A Naga goes to a bar in an effort to quench his undying lust. What he finds instead may be more than he bargained for. And most certainly more than he could have ever hoped for.

So this chapter got kinda long. It just kept going. And going. And going. But these two have had one date. An impromptu one at that. And life goes on. We glean a little more information of our two main characters.

~Disclaimer: Just so it's clear. My knowledge of anything pertaining to legal matters is about zilch. I have done my best based on what I thought would happen in this world. Again, I know next to nothing about custody cases. Especially those involving the State v. the single widowed parent.

~Second Disclaimer: I know very little more about police work and have just based my assumptions on what I've seen in television. Please excuse my lack of experience. I will do my best to make it as authentic as possible

Their date had gone swimmingly, Richarde introducing Kevin to one of his favorite movie franchises. X-Men. They had gone to see Logan. He’d ended up with the human in his would-be lap half way through the movie with Kevin nicely cuddled up to his chest and watching the movie out of the corner of his eye. It wasn’t even a scary movie.

As Richarde walked the human home, they’d set up another date and he’d done his best to kiss the human good night. As the Naga slithered himself back to his car, he kept thinking about how close he’d come to coming out of his vent. It wasn’t that he wanted sex, it was just that the moment was so intimate, that his body responded to where it thought the night was going to go. So, as he drove home he finally relaxed his vent. All fourteen inches of his dual flesh came out of the opening that was where the human torso met the snake trunk of his body. His spires of flesh were each as thick as a beer can and covered in sensitive spines. In appearance, they reminded him of a palm tree, if a palm’s fronds continued all the way down its trunk.

They breathed air for the first time all day and the pleasure he felt just from them being out in the open nearly caused him to drift out of his lane. Regaining control of the vehicle, he pulled into his apartment complex and pulled into his spot. Putting the car in park, he finally let himself enjoy the pleasant feeling of the air caressing his turgid spears. He thought about Kevin naked, mentally undressing him as he brought his hand up to one of his dual cocks and gently massaged at the base of one of his spines. Moaning out his pleasure, he began to jack his cock slowly as pre began to spill out of the tip. It started out as a dribble but pretty quickly became a steady stream as he worked himself over in the way only a male knows his own body. He thanked whatever gods may be for his tinted windows and the late hour.

As he continued stroking, his breathing became more and more labored and his stroking more erratic. And just as he was about to tip over the edge, he thought of penetrating that most likely virgin pucker and he came. And he came hard. Spraying so hard that the first pulse hit the underside of his chin. The next his collarbone and the third the middle of his chest. He groaned out his release as his right hemipenis continued to coat his chest in white, pearlescent cum. So viscous was it that it clung to his scutes and scales as he just sat in his afterglow.

He dozed for a bit before cleaning himself up with a rag he had lying around in the car. Heading into his apartment, he heard the television on and noticed that his son had fallen asleep on the couch again. His son lay coiled on the couch looking peaceful. His rattle occasionally shaking to the whims of his subconscious. His dreams taking him to worlds unknown. His pattern was much like his father’s black diamond shapes on sandy brown with white outlines. His black tongue flicked idly in his slumber as his skinny muscled torso rose and fell in time with his breathing.

Looking at his son always reminded him of his ex-wife. A cobra Naga that was as purple as the finest amethyst and had eyes redder than the reddest ruby. Her life had been taken away by a drunk bigot with a shotgun when his son was only three. Having a son could prove difficult at times, but he could never give him up. The little rascal was his whole world. Empathy. Just another human trait that a snake wouldn’t understand.

“Hey, dad,” Richarde’s son startled him out of his reverie.

“H…hey, Junior. How was school?”

“Humes keep picking on me.” Was the only reply.

Richarde sighed and shook his head. ~Show me~ he asked his son, using his psychic abilities. His son showed him his most recent torment via their mental link.

It was a football jock, by the letterman jacket the human wore. His size and ego dwarfing his son. He wasn’t alone, though, the human and his friends tossed a backpack back and forth between them, using the younger Naga’s short relaxed stature to their advantage. The game of keepaway, wasn’t the only taunting going on. The verbal assault painful on the elder’s ears. Freak, Hoser, and other vitriol and hate were spewed by the bullies as Richarde felt Junior’s temper rising.

“Stop it, guys,” Junior whined, “Give it back!”

“Not over your road-killed body, Hoser.” The leader said as he tossed it to another human. This one even taller than the ringleader and he looked twice as mean. He passed it to a blondie who looked like he was more at home on a surfboard than out on the gridiron. And then, he tossed it over to an Asian-looking one whose eyes were aflame with hatred. He passed it back to the ringleader. And that’s when Junior did something that shocked the jocks, but didn’t shock Richarde, He struck at the ringleader, jaws closing inches from his face.

The Ringleader fell on his ass and the backpack fell into Junior’s hands. “I said give it,” Junior admonished in a semi-apologetic tone and slithered away.

“You know that wasn’t the right thing to do, Junior. Ricky, all you did, was give them reason to hate you. And you could have killed the boy. One nick from our fangs, especially yours, is a death sentence. Don’t ever do that again.” His son’s face was crestfallen, but he nodded in defeat, “But…I understand how hard it is to keep oneself in check. Believe me. Now is all your homework done?”

The hatchling nodded his head. “Yes, dad.”

“Even History?”

“Yes, dad.”

Having not left his son’s mind, Richarde heard the lie mentally before it even left his son’s lips. “Mr. Ackerson won’t let up on you if you don’t do his homework, son.”

“I know…but he’s just such an—“

“Asshole? Yes, but that’s why we do everything in our power to stay on his good side, don’t give him reasons to berate you, or punish you.”

“Yes, dad.”

“Now go finish your homework and go to bed.”

The young Naga slithered to his room and the elder took his place on the couch and turned on the news.

Kevin Biel stared up at the ceiling in his room. His roommate having since gone to bed, he thought of the Naga he’d met at the bar that night. He was built. Sure, it was hard to tell exactly because of those scutes, but the rest of his hide was bursting with muscle. He seemed to have a good head on those shoulders. And He was bold. Anthros weren’t required by law to wear clothes but many did. This Naga was buck naked. And the way his tail glided along the pavement and undulated in such a fashion that he always seemed to be in motion. His scale pattern was beautiful, too. That white surrounding each of the diamondback’s characteristic diamonds accentuated them really well among the sandy brown of the rest of his scales. And he appeared to keep them pretty clean, too, based on their sheen in the low light of the bar.

Kevin may have just found what it was he was looking for. His tenting sheets certainly agreed with him. His roommate didn’t have the nose to really tell if he did anything sexual in his room or not, he could maybe get away with it, as long as the killer whale didn’t use his echolocation. ‘Course he was sleeping already, so it wasn’t like the human had to worry about getting caught.

He shoved his hand under his sheets and pulled his member out of the confines of his boxers. As it rubbed against the fabric of his sheet he let out a moan, trying to be as quiet as possible he started stroking himself, pushing and pulling his foreskin up and down his mushroom-shaped head. Soon squelching resounded throughout the room as he started leaking and the pre got trapped by the foreskin. His breathing became heavy with effort as he worked himself into a steady rhythm.

He thought of worshiping the muscles of the burly Naga. He thought of worshiping its duel spears. Knowing exactly their alien shape. And how to pleasure them. He imagined himself taking one of them into his mouth—as much of it that would fit—and having a taste of his new lover. And it was this thought that sent him over the edge and into his sheets. He sighed out his orgasm and relaxed into his bed. He’d have to do laundry tomorrow, but it was worth it. He felt super relaxed. He would be off to the world of dreams before too long, now.

“Had fun, didn’t you?” came the smug voice of his cetacean roommate, “I knew you liked him from the moment you set eyes on him. Just remember we’re walking the beat tomorrow. Your dad’s still not happy about the Jimenez case last month.”

If it was possible for a human to physically jump out of its skin Kevin would have done so. “How long have you been there?”

“Oh, don’t worry, I ‘saw’ it all. You think your quiet? Yeah, think again.”

The human turned a shade of red that would have made a crayon jealous. The big orca just chuckled, a series of quick huffing clicks. It was only being partners for the las twenty years that had allowed the human to identify any of the alien expressions from the cetacean anthro. “Don’t worry, your secrets safe with me. As long as you and I keep bleeding blue we’ll be fast friends. Remember that.”

The human nodded bashfully. “I know, Naqut. You don’t have to worry about that. I’ve always got your back.”

“And I yours, Biel. If that Hoser does anything to hurt you, you can be sure that I’ll be right there to slap him in cuffs.” The orca said confidently.

“I…I…don’t know what to say.”

In his native tongue, the Cetacean said, {A Pod sticks together. A family is one body. Friends are for life.}

“Thanks again, for letting me stay with you Ray. I really do appreciate it.”

{What’s family for?} he replied again in his native tongue of clicks, whirrs and whistles.

Richarde pulled at his collar. He knew that this would be his final hearing about custody of his son. He was beyond nervous. When his wife had passed he’d not thought that he’d have to fight for his son. Being a hybrid of Rattler and King Cobra, his needs were unique. His temperature range was different than that of a Diamondback Rattlesnake Naga, or a King Cobra Naga. It was somewhere in between the temperature ranges. It meant that he couldn’t stand the same heat as a rattler and he couldn’t stand the cold as well as the King cobra. Tuning the heating lamps that were in all Naga’s homes to his specific temperature range was uncannily difficult.

“Lawrence. Richard Lawrence. Your case is up” A petite white woman in a conservative, floral-print dress announced.

It’s Richarde Lawrence, bitch, Richarde thought to himself. He rose up to his standing position and slithered over to the door. She kindly opened the door for him, so he rethought his statement. Omitting bitch. “I’m Richarde.” He stressed his name, without malice, just a slightly chiding tone.

He slithered into the room and he saw his lawyer—a portly looking bear in a tailored Armani suit—sat in the left. Literally all the Naga was wearing was a loose sport coat and his collar. And a tie. He went to the table where his lawyer was standing and shook hands with the bear, “Thanks for being here, Mark, it means a lot to me.”

“Your family has been good to us, Rick. I’d have been a fool not to be on this case for you. You need it. You need Ricky in your life. And he needs you in his. I will fight hard for you. By the way, I heard about your impromptu date last night, how’d it go?”

The Naga almost choked on his own surprise. Clearing his throat, he replied, “Well. I think I will be seeing this one again. He seemed to truly be into me the whole night. I felt like a god.”

The bear chuckled, “Careful, you know the State will be looking for any reason to snag Ricky away from you.”

“I know, Mark. I’m worried where this guy wants to take this relationship. I won’t introduce him to Junior quite yet.”

“Good Idea.”

The bailiff entered the room in the next second, announcing “All rise for the Honorable Judge Garfield.”

The day started out slow. The ‘beat’ for him and his fellow detective, was about the worst punishment one could get. He’d screwed up a case the previous month involving an up-and-coming drug lord named Rafael Delgado Jimenez who they had dead-to-rights, but because Kevin had jumped the gun and investigated Jimenez’s home without waiting for a warrant, Jimenez had walked away Scot free. His father--the chief of police—had been none too happy to hear it.

It was always interesting though. You got to see the diversity of Caulder City up front and in your face. Especially where he and his partner worked in the 12. The twelfth precinct included much of the city center and the boroughs where integration had more or less succeeded. Humans and Anthros of all species walked side by side in mostly peaceful cooperation. Its beauty was always heartwarming.

“Hey Faggot go to the deepest pits of hell!” He heard someone say and the sound of a fist connecting with a stomach and a solid “oof”

Kevin looked back at Ray and Ray gave him a solid, confident nod. The human and Orca pulled out their Smith & Wesson 9mm handguns at once. They rushed into the alley from where they heard the call. A fox anthro dressed rather effeminately and coquettishly. He was surrounded by four very large, very muscular anthros of varying species. A bull at about seven feet—at the crown, a dragon at six and a half, a thoroughbred stallion and another bull anthro at just over six one. They all had anger in their eyes and their hands were all fists. The fox was curled over like he’d just been hit in the stomach. The ‘oof’ they’d heard earlier being confirmed as coming from the fox.

“Everyone Freeze! Hands in the Air!” Kevin commanded. His normally shy, demure demeanor disappearing as his voice took on an air of command.

The larger Bull and the Dragon had been facing away from him. As such, they quickly about faced and raised their hands in the air. He heard Naqut behind him radioing in the call, “We have a 10-15 at 5th and Downing. I repeat we have a 10-15 at 5th and downing Requesting assistance. We have four unarmed perps and one injured civilian. Requesting a bus forthwith.”

“Back away from the fox, slowly.” Kevin commanded the four perps. All but one pulled away from the fox. It was the shorter bull who stayed. “I won’t say again, back away from the fox!”

“Fucking faggot cop ruining our fun! Go to hell copper!” the shorter bull dropped his hand and reached into the back of his pants. Three shots rang out in quick succession and the bull fell back and hit the ground next to the now-whimpering fox. He was dead before he hit the ground.

“Asshole fucking killed my baby brother!” The other bull rushed Kevin, before he had a chance to swing around and focus on the incoming bull he was on the ground. The large bull had him pinned with his arms above his head, gun having flung from his grip and he was using all of his weight to keep Kevin on his back.

“Everyone on the ground now!” a rather growling voice came from the mouth of the alley as six officers rushed in with guns trained on the perps. The distraction tore the bull’s attention away from Kevin. The human used the opportunity to his advantage as he bucked his hips up and rolled over and on top of the older bull. The situation now reversed the human detective just disengaged from the somewhat stunned wolf as a honey badger came up behind him and cuffed the perp.

With all the perps cuffed and being escorted to black-and-whites, the paramedics came in to assess the victim. An officer in a white uniform and with a golden oak leaf on his collar and of Equine descent came up to the two detectives with a grim expression on his face. “Biel, you fired your weapon?”

“Yes, Commander.”

“I need your weapon and your badge. IA will handle the rest. Until you are cleared for duty again, you are hereby on administrative leave. Am I understood?”

“Yes, Commander.” Kevin’s head held low, he handed the commander his S&W and his badge, and went to wait by the car.

“Commander Wilson…” Ray, began.

“Yes, Naqut. What is it?”

“I know that this was a clean kill. Kevin had told the perp to back off twice when he reached down behind himself and into his pants.”

“That’s for internal affairs to decide. You and I both know that Kev’s a good cop and an even better detective. But your gut can get you into trouble sometimes. IA will sort this out and then Kevin will return to the twelve and all will be well. In the meantime, let’s go speak with the victim.”

***

“Mr. Richarde is known to have a very active night life. And has been suspected of predation on several counts. He’s unsuited to the responsibility of raising a child on his own and the State requests that this court release Richarde, Jr. into our care.” The ADA spoke cleanly and eloquently in a refined aristocratic lilt. His suit, like Richarde’s lawyer’s, was tailored and made from the finest silk. Of course, he was human. Not just human, but he had blonde hair, blue eyes, a heavy brow and a thick jaw. He was the definition of an alpha male human, if Richarde could make the presumption. His colleague was a demure black-haired, petite woman, probably just out of law school. They were trying to paint the court a pretty picture about the System and children in the System.

“All of those cases were dropped, Luther. You know that just as well as I. Mr. Lawrence is not responsible for any of those predations and you are just trying to use people’s prejudices to take a good kid away from his loving family.”

The gavel banged against the desk three times and Judge Garfield intoned in a very southern drawl, “Order! Order in my court!”

“I apologize, Your Honor. Well let’s see here, Mr. Lawrence has a stable job, a home with more than enough space for the two. He earns way more than enough to raise the hatchling in question, who, may I remind the court, is nigh on seventeen himself. He is capable of taking care of himself, despite his being a minor under the law. Richarde, Sr. pays for Junior to go to a private, mostly human high school, where despite many prejudices and favoritism rampant among the staff, Junior is excelling with a 3.5 unweighted GPA. The fact is, Luther, Your Honor, I could string out this case and try and explain why foster care is absolutely the worst place for children of any species, race, or creed, but instead I’ll present it like it is. This case isn’t about the true needs of Richarde deVille Lawrence or his son. It’s about my opponent’s boss’ inflated ego. My council to the court is to allow the hatchling to grow up in his family home and not some foster home where he’ll be mistreated due to his species.”

Mark kind of looked over at the ADA in disbelief. He should have objected the comment about his boss’ inflated ego. He really could tell that Luther’s heart wasn’t in this case. He wasn’t really fighting him out of belief that Richarde was a bad father, he was fighting him—dispassionately—for his boss.

The judge looked between the two attorneys and raised an eyebrow. “The both a’ ya. Approach the stand.”

“I am not going to point out that you could have objected that personal attack, Luther, but you could have. Are we really just going through the motions, here? He ain’t a bad father. I can see that clearly just from looking at him. So why are we even here? Just to further punish a grieving widower?”

“Sir, the DA has his own Ideas of family and a home where the main caregiver is constantly out at night seeking the attention of other males is not within that ideal.”

“Luther, you don’t agree, do you.”

“No. Ricky’s perfectly happy where he is and I am not going to pull a child away from a home that is providing for him perfectly well just because my boss is a bigot.”

“Markus, what do you think we should do, Mr. Lawrence seems exhausted. Let’s declare this what it is. A sham of a case.”

Both lawyers nodded their heads and said, “Agreed” at the same time.

“Dismissed.”

“With the power vested in me by the Caulder County Court system, I hereby declare Mr. Richarde deVille Lawrence, Sr. the lawful and rightful father of his son, one Richarde deVille Lawrence, Jr.”

Richarde sighed heavily in relief. He relaxed into the chair and threw his head back and his arms up in the air.

As Mark got up to leave richarde stood up and untangled himself from the chair. He slithered over to Mark and gave him a giant hug. The bear started. “Rick, it’s fine, really.”

“I just wanted to give you something other than a material present.”

The bear blushed. “Well you’re most certainly welcome.”

The two walked out together shooting the breeze as old friends do.
