Hey, how far is your house from here?", Koji asked.
"Not that far, only two miles.", He said slowing down to a realization when the words passed though his lips. "Are yoy gonna offer me a ride?", He asked approaching the car's open window.
"Yeah, where do yo live.", Koji said trying to be chatty with the cute Crocodile as the large beast opened the door and entered the window closing.
"Ah, 94 Green Meadow Road.", He said as he watched the bar fade from his view as Koji pulled out, and started to drive.
"Funny, I live at 100 Green Meadow Road.", Koji said as the car continued driving, the ride was silent and partly awkward, both wanting the other to make the first move. Koji reached the Crocodile's house, his house right in view, but before the beast got out he tried to ask something
"Listen, I haven't done this many times, but your the nicest guy I've met in a while and anyway I guess what I'm trying to say is would you go on date with me?", Koji tried to say, words become jumbled and mispronounced.
"You know what, I'll take you up on that offer, why don't you come inside for some coffee.",The crocodile said as he got out, deliberately wiggling his ass in Koji's direction.
