Tracker stood tense, his fur bristling as he looked around him. Standing before him were several younger males, the very type most imagined when they heard the terms "punk" and "thug." There were about four of him, and they were not too happy with him at the moment.

The small group stood there a moment, seeming to size him up and try to look intimidating. They were lean and unkempt. There were also scars to show that the group had been in fights before.

"Don't take it personally," one of them finally said, "but we got orders to make sure nobody hears from you again." As he spoke, he reached into his pocket, pulling out a butterfly knife and swinging it open. The thug licked his lips, then ran to attack.

Tracker let out a grunt of pain as the knife nicked his shoulder, not doing any extensive damage, but hurting and drawing blood. He brought his knee up fast, slamming it into the fur's sternum as hard as he could. Tracker reached up and grabbed the knife, pulling it free from the leader's hand. He worked to return the blade into the handle, slipping it into his pocket.

The other gang members decided to get involved, taking advantage of the half-coyote's distraction to attack him. The moved fast, one landing a punch at the small of his back. There was some laughter as another swung the baseball bat, slamming it into his shoulder hard enough to make a cracking sound from the bone and joint.

Tracker retaliated, regardless of the pain he felt from the bat. He pulled his fist back, slamming it into the thug's jaw as he shoved their leader forward into another of them. He turned to hit the batter again before he can recover. A knife lashed out, lacerating Tracker's back and side.

The struggle continued, the half-dalmatian starting to wish he had brought his pistol with him. Despite being outnumbered and the fact they were armed and the detective was not, he continued fighting back. Even at a disadvantage, the hybrid canine was able to hold his own, though not without injuries from the assault. Several off the gang members were knocked unconscious, and the leader, only one remaining conscious, fled as quickly as he could.

Tracker himself managed to walk out of the alley. His shirt was covered in blood, making it darker and glistening. One hand pressed out to support him against the wall as the other was wrapped around his chest. With the alleyway at an end, he forced himself to push away from the wall. He only managed a few more steps before collapsing. As he looked up, he would swear he saw an angel before blacking out.

The detective slowly regained consciousness, looking around as his eyes started to focus. He laid in a bed, under the sheets. His eyes scanned around the room. There were no personal belongings or such. It looked like a guest room, or the room of someone who was very basic when it came to personal touches. He pushed himself up into the sitting position, letting out a growl of pain as he did. He looked down at the bandages around her midsection and parts of his arms.

"You're finally awake," A feminine voice said. Tracker looked up, and for a moment thought that he saw an angel again. The angelic form moved forward, stepping away from the backlight of the hallway. She became easier to see as she moved forward. A dark gray furred she-wolf with black feathered wings and black hair. She came forward, taking a wet rag and bowl from the side and heading out again, letting her rump wiggle and tail sway.

"I bet you're hungry," the winged she-wolf said as she came back. She brought a tray, setting it down before him. On it was a bowl of what looked like beef broth and some sandwich.

"How long was I out?" Tracker asked, taking the sandwich section and looked at it. He takes a bite, looking at her curiously. The she-wolf's gray eyes seemed to sparkle as a white furred paw reached up to pull her hair back.

"I don't know exactly," she finally told him, "It's been overnight but less then a full day. I guess you were lucky that I was on my way home when you were assaulted in that alley. Oh... I'm Lexiness Whiteraine by the way."

"Tracker McCoy," He said after swallowing some of the sandwich, "and thank you. For the help." He smiled again as he ate more of the sandwich, soon finishing it off before getting to the soup.

"You're welcome," Lexiness responded, "I can't just walk past someone who was laying there hurt." She smiled, not showing her teeth. The smile faded a quickly as she opened her mouth to speak again. "If you don't mind my asking..... What happened?" the half-coyote looked at the full blooded she-wolf a moment before taking a breath.

"It's kind of difficult to explain myself," Tracker admitted, rubbing the back of his head, "I don't know the exact details behind it, but apparently someone wasn't too happy with my detective work." He pushed the sheets aside, seeing he still had his boxers on at least, and moved to start standing up. As soon as he was off the bed, he fell to his knees.

"What are you doing?" She asked in shock, "You're hit and need time to rest in bed and recover." The she-wolf bent down and wrapped an arm around him, helping Tracker stand back up. Despite and slender and dainty she appeared, Lexiness was surprisingly strong and helped him stand up easily enough.

"I can't," Tracker said, pushing away from her slightly, "I have stuff to do and have never been one to sit and do nothing." He started to move forward, but his leg gave out again, bringing him back down. "Unfortunately," He growled, "it looks like I don't have a choice in the matter at the moment." He pushed himself back up with the help of the winged she-wolf, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"There's something I need you to do for me then Miss Whiteraine," the injured canine said, looking at her, "In my wallet should be some business cards. If you could take one and my keys and get me a some fresh clothes?"

"I guess I could later," Lexiness said, helping him lay down again, "In the mean time, you lay down and get some rest." She took the dishes up and took them with her back to the kitchen. The winged she-wolf looked back toward the hall curiously a moment as she set the dishes in the sink and went to have a cup of tea. After drinking it a while she got up and went to peak in on him curiously.

Tracker laid on the bed, not quite asleep but not truly awake either. He shifted in the bed, not aware he was being checked on at the moment. Somewhere along the way, he dozed off and fell asleep. As he slept, he started to dream.

The night was dark and moonless, the coyote-dalmatian hybrid stood in a darkly bricked alley, surrounded by figures with glowing red eyes. It was harder to see more detail as a dark purple fog surrounded him and the others. In the distance, someone was screaming, shouting for him to help them.

Tracker tensed up, ready to fight and defend himself. The creatures in the shadows started to grow, becoming taller and more muscular. The monstrous fangs started to glisten, giving more definition to the creatures. Green tinged saliva spilled from them, hissing loudly when it hit the ground.. The monsters lunged, running to attack him. He felt pain they started at him

Tracker woke up, panting heavily. His fur stood bristled along his back and he could feel his heart slamming against his ribcage rapidly. The canine closed his eyes, taking a deep breath to try to calm down, and started unclenching his paws. Blood started to pool on his paw pads from where his claws had pierced the skin.

"Are you alright?" Lexiness asked curiously, calling his attention out of thinking about what he had just dreamt. The half-coyote, half-dalmatian looked at the winged she-wolf, seeing an expression of genuine concern. She walked closer, bringing a paw to his nose then up to his forehead to check for a fever.

"Yeah," Tracker said softly, pulling her paw away, "Just a bad dream. The efforts catching up with me and letting me know I need some time off is all." He rubbed his chin a moment then looked around, finding a fresh set of clothes folded up on the on the dresser in the room.

"Well, you seem to be a little better," Lexiness said with a slight smile, "I will get you something more to eat." She patted him on the thigh and went back out of the room to get him some food.

Lexiness continued to feed Tracker and help take care of him, working to get the detective better. The two actually started talking during the visits, getting to know each other more and becoming friends as well as nurse and patient. On the third day, the she-wolf was walking back to the living room when a taller male wolf stood up and smiled at her.

"Hey Lexi," the wolf said with a smile, "How's my favorite girl?" His teeth glistened whitely as looked at her a moment, moving forward to give her a hug. The she-wolf responded with a growl and moving back.

"I'm not your girl Nick," She growled, bristling at him, "Favorite or otherwise. Now get out of my house." Her ears pinned against her skull as she pointed toward the door, her fur bristling as she bared her fangs at the wolf, watching him closely.

"Lexi baby," the wolf said, looking at her with a hurt expression, "There's no need to be like that." He moved closer to her. "I bet you can't even remember why our wonderful relationship came to an end."

"YOU WERE CHEATING ON ME NICK!" Lexiness barked, bristling more, "You were seeing someone else behind my back and even proposed to her." She slammed her fist into the wall, taking out a large piece of plaster and paint.

"Lexi, Lexi, Lexi," Nick said, moving to rub her arm, "That's all in the past now baby. You know you're the only one for me. I'm trying to say that I forgive you and I am completely willing to take you back honey." The winged she-wolf snarled and pushed him away.

"I didn't do anything wrong," Lexiness snarled more, "You were the one who cheated on me and I DON'T WANT YOU BACK! Now get out of my house or I will call the police." The she-wolf tensed, ready to hit him if he tried anything. She was not ready enough and got pinned to the wall, the wolf's paws gripping her wrists and pinning them.

"You don't kick me out," Nick growled at her, "and I know you don't mean that." He calmed down some, then looked at her with a smile, but kept her wrists held. "Come on Lexi. Think about it. All the fun times we've had. You know that you can't stop loving me over one tiny mistake."

Lexiness looked at him with defiant anger. If her paws were free she would slap him, maybe with her nails more then her paws, and throw him out. He had done this stuff to her before. Acted sweet and kind but trying to guilt her to stay with him, even when she knew it would be a bad idea. Well she was not going to have it this time. The she-wolf's knee shot up, slamming into the male wolf's crotch as hard as she could.

"Ow, FUCK!" Nick snarled in pain, being forced to let Lexiness go in order to grab his injured genitals. "I can't believe you did that you bitch." The wolf growled, glaring at her as he slowly started to stand, still holding his balls with one paw.

"What's going on here?" Tracker asked suddenly, causing the other two to turn and look at him. The half-coyote leaned against the wall, arms crossed across his chest. He looked calm and collected. In reality, he was actually like this out of necessity. He leaned against the wall for support, feeling like he would collapse. His arms were crossed to hold his chest, feeling the ache in his midsection flare up more then it had in a while.

"It's nothing Tracker," Lexiness said calmly, "Nicholas was just about to leave, weren't you Nick?" She turned to the wolf, giving him a slight glare. Nick did not take notice however. He was pulling his paw away from his still tender crotch, moving toward Tracker and scanning the newer male.

"What's this?" Nick asked with a hint of scorn, "Has the wolf-bitch gotten so desperate for someone to love that she's settled for some lowly coyote blooded mongrel." the wolf's ears pulled back as he gave Tracker a dirty looked. Tracker seemed unmoved by the statement. Lexiness was shocked. In all the time she had been with Nick, she had no idea that he was such a bigot.

"I think it would be best if you took Miss Whiteraine's advice and left peacefully," Tracker said calmly, looking the slightly larger male in the eye. He pushed off the wall and stood up, paws clenched into fists as he tensed most of his body, trying to stand up straight. He swayed slightly, enough to feel it, but luckily not enough to be visibly noticeable.

Nicholas laughed slightly, shaking his head. He pulled back and swung, throwing a punch at Tracker's jaw. Tracker let his knees give out, dropping to them and having the punch go over his head. The half-coyote swung out himself, bringing a closed fist into the side of Nick's sternum. The free paw went lower, taking a hold of the wolf's leg and pulling forward to make him land on his back with a loud thud and a grunt of pain as the air was knocked out of Nicholas's lungs.

"Now leave or go to jail for trespassing and assault," Tracker growled, looking down at the prone wolf. Nick sighed and rolled over. He crawled away slightly before standing up and brushing himself off, keeping an air of dignity about him. He turned to Lexiness and smiled sweetly.

"I will see you later," He said confidently, "This... coyote, won't be able to keep you satisfied the way you need to be and the fact is you can't resist me. You'll come back to me sooner or later Lexi." He fixed his shirt one more time then walked to the door, opened it, turned to blow a kiss to the winged she-wolf, then left.

"That jerk," Lexiness growled, then sighed, "Thank you for helping Tracker. I'm sorry, I had no idea he was so shallow." She turned to Tracker, smiling in appreciation at what he did for her. The winged she-wolf's smile turn to concern as she look

Tracker sat on the floor where he had been left, leaning his back against the wall with his eyes closed. His arms held his mid-section as he tried to take some breaths and calm down his body. The fight did not seem to be much, but it was enough to aggravate the injuries that had already occurred.

Lexiness moves toward Tracker who was already working to push himself up into standing again. The she-wolf took the half-coyote's arm and helped him up. He tried to push away a moment, but found himself too weak and could not actually make the trip back on his own as he had hoped.

Tracker was put back in bed, and stayed there except when he had to use the restroom. Lexiness continued to play nurse for him, smiling as she brought food and talking to him about different things. As days passed, he got better, soon able to walk on his own, though slowly and limping some.

The winged she-wolf watched the half-coyote from time to time as he healed. Her tail and wings shifted some as she watched him, seeing something familiar in the canine detective that she could not quite place.

She sat on the side of the bed, removing the bandages from around his chest. The she-wolf's paw lingered a moment, feeling the muscles the were hidden beneath the thick fur. Lexiness slid her paw down, feeling across his ribs and down along his stomach.. She let out a slight murr without realizing it as she caressed his body.

Tracker closed his eyes slightly, letting out a murr himself at the feel of the soft female paw on his body. At that moment something overcame him. He sat up, bringing his muzzle to hers. The half-dalmatian's arms wrapped around the winged she-wolf's waist, pulling her closer.

Lexiness let out a slight noise of surprise. She wrapped her arms around him, gripping at his back and her tail starting to wave behind her in excitement, unknowingly for her spreading the scent of her rapidly growing arousal through out the room. She opened her muzzle to have her tongue explore his mouth, but Tracker pulled away, breaking the kiss.

The canine detective looked at the winged lupine atop him and smiled, licking his lips. He reached down, taking a hold of the base of her shirt and pulling up, sliding it free and exposing her inviting and unrestrained breasts. Tracker leaned forward, rubbing his nose against her nipple and licking along the outer edge.

Lexiness let out a slight moan of pleasure, gripping the back of her head and holding him in place.. She shifted her body, pressing down atop of him and grinding her hips against his. The she-wolf gave a slight shiver of pleasure at the swelling bulge that pressed against her.

Tracker took the nipple into his mouth, letting out a slight growl to make it vibrate. He slid his paws down, reaching her jeans and sliding around to pull them open at the fly. He moved his head with her chest, keeping a hold of the hardening nipple and suckling as he pulled her jeans off.

Lexiness reached down, pulling the sheets off of the male beneath her. She slid her paws up along his thighs, reaching his boxers and pulling them off as well. The winged she-wolf moved her paws up again, reaching the coyote's sheath and hardened shaft sticking out from it. She gave several strokes, sliding her paw across the knot and up to the tip.

Tracker released the nipple, looking up at her as he licked his lips. He slid his nails up along the back of her thighs, teasing the sensitive skin, then gripping her firm rear and giving it a squeeze. He moves up, giving her another kiss as he pulls her closer. He opens his muzzle, this time letting their tongues explore each others as they shift, lining the tip of his shaft up with her wet and excited vaginal lips.

Lexiness pushed down as she felt him push up, pressing past her opening and sinking his shaft into her tight vaginal canal. She broke the kiss this time, tilting her head back and letting out a moan of pleasure as her body was filled. Her eyes turned darker as she felt the knot press up against her lips, and gave the longer, sharper, canine teeth in her mouth a lick as she grinded her hips down against his, wanting the knot inside her now.

Tracker gripped her firm rump and massaged it gently. He pressed his chest against hers, rubbing his chest fur against Lexiness's nipples as he pushed up to grind the knot against her vaginal lips. He licked at her throat, letting his canine tongue dampen the fur. Tracker's paws gripped her rear tighter, pulling her to slide up as he pulled his hips back, sliding the shaft out of her to the tip.

"Tie with me," She growled in feral pleasure. The she-wolf reached around, gripping and caressing his back, leaving small red scratch marks in the skin under the fur. Lexiness thrust down hard, slamming herself onto the knot and grinding as she tried to take it into her. Her hips pulled up fast and slammed down hard again, wanting it in her. Her had a darkness about them as she pumped down, slamming herself against the bulge of flesh and trying to take it within her. She pulled him closer, moaning as she felt his tongue lick at her fur and his fur tickle her hardened nipples.

Tracker let out a slight grunt each time he was fully inside her body, feeling the tightness around him. The need from Lexiness got to him and he started thrusting up into her as fast and hard as he could, slapping his hips up against hers and trying to tie with her. He gripped at her rear, letting the nails trace along the crack of her cheeks and tease the base of her tail.

Lexiness pushed down hard as Tracker pushed up, forcing the knot into her depths and setting off her orgasm. She let out a growl of pain and pleasure as it entered her, stretching her lips but filling her wonderfully. Her canal gripped and squeezed tightly, trying to milk the shaft for every drop of warm thick fluid inside that it was not yet giving.

The she-wolf's eyes returned to normal as the orgasm subsided and a part of her was sated, blinking some as she let out a slow murr. She tilted her head down and started kissing Tracker, her hips slowly rocking and grinding to feel the canine shaft move around inside her depths.

Tracker murred and kissed her back. He held her tight against him, letting a paw stroke the thickly furred wolf tail as the other slides up along her spine. He lapped at her and nibbled, pulling his hips up to tug against her vaginal lips without pulling free of the warm wetness, then pushing up to sink himself as deep into her warm tightness as he could.

"mmm," Lexiness moaned in pleasure, "Oh... Tracker." She started to speed up, feeling herself building to a second orgasm. "Please," she whimpered, looking at her. "I'm getting close. Cum in me. Cum with me-" her words turned into a moan, almost howl, of pleasure as she hit her orgasm. The canal gripped like a vice and started to pump hard.

Tracker tilted his head back and snarled as he pushed up into her depths. He held her tight as the knot swelled as big as it could, locking him in place deep inside her warm tight depths. The coyote-dalmatian hybrid's body tensed, holding her tight against him. His shaft swelled and twitched, unleashing the thick ropes of warm fluid deep into her body.

The two murred and panted slightly as the orgasms subsided, licking at each other gently, enjoying the afterglow a moment. The two caressed each other gently, occasionally finding a scar on the other such as the one's on Tracker's forearm or the bitemarks on Lexiness's shoulder. The caressing led to holding and the talking led to kissing. The two enjoyed the company of each other intimately multiple times through the night. They had become close friends and were expressing the appreciation for each other for all that happened between them. When they were finally finished, they slept, cuddled up against each other closely and happily.

Tracker awoke at noon, in bed alone. He sat up and looked around a moment, finding a note on the clothes she had brought from his apartment early on. There were small hints of tears on it as he read what she wrote.

"Dear Tracker," she had written, "Thank you for last night, it was simply wonderful. I'm sorry I wasn't here when you awoke, but I couldn't bring myself to say goodbye. You are better and it is time for you to go. I know we will see each other again someday soon and I look forward to it. You're a good male and wonderful friend. All the same, I can't look at you as you go and say good bye. Love, Lexiness Whiteraine."

Tracker folded up the note, swallowing to get rid of the forming lump in his throat. He took a hold of his jeans and stuck it the paper into his pocket. He pulled the boxers on then the jeans since he already had them at paw. He took a breath to calm down some as he pulled his shirt on and tucked it in. Finally, he pulled on his jacket and adjusted it, walking out of the room and looking around the room. He smiled slightly as he looked at the house he had been in to recover from before. He swallowed again as he walked out, hoping it would not be long before he saw Lexiness again.
