In the depths of route 217, just below snowpoint city, a rough blizzard, not unnatural to the harsh area, began to howl around the land. In the depths of the pure snow, a small, pitiful moan emitted from the depths. Suddenly the snow around where the moan was heard began to show slight cracks as it mounded up into a small mole hill as a figure began to emerge from the depths of the snow. The mound seemed to moan as if it had awakened from a deep sleep as a black scythe like object protruded out of the mound slowly followed by two piercing red eyes which penetrated the whiteness of the snow easily. After what seemed like hours the figure fully emerged from the confinements of the snow as it looked around confused as to how it had gotten there. The figure stood on its four paws at around the height of 3'11" and seemed to resemble a wolf somewhat but the creatures face seemed to resemble some cat like features. The figure had a scythe like growth which protruded from its forehead which was subsequently met by an overall shape disc which was clearly viable on the creature's head. Another yet similar scythe to the one on the front of the creature's head, was also protruding from the back end of the somewhat weird creature as it took a weak and pitiful step forward as it looked like it was about to fall over at any second. The weird looking creature's fur looked exactly identical to the white pureness of the snow as only its black was visible on its body. The figure looked around, confused of its surrounding as it gave a slight moan and placed a paw on its head which had now stopped bleeding, The wolf quickly removed its paw as if it had hurt to his touch and looked down on the dry blood which now covered the mammals paw. The wolf gave a loud moan as he couldn't see anything but snow in front of him as he slowly walked blindly through the blizzard, hoping to find some shelter soon.
Paw after paw the creature would walk through the seemingly endless route 217. The creature seemed to be in slight pain as the wound on its head seemed to be bleeding again as a shiny, red droplet slipped down the creature's white fringe, which covered its left eye, and landed on the pure white snow of which the creature walked. Paw after Paw, drop after drop the creature walked as it began to feel weak, its paws had numbed from the walking in the sub-zero climate as its body seemed to grow heavy with each passing second. The wolf suddenly stopped dead in its tracks, it seemed hopeless to carry on as the figure took one last glimpse at the blizzard ridden sky as it slowly yet gracefully fell to the floor...The next morning the seemingly helpless creature woke up in a warm and comfortable sleeping bag, a fire blazed and crackled in front of the wolf like creature as it opened its eyes to view the fire of which was burning in front of it. The mammal arose from its sleeping bag only to be gently pushed down by a soft force of which the creature known as the pokémon absol could not of taken on at this moment in time as it gave in and was pushed down into the sleeping bag gently by some unknown individual. A gentle yet masculine voice penetrated the harsh crackling of the shimmering fire as a white face and two pointed ears looked down upon the absol in curiosity. "Hello there, are you feeling better? I saw you face down in the snow." The creature smiled as if proud of what it had achieved as its elongated left ear twitched slightly. The absol slowly turned in its sleeping bag to look up at the strange creature which seemingly saved the absol's life. The absol gave a weak smile up at the creature as he examined the body of the rather well built mammal. For starters what really stood out from the creature was that of its markings. A large "M" shape was seen in red on the middle section of the hero's body as the absol glanced over the ferret like creature's body.
The absol noticed the sharp claws of which the ferret had which seemed to be retracted at the moment but by god where they huge. The absol smiled up at the ferret like pokémon as to hope the ferret didn't see him looking at the masculine figure. The absol spoke in a weak yet well toned voice as he tried turning on his back to look directly up at the other male. "Y-yeah I'm sort of feeling better...Did you maybe save me?". The absol's eyes glistened slightly as he looked up at the male. The other male looked down upon the absol, smiled and tilted his head as he spoke in a gentle voice. "Yes, yes I did and its good your feeling much better. I was getting worried you looked....dead" The ferret looked slightly saddened as he looked at the absol's figure which was protruding from the sleeping bag. The absol was well toned as his abs where visible through the sleeping bag as the absol gently breathed. The ferret shook his head slowly as he reared his eyes away from the absol's abs too look into the glistening eyes of the absol who already detected what the ferret was doing. Trying to change subject the ferret smiled and began to speak once again. "My names xwikuun and I'm a zangoose" the zangoose said with a happy smile to his face. "Would you give me the pleasure of knowing what and who you are?" The zangoose asked after a momentary giggle.
The absol smiled up at the zangoose not minding that the zangoose had looked down at the absol's abs. The absol gave a light chuckle as he shifted around in the comfort of the sleeping bag as he began to speak in a more stronger tone. "Well hey there. The names Azra and I'm an absol...its nice to meet you xwikuun and thank you so much for saving me." The absol sat up with a smile as the zangoose moved back slightly as to move out the absol's way. The absol seemed more stronger now as he glanced over at the zangoose named xwikuun with a massive smile. xwikuun blushed lightly as the absol complimented his actions. "Its no problem, its only natural to help a fellow pokémon in need." The absol smiled after what the zangoose said as he completely arose to his paws. The absol smiled and looked at the zangoose who looked back at the absol who began to speak. "Well thank you xwikuun for saving me...I wont be a bother to you now thank you so much and I hope we will get to meet soon." Azra turned his back to the zangoose and began to walk away slowly still slightly limping. xwikuun watched as the absol walked away from him. The absol suddenly stopped dead in his tracks as something clinged to his foot. Azra looked down to find that the zangoose had latched himself onto the absol's back paw as he looked up at the absol, smiled and spoke in a pleading tone. "Would you mind if you stayed for a little while longer? I haven't had company in a little while and I would love to get to know you more". The absol looked down he thought on how the zangoose seemed to like him a lot but they only knew each other for a couple of minutes. The absol pondered on the zangoose's question as he smiled and gratefully replied. "Sure, its the least I could do since you saved my life...Are you sure I'm not bothering you?". The zangoose shook his head no as he began to stand up at a height of 4'03" Making the absol seem small. The zangoose jumped up and down in excitement as he dragged the absol back to the camp as the absol clawed at the ground trying its hardest not to be dragged so much.
Chapter Two: The missing link
Azra was successfully dragged back to the camp by xwikuun as they both sat inside the same sleeping bag looking down into the now dwindling fire which kept them slightly both warm as their body heat also contributed to the warmth. The pair spoke to each other as if they had been friends for years as the absol began to speak again. "So what was you doing in the middle of a blizzard then?" He giggled as he looked at the zangoose of which after he replied. "I could ask the same thing to you" He said chuckling away to himself as the reddish glow of the flame flicked over the two friends as the absol replied. "Well I actually don't know...one minute I was with this pikachu the next I ended up in a snow storm" The zangoose tilted his head slightly at the other male who was looking down sadly into the fire, the zangoose thought to himself about what could of possibly happened to the pikachu as he sat and stared at his newly found friend and spoke. "oh...Sounds like a bit of a weird one...But your pikachu buddy will be okay...what was its name?" The absol looked at the zangoose in a puzzled look as he tried to think of the name of the pikachu of which he was with before. Azra gave a slight wince as his brain began to hurt with too much thinking as he drooped his head low. "I-I cant remember...i seriously cant... all I know is that It was a pikachu...i think its name began with a C but I'm not sure..." A tear swelled in the absol's eyes as he had forgotten the pokémon who had meant the most to him his entire life. The absol sighed and leaned on the zangoose slightly forgetting that they were both male and not knowing if the zangoose would accept this more intimate side of Azra, But the zangoose seemed not to of minded.
