Winter Class Ch. 1
#1 of Winter Class
The first chapter in a story that I am currently writing. Hopefully it doesn't suck too much XD
Hey fur friends! This is the first story I have written. Sorry if it is not good right now - I promise it will get better! The good stuff is coming up in future chapters, after all. Feedback and reviews are appreciated!
Thanks and enjoy reading!
WINTER CLASS ~CHAPTER 1~
I've REALLY got to a get a life. Seriously, everything about my current one just sucks and it drags on forever until I want to scream. For example, right now I have to go on a class trip to Alaska for three fucking weeks. What kind of school suddenly decides to go and plan that!? I attend a school in Florida - there is absolutely no reason for me and my classmates to fly hours and hours to an icy-cold, deserted, non-livable (unless you really try) place like Alaska. The only good part about going is that we all get to stay in a comfy lodge-of-sorts with little to no room for us to move around. Even so, Alaska? No.
Of course, I asked my parents if I could just skip the whole damn thing (I don't want to freeze my fur off) but of course they have to go and be --- uh --- mean and force me to go. Like I can't even control my own life. Thanks a lot.
That's what I am currently thinking as I quietly board my second flight (because apparently planes can't fly from one place to another without needing to stop someplace in-between). My fox friend Jey seems pretty excited for it, though. I don't know what he is thinking, dancing around in front of me, but whatever. He's the one being stared at.
"Hey hey, Brett! You excited to be stuck with a bunch of hot girls for a few weeks?" Jey asks me. He winks. I just coldly stare at him to basically tell him "The hell do you think," but of course it doesn't change his scarily-wide grin. So I just ignore him and quickly enter the plane. He knows I'm gay, but he likes to tease me about girls a ton. Jerk.
I glance over to see Jey, sitting pretty much 5 rows behind me. Dammit. I'm sitting with a stranger, aren't I. That has to be the most uncomfortable feeling in the world - sitting next to someone you hardly (or even don't) know for hours on end.The bustle on the plane is really loud and obnoxious and it smells like sweat and perfume. That's what you get for being with a bunch of seniors, I guess. Whatever. _It would be nice to provide gas masks, plane people. _
I quietly plug my ear buds into my phone and put them in my two, soft-and-cuddly ears, laying back onto my chair and closing my eyes. The music currently playing is "What Does the Fox Say" ironically. The music plays for a while until somebody tugs one of the ear buds out of ear.
I open my eyes and turn my head to see a wolf. I notice that he is one of my classmates... but I don't know who he is. "Hey, do you mind scooting over a bit? That's actually my chair - yours is that one." He points to the chair right next to me. Shit, I got comfortable in the wrong seat. I stand up and move over. "Sorry about that. Does that mean you're sitting next to me? I guess we are wolf buddies, aye?" he says. I just nod my head as he sits down in my old plane seat and turn my head to peer out of the window. I don't like talking to strangers - especially ones that act too friendly to random people.
And then I inhaled. The hell? He freaking smells like... Oh god, it's gotta be testosterone or something. I look back at him. He's wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too sexy. I didn't even know animals like that existed. He's got the whole package of what a girl, or even a guy, wants - black and shiny fur, a 6-pack, muscles that are pretty much everywhere on his body (but not, like, huge gigantic muscles 'cause that's gross), and even a nice face. Dear god. The face. If he wanted, he could be a male model. He's that sexy.
The wolf notices my gaze and I quickly turn away. If there wasn't fur all over my body, he totally would have seen me blush, which I don't do that often. I hear him chuckle a bit and I turn back to look at what was funny. He is still looking at me. Smiling.
"I'm going to guess you're a shy one. You don't see too many wolves being shy nowadays."
I'm not fucking shy, dammit!
"So, since we are going to be on this flight for a few hours, what's your name? I haven't seen you around the school at all." he asks.
"I'm Brett. I usually sit in the corner. That's why you don't notice me." I reply. I feel like I'm being too cold to him - he is obviously trying to be friendly with me.
"Ah, that's right. Brett. I know you - your that gay guy right? The one pretty much half of the seniors talk about all of the time?"
Looks like I'm popular for being gay. Whoop-dee-doo. I don't even remember how people learned I was gay.
"Y-yeah. That's right. What's your name?" I ask. The black-furred wolf laughed. Is he making fun of me? I swear...
"My name is Vole. Don't molest me - I have a girlfriend." He snickers.
He just went there. Goddamn stereotypes. He looked so nice, too.
I roll my eyes at him and look out the window some more. We haven't even taken off yet, but I can just tell this flight is going to be really annoying. I cover my eyes with my silver-furred arms and try to fall asleep.
