Shin was pretty excited for a chance to prove himself to his mentor Cantos and finally evolve into a Ninetales, but things too a turn for the terrifying when it was revealed the fire stone he sought was in the Water Dojo, where the dojo boss had a reputation for eating those he defeated in combat.

Fortunately he wasn't alone, and with his new teammates Auron and Light, he almost felt like they'd be able to get through the dojo and find the fire stone! But was evolving really worth getting devoured over?

Managed to finally get this written, hopefully I managed to capture everyone's characters well enough. This has been fun, I'd like to try it again sometime.

Light the Umbreon,

Auron the Lucario, Shin the Vulpix and Cantos the Ninetales belong to their players.

Water Dojo: Session #2

The Vulpix panted as he struggled to keep up with the Ninetales. The taller fox moved with grace and elegance, and was able to take much longer strides with his long legs than Shin could handle with his smaller ones. He glanced up as he saw Marowak's Dojo ahead of them, "Oh, thank Arceus. We're here."

"Quite. I do hope you show more stamina when we're inside," Cantos replied, swaying his tails gently as the breeze caught them. He turned his attention down to the Vulpix, "Today is a big day for you, Shin. I hope you realize that."

"Of course I do," Shin replied, adjusting his green neckerchief and puffing out his chest in an attempt to impress the silver kitsune, "Today is the day I'm going to finally evolve and become a Ninetales, just like you."

"Indeed," Cantos agreed with a little nod, though he seemed unmoved by the smaller six-tailed pokemon's attempts to sway his favour. He stepped through the door, "I have hidden the fire stone you need to evolve deep within one of the dojo's rooms. Find it, and you will have earned your evolution." he looked down at him, "Fail... and you will have cost me a great deal of P."

"I won't let you down, Cantos." Shin replied, gulping as he looked up at the taller pokemon. He hoped it wouldn't be -too- hard, he wasn't exactly a battle pokemon. He took a deep breath and shook his tails nervously, "S-so, which dojo are we heading into? Grass? Ice?"

"Water." Cantos stated firmly before making his way towards the Marowak to pay their entry fees, "You should be glad I didn't choose dragon. It would have posed much more of a challenge."

"But going into the Water Dojo IS a challenge! I'm a fire-type!" The Vulpix begged, grabbing onto the Ninetales legs. Cantos continued forward, dragging the fox along the floor as he walked unerred by his attempts at stopping him, "Please, Cantos. I'll go through any other dojo. I-I'll stay a Vulpix for another year if I have to."

"This is no time to be a baby, Shin. I chose this dojo for a reason." The Ninetales replied, placing the coins in the Marowak's hand to seal their fate. They had paid their entry and they were going into the dojo, whether the Vulpix wanted to or not. "I suggest you consider your surroundings, I would not put you up to a task I did not think you could accomplish."

The Vulpix tucked his ears back and pouted... but Cantos didn't lead him on into the dojo. That had to be a hint, a clue that there was something in this room that would help him find the fire stone, or at least get through the dojo with his tails intact. He began to look around the room before noticing two pokemon in the corner, a Lucario and an Umbreon.

"H-hey, hey! You guys!" Shin gasped as he ran over to the two, his tails wagging in a flurry as he bounced on his paws, "Come with us into the Water Dojo. We'd have a full team if you joined!"

"We would, but Light doesn't have the P for it." Auron replied, thumbing over at the green-ringed Umbreon, who was busily sulking over a half-eaten apple. The Lucario shrugged his shoulders, "He spent his entry fee on the vending machine. I don't have enough on me to cover his fee."

"Why would they put it so close to the door? Don't they know some pokemon only have enough money for one?" The Umbreon lamented before flopping down on his chair and pouting, "I really wanted to go in too... stupid Big Apple."

"I could pay your entry fee!" Shin blurted out, only to pause as he realized he hadn't even counted how much he had on him. He reached back into his adventurer's bag and reached around, beginning to count them one at a time, "...Fourty-eight, Fourty-nine..." he glanced over to the Marowak guarding the door, "Erf, I'm one short."

"I'll help. I wouldn't want to leave my buddy waiting out here by himself." The Lucario offered, running his hand over the Umbreon's ears before getting to his feet and stretching. He took out the last golden coin that Shin needed before preparing to follow after the Vulpix, "I'm Auron."

"I'm Shin, and this is Cantos." The Vulpix replied with a little bow before gesturing his paw over to the Ninetales, "He's my mentor, and today he's going to finally let me evolve into a Ninetales."

"Indeed... I'm glad to see you've gotten over your shyness, Shin. It's often wise to get the help of other pokemon when facing a battle you cannot handle yourself." Cantos informed him before turning his attention to the two pokemon, "And it appears you've chosen worthy teammates."

"Just hang back and let me do the work, alright? I could clear that dungeon myself." Auron smirked as he rolled his shoulder, "And if I'm joining, I'd better be leading too. Fire-types won't last long in a Water Dojo."

"What? Come on, I want to lead." Light spoke up, making his way over to the two as he glanced from one pokemon to the next, "I never get to lead!"

"You're too short to lead. I'd probably end up stepping on you." Auron teased him, raising one of his footpaws and wiggling his toes at the Umbreon, "Wouldn't want you to get hurt right off the bat."

"I'm afraid you're both going to be in for a disappointment, because Shin is going to be leading." Cantos said, leaving all three of them looking over at the timid Vulpix in unison, "After all, he has a specific goal to complete. Beyond defeating the boss, of course."

"Of course." Shin grinned nervously, he hadn't even planned on how he would fight the boss. But it seemed like the Ninetales had chosen for him, he paid up Light's entry fee and the group descended into the shadows of the water dojo door, and the clay set of jaws closed behind them with a thud.

* * *

The dojo was far bigger than the Vulpix had been expecting, and of course there was water everywhere. On the walls, beneath the platforms as they floated on it... some had even gotten onto the platforms in wet pawprints. Shin breathed in deeply as he took a few nervous steps, "Water water, everywhere..."

"And all of it harmless, until used against you." Cantos reminded him with a little smile, trying to calm the nervous Vulpix down as he looked over the labyrinth of corridors and dead-ends before them, "Remember Shin, you are leading this group. Trust your instincts and you'll find your prize."

"Right... let's go, guys." Shin grinned before glancing over his shoulder... only to find the two pokemon he had just recruited seemed to have vanished from his party, "...Guys?" his ears drooped and his pupils shrinked, "Please tell me our only defense didn't just leave us."

"That would be why." Cantos pointed back to the warp trap with his paw, Shin had to squint his eyes just to notice it out from the rest of the platform, "They'll be somewhere in the room. We just need to find them."

"Great." Shin muttered, folding his ears back and tucking his tails between his legs as he looked to the path ahead. He could see the water types moving about the dojo, scouting for foolish adventurers. He cringed and forced himself to take his first step into the dungeon.

...and immediately got covered in Salsa sauce as he triggered on of the 'flavour' traps the dojo boss had set up. He groaned and shook his paw in an attempt to get it off, though as it clung to his fur he just rolled his eyes and continued onwards, trying to stay positive about his situation. He could hear the Ninetales sniffing at him, and finally he felt his mentor's tongue quickly lick the arch of his tails.

"Mm... you know, it does compliment your fur." Cantos offered with a rare grin before raising his head and perking his ears, noticing all the water pokemon seemed to be charging down the corridor in the opposite direction. "I think we've found our teammates."

"Great, let's go." Shin replied, dashing ahead as he felt himself get the confidence boost he needed. All he had to do was get the team back together and then they'd be back on his mission to find the fire stone, what could possibly go wrong?

* * *

Light skidded to a halt as he found himself in an area with only one exit, and that was the corridor he had just come from. He made his way over to the edge of the floating platform and stared into the water's below. It was so clear he could see the shadows of the pokemon swimming around beneath its surface, awaiting any pokemon foolish enough to fall in.

The sound of the thundering paws brought him back to reality as he turned, seeing the mob of water-types had finally caught up to him. A large Floatzel lead the group, drooling hungrily as he stepped towards the Umbreon, "Finally! I've been waiting since the last one for this... Come to papa, Umbresnack~"

"H-heh, come on, guys. Can't you just let me go? I'm trying to find my friends." Light laughed nervously, beginning to step along the edge of the platform as the Floatzel approached him. He finally found himself on its corner, he could feel the water rocking gently beneath him.

"Oh really? I can help you with that." The Floatzel offered, grabbing the Umbreon by his scruff and holding him up to his drooling mouth, "You get in my belly, then I'll find all your friends and get them in my belly too. Fastest way to find them, if you ask me!"

"I really wish I could argue with that logic." Light smiled nervously, though he seemed accepting of his fate as the Floatzel tossed him into his mouth. The otter groaned in delight as he rolled the eeveelution about with his tongue, covering him in drool as the Umbreon squirmed back against him.

"Mmmhh, delicious~ You Umbreons always were the tastiest eeveelution~" the Floatzel murred as he sat on the platform edge, one hand resting on his stomach as he heard it growl. The other pokemon watched in some confusion, unsure of what to do. Some returned to their posts and patrols while others continued to watch with concern.

"Uh... you know only the boss is meant to eat the adventurers, right? We're just supposed to fight them." A Kingdra in the crowd spoke up, "I mean, unless they've triggered a sauce trap. Then they're free game."

"Mmm. What Typh doesn't know won't hurt him. Or me, for that matter." The Floatzel replied, his voice muffled by his meal. He tilted his head back to take his first gulp of his squirming meal, only to be sent flying across the platform by a beam of light from the water. He landed on his back with a thud and let out a groan before he lost consciousness.

Auron leaped out of the water and landed on the platform, leaving it trembling beneath his feet as he did. He glared to the remaining pokemon and brought his hands back, allowing the water-types to see the chaotic crackling of his energy as he slowly raised his hands, lifting up the Kingdra in his Psychic and tossing it off the platform.

That was enough of a warning. The pokemon fled back down the corridor and went their separate ways. The Lucario breathed out a sigh of relief before making his way over to the Floatzel and stepping forcefully on his stomach, forcing him to open his mouth enough for the Umbreon's upper body to escape, gasping for air as he did.

"I really don't get why we had to lure them all into one place like that." Light spluttered, shaking himself free of the Floatzel's drool as he climbed out of the pokemon's mouth, "Not that it wasn't fun or anything, but-"

"We gave Shin a clear dungeon for a couple of minutes. It should have been enough time for him to find his fire stone, I'd say." The Lucario grinned down at the Umbreon, "I'm just glad I got you in time, a couple more seconds and I'd have had to go in after you."

"Yeah, speaking of, why was I the bait?" Light flicked his ears back before idly pushing the Floatzel with his paws until the otter tumbled over and landed in the water with a splash, leaving the platform clear other than the Umbreon and the Lucario.

"Because I like watching you get eaten." Auron admitted with a playful grin. He glanced around briefly before licking his lips and picking up the Umbreon by the scruff of his neck, "Speaking of, I figure I've earned a victory meal. You've got a Reviver seed on you, right?"

"Duh." Light replied, sticking his tongue out and squirming about in a vague attempt at escaping. The Lucario licked his lips and opened his mouth wide to toss the Umbreon in, but as he swung him back a pokemon burst out of the waters and engulfed Light, as well as his hand in one bite. Auron yiped and quickly retreated his hand, though doing so meant letting go of the Umbreon.

The Lucario found himself staring down at the Swampert, who was now leaning casually on the edge of the platform as the Umbreon's ears poked out from his mouth. He put one chubby finger on each of them and slowly pushed them past his lips until they vanished from sight completely.

"Hey!" Auron barked, only to have the water-type hold up a finger to him as a sign to let him finish. He turned his head away and took a huge gulp, sending the squirming bulge of the Umbreon down through his thick neck until Light finally vanished behind the platform edge, as well as the Swampert's muscular chest.

"Urp... What?" Typh grunted impatiently, glaring up at the Lucario as he tapped his fingers on the platform, waiting for the Lucario to speak impatiently. "You got something to say to me, tough guy?"

"He was mine." Auron growled down at the Swampert, his aura beginning to flare up around him. He took a few steps back as the water-type climbed up onto the platform, his weight left it tilting for a moment and disturbed the Lucario's balance enough for him to have to pay attention to it.

"Oh yeah?" Typh smirked, jiggling his gut with one hand before giving it a wet slap and licking his lips. He then opened his mouth wide, allowing the Lucario to stare deep into his dark maw, "Go get him."

The Lucario shivered at the sight, but managed to keep himself from getting distracted with a quick burst of his Calm Mind move. He began to pace around the Swampert, leaving him counter-circling to make sure he was always facing his newly designated prey. Typh continued to taunt and tease him by licking his lips, "Mmm, you tasted pretty good, you know. Just because the Umbreon was my priority doesn't mean I didn't get a good slurp of you~"

"That's surprising, I've managed to avoid your traps." The Lucario told him, cracking his knuckles as he prepared himself. He wouldn't get close, that was a quick way to ending up like Light, who he could still see putting up a fight as his paws and face made bulges in the Swampert's stomach. He brought his hands together and thrusted them forward, sending out a beam of light towards the pokemon. His Flash Cannon had worked before, it would probably work again.

Typh spread out his arms and thrusted his stomach forward, allowing the Flash Cannon to hit him square in the gut as he grinned through it. "You didn't think a Steel-type move was going to be effective against me, did you?" he laughed, allowing the Lucario a moment to take in his mistake before charging over to him and pouncing forward, punching towards Auron's chest as his fist glowed.

The Lucario moved to get out of the way, but the fist seemed to curve and follow him, landing against his back and knocking him onto his front. Typh's muscles bulged with the after-effects of the power up punch as he cracked his knuckles and moved towards the Lucario. As Auron moved to get up he quickly found himself pinned under the Swampert's weight as Typh sat on his back, allowing his stomach to rest on the pokemon's head.

'Ggllrrlrrrn~' "Heh, hear that?" Typh smirked, feeling over his stomach as it growled and groaned, "Looks like that Umbreon's have a great time in there. Wouldn't want him to have all the fun, would you?"

"Rrrahh." Auron growled, pushing himself off the ground as much as he could before finding himself dropping under the Swampert's weight once more. It was no good, he couldn't get the fatass off of him. He could only await his fate, forced to curl up in the predator's gut and admit defeat... though he had been picturing it since he had first stared into the Swampert's throat.

"Hey, no shame in losing to me, I'm pretty much the strongest pokemon in Clearspring. You don't get a gut like mine by losing to pokemon, you know?" The Swampert reassured him before finally slipping himself down the Lucario. He grabbed his feet and stuffed them into his mouth, and in a single gulp he had the jackal in up to his waist.

Auron brought his hands back to charge up another attack, but before he could do anything but make them spark the Swampert pinned his arms to his sides, with another heavy gulp he had them firmly held to his sides by his throat. His tongue reached out and began to slurp over the Lucario's chest, being careful to avoid the spike as he drooled over him.

He could feel his paws slipping into the Swampert's stomach, and as his feet twitched about he could feel the Umbreon beneath them trying to push him back up. He let out a low 'CarrRrr~' as he felt the Swampert's tongue reaching up to his face, running delicately over his cheeks to take in his flavour before curling over his head to cover up his face and push him the rest of the way into his mouth.

The last thing Auron saw was the fleshy tongue before him, and the fading light of the dojo as the Swampert's jaws closed and sealed him inside. With one final gulp he was pulled the rest of the way into the water-type's bulging stomach, which he was surprised to find was already lit up with green light.

The Lucario felt something squirming beneath his rear, and he quickly lifted it up just enough to see what was beneath him. The Umbreon coughed and blushed, his green rings lighting up the stomach around them, "Oh hey, look who decided to join me."

"Oh good, you're still in one piece." The Lucario licked his lips, using his aura to light up the stomach. He had never really been one for sharing stomachs... and as he felt the Swampert flop over and begin to snore, he doubted he'd be going anywhere soon. Might as well get comfortable with a snack~

Cantos let out another blast of Extrasensory to knock back a pokemon as it came too close for comfort. He glanced down to the Vulpix beside him as he watched Shin perform the attack on another. The two foxes had guarded eachothers back for a while now, and it had paid off... pokemon laid unconscious around them and they finally had a chance to breathe.

"None of them have the fire stone, and we haven't seen it anywhere. What if it fell off the platform and into the water?" Shin whimpered, glancing over the edge of the platform and staring at his reflection in, "Plus we still have no idea where Auron or Light are."

"Well, we have a general idea." Cantos reminded him, pointing his silver paw up towards the distance. Blue smoke seemed to rise every now and then, it was lit up with the unmistakable light of aura, "It must be Auron signalling to us, what else would it be?"

"I guess we'll find out soon." Shin mumbled, feeling a little nervous about it, the clouds seemed more ominous than hopeful to the Vulpix. Cantos took the lead and led the smaller fox along behind him, though the smile was quickly wiped off his face as they reached the dead end.

There laid the Swampert, his gut bulged out and squirming as the Lucario continued to kick and punch at the walls. Typh was snoring loudly, though every now and then he would belch in his sleep, sending another cloud of aura into the air. Shin stared wide-eyed, "D-did he..?"

"Looks like it. Poor guy." Cantos cringed before looking over at Shin, "Still, he's incapacitated... and this is the dojo boss." he raised himself up, "If you defeat him, I will consider you to have passed your test and give you another fire stone."

"I'm not going anywhere near him, he'll eat me!" Shin gasped, hiding behind the Ninetales as his tails tucked between his legs, "C-couldn't we just look for the fire stone you hid? If the boss is out here, we could probably look around the boss room without having to worry."

"It won't be in there. I specifically hid it in this room." Cantos replied, his ears flicking back as he looked down at the Vulpix, "Shin, I'm not asking you to fight him. He's sleeping, probably after using 'Rest'. All you need to do is one extrasensory and you'd probably have him down for the count."

"No way. I bet Auron thought the same thing, and now he's Swampert fat." Shin whimpered, keeping himself low to the floating platform as he stared at Typh's gurgling gut as it jiggled and shook with the pokemon inside it, "He probably got Light too... this is all my fault."

"Fine. I'll just take him out and we'll go look for the fire stone together." Cantos sighed, shaking his head in disappointment at his young apprentice before making his way over the water-type. As soon as he got close enough the Swampert's eyes shot open. Cantos gasped and turned to retreat, only to find his backlegs pulled out from under him, "ACK!"

"Cantos!" Shin gasped, but he found himself too frozen in fear to run and help the silver Ninetales. Typh grabbed Cantos' cluster of tails and shoved them into his mouth all at once, slurping over them noisily and leaving the pokemon cringing and writhing as his tails were licked over.

"Ugh." Cantos shuddered at the unfamiliar feeling as his tails were clumped together and yanked into the Swampert's throat in one go, leaving him starting his journey to Typh's stomach rear-first. He blushed in embarassment over at the Vulpix, who stared right back at him in a mixture of disbelief and mild curiousity.

"I kind of told you so." Shin noted, tucking his ears back as he tried to smile through the sight before him, even getting the courage to step closer to his mentor in order to keep eye-contact as the Swampert's mouth starting to close around him, forcing him to curl up in his maw. "If you go near a sleeping predator, you're just going to end up in their belly."

"Well, I'm glad you've learned a valuable lesson today then." Cantos cringed, trying to hold the Swampert's jaws open with his paws long enough to get the last word in, "If you hurry you can still get away before he finishes me off. The fire stone can't be far."

"Actually, I've been meaning to talk to you about that..." Shin admitted, tucking his ears back. Though before he could continue his conversation the tongue pushed the Ninetales into the Swampert's gullet, and with three heavy gulps the bulge was shifted from his mouth to his throat, and finally down into his stomach.

Typh let out a lewd, Cantos-scented belch in the Vulpix's face before grinning and patting his stomach, "Heh, sorry about that. Those tails were really starting to tickle my throat. He was going one way or the other, and I'm not one for losing my lunch."

"It shows." Shin blushed, looking down at the pokemon's wide gut as his mentor's form was added to it, finding its place somewhere above the Lucarios, and judging by all the struggling and squirming they were already fighting over space. "Wow... I can't believe you just did that. Is he going to be alright?"

"Oh yeah, he'll be fine... well, probably not without a Reviver seed, but I don't let anyone digest without one." Typh replied, running his hand over his gut and kneading down any bulges that happened to poke out from his otherwise smooth, round stomach, "Speaking of, what were you going to tell him? I doubt he's going to listen when I send you down after him."

"Oh, uh." Shin cleared his throat, trying not to stare at the Swampert's stomach but finding his eyes constantly drawn to it, "I... saw the fire stone a while back, I was going to go and pick it up but..." he tucked his ears back, unable to finish his sentence.

"But you don't want to be a Ninetales yet. You're happier as a Vulpix." Typh finished it for him, letting out a little belch of aura before wiping his mouth on his arm, "Urp. Well, no need to rush yourself. If you like being a Vulpix, stay as one."

"It's just that everyone treats me like a little kid..." Shin explained, finding himself stepping closer to the pokemon as he talked. One of his paws hesistantly reached out to the Swampert's stomach, and after getting a nod of permission from him, he began to stroke it down, "I feel bad though. Cantos really wanted me to evolve today."

"Eh, I think if he did he'd have just given it to you." Typh grinned broadly down at the Vulpix, running his hands behind his ears and watching the fox murr in response, "Besides, who's the one who's still on the outside of a stomach?"

"Me." Shin blushed, leaning into the hand and wagging his tails back and forth, his eyes closing in bliss as he began to murr happily at the petting.

"And who's covered in Salsa and within easy grabbing distance?" Typh smirked down at the Vulpix. Shin stared back up at him, feeling the Salsa from his tails dripping down and splattering on the platform. He bit his lip, trying to withhold the answer for as long as he could, but the Swampert's hand on his back told him he wasn't going anywhere... not until he answered, anyway.

"M-" Shin began, only to find himself getting shoved into the Swampert's mouth. Despite all his squirming and kicking he couldn't stop the jaws from closing around him and locking him inside with the predator's curious tongue. The Vulpix yipped and blushed, trying to push the jaws back open with his paws but finding them too heavy to move.

"Mmmh, tough break, kid. Probably should've evolved when you had the chance...." Typh drooled, slurping and sucking on the small Vulpix like a piece of candy, "But hey, at least this way you're bite-sized. You should be able to fit in my stomach with the others no problem."

"Mmmph!" Shin let out a muffled cry in response, though the Swampert didn't care too much for what his food had to say. He just continued to drool and suckle on the fox until finally his stomach growled up at him, letting him know it was finally ready for dessert.

The Vulpix could only blush and hug his tails as he felt the world shift around him, the Swampert slowly tilted his head back until the Vulpix's plush rear pushed against his throat... and with a single, wet gulp he was accellerated through it and dumped onto the Ninetales.

"Oh hey, you gonna eat that?" The Lucario asked, pushing the Ninetales' tails to one side for the fourth time since he had first entered the stomach, "Cantos, get your ass out of my face, will you?"

"I can't exactly move all that much, but if it's any consolation your chest spike is jabbing into my back rather uncomfortably." Cantos grumbled before looking to Shin, pulling the smaller Vulpix to his chest in order to keep them both comfortable, "I overheard your conversation with Typh. You could have just told me you weren't ready, you know."

"I know," Shin admitted, flicking his tails briefly and blushing as he felt the Lucario starting to slurp along them and lick off the salsa, "So, where's Light anyway?"

"Auron decided to make some room, he wouldn't want the stomach to get too crowded after all." Cantos chuckled dryly, using his footpaw to push at the Lucario's face to get him to stop licking his apprentice. As the stomach began to sway around them the Ninetales looked down at the Vulpix, "So, you found the fire stone?"

"I was going to pick it up on our way out." Shin laughed nervously. As he noticed the stern expression the Ninetales was giving him he responded with another nervous chuckle. "Oh right, it was really expensive. Huh? Maybe we could come back another time and find it?"

"Sounds good to me." Typh replied, revealing he had been listening in on their conversation. He tossed four Reviver seeds into his mouth for the team and let out a long belch before any of them could answer back. The sound echoed throughout the water dojo and beyond... and Marowak opened the Water Dojo door for the next set of unfortunate adventures to enter its maw.

The End.
