Goldeneyes Chapter 4
#4 of Goldeneyes
Chapter 4
The early morning dawn was coming, and it's warm glow began to light the hillside that nestled the Brightwing home.
Eleanor lay in her bed, a romance novel held close to her face. She breathlessly flipped the pages, totally immersed in the story. The book was about a beautiful feral tiger who fell in love with a lovely equine mare from the city. And in the light of her reading lamp Eleanor read to one of the book's steamy love scenes. Eleanor lay back on her wings, holding the book tightly. She felt her breath coming in quick gasps as the fictional couple consummated their love.
A warm bloom began to radiate from Eleanor's belly, and she moved her hips in slow circles as the tiger came inside his equine bride to be. The warm bloom became a hot fire, burning intensely inside Eleanor. Panting, Eleanor put the book aside and put her hands on her belly. "Oh, Tristan..." Eleanor gasped, "How I miss you so." The golden lady clasped her hands over her burning passion as the early morning sun began to light her chamber.
Far across the valley of the Sanvean, the morning sun touched another. A golden eagle stood at his chamber's rails, watching the colors of the day chase away the darkness. He stretched and ran his taloned hands over his chest and down to his belly, then down to his rampant member, sliding his fingers over it's length. He let out a wistful sigh.
From within his apartment, he heard the stirrings of his daughters, and quickly cooled his passions. Soon, they would be up and readying themselves for their studies within other areas of the avian temple. He took up a book of poetry, then set it down, his desires slow in simmering. "I must work to remedy my isolation," he thought. "Lest I take up the reading of romance novels."

Back in the Brightwing home, Hector woke to the sound of Shelton starting the shower. The pony came back into the bedroom and tugged on the eagle's toe claws, "Hey sleepy bird, I want to have a good taste before we leave for the trip." Hector smiled, "I intend to give you many tastes while we are away." Smiling, the eagle rose and joined Shelton in the shower.
This was becoming a favorite ritual, and the eagle loved it. The shower was a small tiled room, with an open wall at one end. The two stepped inside, and Hector leaned against the far wall under the shower stream. Shelton meekly lowered himself before the eagle, and put his face to the tile floor. He began to gently kiss Hector's feet. Shelton slowly suckled the eagle's toes, and breathed soft words of love and worship. "Oh, Shelton... sweetheart..." Hector breathed, burying his face in his upraised arms.
Making his way up Hector's legs, Shelton brushed his lips over the eagle's feathered knees. And when Shelton reached the bare skin of his upper thighs, he pressed his lips close. Breathing deep of the eagle's scent. Hector squatted slightly, spreading his legs. And sighing, Shelton pressed his lips against Hector's bare groin. Hector struggled to contain his erection, because Shelton's lips felt wonderful against the folds of his vent. Utterly worshiping the eagle, Shelton then began to kiss and lick the eagle's bare cloaca.
Shelton relished the taste of the swollen lips of Hector's vent, it was the most exotic sex he had ever experienced. The pony made a seal with his lips, and began thrusting his long tongue inside of Hector's body. Shelton's tongue brushed over the stiffening tip of hector's penis as he worked. Finally, Hector could not contain his member anylonger, and it pushed out of his vent into Shelton's mouth. Shelton sucked Hector's cock as it began to lengthen, making groans of pleasure as the eagle's taste came across his tongue. The pony kept his lips tightly pressed against Hector's body, letting the huge member slide deep into his throat as it reached it's full size.
Hector gently bucked his hips, and the muscles of his belly flexed and tensed. Shelton knew it wouldn't be long. Hector braced his arms on the shower walls, and began to gasp. Then threw his head back and cried out. His orgasm suddenly streamed into Shelton's throat, but the pony was ready. The many sessions with the eagle had made him practiced in taking Hector's massive ejaculations. Shelton groaned as he took Hector's seed, struggling to keep from gagging as the eagle's penis thrummed deep down inside him.
In Virgil's room, he heard Hector's cry of passion. The bald eagle smiled, and remembered his times of giving Hector his needed sexual release. Shelly stirred next to him, and he held her close. He was happy that Hector had found his ideal partner, just as the bald eagle had found his own lovely wife to be. He gently pecked Shelly's cheek, and the mare smiled sweetly. Virgil wondered if the upcoming trip they were to take was the wisest thing they should do for Hector. But Eleanor seemed to feel that it was the best thing for the harpy to face his inner demons, and finally put his past to rest.
Shelton emerged from the shower, and wrapped a towel around his head. Checking to see if Hector was looking, he retrieved a box from under the bed. He placed a new leather bikini thong on the bed, and grinned excitedly. Shelton had purchased this new posing strap for Hector hoping it would encourage the eagle to follow through with his pledge to become an exotic dancer at Hamburger Mary's. Virgil was an accomplished dramatic actor and dancer, and Hector had followed his friend's lead. Becoming a very skilled dancer in his own right. But his style incorporated many more gymnastic moves, perfect for a smokey exotic performer.
Hector emerged from the shower minutes later, his feathers held in a great rousing poof as he dried his skin. Shelton couldn't help but smiling, as the display made the fearsome looking eagle seem quite cute and cuddly. When he saw the new leather thong, he let out a happy cry. Virgil smiled and Shelly giggled as they heard the harpy eagle from their room. "It's a good thing those two shall be taking up residence in your former home," Virgil said as Shelly ran her fingers over the feathers of his tight belly. "Well," Shelly cooed, "It will be up to us to make sure the house does not get too quiet."
Shelly then rose, and groomed herself at her nightstand. Preparing for her day. Virgil watched his mate, he couldn't wait for their wedding day. He was nervous about being a father. But he was happy his own father would have a grandson. Just then Virgil remembered that the baby would not be a normal bald eagle. But no matter, Virgil thought. He knew his father would love the child, no matter what. Shelly rose, and brushed her hand over Virgil's chest. She moved outside to the gallery railing and spread her arms. Virgil slipped up behind her and took her in his powerful arms and spread his wings. He nuzzled her cheek before he leapt over the railing, landing gently thirty feet below.
"I feel like I have wings." Shelly whispered.
From the kitchen the pair heard Eleanor merrily humming, preparing breakfast. Just then, Virgil was struck with a memory. Being here, in this very gallery. Shyly bidding the lady Eleanor good morning. Awed by the regal lady's authority. Now he heard his childhood idol merrily preparing him breakfast, with his new family. It was a warm circle, and Virgil smiled broadly.
As the household settled down to breakfast, Eleanor ran her fingers through Hector's crest. She smiled to him, and placed his tray of raw meat before him. Hector always ate his food raw, while Eleanor's golden eagle sons ate theirs smoked from an outdoor oven with a seasoned marinade. Virgil would reach over and pilfer some of Hector's raw morsels, but he also preferred lightly cooked meats. The horses ate their oats and grains for breakfast, and breads and meats for their evening meals.
All drank light wines, and mountain water to wash their food down. Hector leaned back in his chair, and threw his head back. Opening his maw, he took a large loaf of meat in each hand and shoved them into his throat. Jonathan giggled as Hector snapped his beak shut after shoving the meat down. Virgil swatted the back of Hector's head.
Eleanor smiled, "I see no need for strict table manners, except when company is afoot. Like the company we will keep when you return from your journey!" she said.
Virgil had a wistful look on his face, and Eleanor touched his hand, "It will be good to see your parents again Virgil." she said, smiling. Shelton looked at Shelly, and made a sad sort of smile. The ponies didn't have anyone they could think of to invite to the wedding. Just then both realized, "Oh! The lion Rakim!" the ponies said in unison. Eleanor smiled, "Yes, the helpful cat who helped bring you into my life, and who did so much for you. We shall have a special place for him."
Ashley fidgeted, and then finally said to Hector, "Are you sure it is a good idea to go to your former woodland home? Does that place not harbor many painful memories for you?" Hector looked thoughtful, and Eleanor said to Ashley, "When your father died, I made a journey to the crash site. There were still pieces of the ruined aircraft in the field where I walked. But I felt closure there." Eleanor looked to Hector, "What you endured in the home of your birth is far more traumatic my sweet harpy, but I have every confidence you will overcome that painful past." Hector smiled, he loved it when Eleanor used flowery words of love. And he knew she was right. Sighing, he took another sip of his wine.
Finishing their meal, all of the avians grabbed a handful of small stones from the bowl on the table and swallowed them. Shelly caught herself reaching for the bowl, and Ashley grinned, "I think the avian part of you takes over from time to time." Shelly smiled, and Virgil patted her hand. Eleanor sensed something different about Shelly, and asked her, "How is your baby?"
Shelly touched her belly, "It's like something has changed, the baby seems to be taking on it's own personality. He moves almost constantly, it's amazing the change." Eleanor brushed her wing over Jonathan, "Avian mothers never feel their infants move within them. We only have their egg, which we pass. But then when our child's hatching time draws near, we will feel our baby move within the egg."
She smiled at Jonathan, "You were such a lovely baby, you had an entire feathery down when you hatched." Ashley careened his neck toward his mother, looking expectantly. Eleanor chuckled, "You were the little ugly duckling that became the lovely swan."
Shelton rose, and patted Hector. "Maybe we should go into town, and give Rakim our invitation? Maybe the Lion Ulan too." Hector nodded to Shelton, "Let us fly there, I need the exercise for the flight ahead." Hector went to his room, and gathered the leather harness to safely bear Shelton aloft with him. As he began to fix it about his shoulders Eleanor quietly entered and helped Hector fasten the straps over his wings. She placed her head on his shoulder, and the two looked at each other in the mirror.
"Always remember sweetheart," Eleanor said, "You have so much to offer. I am so happy to have you in my family." She slipped her arms around him, and the harpy closed his eyes, a wonderful expression of happiness on his face. "I love you Hector." Eleanor said softly.
The harpy soared in Eleanor's gentle motherly embrace. And she held him for a long moment before taking his hand, and leading him back out to the gallery.
Shelton put his motorcycle goggles around his neck, and was ready to depart. Eleanor drew near to him, and the pony opened his arms, seeing her motherly instincts in full bloom. He eagerly soaked up her love. Kissing her beak, Shelton took Hector's hand and the two stepped out into the garden. "We will be back later today Mom, we'll be here for dinner." Eleanor waved them off, and then made her way to her sons.
Seeing that they were next up for her intense motherly nurturing they grinned broadly and waived their wings. They did not understand what stirred their mother so, they guessed it was Shelly's new pregnancy. But their mother had begun acting like a young mother eagle again. She seemed to become the woman they remembered from their early youth. They were happy, but it seemed very out of character for the regal lady. But the brothers hugged their mother. Grateful for the warm love. Hoping it would last for as long as it could.

Across the forest of the Sanvean, the avians of the great temple began their day. And in his small chamber, Paul Silverstone woke from his nap. His two adopted daughters had already departed to begin their daily studies, and Paul made his way to the dining hall for a morning meal. His adopted daughters were in their second year of the central avian academy, and Paul lived with them in the small student chamber.
It had been a difficult transition for Paul Silverstone. Not just the tragic loss of his brother, and his sister in law. But also retiring from his position as a master of a sailing vessel, to step in and be the new father of his young nieces. Making his way into the large hall Paul took his tray and wooden bowls to gather his meats and insect morsels. Moving to another line he took a small bowl which had his daily requirement of gizzard stones.
Paul seated himself and looked about at all the faces around him. He was happy to be here for his daughters, but he felt trapped within the environment of the temple. He missed the sea. But he stirred now for a love. There had never before been anyone in his life, except the sea. But the sea was a loving, if treacherous mistress. But now that he had left her, he was very lonely. He looked to the couples who were seated together, and he sighed. He found he had no appetite, and he picked at his grubs. Scooping up the ones who attempted to escape his bowl.

In Eleanor's chamber she tidied up her bedding, as she worked, her wing brushed the romance novel she had been reading. She reached for the book, and slipped it into her night stand. She didn't want to stoke the fires of her rekindling reproductive urges. She had been happy to let that part of her being fall to sleep. But all that was happening around her, it made it difficult to put from her mind.
Perhaps she would take wing, and travel to the avian temple for some quiet reflection. Yes, that is exactly what she needed. She wanted to quiet the fire that burned anew within her loins. She was terribly embarrassed that she had begun masturbating again. That was the pastime for younger eagles she thought. Mature ladies did not indulge in such things. But between her legs, she felt the ache. The raw need that simmered inside her. She looked to the night stand, but shook her head.
She finished her work and moved to the archway. But slowly... she turned back. The book beckoned her, and she very much wanted to share in the romantic fantasy it offered. Clasping her hands together, she tentatively took the book and opened it. "Only for a moment." She whispered to herself. But as she read, she slipped her hand between her legs, and gently cupped her vent.
As the love story unfolded within the book, Eleanor became more and more aroused, and the heat inside her was more and more intense. Slowly moving her hips, she slipped her clawtip into her folds. She passionately closed her eyes, and pushed her fingers deeper, reliving the romantic day when she had met her husband Tristan.
Eleanor gasped as she recalled how instantly in love they had become, and the romantic first evening they had shared. When they consummated their love. Eleanor's wings began to tremble, and she felt white hot between her legs. The glorious ache was beginning deep inside her. Strong ripples of pleasure began to cascade from her belly, spreading out to every corner of her being. Eleanor cried out, a deep and throaty call. Heavy with lust, emotion, and need. "Tristan..." She breathlessly cried.
"Mom?" Ashley called to her from the gallery. "Oh!!!" Eleanor squeaked, "I'm okay sweetie..." Eleanor gasped, and tried to compose herself, but she felt she could barely move.
No doubt remained to her that her fires had indeed rekindled. She would go to the temple, but not to reflect. She would seek a golden eagle man to take her.. to give her a child.
Her motherly desires were fanned by her new daughter Shelly, and her amazing pregnancy.
Eleanor wished one more child of her own. Some part of herself was shocked at her desire, but Eleanor was intent. She wanted another baby, hopefully a daughter.
She would leave tomorrow, and turning back to the book, she read more. Taking in the romantic fantasy, she imagined herself in the story, she wished to be the woman spreading her legs wide for the beautiful feral man.

The two golden eagle sisters Gloria and Gracie waited for the professor to dismiss the class. When the final student had turned in his paper, the owl presiding over the class let out a low call, and the students filed out of the room. Once outside, they were officially dismissed. Gloria and Grace Blackmore made their way back to the small dorm room.
And inside, they found their uncle Paul reading. "Uncle, what are you doing here?" Gracie asked tugging at his toe claws. "You should be out in one of the social rooms!" The two girls laid down on the cushion with their adopted father. He smiled, and patted them. "Uncle, if being here makes you so unhappy, Gloria and I could live here on our own." Paul smiled, "You two are my whole world. I do like being here, I'm sorry I don't seem more engaged." Paul said.
Gracie looked sideways at the book he read, "Uncle, what is that book?" She read the title aloud, "Winter's Passion?" Gloria clasped her hands over her face, "Oh, this is serious..." She joked.
"I will make more attempts to make friends here." The elder golden eagle said, smiling. Gracie looked at him with suspicion, as these promises were made almost weekly. But she hoped this time their uncle might actually find a good friend. Perhaps even a mate. Paul went back to his romance novel, and Gloria giggled. "Don't make me start reading aloud..." Paul said with menace, and the girls fled, laughing.

Hector flew with Shelton cradled in his arms. The eagle was glad that he had chosen to fly, he badly needed the workout. Life here was very soft. He felt himself growing weaker, and his immense strength was one of the few prides hector felt about himself. The journey to Albany went very quickly by air, and Hector actually felt that the two could commute back to Forest drive for evening fun, and still spend quality time with Eleanor.
When Hector thought of the kind matriarch, a warm feeling of love radiated through him. He loved her dearly, just as much as his Shelton. In his youth, Priscilla Morningside had been a noble adoptive mother, but Hector never felt that she truly loved him. Not like they loved their own Virgil.
"Getting pretty close!" Shelton called, and Hector snapped out of his daydream. He made a banking turn, and saw the intersection of Telegraph road, and Forest drive. He spread his wings wide, and trimmed his air speed, beginning his descent. The cougar Mrs. Grier stood in her yard as she saw Shelton touch down in the arms of the big eagle.
"Oh! Shelton!" She called. Hector loosed his harness, and the pony removed his goggles. "Some men were here, looking for you and Shelly. I told them that you had moved away." Misses Grier said. Hector looked to Shelton, and the pony looked thoughtful. "You told them the right thing Misses Grier, thanks!" The cougar waved to the two, and Hector made his way inside Shelton's house.
"Why would people be looking for Shelly?" Hector asked, his voice very concerned. "Something Rakim told me, something about her transplant operation. And possibly her pregnancy." Shelton said. And Hector frowned, he was troubled that their lives might be intruded upon for the sake of medical curiosity. And the fearsome part of Hector's being which still remained rose up, and said with great menace, "I will kill any who attempts to harm Shelly."
And the gentle half of Hector said to the dark half, "Not if I kill them first."

Shelton knew that the lion Ulan Kesselring was off work today, and he telephoned his friend, "Certainly! I would love company!" The lion said excitedly through the phone. Shelton got his harness ready, and Hector checked all of the doors of the home, to make sure they were secure. His face was very stern as he worked, and Shelton swatted him loudly on his bottom, and the eagle jumped into the air.
"Relax bird, we are going to have some fun!" Shelton said, walking out onto the front porch. Waving to Misses Grier, the pair alighted from the yard, and made their way across town. Ulan lived in a small apartment near the city center, and he waited at his balcony for the pair to ride in one their motorcycles. But then he saw the eagle flying to him, bearing Shelton at his chest. It was the most amazing thing Ulan had ever seen, he didn't know it was possible for eagles to do such a thing, and he was very impressed.
"Hello! Please, come in!" Ulan called as the pair touched down. Hector was out of breath, "No more motorcycles for a while..." he said, panting.
Inside, Ulan had a very nice, if modest home. He had tasteful tribal artwork, and thick rugs on his tile floor. He cast a hungry gaze to Hector, and the eagle smiled. "Ulan..." Shelton said, "We want you to come to our wedding next weekend." The lion looked to Shelton, "Oh, well... certainly! I would love to!" The two chatted for a long moment about the wedding plans. As they spoke, Ulan's beautiful green eyes stole glances at Hector's muscular thighs. The harpy was pleased with the cat's attention, and teasing him, he arched his back and spread his legs apart.
Ulan groaned, and cast a wanting glance at Hector. Shelton grinned, and gave Hector a wink. With a sensuous motion, Hector rose and moved to Ulan. Smiling, the harpy slipped his arms around the lion's shapely waist. Shelton grinned broadly as Ulan cast a questioning glance to him.
Hector slowly slipped his bikini down, and grasping Ulan's hand, the eagle put it to his vent. Ulan gasped as he felt the eagle's heat through his hand. Hector then began to unfasten the buttons on Ulan's trousers. The eagle noticed that the lion was nearly his height, he was tall and slender, and for a male, his hips had a curious feminine curve. As Hector pulled Ulan's trousers down, he found that the cat had female genitalia. Hector gasped, and smiled. Ulan looked briefly concerned, but then happy that Hector looked intrigued.
Shelton settled down on the sofa, his head in his hands. Smiling broadly as he enjoyed the show. Hector put the tip on his beak against Ulan's nose, and his dark eyes threatened to devour the lion. Ulan pushed his pants all the way off, and stepped out of them.
"Please..." Ulan breathed, as he turned and grasped the edge of the sofa Shelton was seated upon. He presented himself to Hector, his long tail batting eagerly. Shelton leaned over and cupped the lion's face in his hands, looking into his eyes. "Get ready sweetie..." Shelton said to the lion. Hector grasped Ulan's hips, and put his vent to the lion's female folds.
Ulan felt the heat of the eagle against him, and then he felt the eagle's penis begin to penetrate him. It was like a hot iron rod had entered him, Ulan gasped, and he closed his eyes tightly. Hector bucked his hips, and Ulan's eyes flashed open, a great gasp escaping his throat. Hector had never before been inside a woman's body. And while Ulan was certainly not a regular female, he felt amazing.
Hector drew his penis almost all the way out, and then pushed back in, hilting himself against Ulan's bottom as he thrust his entire length into the cat. Ulan gasped as Hector pierced into his womb, his tail vibrating as the eagle threw his head back, and fucked the lion hard. Ulan took all that Hector had, and he begged the eagle to fuck him harder. The eagle worked his hips, and Shelton smiled at the beautiful expression of passion on Ulan's face. The pony tenderly kissed his friend while Hector pleasured the lion like none before.
Ulan began to shudder, his climax coming upon him. Hector expanded his chest, and Shelton drew a gasping breath, awed by the glorious sight. Spreading his wings, Hector let the first burst of his semen flood into Ulan. A second, and then a third. Ulan felt Hector's penis swell powerfully with each pulse as the eagle ejaculated. He thought the eagle would never stop.
And finally the lion felt his own climax. Ulan was seldom driven to release, but Hector had done it. He had made the lion come. And the ripples of pleasure shook the cat to his core. Hector drew from the cat, and Shelton quickly took the eagle's member into his mouth, savoring the taste of the sex. Ulan collapsed onto the sofa, and watched Sheton worship his eagle.
Later, the three lay in Ulan's bed. Quietly napping, and taking in their afterglow. Hector's belly suddenly rumbled very loudly. Shelton giggled, and Ulan asked "What was that??" Hector smiled, "Perhaps we should venture out for some dinner?" Dressing, the three made their way to Ulan's car. It was a small economy car, and Hector asked "How do you fit into this car?" Smiling, Ulan apologized for his modest transport. "There is no need for apology sweetheart." Hector said, "Let us take the bus, and downtown we shall purchase a vehicle which can bear us all comfortably." Ulan raised his eyebrow, "Oh?" He said, surprised. Shelton patted the lion, "Don't worry, it's what he does."
The three made their way into town, and Hector saw a BMW dealership. Ulan and Shelton waited outside, the cat nervously twisting his tail. "What does this eagle do for a living?" The cat asked, curious. "Nothing, as far as I know." Shelton said, smiling.
Hector emerged from the dealership, and waved the two over to a side lot. There, a BMW 850 convertible was being readied for sale. A salesman approached Ulan, "Mister Kesselring?" The salesman asked, presenting a sales form to the lion. "If I could get your signature sir..." Ulan cast a panicked glance at Hector. And the eagle nodded, smiling. Ulan looked at the form, Hector had made a cash transfer from his account to purchase the one hundred thousand dollar car. And Ulan was listed as the owner. Shelton patted the lion, "We will need a car we can all ride in when we come and visit you." Ulan slowly signed the form, struggling to find the dotted line from the tears blurring his vision.
The trio set out, Hector wedged sideways into the back seat. His wings spilling out over the trunk of the car. Shelton was front passenger, and Ulan drove. His face was suddenly alight as he motored along in the splendid new V8 droptop. Shelton has happy for this diversion. Tomorrow the companions would leave for the forest. To visit Hector's former woodland home. To confront the last of his personal demons. The experience would either heal the eagle, or further fracture his being. Shelton reached back, and patted his husband to be. "I love you sweetheart!" Shelton said to him over the blowing winds.
Later that night, Hector returned to the Brightwing home much later than they had intended. It was past ten in the evening, and the family sat in the gallery. Ashley and Jonathan curled up in their mother's arms, and Virgil cradled his Shelly. All smiled to Hector and Shelton as they made their way in, "We should be off to bed..." Shelly said, we all have a long flight tomorrow. Eleanor nodded, and drew near to hug Hector and Shelton. "Goodnight boys, I hope you have a good voyage come tomorrow." Hector smiled to everyone, and made his way upstairs with Shelton.
***
The morning dawned, and the four companions made their way over the forest of the Sanvean. Dark and unexplored wood passed beneath them. Hector led the way, guided by distant memories of his former life. Hector knew his father's cabin was along the path of the Tiber River, south of the base of the stone mountain. He had only to follow it's course... "Hold, we are near!" Hector called to Virgil.
The two eagles made a wide circle, loitering over the juncture of the Tiber beneath them. And then Hector saw his father's cabin. He slowly made his way down, Virgil close behind. Shelton clasped his eagle's arm tightly. And the two eagles landed in a nearby clearing. Virgil released Shelly's harness, and Hector slowly unlatched his own harness from Shelton. Shelton turned and hugged Hector, his blue eyes were wide with concern.
Hector hugged his stallion warmly. There seemed to be a serene acceptance in Hector's eyes. Just then they heard the voices of small children. Two small mammals ran from the wood into the clearing, waving to the companions. They were young badger children, perhaps seven or eight years of age. They wore simple tunics, and they seemed warm, and happy. "Hello!!" They called to the eagles. Bouncing up and down, they looked expectantly to the two towering eagles. Virgil smiled, "Hello there children! Do you live nearby?" he asked. "Yes!" The young girl replied, "Just yonder in the cabin!"
She seemed to hold out her hand expectantly, and Virgil realized that the youth must have mistook them for social workers from the avian temple. Visiting eagles would give treats to young children when they would visit remote settlements. Virgil reached into his pack and gave the youngsters two of Shelly's sugar cubes. They squealed in delight, "Thank you sir!" They cried, and ran back toward the distant cabin.
Hector took a few hesitant steps toward the black lodge, but then he looked to Shelton and smiled. Shelton took Hector's hand, and together they boldly walked toward the waiting cabin. Virgil and Shelly followed, smiling broadly.
As Hector and his pony neared the cabin, they found many mammal kin living on the former Ironwing property. The mammals waved to the eagles, and horses. They also seemed to think the visiting party to be avian temple visitors. As Hector drew near to the site of his birth, he found that the formerly oppressive wooden structure was now painted in lively colors. Artworks hung from the front porch beams, and happy children played on the front grass.
Hector stood, his mouth agape. This place of evil, where he had suffered unspeakable abuses, where his elder brother had slain his oppressors, was now a happy home. A mother badger came to the door, and waved to the party. Hector drew near, and the woman hugged him.
Hector stood stunned. To have a gesture of affection gifted to him by a motherly figure here, in this place, was overwhelming to him. The mother badger looked to the harpy, her face a question.
"Greetings," Virgil said, "We are not emissaries from the temple, but my friend here visits his former boyhood home." The woman put her hand to her chest, "Oh, well greetings to you. I am Catherine Brownfoot, my family has lived here now for some ten years..." Hector smiled, "I make no claims to this land my lady. This home is yours." the eagle said.
Catherine smiled, "Thank you great eagle. Please, would you like to come in?"
Hector slowly made his way inside, Shelton at his arm. The home looked much smaller than Hector remembered. The interior was now furnished in cheery decor, and children's artworks hung from the rafters. Slowly, Hector looked down to the spot where his father was killed, all those years ago. Not a trace of blood was on the wooden flooring, and there was no shadow of his parent's tyranny anywhere to be felt. This loving family had expelled the pall of the Ironwings. It was now a household of life, and love. Hector slowly sat down on the floor, and his companions joined him. Catherine smiled, and her children suddenly came into the home followed by her husband Benjamin Brownfoot.
The companions chatted with the Brownfoot family, and Hector said nothing of the violence and pain that had happened here. Only that his family had once lived in this home, but had departed two score ago.
"We heard tell of this lodge some ten years ago..." Benjamin said, "From some avians who spent their time gathering precious stones from the river Tiber. There was a small group of birds living here when we arrived, but they had no children, and so they gifted us this home when they saw ours." the badger said.
Hector smiled, "You have a lovely home here Mister Brownfoot." he said. Benjamin nodded, "Thank you kindly."
Benjamin's daughter trotted up and threw herself into the father badger's arms. And if Hector's eyes could have wept, they would have done so. The blackest place in Hector's past was now a healed and thriving place.
Hector felt restored, and the dark half of Hector's being settled down into a deep slumber. While the gentle half soared with renewed vigor. "Thank you Mister Brownfoot..." Hector said thoughtfully.
Brownfoot nodded, somewhat confused by the eagle's great emotional tone. But he was happy that his visitor seemed pleased. The companions then heard other mammals approach the home. Young adult badgers, and a fox drew near, and made their way inside, "Ho father! We regret we are empty handed today!" the tall for said.
The young animals noticed their visitors, and warmly bowed. Shelly was struck by a feeling as she looked to the tall reynard. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she felt she knew this fox from somewhere. "Perhaps from some foster home." she thought.
"Tis a mild sorrow," Benjamin said, "We shall have potatoes tonight in the stead of beast."
Hector's crest roused, "Your hunt was unsuccessful?" he asked, and the fox reynard nodded, "Aye, we nearly had our quarry, but such nearness does not fill a hungry belly."
Hector looked to Shelton, a fearsome grin on his face. Shelton giggled, and nodded gleefully. Hector rose, and without a word, departed the home. The Brownfoots looked to one another, and then to Virgil. And Virgil smiled to them,
"You have visiting you a fearsome hunter, from which no prey can escape. Someone who can fell the largest of wild beasts. Make haste preparing your fires, for tonight you shall fill your belly with more flesh than you can eat!"
Catherine smiled warmly, "Well thank you kind eagle! We appreciate any and all comforts!" The young fox smiled to Shelly, "Hello," he said, "My name is Timothy, Timothy Buttons." Shelly shook his hand, "Hello there." she sputtered.
Both felt the odd feeling. Like they had met the other somewhere before.
Soon, Hector arrived back to the company, bearing two wild beasts. They were large males, and the mammals looked wide eyed as Hector carried them with ease. Laying them down, Hector took the talons of his feet and slashed them wide, spilling the beast's entrails onto the grass.
Shelton stood shocked, amazed at the ease with which Hector eviscerated the beasts. The mammals cheered, and Hector stepped aside and let them go to work cutting the meat into steaks. Night fell over the Brownfoot home, and Shelton's family sat all around a roaring fire with the Brownfoot clan. All were laughing, and enjoying their meal. And their fine company.
"I did not know equine kin ate of beast flesh." Benjamin said to Shelton. The pony made chomping motions with his teeth, "Many of my equine friends do. It is not such an oddity."
The mother badger looked to Shelly, "And what of your life abroad? How is the greater world beyond the wood?" The mare smiled, "You have here a lovely paradise. I think you are not missing much, save rush hour traffic."
Catherine smiled, and the children looked quizzical. Hector leaned back, and rested upon his wings, gazing up at the stars. He had gazed through these very same trees, all those years ago. Wishing somehow he could reach up into that sky, and escape the prison he endured here.
But now he was in the welcome company of a happy home. Truly, all of Hector's hurts were healing. The party bedded down under the stars outside of the Brownfoot home. Something Hector never thought he would ever do again until this moment. Spend another night in this place. Benjamin's daughter Elizabeth made her way over to Hector and Shelton, and slipped in between them. Sighing happily, the little badger went to sleep in their arms.
Across the camp site, Shelly smiled warmly to Shelton. Her brother rolled his eyes, and smiled, knowing what the mare was thinking, "Get used to it little brother, your new nephew is on the way."
***
The night deepened, and the companions fell into a restful sleep. Hector's face was serene, and he cradled Shelton and the little girl Elizabeth in his arms. All slept soundly, save for Shelly. A curious dream settled over her, and in it, Shelly held her breath. But she had to see. She had to see if it was Justin.
As she drew near to the eagle, she found him sitting near a beautiful pool. As she approached, he slowly turned to her.
"Justin!!" Shelly called. She ran to the eagle, and knelt beside him. The eagle looked to her, a glimmer of recognition in his eyes. But his exact relationship to the mare seemed to elude his dream self. Shelly clasped her hands on his shoulder, "Justy, it's me!"
The eagle let out a slow breath, a faint realization dawning on him. And the beautiful golden eyes of Justin suddenly shimmered brightly. His golden eyes turned as blue as a robin's egg.
"Your name..." The eagle said as his golden plumage slowly turned to dark brown. "Is...." he said, but then he gasped as his feathers began to retreat into his body, becoming short brown fur. Panting, he breathed "Your name is..." and he again gasped as his clawed toes became hooved feet.
His beak elongated, and became bright yellow. Small equine ears rose from his head, and his shiny brown coat hugged the taught curves of his new equine muscularity. His body was completely reshaping. Shelly breathlessly looked on as her former brother became the vision of her son to be. "Your name... is... Mother." Shean said, smiling. And Shelly hugged him.
"Oh, sweetheart..." She said, now understanding the dream of three nights ago. When she felt Justin had touched her.
"I love you sweetheart." Shelly said, beginning to weep. And Shean tilted his head, and gently smiled. "Mommy loves you so much, I'll see you soon." And with that, Shelly awoke in her Virgil's arms. She understood. And she thanked the mischievous creator, wherever he was.
***
The next morning the companions bid the Brownfoot clan farewell, and made ready to depart. "Please," Benjamin said, "Come back to us anytime. You are most welcome."
Hector hugged the badger, and his daughter Elizabeth hopped up and down, waiting for her hug. Bearing her upon his shoulder, Hector took a final look at the home. He was at peace.
"We go to the avian temple," Virgil said to Benjamin, "Would you like us to send a party of eagles to you?" The badger smiled, taking his daughter into his arms, "We had a visit some months ago, but if any are willing to call, they would be well met." Virgil smiled, and began to fix Shelly's harness about her. He noticed she had a warm glow about her face, and he hugged her gently.
Hector drew near to his Shelton, and stood over him, preparing for the flight ahead. Shelton fixed his goggles over his eyes, and patted Hector's stomach. Snapping the lanyard to Shelton's belt, the eagle closed his arms around Shelton.
With a great rush of feathers and muscle, Shelton again found himself hundreds of feet in the air, with Shelly and Virgil following close behind. Notheast they flew, toward the distant peak of the stone mountain. It would be a days flight for the party, but for Hector, it was a far happier voyage than the one of twenty years ago.
Never did Hector imagine that he would have come so far, and have so much. And the best years were yet to come. There really would be a happy ending for him. "I love you Shelton!" Hector called through the wind, and Shelton kissed the eagle's hand. The woods of the Sanvean were now a happier place for the eagle, and the trees seemed to smile up as the companions moved over them.

At the Brightwing home, Eleanor stood, and bid her sons goodbye, "I should be back in a few days time!" she called. Her sons waved, and Eleanor blew them a warm kiss.
Leaping into the air, she sliced through the headwind. Nothing would deter her from her desire, as she powered through the gales. The mother eagle was driven by the raw need she felt inside her deepest places.
Soon night fell across the valley, and Paul Silverstone made his way to the central promenade of the avian temple. He had decided to open himself more to the avian folk around him, but he was terrible at social situations. His years spent as a sailor had stunted his social skills, and embarrassing himself in front of a lady was a great fear of the eagle.
Shyly, he sought out the company of an unattended lady owl. "Hello..." Paul said, and the owl smiled to him, "Hello sir! How are you this evening?" she said. Paul bowed, feeling very awkward. Just then a male owl approached, and sat beside the lady.
"Oh..." the golden eagle said. The lady shyly smiled, and Paul bowed, and took his leave. "Stupid me..." The eagle said, cursing himself. He decided to take meal, and he entered the dining hall. Glumly gathering his morsels, the eagle sat down at a table. Across from him, a female golden eagle suddenly regarded him.
Paul noticed the lady look to him, and he smiled to her. She was a somewhat older female golden eagle, but she was very elegant, and lovely. "Hello..." The lady said, "My name is Eleanor."
Paul smiled, "My name is Paul, tell me, are you here unattended this evening?"
Eleanor let her wings slip seductively from her shoulders, and Paul's eyes widened with attraction. "I am not, lovely eagle." Eleanor said with practiced sensuality, "I hope that you are not escorted by any fine ladies."
Paul smiled, slightly taken aback. "Oh, no. I have no mates, or consorts." he said. Eleanor's eyes practically devoured him, and Paul felt a thrill run through him. He knew this woman wanted sex. And she wanted sex with him... very much.
"Well," Paul said, "I share my room here with my two adopted daughters..." "Oh?" Eleanor interrupted, "Oh, yes... they attend the central academy here. Second year."
Eleanor's expression became gleefully predatory. She reached out and took Paul's hand, "I have private quarters here, we could..." Paul's feathers roused, and he shyly smiled. Eleanor suddenly noticed his meal, "Oh, but you have not eaten of your meal." Eleanor said, smiling. "There is a hunger I wish to satisfy, and food cannot satiate it." Paul said, his desire growing. Eleanor smiled broadly at the comment, it seemed to have come from the very romance novel she had been reading. But as she looked to Paul, the fire between her legs rose to a fever pitch.
She knew with certainty that she was within the window of her peak reproductive cycle. Sex now would guarantee her a pregnancy. "Please...." Eleanor said breathlessly, "Come to my chamber, so that I may bask in your beauty."

Across the sky, the companions drew near to the avian temple. Shelly's dream continually replayed in her mind. She tried to parse what she had seen in her dream, hoping to glean any further message from it. One thing she had decided, she would say nothing to Virgil, or Eleanor, nor any of her family.
If anything she gathered from the dream, the message seemed to be Justin was now Shean. Shean was his own being now, and it would be unfair to him to raise him in the shadow of Justin's memory. She would tell her son someday. But not during his childhood, and to Shean alone. Eleanor would never know. "We'll be at the temple within the hour!" Virgil called, and Shelly squeezed her eagle's arms as his muscles worked above her.
Eleanor walked down the temple corridor, hand in hand with Paul. Did she really want this? She thought of her sons at home, they were grown now, and soon they would find professions for themselves. Eleanor still had many many good years ahead of her. She wanted Shelly's baby to have a sibling to grow with. Eleanor wanted her own child to grow with her daughter's new baby.
She squeezed Paul's hand. Yes, this is what she wanted. Nearing her room she suddenly clasped her arms around her man for the evening, and hugged him. Paul was surprised, but then warmly returned her embrace. The lady smelled so sweet he thought, her scent was intoxicating to him. Eleanor opened her chamber door, and turning to him, said... "Please, come inside." Paul smiled broadly, "Yes my lady."
Eleanor crossed the room, and sat on the end of her bed. Her wings were held high, and her breath came quickly. Paul approached, and ran his hands over her face, looking deeply into her eyes. All of Eleanor's fantasies culminated in this moment. She laid back, and spread her golden thighs. Paul put his groin to hers, and Eleanor gasped as she felt his penis brush against the soft feathers between her legs. Tensing, his penis pushed through her folds, penetrating her.
She arched her back as she felt him fill her with his length. The heat of her body astonished the male. He knew then that she was receptive, and that this act would make him a father. He paused for a moment, hesitating. But then he looked into Eleanor's eyes, and the eagle thrust hard into the golden lady.
Eleanor cried out, and Paul grasped her knees, spreading her legs wider. Paul moved his hips, feeling Eleanor growing hotter and tighter as he worked. He knew it wouldn't be long. Eleanor felt a warm, thrumming power move through her body. Paul felt the ripples of her contractions through his penis, and with a groan, the eagle began to ejaculate.
Eleanor's world trembled with her release. And Paul soared on the crest of his pleasure. Made all the more intense that he had created a new life. He scarcely knew this woman, but she would have his child. Paul's world had changed, and he was overwhelmed. But the eagle was also glad.

But earlier, the companions had circled the great pyramid, and made their way to the main entrance. Landing inside, the eagles struggled to catch their breath. Shelton unfastened his harness, and helped Shelly remove hers. As Shelton pressed against Shelly's belly to remove her belt he felt her baby kick. "Wow..." Shelton gasped.
"See what I deal with?" Shelly asked, smiling. Shelton turned to Virgil, "Your kid is going to be as strong as, well... a horse." Virgil smiled, "The best of two great animals."
The party moved to the dining hall, and sat heavily at a table. They wanted food, but the last ounce of their strength had left them. They sat, resting. Suddenly, Shelton thought he saw Eleanor. "Hey, isn't that..."
Virgil saw her too, departing with a male golden eagle. She wore an expression none of the companions had ever seen her wear. She wore a mask of lust. She was leaving with a man for the purpose of sex. Hector shook his head, "Is that Eleanor? Our Eleanor?"
Shelton giggled, "I see we have a corruptive influence." the pony said, referring to Virgil's earlier jest. Eleanor, their mother, was going away with a man to have sex. They drew near to the table where the pair had been seated, an uneaten plate of food sat there. "Wow, mom works quick." Shelly said, smiling. The eagles scooped up the morsels, and savored the meal. The horses went to search for less exotic fare as they marveled at what they had seen.
Back in Eleanor's chamber, she lay in the afterglow of Paul's lovemaking. The eagle looked to the lady, and gently eased between her legs, mating her once again. Slowly, gently, he eased himself into her, and slowly slid back out. Small tremors of climax ebbing and flowing as he pulsed more and more inside Eleanor.
"I am a father now." Paul said aloud. "Yes..." Eleanor said, "But no oath or bond is laid at your feet. Our lives may never again touch after this day, if that is your wish."
Paul hilted himself deep inside Eleanor, and she gasped passionately. "And bid farewell to someone who I may grow to love?" Paul said, looking to her with half closed eyes. Eleanor looked to the younger man, Paul was scarcely older than Proudfoot. Eleanor had not considered this development, that her consort for the evening might wish to become her mate.
"Bitter is the taste of severance after so sweet a night. I wish to be part of your future, in whatever role you might have of me." Paul said quietly. Eleanor held her arms out to him, and he lay against her. Gently mating her as the fires of their passions still burned hotly.
Paul fell in love with Eleanor. He wanted to surrender to her, to give her everything he had, and he wanted to shelter himself beneath her wings. Eleanor felt the eagle hug her tightly, and she cooed in his ear. "Oh, sweetheart...." She said, gently. Wishing she had the courage to profess her growing love. She wished she could be as brave as the characters from her novel.
And across the temple, Virgil led his companions to the chamber of his father and mother. The Lord Joshua and his Lady Priscilla. Virgil tapped softly at the door, and after a moment it opened. The elder bald eagle's face was bright, "Ah, my impetuous Master Proudfoot! And Hector! Please come in!" The party entered, and Shelton looked very uncomfortable. Until the great bald eagle knelt and hugged the pony, "Hello Shelton," Joshua said, "I understand you are the treasured love of my beloved Hector Ironwing."
Joshoua ran his fingers through Shelton's mane, sending a tingle up the pony's spine, "Hector was ever my fond adopted son, and I am happy that he has found you." the father bald eagle said with a wink.
Joshua then took Shelly's hand. "I understand that the great spirit has seen fit to bless us with a child. When none thought such a miracle could be handed down. But aye, I am most happy. And blessed." Priscilla joined her husband, and they hugged Virgil and Shelly. "Bless you both. We love you so much!"
Shelton looked to Hector, and wished that he had been a lady who could bear his eagle child. But we'll certainly have fun trying, Shelton thought.
In the gentle candle light of Eleanor's chamber, Paul laid nestled against the back of his lady Eleanor. She listened to his gentle breathing as he lay beside her, and Eleanor marveled that her romantic love story had seemed to come true.
Eleanor felt complete again. She felt that a lost part of her being had been restored, and that not only would she be a new mother again, but she could also be a loving wife once more. The golden lady turned her head, and gazed back to her lover.
"Please," She said to Paul, "Put your seed again into my deepest places, and stoke the fires of my being. I want to love you with all of my power, I love you... Paul." Paul gasped, and clasped his arms around Eleanor. He lay cradled against her back, and Eleanor moved her tail aside. Breathlessly, Paul moved his vent to Eleanor's bottom, and he again put his manhood into his lady. His length spread her wide as she shuddered with renewed passion.
"Please, harder!" Eleanor gasped as she felt the fires of her belly again ignite. And Eleanor again felt the power of her orgasm radiate through her being, the white heat radiated through Paul as he again released deep inside of his lady. She cried out, remembering all the nights she would hear the cries of passion echo across the quiet of her home. Now it was Eleanor's turn to cry out in passion. And all the want in her being was satiated as her lover again filled her with his seed.
***
The next day, Eleanor strolled back to Paul's quarters, the two hand in hand. They drew near to his door, as his daughters suddenly emerged to begin their day. They stood, staring at the lovely lady their uncle had brought home.
"Wow!" Gracie cawed. Eleanor smiled broadly, instantly liking the two girls. They patted their uncle, and left him to his lady. The two entered his quarters, and Eleanor looked about. There were many fine mementoes of Paul's life there. Eleanor looked to a photograph of Paul standing upon the deck of a great sailing ship. He looked so dashing as a sailor. Glancing to the bed, Eleanor saw on Paul's side table the very romance novel title that Eleanor had been reading at her home. "Winter's Passion." She laughed as she picked up the book. Paul smiled with embarrasment. "I think..." Eleanor said, "We need to relive the scene by the river..." The golden lady waved the book mischievously, her wings slowly slipping across her shoulders.
Shelton had spent a restful night, and later in the morning the four companions gathered in the dining hall, taking their morning meal, and hoping to catch sight of Eleanor. And she did appear with her golden eagle consort. Shelton waved to her, and Eleanor covered her beak with her wing, suddenly shy. The companions drew near, and hugged her warmly. "This is my family..." Eleanor said, turning to Paul.
"And I am Paul Silverstone." The eagle said warmly, shaking hands. The six settled down for their breakfast, and Shelly saw the warm glow in Eleanor's eyes. It was the same glow she had seen in her own mirror, when she first knew she was with child, and Shelly smiled to her mother. Eleanor was glad to hear that Hector had a fulfilling visit to his former wood. Virgil smiled to Eleanor, "Truly, this journey was fruitful for all of us."
Jonathan sat in the gallery of the Brightwing home, reading from a career planner. Ashley walked from the kitchen and the two heard the main doorway open. Their mother entered with a golden eagle man. And Jonathan was struck by an image of the last time he had seen his mother and father together. "Hello sweetheart..." Eleanor said to him. "This is Paul." And as the two entered, a great company of eagles poured into the home.
Joshua and Priscilla Morningside, Virgil, Hector, Imar the black eagle, and many other friends. At the end of the great company, two young female golden eagles slowly entered. The young ladies looked around, and then saw Ashley and Jonathan. And suddenly, all of the brother's childish romantic jests evaporated. They looked to the eagle girls, and they shyly smiled. "I am Gloria..." the tall female said, moving to the taller Jonathan. And Gracie went to Ashley, who was of similar height to her. "Hello..." she said, "I am Grace. But please, call me Gracie." Ashley bowed, and the brothers introduced themselves. Across the room, Eleanor hugged Paul tightly, and Shelton smiled broadly at all of the eagles. Hector looked to Shelton, and the pony felt like taking his eagle upstairs and doing something naughty. But he didn't want the entire house to hear.
The next morning Doctor Rakim drove up the windy drive to the Brightwing home. As he parked, he noticed the BMW that had been following him most of the way also pulling up to the drive. As Rakim got out of his Volvo, Ulan pulled next to him in his BMW 850. "Well..." Rakim said, "I see I am in the wrong profession!" Ulan the waiter smiled, "Tips can be good. Especially when they are attached to kind eagles." Rakim laughed, and the two made their way up to the home. Shelton met them at the door, and hugged them mightily. "I'm gonna get married!" The pony cried.
***
The morning of the happy wedding had arrived, and Joshua Mosningside brought his son Virgil Proudfoot before Imar. "I present my son Virgil, to enter into matrimony with his beloved."
And the high priest of the avian temple smiled warmly to Virgil, "Ever have you made us proud Virgil," Imar said, "It is a true honor to stand with you at the threshold of this new chapter in your life." Virgil bowed to the black eagle, his eyes great with emotion.
Eleanor took Shelly's hand, and gently said to her "Come, sweetheart."
The mother eagle led Shelly to Virgil's side, and she put the couple's hands together. "I present my daughter Shelly, to enter into matrimony with her beloved." Shelly gently wept as she looked into Virgil's joyful eyes. Eleanor smiled warmly to the couple, and Joshua slipped his arms around the lady Eleanor.
Joshua's wife Priscilla brought Hector before Imar, and she said to Imar "I present my son Hector, to enter into matrimony with his beloved." Hector's face suddenly wore a great emotion, the adopted mother of his childhood had never before referred to him as her son. And he looked to her, a message of thanks in his eyes.
And the lion Rakim took Shelton's hand. He led Sheton to Hector's side, and put their hands together. "I present Shelton Holden, to enter into matrimony with his beloved." Patting the couple, Rakim stepped away. Eleanor looked across the isle to Paul, a great desire was upon her face. And Paul looked to his lady, a great want was in his eyes. And his daughters saw his need, and Eleanor's children saw their mother's desire.
Ashley and Jonathan went to their mother, and each took her hand. Eleanor gasped as her boys led her to the alter, "We present our mother, to enter into matrimony with her beloved." The golden eagle sons smiled to their mother, and Eleanor put her hands to her face.
She looked to her sons, a great thankfulness was in her eyes. Gloria and Gracie stole themselves to take their uncle's hand, and they led Paul to Eleanor's side. "We present our uncle, to enter into matrimony with his beloved."
And the girls brought the couple's hands together. And Eleanor gripped Paul's hand with a great love. Both groups of children hugged their parents, and then they stepped away. Shelly gently wept as the great romantic scene unfolded.
Imar beamed, and he bowed to his friends. And then Imar's sister Alicia appeared, she wore flowing black robes laced with gold, and she was taller than the greatest lord.
She spread her wings, and lifted her voice in song. She sang sweetly, in the ancient language of eagles. She called for blessings to the new families, and she sang an uplifting tale of the eagle and the hawk. The story of the eagle and the hawk was a fond tale told by mixed species couples.
The lonely eagle who dwelt in rocky cathedrals felt his life touched by a beautiful hawk, and finally came to know love. Virgil looked to Shelly, and she gazed to him with her golden eagle's eyes. "I love you..." She said, squeezing his hand. And then Alicia bowed gracefully, her song completed. Imar stepped forward and began his ceremony.
Imar spoke of sacrifice, and of love. He spoke of devotion, and of commitment. And most of all, he spoke of the treasured bonds the group before him had sewn. Imar spread his wings wide, and said loudly "Rejoice! For thou art now married!" And all in attendance cheered the three sets of newlyweds. Eleanor's beak was held open in a passionate gape, and she threw her arms around her Paul.
The new husband took his wife into his arms, and softly said to her, "I love you, Misses Eleanor Silverstone."
