#1 of Death from the Shadows
Just a brief intro to a series I am writing called "Death from the Shadows". This is not intended to be a full introduction, and will be fleshed out over time.
Meet Nyeusi Kifu, an anthropomorphic panther whose past is as black as is his pelt.
Nyeusi lives in a society that is oppressive to not only him, but any others of his kind. They are forced to live in slums, restricted from moving freely within the cities they inhabit, spit upon, hunted down, and left to die. They did not desire to be what they are; fate dealt them a bad hand, and it seems the cards are always against them. Some of them fight back, many do not.
Nyeusi has decided that fighting back can be quite the lucrative proposition. With an intense hatred of any and all around him, and the belief that everyone upon the face of the planet is a useless entity, he has no problem fighting back for the right price. You see, Nyeusi is a killer for hire and a damn good one, or at least that is his own opinion. Some have deemed Nyeusi 'Black Death', because if you see him, you are probably already dead. Others have deemed Nyeusi enemy number one, and those are the people he loves the most since they provide him the most fun.
This is his Nyeusi's story. If you have ever wanted to see into the mind of someone who has no regard for humans or anthropomorphics, and who will happily hunt down anyone for enough cash... well you are in for quite the treat. If you have ever wanted to see humanity at it's very worst, then this is the story for you. If you enjoy violence, well... this is most certainly the story for you.
