Chapter 1: A Vacation?

Taur: "I...It's been 3,000 years, HAHAHA! Sorry readers, I'm Taur Caliso and I used to write over at FanFiction.net before Critics United bullied me into either scrapping my stories or having my account banned and trust me when I say: I don't forgive them. Past aside, It's been awhile since I wrote anything so I thought I'd have a go at rewriting my first story, mind you it has been rewritten but the story remains the same (Anyone who spoils anything is going on my naughty list >:( ) so I hope you enjoy the story and feel free to give a review, it has been a while so I'm probably rusty."

Lopunny: "Make sure you give a rating!"

Taur: "IF YOU WANT! *ahem* Sorry, that was Lopunny, she's my mate and she'll be often be commentating on the side."

Lopunny: "Prepare for the greatest story ever written!"

Taur: "You are giving the audience too many expectations... What's that?"

Lopunny: "What? This?"

Taur: "Why are you drinking Iced coffee?"

BRUCE'S POV

I was pulled from my abruptly to hear my Pokenav alarm go off as I stumbled in the curtain drawn room of the Pokemon for the alarm, when I reached it I quickly silenced it as I checked around the room to see if my team woke up yet, to my relief I noticed they only rolled over or moved a little in their sleep, My name is Bruce Wilson, I'm 21 and currently the Champion of the Hoenn Region for 5 years straight despite many close encounters, I prefer to think of myself as a Dragon Trainer but having my Blaziken sort of betrayed that, regardless, I still think I made the right choices with my team.

I looked to my right to see my Blaziken 'Blazie' still asleep as she had the majority of the blanket as I stroked her shoulder and she cooed. I checked the floor to see Metagross still asleep whilst been folded up, in the dark you could have mistaken him for a Table whilst Salamence drooled slightly onto his own chest armour, he was a Proud but arrogant Salamence but he was still a good Pokemon, I remember I was given Blazie as a Torchic when I was nine but I wasn't allowed to leave to become a trainer until I was 17 because Mom wanted me to go to normal school, let's just say when we left, emotions built and the result was me and Blazie became mates, she occasionally referred to me as her Soulmate which I secretly thought was cute.

I started getting bored as I checked the time, 7:12am, 'They've had plenty of sleep, I think it's time to wake them up.' I thought as I got out of bed and stripped off my Pajamas and put on my regular clothes, including my Green Rayquaza detailed Headband, Black T-Shirt and Jeans as Salamance woke up and wiped the small dribble he had on his jaw and Chest armour before unfurling his bright red wings as Metagross unfolded and retracted his claws before standing up and stretching his limbs with a weak psychic as his stone red eyes shook into place, Blaziken awoke from all the commotion and sat up with a yawn as she cracked her joints before sliding out of bed while I finished fixing my black hair to spiky as I felt Blazie's claws on my shoulders.

"Come Bruce, stop obsessing over hair like a Smoochum and have breakfast.~" Blazie teased as I turned around and Metagross opening the door telekinetically as Salamence flew out quickly while the gasps and shouts of Surprised people followed as I sighed. 'Why can't he stay still?' I thought as Blazie walked past me, I soon felt another Presence in my head.

'He will calm down once he's had breakfast remember?' Metagross talked as he walked out of the room and shut the door.

"I guess so, Thanks Metagross." I told him as he nodded, Blazie spun around to meet us with a slightly irritated stare.

"Stop having conversations in his mind Metagross!" Blazie whined as Metagross let out a small, low-pitched chuckle.

"Sorry, But it's second nature Blazie." Metagross reasoned as Blazie sighed and shrugged her shoulders, normally People can't understand Pokemon but after many lessons and Headaches with Metagross and his telepathy it soon became as easy to understand as English, although it does get harder with different Pokemon, Blazie sat down with a Red Jello with what looked like Pecha Berry chunks and black burnt toast, Salamance glided over with a pile Red Pokeblocks on his tray he carried in his mouth, Metagross's Steel X glowed as he levitated a Medium Sized rock with gems and Minerals melted into it, I decided on Synthetic Eggs and Bacon, and don't worry, the eggs were created to not spawn Pokemon but as a way to keep eating eggs without angering Pokemon.

"So, What do you guys want to do today?" I asked as I bit into my fake eggs, Salamance perked up first, not even swallowing his food.

"Pokemon Contest! I'm bound to win!" He bragged as he spat miniscule bits of Pokeblock which Metagross caught with psychic and levitated the partially digested food to the bin.

"No, We did that yesterday." Metagross reminded him coldy as Salamence drooped a bit as he gorged himself on Pokeblocks.

"How about we tackle the Elite four again? It'd be more challenging with only three of us but we're still the best!" Blazie suggested excitedly, She's referring to my other three Pokemon, which after the Elite four were beaten, they wanted to relax and be free in Hoenn, so I released them and I haven't seen any of them since, 'I hope they're ok.' I wished as I tried to take another bite of my breakfast as my fork clanged against the now finished plate while Metagross crunched the Boulder whole with a shattering noise, Salamence shivered while Blazie looked at him wide eyed, Metagross looked at the two.

"What? Can't a Pokemon eat in peace?" He challenged as Blazie looked away and Salamence started to explain why he could while Metagross argued that it was a rhetorical question, I noticed everyone had finished as I paid the bills and left with the others following me, still keeping to themselves except for Salamence who continued to challenge Metagross to fight it out, soon my thoughts were distracted by a looming shadow as I looked up to see Rayquaza's toothless fangs.

"AHH!" I shouted as I jumped back from the Sky Snake, Rayquaza let out a deep laugh as Metagross and Blazie bowed whilst Salamance grinned at him. Salamence considered Rayquaza an opponent despite the fact Rayquaza is a Legendary.

"All Humans scare easily, especially this one." He laughed as Bruce sat up and grinned at the Cackling Rayquaza as the Sky Serpent soon returned to a formal face, still intimidating however.

"So what are you doing here Rayquaza?" I asked as I signalled for my team to stand up, he growled at my question before sinking lower to me.

"People similar to the Incident years ago, they're invading the Birthing cave." Rayquaza growled as his vein's glowed brighter in anger.

"The Cave of Origin? But there's nothing there... Ok, we'll investigate." I agreed as Rayquza nodded before moving his tail to me.

"Just to let you know, they're armed." Rayquaza grimaced as he showed the red bullet holes on his body, he growls angrily before blasting a Hyper Beam into the sky.

"I'd destroy them myself, but I'm weakened, and Arceus demands that I attend his Gathering." Rayquaza admitted quietly, I nodded.

"We'll handle it." I nodded as Rayquaza gave a small smile before flying into a small portal leading to wherever the legends go, I turn to Metagross.

"Metagross, You know that Salamence doesn't want to learn fly right? So could-"

"Please don't, We ended up in Fortree City instead of Littleroot when we tried that." Metagross protested as Blazie sighed.

"Please Metagross? Bruce does need your help." Blazie reasoned as Metagross sighed in defeat and began to glow.

"Hold onto me." Metagross warned as we each held his legs, his body glowed bright purple before the world around us seemed to blink before ending up on the white stone platforms of Scootopolis city, all was quiet for a moment.

"Haha! Nice job Metagross!" Salamence congratulated before I heard running up the stairs as Metagross's X glowed.

'He's armed and there's Hostages on the cliff above you to your right.' Metagross informed me telekinetically, I nodded as a Grunt in a modified uniform, consisting of Team Magma and Team Aqua's uniform with a Black and Green colour scheme approached me with a Pistol drawn, it looked like a P99 Pistol, same ones that the Police use.

"Hey kid! Put your Pokemon away and get in the cage with the others!" He yelled, I looked at him, he looked a little intimidated by Salamence.

"Why should I?" I asked as he grinned and pulled the hammer back, clicking the gun.

"Because I can kill you and your Pokemon with a single pull of a Trigger." He said with a wide grin, I smirked, his grin soon evaporated.

"If you're fast enough." I countered, before he had time to ask what I was talking about I used my Training with Blazie to kick him in the stomach, leaving him literally breathless and curled up on the white stone as Metagross held the gun telekinetically and shouting was heard down below.

'Go and take the gun to any Police officer above me.' I thought as Metagross heard my thoughts and nodded before folding his legs in and levitating up, I heard Pokeballs been let out as Salamence and Blazie got ready to fight.

"Blazie, Use Extreme Speed to disarm the Grunts, Salamence, Counter whatever these guys have with Shock wave." I instructed as they both nodded as Blazie became a blur while I saw the two Grunts command their Fearow to use Drill Peck, the grunts were stunned by Blazie's disarming while Salamence's dumb luck fired the two Shock Wave attacks from his mouth with a Roar, the two Fearow instantly fainted as Blazie returned to my side with two pistols which she melted in her claws, the grunts soon turn and ran to a Man in another Black and Green Uniform but with a Frisbee shaped helmet and a Black cape, he clicked his fingers as he soon vanished, leaving the two grunts shaking as the Police soon came and ordered them to surrender, the duo soon did along with the injured Grunt, a familiar face walked towards me holding the Pistol I gave Metagross.

"Bruce! I'm surprised you came this fast, glad to see you didn't pull a weapon yourself." Officer Jenny said, hinting a small bit of surprise as Blazie hugged me while Salamence flew towards the grunts. Officer Jenny came to Hoenn on an Exchange Program but spends most of her time in Kanto, she occasionally comes back due to the 'Interesting events' that keep happening in Hoenn, Unfortunately I can't blame her, Hoenn is anything but dull.

"Well the weapon around here is my Pokemon, and we both know they wouldn't do bad." I agreed whilst walking with her down to the Cave of Origins, she raised and brow and pointed to Salamence, who was arguing with an Officer's Grovile.

"Most of the time." I corrected as we approached the Cave of Origin, Officer Jenny soon stopped and put a hand on her Pistol.

"What's that feeling?" Jenny asked as I picked up a Pebble and threw it inside, causing a large and impressive stream of Fire to blast out of the Cave Entrance, Scorching the cave entrance with smoking Black burn marks, Jenny flinched as I approached the Cave entrance.

"Stay out here, Last thing we need is to set it off." I warned Jenny as she nodded, I put Blazie in her Poke Ball and walked inside to see the once crystal filled pit now filled to the Brim with Molten Lava, Groudon sat in the pool with a charged Hyper Beam but soon realizing it was me, he shut his mouth as the attack cancelled itself, he laid back a little into his Pool as I took a few more steps before he growled.

"Why are you here? This concerns only the Legendary Pokemon of Hoenn Region." Groudon growled slightly as he inspected me, I tried not to look threatening.

"Rayquaza sent me to check on the Cave of Origin, What were those Men in Black and Green doing?" I asked as Groudon growled loudly as I couldn't help but stand back. 'No matter how many times I talk to him, he keeps scaring the Reverse world out of me.' I note as he looks back to me.

"They were to steal..." As he raised his claw to show a Brown and Yellow egg, 'It doesn't look like any egg I've seen before, was it his?' I wondered as he sunk his claw back into the Lava.

"There was two..." He growled before roaring and slashing the walls, dripping lava onto the walls and into the air, he pointed to cracks in his giant scales as the lava filled them and healed them.

"I'm going to ask you once B, seeing as you already know about what happened, can you find the egg those Humans took from me?" He asked, every word he said dripping with violent tones.

"S-Sure." I nodded as he gave a small grin before roaring.

"NOW LEAVE!" He roared as I ran as fast as I could out of there, barely skidding out of the entrance as another flame exploded from the entrance, Jenny pulled me out of the way as I felt the flames burn behind me.

"So?! What was it?!" She asked impatiently, as I pulled her hand off my Shirt.

"Groudon is in there and those Grunts you arrested stole a... Artefact and I think the guy in the Helmet took that Artefact." I lied as Jenny held her chin.

"Well there have been similar thefts except with more valuable items like Jewellery and once, Pure gold ore, it's probably been funding them by selling it off on the Black Market." She explained as I returned Salamence to his Pokeball before he could use Flamethrower on Bayleef, Jenny snapped her fingers as she got out her Notebook and flipped through the pages stopping.

"There've been similar Reports across the region but Border Protections caught a massive Supply of those Grunts in a Boat from Sinnoh, can you help us look off the records Bruce? We need to stop this gang before they start hurting people." Jenny pleaded as I accepted, 'Chances are: If I find this gang, we'll get the egg and return it to Groudon then maybe go on an actual Holiday after this.' I thought while Jenny called in Reinforcements to protect the Cave of Origin, seeing as Groudon was a Legendary Pokemon despite secretly been caught by me, according to Rayquaza, both Groudon and himself wanted to train with me to become strong enough to access something called their Primal Formes, As long as I had Legendary Pokemon at my disposal I almost wouldn't care what would happen, I let out Metagross and asked him to teleport us to the Outer city walls as he glared.

"You know how mentally tiring it gets been a personal Teleport pad?" Metagross asked as he let out a small growl under his breath, I held his leg and knelt down as he glowed.

"I know I know, don't worry, we need a teleport outside the City, then Rayquaza can fly us to Lilycove before we take the boat to the Sinnoh Region." I explained as we teleported, immediately after teleporting he turned to me and gave a smile, it must have been a big one due to how serious Metagross normally looks, he looked almost friendly now.

"What happened to get us our first Holiday?" Metagross asked with Curiosity as we sat on the Rock face of the rock dome of Scootopolis.

"Well... We have a small job to do first before we can relax, We have to-"

"Recover Groudon and his mate's egg, I know." Metagross finished reading my mind as he gave a small grin of satisfaction, I polished a little of his X as his smile grew, he always felt better after that, One of my Pokeballs suddenly opened as Salamence materialize, No sooner than Metagross groaned had Salamence started firing questions, overhearing our conversations from his Pokeball.

"We'regoingtoSinnoh?!WHOA!Whobroughtthetickets?Whataretalkingabout eggs for?Howcomeyou stoppedmefightingthatBayleef?!Shewasaskingforit!" Salamence spouted questions until Blazie materialized and held her mouth shut, another reason I loved her.

"I have questions too, One: Does Mom and Dad know about this? Two: Who's paying for this?" Blazie asked as my Pokenav beeped, I opened it and read the messages before putting it back.

"Officer Jenny is saying that she's informed Mom and Dad about me going to Sinnoh as an award for my Efforts in Scootopolis today and that the Police force are paying for it partially for the award." I answered as Blazie let go off Salamence's mouth before lying down next to me.

"Couldn't have done it without me Bruce." Salamence reminded as he roosted, Blazie laid on my shoulder and hugged me slightly as Salamence continued making accusations about how vital he was.

"I know Salamence." I reassured him as he sighed in relief, Rayquaza slithered out of a Portal and approached us, Metagross bowed his head.

"The Hall was not happy of Groudon not showing up at the Hall today, Oh yes, did you find out what the Humans were after?" Rayquza growled as I stood up, the others stayed sitting.

"They were after the Reason Groudon didn't show to up to your Meeting... Did he ever explain about... Eggs?" I asked as Rayquaza looks slightly down, like he knew the answer but was ashamed of it.

_"...I did hear the younger Legends talk about Groudon seeking a Mate a for month's ago, amazing that he told you somehow before he tells his elder..."_Rayquaza pondered as I tapped the Sky Serpent, he turned to me, yes but the others immediately ducked into their Pokeballs, presumably out of fear for the Green Dragon.

"Yes Bruce?" Rayquaza asked with a small smile which creepy me out no matter which way you looked at it.

"Can you fly me to Lilycove City? It'll be the last one for awhile." I asked as he raised what I thought was a brow.

"Fine, but why awhile?" He asked as climbed onto the serpent's Tail before reaching near his head.

"Groudon needed my help to find the thieves in Sinnoh and the Police needed me to find the group responsible." I answered as Rayquaza sighed, It was peacefully quiet in the sky.

"So can ask you something B?" Rayquaza asked as I called out 'Yeah' to what he though was Rayquza's ear.

"You and Blaziken have such a great bond, How'd you and the Blaziken meet?" He asked as I fell into a Flashback.

Taur: "Hope it was worth the wait."

Lopunny: "Is there anymore?"

Taur: "Not yet, maybe soon."

Lopunny: "Not cool Luvbunny."

Taur: "UGH! WHY THAT NAME?!"

Lopunny: "Because you love me and-"
