The Light In My Heart
#5 of Requested FanFics
Is really love blind? That, in itself, is true. But what people don't know is that blindness can come in more than one way. It can be as not seeing the faults of the one you love... or not seeing who you truly love. A literally blind man shall look into the darkness of the loneliness he was born into for that light of love that will give meaning to his life. But a light can come when no one expects it to, and to this man, his light was shining just besides him, her glow ignored by the blindness of both hearts. A sudden realization will lead to a confession in the snow where the light will burn brighter than ever, piercing the darkness of the loneliness and sadness. (M) Human X Lucario (F) Lemon warning! Go the Distortion World away if you don't like! I'M ALIVE AND BACK, KICKING, SCREAMING AND UPLOADING ONCE AGAIN, READERS! FRET NOT, ROMEO HAS COME BACK!

Jason's POV
"Twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty!" I said as I finished my morning exercises, dropping down from the bar I was using "Uh? Who were you looking at? Me? Sorry, I wouldn't know; I'm blind. Yeah, that's right, I'm a blind man. Born that way but anyway, I've dealt with it for as long as I have lived. How did I do bars without seeing? Easy, just grab the bar and pull yourself up. Ah, you mean how I found it; you'll have to hear my story to know that. A pleasure, my name is Jason Lytwyn, and this... is my story..."
Fifteen years ago
I was a ten years-old boy at the time. I used to go to a school for disabled people, after all, as I said before, I'm blind. That day, my parents dropped me off at school as usual. My teacher was waiting there, and she helped me get a good grip on my walking stick and walk to class. I entered silently and felt myself bump against someone.
"Sorry, Jason." Said a soft voice I knew all too well. She's Alice Bernard, studying here because she lacks one arm. She's pretty nice to everyone, and even without an arm she's a great chef.
"Don't worry Alice, I wasn't seeing where I was going." To a lot of people blindness is not a thing to laugh about, but I myself enjoy cracking jokes about my own. What makes it better is that other people laugh too, like what Alice was doing, and in turn it makes me happier.
"So, what are you going to do today?" She asked.
"I'll finish reading that book about the Pokémon Rangers who saved the Three Legendary Dogs of Johto from Team Go-Rock." I answered, walking over to the bookshelf, using my walking stick to avoid crashing against something or someone. I stopped once I felt my stick abruptly bump against a hard surface, and after raising it up a bit I confirmed it's the bookshelf. I brushed my hand softly against the spine of the books, feeling the relief of the familiar Braille prints. I searched and searched until I found the book I am looking for, then I took it in my hands and brought it over my desk, sitting down before opening the book in the seventy-five out of a few hundred of pages. That's the trouble with books in Braille; there're so much thicker than the normal copies. I started to slide my fingers along the surface, reading with my touch. I've always dreamt about becoming a Pokémon Ranger, saving people across the region with my trusty partner, but sadly my lack of sight doesn't allow me.
"Everybody down!" I heard before an explosion rocked the building. It stood, but if I'm not wrong we lost the front courtyard. I heard the distinct sound of a Pokémon battle raging outside, and judging from the constantly shaking building attacks must be flying through the air in every direction possible.
"Everybody out, now! Jason, here!" I felt my teacher's hand grasp my own as he dragged me out of the classroom, my arms clutching the book I was reading and my walking stick tightly. We went through stairs and hallways until the distinct heat of the sunlight hit my skin; we got outside.
"Is everybody okay?" Asked the art teacher with her old voice. I listened intently to my surroundings before a howl of pain reached my ears, coming from the courtyard. Whatever is happening there, someone innocent got hurt. I want to do something, but I can't do much without seeing. As if answering my desire, a light, for the first time, turned on in my eyes. A faint outline of something I couldn't identify very well was there, where I heard the shout coming from. Without thinking twice I dropped the things in my arms and ran towards the object, ignoring the voices that called after me. I ran and ran, feeling the blasts of attacks around me as I kept going towards whatever I am seeing, and once I reached there I kneeled down to pick it up before running.
"Left!" I heard in my mind. I just obeyed and sharply turned left before continuing my run, a loud blast coming from where I was moments before. "Right!" as I turned, little pebbles hit my back softly, signalling that something had exploded behind me "Stop!" if I hadn't obeyed that order I would have burned with whatever was in front of me, as I felt the heat of a Fire-type attack. Then I had the horrible feeling that I am surrounded, and not by nice people.
"Hand over the Pokémon and we might let you go unharmed." A voice came from my left, sounding quite hardened with slightly strained lungs, signs of someone who works in hot places.
"Give us the Pokémon if you want to walk away in one piece." Another voice called, a slight scent of salt coming from his general direction and the slight gruff making me realize he's some kind of sailor. Sweat started to slide down my neck, my legs trembling as I tried to think one way out of this, when I heard a third voice, this time in my head.
"Please don't, please don't give me to that people!" Now that I think about it, that voice sounds definitely female, and the shiver coming from the furred body in my arms told me that this is the voice of the Pokémon.
"You made me see." I told her, "Be my eyes, and I won't let you go." Then it happened again: I can see! Outlines of everything around me appeared in front of me, from the men to my left and right to what was behind and in front of me.
"I will." Her voice said.
"Well, I decided." Strangely, the outlines that defined the men changed colour. What am I seeing? I'll think about that once I'm somewhere safer. "This Pokémon... is for myself!" I started running again, this time without any fear. I moved right and left, dodging the attacks that came from my back, and not once did I stop. I wouldn't let this being, which gave me sight, to be taken away from me. I slid down a parked truck and got up quickly, seeing in the distance other people, ones with lighter outlines, who felt more trustworthy.
"Get down, kid!" One of them shouted. I dived into prone and hugged the Pokémon tightly to my body, shielding her. Then I heard a call I've dreamt to say myself.
"Capture on!" Three voices shouted in unison. I heard a whooshing sound, the signature sound of the famous Capture Disks. After a short while, the roars stopped and I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Come on, get up." A woman bending over me said. I stood up and oriented my face towards her outline. "That was a good run, kid."
"You said so yourself, Solana!" A man said behind her, his voice sounding different from the one who told me to get down.
"Good work, Solana and Lunick." An authoritative voice said; I presume that was the leader. I saw his outline move in front of me before crouching and offering a hand, which I hesitantly took. "My name is Spenser, and yours?"
"Jason Lytwyn." I answered.
"Well, Jason. Can you recognize the people who attacked you?" He asked.
"No sir, I can't. I'm blind." I confessed.
"Kid, I know the sun is strong today, but that's an exaggeration." That was Lunick, I suppose.
"How many fingers do you see?" Solana asked. I saw her stretch three fingers.
"Three?" I asked shyly.
"You are pretty good." She said, "But just to be sure, what's the colour of Spenser's hair?"
"I don't know, I'm blind." I repeated. I heard Spenser humming before the outline of his face turn to me.
"Can you identify the Pokémon in your arms?"
"I can feel her fur, and through the voice she projected in my mind I identified her gender." I answered. "Things like colour I don't know."
"How did you run like that, then?"
"She became my eyes. She is the first thing I've seen, so I didn't hesitate to go for her. I may sound dramatic or poetic, but she's my light, and I'll clutch her tightly as long as I'm breathing." My hold on the Pokémon in my arms tightened ever so slightly "No one will take her away from me."
"You have guts kid, I'll give you that." Spenser told me, "If you want, you can be a Ranger with us."
"For real?!" I asked, excited before I felt him place his hand on my head.
"Of course, as long as you can fulfil these three conditions." He assured, "Firstly: wait until you are fifteen. Secondly: master that vision of yours; it obviously will be pretty useful. And thirdly: take good care of that Pokémon in your arms."
"I will, sir!" I replied with a salute. He patted my head before I saw him and his companions walk away. I stood there, just processing what just happened before turning back and walking towards school.
"So, what Pokémon are you?" I asked after a while.
"Riolu." She answered softly. "I'm the Aura Pokémon. That's what I'm making you see: the Aura World."
"Aura, huh?" I said and felt her nodding "Well, would you help me with this Aura Vision?"
"Sure." When I got back I was scolded and cheered, though what I liked the best was Alice's hug. Today was intense, but my parents let me keep Riolu. As we laid in my bed I thought for a while before deciding to go for it.
"Riolu." I called, hearing a hum in response "Can I give you a name?" I felt the bed shuffling a little, making me assume that she turned to me.
"Why?" she questioned.
"Because you are special to me." I replied. I felt her get closer to hug me, so I took that as a yes. "Hikari. You are my light."
Four Years Later
"Come on, Jason! Keep it up!"
"Easier said than done!" I grunted back as I did push-ups with a rock on my back, Hikari sitting on the rock. Four years have passed since our unexpected and quite dangerous meeting, and since then Hikari has trained me in all aura, body and mind, pushing me to my greatest extents. Today is the anniversary of our reunion, and like the last three years we're doing a marathon. She even decided to start teaching me how to fight last year!
"A hundred!" I said at last, leaning to a side to let the rock fall off me, Hikari jumping to land beside my panting form.
"Good!"She exclaimed, no doubt with a shit-eating smile over her muzzle. "Thirty more than the last time we tried!"
"That's because you've worked me to the ground this year." I breathed through my panting.
"Jason..."She said, her 'voice' suddenly sounding worried."What will you do once I have nothing more to teach you?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'll become a Pokémon Ranger!" I exclaimed.
"The truth is... I don't have anything else to teach you." She confessed "You've mastered the Aura Vision and are as proficient in combat as a Lucario. You can even use aura to increase your efficiency. There's no human like you."
"Woah, really?! Thanks Hikari! It's all thanks to you!" I told her.
"Well, then this is it. Goodbye." She said, almost in a whisper.
"What?" I asked. "Why?"
"I've taught you everything you need to know to be a Pokémon Ranger and an Aura Master." She answered. "Before you needed me to see, but now you can do it on your own. You don't need me anymore."
"What are you talking about?" I asked in a low voice. "How can you think about yourself like that? You are not my Arceus damn flashlight!"
"But-" She went on but I cut her off.
"But nothing!" I shouted "You're right: I kept you because you made me see! But that was before!"
"Then what now?!"
"Now I want you with me because of you!" I shouted at her, "You're my best friend, my anchor, my confident! You know me like no one else does! I've trusted you with my life for four years now! And if I had to choose, I would trust the rest of it to you!"
"..."Silence greeted my ears, making me fear that she ran away without another word. Such fear disappeared the moment I felt her hug me, her body starting to feel like it is changing.
"Jason..."Her 'voice' sounded different, slightly deeper yet more feminine; like she changed from a girl to a young woman "...Thank you... for everything you said."
"You... are different..." I said as I traced her body lightly with my hands, noticing she's now just a foot shorter than my 4'9". I felt spikes on her paws and another one at her chest, though I blushed as my hands grazed her new C-cup cleavage. "So, this is your evolution, a Lucario."
"Why didn't you use your Aura Vision to see me?" She asked as she released the hug.
"I prefer to use my touch to see things important to me, and you are no exception." I answered, smiling "Now let's go: we need to finish our marathon."
"Now I'll really work you to the bone." She said, giggling, the sound quite sweet in my ears.
"And I wouldn't like it any other way." I told her.
Six Years Later
"Alright Hikari, I'm going out. Food is on the oven, so you just need to heat it up." I said as I made sure I had my Ranger jacket on and nice, my pants and belt secured and my own custom Capture Styler in my holster. My Capture Styler, instead of using a metal Capture Disk, it uses my aura to create one, though that's not relevant to this story.
"Will you tell her?" I heard Hikari asking.
"Yeah..." I answered "I'll tell her today; no more delays."
"Good luck." She gave me with a hug that I returned before putting on my shoes and taking my new walking stick. I got out of my house and turned on my Aura Vision, scanning my surroundings before giving a tap with my stick, releasing aura through it to act like a Zubat's supersonic sensor. After making sure I could 'see' I started to walk towards the Lunick Fountain, still quite impressed that I actually met the protagonists of the Johto Dogs Rescue when I met Hikari. I brushed my left hand over my chest, feeling my Rank 10 badge, and a little lower my Rank 13 Top Ranger identification.
"Jason, over here!" I heard Alice's sweet voice calling, and I smiled as I walked to her, making sure I kept using my Aura Sensor.
"Hi Alice." I replied happily as I sat next to her on the fountain, my face turning to face her "How's the restaurant going?"
"Pretty nice." She answered. "But I heard you finally made it to one of the Top Rangers, and that number 13 must be it."
"Yeah, after those years of struggle I made it." I said "My new Capture Styler is in the making, and I'll receive it in a week or so." I fidgeted a little in my seat as I got ready to tell her. "Alice... there's something I need to tell you."
"Really? I have to tell you something too." She replied "May I go first?"
"Yeah, sure." I told her, forcing my voice to not quiver.
"I wondered if you could help with my wedding." She said.
Wedding...?
WEDDING?!
"You... are getting married?" I asked, feeling my heart crunch up in a ball.
"Yeah." She confirmed the horrible, to me, news "Do you remember Tim? From my culinary school?"
"Ye-yeah, I do." I choked out of my throat "I-I didn't know you are an item."
"Well, I didn't expect it." She said, her outline taking a pink tone, signalling infatuation "We just hit it off really well, after all, he was the only one who didn't doubt me and supported my dream in school."
"Alice, I'm back!" I heard a new voice saying, and after another tap I made out another pink outline walking towards us. "Is this the friend you wanted to introduce me?"
"Yeah. Tim, this is Jason. We met in a school for disabled people." She confirmed "He's blind, but somehow he managed to make it to Top Ranger."
"Cool!" he said, "Timothy Onsen, but I go for Tim."
"Jason." I offered my hand, and had to refrain myself from crushing his bones to dust for taking the girl I love. I checked his aura one, two, three, four, five times, but I couldn't find any trace of ill intention, and no-one can hide anything from my Aura Vision. I released his hand and 'saw' him lean over Alice's silhouette, their faces making contact. My heart crumbled and rotted, dying inside my chest as their auras wrapped around each other.
"What time is it?" I asked through bared teeth.
"Two and half, why?" Asked Alice.
"I remembered I have something to do." I stood up and turned away from them "See you."
"Wait!"The bastard said, "I wondered if you could be my best man?"
"I'll try my best." I almost growled. I felt the humidity of the air thickening, signs of incoming rain. How fitting for my mood. I started to walk away, not running as I so wanted to, not screaming in pain as my bleeding heart desires. I wouldn't show him how much I wished to be in his place. What a fool I was for thinking that I had a chance with her, after all I am just her friend. Her friend, just that. The downpour started, drenching me as I got lost in the sadness, turning off my Aura Vision so my 360° sight wouldn't catch on their auras, which were fitting like a puzzle now.
I submitted myself to the darkness I was born into...
To the loneliness of my heart...
Present
I felt a furred paw on my shoulder, and by custom I know that Hikari is behind me.
"What are you doing?" She asked me.
"Telling this fine people my story." I answered, turning to her "You got me when I was telling them about when Alice told me she would get married."
"Oh, sorry." She said, "It's just that you've got a call."
"I'll take it." I stood up and walked out.
Hikari's POV
"Sorry for interrupting you guys." I apologized bowing to you "I hope you don't mind hearing my side of the story. Will you? Thanks a lot!" I sat down, "Well, this is what happened from my perspective."
Fifteen Years Ago
How I got here is something I'll never know, or want to. I was walking through the forest in this weird region. Fiore, I think the Pokémon called it. Luck is on my side, as there doesn't seem to be many Pokémon Trainers, and those who are don't battle with their Pokémon like in the other regions. This seems like a pacific place to be. That impression, however, crumbled when I heard humans shouting.
"What the Distortion World are you doing here?!" I opened my eyes and looked to a side, seeing two humans arguing while people dressed in similar attires were standing behind them, Pokémon ready to attack.
"I should ask you that." Said the redhead.
"You sure know why I'm here, don't you?" The human wearing black replied. I closed my eyes again and read their auras, finding bright red in them: menacing auras.
"Boss, check out this Pokémon!" I opened my eyes in horror as one of the humans in blue found me, looking at me with a greedy gaze. I cried out and turned, running away from these persons. I heard the sound of those portable prisons opening, meaning that now even Pokémon are chasing me. I ran aimlessly, just focusing on getting away from those humans. As I felt something harder than earth touching my paws I focused, noticing I had ran off to a human town, but that didn't stop me from keeping run. What stopped me though was the Hyper Beam that I don't know where it came from, missing me by an inch and hitting a garden in front of a structure. Attacks started to fly wildly as the two groups of humans battled to decide who would have me, and unfortunately a Flare Blast hit me in the back.
I howled in pain as my fur was slightly burned, my naturally hard muscles and tissue resisting most of the attack. I don't want those people to get their hands on me, anybody but them, so I sent my Aura Location around, letting anybody with a pure aura to see me. I curled up in a ball, whimpering and waiting for more pain to come. Instead, I felt thin arms hoisting me up before the owner of those limbs started running. I looked up, seeing a boy no older than eleven years old running away from those other humans. To my horror I saw a Hydro Pump attack coming from behind him, directly at us.
"Left!" I shouted using my Aural Voice. He obeyed and turned, the blast of the attack slightly shaking him, and as I saw a Rock Throw attack launched at us I gasped. Are they willing to hurt this boy in order to get their dirty hands on me? "Right!" He turned again without hesitation, making me wonder why he trusts me so much. The rock impacted the pavement, sending little rocks flying. I looked forward, seeing a Zangoose prepare a Fire Blast. "Stop!" He halted immediately, the attack hitting the ground a few feet in front of us as we felt the heat. Then I looked around, noticing we are surrounded by those bad humans.
"Hand over the Pokémon and we might let you go unharmed." The redhead human said.
"Give us the Pokémon if you want to walk away in one piece." The one in black with a beard called.
"Please don't, please don't give me to those people!" I pleaded as I shivered in fear, thoughts of what they would do with me filling my head. I felt this kid's fear, but the fact that he hasn't given me up made me trust him.
"You made me see." He said. "Be my eyes, and I won't let you go." I looked up at him, finally noticing the black glasses on his face. A boy, a blind one, was brave enough to come for me risking his own life; this is the least I can do for him: I'll be his eyes until he doesn't need me anymore. My sensors floated horizontally as I closed my eyes, the Aura World appearing in front of me, and then I transferred the image to the boy.
"I will." I told him.
"Well, I've decided." He called, the leaders of the bad humans looking at him apprehensively. "This Pokémon... is for myself!" He ran again, this time not needing my indications as he can now see, even dodging the attacks thrown at us from behind with little effort. He slid down a stopped human vehicle, standing up quickly before continuing his run. I looked forward, seeing three humans, a male with blue hair, a male with green hair and a female with lighter blue hair.
"Get down, kid!" The green haired male called. The boy dropped down onto the floor, covering me with his body as a shield. The three older humans aimed over us with some kind of red thing on their arms.
"Capture on!" The red things released some kind of metal spinning top that flew over us and towards the Pokémon attacking us. I couldn't see clearly due to the kid's body covering my view, but after a time the roars behind us stopped. I turned my eyes to the side, catching a glimpse of the blue haired female standing over us.
"Come on, get up." She instructed, the kid obeying and turning to her. "That was a good run, kid."
"You said so yourself, Solana!" The blue haired male added.
"Good work, Solana and Lunick." The green haired human said before stepping closer to the kid, crouching in front of him and offering a hand that the kid hesitantly took. "My name is Spenser, and yours?"
"Jason Lytwyn." The kid replied.
"So his name is Jason." I thought.
"Well, Jason. Can you recognize the people who attacked you?" The human, Spenser I think he called himself, asked.
"No sir, I can't. I'm blind." Jason told him.
"Kid, I know the sun is strong today, but that's an exaggeration." The blue haired human, Lunick I suppose, said. I had to repress a growl.
"How many fingers do you see?" Asked Solana. She stretched three fingers in front of Jason, making me scoff.
"Blindness is not something to joke about having." I thought.
"Three?"Asked Jason with a small voice.
"You are pretty good." Solana said "But just to be sure, what's the colour of Spenser's hair?"
"I don't know, I'm blind." Jason told her again. Spenser hummed before turning to face Jason.
"Can you identify the Pokémon in your arms?"
"I can feel her fur, and through the voice she projected in my mind I identified her gender." Jason replied "Things like colour I don't know."
"How did you run like that, then?"
"She became my eyes. She is the first thing I've seen, so I didn't hesitate to go for her. I may sound dramatic or poetic, but she's my light, and I'll clutch her tightly as long as I'm breathing." His hold on me tightened just a little bit, completely unnoticeable to the untrained eye, and yet it had so much meaning for both of us. "No one will take her away from me."
"You have guts kid, I'll give you that." Spenser declared "If you want, you can be a Ranger with us."
"For real?!" I noticed that Jason's aura became overjoyed; this Ranger thing seems very important to him.
"Of course, as long as you can fulfil these three conditions." He assured, "Firstly: wait until you are fifteen. Secondly: master that vision of yours; it obviously will be pretty useful. And thirdly: take good care of that Pokémon in your arms."
"I will, sir!" Jason replied with enthusiasm. We saw the three humans walking away, Jason seemingly lost in thought before he started to walk back to that human building.
"So, what Pokémon are you?" Jason asked after a long and comfortable silence.
"Riolu." I answered with a soft voice, being quite comfortable in Jason's arms "I'm the Aura Pokémon. That's what I'm making you see: the Aura World."
"Aura, huh?" I nodded "Well, would you help me with this Aura Vision?"
"Sure." Humans sure are curious beings, after all when Jason returned he was both berated and congratulated by his actions. Weird. He brought me to his wooden den, and laid me down on that soft surface he sleeps on. I was contemplating what would have been hadn't Jason felt my Aura Location.
"Riolu." I heard Jason calling behind me. I hummed to signal my attention to him. "Can I give you a name?" I froze for a moment. I don't have a name because I never had the chance to meet my parents, and because I was never caught by a human I've never received one. I turned and looked at the human who put his life on the line for me, trying to fathom the idea of why he wanted to give me a name to call my own.
"Why?" I asked, unable to find a reason.
"Because you are special to me." My mind shut down for a moment, processing those six words. They meant the world to me, someone who has never known love. I shuffled closer to Jason and hugged him, resting my head on his chest. "Hikari. You are my light."
Why did my heart beat faster for a split second?
Four Years Later
"Come on, Jason! Keep it up!" I encouraged merrily, sitting atop the rock that rested on his back while he did push-ups.
"Easier said than done!" He replied back, grunting due to his efforts. I sighed, remembering how quickly Jason progressed through my lessons. It didn't matter how hard I designed them to be, he always pulled through them and smiled, asking for the next assignment. I'm scared. He has already perfected everything I could teach him, and now is the moment to say goodbye.
"A hundred!" Jason shouted, bringing me out of my stupor in time to jump off the rock and land on the ground, a smile grazing my muzzle as I saw his panting form spread out, completely defenseless, yet trusting me to protect him.
"Good!" I said, incredibly proud of him and his willpower. "Thirty more than the last time we tried!"
"That's because you've worked me to the ground this year." He told me in between his tired gasps for air. There's nothing else I can teach him...
"Jason..."Time to go our separate ways, but there's something I must know."What will you do once I have nothing more to teach you?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'll become a Pokémon Ranger!" He answered cheerfully, as always.
"The truth is... I don't have anything more to teach you." I confessed, feeling my chest tightening as I struggled to tell him the truth; he deserved it. "You've mastered the Aura Vision and are as proficient in combat as a Lucario. You can even use aura to increase your efficiency. There's no human like you."
"Woah, really?! Thanks Hikari! It's all thanks to you!" He replied, his aura radiating that warmth I'll miss the most.
"Well, then this is it. Goodbye" I choked that out of my mind through sheer effort.
"What?"He asked. "Why?" Doesn't he realize it?
"I've taught you everything you need to know to be a Pokémon Ranger and an Aura Master." I replied, making an even harder effort to keep talking without collapsing out of sadness "Before you needed me to see, but now you can do it on your own. You don't need me anymore."
"What are you talking about?" He said that in a voice so low that even my canine ears had to struggle to hear it. "How can you think about yourself like that? You are not my Arceus damn flashlight!"
"But-" I tried to explain my reasons, but he beat me to the punch.
"But nothing!" He yelled at me, something that he has never done before. "You're right: I kept you with me because you made me see! But that was before!"
"Then what now?!" I yelled at him, not understanding anything.
"Now I want you with me because of you!" He called out to the four winds, "You're my best friend, my anchor, my confident! You know me like no-one else does! I've trusted you with my life for four years now! And if I had to choose, I would trust the rest of it to you!"
"..." I couldn't answer: it was impossible for me to do so. He wanted me with him, not because of the benefits, but because he wanted me and just me. I smiled, feeling a grin about to split my muzzle in half as my heart filled with joy. I walked to him, feeling a warm sensation course through my body as I started to grow suddenly, and when I was a foot shorter than him it stopped, and I hugged him.
"Jason..." I told him, "...Thank you... for everything you said."
"You... are different..." He replied. I felt him start to trace my body with his fingers, the nimble and soft touch on my skin feeling quite ticklish; at least until he felt my legs and tail, followed by my grown bust. I had to literally bite back a moan the moment I felt him tracing my chest and chest-spike "So, this is your evolution, a Lucario."
"Why don't you use your Aura Vision to see me?" I asked after composing myself, not understanding why he didn't use the easiest way.
"I prefer to use my touch to see things important to me, and you are no exception." He replied smiling, making me smile back, though he couldn't see it. "Now let's go: we need to finish our marathon."
"Now I'll really work you to the bone." I told him giggling for no reason at all.
"And I wouldn't like it any other way."
Why did I feel so happy at his words?
Six Years Later
"Alright, I'm going out Hikari. Food is on the oven, so you just need to heat it up." Jason told me as I stood in the doorway of his room, seeing him get garbed in his Pokémon Ranger setup. I smiled fondly at him, knowing what's on his mind without needing to read his aura after all our time living under the same roof. I looked him over, nodding my approval of him to myself. His black cargo pants, coupled with his sleeveless shirt, brown fingerless gloves, grey utility belt, black ankle-length scarf and red Ranger jacket complimented his well-toned figure nicely. Add to it the thin, opaque white sunglasses that Lunick gave to him when he made Top Ranger and, even though blind, he gives off an aura of confidence and experience. Lunick said that a character from an anime series wore the same kind of glasses; Kaname Tousen I think he said.
"Will you tell her?" I asked to make sure he's confident enough to do this.
"Yeah..."He answered, "I'll tell her today; no more delays."
"Good luck." I hugged him and watched as he put on his trekking shoes and took his walking stick. He walked out of the house and I sighed, walking back to Jason's room to meditate. There's something that has been nagging me since I met Alice, and I don't get it. She's a nice girl and all; even her aura is almost as pure as Jason's!
"What the Distortion World is wrong with me?" I said to myself before sitting cross-legged and starting to meditate. I started with remembering when I met her. I felt strange, almost as if I was afraid that she would take Jason away from me forever. She wouldn't do that, I just know it. Well, I'll focus on Jason: I noticed that his aura got the pink hue of infatuation when she was here with us, and... that's when I started to get a strange feeling...
What does this mean?
I heard a hard bang from the front door that broke my focus, and after sending out an Aura Sonar I realized it was Jason, but his usually white aura was shrouded in a deep purple hue of sadness. I walked to the living room to see Jason walking towards me, head down, drenched to the bone. When did it start to rain?
"...ed..." I heard him mumble something unintelligible, so I walked closer and helped him out of his jacket.
"What did you say?" I asked him softly.
"She's getting married..." He replied. I didn't understand, so I tilted his head upward to me and I gasped as I saw the tears flowing like a river out of his eyes. "Alice is getting married to someone else." He sobbed before dropping down on me, making me worried as I held him in this moment of need. Then I felt like going to Alice and claw her eyes out for doing this to Jason, even though she didn't know it. But... I'm also happy...
Somewhere in the back of my mind I had the guilty pleasure that Jason couldn't be with Alice... because he can be with me... WHAT?! What the...?! I... I can't feel this way about him! We're friends! We're partners! I can't harbor this sort of attraction for him! I... I want to...
I'm... in love with him...
Present
"Hikari!" I heard Jason calling "We've got a mission!"
"Going right away!" I called back before turning to you "I'm sorry, but we'll have to do this later." And then I ran out of the house just behind Jason.
Your POV
Without much commotion, the duo left the house and entrusted me with it; only in Fiore, perhaps. Now that they are away, I carelessly scanned the room, spotting a white blanket thrown quite carelessly over a desk and the object on it. Curious, I walked over and after a short internal debate, threw the blanket off. A Braille typewriter lay underneath, and beside the typewriter were a book and a stack of paper. Upon closer inspection, those were Hikari's and Jason's diary, respectively. Naturally, I ignored the apparent risks and consequences and decided to fill myself in on the rest of the story. It was not a difficulty job to piece both sides of the story together; their minds seemed so alike.
Jason didn't remember falling on Hikari's arms, he just knew that he aura-punched open the door before starting to cry his heart out now that he was in his house. But he did remember as Hikari brought him to his room, stripping him off his clothes the whole way to the bathroom. He also remembered feeling the hot water on his skin and Hikari washing his back before he himself took control of his bath, letting the Lucario walk out to look for a towel. He waited until he felt Hikari's presence in the room, closing the water taps and taking the cloth his best friend offered him to dry off.
"So..."He heard her tentatively asking. "...what will you do now?"
"...I'll request a one month rebase to Wintown." He answered after some consideration, "I'll take the time to cope with this before coming back to help prepare Alice's wedding."
"Are you sure you can do that?" She asked, worry dripping off each syllable. Jason smiled despite the sadness, thankful that he has someone like Hikari in his life.
"Yeah, I am." He replied. "Besides, I have you with me; that'll help a lot." He didn't realize that Hikari's heart beat faster at his words, the Aura Pokémon smiling softly.
"I'll prepare the suitcase then." Hikari padded out of the room and opened the closet, taking said object and starting to fill it with Jason's clothes. While she was preparing their gear, Jason put on his sleeping wear. He walked over to the wristband that he left over the table, which he planned to give to Alice. He traced his fingers over the object, feeling the soft texture that it is made of before putting it in a side pocket of his backpack, Hikari adding the last remaining clothes to the suitcase before closing it. Jason laid on his bed, Hikari walking to the smaller bed next to it.
"Hikari, wait." Jason told her, the Lucario stopping to turn towards her recently discovered love interest. "I... really don't want to sleep alone tonight. So I was wondering... could we sleep like the day we met?" Hikari made a double take, one to calm her speeding heart and the other to compose herself before answering.
"Sure, I would love to." She cursed herself in her mind for sounding quite giddy. She walked to Jason's bed, her heart threatening to burst out of her chest, and then she laid down next to him, turning so her back was to him. However, she couldn't suppress the yelp that came out of her muzzle when Jason wrapped one of his arms around her and brought her closer, wrapping the other one to make sure she stays spooning with him. Hikari smiled, feeling that in Jason's arms there's nothing that can touch her; she allowed herself fantasies about the both of them as she drifted off to sleep.
"Thanks, Hikari." He said before falling asleep. "You're the light in my heart."
Two Weeks Later
"Well done Hikari." Jason said as they finished their training for the day. Getting the transfer to Wintown was actually quite easy, and when Joel asked why Jason just told him. "Personal matters" and the captain left him; he wasn't the first one to do that to cope or do some soul searching. As time progressed Jason noticed that he didn't hurt as badly as he thought, and then he discovered that what he felt for Alice is brotherly love. He thought he loved her because he convinced himself that he did; what a wakeup call.
"Thanks Jason." Hikari replied, doing her hardest to ignore the increasing burning in her loins. Just a week later after they arrived at Wintown, Hikari's heat cycle decided to butt in. Years of experience should have helped her with that, however, during that time she didn't have a love interest or was willing to find a mate. Now instead, she had to use all her self-control just to reduce her body to a slight twitch every now and again, even though her instincts ordered her to rip Jason's clothes off and ride him like there's no tomorrow.
"Let's take a break." Jason suggested. Hikari nodded and the two set to walk back to the base, but as Jason laid a hand on a tree bark he felt an almost unnoticeable change in the temperature. "Hikari, I think we've hit jackpot. Follow me." Jason changed his route and walked further away from the base and into a less travelled forest, using his Aura Vision and keen senses to travel through it with ease. As he felt the heat growing he noticed that he smelled wet ground.
"Jason, it's a hot spring." Hikari said surprised at seeing the body of hot water in the middle of a cold landscape. "How the Distortion World is there a hot spring in a place like this?"
"Hotsprings are made when an underground heat source finds a way to escape to the surface, just under a place where water is available. They are usually located at the base of volcanos or close to them, and with a river supplying water. But here and there are the odd ones that pop up on cold locations, using the snow, both from the ground and the falling one, as their water supply." He hummed a little before starting to strip off, starting with his scarf. "I don't know about you, but I'm quite tired and I would love a hot bath to soothe my aching muscles. What about you?"
"Well, I think a bath is quite tempting right now." Hikari answered while unconsciously licking her lips the moment Jason took off his muscle shirt.
"Well, then take a bath with me." Jason told her as he let his pants drop down and then removed his boxers. Hikari was tempted to blast the bath and simply mate with Jason, but she knew that doing such things while Jason is still coping with the fact that the love he felt was just a crush is a recipe for trouble, and the last thing she wanted was to push him away because she made a mistake. Removing the natural shorts that her species wear, Hikari put a leg slowly into the water, releasing a sigh at the wondrous sensation the water was giving her, before entering completely and descending until the water was up to her neck. Unfortunately, for her at least, the water also made her body more sensitive, making her feel like the heat between her legs had tripled in intensity. She tried to hold herself together, to not jump onto Jason, but every time she told herself that she shouldn't, a part of her showed her a memory saying the opposite.
" __He's my friend..."
_ _
They were running across the forest, chasing a rampaging Ryhorn. They managed to subdue it, but a rock was about to fall on top of Jason if not for Hikari destroying it to smithereens with an Aura Sphere.
_ _
"Thanks, Hikari." Jason told her. "I can always count on you. There's no one more important to me."
_ _
" __He wouldn't do it..."
_ _
The mission was a mess, and it ended up with Hikari dangling over a ravine by just an arm, her other one dislocated from a hit. She felt her grip giving away, and closed her eyes while wishing to see Jason smile one more time. She lost her grip and started to fall, but then a shout pierced the air
_ _
"HIKARI!" out of nowhere, Jason jumped and tackled her in the air, directing them both to the side of the ravine and thrusting his arm inside it. The sudden lurch made a crack resonate in the ravine, Jason grunting in pain.
_ _
"Jason, your arm..." Hikari told him.
"It doesn't matter." He replied before placing his feet in the wall and using his Aura to jump and land in a cave on the other side. He gently put Hikari down against one of the walls before sitting next to her.
_ _
"Why did you do it?" Hikari asked "You could have died."
_ _
"I did it because if I lost everything I know you would still be by my side." He answered before putting his arm in its place, grunting again. "Besides, even if you left I still would have jumped after you. I would have jumped a ravine tenfold wider and a hundredfold deeper if necessary to save you. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you."
_ _
" __He doesn't love me..."
_ _
"Hikari, you're my light."
_ _
"I want you with me because of you! You're my best friend, my anchor, my confident! You know me like no-one else does! I've trusted you with my life for four years now! And if I had to choose, I would trust the rest of it to you!"
_ _
"Besides, I have you with me; that'll help a lot"
_ _
"Thanks, Hikari. You're the light in my heart."
_ _
The moment those words came back to her, Hikari knew that she couldn't hold it anymore. She slid closer to Jason, brushing her side against him, and running her left paw across his back. Jason sighed, giving her more encouragement to go forward. But Jason's mind was elsewhere. He was thinking about how he wasted so many years of his life pursuing a girl that he didn't truly love. He felt Hikari leaning against him, and he let her, because this wasn't the first time they took a bath together. He felt her paw running across his back, making him sigh in pleasure at feeling his muscles loosening. His head was tilting to the side, almost falling asleep, when he felt Hikari sit on his lap. He turned to ask her what she was doing, but he froze up the moment she leant closer and pressed her muzzle against his lips. He tried to process what was happening, why Hikari was kissing him, and, more to his growing shock, why he was liking it. He tried to tell himself that it's wrong, even bringing his arms up to push her away, but neither his body nor his mind would let him. He felt her grinding against his manhood, feeling her lower lips caressing him, and he couldn't help but moan against her muzzle.
Hikari took the chance to dart her tongue inside his mouth, feeling around and prodding his own to her. She didn't think that feeling this was possible, this heat, this passion, this LOVE she was feeling right now for the man below her. Just when she was snaking her right paw down his torso, she felt his arms, which had grabbed her shoulders, push her away from him, Jason escaping from her grip and jumping out of the hot spring before standing to face her. Fear gripped her heart when she saw the seriousness on his face, a seriousness that she had seen only a handful of times and in the most extremes situations. She started to berate herself, her mind saying that she shouldn't have pursued her feelings, because now they pushed away the one she loves.
"Come here, Hikari." His voice was a sheet of firmness that only reinforced Hikari's feelings about her mistake, the Lucario stepping out of the water to await the beating that would surely come for her molesting. "Next to me." She stepped towards him, standing by his side but facing to the opposite side of him with her head down. She flinched when she felt his hand on her shoulder turn her around to make her face forward. She was about to ask what would be her punishment when she felt him trying to link his Aura to hers, and she, confused, accepted the link, the two Auras intertwining around each other like a knot.
Then she gasped when he stood on one leg while making a T with his arms, her fear giving away to elation as she mimicked him in a mirror move, knowing what would come next: the Lucario Aura Bonding Dance. They two evoked a pair of Aura Spheres next to their hands, and then started the dance with low kicks away from each other while their corresponding hand sent a low chop in that same direction, following by a high chop with their other hand as the stepped further away while turning half-way, and then closing their hands/paws in fists before repeating the move with the other hand. They then twirled in a half-circle with their back leg while stretching one leg and bending the other, sending the first of the corresponding leg down in the opposite direction, and then twirling over their bent leg while stretching the other to the back, sending a front fist with the same hand as before in the same direction, the other resting just below the armpit.
As they danced, the Aura Spheres moved like flowing snakes, blue and white twirling around in the circular dance as tendrils started to connect them to the others. They then pivoted on their back leg while stretching their arms to the front and to the back in an open palm double thrust, taking another step forward with their back leg while their back hand came to the front in a high palm thrust, the other hand below the attacking arm's armpit. They repeated the first move in a sweeping low kick and low chop with their back leg and non-attacking arm before doing a last full twirl while stepping closer to each other, throwing a double side fists attack that connected them. The moment their fists smashed together, so did the Aura Spheres, their tendrils wrapping around each other so tightly you couldn't almost see the original colour. Jason and Hikari felt their Auras bonding, connecting them to a level few others could hope to achieve. Jason felt Hikari's happiness, her love for him, her lust for him, and above all, that feeling of belonging that she had ached for all her life unknowingly. As for Hikari, she felt Jason's understading, his will to do everything for her, the acceptance of her feelings, and the love he had desired for so long in the one he least expected, yet knew he couldn't either doubt or deny. The stood back again naturally, facing each other as their Auras settled around them.
"Jason..." the Ranger put a finger on her muzzle, cutting her off before taking one of her paws.
"Don't talk, Hikari." He told her softly as he led her back to the hot spring. "Just let yourself go. You deserve it. You need it. WE need it." Once at waist level, Jason hugged Hikari tightly to him while kissing her again, the Lucario hugging him back while both tongues met in a frenzy dance of lust and passion, of love and understanding. Of two hearts finally seeing the light.
Jason caressed her back while pressing her tightly to him, not feeling her chest spike due to the C-cup bust of the Pokémon in his arms. He caressed her sides softly, running his hands up and down before firmly grabbing her rear, making Hikari moan as she rubbed herself against him, the Ranger caressing her buttocks in circular motions while the Lucario started to feel his muscles, all of them created by the rigorous training he underwent under her tutelage. She felt the bursting power contained in them, the normally pacifist blind man capable of breaking concrete with his bare hands if angered. All that power encased in this man, who was holding and touching her with a passion that broke all argument in who she belongs to. She snaked a paw over his chest, feeling the hard pectorals capable of resisting a charging Tauros, the abs so firmly marked they felt like little square stones, eight of them, and the waist that could easily carry a Miltank on his back without problem. Then she grasped his member, the human growling deep in his throat with an animalistic vibrato that sent shivers across her body, feeling her loins heating even more. He in response brought a hand forward and roughly grasped one of her breast, the Lucario breaking the lip-lock to moan out before starting to lick the human's neck while he fondled her breasts. He knelt down before her, licking her torso, snaking his tongue over her fur covered breasts and even sucking a little on her sensitive spike, making Hikari howl in pleasure as her Aura flared around her. He worshipped her body, not leaving anywhere untouched as he caressed her legs, licked her breast, fondled her butt and massaged her sides. Almost nowhere untouched, as he seemed to refuse to touch the place where she wanted him the most. He bit her left nipple, making her yelp in a mixture of pain and pleasure that sent her sensitive brain in overdrive as she massaged his scalp and shoulders, pressing herself to him in a silent plea to touch her sacred spot as she lost the mindpower needed to speak.
Jason finally decided to indulge her as he brought a hand and swiftly inserted three fingers inside of her, Hikari shouting at the spike in pleasure and then uncontrollably moaning as he thrusted his fingers inside of her rapidly, not giving her any room to breathe as with his other hand he started to caress one breast while licking, biting and sucking on the other one. Suddenly he pulled out his fingers, and Hikari's coming protest died in her throat when Jason pushed her back against one of the rocks in the hot spring and took her waist in his arms, bringing her caninehood up to his lips before he thrusted his tongue inside of her as far as it would go, licking all over and drinking the sweet nectar coming out of her. Hikari was made a moaning, howling and yelping mess as she felt the warm intrusion in her womanhood, the appendage sending electric sensations across her body that made her spasm and tense, relax and jolt at random intervals while she thrashed around, feeling her body getting out of control. He pulled out his tongue before attacking her clit, Hikari releasing another yelp as he sucked and pulled her sensitive nub with his tongue before pushing it down and biting on it, carefully grinding it with his teeth as to not hurt her. Her body suddenly locked up, a thousand thunders of electricity, waves of pleasure and auroras of colours attacking her body as she howled in a seemingly never ending orgasm, Jason licking her overflowing nectar swiftly as to not lose anything of this piece of Hall of Origin.
Hikari's body went limp as she gasped and panted, trying to come down back to her body from the high that Jason had sent her to. The Ranger lowered her body and dragged her back down to the water to protect her from the cold that she hadn't felt due to her own body heat getting so high. Her breathing levelled, allowing Hikari control back over her body as she hugged Jason. Her mind, now back in full working order, tried to think up a way to repay the Ranger for his generous actions. She didn't know much about human mating rituals, Jason being the one who studied about her species to understand her better. But, as Jason is blind, he didn't buy one of those hypnotizing boxes the humans call T.V., thus not giving her a chance to know about the humans' sexual tendencies. Not knowing what else to do, she turned her back on him, feeling his hard manhood pressing against her rear before she started to walk away from him with a sway on her hips that had the Aura Vision in Jason filling with a deep red cloud of lust that had him advancing towards the Lucario, feeling the primal side of him, more attuned thanks to his connection with the Aura, awakening and ordering him to claim his mate. He saw her silhouette bending down, placing her paws on the smooth rock and shaking her buttocks at him, Jason placing his hands on her plump rear while he leant forward, smelling her neck like a hunter smells a prey.
"Mine..." He growled, taking his member in one of his hands and rubbing himself against her caninehood. "Mine..." He pushed his hips forward, meeting a slight resistance that easily gave away under his insistence, a deep rumbling coming out from his chest as Hikari gasped, feeling the intrusion in her and her wet, pulsing walls taking an eager hold on the throbbing member. "Mine...!" He met her fleshy, thin wall that marked her as a virgin. "Mine!" He thrust forward in a jolt, Hikari moaning as her training had made her hymen so soft that breaking it didn't generate any pain. "Mine!" He suddenly started to thrust in her with a vigorous passion that had her rocking back and forth with every powerful piston-like penetration, moans escaping her muzzle as she felt his seven inches and half filling her up with each thrust and jabbing her womb. "MINE!" Throwing any restraints left to the flying fuck, Jason went all out, grabbing Hikari by her right Aura Sensors with his right hand while roughly fondling her breast with his left one, biting down on her neck as she moaned in pleasure, which only heightened when she felt him start to channel Aura through his body. His thrust became quicker, harder and deeper, his natural animalistic Aura enhancing and covering a good mile around them, warning any Pokémon nearby that to interrupt them wasn't in its health's best interest. Hikari's moans gave room to yelps and squeaks of pleasure when a particularly hard thrust came every now and again, her walls clamping down on him like a vice while his throbbing member sent pulsations across her femalehood that ran over her walls and sent a jolt of electricity among the mind numbing sensation his animalistic dominance brought on her. He released her Aura Sensors from his right hand to occupy it with fondling her chest and giving him a better leverage to thrust into her. Then he pulled her to him as he let himself fall back into the water, getting into a reverse cowgirl position. He thrusted up and slapped her right cheek in a silent command that she obeyed, her body having submitted to the Alpha ravaging her body. And yet, amongst all the lust, all the passion, all the frenzy, she heard him whisper in her ear as clear as day.
"You are mine, Hikari. I lost so many years of my life looking for an unrequited love, not noticing you. Forgive me, I love you. I love you, because you are The Light In My Heart."
An Aura explosion that would be felt for miles was released from the mating duo, their love reaching a zenith where anyone could feel the love they share for each other around the whole region. The previous lust driven pace became a soft dance of love, of two beings relishing in their connections between each other. Jason hugged Hikari to himself, caressing her body with a softness someone of his strength shouldn't possess, showing her a side that no one saw of him. She turned around before hugging Jason to her chest, lowering her muzzle until they locked lips again. No tongue, just a simple yet meaningful connection to them both. A promise of commitment. A promise of belonging. A promise of love. The blissful moment escalated in a love driven zenith of pleasure, of giving the last of themselves to each other. Jason caressed her back from the base of her spine to up her shoulders and around before coming back down, Hikari massaging his shoulders as she rotated her hips around, feeling Jason's member move within her and massage places she didn't even dream existed, each wave of pleasure coming stronger than the last as her moans died down on Jason's throat, his own grunts and growls of pleasure adding to the mix. They broke their lip-lock before he placed his hands on her waist and she on his shoulders, Aura swirling around them and she came up and down faster, harder and deeper, feeling Jason's manhood not just jab her womb, but actually punching it with his head while each thrust brought about a harder one, the desire of total sharing between them at the forefront of their minds. Jason got a firm grip on her before changing his feet and legs position to thrust even harder, his hands going up to grasp one of her breasts, pinching, twisting and pulling on it while the other pulled the Lucario down, biring again on her neck, the female releasing a yelp while she slammed harder on him, trying to get both of them off. Jason released her and and grasped both her breasts, fondling them roughly before one of his hands released her breasts and went down to pinch her clit, triggering Hikari's orgasm, her caninehood clamping down on him with an iron grip that would have hurt a lesser man, her juices spilling out while her walls pulsed, massaging Jason's member with such demand that his cum spurted out at the last thrust, entering directly into the Lucario's waiting womb. Their eyes widened before another Aura explosion rocked the region, two howls of pleasure and love piercing he air and carrying over like a message into the wind. When the Auras settled down, only two satisfied beings laid in the hot spring, their Aura explosions having melted the snow in the clearing and surprisingly making flowers bloom in there, their Auras charged with so much love they could bring life out of nothing. As they laid back down against the rocks on the sides, still joined at the hip, they shared a last soft kiss before resting down. They spent their time just lying there, relishing in the love they feel for one another before Jason broke the silence.
"Believe it, I would like nothing more than just stay lying here with you." The Ranger told her "However, if we stay any longer we'll get waterlogged and I'm pretty sure Elita is worried sick about us." The two chuckled, but neither made a move to get up. "Five more minutes and then we'll go."
Two Weeks Later
The preparations for the wedding were taking longer than Timothy would have expected, and with so many others things left to do he was worried that he wouldn't get enough time to finish everything for the set date. The poor man was sitting with his head in his hands, stress clearly palpable around him, before he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up, and he looked like Arceus had just sent him an angel to him, in the form of Jason Lytwyn, currently standing before him with Hikari at his side with a smile on his face.
"Sorry for making you wait, but I was tending to some personal matters." The Ranger told him. "Now, why don't you start looking for wedding gifts and a tuxedo while I take care of the decor?"
"You sure?" Tim asked worriedly. "I mean, you are blind and all."
"That's what Hikari is for." Jason replied "While I know about Alice's favourite colours, Hikari can make sure that they don't clash against each other in the decor." He patted the groom on the back in a comforting matter. "Now move along and leave the rest to me." Tim hesitated for a second before nodding.
"Thanks." He said before giving the clipboard to Jason and running to make some calls to rent a tux. Jason calmly threw the clipboard over his back before standing in front of the working crew.
"Alright, take all of this down!" He called. "We're starting from scratch!" Many groans were heard.
Wedding Day
"Never, ever, doubt Jason Lytwyn." Tim thought as he looked around, the blind man standing at his side with a cocky grin. Leaving the decorations to Jason and Hikari had been a blessing in disguise, as they had at first taken down everything he did (and he admitted to having shouted at the blind man while he took it in stride) before starting anew better, leaving everything breath-taking. The way the two coordinated the preparations (when he got there unannounced during working hours) was simply superb, Jason walking around while giving instructions and in some cases showing how to do one or two things, while Hikari inspected everything and talked with Jason, who relied her suggestions with a wedding organizer, who had agreed at least nine out of ten times with the pair and their ideas. As the wedding bells rang, and Alice stepped out of the tent, Timothy couldn't have thought about anyone better to be his best man. When the wedding vows were exchanged, Jason stepped forward and offered the rings he picked for the two of them, and Alice couldn't help but tear up when seeing the little silver bands with an inscription in them: Never stop pursuing your dreams. The same words Timothy told her in the culinary school where they both learnt so much.
"This wouldn't have been possible without the assistance of Jason and Hikari." Tim said when people asked him to give some words. "I admit that I was a complete, utter mess while making the preparations, and like an angel Jason came back and took charge of everything. At first I was sceptical, and I even shouted at him when he ordered to take down everything I had gotten ready by them, but then they showed themselves and let this place as it is right now. A cheer for Jason!" Claps ran around while people asked Jason to also go up and say some words. The blind man stepped up onto the stage and faced the crowd.
"Well, now that I'm here, I better come clean with some things that made this possible." He told them. "I met Alice at a school for disabled people, and we used to play and laugh, to talk and discuss. I even said something that warranted me an Alice-style bonk to the head. You really don't know how hard that girl hits unless you are a victim." The guests laughed while Alice shouted that he would get another one. "One day, Team Magma and Team Aqua came to our peaceful region in search of rare Pokémon. One thing lead to another and five years later I was wearing my new Ranger uniform. I took mission after mission, climbing higher and higher until I finally made Top Ranger. The thing is... I loved Alice." *Gasp* "Or at least, I thought I loved her at the time. Now, I'm glad Tim married her, and even that he met her, even though when we met I was pretty tempted to crush the bones in his hand to dust." The groom laughed nervously, knowing that the Ranger has enough physical strength without his Aura to back up his threat. "At first I felt betrayal and contempt, but then I decided to take a month long transfer to the base of Wintown. With my mind clear, I made a little of soul searching, and discovered that the love that I feel for Alice is the family based one, but I had convinced myself that that was not the case during a long time, hence why it hurt hearing she's getting married. I discovered many things while in there, but my most important one? It was finding the one that I truly love and loves me back. She's hearing me right now, and I don't need to name her so she knows I'm talking about her. She was my light in the darkness that I was born into, and now I can't imagine life without her. She's the light that will keep me going forward. She... is The Light In My Heart. Thank you, everyone." Jason ended as he stepped down amidst the applause, walking to the newlyweds. "Sorry, got to go." They nodded. "Hikari, come on. We are leaving." As the Lucario stepped up next to the Ranger, Alice and Tim felt a pulse, weaker, but not unlike the one that rocked Fiore two weeks ago, and as they looked how the pair walked away, they couldn't help but to think about the implications...
Danny: *Waiting outside a room holding a rapier in his right hand*
Romeo: YOU FUCKING BASTARDS!
Xellan&Slayer: *Stumble out of the room, scrambling up to their feet and running like Kyurem is on their asses*
Danny: Told you so. *Offers the handle of the rapier to the side, a blur running past him while taking the weapon and shouting a quick thanks* That will teach them. Well readers, if you can't picture the Lucario Aura Bonding Dance, it's the Dancing Dragon that appears in the Avatar: The Last Airbender show. Romeo was looking at some series that he liked and decided to pick this and add it to the story. Well, see you next time. *Xellan and Slayer run past him with an enraged Romeo after them throwing sword slashes and thrusts that they could barely dodge*
Xellan: Danny! Help us, man!
Slayer: Yeah! This guy is going to kill us!
Danny: You reap what you sow. Bye, readers.
