#4 of To Catch a Rabbit

Chapter 4 finally arrives! Can't believe I let nearly 4 months go by since chapter 3, hopefully I won't let as long pass till the next chapter. I do my writing at work, and my office moved to a new building with a much more open floor plan so it feels more awkward to be writing smut there, plus our workflow was changed giving us less downtime. Both of which slowed my writing down.

I had intended this chapter and the next to be a single chapter titled 'Learning to Hunt', but this half ended up being longer than I thought it would be, so decided to split it in two. Now looking at 6 chapters instead of 5. Lots of story progression in the 1st half of this chapter.

Ten stood at the open back door and waved goodbye to Tim darted into the woods to sneak his way to school. Once Tim was out of sight he headed back inside to get ready for everything he had planned for today. He wasn't sure how easy it would be to get done, but he hoped Tim would be happy with the results.

He gathered up the paperwork he had spent most of the night downloading and filling out, It was usually tough to sleep on such a full stomach anyway... and headed out. His first stop would be city hall.

At school Tim was distracted for most of the day, not that that hadn't been a common occurrence since he'd moved in with Ten, but today was more than usual. He couldn't stop thinking about what he had helped Ten do the day before.

His emotions were a conflicted mess. Sure, Brandon had always been a real jerk and part of him was glad that he'd lured him into becoming an untimely meal. On the other paw, they had been brothers, they'd been a part of each other's lives since the day he'd been born... and there had been some fun times, hadn't there? Now, he'd never see Brandon again...

That wasn't the only thing weighing on his mind though. He couldn't shake the feeling of being part of the hunt, it had been... exhilarating. When Ten hunted him he got a rush, but he understood that that was just the fight or flight response. This, was different. To be a part of catching another person, even if he didn't do the catching himself. Was this how Ten felt when he hunted? Why he had claimed it was something he needed to do regularly?

A tap on his shoulder interrupted his thoughts. Startled, he turned around to see his best friend, well only friend, Josh. He had been avoiding Josh the past week, not wanting to explain why he'd missed their plans the day that Ten had come into his life, or to accidentally reveal where he'd been. But, his distracted thoughts today had gotten the better of him.

"Hey? Where have you been Timmy? You never showed last week and I haven't seen you around. I've been worried, your mom said she hasn't seen you either... not that that's very surprising."

"Yeah, umm, sorry about that," Tim stammered. "I've been, umm, staying with a, umm, friend."

Josh looked both surprised and a little betrayed, "Friend? I, I though I was your only friend," He looked around, "Who?"

"He's, umm, new in town, you don't know him."

"Huh, new? I don't remember seeing any new kids. Does he go to another school?"

"No, he's umm." How to get out of this? "He, umm, doesn't go to school." Well, it was true...

Josh's ears perked at that, a kid that didn't go to school, such a thing was possible? "Whoa, how? What, is he home schooled? Can I meet him?"

"No, umm, I mean, I don't know, he's pretty private." Oh boy... "I'd, umm, have to ask him."

Josh seemed to deflate, "Oh, well, you want to come over this weekend? Got a new game we can try out." His tail waged behind him expectantly.

Tim really wanted to, but what would Ten say? Plus, he'd said something this morning about hoping to have a big surprise tonight. "Umm, tonight might not be good. Maybe some other time."

"Oh, ok, well, umm, yeah, just don't, umm, go disappearing for a week like that again, huh?" He slowly turned and walked away, clearly saddened by Timmy's odd behavior.

Tim wanted to call after his friend, but couldn't find the words. Was his new relationship with Ten going to make him loose the one real friend he'd ever had? He hadn't considered that possibility, and now he had another thing to weigh on his mind.

Ten's first stop at city hall had gone surprisingly well, and so now here he stood before a front door with a city official, a rather pathetic squirrely looking feline of some kind, he thought there might be at least some lynx in there, but couldn't be sure. The door was answered by a slightly husky looking female rabbit.

"Mrs., umm," The lynx looked down at the paperwork he was carrying, "Mrs. Ward?" He asked in his grating nasally voice. The woman nodded. "I'm Mr. Rhider from city hall, and this is Mr. Tenlon. May we come in and speak with you?"

The woman looked them both over critically then stepped aside and gestured for them to enter. She lead them into the kitchen where she offered them seats. "What's this about?" she finally spoke in a gruff voice. A pair of screaming kids ran past the kitchen door.

"Mrs. Ward, I will get straight to the point. You are know doubt familiar with the abandonment adoption laws?" Her eyes shifted slightly.

"I am."

Much like the predatory laws, the abandonment adoption laws were a carry over from the feral days which wasn't often exorcized these days. They stated that any cub clearly neglected or abandoned by its parents could be adopted by anyone who chose to take it in. Newer legal changes to the law did however state that the parents must sign off on the adoption thereby making it legal.

"Well, Mr. Tenlon here has provided us with evidence that your son," he shuffled through his paperwork again. "Your son, Timmy, has been living with him for the past week."

She cocked her head as if in deep thought, "Timmy? Hmm... oh yes, Timmy. I suppose I haven't seen him recently. So many children, I can't be expected to keep track of all of them every moment."

The casualness of that statement surprised Ten and momentarily left Mr. Rhider speechless. "Yes, well, considering the evidence Mr. Tenlon has provided, and the fact no missing child report has been filed with city hall. It has been determined that Timmy qualifies under the abandonment adoption laws, and Mr. Tenlon has applied to take full legal custody of him."

He slid a stack of papers across the table towards Mrs. Ward. "Unless you wish to contest the adoption your signature will be required to acknowledge your consent and finalize the transfer of legal responsibility."

She silently studied the papers presented to her before finally replay, "Eh, 1 less month to feed. What do I care?" She quickly signed the form before shoving it back across the table.

"Very well, Mr. Tenlon, your signature please." The papers were passed to Ten. He shouldn't have been surprised it had been so easy with the way that Tim had spoken of his family, but still the swift casualness with which she gave up her son was stunning. As he added his signature to the forms his full stomach gurgled softly bringing a grin to his lips. There was something perverse about legally taking a child from his mother while he slowly digested another.

"Now if you'll excuse me, school will be out soon and I'll be overrun with hungry mouths... unless of course you'd like to take anymore of them with you." Mrs. Ward walked away from the table without waiting for a reply to her rhetorical statement.

With the deed done Ten had a couple more stops to make before getting back home before Tim got out of school.

Tim didn't see much of Ten that afternoon when he got home from school. He just said something about having a big surprise for him later that night and told him to go off and play. It made him sulk around a bit wondering if he had done something wrong, but then he had said he had a big surprise for him. As dinner time approached he started to smell the scent of cooking meat he'd become accustomed to over the past week. But that was odd, Ten had said he wouldn't need a meal for several days after Brandon...

When Ten finally called him for dinner he trotted off a little reluctantly, hopping he'd find out why Ten was being so secretive and what this 'big surprise' was. He was surprised to see a steaming bowl waiting at his normal place and nothing in front of Ten. If Ten really wasn't eating then why had he smelled meat cooking?

Tim sat down and studied the bowl waiting for him. There was a small portion of... something. It was definitely meat, or at least had meat in it, but it wasn't one of the large slabs of meat he'd become accustomed to seeing Ten eat, he'd never seen a dish quite like it before. He sniffed at it noticing there were carrots, potatoes, and other vegetables in it as well.

Ten had been offering him meat every day, and he had to admit that he'd been getting more and more tempted to try it, but was he really ready? Rabbits just weren't supposed to be carnivores, everyone knew that.

"It's called stew, there's both meat and vegetables in it. If you don't think you're ready for the meat you can pick at the veggies and just sample the taste of the meat from the sauce."

Well that seemed reasonable. Tim picked up a fork and speared a large carrot. He sniffed it before tentatively popping it into his mouth. He didn't know what to expect as the juices hit his tongue. The familiar taste of vegetables was strong, but he was also hit by a strong earthiness which perfectly matched the smells he had become used to.

After several minutes of enjoying the various veggies he tentatively speared a small piece of the mysterious meat. Bringing it to his nose he sniffed it then held it motionless in front of his mouth. "Go on, give it a try. You can always spit it out or stop with just the one taste," Ten encouraged him.

Slowly he placed it into his mouth, he let it rest on his tongue for a moment. It tasted no different than the sauce the veggies were steeped it, so he rolled it towards his teeth and bit down. There was no familiar crunch of veggies, it squished easily between his blunt teeth. Slowly he chewed, it was soft but oddly rubbery, bouncing back slightly as his jaw relaxed. No veggie had ever done that, it was an odd sensation.

He swallowed it and speared a second piecing bringing it up to his month more quickly. Curious, he looked at Ten, "What kind of meat is this anyway."

"Rabbit," he answered flatly.

Tim froze, fork hovering just in front of his open mouth. His eyes flicked rapidly between Ten and the speared bit of flesh trying to grasp the implications. The fork wobbled slightly threatening to clatter to the table.

"Hey, it's ok," Ten tried to ensure him. "It was just a feral rabbit I picked up at the grocery store earlier today."

Tim slowly set the fork down, "Oh, well, it was good, I guess. I just don't, umm, think I'm quite ready for THAT."

"It's ok, I won't push you. You gave me a nice rabbit meal and I thought I'd try returning the favor for your first taste of meat, and to celebrate."

Tim nodded slowly looking at the plate for a while longer than looked up at Ten. "Celebrate? Celebrate what?"

Ten smiled and reached across the table placing a stack of papers in front of him. They looked all adult and didn't mean much to the young cub, but he did notice his name standing out in several places. "I adopted you from your parents today."

Ten cocked his head a bit. "Adopted? Does that mean...?"

"Mmmhmm. You legally live here now. Don't have to hide anymore, and never have to go back to your old home. I'm now your..."

"DADDY!" The cub launched through the air over the table arms spread wide straight towards the surprised tiger.

Ten caught the flying cub in a big hug with an oof. The impact nearly knocking his chair over backwards. "Easy there kiddo."

Tim looked up at him, "Really?" Ten just nodded; causing him to squeal with delight. "I love you! I love you! I love you!"

His squealing excitement went on for several minutes before he finally calmed and plopped down into Ten's lap. "So this really means I don't have to keep hiding and sneaking home every day after school?" Ten nodded. "And would I be able to bring home a friend sometime?"

"Well, I suppose it does." He hadn't thought of that. There was going to be more to having a cub than he'd anticipated.

Tim bounced giddily, "Good, cause Josh caught me at school today and started trying to ask where I've been."

"Josh? That wolf I've seen you with?"

"Yeah, well, he's only half wolf. His mom is a sheep."

That explained it. He'd known he was a hybrid but hadn't been able to place the mix, herbivore-carnivore hybrids made for some interesting traits. "Guess you could say he's a real sheep-dog then, huh?"

Tim burst out giggling, "I never thought of that!"

They sat together for a while discussing what it would mean to be a real father and son now. Finally Tim looked up into Ten's eyes, "Can we go to the bedroom?"

It took Ten a second to realize what Tim was asking, "Oh, well sure, but I don't think our agreement really has to be kept any more."

Tim looked confused for a second too, not thinking about the bargain he'd struck a week ago to avoid becoming Ten's meal. "Oh yeah, that," he said once he'd remembered. "I guess not, but the hunting is kinda fun. And well, I want to say thank you in a special way, that, well..." Ten felt his little bunny tail twitch against his leg. "I like the other stuff." He grinned up at his new dad.

Ten smiled down at the boy, somehow glad to hear that. He rose from the chair taking Tim with him and headed off to the bedroom.

Ten deposited Tim on their bed before climbing in himself. "So my frisky little bunny, how you want to do this?"

The cub bounced on the bed eagerly before turning around and wiggling his stubby rabbit's tail and tiny bum, giving occasional peaks of his tiny hidden tailhole. "I wanna do it here," he pointed teasingly at his hole, "but lets do it rough like our first time."

Ten watched the boy's hips wiggle enticingly. "You sure?" He licked his lips lightly. "No warm up or lube?" A week ago he wouldn't hesitate to ravage the boy, but he'd come to love the kid and didn't like the idea of hurting him.

Tim just wiggled his bunny butt. "Mmhmm. I want it to be special, a reminder of how we met. Besides, I've had practice," he winked, "I'm not as tight anymore. It shouldn't hurt as much this time."

Ten's pointed feline member had already been drawn out of his sheath by Tim's teasing. "Ok, if you're sure, but if it's too much just say so. I don't want to hurt you." With a growl he pounced towards the presenting cub.

"Oh no! The mean tiger is gonna get me!" Tim teased in a mocking playful tone as he hopped away from Ten's pounce. "Who will save me?" He hopped away from several more pounces leading his new daddy in a lap around the bed.

Finally Ten got a hold of the playfully fleeing cub, pinning him to the bed. "Oh yes little one, you're mine now," he echoed the first words he'd said to the boy.

He flipped Tim onto his back, and looking him in the eyes unceremoniously thrust his already hard dick into the bunny hole.

Tim screamed out from the sudden insertion, his rabbit's feet involuntarily kicking against Ten's thighs. The past week apparently hadn't prepared him for the abrupt unlubed entrance as much as he'd thought it had. It hurt just as much as the first time Ten had raped him, a stranger in the woods. His jaw quivered, tears threatening to once again stream from his eyes, but he fought to hold them back. He didn't want to ruin this special night.

Ten winced when Tim screamed out. As much as he loved the tightness and wanted to continue, he also didn't want to hurt the boy. He tentatively reached a paw towards the boy's cheek, ready to sooth him and to pull out if need be.

Tim opened his clenched eyes and swatted away Ten's paw. "No! Don't get gentle, just like the first time." he managed to say, voice quivering. "Just, just give me a second." The pain was subsiding faster than it had the first time, evidently the past week had had some effect.

Ten was silently glad that Tim was insisting he not stop or hold back, but he did give the boy the second he'd asked for, still not wanting to harm him. As soon as he saw a softening in Tim's grimace he took it as a queue and started to thrust.

Tim's face instantly contorted again into an odd expression; a hint of pain covered by determination to hold back any tears, and an odd little smirk on his lips.

Ten roughly slammed into his little bunny boy, lap audibly sounding against his butt. Tim's twitching feet still rested against his thighs, bending under this thrusts and kicking back as he withdrew, acting almost like mini springs.

Tim grunted and moaned with each trust, his face screwed up tightly, eyes clenched holding back the tears that wanted to flow; tears that would have been both a mix of pain and happiness. The look made Ten smirk, and he tried to remember back to that day in the woods, to recall more clearly what he'd done and said. Then it hit him, "Sh shh shhh, just relax," he echoed the soothing words he'd given that fateful afternoon.

The words sparked the memory of that day in Tim's mind as well. His face softened and he opened his eyes to look at Ten and smiled. "Pick me up and carry me, the way to did in the woods."

Ten's instincts to just ravage the boy were burning. With a low growl he reached his paws under Tim's back and fell backwards onto his heels lifting the cub effortlessly while keeping his cock embedded deeply. But, he didn't stop there, his foot paws already hanging off the edge of the bed slipped down to the floor, and the pair rose till Ten was standing with Tim's chest held tightly to his stomach.

Tim looked up at Ten as he reached his arms around his sides to hang on. "I love you daddy," he broke the moment of the role playing. "finish in me."

Ten wanted to tousle the top of Tim's head but couldn't let go of his grip. He shifted his paws to grab the bunny butt, trusting Tim's hugging arms to hold him upright, and began to bounce him up and down. It was an awkward movement, and he found he needed to pace around the room as he did it in order to keep his balance.

The pain of the unprepared entry had already faded away and Tim was enjoying the same pleasurable sensations he'd come to know in their sessions over the past week. He could feel that he would fall backwards if he let go, so he held his hug tightly around Ten's sides; his cheek pressed against his chest, sliding through his fur with each bounce.

Ten felt his barbs start to flair, gently tugging at Tim's sensitive walls. He never could last very long when they went at it thanks to the boy's tightness, and without a warm-up he was even tighter today. With a roar he came, once more claiming the boy, now his son, as his mate.

Ten's roars of climax always caused Tim to flinch, his primal instincts screaming at him of danger. The flinch would cause his tailhole to clench just all the more tightly around the prickly shaft making things just that much better for the both of them. His ears dropped down and he shuddered as he felt the welcome warm sensation of Ten's... his father's... seed filling him deeply.

His balance already awkward from the standing fuck, Ten's knees threatened to buckle under him when he came. He collapsed back onto the bed landing on their side. They lay together in silence, each hugging the other tightly to his chest. When his orgasm finally subsided Ten did not pull out, instead staying planted deeply as they cuddled together. "You treat me too good. What am I going to do with you when you're old enough for your bunny libido to kick in full force?"

Tim just chuckled and nuzzled his face deeper into Ten's chest fur, occasionally flexing his tailhole around his slowly softening dick, teasing it to stay erect and imbedded in him. Sleep threatened to take the both of them in this warm embrace.

But Ten had one more surprise for Tim today. "So did you really mean what you said at dinner about enjoying hunting?" Ten stroked a paw over the back of Tim's head.

He pulled his face out of Ten's chest fur and looked awkwardly up at his face. "Yeah, it's fun and exciting."

"Well how would you like to learn how to hunt instead of just hide?"

Tim perked up more, "Really? You mean it!?"

"Sure do. I picked up some mice at a pet store today. They'll be perfect to start you out on, we can start when ever you're ready."

Tim bounced and hugged Ten even tighter, "Oh, thank you, thank you, It'll be so fun! I love you daddy!"
