Some Myths Are Real for DrakeHavok by Draconicon

"Will you just shut up, already? I'm telling you, none of those things exist."

Sam shook his head a few times as Alex started going on about the various legends around the world. Ever since his friend had started that mythology course in college, he'd been insistent that there had to be creatures throughout the world like what they saw in the stories. Dragons, gryphons, and even more specific things like selkies or vampires. They had to exist somewhere, otherwise why would there be so many legends?

He thought that Alex was an idiot, though it was only that one thing that seemed so stupid. There wasn't, nor ever had been, anything but humans and regular animals on the planet. The only other creatures around had been dinosaurs, and they were long gone.

"Seriously, why don't you give it a rest?"

"Because I think they're really out there."

"You mean you want them to be out there."

"No, I'm serious, Sam, I think that there are things like dragons out there. There's all sorts of stories -"

"Urban legends."

"Not to mention that the legends all talk about the same thing. Come on, you have to admit, it's a little weird to have the same legends here as on the other side of the ocean."

"Considering most of us came from there, not really."

Sam shook his head.

"Seriously, just drop it. I'm really, really getting tired of this argument, and you're never going to convince me."

"You know I'm right."

"No, I don't. Now shut up."

"Fine." Alex sighed. "Look, I'm gonna head home. I got some stuff to do. Talk to you in the morning?"

"As long as you don't mention dragons again."

Alex nodded and walked off as they reached a fork in the park path. Sam watched until he walked out of sight, and then took the other road, knowing it would loop him back around the park again. It was pretty late, judging by the moon position, but he needed some time to get the argument off of his mind or he'd just go home angry.

His footsteps carried him down the path without any sound but his own breathing, and frequently, Sam just looked up at the sky rather than at the path in front of him. He'd walked it so many times that he knew the route by heart, and the trees were cut in a way to make the view to the sky match the path below.

Sometimes I wish I could believe like he does, but really, dragons? It's ridiculous.

Still, he couldn't shake the feeling of how cool it could be, even if it was impossible. The idea of big, scaly creatures that were more powerful than anything else in the world, able to take down the strongest creatures on the predatorial totem pole, and probably smart enough to contend with mankind; it would be amazing to see the things that would bring out. Society would flip out, of course, and there would likely be a mass collapse one way or another, but it would be intensely interesting.

Too bad it's never going to happen.

He shook his head, but had only managed a single back-and-forth motion before his foot caught on something. Sam gasped as he went tumbling head over heels, rolling down the path before coming to a halt just underneath a tree. Breath knocked out of him, he could do nothing but lay there as he struggled to get it back.

As he rolled onto his side, Sam froze as he saw something crawling out of the bushes. It was long, sinuous, and it was just big enough for him to go completely still. Scales ran down its body like a crocodile, except smoother, more...streamlined, he supposed. It was the wings that gave it away, though, and the wings that left him absolutely shocked.

It's a dragon...a real, four legged dragon...

Yet, rather than reassuring him, that thought terrified him all the more. The idea of meeting a real dragon meant that they were actually real, and he had no idea which of the myths Alex had told him about were true. Would it be vicious or kind? Would it look at him as someone it should help, or someone it should rule? What would it actually think of humankind based on what it had seen over who knew how long a life?

It was enough to keep him paralyzed in fear as it got closer and closer. Even the glimpse of something sliding out under its belly wasn't enough to shake him from his spot. His heart raced as it moved closer and closer, that head on its long neck looking from side to side at him, glancing over his body, and then looking him in the eye.

As soon as he made eye contact, Sam realized he'd lost any ability to get away. The deep green in the dragon's eyes was hard enough to look away from, but seeing the depth there, the deep age in those eyes, felt almost like what people described when looking into a whale's eyes. There was something close to eternity there, a deep abyss that was nearly impossible to look away from. Well, they'd never looked at a dragon's eyes, because it was literally impossible for him to look away.

Sam was caught, staring deep into those eyes as the dragon came closer and closer. He felt its will pressing down on him, his eyes unblinking as a pressure pushed into his head. It smothered every one of his thoughts the way that a blanket smothered a fire, suffocating them and battering them into submission. He was forced onto his back by the strange pressure, yet he could never look away.

Soon, it was like he couldn't think of anything at all. It was like there was a pressure in his head, something that had pushed down on anything capable of thinking, and left behind only instincts that could be manipulated. Almost like a hand on a steering wheel, he felt the pressure shift, and he rolled over. Vaguely, he realized that he was presenting himself, though he wasn't sure what that meant after the thought passed through his mind.

Claws raked down his back, pulling his pants down. He pulled himself forward, unable to understand why, but knowing it was proper to pull himself away from his clothing...whatever that was. He didn't remember after he'd accomplished the task. Sam stared ahead as he felt the great, heavy body of the dragon move over him, scales against his back, and something hard and hot pressing against his ass cheeks. It dribbled all over him, and it felt like a thick shower of some sort of sauce falling on him rather than anything like water.

The pressure returned, and his hands moved towards his ass cheeks, pulling them apart as the hot hardness pressed between them. He felt like he should know what it was, but his brain was too submerged in the strange pressure. All he could do was hold his position as the thickness rubbed and slathered him with that hot, thick goo.

And then, the pressure pushed at him from an entirely different place. Sam's eyes widened slightly as he felt something enter him, forcefully spreading him wide. If he had been conscious - or if that voice in his head was loud enough to get past the pressure - he would have been screaming from the hard, powerful violation. As it was, the pressure kept him calm, kept him quiet, and kept him from feeling the pain that he would have felt if he was squirming to get free.

In and out, in and out that strange rod went, each time going a little bit deeper. It was stretching him out quickly, too, the thick slime making strange, lewd sounds every time that it filled him up a bit more. Sam could feel it running down his legs, over his balls, dripping to the grassy ground below, but most of all, he could feel that rod reaching past where anything back there should ever go.

His mind was silent as the dragon started humping him harder, faster, deeper, rocking him back and forth with the ferocity of its thrusts. Sam could feel his body throbbing, burning with whatever was spurting into him, but the feeling was momentary, growing, fading, then growing again, never strong enough for him to dwell on for long. It fed...something...in him, and he could feel his body getting heavier.

His curiosity couldn't grow enough for him to think of it, but it was impossible to ignore the gradually growing bulge and weight in his belly as it swung back and forth beneath him. Sam panted softly, his mouth hanging open as the dragon rocked him back and forth, using him, filling him, dragging him deeper into the grass. His knees had already made big dents in the ground, and he swore he was being dragged along still further.

Yet it was all secondary to what the dragon wanted. That rod hilted in him, and he could feel a scaly weight against his ass as the dragon ground against him. Grind, shift, rub, grind some more; the goo flowed faster, and he could hear the dragon's breath coming faster. What was happening?

Suddenly, the dragon growled deeper than ever, ramming itself forward hard enough for that scaly weight to thwack against his ass. Smack, smack, smack it went, and...was it rising higher? He felt it was, though he didn't know why, nor did he understand the extreme heat and sloshing feeling filling his gut.

Before he could concentrate on the feelings, the dragon swung its head down, looking him in the eye once more. The pressure shoved down hard on his mind, and in seconds, Sam slipped to the ground, falling onto his chest and blacking out. The only thing he heard before blackness claimed him was an odd, almost amused chuffing sound.

Sam gasped when he woke up, jumping to his feet as he glanced around for...whatever had stopped him last night. It felt like a dream, but he could have sworn...

But no. There were no tracks, no marks on the ground. He was even still dressed. He must have dreamed it, smacked his head on something and dreamed of a dragon after Alex had been going on about them.

But why would it...

No, he didn't want to think about that. What mattered now was getting to a bathroom, because his stomach rumbled like mad, and he could feel a twisting in his stomach that he definitely couldn't ignore.

Of course, as he ran off, he had no idea that something was watching him. Something that was grinning in the bushes. Something that was waiting for its young to grow and lay and hatch, so that they could return to the world.

The End
