This is a story series I came up with awhile back. It's full name is The Village of the Forming Fruit, and I think its going to be good. It'll take awhile and have about 7 chapters...or maybe more,I don't know. Some of the Chapters will have yiff, some won't,so please bear with me. Thank you.

~8 Years Ago,in the forest near a village...~
Glash looked to the side. Among the mud and dirt was a small child,a sword lodged in his left arm and a large, bleeding gash in his head. His grey fur, dirty, bloody, and soaked from the rain, was weighing him down greatly, but he managed to stand. Around him, humans and furs fought over this land. The land his people rightfully owned. He growled a bit, standing over the unconsious child. Glash raised his arm, claws gleaming in the dim light of the full moon. As he thought about it,it became harder for him to kill the human male child. He was barely 6 or 7 winters old...a mere pup amongst his fellow humans. What was he doing out in this battle between species? Most likely forced by his alpha to do it. Now Glash was an old fur...at least 89 winters, but still strong. His fur was long and straggly, but still gave his wolfen body a definate muscular form. He hated fighting the humans, but he had to protect his land. For the sake of his people.
"Rrrg...Why must we fight?" He spoke this silently to himself, staring at the body below him.
"Stay away from my son, monster!" Glash turned, seeing a muscular human male running towards him, sword raised in his left hand, his right arm completely cut off,his face twisted in rage. Glash stared at the man with his golden eyes. One eye was slightly greyer than the other, going blind slowly. "You put this pup out here, human!? You're his father? You would put your future generation in danger to get a small patch of land in an uncharted forest!?"
It seemed to go in slow motion as his claws struck home, the last beat of the human's heart slowing down...and ending his life forever......
~Present Day,in the Village of Mostique~
Alex woke up to the same room...in the same hut...in the same village. It was a pretty boring cycle, really, but he lived through it somehow. He was 15 now,and like most of the young Furres in the village,he still resembled a human. But in only one more day,he would be able to go to the Tree of Forming Fruits and find the fruit that appealed to him. He'd eat it and become one of the many furs in the village, covered in fur (or scales or feathers) and living the good life in his chosen profession...Village Leader. He stood up,pulling on his cloth shorts and walked into the main room of the large hut. Sitting down,he quickly ate a large chunk of elk that his father had probably caught. Once again,Alpha Glash, his father, wasn't in the hut, probably off at a village meeting or something.
"Alex! Come on out here!"
Alex turned, looking out the door at his friend,Miste. Alex wasn't much,he was about 5 foot tall, with dirty grey hair and not too much to speak of in his sexual area. He stood up,walking outside, "Uh...Miste? You realise you're wearing a hat with cat-ears sown into it,right?"
Miste was a short (4' 7"),chubby kitten (he came from a family of Cat Furs) with white hair, with a small patch of grey in the middle. "Yea,of course. It was a gift from my parents for Winters Eve. Didn't Alpha Glash give you anything?" At this,Alex looked to the side, getting a sad look. Miste let it drop. "Well,Alex...I've gotta get going anyways. I just wanted to show you my cap. I've gotta help my brother with fishing...he broke his arm last week,ya' know." Alex nodded, watching Miste walk away slowly. He sighed and turned, seeing Alpha Glash walking towards him, holding a box and looking quite pleased with himself. "Alex. I'm glad I found you. Lets go back to the hut and you can see what I've got in the box, shall we?"
In the hut,Alex sat in one of the wooden chairs, looking at the box in front of him. Glash gave him a nod and he quickly opened it finding not a cap,or a cloak,or even a weapon, but finding...a note and a necklace.
"What's this? hm..." He began with the note:
Alex,
It is difficult to say,but the truth be told, you aren't from this village. I decided to tell you now, since it is just before the Winter Forming. You are not a Furre. Don't think I mean you haven't been Formed,no...I mean you look like a human because you ARE a human. I found you 8 years ago, memory gone and without parents. The scar on your left arm is from a sword that was lodged in the arm. Most likely your own sword. I took you in with hopes you could bridge the boundry between the species. I,War-Chief Zanko and Healer Orsht are the only ones who know. I also tell you this because I do NOT want you going to the Tree tommorrow. There is no telling what a Fruit would do to you and because of this, you will not go. Also,I will be leaving the village with the War-Chief and a few warriors to try to make peace with anearby village of human traders. By the time you finish this note,I will be gone...Dispite what you are,I still love you with all of my soul. Be safe, son.
Alex stared. He suddenly started laughing. "Ha ha...heh...thats funny...why di-...Glash? Alpha Glash?" The hut was empty...Glash was gone...and the door had a large, metal padlock on it,and all of the windows were shut and locked as well. Glash was silent, thats for sure. But right now,Alex didn't care about that...his whole life had been a lie. He had 7 years missing from his life...7 years that Glash had told him about, implanting lies into his mind? Something was certainly wrong here. Alex's eyes watered a bit and he fell backwards in his chair, his head hitting the floor with enough force to knock him out.
"Alex? Alex, are you awake? I think he's coming to..." He woke up,staring up at a bright light...and the silloette of an Ocelot...namely,the Healer's cub,Landri. Now,the village was a pretty moderate sized place. You had the main points of interest:the market, the Healer's Temple, the Academy, the Alpha's Hut (his home),and then you had the smaller areas, like the bathing pool and the mage caves. Around those were placed the huts of the other furres of the village. Right next to the Alpha's Hut was the Healer's Temple (not truley a temple as much as a very large hut),and right next to Alex's bedroom window was Landri's window. She had only recently become a Furre at the Autumn Forming, but in either form,he liked her...a lot. They had talked for years across the small alleyway between thier homes, and Alex loved her more and more, but hadn't the nerve to tell her. Anyway,as Alex stared up at her, still a bit dizzy,he blinked a couple of times and tried speaking, only having it come out as a low murmur. "What's that? You might want to rest for a bit,Alex. That hit on the head was pretty bad,and you're lucky I even found you." She smiled in that ocelot-like way that she did and walked away, leaving him to stare up at the mystic light above him, probably created from magic. Magic was a natural part of life in this village. It was everyday life. Sometimes,it was a fireplace. Sometimes,a fresh loaf of bread. Sometimes, even a weapon during hunting trips. But sadly,Alex wasn't too gifted in magic. He could produce a tiny flame, about the size of a candle-flame,and that was it. He had every spell he could think of memorised, but he couldn't use them. And now he knew why.
After a few hours of rest,Alex woke up to see Landri sitting next to the bed, looking at him with her blue eyes...blue eyes. Rare for an Ocelot. "L...Landri...I-" "Shhh..." She held a leather-padded finger to his lips, "I know all about it. I found the note and grabbed it before my father did. He left some time ago,so we're alone now." Her eyes, however beautiful, turned a bit sad, "I'm...I'm sorry,Alex. But...I've got an idea. My father, however much he may know, doesn't know that Alpha Glash doesn't want you going to the Tree." She smiled again. Alex started to smile, but stopped, thinking, "Wait...how did you get into the hut if it was locked? Padlocks may have been human designed, but they're strong..." Landri smirked. "Alpha Glash forgot to check your bedroom window. It was easy enough to get inside." Alex smiled weakly, but soon enough, fell asleep again.
~The Day of Winter Forming arrived and dispite Glash's orders,Alex stood with the rest, awaiting his turn to enter the forest and go to the Tree.~
"Ahem! Alpha Glash is away right now,so my father,War-Chief Zanko, asked me to perform the ceremonies for today..."
Alex stood on a large wooden platform, along with 6 others, which included Miste amongst them. In front of the small group,a large Tiger Furre with crimson colored fur stood. It was Vor,Zanko's son. Vor was pretty easy to get along with, but was often a bit aggressive and didn't like humans...at all. He didn't even like younger Furres, because they resembled humans,so Alex didn't know him that well. All Alex knew about him was that he could throw a spear pretty well and probably would've impaled Alex, had he not dodged at the last moment.
"We are gathered to watch these young Furres go into the forest. In the forest, they shall feast upon one of the legendary Forming Fruits, and become proud furres like us. They will no longer resemble the humans that outcasted us," He said 'humans' with a tang of hatred, "but will look mighty in new fur, feathers,or scales! Let us watch them,as they enter the forest that has guarded us for ages past!" A loud cheer went up as Alex and the small group walked off of the platform and into the forest.
All around them, the trees became thicker and the sun was blocked out more and more. Alex wondered where he had been found...near that fallen tree? Under that rock? He didn't care that much, but it passed the time to think. At the time, though,Miste's mind was on other things, "Alex...you ever hear about those creatures in this forest? They come and kill someone...I've heard about it...they always kill one member of a travelling party, which is why,for some reason, there is always one less Furre that comes back..." Alex smirked, "Not always...sometimes its more,Miste. " Miste let out a little whimper of fear, walking a bit faster. Alex laughed silently to himself, enjoying the walk a bit more. "Heh...this forest is a lot nicer than I thought..." Everyone but Miste nodded at that. At the end of the pathway,a glowing light could be seen now...
Back in the village, things were not so good.
"WHAT!? Landri, why did you let him go!?" Orsht looked at his daughter. He was an Ocelot as well, but his fur had greyed quite a bit. His white cloak was also quite dirty all the time. "Why,Landri!? Why?" Landri looked down at her paws, sitting nearby in the Temple, "Well...I felt sorry for him. Considering that he never knew and...well...I'm sorry?" She looked at him, trying to look as cute as possible...but it didn't work. "Landri...you have to stop him! We aren't sure what effect that fruit could have on Alex! It might KILL him!" Landri stood up,nodding and ran out the door, headed into the forest.
