A Shaman's Healing

It's a blizzard out here right now, and my wrist is killing me. On the bright side I managed to finish this little piece in am little over a week at roughly 11,500 words long. I didn't want to add the bbw tag because bears are already kind of big.
This short story is about a human who is caught hunting in a sacred forest by tribal natives. An unlikely person saves and takes care of him. It's a warm story to read while the snow falls outside. Stay warm!

Edit II Minor fixes, sentence correction, spelling, NAME correction, and typical with most of my short stories there's little background, leaving a lot up to the reader
An arrow whizzed through the air, above a freshly killed deer. Crows scattered from the scene and flew away in to the sky, cawing as they went. The human clutched a cut on his outer thigh to help stop the stinging and bleeding. He pressed his back to a tree hearing a sharp snap nearby. The voices were close. Orders to spread out were barked, and knives were drawn for close combat.
'I'm bleeding!' A human suddenly felt searing pain across his arm. The near silent thump of an arrow hitting a tree ahead caught his attention. He glanced at his arm and noticed a red line through a fresh cut in his shirt where the projectile had grazed him. His second wound. The human bolted through the forest. Twigs and underbrush snagged at him like nipping vermin.
"Kill him if you can't capture him!" A badger yelled. Mathew, the human, only ran faster when he heard the words. He clamored through the forest and thick underbrush to escape. His heart pounded in his ears and adrenaline coursed through his veins in the flight of his life. Trees, bushes, and shrubs blurred through his vision as he ran further and further into the forest. He was utterly lost, but his legs burned to keep up the fast stride. A knife wielding figure jumped from around a tree and fell upon the human. They tumbled to the ground with a scream and snarl apiece. Mathew managed kick the fang bearing coyote and run away. He didn't get far before a nagging pain made him clutch his side. He looked down and noticed a deep gash in his side, and he was bleeding. Desperate to run away, the human pushed exhaustion away until he could run no more. His pursuers were closing in, but he collapsed to the ground clutching his gravest wound. His breaths came in ragged pants. He shuddered at the sight of his own blood on the ground.
A loud roar startled him through the rapidly waning adrenaline rush. He saw a large shadow overcast him and part of the ground. His arms sought purchase on the grassy ground, but failed to get up again.
'Is this... the end?' He panted for air to breath. There was yelling, barking, and fierce arguing all around the human. His vision blackened and his body went limp. Just as he fell into unconsciousness a pair of arms carefully lifted his body, and all was silent in the deep part of the forest.
A pair of eyes slowly opened. The sound of breathing broke the odd silence. Mathew thought he was in a dream and looked to his side. The cuts on his outer thigh, arm, and the deep gash on his side were bandaged. It was hard to think through the heaviness in his head.
"What's going on?" He grumbled and looked around. Wherever he was, the place was dim. The smell of leaves confused his nose. He wasn't a hunter by nature, but the smell of leaves and other earthen smells bombarded his untrained nose. He started to sit up, but his body was too weak. A sudden warmth appeared on his forehead. It was soft and leathery, but it warmed him like the sun.
"You still have a low fever." A middle aged female voice caught his attention. He focused his eyes, but rather than an angel, he found himself staring at a large nipple in front of his face.
'Huh?' He blinked at the fleshy nub. His eyes traced up a brown furred chest to a head. 'A... Bear?' A female brown bear to be exact. Confusion was visible across his face. The female bear was sitting by his side in her full glory, completely naked. From what he could see the matron bear was clearly tall and thick. Her breasts rolled down her chest like distended melons, resting on a pudgy stomach. Thick nipples on each pointed closer to the ground than straight ahead. Wavy brown hair originating from the back of her head reached the small of her back. A big pair of legs was tucked underneath her sitting body. 'She really is naked!' His eyes noticed only fur and quickly averted themselves.
"How do you feel?" She softly asked. A large padded hand rested against his cheek. He immediately leaned into the source of heat. His body began shivering for more warmth.
"I-I'm cold." He struggled not to sound desperate. "Do you have a blanket?" The female bear shook her head.
"I do not." She shook her head. Mathew shivered and wondered if she would let him freeze. To his surprise the middle aged bear scooted closer to him. She laid down beside him before turning into her side to face him. One of her large breasts landed on his front, and he immediately held onto it like a blanket. She partially laid on him and pressed her body against his. Her leg hiked over his legs, pressing her heated downy fur against his skin. Mathew pushed the embarrassing thoughts away and warmed himself. His shivering quickly ceased with her toasty warm fur. The female bear smelled like sweet grass, the peaty earth, and of course her own light muskiness with a strong hint of pine.
'Is this a dream? Am I dead?' Mathew wondered to himself feeling a cozy sleepiness take over his body.
"Are you warm?" She asked.
"Yes." He managed to nod, feeling her fur brush over his face. The bear was unbelievably warm, and Mathew snuggled as close to her as possible. He had many questions for her, but they would have to wait for another time.
Mathew awoke with light to see by. A grey ceiling of stone and rock rested a couple of feet above him. To his sides were dark drew walls made of stone as well. He looked around and realized that he was in a cave, but the naked female bear was nowhere to be seen.
'Was all of that a dream?' He covered his forehead. The sound of a bird chirping by the cave entrance startled him. Mathew was able to sit up despite the soreness in his body. Sleeping on a bedding meant for a stable animal wasn't meant for his back. "Gods..." He looked over his bandaged body. "It wasn't a dream!" He placed a hand on a wound only to shudder. The bedding crunched beneath him as he sat forward. The cave had a cozy feel despite being narrow.
"Ugh..!" He cringed feeling a familiar sensation. 'Where do I go?' The cave entrance caught his eye. Mathew reached forward onto all fours and crawled at an agonizing pace, but pain and soreness halted his advance. The human slumped against the cave wall, afraid to reopen a fresh wound. 'Where is she?' Mathew rubbed his eyes and looked around the cave, but there was no sign of the naked bear. An agonizing minute assed before he heard someone approaching from outside. He yelled at the first sight of short brown ears.
"I need to pee!" He urged her to help. The female bear wasted no time and dropped her load of firewood. She scooped the human in her arms and hurried around the cave where a level stump rested in the middle of a thicket. She set the human down and held him steady. Mathew relieved himself with a heartfelt sigh.
"Finished?" She asked when the spattering stopped.
"Yes." He nodded with a sigh of relief. The female bear's strong arms picked him up and brought him back to the cave where he was laid upon the bedding. Mathew groaned partially from relief and being able to lay down again.
"Sorry." The bear apologized and sat down beside
"For what?" Mathew was confused. "You helped me."
"I could've waited for you to wake up first." She looked at the ground guiltily. Her kindness felt strange, not to mention everything else. Mathew looked at the naked female bear sitting before him.
"Am I dead?" He asked her. The bear gave him a peculiar look.
"Why would you ask that?" She flickered an ear.
"There's nothing here! I'm in an empty cave. How did I get here? I want answers!" His raised voice echoed throughout the cave. She smiled at the small outburst of verbal energy. "Who are you?" He finished his tirade of questions.
"My name is Ursa." She politely grinned.
"Are you a matron?" He asked.
"No." She found his question amusing. "I am a shaman."
"Is that a healer?" Mathew knew that each village had a healer who knew a lot about natural medicine and caring for the sick.
"In a way, yes, but a shaman has a closer spiritual connection with nature by living an ascetic lifestyle." She explained. "This cave is my home, and I do not own any material possessions except for tools to hunt and cook with."
"How did I get here? I was being chased... and then..." His mind couldn't remember anything after he fell to the ground and all of the shouting.
"I carried you back here and managed to stop the bleeding." She told him.
"You did!?" He was surprised that she bothered to save him.
"Yes." She slowly told him.
"Do you know why the others wanted to kill me?"
"You were caught hunting in a sacred part of the forest." She answered. "Only a shaman like me is able to hunt here, and anyone who disobeys in our eyes has desecrated this place."
"Why did you help me then?" He searched her eyes for an answer.
"Because it is a shaman's duty to care for the sick and wounded." Ursa firmly answered. A long silence passed between the two. Mathew wasn't sure what to feel from her explanation. Anger, of course, after punishment for a rule he knew nothing about. Regret for taking a week long path through the deep forest rather than the highlands. He would've accepted anything else that was obvious like stealing food or letting a fresh kill rot, but hunting in a sacred forest?
'Now I'm naked in a cave like this...' He looked down at his body.
"Are you feeling alright?" Ursa softly asked. The human merely shook his head. A large black padded palm gently pressed against his forehead. "You don't have a fever anymore.
"How long have I been in here?" He rubbed his temples.
"This is your third day." She answered. "And it's almost sun high."
"Three days..." He could hardly believe it. The bear closely looked the human over while he stated at the wall.
"You need a proper cleaning." She wiped some of the dirt off his bandaged arm. "Can you walk?" Mathew shifted and sat up slowly. His body remained tender.
"I don't know." He admitted.
"We'll take a few steps together to loosen your muscles and joints then." She reasoned and scooped the human into her strong arms. He shielded himself from the sun shining brightly above.
"Hold on. My eyes." He shielded himself with a hand. A gradual minute passed before he peeked through his hands at his surroundings. Green was the predominant color. The area immediately outside of the cave was covered with grass and moss. There was a small open space that was surrounded by foliage and mostly oak trees. A pine or spruce was visible. The cave was akin to an island at sea, albeit a forested sea.
"Ready?" She asked from above. He nodded and climbed up her side until he was standing on wobbly feet. Ursa wrapped a strong arm around his chest to hold him steady as a wave of dizziness passed. His body ached, especially around his wounds, but the bear's fuzzy fur and the sunlight warmed his skin. Mathew looked up at the bear beside him. She was just shy of being two meters tall!
'My head can barely reach her jaw.' He guessed.
"Take each step slowly." Ursa advised. Mathew looked at the ground and took each step forward cautiously.
"Oh!" Mathew felt several crackles and pops from his joints. Ursa patiently waited for him to step again. "Alright." He took another step alongside her.
"Take as much time as you need." She understood. The more he walked, the better his muscles felt and balance improved. Although, It was odd having her pressed so close to him during the whole thing.
"Ok. I think I'm good." He stopped. Ursa knelt down with Mathew before picking him up into her arms and carrying the human into the forest. The branches and leaves above them acted like a giant endless canopy. Mathew looked around the maze of trees from her shoulder. He held onto the shaman like an infant. "Do you know your way back?" Mathew looked over her shoulder and watched the trees pass out of view behind others.
"Yes. I have lived in this forest for many year." She replied. The sound of water was eventually heard. Ursa stepped out of the thick trees and towards a wide stream. The trees thinned out enough so that the sunlight could reach the ground unabated. Ursa carefully seated him on the stream's bank so his legs were in the water. The water was cool, but the warm sunlight on his naked skin felt nice.
"Hold still." Ursa knelt beside him and removed the bandages from his upper arm and thigh. He curiously looked at the red lines on his skin. The cuts were shallow, but deeper than the little scrapes and nicks on the rest of his body. Ursa undid the bandage around his torso last, and most carefully. Mathew's eyes widened when he saw the nasty dark scab line holding his skin together. Ursa sighed with relief beside him. "There's no inflammation, which means it isn't infected and should heal properly." The bear scooted to the grassy bank of the stream.
"That's good?" He didn't see anything about it being good.
"Yes." She scooped handfuls of water and splashed them over his head and back before rubbing the wet skin clean. The shaman was very careful when she cleaned a wound. Mathew did his best to hold still while she bathed his upper body. Ursa then waded into the stream with a splash and stood in front of the human. The human tried averting his eyes, but the wall of brown fur in front of him was overwhelming.
'How embarrassing...' He watched her large, claw bearing hands scoop water. Ursa splashed water onto his legs and cleaned them, but when she brushed over his privates, Mathew swatted her hand away. The human immediately groaned in pain.
"Why did you do that?" She asked and reached for his privates once again.
"Don't touch me there!" He tried worming away, but a fast hand grabbed him. 'She's strong!' He remembered and looked down at the large hand holding his entire shoulder.
"If you move like that again, who knows how much you will hurt yourself." She stated kindly, yet firmly.
"Then don't touch me there Ursa!"
"You can't clean yourself." Both of her hands impatiently rested on his legs. The human gritted his teeth in frustration. The last thing he wanted was a complete stranger bathing him, to bathe his entire body. Mathew looked at his injured body and knew that he was in no shape to clean himself.
"Fine." He sharply stated and looked away. Ursa parted his legs and poured water over him before very carefully rubbing his skin. Mathew furrowed his brow at the odd sensation of an older woman touching him.
"You don't need to feel embarrassed." She calmly stated.
"You're washing my... stuff." He exhaled when the bear finished the private area. Ursa merely knelt down with a calm huff and washed his legs next. Mathew watched her clean him diligently. She was a burly bear, not that bears weren't supposed to be larger, but her arms were almost twice as big as his! "How strong are you?" Mathew asked out of the blue.
"How strong am I?" The bear looked up at him. "Why do you ask?" She replied with a question.
"Well you're big, tall, and a-"
"Bear?" She finished his sentence.
"Yes." He sheepishly nodded.
"Doesn't that answer your question?"
"I suppose..." He looked around the trees while she cleaned his lower legs underwater. 'You picked me up with ease.' Mathew thought to himself. He wasn't fat or particularly heavy, but only a very strong person would be able to do so without much effort.
"Alright. I'm picking you up." Ursa knelt down and scooped the human into her strong arms. "Lay here and dry off." She walked over and settled him on the moss and grass.
"Just lay here? Naked?"
"Getting enough sunlight is good." Ursa explained as she sat down beside him and outstretched her legs. "And you need to dry your skin."
"Aren't you going to bathe?"
"No, but I need to dry my legs and buttocks." She pointed to a leg. Without anything else to do, Mathew laid back and settled in the grass. He watched the droplets of water roll off his skin and evaporate.
After a while, Ursa checked his body over. "Your skin dries fast." She half mumbled to herself. Ursa traced her hands over his wounds and examined them closely.
"Is everything alright?"
"Thankfully, yes." She told him. "This one was particularly bad." A finger traced around his side where the worst gash was. His tender skin tingled wherever she touched. Mathew expected her claws to cut him, but the bear was far gentler than he originally thought. "Very little inflammation, if any at all." Ursa grinned and patted his good leg. "Do you think you can practice walking again?" She placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I think so." He sat up.
"Good. My fur can finish drying while we practice."

Two hours passed before Mathew was carried back to the cave. His legs weren't wobbly anymore, but he was tired. The bear placed him down on the bedding of dried grasses, straw, and bracken. Mathew made himself as comfortable as possible, and watched her collect a few leaves that she had stored in a niche along the wall. Ursa placed a few in her mouth before spitting a wad into her palm. She chewed several more leaves and spit them into her hand.
"What is that?" Mathew arched a brow at the bear's hand of gooey mush.
"It's sage. Your wounds will heal better with it." Ursa carefully rubbed the salve on and around his wounds.
'Yuck!' He couldn't believe that she was rubbing leaves mixed with bear spit on him. His wounds were left coated with the salve.
"I need to bandage them again." Ursa promptly left, and came back with strips of fabric in her hand. Each wound on his arm, side and thigh was neatly wrapped.
Later during the night she built the fire closer towards them in the cave. It would burn out harmlessly in the rocks and provide a little heat through some of the cooler night. The two were quiet and Mathew was hesitant to call the day over. It was a little unnerving for the human to sleep naked with a naked female shaman, but he couldn't avoid it. The human rubbed his arms feeling the cooler air settle in. Chill bumps formed on his skin.
"Do you need to wrap yourself with my breasts?" She mused with a little grin. To her it was simply another part of her body, but it was obvious that the human had different opinions.
"It's getting cold." He finally stated.
"Spring warms up quickly, and you are still weak." Ursa explained and walked over to him. "But I'll keep you warm until then." The female bear sat down behind him. Mathew felt her warmer front press against his back at first. He watched the two breasts rest over his shoulders like two big pillows. The fur underneath them instantly warmed his back, shoulders, and chest. Her legs outstretched beside his own, and her arms wrapped around his naked torso. Mathew used her chest as a head rest and snuggled into her warm embrace. "I'll lay you down when you fall asleep." She promised.
"Thanks." He closed his eyes. The bear rubbed his front, lulling him to sleep.
The bear shaman was correct as the days passed. The weather warmed a good deal, and his diet returned to solid foods. Mathew could start walking on his own again, and his wounds were healing steadily. Bandages were no longer needed by the sixth day, but the human still had plenty of time to heal. The sound of rain softly echoed into the cave. Mathew was sitting beside Ursa while she sharpened her knife with a smooth stone. Neither were going anywhere during a rainstorm. The unlikely pair were gradually becoming accustomed to each other; Ursa, sharing her cave, and Mathew living in one with a shaman bear. He curiously stared at the female bear. There was little else for the human to do other than look at the naked shaman. He rose to his knees and pet over her long curly brown hair. It felt just like human hair. Mathew reached up to touch her small round ears next. Both had several nick and little cuts giving them a ragged appearance
"Do you fight a lot?" He asked.
"No." She answered. A few cuts on her ears, and a tiny scar above her eye told that a different story.
"Then how did you get those?"
"I played rough as a cub." Ursa half grinned while Mathew felt over her ear. "There are more scars hiding in my fur." He sat back down beside her and looked at her arm next. Ursa resumed sharpening the knife the best she could with a single hand. She didn't seem to mind if he inspected her body. Mathew looked at the bear's hand. It was obviously larger in comparison to his own, but The black padding on her palm and fingertips was velvety smooth and supple. Her brown fur was soft as well. The phrase gentle giant came to mind. After all, the bear was friendly and caring.
"You have some big claws Ursa." He touched the blunt claws. "Do you hunt?"
"I mostly forage, but I can hunt on occasion."
"What about during the winter?"
"Someone from the village usually provides me with food every other day until spring. Hunting is usually harder during the winter anyway."
"Do you hunt with your claws?"
"No. I forage with them. They can dig up roots easily." She poked him with one.
"I can tell." He grinned and returned her arm.
"You're talking a lot more today." She observed. Mathew shrugged and looked outside. They couldn't do much of anything unless they wanted to get soaked.
"What village are you from?"
"Matsokwe." The funny word confused him.
"Where's that?"
"It's a small village down river at the edge of the forest." Ursa stated and pointed in a general direction. "Now... Where are you from?" She turned to fully face the human and asked.
"Let's see..." He thought for a moment. "I grew up in a large port city. It's like a giant village one the sea, but there are only hills and moor, no trees. My family moved to a smaller farm town where all I cared about was exploring the countryside. A few months ago I decided to set out on my own. Then I ended up here with you." He concisely concluded.
"I should've guessed that you were the curious type." She chuckled. "I can imagine all of that, but how did you make it here?"
"I was traveling to a town in the northeast, and rather than travel along the coast I went inland. I planned on building a house, working the land, and finding a wife."
"Finding a wife?" Ursa tilted her head in question. "What does that mean?"
"You know, finding a partner for life to raise a family with."
"Oh, that must be a human way of saying finding a mate." She nodded understandingly.
"Do you have a mate?" He asked her.
"No." The bear shook her head. "Well... Not anymore." She clarified.
"What happened?"
"I was mated to someone at a young age but it didn't work for us, so we separated. Soon afterwards I became a shaman and came here."
"How old are you?"
"Do I look old?" She chuckled.
"No." His voice clearly gave away a resounding 'yes.'
"I don't mind if you say yes. I'm thirty eight winters old. How old are you?"
"Twenty seven."
"Ah, a young hunter." Ursa looked over at him wearing a grin.
"If you say so." He found her comment humoring.

When the sun set it wasn't as cold as the pervious night, so Mathew simply laid down by himself on the bedding. "Do you ever get cold during winter?" He closed his eyes and asked.
"Sometimes, but someone from a village will provide me with a blanket. Then I can wrap it over my back and shoulders." Ursa loomed over the human and looked him over in the dim firelight. She traced over his scabbed injuries. His wounds were healing well, but he still had a ways to go for a complete recovery. "Dream of sweet things." She patted his unwounded leg.
"Goodnight." He murmured. Mathew was on the verge of falling asleep when a faint sensation on his knee stirred him. He would've ignored it, but something was definitely touching him. He peeked and looked down. There was just enough light from the dwindling fire to see by. His eyes focused seeing the faint outline of his body and the bear. Without moving he glanced up. Ursa was vigilantly sitting beside him and looking over his body. He felt fur brush up his thigh, but a claw poked the sensitive skin of his masculinity. He froze, clearly feeling a padded furry hand cup his genitals and lift them up. Her other hand reached down and rested overtop, locking his genitals within the warm confines of her hands. She held his package so carefully, as if a single scratch would harm her more than Mathew. Ursa closed her eyes and cleared her throat. The softness and smoothness of her voice nearly set the human in a trance.
"Nature, the giver,
all knowing, and mystical.
Grant this youth fertility
and let him find a fertile mate."
The chant reminded him of a lullaby. The shaman repeated the lines three times, and carefully set his genitals down when she finished. Ursa snuggled up to him as if nothing strange had happened. Mathew uneasily fell asleep in her warm embrace.
The following morning was quiet. Mathew was oddly nervous about what happened last night. He didn't mind the nudity because she was naked, but secret touching was definitely off limits despite all that she has done for him.
"Something is on your mind." The bear knowingly stated without turning her head.
"Um..." He found the topic awkward to talk about. "Why did you hold my... Uh. Stuff?"
"You were awake?" She said in mild surprise.
"Yes... " He admitted. Her ears folded back briefly.
"I hummed a fertility chant."
"Oh." He replied. "What is a fertility chant?" For once, she seemed nervous to answer a question.
"It's meant to make a someone more fertile. You mentioned yesterday about seeking a mate, and I wanted to sing the chant to help you start a family."
"Thanks... I guess." He wasn't sure to take it as a compliment or not. "Have you touched me like that before while I slept?"
"No! Only to check your wounds." She truthfully spoke. The embarrassment was mutual, and the passing silence didn't help. "You go sit in the sunlight while I change the bedding." She swiftly shooed him out of the cave. Mathew obliged and went to the front. He waited for his eyes to adjust to the bright sunlight before sitting outside.
'Why would she do that?' He watched her dig up the bedding from outside, but was unable to think of an answer. To his surprise, he wasn't angry while he watched her. The big bear was hard at work digging everything out into a neat pile. The human curiously looked around the cave entrance. He overturned small rocks and looked into the forest. She wouldn't allow him to walk out of her sight just yet. "Do you need any help?" He asked.
"No." She called from inside. "You stay in the sunlight for a while." The human dawdled around and even sunned his back to pass the boredom. Ursa came outside a few minutes later with a big armload of old reeds, straw, and bracken. She dumped the pile around the cave before heading towards the forest.
"Where are you going?" Mathew stood up.
"I am going into the forest to meditate, and collect fresh bedding." She answered.
'But we are already in the forest...' He thought to himself and watched the bear walk away into the trees.
"You can come if you want." She offered and paused to look over her shoulder. Mathew thought for a moment before accompanying the shaman. He walked alongside her through the forest. Neither said anything. Ursa stopped at a small clearing where some moss and grass grew in the center. The shaman sat down in an upright pose and closed her eyes. Mathew sat down beside her.
"So..." He began, but Ursa placed a hand on his shoulder before returning to her calm pose. He looked around the peaceful forest. 'It is peaceful here.' He noted the tall silent trees, little noises of the forest wildlife, and subtle breeze that stirred a few leaves above. It was very different from the noisy life of a port city, or even the small farming town where he was from. He peeked over at the mature bear. She definitely reminded him of a matron. Tall, strong, and almost overly caring. The reason tribes liked to distinguish between a male chief and a female with the title matron was because of a combination of things. A matron was believed to care for the entire tribe as a mother with ferocious strength. Ursa proudly possessed the strength from her larger build. Mathew sat up straight and mimicked her stoic pose.
'Meditate like this.' He thought to himself and concentrated on the forest around him.
"Mathew." A sudden voice spoke.
"Huh?" The human jumped from his seat. Ursa giggled and offered her hand to him.
"We can go. I'm finished" She helped him up. "Unless you aren't done yet."
"Thanks... Is this how you stop yourself from getting angry at me?"
"Why would I be angry with you?" Ursa teased.
"Swatting your hand for starters..."
"It's fine. You didn't want to be touched there anyway." She reasoned.
"At least you had good intent both times." He forgave her. They ducked under a low hanging branch together. "So... What are we going to do about the old bedding?" Mathew asked. The shaman halted.
"We need new bedding!" Ursa clapped her hands together. The bear quickly veered to their right. "Thank you for reminding me Mathew." They walked through a different part of the forest for a while. Ursa brought him to the edge of a field surrounded by trees. It was roughly one hundred yards long and maybe half as wide.
"Where are we?"
"An old abandoned field." She explained. "Wheat was once grown here for a village not too far away, but no one has farmed it in years because it's hard to maintain." She walked into the field and picked a stalk. "We need a bunch of these." The bear handed it to Mathew. They began picking stalks of the wild strain together and collecting them into two piles. Mathew glanced from the corner of his eyes occasionally, and watched Ursa bend forward to pluck the wheat. Mathew snickered to himself at how her breasts, and to a lesser extent her belly, jiggled from the hunched over shuffling motion. Even though the bear was far stronger than him, her large breasts gave her a softer feminine appearance. However, his muffled chuckles didn't fall on deaf ears.
"Ah!" He jumped feeling something harmlessly swat his rear. Mathew turned around and found Ursa holding back a laugh with a bundle of wheat stalks in her hand. A spry smile erupted long his face. He grabbed a bundle of stalks and attacked. "I'll get you for that!" He swatted only for her to block most of his harmless hits. The bear laughed as he chased her. Mathew swatted her sides only for the bear to turn around and chase him. Time quickly passed as they played like two little cubs until they tired out.
"Oh goodness..." She panted with a hearty smile. "That was so much fun."
"I think you wore me out." Mathew bent forward and caught his breath.
"I might be big, but I can move." She confidently placed her hands on her hips.
"Yeah. You got me more times than I could get you." He chuckled.
"Alright. Let's finish gathering all that we need." Ursa walked back into the field. Mathew followed the bear and resumed picking. After a good hour they ended up with a large pile between themselves.
"Should we make a second trip?"
"Nonsense. We can gather the rest." She insisted and loaded the human's arms. Mathew lowered his arms and Ursa dropped more into his bundle. The human could barely see over it all, and there was plenty left for the shaman to carry. "Thank you so much for helping!" She hugged Mathew tightly.
"You're welcome." He smiled despite the tight squeeze. Ursa managed to gather the rest of the giant load.
"Follow me." She could barely see over her pile too. He followed the naked bear back to the cave entrance with a few stumbles along the way. The sun was already setting when they finished spreading the material out in the grass. Crickets were already singing their rustic melodies for the night.
"There." Ursa wiped her front clean. "We will have plenty of bedding for the summer."
"Are we sleeping on the bare cave floor tonight?"
"Since it's warmer and the new bedding has to dry, do you want to sleep outside?" Ursa offered.
"If it's better than sleeping on the cave floor, and you warn me before doing a fertility chant." The bear laughed.
"I'll ask next time!" She promised. They laid down together out by the cave entrance in the grass and moss. The vast sky was open to them with a road map of stars glittering like silver dust.
"Why do you think the stars are up there?" He asked.
"There's a tale about how they managed to get into the sky." She mentioned.
"Really?"
"Mmhm." She nodded. "Long ago the sky would only be pitch black during nighttime, but one day the village of stars decided to find mates. They travelled across many villages and were mated to the most beautiful and handsome villagers. Cats, foxes, canines, badgers, and bears." Ursa pointed to herself. "However, other people from those villages were jealous because they wanted them as mates. So the stars escaped with their mates to the sky and remained there ever since. My mother always told me that if two people eloped, one of them was a star and would carry their mate to the sky with them." Ursa fondly recalled.
"So that's why there are many animal shapes in the night sky?"
"Yes. There are even two bear sisters. A big bear and a little bear." She pointed up with a claw.
"It's hard to imagine that there's a little bear in the sky." She chuckled at his joke.
"What? I was once a small bear." Ursa reminded him.
"I believe you." His voice teased with obvious doubt. Ursa chuckled some more and tapped him with a hand. "I liked that tale."
"Me too. It's a good one." They contently stared at the sky.
"Hey, Ursa."
"Hmm?" She hummed.
"What do you meditate about?"
"Nature." She simply answered.
"Nature? How?" He wondered.
"I'll have to teach you someday." She thought aloud. They silently listened to the crickets around them. The forest was peaceful and quiet compared to a human town. Yet, how he ended up in the shaman's care was anything but peaceful. Ursa stretched her legs out with a near silent sigh. "Goodnight Mathew. Sleep well." She closed her eyes.
"Goodnight." He continued to stare into the starlit sky. Each one twinkled down at him.
'That would be be funny if her story was true...' Mathew grinned at the little tribal story. A gentle breeze passed and he folded his arms. It wasn't cold, but the air was cool enough to remind him that he wasn't wearing anything. Mathew looked over at Ursa. She didn't have to worry about the cold unless it was the dead of winter. After sleeping snuggled up to her for over a week, he missed the bear's fuzzy body heat. He rolled over and faced the female bear. Ursa opened her eyes feeling an arm rest over her chest, and a leg hook over her leg. The human's smaller body snuggled cozily up to her side. She watched his head rest on her shoulder. "Cold?" She closed her eyes once again.
"Mm." He gave a neutral hum. Ursa placed a protective hand on his side and went to sleep.
Mathew whittled a stick with Ursa's hunting knife. He was alone in the cave for the afternoon. The ascetic bear had left to collect root vegetables which was something the human couldn't assist her very well in. He brushed some loose hair from his eyes. The human's hair had grown over the course of his stay. Mathew brushed the wood shaving soft his lap and legs before standing up in a stretch.
'Bathroom.' He walked outside and around the cave to relieve himself. But the human walked back to the cave entrance and found himself facing a black furred wolf.
"Hello." The young canine introduced himself.
"Hi." Mathew looked over the slender tribal canine. It was the first time that he had seen someone other than Ursa in weeks. The wolf was dressed in tribal attire like those who chased him. An armband, two anklets, feathers decorating two long braids, a small and large necklace, and a quiver slung over his back. He also noticed the bow carrying wolf was wearing a loincloth too. 'I'm naked!' Mathew quickly covered himself. The wolf laughed at the human's sudden embarrassment. He uncovered himself realizing how stupid he must've looked.
"Hello. I am Upisu, a friend of Ursa's." The canine reintroduced himself. "Are you under the shaman's care?" He asked.
"Yes."
"I thought so." Upisu chuckled. "You would be wearing something otherwise."
"Are you looking for Ursa?"
"Yes." He peeked into the cave. "Is she out somewhere in the forest?"
"Gathering roots." Mathew nodded with a grin.
"Sounds about right. Anyway, I came by to give her another bow and full quiver." He set the aforementioned items by the cave entrance. "She broke her last bow."
"Broke it?" Mathew raised his brow.
"It was ten years old, and Ursa has a strong drawing arm." Upisu rubbed his neck. "We may see each other in the forest again. Take care." The wolf said farewell.
"Bye." He watched the black wolf disappear into the trees. The human looked at the hunting equipment that the wolf left for Ursa. The quiver was made out of bark and buckskin. Each arrow was handmade with stone arrowheads. "Shouldn't be too hard..." Mathew picked up the grand bow. He had difficulty drawing the bow back, but managed after some practice. "I'm a little out of shape." Mathew rotated his shoulders and wrists. 'How long has it been since I picked up a bow anyway?' He wondered. Hunting with a bow was common even in a few human towns not too far away.
"I'm back!" Ursa called from the tree line and approached the cave. A bunch of root vegetables were in her arms.
"A young wolf stopped by looking for you. His name was Upisu."
"Upisu came by?" She looked around as if the wolf was still there.
"He gave a bow and quiver full of arrows to you." Mathew pointed to the items by the cave wall.
"Ah! I'll have to thank that wolf whenever I see him in the forest." She smiled gleefully and brought the items inside. "I see you were busy." Ursa sat down and saw a sharpened stick.
"More or less." He shrugged and watched the shaman prepare the root vegetables. "Do you mind if I use your bow?"
"Not at all!" She motioned to the item with her quiver full of arrows. "Are you going to practice shooting or hunting?"
"I'd like to hunt with it." He held the weapon firmly in his hand. "It's the least at I can do to her repay you for all that you've selflessly done for me."
"Don't let me stop you." She chuckled. "I appreciate it." She returned to cutting the roots. She watched out of the corner of her eyes as Mathew scrounged around the cave walls for something. "Looking for something else?"
"Where are my clothes?" He looked around the cave for them.
"You cannot go hunting with any clothing." Ursa told him.
"That's ridiculous-" A hand caught him.
"This is no joke Mathew." She told him with seriousness in her brown eyes. "Only a shaman is permitted to hunt in a sacred forest."
"But I am not a shaman!"
"That is true, but you are under my protection here. The moment you dress yourself, you are no longer under my care."
"Oh." He awkwardly shifted. "Can I still see them?" Ursa nodded and padded over to a small divot in the cave wall. Her arms reached in and pulled something out. She returned with only a shirt and cloth in hand. Mathew looked over his shirt keenly. It smelled musty, had tears and stains of blood, but it was still his shirt. "Where are my pants?"
"I tore some of them to make your bandages." She admitted and held them up next. The human's pants resembled one small unrecognizable piece of fabric with dozens of loose threads.
"I can't leave if I don't have a pair of clothes." He stared at the intact shirt.
"You can still hunt without them." She reminded him. Ursa's short ears turned back seeing how much he missed having them. "I will ask someone if they can give me a set of clothes for you." She quietly offered.
"Ok. I'll go and hunt then." He quietly walked out of the cave.
"Good luck." She called out. Mathew trekked into the large forest. He was disappointed that Ursa had used his clothes, but surprisingly it hardly bothered him.
'At least they served a good purpose.' He glanced at the faint scar on his arm. Mathew didn't mind being naked in the forest if it meant that he could hunt. He could feel a breeze against his entire body, and the sun's rays warmed all of his skin rather than just his hands and face. The subtle bouncing between his legs was already a second nature sensation just like the sensation of the ground beneath his feet. Living with the female shaman was a neat experience to say the least. He didn't plan on leaving the cave yet, but now he wasn't sure when he could.
"Do I want to stay with her?" Mathew asked himself and looked around the seemingly endless trees. A rustle in the leaves nearby distracted him. The human looked around and made eye contact with a local red fox. The middle aged vulpine was dressed in a typical draping loincloth, various bracelets necklaces and anklets, and feathers adorning two braids of orange hair. His fluffy tail hung motionless between his legs. "Hello." He gave a small wave. The fox returned a similar wave and approached until he was a couple of meters away. His amber eyes were wide with fascination and caution.
"Are you the human who was caught hunting in this sacred forest?" He glanced at the obvious scars. Mathew gripped the bow tightly.
"Yes." He nodded. The fox's tail flicked up with intrigue.
"But you're hunting for the shaman, correct?"
"Yes." He nodded again. A faint grin emerged on the vulpine's muzzle.
"What you do is her responsibility." He seriously stated. "She fought hard to protect you from those wanting to kill you." Mathew blinked as the fox looked at him one final time before disappearing into the trees.
'Her responsibility?' He wondered what that could've meant.
***
Two hours passed before Mathew returned to the cave. Ursa looked up and spotted the human as he entered the cave. She gave a shy grin, and Mathew replied was an even bigger smile. He held up a big rabbit by the ears.
"Good catch!" She applauded him.
"This little rascal was tough to catch, but I managed." He handed it over. The shaman prepared it and had it cooking over a fire in no time. Mathew and Ursa ate together for the evening and remained by the fire as night fell. The low flames flickered with little pops and smacks above the churring crickets.
"I saw a fox." Mathew mentioned as he snapped a stick and tossed it into the flames.
"You did?" Ursa's brow lifted slightly in interest.
"Yes. Do you know him?"
"I know many foxes." She grinned. "What was his name."
"I didn't ask." He wished that he did. "But he told me that you fought hard to protect me. What did he mean?" Mathew searched the bear's expression for an answer. She wiggled her nose and thought to herself for a moment before answering.
"I found you in the forest," she pointed, "just as you collapsed to the ground. The others wanted to kill you because you broke a sacred law of hunting in the shaman's sacred area of the forest."
"I know that much." He nodded.
"I nearly had to fight them just to take you under my care. They finally relented after a lot of shouting. I even roared once." She rubbed her throat in remembrance. "Because they let me take you in, anything that you did from then on was my sole responsibility. Some were angry, and others thought I was giving you a good second chance at life."
"I didn't know that you went through all that just to bring me here." Mathew said.
"Yes. And I'm glad that I did." She grinned and patted his leg. They stayed around the fire until it burned out. "I'm going in." Ursa lazily stretched. The bear stood up and walked past him into the cave. Mathew soon heard the bedding rustle from Ursa laying down and getting ready for bed. He looked around the familiar cave entrance. All of the rocks were in their normal positions, the grass and trees were still the same, and the smoke from the fire trailed into the night sky the way it always had. His eyes looked over his naked body that was accustomed to its own nakedness now. Faint scars remained where he once nearly bled to death. His hand trailed over the one on his side.
'Should I be familiar with all of this?' He thought to himself. Fate was something he never pondered about, simply because of all the possible paths it could lead him.
"Coming to bed?" Ursa's voice echoed from inside the cave.
"In just a minute." He answered and watched the last wisp of smoke journey into the night sky.
The warm summer air was accompanied with a breeze as it rustled the trees outside a hidden cave. Ursa and Mathew were facing each other in the cave with a large pile of walnuts between them. They busily cracked the shells and tossed the precious insides into the bear's cooking pot full of water. A basic soup was on the menu for later. The sight of the man and bear together had become a common one. They did almost everything together: hunt, forage, bathe, meditate, eat, and of course sleep. Man and bear were practically inseparable. Ursa wiped her hands and stood up.
"Bathroom?" Mathew guessed as she brushed bits of shell out of her fur.
"Yes, but I also need to collect some wild onions."
"Good luck catching them." He humored her.
"Thanks." Ursa giggled. "I'll be right back." She promised and left. Fluffy clouds gave the blue sky an active scenery, possibly forecasting rain later for the day. Birds filled the air with sweet chirping melodies, and they inspired the shaman to join along. Ursa hummed a traditional chant while she walked through the forest. The bear was in a good mood, and she knew it. Ever since Mathew came into her caring hands, the forest and life itself seemed to shine more radiantly than before. At first it was odd adjusting to having someone else around, but after the initial awkwardness she loved the human's company.
"Hmm hum hum." The bear began to cheerfully hum while she looked around for elusive onions. They seemed to grow in the oddest of places to the bear. She hunched over an data rated to pull one out of the ground.
"Ursa?" The bear looked up and spotted a familiar face peeking around a nearby tree.
"Well, hello Tanto!" She immediately embraced the red fox. He was around her age wearing traditional tribal garments.
"You're rather happy today." He patted her back and undid the friendly greeting.
"Why wouldn't I be?" She giggled.
"You remind me of your old chipper adolescent self." The fox smiled. "How has the spring been going?"
"Eventful, but very well. Mathew and I are preparing a pot of soup at the cave." Se pointed over her shoulder.
"He is still with you?" The fox was surprised. "It's been over two months."
"Yes."
"Hasn't he healed? I saw him hunting the other day with your bow."
"Mostly..." Her response tapered off.
"It sounds like you are keeping him with you." Chanuxtla couldn't help but say.
"No. He can leave whenever he wants." Ursa placed a hand on her hip.
"Then why was he still naked?"
"Mathew doesn't complain about it."
"Has he chosen to stay with you and become your mate?" Chanuxtla inquired. Ursa pursed her lips and looked away at the ground. To be a shaman's mate was a high honor in tribal life. You could choose to cast away all material possessions and live with him or her in the secluded forests; or just as difficult, stay in the tribe and visit maybe once a year. The moment of silence made the bear uneasy. "Has he at least shown any interest?" The fox pressed her for an answer.
"A little." She hopefully replied. The shaman knew that she would have to ask Mathew about staying sooner or later, but she didn't want to force an answer. The vulpine brushed a paw over the ground.
"I'm glad that you're doing well." The red fox grinned and changed the conversation. "I trust that he is making you happy." Chanuxtla warmly spoke. A little grin formed along the shaman's muzzle.
"Enough about me." Her happy demeanor returned. "How have have you been? Is your mate doing alright?" The questions caught him off guard.
"It was easier talking about you!" He laughed.
"I'm back!" Ursa's voice echoed into the cave. Mathew crept out and sat down with her by the entrance. The bear was carrying a half dozen shallots in one hand, and a large honey comb dripping with golden drops in the other.
"Where did you find that?" He eyed the sweet treat.
"Mm." She took a lick and split half for him. "I found the honey comb earlier this week when we split up during a hunt.
"Thank you." He gratefully accepted and took a bite. The thick and rich taste filled his mouth. Anything sweet was a luxury, tribal or human. "What else happened in the forest?"
"I met an old friend of mine." She began.
"Someone from your village?"
"Yes. He'a an old fox around my age..." The bear's voice suddenly left her. "Oh! I forgot to ask about finding you some clothes!" She suddenly remembered. "Sorry about that Mathew." The bear clacked her teeth in frustration. Mathew patted her back.
"It's alright. Maybe next time." He didn't sound too disappointed.
"I don't think I would recognize you with them." She chuckled.
"That's probably true."
"Anyway, we talked about all sorts of things."
"I reminded him of all the trouble we got into when we were little." She grinned.
"I can only imagine..." Mathew wondered.
"I have plenty of tales to tell you then." Her brown eyes twinkled at him. "We put a snake skin in an elder's hut to scare them." Ursa chuckled. "I have never seen an elder raccoon jump so high in my life!" They laughed even as the honey dripped from their hands.
***
Later, during nightfall, the two were still sitting by a dwindling fire. They were snuggled close together, an arm apiece around each other. Full bellies and an empty cooking pot rested beside the crackling fire. The orange flames flickered as they always had.
"What a great day." Ursa sighed contently.
"You've been saying that a lot lately."
"Are you saying it's not true?" She gave his shoulder a playful squeeze.
"No. I couldn't agree with you more." He leaned on her comfy shoulder. Ursa couldn't wipe the grin off her muzzle if she wanted to. Sitting with Mathew by the fire was a moment that she cherished dearly.
"Mathew... Mathew?" She looked at him suddenly open his eyes.
"Huh? Oh. I'm tired." He yawned.
"You get to bed. I'll put the fire out before I join you." She offered with a quick nuzzle. He nodded with a protracted yawn and crept back into the cave. The bedding rustled as he made himself comfortable inside. Ursa busily put the fire out by the cave's entrance. She placed a final handful of dirt over the fire, and wiped her hands. "That's done." Her gaze drew up with the last curl of smoke to the night sky. The stars twinkled down at her like morning dewdrops. She smiled and went inside. Ursa sat down in the bedding and fondly watched the sleeping human. She thought about when she first found him, compared to now. He was almost a chore to tend to. Cleaning his wounds, answering endless questions, and giving him a place to stay. Now he was healthy and by her side for nearly every hour.
'He doesn't have a place to go.' She couldn't help but grin at the thought. 'But I have a place for him here.' Ursa placed a hand over the scar on his torso. There certainly wasn't much holding him back from leaving. Despite the lack of clothes, he could've worn any tribal garment until reaching a human town. Truthfully she didn't want him to leave, but that was a decision that Mathew would eventually have to make. Ursa laid down with the human and wrapped him up in her protective embrace. Their body heat mingled as she snuggled with him.
'Aww.' Her heart melted when he unconsciously snuggled closer to her. She held him close and wanted to dream of sweet things.
Mathew walked through the forest and back to the cave with a noticeable spring in his step. Even though the human hadn't worn clothes for the past ten weeks, his own nakedness became normal for him. Although, to keep a fond memory Mathew kept his shirt folded in a secure nook inside the cave wall. A breeze passed causing small branches to subtly sway, leaves rustle, and the human's hair to ruffle. Normally he would pause for a moment to look around the beautiful forest, but more important things were on his mind. He could feel a different tone in the air, and it wasn't because summer had started. Ursa was on his mind a lot. She was acting a little giddy, nervous, but overwhelmingly happy around him. It made him happy. He walked through the tree line where the cave entrance was suddenly visible. The rounded opening in the cliff face was noticeable from every angle, and Ursa was sitting contently on a boulder by the entrance. A woven green grass necklace adorned her otherwise naked body. The little adornment caught his eye. Mathew had rarely seen the shaman wear anything whether it was a feather in her wavy hair, or an anklet made from cattails.
"I'm back from walking around." He walked up to the shaman.
"Good. Sit in front of me." She craned her neck up and licked his cheek. Mathew nuzzled her in return and sat down in front of the busy bear. "Hm. Mm mm." Ursa hummed rhythmically while wearing a pleasant grin across her brown muzzle. Mathew curiously watched her, not sure what to expect. Maybe a chant for something spiritual? She placed her hands on his shoulders and lightly rubbed. Her supple black pads felt wonderful on his skin, and the human melted into her touch.
"Ok. You're definitely planning something." Mathew spoke up. Ursa stopped rubbing his shoulders and looked at him.
"I need to ask you something Mathew." She started out.
"Then ask me." He grinned.
"Are you planning on leaving the cave soon?" The grin left his face.
"No. Why? Do you want me to leave?" He looked up at her. The bear gave a sigh of relief.
"No! It's good that you want to stay." She blurted out only to bite her lip.
"Good?"
"I mean. I..." Ursa took a deep breath and began. "I want you to stay here with me." The shaman grinned.
"Stay with you?" He dumbly repeated her.
"Yes." She nodded and held his hands. "And become my mate. I enjoy having you with me every day, and I don't want you to leave." The bear searched his face for a reaction. The silence was deafening. A smile emerged on the human's face.
"I like you too Ursa. I'd be happy to stay with you, and be your mate." His words made her entire body excitedly tingle.
"Y-you will stay?!" She was shocked.
"Is it alright if I do?" He voiced genuine concern.
"Yes! It's wonderful!" The bear beamed a grand smile. The human was unprepared as she leaned forward and curiously licked his lips. Her large breasts swung lightly from the sudden move and tapped him out of his stupor.
"Uh..." He blinked and watched her pink tongue slip back into her muzzle.
"Sorry! I'm excited." She admitted like an adolescent.
"You normally act your age." He teased.
"At least I look my age." Ursa patted her front.
"You look beautiful." Mathew reached forward and gently rubbed her pudgy tummy. Her ears fell back sweetly at the compliment. She liked his gentle touch. This time Mathew leaned forward first and Ursa met him in the middle. Their second kiss connected smoothly. Their lips parted and smooched, allowing their tongues to play together in a dance of entwining intimacy. Hands joined the sensual dance and explored their partner's body. Light rubs, exhales, and soft smooches whispered throughout the cave.
"Mm." Both would hum occasionally to another's advance. Mathew reached up and rubbed the little nicks along the edge of her ear while her hands rubbed his back. They finally parted and dreamily stared while their hands continued caressing. Time seemed to stand still as their feelings guided them.
"What makes us mates?" He asked.
"Well..." Her brown eyes lowered to his lap, and her hand followed. "We mate." She combed through his patch of "fur" and brushed her fingers over his flaccid length. Mathew parted from the kiss feeling her hand wrapped around his growing member and gently manipulate it.
"Ohh." He sighed and rolled his hips. Ursa grinned at the positive reaction. "You like?"
"Your pads are so soft." He watched her hand stroke his shaft. To his dismay she stopped. He looked up into her mischievous brown eyes. "You stopped." His member throbbed with part of its glans buried in her soft tummy fur.
"Why not... something softer?" She tempted him and licked her lips. A hand nudged Mathew to his back, and the shaman situated herself between his legs. Her eyes looked at his phallus standing proudly before her. "Let me warm you." She grabbed her breasts and buried his member between them. Ursa didn't wait and began rubbing them up and down his shaft. Mathew tensed and clenched his teeth feeling the fuzzy fur caress him.
"Ah! Ursa!" He felt an impending climax only for her breasts to suddenly be pulled away. Mathew shuddered for a moment and felt his length jerk only to remain on edge. He gave Ursa a quizzical look, but the bear didn't plan on making him wait any longer. She closed her eyes and gently pressed her nose against his balls. Mathew thought she was going to say a chant, but she breathed in his intimate scent and gave a full lick from base to tip. The bear's broad and smooth tongue sent a ripple of warm pleasure up his body. Mathew groaned and tried gripping the cave floor below. Ursa's grin widened as she lapped his sensitive underside. One hand curled through the bushy patch of "fur" above and the other coddled his balls below. The bear raised her head and swiped around his glans, but she didn't stop there. Mathew watched as she took his entire length into her muzzle and sealed her lips around his base. Her damp black nose chuffed at the patch of black hairs. She resumed suckling and lapping his member with renewed vigor. The soft nibbles and licks in the bear's hot wet maw drove the human insane.
"Don't stop!" He bawled out passionately. Ursa helped hold his legs down from bucking or kicking. The tension grew and grew until his back arched off the cave floor. An elated cry echoed throughout the cave as he was coaxed over the path of no return. A blissful moment passed with fast breathing as the tension was released. The bear let him slip out of her muzzle when he was done. Mathew was breathing deeply with a goofy expression. A proud smile enveloped her muzzle seeing how much pleasure she gave her mate. Ursa lightly rubbed his torso while his length returned to its flaccid state.
"You look happy." She observed his serene facial expression. He grinned at his mate and reached out for her. Ursa helped Mathew sit up and wrapped him into a close hug, pressing their bodies together. He nuzzled the big bear's bosom and held her close. The short fur warmed his body cozily. Ursa let him relax for a minute in her protective arms. "You look so adorable in my arms like this." She whispered to him. Mathew's head was nudged back and a pair of warm thin lips pressed against his own. The damp nose gave the human a dual sensation of cold above hot.
"Mm... Ursa." He said between the kiss.
"Sh... I want to love you." She smiled and continued loving him. Her hands caressed his cheeks and cradled his head while her tongue played inside his mouth. The minutes passed slowly, just as they wanted. A little trail of saliva connected them when they finally parted. Eyes dreamily stared at the other, never feeling more loved or happier before. It took the human a minute to regain his bearings from his orgasmic plateau.
"Thanks." He didn't know what else to say and rubbed the bear's sides.
"You're more than welcome." She nuzzled his cheek and parted with a lick to his forehead. Mathew reached up and traced over her shoulders before trailing his hands down her large breasts. Now it was his turn to shower her with love. He cupped both breasts and lightly caressed the soft tissue. They were firmer than he once thought, and sagged because of their own size and age. Ursa watched him rub and gently grope her busty chest generously.
"I'm surprised that you haven't done this earlier." She grinned and nuzzled his cheek.
"I already use them as pillows and blankets." He teased and began focusing on the bear's large nipples. A little thrill ran up her core when he lightly pinched and rubbed them. Mathew could feel the fat flesh harden between his fingers.
"Ooohh!" She sweetly moaned when he struck her nerves just right. The bear's little tail wagged excitedly as he gently tweaked and caressed her nipples perfectly. Ursa felt a tingling warmth in her nether regions the longer he continued. Mathew lifted both big breasts and let them drop down with a silent slap.
"Do you want to continue..." His hand slipped down and traced a over her furry womanhood. "With something more intimate?" His silky smooth words made her body tingle erotically. The female bear scooted back and turned around before dropping to all fours. Her lovely smiling face peeked over a shoulder at him.
"How do you want to take me?" She seductively shook her chest, then rear.
"Every way." He all too readily admitted. The gleam in Ursa's eye told that she wanted him to fulfill such a promise. The female bear laid down on her side and rubbed her aroused sex enticingly. Mathew shuffled forward with his reemerged erection bobbing in front. He saddled Ursa's lower leg and lifted her leg up so that her foot was over his shoulder in the air. Despite the bear's size and middle age, she still retained her feminine flexibility. Her fuzzy fur tickled his balls as he moved into place, practically hugging her hiked leg. Mathew poked around her soft downy fur before slipping into her heated entrance.
"Mm." They both hummed as their hips grinned together to adjust.
"You're even warmer in here." He said in a low voice and caressed above her sex. She softly whined and rotated her hips. A more primal instinct kicked in. He pulled out slowly and rammed her to the hilt. She moaned as he pounded her slick entrance with loving vigor. The sight of his love moaning with such passion made him want to pleasure her all the more. Her toes curled and splayed as her body rocked back and forth. Each passing thrust made the warm arousal in her sex grow. Ursa's groans and moans echoed throughout the little cave.
"Oh! OH! Mathew!" Her back seized and arched suddenly. Ursa burst into a guttural roar. Thick claws scraped against the cave floor seeking purchase. Her body was racked with the best climax of her life while Mathew continued pounding her heated sex. He held onto her top leg and thrusted one final time before reaching a climax of his own. "Ooh! Oooh." Her lingering little coos dwarfed any noise that Mathew made. He generously rubbed Ursa's leg as he finished. The bear's openly splayed smile made him happy.
"Are you finished?" He hummed. She rolled her eyes and pointed at him. He slipped out and lowered her leg only for both to hook around his back. Ursa rolled onto her back and looked up at him with a radiant smile that showed off plenty of teeth. Burly arms grabbed his sides and pulled him down on top of her. The bear's soft fur was a welcome sensation on Mathew's bare skin as they cuddled. Her embrace was so warm, and so welcoming. She held him close, lightly shuddering from time to time.
"Oh my..." Ursa's muzzle curled into a big smile. "That was beautiful, Mathew." She whispered. He leaned forward and kissed her. Ursa's tongue licked over his mouth in a wet smooch. Mathew rested his head on her bosom, and basked in a lovely afterglow together. Her earthy scent filled his olfactory.
"I love you Ursa." He hummed and caressed her furry cheek. She leaned into his touch appreciatively.
"Oh. Say it again Mathew." She beckoned.
"I love you." He nuzzled her chest. The bear craned forward and licked his forehead before resting back.
"I love you too." She softly spoke, meaning every word. Mathew beamed a proud smile.
"What do you want to do now?" He asked. "It's only the afternoon."
"You." They both giggled.
"All day?" He teased.
"No. Every day." Ursa rubbed his back. "But I want to cuddle for now."
"That sounds good." Mathew ran his hands through her fur. "You're warm and-"
"Big?" She smiled.
"Yes. Because you have a big heart." He sweetly kissed the center of her chest. "And there's so much to love." Deep in the sacred forest love had bloomed, and beautifully embraced. The sun outside shined brightly without a cloud in sight, just like their love for each other. The shaman's cave wouldn't be lonely anymore.
