The day of the basketball match, everyone from the basketball team was getting ready for the match with a full day of practise so they don't have to go to lesson, gabumon felt so bored without agumon, guilmon, and gaomon in lesson with it wasn't even worth him being in lesson because he was ahead of everything, it was like being back at his old school, "Gabumon am I boring you?" asked andromon

"Oh no sir, I was um, I'm sorry I just lost focus," replied gabumon

"Oh well I don't blame you for being bored I got nothing for you to do since you're ahead of everyone, why don't you go for a early lunch?" said andromon

"But sir there still like another half an hour left before lunch," said gabumon

"Yes I know but at the moment there is nothing I can give you to do unless you want to help me with marking some paper work?" said andromon

"No it ok I got for the early lunch break," said gabumon

So gabumon went to get his lunch, he not tutoring falcomon because he training in the gym with agumon and the other, then suddenly renamon, biyomon and gotomon came up to him wondering why he look so down.

"What wrong gabumon?" asked renamon

"Nothing really, I'm just so bored not having agumon, guilmon and gaomon around," said gabumon

So the four of them finished their lunch and made their way to the gym, where the basketball and check if they can watch the team practices, but coach weregarurumon didn't let gabumon in, but he let gotomon, biyomon and renamon in, maybe it because agumon, guilmon and gaomon cant concentrate, but gotomon, biyomon and renamon wont go in without out gabumon, it just not fair to leave gabumon by himself, gabumon just smiled and said "Go in I'll be ok, say hi to everyone for me ok?" So gotomon, biyomon and renamon went into the gym with a guilty feeling because they all got to go in and gabumon didn't. Gabumon just walked around for a bit then the bell went, gabumon knew he had music next and it was just right around the corner, so he though to himself, "If I can play my cards right and get the viewing gallery he can watch the guys practices and also give them something to listen to." So gabumon ran to music he knew if he were late shogungekomon would go crazy at him even though gabumon is his favourite student.

"Gabumon you early for lesson, no one even here yet," said shogungekomon

"Well I wanted to practise some music in the viewing gallery is that with you sir?"

"Sure of course, I true, you make wonder music so go on ahead I'll bring everyone in a little bit so watch so go get some practise for you show us," said shogungekomon.

So gabumon grabbed a guitar and walked into the viewing gallery and the certain was close, gabumon though to himself "Good my plan is working just like I expected", he can hear the team training he got a chair and start practising the first song he ever learned to played. So gabumon open the certain and all the basketball was sat they're watching with biyomon, gotomon, renamon and coach weregarurumon, they were cheering for gabumon.

"Oh I though since the basketball team been working so hard today we should give them some entertainment before the game," said shogungekomon

Everyone was cheering was whistling and saying "play it again, play it again,"

Then bell went and that was the end off the day gabumon put the stuff away and ran off to go get koromon and dorimon because he knew that they wanted to watch the basketball game tonight. So he ran all the way home first and packet something for tonight, like some food and a change of clothes (his uniform for cheerleading and his uniform for work beside that a change of clothes for this brother and sister), so he ran out of the flat and ran to the primary school he was still a little bit early, so he sat down on a bench to get his breath back and though, "I wonder which school are we playing tonight?" Then he heard all the little Digimon coming out of the doors, he saw koromon and dorimon running towards him saying "big brother where over here,"

"Hay are you two ready to go?" asked gabumon

"Don't we need to go home and get change?" ask koromon

"No I got a change of clothes for all of us," said gabumon

"Wow big brother your planning fast aint you," said dorimon

"Yeah because we don't want to be late for the game, and I also wanted to get ready before the match start," said gabumon

Koromon and dorimon just nodded their head, and they began to walk back to school so that everyone can get ready. So gabumon went to the girl changing room to get ready before the match, the team was nervous, because they haven't played this school for a while, gabumon just said "Good luck you guys do your best, I know you guys will win tonight"

So everyone left the changing room and went to the court, to start the basketball match, the basketball game start and gabumon was cheering his heart out for his school with the cheerleader, lucky the team was in the lead the score 3-1. Blackveemon didn't like gabumon cheering for anyone else unless it was for him, so then blackveemon decided to throw the basketball at dorimon, the ball was flying straight to dorimon gabumon saw it and he couldn't get to dorimon in time, then suddenly Terriermon caught the ball and said "Thanks I'll take this and passed the ball to guilmon for him to shoot it into the basket, "Damn it he got in my way," said blackveemon, then coach blackmetalgreymon called for a time out, so both team gather together, to sort out their game plan, gabumon grabbed koromon and dorimon and said "Stay behind me, knowing blackveemon he will try and get to me, by hurting you guys." Koromon and dorimon listen to gabumon and did what he said, gotomon then said "Don't worry gabumon, agumon told us everything about your passed, and we got your back," and the whole cheer squad nodded their heads.

"We even got koromon and dorimon backs as well," said biyomon

The game got back to play and the score was 15-14 to gabumon old school, blackveemon then started playing dirty by standing on everyone feet, then impmon and goblinmon double team veemon knocking out, "Hay that cheating," shouted palmon they carried it to do it to everyone injuring them leaving agumon, guilmon and gaomon left on the court, then the referee angemon said "you need one more player on your team or you will have to forfeit the game,"

"Damn it were so close to winning we need one more player," said guilmon

"But where are we going to find a extra player from we only have 1 min left before the game and the score is 22-22," said gaomon

"Oh man this isn't fair at all," said agumon

"Hay gotomon can you keep a eye on koromon and dorimon for me I got an idea I need to talk to coach," said gabumon

Making the score 24-22.

"Yes were in the lead," said guilmon

"Be careful the game not over yet, the next five second, can make a different trust me I know these guys," said gabumon

"So basically we can let our guard down," said gaomon

"Yeah these will do anything to win, especially blackveemon," said gabumon

So with only 5 second left blackveemon started of by pushing everyone out of the way to make it all the way to the net to he can make it a draw, but the guilmon steals the ball, then impmon tackles guilmon to get the ball,

"Watch out gaomon," shouted gabumon

Gabumon ran to gaomon but impmon throws ball into gaomon face knocking gaomon, the ball rebounded into Blackveemon hand and he said, "I wont lose to you loser," but agumon took the ball out of his hand and the whistle, and that was the end of the game. Everyone ran to gabumon to congratulate him, saying "Good job" gabumon just blushed and said, "We did it together, as a team"

"Let go and celebrate," said gotomon

"Yeah that a good idea," said veemon

"I know the perfect place, but I won't be joining you guys cause I got to go to work," said gabumon

"Come on, it's your victory," said agumon

"Nah anyway here some V.I.P tickets to digi digitamamon restaurant," said gabumon

"Wow V.I.P ticket, how did you get them?" asked koromon

"Oh the GGT do party for them all the time so he get lot of business and he give us V.I.P ticket to the V.I.P room for lunch, trust me you love it," said gabumon

"Come big brother it isn't fun without you," said dorimon

"Anyway I got to get going have fun," said gabumon

So gabumon grabbed his bag and ran of to work everybody looked gloomy because gabumon wasn't coming, then Terriermon said, "Come if gabumon gave us these ticket it must be good then, come let go," everyone just looked up and walked,

"Hay this isn't over yet," shouted blackveemon

But nobody was listening to and just walked of ignoring him, blackveemon as so annoyed and of. So everyone walked to the restaurant "welcome to digi digitamamon restaurant, how many set," gaomon hand over the V.I.P ticket

"Oh V.I.P tickets, you must be guess of gabumon please follow me," so the whole basketball team, cheerleading team, koromon and dorimon followed digitamamon to the V.I.P room.

"Wow this is the V.I.P room it amazing," said biyomon

"I'm glad you like it, anyway I will leave you, your personal waiter/chief/bar tender will be here shortly," said digitamamon

"What its all one Digimon?" said Hawkmon

"It ok veemon because I be sign as a solo singer in town so that why as well, beside gomamon and tentomon agreed anyway,"

"But if you did go tour how long would you be gone for?" asked weregarurumon

"We on tour for about 2 or 3 years I think," said gomamon

"So that why you refused gabumon, now I understand," said weregarurumon

"See if gabumon went on tour with tentomon and gomamon, he would have to leave school, town, us and koromon and dorimon, knowing the kind hearted Digimon as he is, he would regret leaving us all and beside that he would miss everyone too much especially koromon and dorimon, right gabumon" said asked weregarurumon

"Yep, that right and beside, I wouldn't be able to face anyone ever again if I decided to go on tour, I wouldn't forgive myself if I felt the two most important thing in my life, and they are my friends and you two," said gabumon
