Episode 1: Mon of a Feather...
Where to begin... every story has its beginning, correct? Well, I suppose this one does too... long, long ago. It seemed so hard back then, like everything was against us... I suppose I should start there. What is life, but a beginning with no end? It was only a few years after the revitalization, when the data and numbers of Digimon turned to flesh and blood, when a new life was created, when names were taken...
Devian's eyelids slowly slid open, the gentle light of morning feeling harsh, cruel to the mismatched orbs. One deep purple eye and one forest green looked to the window, the Mon wishing he had shut it the night before. Slowly the white, velvety furred body rose from its bed, a soft blanket slipping off it. The Mon stood up fully, yawning widely, stretching back. He was, if anything, a Flamedramon. His body's odd colors, not to mention angelic wings, threw that a bit off, however. After the revitalization, Digimon no longer were made from eggs. Well, not all of them, at least. Some were still re-incarnated as eggs. Flesh and blood had replaced the data that for so long had created everything they were, yet digivolution still took place; armor still grew from data- then became 'real'. Breeding turned to how reproduction was done, and thusly, cross breeding of Digimon came about. That is what resulted in this oddity, a strange creature indeed. He stood a little taller than most Flamedramon; his entire body was white, plus the oddity of his wings and eyes. His father was a cross of an Agumon and Patamon, though he only showed the Patamon in color. His mother, however, was a full Veemon. How their strange son came to be was a mystery, though many attributed it to Patamon's evolved form, an Angemon. But strange or not, this Digimon was beautiful. His wide eyes, despite being mismatched, were so deep, so loving, someone could become lost in for ages, and the time be considered a blessing, not a waste. At only age thirteen he had quite a physique, being the strong, toned Digimon that he was. Most didn't digivolve by his age, if at all. Usually only fighters did that, and he was a pacifist, unless he had to defend himself. With his mutt-ness, that was often.
The ivory creature moved over to the window, shutting the black blinds, leaving his deep blue painted room dark, for the most part. His eyes were well attuned to darkness, and thusly, were much more comfortable. His eyes flicked to the clock. 7:15. Great, he only had a short time to get ready for school. A quick brush through his fur, so velvety and short, and he threw on a pair of pants. Another anomaly with this Digimon was his form. Most Flamedramon's armor formed upon them shortly after digivolving, just like digital material used to, but was immediately after true material. This Mon, however, had a different kind of armor. His pants were made of chain mail, the same as his shirt, if it could be called that. It was long, and loose sleeved; going shallow around his shoulders and collar bone, about half way between his shoulder and neck, and hung down to about his mid-stomach, leaving his chest and tummy exposed, showing the faint six pack there, not to mention his faintly muscled chest. It was definitely there, just nothing overly sized, or grotesque as many Mon's bodies. He only wore the pants around, however. Most Flamedramon went around in nothing or their standard flame armor. He would wear nothing, but his silver-colored pants, made of pure chrome digizoid, -the strongest metal known to Mon- were rather vital as, unlike every other Flamedramon ever known, his genitals were external, hanging, quite proudly (though young), between his legs. He was rather shy about such things, and thusly always wore something to cover himself, his pants suiting nicely. They slipped on, a clip over his large, ivory tail holding them up.
Now fully dressed, or as dressed as he would get, having showered last night, the Mon ran into the bathroom. A quick brush of his teeth, a quick turn to make sure none of his ethereal fur was matted or crushed, he then ran out the front door, flying past his father and mother. He caught a piece of toast his father tossed him, the whole family rather used to this ritual. He heard a mellow chuckle from the Agumon/Patamon cross, and couldn't help but smile. Jumping up he started leaping from treetop to treetop, munching down the toast. Toothpaste and toast... not the best of combinations. He thought he heard someone yelling, just as he swallowed the last bite of toast and looked down to the ground. He stopped dead, landing quietly upon a branch. He had reached the edge of the school's territory. Before him the path went on, between cherry trees. Sakura was slowly drifting about, swirling gracefully in the soft breezes, dancing in the beauty only nature could birth.
Below was another Flamedramon, one Devian had kept an eye upon. This Flamedramon was the closest anyone had ever seen to him; beautiful, angelic wings were spread wide behind him. His name was Xavier... Devian couldn't help but smile faintly, but then his eyes went wide as a green fist came in from behind a cherry tree, hitting Xavier right in the stomach. The blue Mon fell upon his back, clutching his stomach. Forward came an Ogremon, raising his foot up. Devian's eyes went wider, and his body reacted. He didn't even realize what he was doing. From his mouth came, "Rocket of fate!" and his fist threw forward, a large, ivory ball exploding from it; a mix of the classic Flamedramon 'fire rocket' and an Angemon's 'hand of fate'. The ball flew forward and exploded as it hit the Ogremon. The beast flew back a bit, hitting a cherry tree, sakura rattling down, the beast having not expected the attack. Devian paused for a moment, then hopped down, next to the blue Flamedramon. He was two years Devian's senior, an upperclassman. Devian slowly helped the Mon to his feet; the gentle caress of blue, velvety fur against him... his face flushed faintly, his cheeks faintly matching the sakura. He turned to the Ogremon, who had regained his composition.
"Not fair!" shouted the Ogremon, a snarl upon his hideous face. Devian chuckled quietly "Come now... you've got better to do. Stop picking on this guy, just go to school. Class starts soon." The Ogremon let out a snarl. He raised his club to attack, and Devian's duo toned eyes narrowed and flashed dangerously... the composition of beauty and strength, like a snake ready to strike. The bell at the school, not too far away, started to ring, back and forth, giving a loud 'gong' sound each time. The Ogremon turned towards the school, then back to the other two. He spit upon the ground, turned, and walked towards the school. "Lucky sons of bitches..." was muttered as he slowly moved away. Devian smiled back to the other Flamedramon, who was blushing faintly. The Mon looked down in embarrassment, then turned his head up a little. He silently lipped, 'Thank you...' Devian blushed faintly yet again, giving a nod, his strong, luxurious voice replying, "It's no problem". The two stood, looking into one another's eyes. Xavier's eyes were a deep, rusty red color, the true color of a Flamedramon's eyes. The sakura swirled around their three toed feet, gracing over their soft skin.
Devian lay quietly, his eyelids three-fourths shut. His back rested gently against a tree, his lower body lying upon the sweet green grass, cool beneath him. Before him lay sprawled a beautiful scene; the moon and stars were mirrored gently upon the bay, sparkling and twinkling, a wide canvas of deep, midnight blue holding each pin of light gently in its embrace, whether it be sky or sea. Across the bay loomed dark black creatures against the blue sky, lights shining from them. It was the city that Devian, now five years older, lived in. He let out a quiet 'mmm' sound, sitting up a little. A movement upon his chest, warm and gentle, made him smile. He looked down, opening his violet and forest eyes, looking to the blue and white face resting upon his ivory chest. Xavier was adjusting a little, getting comfy from Devian's interrupting movements. Xavier was lying upon his side, to Devian's right side. Xavier's right, soft blue leg was delicately placed over Devian's right, their tails intertwined. Xavier was resting, sleeping quietly atop Devian; the poor guy was rather tuckered out from work that day, their Friday ritual of gazing upon the sparkling, star-stricken sky too relaxing for the Mon, guiding him to a gentle slumber. Not that Devian minded what so ever; holding his beautiful Flamedramon close to him, feeling the gentle breaths from his short, blue muzzle upon his chest. His eyes looked down, to the bag next to them. His clothes and Xavier's armor were stacked up next to the bag. Inside was his cell phone, the time on the front. It was nearing midnight, a weak chill in the air having hinted so. He sighed quietly and chuckled at the time passing so quickly. He leaned down and started nibbling gently at the blue Flamedramon's ear, murmuring quietly to his beautiful love.
Xavier's ear twitched a few times, his eyelids raising slowly, his beautiful auburn eyes showing. He looked up, his eyes meeting Devian's. His eyes begged silently, "Time to go already...?" Devian nodded gently, giving gentle licks with his thin, triangular tongue to the Mon upon his chest. Their lips met briefly for a short kiss before they began standing up. Devian put his pants on, leaving his chain mail top off, pushing it into the bag. Xavier remained nude, not minding the chill air, or exposing himself. Not that society minded either, as he was true to Flamedramon standards, having nothing to be concerned with hiding. Devian took up the bag and began walking back towards the car with Xavier, Xavier's arm around Devian's hips, Devian's arm around Xavier's shoulders, their tails intertwined as they made the slow trudge down the hill to their car. Devian opened the door for his love then moved around the car, getting in the driver's seat. The car was beautiful; a BlackTail his parents had given him as a gift for both him and his love when they went to college. His parents were accepting, both Mon of true hearts. Xavier was already their son, in their eyes, and loved him equally as their own white offspring. The car growled to life and moved down the road, going around the bay, back toward the city.
Devian's claws curled gently, digging softly into whatever he might be holding. He twitched gently, moving a little, turning. His breath was a shallow pant, his eyes flicking about, left, right, up, down. His tail flicked about nervously, a soft sweat upon his brow, matching his panting well. Soft bites came to his own lips, a movement next to him making his body stiffen. Suddenly his eyes shot open, his whole body stiff, eyes darting about the empty, gently lit room. He slowly relaxed, giving a gentle sigh of relief. His paws instantly released, realizing he was holding his love in such a way, gentle marks upon his love's sides. Auburn eyes looked into his. Xavier had been awake this whole time, watching, feeling his love's distress. Purple and green eyes became half lidded, looking down to the chest of their bearer's love. A quiet, "Sorry..." was almost lipped, but lips interrupted his own before he could say anything. It wasn't his first sleep with nightmares... Though not constant, they came now and then. Devian tilted his head into the kiss, his arms moving about his love. Warm spots were upon his flesh, slightly wet. Devian had punctured his love with his small claws. A gentle whimper came from him, ending the kiss as he looked down. Xavier's paw came up, two soft fingers upon Devian's lips.
Xavier slipped from bed, words not really needed. His tail wrapped gently around Devian's, who followed obediently. Each of their flesh, fur was tainted with a mixture of their own and one another's scents, their musks. Though summer, and the nights still warm, it was almost hot in the building. Yet, both Mon agreed that a blanket was more comfortable than none, giving a nice, hot, close place for them to hold one another. The result, in the morning, was two scented Mon. Not that either minded, each having a scent of warmth, a deep brew of musk, pheromones. Though many would not consider it quite acceptable at school, so they arrived where they need be, Xavier having led Devian to the bathroom, to their large shower.
Their 'apartment' was actually quite large, if a little empty. It was an old art studio, a huge floor for paintings and such; large, old windows letting in tons of light. In the back, however, were a few rooms. They were on the top floor of a school apartment building, so plumbing and all the necessities were there. Their bathroom as spacious as their bedroom, a small, cozy kitchen and a small television room made up the living quarters. They could always, of course, move furniture into the studio, but the cold night air filled it, and there was too much art and instruments in it. Xavier was an art major, and did so wonderfully, not to mention other artists would hang about in there- always asking permission first, of course, before working.
But none of that was important just now. Their tails still coiled, they each moved about the bathroom. Xavier got the soap and shampoo from the cupboard, moving them to the shower/tub, starting the water to warm, closing the drapes. As he did that, Devian relieved himself, standing over the toilet as he did so. Once finished with his tasks, Xavier moved behind Devian, wrapping his lithe arms around Devian's waist. Soft kisses and nibbles drifted over Devian's neck, bringing smiles and soft giggles. He whispered, "Stop it, or you'll clean up the mess..."
That, of course, did bring Xavier to a stop. Devian was soon finished, shaking himself gently to rid himself of the last few drops, rolling his foreskin back into place. He moved from the toilet, stepping into the steam filled curtain, the end of Xavier's hostage tail coming along with him. Xavier gave a quiet movement of laughter and grin, stepping to the bowl. He let his own member tip slip free, relieving himself much as Devian had. A few moments after he began, Devian's face peeked out from the shower. Xavier's tail was now in his paws, a devilish grin upon the ivory lips. A slow, gentle lick slipped over Xavier's tail, making his body tense, and a soft, playful yelp coming from him. Nibbles accompanied the tip of the tail, making him squirm a little. He twitched softly, giving a look to Devian that said much the same as Devian had earlier.
Devian, however, had no intention of stopping. They were playful like this before, and Xavier had more control than he played. Eventually he finished, and practically pounced into the shower atop Devian; Devian, of course, ready with open arms. They embraced within the shower, hot water cascading down upon the two of them. Xavier, now a few inches shorter than Devian, let his lips glide gently, caressingly up Devian's neck. Their lips met for a gentle kiss, their chests pressed to one another's, their heart beats a melody of love, paws slowly caressing upon one another's sides, hips, exploring one another's backs, over the soft 'spikes' there. Murrrs passed between their lips as their tongues gave gentle touches to one another, love welling between them, eyelids but a sliver from closed, their breaths moving warm against one another's muzzles.
Xavier's paws gently slid upon Devian's hips, upon his firm rump, over the top of his tail. Each little touch, flick of a claw electric upon Devian's body, his touches to Xavier's own lower back doing much the same. Their kiss ensued with soft licks to one another's tongue, within one another's mouth, their bodies slowly turning in a melody that played only to their own ears. The water crashed down from the shower head, cascading upon blue and white fur, soft churrrs and chest-deep sounds coming from them, intermingling with the crash of water upon the bottom of the tub. Water fell in drops from their feathers, simply beading upon the surface, velvety fur catching drops, making the two bodies of perfection sparkle with the morning light coming from the windows high above, imbedded in the walls that rose to such an unreachable roof.
Xavier's paws moved up, gently caressing upon Devian's stomach, moving up toward his chest. They stroked gently over the firm pectorals there, and then began to gently push. A soft resistance met the paws, but it soon subsided. They moved together, Devian's wings pressing to the wall, making a gentle pillow for his back. Green and violet orbs appeared from behind the parting eyelids, looking into the half lidded eyes of Xavier. Xavier's muzzle moved gently to Devian's neck, kissing and biting softly, bringing a gentle churr from the younger Mon. The purple and green orbs were hidden again behind their white coverings, white lips moving upon Devian's chest, kissing and biting, moving ever so slowly down along his stomach. Devian couldn't help but shudder, his toes curling into the tub. One paw moved up, the backs of his fingers gently caressing his lover's cheek as Xavier's lips slid over the thin line of thicker crotch fur coming up from Devian's most intimate place, the lips slowly moving down into the patch of thicker crotch fur. A sharp gasp came from him as Xavier's lips found their target, his small claws gently pushing into the skin of Xavier's head, though the fellow Flamedramon wouldn't be hurt this time, as in his sleep...
Of course, all moments must come to an end, especially when school is but an hour away. Though Devian and Xavier took every moment they could and cherished it in the shower, holding one another, being with one another, expressing love in its purest form; simply being with one another. Devian stepped from the shower, probably having taken a good amount of the school's hot water with his love, not that anyone cared. Xavier still was in the shower, his paws holding a fluffy maroon towel, slowly working out the moisture from his lover's tail. Devian wiggled the white tip of his tail about, giggling softly as Xavier stuck out his pink tongue at the Mon. Devian returned the gesture, his tail released as he did. He smiled lovingly and then moved off as Xavier started to towel himself. It was their usual morning ritual, both working together to make the horrid Monday trudge to classes. Devian headed into the kitchen, starting his love's pot of coffee. Devian was never a morning coffee drinker, mostly drinking only for the taste, not caffeine- his love of decaf something Xavier simply could not understand- but Xavier was quite in need in the mornings. He wasn't as heavy a sleeper as Devian, and sometimes didn't get much sleep at nights.
Devian's lips spread to a smile as he felt his love entering the room behind him. He looked over his shoulder, his violet eye showing, the smirk of a smile upon the corner of his lips. "One lump sugar... Do you want cream, or've you had your fill this morning?" Xavier simply stuck his tongue out again. Xavier moved to the toaster and turned to Devian, leaning back against the counter. Devian was now looking through the fridge, unable to see Xavier. Xavier knocked twice on the counter, Devian turning. "Yes, love?" he asked with a gentle smile. Xavier brought his paws up, signing, "Would you like one or two pieces of toast this morning?"
It had taken Devian a few years to learn sign language fully, but now he was rather proficient in it. Though Xavier was a mute, he could still lip words, learning well from watching others' lips as they spoke. He didn't need to read lips, he could hear just fine, but in taking up so he was able to let others read his lips. After all, it was at times awkward to talk with one's hands, such as moments of sparring or love.
Devian chuckled quietly and moved over, the fridge shutting by a push of his tail, his paws depositing the creamer upon the counter, next to the coffee. He came over, wrapping his arms gently around Xavier's waist, nosing softly at the blue collar bone and shoulder of his love. "Mmm... can't I just have jam right off you..?" Xavier licked gently across the top of Devian's head, smiling gently. A single finger slid up from Devian's naval area to his chin, lifting his face. Xavier speechlessly worded, "We already showered... should have thought of that before." A devilish grin slid across his face. "Now one or two?" he lipped.
Devian stuck his tongue out and rolled his eyes. He raised himself and slipped forward, giving Xavier's neck a gentle bite, making the blue Mon gasp. Devian couldn't help but smile to himself, licking over the velvety spot he had bitten. Xavier let out a quiet sigh, draping his arms around Devian's waist. The younger Mon could be so childish, playful at times, and Xavier could never resist. He moved his muzzle down and kissed gently between Devian's ears lipping 'I love you...' Devian 'mmm'ed quietly in reply, nodding softly. He whispered, "I love you too..." in return. Devian moved his paws up and down along Xavier's sides, the small claws tracing upon the velvety flesh, slipping over one of the small wounds he'd made earlier. Devian winced and was about to say sorry, but lips were suddenly upon his before he could. Devian tried half heartedly, likely less, to stop the kiss and still say it, but how could he resist those warm lips, so soft, so full of love... Xavier simply knew his Mon too well. They held the kiss for a long time, slowly stroking each other's sides, backs, their tails moving between their legs, intertwining, squeezing and rubbing gently against one another's, like two snakes binding to one another.
In the end, neither got more breakfast than a piece of toast, a kiss, and the love they shared so. Xavier had to run off frantically to his class, his wings flicking behind him until he reached the door. As he exited the door to the stairway outside, he jumped and spread his wings, his blue body blending into the sky, the picture of beauty slowly moving off before Devian's eyes. Xavier had a morning class, life drawing, while Xavier's class wasn't until noon, when he had calculus BC. They both got off at three, when they met in the park for lunch.
Once he could no longer see his loved Mon, Devian moved back into the house, through the enormous studio and back into the living quarters of the top floor. Moving into the kitchen, he turned on the hot water into the sink, plugging the drain. A little soap and the dishes were soon covered in hot, soapy water and the small bubbles above them. Devian turned off the water to the dishes, taking up the sponge. Before him was the window looking out upon the park, the shore to the lake they'd be sitting upon eating lunch in only a number of hours.
Devian's tail reached over, opening the laptop at the dining tail. Xavier and Devian each had their own, usually working on them in the kitchen, convenient for doing the dishes. His tail slid up to the joint where the screen and base of the laptop met, poking one of the fast-keys there. After a few moments, Devian's laptop began to emit his favorite band. It was a beautiful band, mixing everything from opera to rock to orchestra. Devian would never get tired of Night's Passion, he was quite sure.
Devian gave a small jump. He had been washing the dishes on 'auto-pilot' for lack of a better term, losing himself in the music, looking out the window. His paw had quickly drawn out of the hot water, his eyes looking to it. There was a thin slice upon his finger; after a few moments, deep, rich blood welled up into a drop at the surface. He looked in through the water and saw a knife at the bottom. With a soft sigh he turned to head to the bathroom, taking a few steps. Suddenly his entire body tensed again, looking up from the floor. His eyes narrowed. "... Xavier!" The Mon turned and dived, the lithe, elegant body sliding through the screen-less, open window easily. The Mon's enormous, ivory wings spread out, catching him. He glided off, his heart pounding, knowing something was wrong...
