Dark snowfall Theo was a very carefree trainer, not caring about badges as his pokemon believed he was worthy enough of commanding them. "Phew almost there...I think" Theo said holding the map tightly, he looked up and saw a large blue wall coming into view. His eyes widened and he sighed in relief, never had it taken him this long to find a certain area. Coming up to the gates a young girl, with long minty green hair came up to him, "Oh a visitor?" she said with a clear voice. "Uhm yes I am" Theo said. "Welcome to Koru Ouru, the city of ice! My name's Selena and I'm the chief!" she said proudly. "My name's Theo, a traveling pokemon trainer" Theo scratched his hair, as the cold wind began to pick up. "Ohh then come on in, we don't get many visitors, but I'll be more than happy to give you a tour!" Selena said with a happy smile. Theo nodded as the two began walking the cold stone roads. Koru Ouru was more of a fortress than a city, with walls connecting to a moutain. Inside those walls were many houses, and with a castle built in the mountains. All the walking was worth it, Koru Ouru was amazingly beautiful, the sky was a deep blue and it was always snowing very lightly. All kinds of ice Pokemon, were inhabiting the streets, happily living together with humans. Vanilluxe quietly floated by and Dewgong swam through the icey lakes. Theo even saw the legendary Aritcuno flying towards the mountains, after what seemed like hours Selena finally ended the tour with a recommended Inn "Aaaand that's it for the tour! This is where you can stay for the time being!" Selena said in her same proud voice. "Oh uhm thank you, Selena" Theo said smiling warmly. "Ehe you're welcome! Enjoy your stay" Selena waved her hand as she walked towards the blue castle. "Phew... I could use a nap and some food" Theo laughed to himself, all the walking through the snow made him more fatigued then he noticed. He rented his room and found it to be very expensive, (Oh my Arceus, 20000 pokedollars for a month?! It better be insanely luxurious) Theo thought as he rented the room. He made his way towards his room and took hold of the cold doorknob. He opened the door before nearly having his jaw dropped, the floor was completely carpeted along with a large double bed and a huge tv. The bathroom was the equivalent of the actual room, the bathroom floor was covered with several blue tiles and came with a tub and a shower. "Holy crap, no wonder it's so expensive, not a single stain..." Theo said as he looked at his reflection. After a shower, he hopped onto the bed and nearly began to sink in it. "So soft..." The next morning was met with what little sunshine passed through the thick clouds that rained snow. Theo woke up shivering even under the thick blanket, "Man.. it's really cold..." he muttered under his blanket. Sighing he got out of bed placing his feet first on the warm furry floor, the digital clock on the desk next to Theo's bed read 7:34. Walking up to the curtains, he pulled them apart and the light that flooded in only made the room dim instead of dark. The streets of Koru Ouru were completely empty and not a soul was visible through the cold glas window. But that didn't discourage Theo, during the tour there were many things he wanted to visit, shops that sold all kinds of ice cream, the hot spring inside crescent cave. But most of all he wanted to go to the ice theme park, there he saw all kinds of rides, performances, parades, activities and such. The excitement was almost too much for Theo to contain, he swiftly did his morning routine and rushed to his door. Taking a deep breath, he opened the door but with Selena at the other side, Theo was a bit confused why she was here, if not dissapointed.

"Good morning Theo! I hope you had a wonderful night" Selena said as she smiled at Theo. "Yeah I did, and you?" Theo smiled back. Wild Pokemon can't mega evolve on their own" "I thought that as well, but this Absol is a mystery indeed, I heard it also learned human speech" "Hmm" Theo thought for a moment "Oh and I was gonna pay your rent and any other expenses, if you accepted the task of bringing it back to me" Selena finished. That enough, persuaded Theo to capture the absol and bring it back to Selena. Spending time here without having to pay the inn's rent would make the vacation a lot less expensive. "Deal" Theo smiled as he shook hands with Selena. After a little bit of talking and explaining Selena left, leaving her regards for Theo and telling him he could take his time. The rest of the day Theo had begun gearing up, buying some thicker and warmer clothing and several super potions. Although his vacation was put to a halt, it still excited Theo to battle against something new; plus he hasn't had a battle in quite some time. "Alright! I managed to finish before 4:00 might as well go fight it" Theo was confident in beating the Mega Absol. Exiting Koru Ouru he traveled to the Frozen Bone lake, the area was frozen so badly that snow had piled on it, turning it into a snowfield of pure white. Theo saw another mountain nearby with a large open circular area in front, for some reason the snow had been cleared there with no ice below it. Walking towards the strange site, he gasped as he saw a sliver of white move. "Is that?...the mega Absol!" Theo hid behind some snow, the absol was cleaning up the snow, it's wings were a brilliant white and it's coat was glimmering. Theo a bit intimidated by it's size and appearance, he stepped forward and moved towards the circular area. Theo's heart was pumping, "Alright Scizor let's do this!" as he placed his fingers on his watch. Both Scizor and Theo glowed with a bright light as Scizor mega evolved, with it's size and pincers bigger than ever. "Now X-scissor let's go!" the steel bug's claws glowed a emerald shine as it rushed towards the mega Absol. "Heh" the Absol flew up and swiftly dodged the attack, with scizor's back facing, she blasted a terrifying dark pulse at it. "That shouldn't have damaged Scizor very much..." Theo said a little worried as the smoke from the collision subsided. Scizor was still in good shape as he readied his pincers for another attack, "alright! hit em with a bullet punch" Theo commanded as Scizor dashed at lightspeed and smashed the Absol toward the ground. "Ow! that hurt..." the Absol said ticked off, as she slowly got back on her feet. "Good job scizor" Theo said holding a thumbs up as the steel bug nodded. "Grr... I'm not done yet" Absol growled as flames overflowed her maw, firing a massive star of inferno at Scizor. "Scizor dodge quick!" Theo shouted but it was too late, the flames had already reached it, causing a massive explosion of smoke and fire. "Nyahaha take that you fool!" the dark pokemon grinned with pride, slowly the smoke subsided and there lay Scizor fainted. "No..." Theo said as he returned Scizor back to his pokeball, "rest easy now". Absol looked confused for a second, but shook it off as she took the air again. Theo was determined to defeat this powerful entity as he readied another pokeball. "Alright Tyranitar it's your turn!" Theo shouted as the pokeball opened up summoning the giant beast. The ground shook as Tyranitar stomped on the cold earth, Absol watched the intimidating tyrant from the air. "Tyranitar use stone edge!" Theo commanded as Tyrannitar became encircled by sharp stones as he sent them flying towards Absol. Not even flinching, the dark pokemon dodged the stone edge with ease and charged towards Tyranitar with her horn glowing a verdant green. "N-No way... Tyranitar use rock slide to protect yourself quickly!!" Theo panicked, if the Absol's mega horn hit tyranitar it would do massive damage. Tyranitar summoned rocks from the sky and was able to hit Absol and trap her under the heavy boulders. Theo's fear of losing quickly disappeared as he gained his confidence again, Absol struggled under the weight as it began crushing her. Tyranitar stood ready to strike the final blow, but Theo saw the Absol's distress and began to hesitate. "Uhm.. dammit I have to defeat it now... but why do I feel like I can't do it..?" Theo murmured to himself, he looked in Absol's eyes which were full of confusion, but soon filled with rage. Theo was surprised at the sheer power of that dark pulse, it shook the ground momentarily. (Oh my fucking Arceus why was I being so stupid just then?) Theo cursed himself as he got his bearings back, although behind the dark type he saw a huge clumps of snow breaking down from the mountain they were near to. "Hm? what's wrong??" "Uhm hey why did you save me back there?" Theo asked as the throbbing dissipated, he couldn't tell Absol's expression in the darkness. No but that means this whole task has a different meaning behind it...maybe..) Theo's thougth began to wander, but Absol interrupted him. "Theo was it? Listen, we're stuck here and I'd like to get some fresh air before I die of starvation or something else entirely" the Absol directed their chat towards the danger of the situation they were in. "Oh right!" Theo said as he began to fumble around his bag in search of his pokeballs, a chill ran up his spine as he noticed they weren't there anymore. "Uh Theo don't tell me you don't have them" Absol said worried, she knew it was pitch black but you can't miss a pokeball in a bag. Nothing came from Theo's lips as he frantically began placing all the contents of the bag on the cold ground. Absol spit out a fire blast to light up the cave for a few seconds, there were no pokeballs to be found nearby either. Theo began to panic, and Absol knew it from his heavy breaths. "Calm down Theo we still have time and panicking is not an option!" Absol shouted to stop Theo from panicking. "good" Absol smiled, he scratched his head as thanked the dark type and the two began searching for the missing pokeballs. Surprisingly the cave seemed to go really far, Theo and Absol made sure to not miss anything, but yet nothing that looked close to a pokeball was seen. "Geez why is this cave so long, the pokeballs couldn't have gotten this far by itself right?" Theo said beginning to get tired from all the walking. "Well I don't know why you humans made them round in the first place" Absol said using a fire blast against the wall. Theo chuckled, the two came to the end of the cave with six pokeballs scattered about. Both of them gasped as they looked at each other with wide smiles. "YEAH!!!" Theo would do a victory jump if the ceiling wasn't so low. Absol giggled "Well we're not out of the danger yet, we should hurry". Theo ran up to the each pokeball and put them in their proper place, Absol picked one up with her paw and gave it to Theo. Absol and Theo waited as the Excadrill began clearing all the snow blocking the entrance. A ray of light shined out of a small crack in the snow, as it burst open. Theo blocked his eyes from the sudden brightness, he felt the smooth air rushing inside the opening of the cave. Theo took a minute to absorb the moment of freedom, Absol smiled as she stepped out on the thick snow. "Thank you so much Excadrill!" Theo said as he returned it to its pokeball. "So are you still going to capture me?" Absol said with her back turned to Theo. Theo just then remembered his task, but he brushed it off, knowing full-well this Absol was not evil. "No of course not, you're not as evil as everyone says you are" Theo said with a big goofy smile, Absol chuckled but her smile soon became disappointed. "Huh? what's wrong Absol?" Mary refused his offer, not fully trusting the trainer. "I'll just wait for you" "Alright, I'll be back" "Ok... but don't keep me waiting" Absol said as she began taking off into the air. "Meet me over there when you come back" she pointed to a big opening, a little higher up the mountains. "Will do.."Theo mumbled the two went to their designated areas, Theo's being a lot harder as the cold wind began to pick up. The sun had set and a blue darkness filled the sky, he noticed a few chaotic lights in the sky from spotlights, he was close to Koru. This represented an oasis in this white desert, but for some reason it now struck Theo as a menacing prison. A shiver traveled up his spine as he got closer to the gates, two guards looked at him hostile at first but they ignored his presence afterwards and let him inside. The streets were quiet, not a soul was seen in the large fortress, all the lights in the houses were turned off. Theo continued walking through the empty streets, the street lights did little to illuminate the darkness. "Why is it so... quiet here" Theo whispered looking behind him every few minutes, he felt lost in this concealed city. He continued to walk towards the inn he slept at, his mind dealing with thoughts and a strange fear. Theo's eyes widened, he never saw such power before. "Alright Theo now do you see why you can't leave?" Selena said as she sat on a Articuno as the two descended from the sky. "You can't leave because we know you negotiated with the Mega Absol, thus you can tell us where it resides and I don't mind torturing you for an answer" "Ugh why do you want her so bad anyway?!"
