Anthro
After admitting his love to Yoshi, Ike's devotion is put to the test.
Start with the [First] chapter.
The orca known as Yoshi swam up to the surface of the water. As he broke the surface tension he was no longer feral.
His head poked out of the water. He had a sleek build with clearly defined muscles. His beak was still rounded and he retained most of his feral features. The white ovals around his eyes seemed to be like eye brows, his body was still mostly black except from his chin down to his slit which was white. He flapped his long tail in the water in excitement. Then he raised his arms and curled his four fingers with opposable thumbs. He gazed down his arms and floated on his back. His attention turned to his legs as he followed them down to his five digits on his feet. He wiggled his toes to let the water flow in between them. His dorsal fin was in his mid spinal region and it felt good to be in the body again.
He sighed in relief.
"I can't believe it's been a year since I've went anthro."
He smiled and felt the warm sun radiate on his body while using his tail as a paddle to gentle float across the top of the water.
Following the orca was the dolphin named Ike.
When Ike breached the water's surface he too was no longer in feral form although he too did retain most of his features. Unlike Yoshi, Ike had a more elongated and slender beak. He was grey and had a much slender build with less muscle definition. He also had a white chin down to his slit and his tail wasn't as long as Yoshi's but then again he was shorter than Yoshi was. He smiled looking his body up and down.
"I miss spending time with Yoshi like this."
With that being said he looked around for the orca he had come to love.
"Yoshi? Where are you you?"
He scanned the 360 horizon and yet even with his enhanced peripheral view he saw that Yoshi was no where in plain sight.
"Yoshi?! Yoshi! Where'd you go?! Yoshi?!"
Tears fell from his eyes. "Oh no! I've lost him!"
His hands covered his eyes.
"How could I have let this happen?!"
His sobs grew deeper as the realization set in. Hiding underneath the water, the orca silently resurfaced. Ike continued bawling over Yoshi's disappearance without a farewell and blamed himself for saying that he loved him. Yoshi swam up behind him and wrapped his arms around Ike's body.
"Miss me?"
Ike looked up from his hands feeling his touch and hearing his voice.
"Yoshi?"
"The one and only."
Ike turned around to look at him.
"Where'd you go?!"
"I wanted to see if you'd miss me if I left."
He leaned into his chest and cried again.
"Don't leave me again! Please... I wouldn't know what to do without you."
Yoshi squeezed him tighter.
"You really had me scared."
Yoshi shifted and held his arms which in turn made Ike look into his dark eyes.
"I won't ever leave you again."
He leaned in and kissed Ike with a strong passion.
"I promise."
Ike wrapped his arms around Yoshi's waist and held on tight. Yoshi smiled and wrapped his arms down Ike's waist. Ike's belly grew pink again as they kissed. He began clicking and making low chatters.
"I think you've been put through so much already you deserve this."
