I'll Come Back
Chapter 59
Lying with her back on Keme's chest, Iniwa's huge breasts flapped hard in her face as he fucked her. She had woken Keme up that morning for sex, and he was gladly giving it to her. His big cock punched in and out, so hard he could see her juices splashing. She moaned for it harder, faster, and he obliged. Her slender arms reached back to hold his neck and she arched her back against him as she was sent to heights of pleasure she had never even dreamed of. She screamed so loud, Keme knew the neighbors would be gossiping for months.
When they had both come and were lying together on the pillows, Keme stroked Iniwa's mane and felt a twinge of guilt. While it was true that he liked her - and he was definitely enjoying all the sex - he also knew that, deep down, he was using her so that he wouldn't have to think of Seleste. Seleste, who was married to his brother. Seleste, who might have been fucked by his brother the night before in the same exact manner . . . the very thought made him wince.
Lying beside Keme, Iniwa looked up at him with hooded eyes. She licked her lips. "Daddy chose well this time," she said contently. She sat up. "I'll make breakfast for you now, my husband. And then I must to the market. I sale baked goods." She got up and buttoned on a shawl that she pulled from the closet, and Keme remembered: now that she was married, her breasts belonged to him, and she must go about with them covered.
Keme had to admit that he was just as pleased with the match: Iniwa was a great cook. Under normal circumstances, he would have gone out on patrol with the other warriors, but Keme insisted on going to market with his wife. He carried her baskets of goods easily for her, and as she stood at her stall in the summer village's small market, he spent the day playing with the curious pups who followed him about, helping her sell her goods, and meeting other young husbands and fathers.
At noon, they took lunch under the great pavilion, then Iniwa insisted on sucking his dick behind a tree. He asked her if she wasn't afraid of being seen, but she only licked her lips at him and pulled him to his feet. Keme grinned: she had an adventurous side that he enjoyed greatly.
When they returned from their little misadventure, Iniwa's mother happily met them at the stall. She seemed to know exactly what they'd been up to, and Keme was shocked when she not only encouraged it but started giving Keme pointers.
". . . arch your back when you really need to get in," Iniwa's mother was saying. "And keep in mind that a little foreplay goes a long way!"
"Mother!" Iniwa cried and squeezed her eyes shut.
Keme laughed as he thought of Avi: he knew exactly how she felt.
"I want grandpups!" Iniwa's mother protested. She eyed Keme's cock a moment, then smiled at him. "But what am I worrying for? You seem more than well equipped to provide them. See you later, dears!" She pinched Keme's cheek before strolling off, her basket under her arm.
When dusk had come, Keme helped Iniwa pack up her stall and carried her goods again for her as they walked home. He stopped when they reached the house. "I should have told you this before," he said apologetically.
Carrying a small basket in her slender arms, Iniwa peered up at him around the sweep of her wildly long mane. "Told me what, Keme?"
"We've got to go over to my father's for dinner. And then after, I'm leaving."
Iniwa's ears pricked forward. "Leaving!" she cried.
Keme hated how frightened those pretty round eyes could get. "Don't worry, Iniwa - I'm coming back! My sister needs my help. I have to go with my father to see her."
Iniwa's frightened eyes hadn't shifted from his face. "How long will it take? Is it dangerous? What sort of trouble is your sister in? Maybe I could make medicine for her --"
"That's very kind," Keme said fondly, "but I doubt any medicine could help her. You'll be safe, Iniwa. My family will look in on you. You could even stay with my father's wives if you wanted. In fact, I'm going to ask you to." He looked down at her anxiously.
Keme could see that Iniwa was warmed by his concern. Her ears flattened and she smiled. "I will. Anything you ask."
Keme smiled back. He leaned down and kissed her.
Iniwa's lips twisted in a smirk. "If you're really going to leave, my husband . . . perhaps one final night of passion is in order?" Still holding the basket, she jerked one shoulder up, mashing the great mounds of her cleavage together as she flicked her tail suggestively.
Keme didn't need further encouragement. He watched a moment as she sashayed into the house, hips and tail swinging, then he dropped the baskets and quickly followed her inside.
Later that evening, they took supper at Kilyan's home, and Keme was finally able to meet his father's other wives.
Kilyan's first wife was Lea, an incredibly sweet female with lush white fur and black stripes cutting down her back and into her tail. She cried when she saw Keme and hugged him tight because - as she managed to tell him through her sobs - he looked exactly like Wynn. Her long white mane fell around Keme as she held him, and the sweet smell of her was nearly intoxicating.
Kilyan's second wife was Ohana, a silver female who was very tall and always smirking. When Keme looked at her, he could see Zane's eyes in her face, complete with the same white stripes and ever-twinkling joy. She teased Keme, calling him handsome and joking with Kilyan that he always turned out such good-looking sons. So saying, she turned to Zane and pinched his cheek hard. Zane was three heads taller than his mother, but wearily allowed this to happen - much to Keme's amusement.
Zane had come with his own two wives, Mora and Nyssa. They were female replicas of their sons, with great breasts, jutting asses, and wide hips. They doted on Zane, clinging to his big arms, giggling at Ohana's jokes, and forcing more food on Keme.
The winged warrior Inden also arrived with his family, and Keme was a little taken aback to realize Inden was married . . . to a pygmy. Inden's wife was small and shapely and barely the size of a child, with pale brown fur very much like Seleste's. She kept her mane pulled back in a low tail that fell down her narrow back. Her name was Elele. When Keme saw her, he greeted her in pygmy, and she was so startled, she simply stared. They fell into easy conversation after that, and Keme could tell it had been a very long time since Elele had been able to speak her native tongue with someone: apparently, Avi only deigned to speak pygmy when she wished to speak to Keme.
Inden and Elele had a small daughter named Dezzira. Keme quickly learned that everyone called her Dezzi, for her name was constantly being screamed by her mother or growled by Inden or shouted by Avi. She was a mischievous girl, constantly getting into this and that, pranking her elders, and pulling Aviine's ears. She and Aviine looked to be around the same age, and it was quite clear the boy was taken with her. She bossed him around and he grumbled under his breath - but he did everything she asked. She looked exactly like her mother, with smaller breasts and thinner hips, and there was nothing of serious Inden in her whatsoever - nothing but her wings. A small pair of pale wings sprouted from her back, and they fluttered each time she looked at Keme.
Keme was soon to come to the unhappy realization that Dezzi had something of a crush on him. She would stare at him in a wide-eyed fascination that reminded him a great deal of Iniwa. As dinner commenced, she did whatever she could to wind up near Keme, and after accidentally-on-purpose spilling something near him, she seized the chance to accidentally-on-purpose touch his dick. Luckily, Elele picked right up on this and snatched her daughter's naughty paw before the molestation could happen. Frowning irritably, Inden grabbed up Dezzira's plate and marched her down the hall. He returned alone, and it was apparent that Dezzi would not be returning for that night's supper.
"I'm sorry," Elele said to Keme wearily. "She's such a pawful."
"Who can blame her?" Iniwa said with girlish delight. She hugged Keme's arm and smiled up at him, her large eyes doting. "It's hardly surprising that she would want Keme, but it's the cutest thing I've ever seen!"
Elele laughed. "Yes, it's always cute to wolves who don't have to raise her."
Iniwa grinned. "Touché, Elele."
Keme glanced over at Aviine, who was sitting beside Avi and looking sulky. Poor kid. "Hey, Aviine, think fast!" Keme shouted. He threw one of Lea's famously tiny bread rolls across the fire. Aviine grinned and caught it in his mouth.
"Boys," Kilyan warned, though clearly amused. Glancing at Avi's disapproving scowl, Keme knew Kilyan was only scolding them to avoid a scolding from his wife.
Iniwa giggled. "I love your family!" she whispered to Keme.
Keme's eyes softened. "And I love you," he whispered back.
Iniwa's ears pricked forward. Perhaps she had never expected to hear those words - at least not so soon. But Keme knew it was true. He had gone into the marriage believing he was going to hate his wife no matter what simply because the marriage was something he did not want. But after spending such a day with Iniwa - kissing her, holding her, laughing with her, holding paws with her - he was suddenly very grateful to have her for a wife. She was so good to him, and she didn't have to be: she hadn't wanted the marriage any more than he. He loved what he knew of her so far. Only time could tell how he might feel later.
"You . . .?" Iniwa whispered happily.
"Me," Keme answered playfully and he kissed her tenderly on the lips. She closed her eyes and dropped her head in content against him, and when he looked up, he saw Kilyan and Avi smiling at him across the fire.
"Knock, knock!" shouted a laughing voice.
Lea looked up and grinned. "Keeno!"
Two new wolves entered the hut, beaming as everyone happily greeted them. One was a male, the other was a female.
The female was beautiful: slanted sapphire eyes, black fur, and a lustrous black mane that fell to her waist -- a waist that was unbelievably narrow. Her lashes fluttered prettily as her eyes passed over the gathering until they found Kilyan, and she frowned. "Dragging my husband off to danger again!" she complained.
Keme saw Kilyan roll his eyes. "Not this again, Zalia. This is important - my daughter is --"
"I know," the apparent Zalia said over him, and her eyes softened with worry.
Ah. So that was Aunt Zalia - Enya's mother. Looking at her, she didn't seem as wild and temperamental as Enya had described. In fact, she looked very worried. She went to Kilyan, and after greeting his wives, she squeezed in beside her brother and started talking with him in low voices.
The male who had come with Zalia was certainly her husband. Kilyan had mentioned him a few times. His name was Keeno, a tan muscular warrior with a smirking disposition not unlike Ohana's. He swaggered into the room, and Keme saw Zane and Inden go to him. Ah. It was time to leave.
Iniwa seemed to sense this as well. She looked at Keme sadly as the chatter in the room rose: husbands were saying goodbye to their wives, wives were fussing and handing over traveling packs, and Dezzi had come barreling from the hall to cling to Inden's waist. She held on to her father, begging him not to go. He shushed her and promised that he would return with her favorite flowers.
As Dezzira begged and wheedled, Aviine started doing some whining of his own. He begged Kilyan to let him come, and when Kilyan steadfastly refused, his protests became more insistent. Finally, it was Avi who calmed him by stroking his mane and reminding him that Keme was already coming: they did not wish to risk two sons.
Keme got to his feet, and Iniwa sadly gave him the traveling pack she had prepared for him earlier that night.
"I put in those little cheeses," she said and gazed at him hopefully, as if awaiting his approval. "I know how you like them. And your canteen is full . . ." She sighed and her lip trembled. He could only imagine how hard this was for her: she had just lost a husband, now she might lose another. And if that happened, there was no telling what sort of male her father might give her to next.
Keme took her paw and pulled her off to the side of the room. "You noticed my mother is shemale, right?"
Iniwa nodded. "And a village elder. It's what impressed my parents enough to consider the match."
"I'm shemale too. I have her strength. It's how --"
"-- you flipped me around like that when we --!"
"Shh!" Keme said over her. He was suddenly terrified she would be overheard talking about their sex life. Oh god no.
Iniwa giggled at Keme's sudden panic. "Sorry . . ."
"I was given this magic talisman," Keme told her. He showed her the bracelet on his bulging upper arm.
Iniwa's pretty eyes grew round with curiosity. She started to reach for the bracelet but paused apologetically. Keme nodded that it was alright, and smiling at him, her slender fingers touched the bracelet gently. Her fingers smoothed over his muscles, she bit her lip, and he knew she was also thinking of his arms around her the night before. His strong arms. Lifting her so easily. Bending her. Holding her.
"Now nothing can take my strength. So long as I have this, my chances of coming back to you aren't as bad as you'd think."
Iniwa smiled. "Coming back to me. I like the sound of that."
"I wish I could . . . hold you," Keme whispered, "one last time."
Iniwa gazed up at him, startled. "You'll miss me?"
"Of course," laughed Keme. "You're my first wife! I thought I was going to hate being married. But having someone like you . . . it's not so bad. Not so bad at all."
Iniwa smiled warmly. "I'm glad you feel that way. Come back to me, my husband."
"Be here when I come back. Don't go . . . visiting any sick relatives . . . or sunning in the beaches far south."
Iniwa laughed. Keme kissed her fingers. He touched her cheek a moment, as if he was memorizing her face, then he moved past her to follow the others outside. Kilyan and the others had already gone, leaving their wives behind.
As he was reaching the curtain, Keme noticed that Zane had hung back. Lea, Ohana, Elele, and Zalia were sitting around the fire, and Zane had remained there as well with his wives. Dezzira was sulking with her head on Elele's shoulder, and according to the chatter, Aviine had gone off to bed. Iniwa joined them at the fire and sat, a small smile of content on her lips as she watched Keme. Looking at them all, it hit Keme for the first time that Avi was no where in sight.
"Hello, nephew," Zalia said. Her pretty blues peered up at him from behind the sweep of her black mane. Her gaze was warm with affection.
Keme smiled at her. "Hello, Aunt Zalia."
"How's my Enya?"
"Just like you," Keme returned playfully and Zalia laughed.
Keme looked at Zane. "Aren't you . . .?"
"Coming?" Zane finished for him. "Nah. Chances are you'll be heading near the mountain tribe and I've . . . . let's just say I've had my fill of them. Besides, someone has to look after Aviine and our mothers." He nodded at Kilyan's wives. "Take care, little brother."
Keme nodded in turn and headed outside. He had to wonder just what had happened to make Zane not want to help his sister. Zane had spoken very fondly of Wynn over dinner. The fact that he wasn't willing to travel to the fox kingdom to help her told Keme that something terrible must've happened once.
Outside, Kilyan, Avi, Keeno, and Inden were waiting for Keme. Kilyan and Keeno appeared to be bickering, while winged Inden stood at Avi's side, his spear on his shoulder and a weary glaze in his eye.
Avi was wearing a different shawl and matching skirt. Both were a very dark gray, and on the shawl was a hood. The fur hood was pulled up around her long mane, and wisps of it slapped her eyes as they turned to Keme. Keme could see the faint glimmer of the gold necklace that was hidden within the folds of her shawl.
". . . just wanted to be sure you want to do this," Kilyan was saying. "I know what happened with the mountain wolves stayed with you --"
"Kilyan," Keeno said firmly, "I'm not gonna piss down my tail if I have to see the mountain wolves again! I said I'm coming. That's it. You and Zalia can talk 'til the cows come home. But Wynn is my niece. I love her too."
Kilyan stared at his friend wearily, but it was clear he wasn't going to argue anymore.
Looking at them both, Keme had to wonder what the hell had happened with the mountain tribe. Given Talisa's stories, he knew it was a harsh place of intolerance. Tail chasers and the females like them were hated, and females were barely tolerated as warriors: Talisa's mother had been a rare exception.
"Keme ready to go?" Avi said. She smirked. "Say goodbye to sweet wife?"
"Mom . . ." Keme warned.
Avi laughed. "Avi happy to see Keme happy." She came to Keme and they smiled at each other.
"What'd I miss?" Keeno wondered.
Kilyan beamed proudly. "Both my boys got married yesterday. Guess I can expect more grandpups soon?" He looked at Keme. "Zane gave me two - how many will you give me?"
Keeno laughed when Keme rubbed his eyes. "Cut it out, Kil. You're embarrassin' the crap outta him."
"But that's my job," Kilyan said happily. "Come on, let's move out. LiAnh should be waiting at the gates."
"LiAnh?" Keme repeated sharply.
They set off down the dark street. Keeno and Avi walked either side of Kilyan. Keme and Inden followed close behind.
"Yes," Kilyan answered, and he sounded very tired. "The village council was up in arms about his decision to join us on this journey. And, of course, Mio and Zee are coming as well. Anywhere your brother goes, they are certain to follow --"
"LiAnh made them royal protectors," Keeno added. "Just like Inden over there."
"And then of course . . ." Kilyan cleared his throat. "The chieftess is coming . . ."
"What!" Keme almost stumbled to a halt but made himself keep going.
A look of sympathy crossed Kilyan's face. "I know, son. I asked LiAnh to make her stay behind. It isn't safe --"
"The hell it isn't," Keme agreed darkly. Was LiAnh crazy? How could he think to bring Seleste along on such a journey?
"She insisted on coming," Kilyan told Keme. "I really can't understand why. She doesn't even know Wynn. I mean, she . . ."
The group halted as Kilyan's voice trailed into silence. Everyone looked at Keme, and he knew they were all thinking the same thing: Seleste was coming to help Keme.
Kilyan cleared his throat and led them on. "The gates are this way."
As Keme had dreaded, LiAnh and Seleste were waiting just outside the gates to the northern forest. With them were Mio and Zee, and about five other royal protectors wearing the same leather thongs and skirts. Mio looked very uncomfortable in his skirt and thong, but Zee looked as cold and inscrutable as ever.
Seeing his father approaching, LiAnh waved the five royal protectors away, and they nodded and entered the village again, leaving LiAnh alone with Seleste, Mio, and Zee.
Keme saw Seleste and his heart started pounding in his chest. He tried to drop behind the others so he could avoid having to meet her gaze. She was beautiful. She stood in a silver shawl and skirt that was very much like Avi's, only the outfit was almost white in color. Again much like Avi's, her shawl had a hood and the hood was drawn up over her pale mane. A silver circlet was around her forehead and Keme knew it marked her as chieftess: he had seen Talisa wearing something similar the day of her wedding.
Seleste's naked belly trembled a little when she saw Keme and her lashes fluttered. She looked right at him expectantly, and he had to wonder what the hell she expected. For him to run to her, hug her, kiss her? It was as if she'd forgotten anyone else was there.
Keme saw the male beside Seleste frown, and glaring at Keme, he put his arm around her and pulled her close. Keme's heart burned. The male could only be his brother LiAnh. He was everything Kilyan and Zane had often described: tall, handsome, arrogant, and with white fur very much like Lea's. His long white mane was pulled back in a low tail, and around his forehead was a silver circlet very similar to Seleste's. The blue jewel in the center set off his bright eyes wonderfully.
"Why did you bring him?" LiAnh demanded as soon as they approached. He nodded curtly in Keme's direction.
Kilyan's face darkened. "Whether you like it or not, my son," he said patiently, "no matter that you are chief, I will always be your father - and Keme will always be your brother. Now get moving." With that, he marched past LiAnh and into the trees.
Inden and Keeno followed Kilyan, and Keeno gave LiAnh a comforting clap on the shoulder as he passed.
LiAnh glared at Keme again, then turned and led Seleste away with him. She glanced back miserably a last time before she disappeared with LiAnh into the trees. Glaring at Keme as well, Mio and Zee followed.
Keme stared after Seleste, and it took him a long time to realize Avi was standing there with him.
"Keme alright?" she asked.
"No," he told her. He smiled down at her, "But I will be."
Avi smiled back, glad to see he was handling things well. She laughed when he tickled her ear and whispered, "Let's go!"
