I just can't stop replaying the battle over and over in my head, still trying to wrap my head around one thing. It seemed that as Rion got hit, I felt his pain. But the question was why?

Rion is upstairs sleeping, maybe I should.........no I can't wake him up for something so stupid. Besides all we need to do is go out and try to find his parents, no need to delve into my problems when we need to focus on his.

Suddenly I heard a cry for help, and the only other person in the house is.....

"Rion!" I yelled as I made my way up the stairs and into my room. When I opened the door, I saw Rion tossing and turning violently in his sleep. I was about to run over and help him out of his nightmare when I remembered what happened the last time I did it. But I quickly shrugged that off as I realized that he needed help, and I was the only one who could help.

I got over to the side of the bed and I picked him up and tried my hardest to get him to wake him up. After rocking and calling his name for a few moments, I saw his sparkly red eyes open. I looked over and smiled at him.

"Did you have another nightmare?" I asked.

He nodded his head as he looked at floor feeling sad. I have had enough of these nightmares, I need to find out what is causing them.

"Rion, I need you to tell me what your nightmares have been about."

I could tell that he was nervous as his back tensed up as I asked the question. He looked up at me and sighed as he told me about the first nightmare. This doesn't make any sense, I made myself out to be such a nice person, why would someone want me dead? Then he told me this one was the same, but the difference was that afterwards, he said that I came up to him saying that, "I'm leaving you here, goodbye Rion."

He started to tear up and whimper a little bit. I looked down and saw how sad he was, it made me just as sad just by hearing it. I lifted him up a little, and gave him a kiss on his forehead. I then looked him in his wet eyes.

"Rion, listen to me. I am not going to leave you, and even if I do it won't be like that. I would never hurt your feelings like that, never."

He looked at me and then gave me a hug and said, "Thank you." That made me feel so great to have him be happy again.

"Now get some sleep Rion, we have a big day tomorrow." I placed him down in the bed and turned out the lights, "Goodnight Rion."

Sleep.......I really need sleep.........

I went downstairs and got on the couch to sleep.

The next day

Me and Rion were back at the forest to continue our training. My parents are supposed to be coming home tonight, so we want to be back a bit earlier than yesterday. We practiced with the doll from yesterday, and we even fought some wild Pokemon. It was starting to get late as the sun was setting, so we started to head back. Suddenly, Rion rose from on top of my shoulders and sniffed the air. Before I could ask what was wrong, he jumped off of my shoulders and ran deeper into the forest. I tried calling his name and asking him what was wrong, but to no avail. He finally stopped when he reached an open part in the forest, I then questioned why he ran away in which he replied in a shaky voice....

"I've been here before."

I started to get a little creeped out and asked if we could go when I felt a pair of paws grab my arms from behind.

"Hey, what's going o...." I said before I looked at who grabbed me, it was a black and red Lucario. This must be Rion's mother!

Rion looked over and became wide eyed in horror as he saw who it was. I then saw another Lucario, and another, and another! There was about 13 Lucarios in the clearing when one of them spoke.

"Why did you take this child away from us?" One of them said, this one wasn't black and red, but a regular blue and black. He spoke without using his mouth, telepathy.

"I didn't take him away from you, I protected him because I saw his egg out in the middle of the forest all alone!" I shouted as the paws gripping my arms tightened.

"So you admit to stealing the child from us?" he asked again.

"Can you not hear me? I said....."

"Enough!" He shouted, and that shut me up right away. "For the crime of stealing from us, I have a perfect punishment for you."

The figure behind me pulled me down to the ground as a few Lucarios surrounded me and held me down.

"No please let me go!" DJ yelled out to the pack, "I didn't do anything wrong, you've got to believe me!"

Rion's mother than pulled out what seemed to be a shining blue sword out of thin air and looked straight into my face, that's when I knew what was going to happen.

"No PLEASE STOP!" I screamed as hard as I could, "SOMEBODY PLEASE, HELP ME!"

I then heard a scuffle to my right as I saw Rion being held by a Lucario to stop him from interfering. He was crying, this was his nightmare, and he was living it.

I then saw his mother raising the blade and then...............silence. It was as if time was standing still. Nothing moved or made a sound.

She brought the sword down and chopped my left arm clean off. There was so much pain that I couldn't even scream, only gasp for air that was there. I looked over and saw the blood just pour out of it, I also saw my arm that got sliced off away from it. One of the Lucarios picked my arm up and threw it deeper into the forest. They then all let go of me and my first instinct was to cover up the wound with the only thing available, my shirt. I got up, searing pain in what was left of my arm, and looked at Rion's mother.

"Might as well say goodbye to him, because you will never see him again." I heard her say as she pointed at Rion.

Damn damn damn damn! I have to do it? That will tear him apart. I walked over to him and crouched down and looked at him.

"Rion.......I-I have to go now, I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise but, you will be.............safer with them."

He started to yell something but I couldn't really hear him, I lost too much blood to hear at all. I simply just got up and walked towards the pathway, I couldn't bring myself to look back and see his face. I went by brush and trees to find myself on the pathway. I was in such a deep part of the forest that I couldn't really tell which way was the way back to town.

Too much blood was lost, my vision got really blurry. I just gave up and laid down on the pathway to accept my fate. So this is what it feels like to die?

Right before I completely lost my sight, I swear I saw Rion's eyes................
