Northrend isn't so cold
Ok so yes this is a World of Warcraft Fan-fic, the only charicters I own are Brom, Amalla and Darin. All others belong to Blizzard. If you don't play or understand the lore of World of Warcraft, I do not suggest you read this. It is just too confusing. Both you and I know that this is an adult story containing adult themes like sex and violence. I don't care if you aren't old enough to read this but if I get any angry emails or you sue me for this I will sick my dragon on you. Enjoy and if your not 18 don't say anything.
Brom stood on the dock of the Undertram taping his foot impatiently. He swore to the Light that that boy was going to drive him mad. He put a hand to his long white beard and gave it a long stroke, what was he going to do about that boy. He shook his head and gave a very dwarven sigh.
Darin ran as fast as he could through the halls of Ironforge, the great city under the mountain of the Dwarves. He was shouldering his way past several of the stocky people when someone stepped on his gold and black robe. He fell forward and landed flat on his face, sending his war hammer spiraling across the stone floor. His Crown of Judgment fell off his face, though in truth it was more of a metal mask and a hood, revealing his golden eyes and soft face.
"By Elune, I am so sorry," came a voice from behind him. It seemed to almost ring in the air setting his blood on fire. He looked up to see a soft pink, purple face with big blue eyes staring back at him. "Are you alright young Paladin?" she asked very sweetly. He might have been insulted at being called young but remembered that the "young" woman in front of him was very possibly several thousand years old.
"I am fine," he said standing up and replacing his crown, then walked over and retrieved his hammer. "But I am very late for the tram," he bowed slightly. "Excuse me, malady." She smiled and took his arm, dragging him in the direction of Tinker Town and the tram.
"As am I," she said smiling. "If we hurry we can still make it." Darin let himself be pulled along for a few moments then recovered and kept pace with her.
"Pardon me malady, but what is you name?" He asked from behind the black mask.
"Amalla," she said. "Amalla Windsinger, and yours, good Paladin."
"Darin Lightsworn," he responded. "Paladin of the New Silver Hand." They ran onto the dock just as the tram was pulling up.
"There ya are boy, where the hell ya been," Brom said waving his hand in his direction. "Come on lad we got us a train to catch, no time for chasin women." Darin was overjoyed that he wore his mask because his face was as red as the trim on his Judgment armor. Amalla however was blushing rather hotly, and looked at her feet. Darin thought against fighting and ran for the tram, Amalla on his heels.
The tram shot off under the earth in the direction of Stormwind, the last great city of Man. The car sped along so fast the water behind the glass was a blur. Brom and Amalla exchanged niceties and form introductions. The Tram arrived in short order and the three pilled out. The Dwarf quarter of Stormwind was chocked with the smoke of dozens of forges and the air rang with the sounds of hammers on metal.
"Ah, smell that air." Brom said with a smile, Amalla was holding her hand to her face trying not to breath.
"Perhaps we should retire to the Trade Quarter, where the air is a bit, fresher?" Darin said, not knowing how long he could take the fumes.
"Ah your both a couple o' light weights," Brom grumbled. The three companions walked in the direction of the Trade Quarter, walking through Old Town and past Hall of Champions. They found an inn on the main strip that still had a few vacancies and settled down for the night.
"So Amalla, where are you headed?" Darin asked.
"Northrend," she said flatly.
"So little lass, why is a pretty thing like you headed to a light forsaking place like Northrend?" Brom asked, adjusting the battle axe on his back.
"Well, good dwarf, my older sister went missing there a few weeks ago, and I would like to find her."
"Well stay close to this one," he said poking Darin in the side. "You'll live longer," Darin chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. They all were waiting for the same ship it seemed, but were dismayed to hear that it would not be leaving for a week. The adventures settled into their rooms and waited for the ship to make ready. Darin was absent for most of the time, shut up in his room. Amalla asked Brom what he was doing but he would not say.
"The boy has seen a great many things in his short life, some things no mortal should ever see. He fought the demons of outland and the Black dragons of Black Wing Lair. There are even rumors he went toe to toe with Illidain, and even Arcimond, that boy has been through a lot and needs to deal with it his own way." A worried look crossed Amalla's face.
"Why is he going to Northrend?"
"Your going to have to ask him that yourself, it's not my place."
The week past with little excitement and the time finally came to find their ship. The companions walked to the port to find a colossal warship docked there. They all stared up in aw at the shining steel armor and iron cannons. They boarded the big ship and found their quarters. They were cramped and cold with straw pallets for beds, a very unappealing living space. The crew went about their work, loading and securing the cargo. Darin stood at the bow of the ship staring up at the sky, letting the sun warm his body through his robes and plat mail.
The trip was relatively short but boring, Darin spent most of it in prayer. He prayed for the safety of Amalla's sister, and for Brom and his own safe journey. Once, near the end of the voyage Amalla quietly opened the door to his room to see him kneeling in front of a makeshift alter with incense burning in a bowl on the top. His eyes were closed and his hands clasped, his lips moving as if silently speaking.
"Yes, Amalla, how may I help you," he said softly and calming. He opened his eyes and stood, turning to look at her with a smile on his unmasked face.
"I was just wondering where you have been for the past week, I was hopping to get to know you more," she said smoothly.
"Oh I have been here, praying for our safety as well as your sister's." He motioned for her to come inside and to sit. There was not much room, so they were forced to sit on his bed. "What is it you would like to know?" he asked softly.
"Well for starters, why are you going to Northrend? Do you have a family, wife and children?" He chuckled and looked down.
"Well, my father was lost in Northrend, he went with Arthas in the first expedition there, and no, I don't have a wife or children. Although I have always wanted a family," he answered honestly. Amalla looked sad, but somehow cheerful. As if he had said exactly what she wanted to hear. They sat and talked for a few hours and became fast friends. When night fell Darin walked out on deck with Amalla on his heels. He stared up at the night sky, looking at the twinkling stars and the crescent moon.
"I love the night, the moon is somehow comforting," he said. "It is good to see it again, there were three moons in Outland, not that I had time to look at them."
"I have never been to Outland," Amalla said. "What's it like?"
"It is a burning shattered world filled with demons and crazed orcs bent on the death and destruction of all life. The very terrain seeks your death, the animals all wish to drink your blood and feed on your corps. It is a barren evil place that I would not wish on my worst enemy." He finished his description and looked down at the sea. "After that, Northrend and the Scourge will seem like a vacation in comparison."
The next day Northrend came into view, tall mountains and unfriendly looking costs. The port town was under constant attack by the undead, but the solders were keeping them back. Upon arrival in Northrend they all signed in as solders of the Alliance. As soon as Darin said his named he was hailed by a High Elf. Darin walked over and asked what the elf needed.
"You are Darin, Darin Lightsworn?" he asked, Darin nodded feeling very confused. "Will you please come with me, someone wants to meet you." Darin inclined his head and before his very eyes the elf vanished and a red dragon stood in his place. "Get on, the ride is not that long but it is a dangerous one." Darin nodded and stepped up onto his back. "Hold on," he said as he kicked off from the ground. Darin fell onto his neck holding it in a death grip.
"What about my friends?" Darin asked.
"You will return in a few day," the dragon responded.
The Dragon flew high over the tundra and the far mountains. Darin was too afraid to look down and missed most of the view. When he finally looked up he saw a tower reaching towards the sky, with the bones of long dead dragons littering the snowy ground.
"Where are we?" Darin asked.
"The Dragon Blight, the ancient bone yard of the dragons," he answered. He banked high towards the top of the tower. The tower was surrounded by red dragons fighting off blues that filled the air around them. The dragon avoided them all together and angled directly towards a balcony on the top of the tower. He set down and aloud Darin to dismount before joining the fight with the other reds.
"Darin, Darin is that you?" came the voice of what sounded like a grandmother. Darin looked down to see an old gnome woman looking up at him with a big smile on her lips.
"Chromy!" Darin cried and knelt to give her a huge. "How did you get out of Anderhall?" he asked.
"Oh, I may be old but I still have a few tricks up my sleeves," she said with a grin.
"It's good to see you again," he said picking her little gnome body off the ground.
"It's good to see you too, you look well," She smiled and hugged him back. Darin put her down and she smiled up at him.
"Hello, Darin Lightsworn," came a voice that could set any man's blood on fire. Darin spun to find himself staring into the breasts of the tallest High Elf he had ever seen. Darin was 6,4 in his gear, and this elf stood a whole head and shoulders taller then him. She was scantily clad despite the biting cold in red and gold gilded armor. She had long red hair with large horns growing out of her skull and a pendent hanging at her neck. She looked imposing and dangerous but gave off a comforting and friendly aura.
"Alexstrasza, you shouldn't sneak up on mortals, especially males, with that voice of yours," Chromi said. Drain looked at Chromi, then back at the elf and fell to his knees.
"My Queen," he said. "It is an honor to meet you in person, I-I don't know what to say malady." Darin was flabbergasted, Alexstrasza had been one of his childhood heroines, and now he was meeting her in the flesh. Alexstrasza smiled and put her hand on his head.
"Rise young champion, you have earned my friendship, a thousand times over," she said softly. Darin looked up confused. Seemingly reading his mind she said, "You killed the orc known as Zuluhand the Wacked, the one that imprisoned me before the second war." She smiled again, warming Darin's very soul.
"Forgive me majesty, but I slew him for the Netherwing Dragons," he said earnestly.
"It does not matter who you slew him for, only that you slew him," she said softly, comfortingly, like a mother to her child.
"So," came a voice from behind him. "You're the whelp that killed Onyxia, and Nefarean." Alexstrasza looked up and glared across the room at a human woman standing with her arms crossed. "Count yourself lucky that the Red Queen stands at your side our you would be ash in seconds," she spat.
"Ignore her," Alexstrasza said, "She is the Black Flight's emissary and is only bitter that Deathwing's and Onyxia's ambitions all but destroyed her Flight." Chromi huffed and stuck her nose in the air. A great Green dragon grunted loudly.
"Might we get back to the matter at hand?" he asked in a deep voice. He, unlike the other dragons, appeared in his natural form. All but the black nodded in agreement. Alexstrasza turned to the male elf next to her and whispered something in his ear, he nodded and stepped forward.
"If the counsel will excuse me, I have business with this mortal and leave my general in my stead." The other three dragons nodded and went back to their discussions. "Come with me young champion, we have business elsewhere." Darin followed her out to the terrace in silence. Without a word Alexstrasza leapt from the terrace and disappeared over the edge. Darin ran to the edge and looked down but could not see her, only the red and azures that fought in the air.
With a tremendous wush a massive red dragon flew past him. It came to a hover right in front of the ledge. It's scales were the most beautiful red Drain had ever seen. The horns on its head were decorated with great golden bands. It had six horns, two large coming out of the top of it's head, and two smaller ones where ears would be and one coming from in between the two larger ones. They had large earring like ornaments hanging from them. From it's snout sprouted a sixth small horn with a single gold band around it. From it's chin hung a great gemmed pendent that swung free from a chain attached to the under side of it's jaw. Finally, it's great eyes were enveloped in orange fire that emanated from within it's body.
"Well hurry and get on," came Alexstrasza's voice. Darin stood for a few seconds in utter shock, then numbly moved forward and sat at the base of her long neck.
"My Queen, you are truly a stunning beauty," Darin said aw struck. He thought he saw the scales on her face turn a darker shade of red, but decided he must have imagined it. With a loud rush of air they shot forward. Alexstrasza flew faster then he ever had before, the ground below was a blur. In minutes they were over the ocean heading south.
They flew for hours, covering hundreds if not thousands of miles. Darin was still awestruck, what did the great Queen of the Dragons wish of him, and why him? Thousands of questions shot through his head but he was too afraid to ask, not wishing to look foolish to such a majestic creature.
As the sun was setting on the horizon Alexstrasza began to slow down and bank for the water. A large island rose in the distance that seemed to be her destination. The island was a single large mountain that rose to the sky, seemingly to touch the heavens. It was here the great queen landed, settling down in a large clearing at the foot of the mountain. She walked with massive strides up the side of the mountain and into a cave that easily held her titanic body.
Deep in the earth she traveled, passing several large treasure troves. She blushed, this time he was sure of it, and told him that even the greatest dragon hungers for treasures. A base attraction to shinny objects he assumed. After all many animals, including humans, are attracted to things that shine.
Finally they reached the final cavern in her lair. It was littered with treasures, furs, gems, precious metals, and fine silks. Along the walls lay dozens of red eggs, dragon eggs. Darin looked up at Alexstrasza with a soft tender look.
"Congratulations," he said simply. Alexstrasza looked down, "Your children," he said gesturing to the eggs. She inclined her head accepting his praise.
"Now, to why I brought you here," she said. "Do you know how Dragon and Wyrmm Kin are born?" she asked. Darin shook his head, having no idea. "When a Brood Mother, such as myself, mates with a human any resulting offspring are born as either Wyrmm on Dragon Kin." Darin's mouth fell open under his mask, was she serious? "I believe you can guess why I brought you here."
As she said it her body changed, it shrunk to the size of a human. Her body became humanoid with distinctly human curves, which included supple breasts. Her legs and arms were athletically muscled and her stomach was tightly set. Her face changed into a more human looking one, although she still had a snout and horns. Now, however, only her largest two stood out from the back of her head, bathed in fire red hair. Her claws looked more like fingers although retained their talons, as did her feet. Her tail was just long enough to brush the ground behind her. The fire in her eyes was gone, but in it's place two orange orbs stood. In an exotic kind of way she was very beautiful.
"Come, young champion, let us enjoy each other to the fullest," she said softly.
"My Queen, I do not think I could satisfy one such as you," Darin said. Alexstrasza turned around, a disappointed look on her face. Darin removed his mask and hood, "But I will try my very best." She smiled wide and pulled him along by the gloved hand into a part of the cave that was covered by a curtain. Behind it stood a simple four poster bed with luxuries looking sheets. She laid her naked body down in a sexy position and giggled slightly, like a giddy school girl.
"Come, my big strong Champion, lets see toughs muscles of yours," she said seductively. Darin began unbuckling his armor and untying his robes. He let them fall gently where he stood, until he was down to his shirt and britches. "Come here, handsome, I'll help you out of toughs," she said, luring him forward with her finger. He stepped forward as he slid his shirt over his head, exposing his toned and muscled chest. Alexstrasza gasped slightly in anticipation, she ran a claw down his skin feeling the muscles ripple and flex underneath. When she got to his britches she slipped her finger under the fabric and undid the drawstring with the other hand, "Stand at attention solder," she said pulling down his paints.
She took hold of his member and gave it a long lick to entice it to stand up for her. Darin groaned softly feeling her draconian tongue run across his manhood. In moments he was at full attention leaving Alexstarsa staring wide eyed at his dick. She pulled him down onto her softly, meeting his lips in a kiss. He returned it letting her serpentine tongue dance in his mouth.
"I didn't know dragons kissed," Darin said breaking away from her.
"Who do you think perfected it," she said with a sexy giggle. She kissed him again briefly, moaning into his mouth. "Mmmm, no more playing around," she said, he lust evident in her voice. "Mate me Darin." He needed no further invitation, with a grunt and a mutual moan he slid into her. Alexstrasza wrapped her arms and a leg around him as he started to build his momentum. She started to moan and groan almost immediately.
"Are all dragons this easy to please?" Darin asked. She shook her head furiously.
"I have never been this aroused with a mortal before, I knew I chose right when I picked you," she said in between moans. She started to mirror his rhythm, thrusting her humanoid hips up into him. Darin put a hand to her breast and started to kneed the soft fleshy scales. Alexstrasza cried out in pleasure, thrusting harder up begging for release. "Faster Darin, faster, so close...so close." Darin's cock brushed her G-spot as he pounded into her, causing her to scream and roar at the same time gushing around him. Darin stopped his furious pounding and slowly moved in and out, keeping her in a state of perpetual orgasm. He let her ride out her climax letting her come down slowly, listening to he moan all the while.
When she regained her breath she rolled him over and started to ride him. There was no words anymore, just the sound of their combined moans. She slowly sped up, using all her millennia of experience to please them both. Darin held her hips and stared into her eyes as she curled her lips and wrinkled her nose cutely in pleasure. Darin rose from the bed, using his stomach muscles for support and met her lips again in a kiss.
"Mate me like a dragon Darin, please. I wish to remember you as a true dragon," she asked softly breaking the kiss. With smooth motions, never leaving her, they changed positions so the he was behind her. Slowly and gently he mated her. She held on to the sheets as Darin's powerful thrusts pushed her forward, then back, causing her to moan in bliss. "Please Darin, cum with me. I want to feel your seed in me." Darin speed up his pace, wishing more then ever to satisfy her. She wrapped her tail around his neck, using it to massage the back of it gently. He groaned loudly and imitated her with his hands on he shoulders. "Mmmm, my mate can't do that," she moaned. He felt her start to tighten around him, but she was soaked with enough of her own juices it was easy to increase his speed, praying he could hold out until she came.
He felt her clamp down on him and he knew it was time. With one final thrust he hilted in her and released his seed into her waiting depths, feeling her own sweet smelling nectar coat his manhood. She screamed loudly and fell the bed. Darin lay on top of her, letting his dick remain imbedded within her. He fired off a few more rounds as he felt her walls milk him for all he had. When he finally went lip he slipped out of her and rolled off her back to lay next to her. She wrapped him in a tight embrace and kissed him again.
"That was the best love a mortal has ever given me," she said honestly. "It can't compare with a dragon, but still more then satisfying." Darin smiled, glad he could serve her.
"To be honest my Queen, I have fantasized about this ever since I was a boy. You have always been my greatest heroin." Alexstrasza looked at him her eyes aglow with appreciation.
"Is that true, young champion?" she asked in mild surprise, he nodded sleepily. "Then bare the mark of the Dragon Queen," she said placing a talon on his back. The image of a great red dragon breathing fire appeared on his back. Darin instantly felt a new strength course through him, like a warm liquid it filled every corner of his body. "You are now marked as my personal Champion among the mortal races, wear the mark with honor and pride." It was all to much for Darin, he passed out on the bed falling into a deep sleep. Alexstrasza stroked his short blond hair with a satisfied smile on her face, she had chosen well.
Darin awoke to see Alexstrasza once again in her Elvin form, rooting through a pile of treasures. She cried out excitedly when she found what she was looking for. She held a golden chain with a large ruby hanging from it that glowed ever so slightly.
"Oh good your awake, I have another gift for you," she said a smile on her lips. "This pendent will keep you safe from harm," she said placing it over his head.
"Thank you my Queen, I will wear it with pride," Darin said calmly. Alexstrasza smiled and stepped back, assuming her true form once again.
"We should return to Northrend, there is much to be done and you, I believe have someone to find." Darin nodded and dressed quickly. The flight back was spent in silence as Darin prayed for the safety of his friends, Alexstrasza dropped him off at the tundra before returning to the Dragon Blight. Before she left Darin looked up into her burning eyes and said.
"May the Light go with you, and guide your way," Alexstrasza nodded.
"And with you as well, Darin Lighsworn," With that she took to the sky and was lost from sight.
