Breaking Barriers - First Step
"Hey Hazel, why don't you sit with us?" said a small female black cat.
"Alright," said Hazel as she pulled up a chair to the round lunch table where a variety of different furs sat. She looked at the different couples which sat around her, wolf and a husky, two cats, and a bat and the female cat which had invited Hazel to join the table. Her first day at this new school had gone very well, and she had immediately made friends. Two weeks had flown by, and she had become quite popular. She was a pretty vixen, orange fur with a white chest and stomach, black fur covering the tips of her ears and her hands and feet. She had received her name for her stunning hazel colored eyes, which were usually the first thing that people noticed. Already there were a number of boys who had taken an
interest in her.
Now she sat bored as she listened slightly to what was being said around her. She moved a lock of blonde hair from her face, catching notice of a human male who always sat by himself in one corner of the lunch room. "Hey Samantha, who's that?" she asked pointing at him.
"That's Conner," said the black cat shortly.
"Why's he all by himself?" True that he must be the only human in this entire school, but surely that wasn't the reason Hazel thought. He wasn't ugly, but wasn't very good looking either, brown hair, brown eyes, and a little frail.
"You can't tell by looking at him? Are you blind?"
"Maybe, what's wrong with him?"
"He's a human!"
"So?"
"So? Humans are stupid inferior creatures!" she exclaimed. Hazel thought about that for a moment. In her old school, any racial tensions between humans and morphs had been completely done away with. In fact, couples between the two were very common there, and she had even had a relationship with one herself, regardless of how bad it had been. With out another word Hazel stood up, walked over to the table and sat down at Conner's table.
"Hi," she said warmly, "I'm Hazel." He didn't say anything, only looked at her, as if expecting something else. She tried to spark up a conversation by asking, "What's your name?"
"Look are you here because your friends dared you too, or because you just want to make fun of me?" he said.
"No, neither. I just wanted to meet you, you look nice." He didn't say anything, only looked at her who sat looking expectantly at him. He seems to be checking whether or not my motives are true or not Hazel thought. "I promise you I didn't come here to bother you," she said after a minute.
"I'm Conner," he said quietly. He had never had a friend in this school. Most people picked on him, the nice ones were the ones that just left him alone, so he was skeptical that a pretty vixen would want to come and sit with him for no other reason than because she was interested in meeting him. "You might want to go," he said, "You're friends are talking about you for being over here. They'll stop talking to you if you're not careful."
"I don't care," said the vixen, waving her tail slowly behind her, "Let them talk."
"You don't want to end up with out a friend like me," he said in a very depressed tone. Before she could respond however, the school bell rang, indicating that it was time for their next class and lunch was over. He grabbed his things and walked out, not even looking at the vixen who had tried to catch up to him.
"Hey, hey Conner slow down," she said, panting slightly as she finally reached him. God he moved quickly. "What class you have now?"
"Math."
"Math? Me too," she said warmly. He didn't say anything, only continued walking and looking straight ahead. Why was he so intent on ignoring her? Well I'll try again later she thought.
The rest of the day went very slowly, and Hazel wasn't sure what she was going to do on this Friday night. "Hey Hazel, can I talk to you for a sec?" asked Samantha.
"Of course, what is it?" she asked.
"Why were you talking to that loser Conner? You know he's nothing but bad news, he's a fucking human!" She said the last word with such disgust that you'd think she had just described the most horrible thing on Earth.
"So what if he's a human Sam? I don't understand what the big deal is. He's not mean or anything. Hell, he doesn't even seem to be a loser from what I can tell."
"You've just met him, how could you possibly know!?"
"I don't for sure, but I have a good feeling he's not. Besides, have you ever even talked to him?" Sam sat looking dumbly at the vixen who rolled her eyes. "I didn't think so. I'll see you later Sam."
She picked up her books and walked out of the school. It was a long walk to her home, and she lived in an area with few neighbors. She turned onto the dirt road which led to her house. She was surprised to see someone else walking just in front of her, and it was the human, Conner! "Hey, wait a sec." He turned to look at her smiling, turned back and continued to walk. "Where do you live? I don't think I've ever seen you around here." Or any other humans she thought.
"I live at the end of the road, grey house," he said brusquely.
"That's so weird! You live in the house next to me and I haven't seen you once!"
"Don't go out much," he sighed.
"Oh no!" said Hazel. Conner turned to look at what had caused this outburst. Hazel sat on the ground, her books and papers spilled all over the road and surrounding areas where the wind had blown her belongings. He helped her get up, offering a strong hand as she pulled herself up.
"You okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine, but my things..." With out another word Conner began to pick up her belongings, not missing a single paper and handed them back to her wordlessly. "Thank you Conner!"
"Yep, was nothing," he almost blushed and smiled as she gave him a friendly hug. That was the first time she had seen him smile, or had been so warm to her since she had met him earlier.
"So what are you doing this weekend?" she asked as they continued walking, their homes in sight.
"Nothing," he muttered.
"You wanna come over to my place and watch a movie or something? I'm sure it'll be okay with my Mom, and my Dad is on a business trip so he obviously won't care."
"Uhh I guess. Let me just go home, drop off my stuff and I'll come over in a sec." Hazel smiled warmly at the boy who turned to his home and walked inside. She turned to her own home and thought about how she had just befriended, or so she thought she had, the human who everyone seemed content with ignoring.
She went up to her room and had just finished putting away her school things and switching into more comfortable clothes when she heard the doorbell ring. She ran down a flight of stairs and opened the door quickly. She smiled and said, "Wasn't sure if you were really going to show up or not." Conner stood there, unmoving. "You can come in you know." She grabbed his hand and pulled him inside. "You don't talk very much do you?"
"Never had a reason too. You're the first one who actually wanted to talk, the others never want too."
"Why not?"
"Cause I'm a human. Why else?"
"At my old school there were no problems between humans and morphs."
"I'm sure that at your old school there was also more than one human. This is an all morph area."
"Well I don't care if your human or not, you're very nice."
"Thanks I guess."
"Hmmm, so you hungry or thirsty?"
"Thanks, but I'm good."
"Alright, you need anything tell me. Anyway, you wanna go watch that movie?"
"Sure," he said fidgeting slightly. Obviously he was nervous around her, it was his first friend and the first time he had been in another person's home. She smiled, noticing how nervous he was and led him into the living room. A large TV was there, with surround sound and an assortment of other electronics. "Wow," he let slip taking in his surroundings.
"Yeah, my parents are kind of, well there really rich," she said. "What would you like to watch?" she asked.
"I don't care, you pick."
"Ohhh you'll love this," she said holding up a movie. It was her favorite comedy, she knew almost the whole thing by heart. As it began playing they sat down together on the couch. She had picked well, he was laughing almost the whole time, and she smiled thinking about how much he must be enjoying himself actually spending time with another. When the movie was done they sat talking for a while. God he's hilarious though Hazel. He knew how to make her laugh and had make her come close to tears. After a while however, it got late and they heard someone come inside.
"Hazel, I'm home. Who's here?" said a female voice.
"A friend Mom. Come on, you can come meet her." Conner stood up and followed Hazel into the kitchen where a female fox stood dressed up in a suit. "Mom this is Conner," she said introducing him. For a moment the fox said nothing, trying her best to hide a look of shock that her daughter had befriended a human, not that it was a big deal or she cared, but how had Hazel managed to find a human. She wasn't even aware of any that lived in this town at all.
"Hi Conner," she said.
"Hi Mrs.?"
"Call me Lily. Hazel it's late and I think Conner should be heading home soon."
"Okay Mom, I'm gonna walk him home okay?"
"Where does he live?"
"Right next door."
"Okay, but you come right back now, you hear?"
"Yes Mom." Hazel and Conner walked out of the house.
"Your mom doesn't like me very much," said Conner as they walked up the steps to his home.
"It's not that," she said, "She works with humans all the time. She probably just thinks its weird that one lives right next door and even that one lives in this entire town!"
"Right," said Conner opening the door to his home, "I'll see you later Hazel."
"Bye Conner, I had a really good time today. Thank you for coming over." She gave him a hug. "Maybe you can come over again tomorrow?"
"That would be fun."
"Great! Okay, I gotta get home before my mom gets mad. Goodbye!" With that she took off skipping and giggling like a little girl. Her mother did not say another word about Conner when she came home, and the rest of the evening went quickly.
Hazel thought about Conner as she closed her eyes and tried to sleep. Maybe he wasn't the best looking, but man was he fun to be around! She smiled as she remembered some of the goofy things he had done. "How could I have fallen for him in one day?" she asked herself. She felt a tingling sensation in her sex begin to form as she thought of him. She thought of having him come over, fucking him senseless. This only furthered the feelings in her crotch and she sighed as she felt how wet her panties had become. She had to stop this, she couldn't wait to see him the next day.
When the next day did arrive however, it was raining, and Hazel sat depressed in a chair of the kitchen. "Mom I don't want to go. I have plans for today!"
"Well I'm sorry Hazel but you know you have to go to your Aunt's party. Hazel sighed at the lost day. What was she going to tell Conner?
"Mom I'm going outside. I'll be right back."
"You better hurry back, its pouring outside and I don't want you getting sick!" Hazel ran out into the rain, stopping only when she stood on the porch to Conner's house. Her fur hung wet to her body, and her tail was dripping behind her. She folded her ears down as she knocked on the door, embarrassed by her appearance.
"One second, one second I'm coming," she heard Conner saying. He opened the door, "Hazel!" he said surprised.
"Hi, sorry about being wet, but you know," she pointed to the rain. "Anyway I came over to tell you we can't do anything later. My mom is dragging me off to my Aunt's party... so I'm sorry," she finished.
"It's okay," he said disappointed, "Well I'll see you later I guess."
"Yes of course! I'm really sorry, bye!" she said running off into the rain and joining her mother back at her house. Conner sighed and went back in the door. Closing it quickly behind him he went up to his room and threw himself on his bed. He had finally made a friend, a real friend. Not only that, but he knew he liked her more than that. She was gorgeous, and those eyes, her eyes were so amazing, he thought.
On Monday, school went along normal until lunch. Hazel had no other classes besides math and lunch with Conner. She sat down at her normal table after an invitation from Sam. They talked, and Hazel watched as Conner came in and sat at his normal table. She thought about getting up and sitting with him, but every time she tried, another person started talking to her. A cute husky male sat down next to her. "Hey Hazel, your looking fine," he said.
"Thanks," she said, her mind not fully on the conversation at hand. The husky continued to flirt with her when Sam pulled her aside and whispered into her ear.
"Are you crazy Hazel!? Tom's all over you and you're ignoring him!" she hissed.
"I'm sorry it's just, there're other things on my mind right now," she said throwing a glance at Conner.
"I wouldn't want to fuck up an chance with Tom! He's so hot, be careful." With that Sam returned to her seat. Hazel continued to ignore Tom, who eventually noticed where her attention was located.
"Are you looking at that fucking human over there?" he snarled. "That's fucking disgusting, in fact I'm gonna make sure you can't look at him anymore," he growled, standing up and punching his fist into his other hand.
"Tom no, leave him alone!" Hazel shouted at him, but it was too late, he had already walked over to where Conner sat and was threatening him.
"Stand up animal!" he yelled.
"Look, I don't know what I did but I'm sorry. I don't want any trouble."
"Tom leave him alone, he hasn't done a damn thing! Besides, you're just jealous that I'm paying more attention to him than you."
"Shut up you dumb bitch. This doesn't concern you!" By now, a sizeable crowd had grown up around the table, and sat encircling Conner and Tom.
"You know I'm right, just leave him alone!" Tom took no heed and grabbed Conner by the collar of his shirt.
"Stand up," he barked out. Conner slowly stood up. After he had stood, Tom took a swing at his head, which connected and sent him backwards onto the ground. Conner stood up, dazed from the heavy punch he had just taken, and put up his guard, now ready for a fight.
"Figures a bitch like you would throw a sucker punch," said Conner calmly. Tom charged at him, this time having his attack blocked and countered, a shot which brought him to the ground. He snarled and stood up again, attacking again, only to be blocked repeatedly. When the onslaught was done, Conner punched him hard across his face and brought him down. The fight was over as Tom began to whimper like a pup after he hit the ground. When Conner was leaving from the circle which had grown up around him a large tiger stepped into the ring.
"Come on and fight me now," he taunted. Conner had no intention of fighting, the tiger was huge, and he had no chance against the big cat. The circle however, had other desires, and would not let him leave. Conner turned towards the cat who stood taunting him. He charged and Conner tried in vain to block the strong punch which he threw. Conner hit the ground hard, found he couldn't stand up. He groaned as the victorious tiger sat enjoying the cheering of the crowd. Hazel ran over to him, pulling him up and getting him out of the ring. No one noticed as they slipped out.
"You poor thing, I'm so sorry I couldn't stop him," Hazel said, placing a cold wet paper towel on his eye, which had already turned black and blue.
"It's not your fault. This is the first time they've ever gotten violent with me though. Most of the time they just make fun of me."
"Awww you poor baby," said Hazel hugging herself to him. "I feel awful."
"It's okay, really don't worry about it. You might not wanna be seen with me though, now they'll talk about you for sure."
"I don't care what they think Conner. I really don't. I have to go get my stuff from the cafeteria. I'll meet you in math okay?"
"Yeah," he said holding the paper towel to his eye. Hazel returned to the room where the crowd had now dispersed, but the entire lunchroom sat conversing loudly about the fight. Tom sat with a swollen cheek and eye, the large tiger sitting next to him.
"Hey Hazel, what you think about your dumb ass human friend after Frank here taught him a lesson?"
"I think you're pathetic, I also think that you're a lot more of a loser than him. He beat the hell out of you. You can't even win your own battles, and yet you have the audacity to gloat in victory anyway." Hazel turned to leave when she heard Sam run after her.
"Hazel! I'm sorry about Tom, I never realized what a jerk he was. But anyway, I told you you should stay away from the human didn't I? It got you into trouble just like I said." Hazel ignored her friend's comments and went to math. Conner sat in the back of the room. Hazel sat down next to him and smiled.
They didn't say anything as they left from the school. Hazel carried her heavy books, and Conner seemed to notice her struggling with them. "You want me to take those?" he asked holding out his arms.
"Thanks," she said handing them to him, "They're really heavy." When they reached the end of the road, Conner returned her books, said goodbye and walked inside his house. Hazel sighed. Poor kid, she thought, it's my fault he got into trouble, and he didn't need this at all.
The rest of the week passed in a normal fashion, and Hazel gladly welcomed the weekend. She had a party to attend that night, and she walked happily, wagging her tail enthusiastically and smiling all the way to her house. "Hey Conner, you wanna come to Lynne's party tonight?"
"Wasn't invited," was all he said.
"I know, but she said I could bring a friend if I wanted. Would you like to come?"
"Everyone there's just going to make fun of me, and I don't want a repeat of Monday."
"Oh come on. I'll be there, and I'll make sure no one bothers you. You'll enjoy yourself."
"Fine," he conceded.
"Yay!" exclaimed Hazel even more ecstatic now then she was before, and threw her arms around Conner. "I'm glad your coming. We can go together."
"Alright."
When Conner and Hazel arrived, few people there took notice. After a while however, word of Conner's presence spread. Lynne, a beautiful female wolf, was the first one brave enough to talk to him.
"Hi Conner," she said, "You came with Hazel?"
"Yeah, I'll go now if you wa-"
"No, that's not what I want at all. You and Hazel enjoy yourselves okay?"
"Alright, thank you." Conner was suprised she was letting him stay. Maybe because Hazel had brought him and she was such good friends with her, she had decided it would be alright if he stayed. Soon after, adding even more to his surprise, a pretty female rabbit came over and began to hang out with him and Hazel, and slowly more and more people began to talk to him. Many found him amusing and he became the life of the party, making all of those around him laugh. Only now did people realize that the kid they had been ignoring for so long was funny, smart and nice. Many of the girls had even begun to flirt with him. Conner was laughing and was enjoying himself immensely until Tom and his crony Frank showed up.
"You people should all be fucking ashamed for hanging out with such a lowly human," he snarled. Frank stood right behind him, making his hands into fists. It was quite obvious what their intentions were, and Conner knew he was about to get beaten up again. The huge cat took a step forward toward him, only to have a bat step out in front of him and block his path.
"Move you little blood sucker," the tiger yelled. The bat however, did not even flinch as the tiger began to throw a punch when he remained in his way. The bat caught the tiger's hand, bending his arm behind his back and making him beg for mercy as he twisted it sharply. Conner marveled at the strength of the creature, he knew bats were strong but this one must have been the strongest.
"If the two of you leave now," he said, "I won't break your arm."
"Okay, okay," whimpered the cat. Tom and Frank left, embarrassed at being stopped.
"You okay Conner?" asked the bat.
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks a lot uh?"
"Chris, and it was nothing." The rest of the party passed the same as it had before, and at the end of it, Conner received many apologies for past actions. He accepted them all, and left with Hazel happily.
"I told you you'd enjoy it! They loved you!" Conner didn't say anything. He stopped walking and Hazel turned to look why. She however, stood shocked as she felt Conner throw his arms around her and pull her into a tight hug. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and she smiled at him. She nuzzled her muzzle into him and he broke the embrace.
"Hazel... there's something I need to tell you."
"What is it Conner?"
"I love you Hazel," he blurted out awkwardly. Her ears perked fully at hearing this and it was her this time who began a new embrace, crying slightly.
"Awww, I love you too Conner. I have since the first day we hung out together."
After a while of holding each other, Conner grabbed Hazel's hand and led her to his home. He opened the door and sat her down on a couch in his living room.
"Mom, Dad, I'm home," he said.
"Hi Conner, how are you?" asked a raccoon morph who walked into greet him.
"I'm good, Dad this is Hazel."
"Hi Hazel," he smiled warmly.
"Who's with you?" asked what Hazel assumed was his mother, another raccoon morph.
"Hazel Mom." No wonder she had never seen any other humans, he was adopted. And it was very possible that his parents were nocturnal, a choice which some creatures made, which explained why she had never even seen his parents.
"Well hello there Hazel, I'm Caroline and this is Jason," she said pointing to her husband.
"Nice to meet you," said Hazel, her tail drooping slightly between her legs and her ears held almost to her head as she was very nervous. What if they asked her why she was with Conner? Would she say she was his girlfriend? Or what if..? Hazel did not have time to think about these questions however as soon the question she'd feared was asked.
"So you know Conner?"
"Yes, I'm," should she say it? "His girlfriend," she finished.
"Well I'm sure glad he picked a nice cute girl like you."
"Thank you," said Hazel blushing.
"Let's go to my room for a second Hazel," said Conner after all his parents were finished asking all of their questions.
"Sure," she said following him to a small room at the side of the house. It had a large window which overlooked the distance between Hazel's house. She sat down at the end of his bed and saw an open book lying on it. She picked it up only to have it snatched away again quickly.
"Kinda personal," he said sheepishly, pointing out the word journal on the front of it. Hazel laughed.
"Sorry, didn't mean to invade your privacy."
"Hazel?"
"Yes?"
"You really mean what you said about being my girlfriend?" asked Conner.
"Of course Conner. I love you, and you love me, it only makes sense."
"Thank you for everything Hazel. You've done so much for me."
"Well I'm glad I could help. Now can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
"Promise you won't get mad?"
"Yeah."
"What happened to your parents?"
"I thought that might be your question. They passed away when I was only a baby in a car accident. Mom and Dad were good friends with them, and they decided to adopt me after they died. I've grown up here with them ever since."
"I'm sorry Conner, I was just curious ab-"
"That's okay. It's only natural to be curious. Anyway, it's getting late, I'll walk you home."
After crawling into her bed, Hazel began to think about Conner and all that had happened today. She was finally going out with him! She felt a tingling in her sex and moved her hand down to cover it. She began to probe her depths when she suddenly stopped. I'm going to save myself for him, she thought.
The school year went quickly for both Conner and Hazel. Conner was glad to finally have friends, and school was actually enjoyable to go to now that everyone liked him, well except for a select few like Tom. Most of the school thought they were a cute couple.
Two weeks into summer, after saying goodbye to Conner one night, Hazel reluctantly went to bed. She found she could not sleep however, and jumped out of bed. Throwing on a pair of shoes and opening the window in her room. This was not the first time she had done this and she carefully took out the screen to it. She crawled out of the window, greeted by the warm summer air on her mostly naked body as she stepped out onto the roof. She climbed carefully down from the roof and landed swiftly onto the ground. What was she going to do now? Then it hit her. She ran over to Conner's house and looked into his room, rapping quietly on the window. "Hazel? What the fuck are you doing out here it's two in the morning," he said sleepily as he opened the window.
"I know, but I couldn't sleep and there's nothing to do."
"So you figured you'd bother me?"
"Exactly," she said giggling.
"Well, come in I guess," he said helping her into the room. "I see you dressed for the occasion," he said noticing that she wore nothing but her bra and panties.
"I knew you'd like it," she said waving her hips seductively and wagging her tail. Conner laughed and she sat down on the bed, patting the spot next to her for him to join her. She sat on his lap and kissed him deeply. "I love you Conner."
"I love you too Hazel." She purred quietly as he stroked her head fur and her ears. She kissed him again, rubbing slightly against his crotch, and enjoying the sight of his cock tenting his boxers. She placed her hand on his cock, looking up at him as she began to rub. She pulled down his boxers after standing him up to expose his cock. She placed the tip into her muzzle and began to lick it as she slowly took more of the cock into her mouth. Conner sat with his jaw dropped, he had never been with a girl before and this felt amazing. It did not take long for him to climax and spray his seed into her mouth. "Sorry I wasn't expectin-"
"It's okay," she said hungrily licking the spilled seed. "I love you Conner," she said rolling onto her back on the bed. Conner jumped down next to her and rubbed her stomach, enjoying the purring which escaped from Hazel's throat. He noticed that her panties were wet, and gently placed a finger under them, rubbing his finger against her slit. When she did not abject he pulled them down and kissed her sex. Hazel moaned softly and Conner kissed her sex again, beginning to experiment and try licking it with his tongue. Eventually he had brought Hazel to orgasm. "A little crude but I promise you'll get better at it. You've never done this before have you?" Conner shook his head no and Hazel smiled at him. "Well don't worry about it. I promise you this will feel really good. You have a condom?" Conner nodded. "Would you like to get it?" giggled Hazel. Conner stood up and returned with a condom in hand. "Okay now here," she said helping him place it over his cock. "There we go, ready?"
"Yes."
"Okay, if you want to stop just tell me." Hazel laughed when she realized she was acting as her boyfriend had the first time they had made love. She placed herself above his cock, and slowly pushed herself down onto it. He was big, and it took her a while to adjust to his girth and get all of it into herself. She groaned as she finally managed to sink him into her depths. She began to move up and down, placing his hands on her tits. He rubbed her nipples and squeezed her breasts. She leaned down and gave him a kiss, and he groaned as he felt his climax near. After another minute he cummed, but Hazel found herself not satisfied. She continued to work his cock, slowly feeling a wave of ecstasy pass of her body. Conner was exhausted and felt himself growing soft. How long was she going to ride his cock for? Finally Hazel reached orgasm, moaning loudly as she cummed onto his cock. She sat enjoying the sensations that worked through her body. "Oh Conner that was amazing. Did you like it?"
"Of course, I'm sorry I wasn't very good. This was my first time you know and-"
"Will you shut up? You'll get better and last longer with time. Don't worry, that was absolutely amazing anyway."
"I love you Hazel."
"I love you too." The vixen pulled the warm blankets around herself and said, "Hope you don't mind that I'm spending the night."
"Of course not," said Conner. With that, the two cuddled up close, and fell asleep.
