Pokémon: Darkest Taboo, Pt70
(Okay, trying a new way of posting these if I can get the spaces between lines and paragraphs to decrees to half what they normally are, I know there must be a way as I have seen some stories out their with slime line between paragraphs.)
PART SEVENTY.
B ack at the camp site the others where hard at it, disassemble the tent. It was still early enough to make a good start to their next destination as such decided to forgo the decent slap up breakfast they would normally have enjoyed to start a day off but with Forest City so close everyone wanted to get there as soon as they could get an early start would mean having more time to take in the sights after booking in at the pokémon centre. Instead by the large ruck sacks, six bottles of water and breakfast bars could be found waiting for them. The morning was bright'n'sunny with a cool breeze blowing through the air to keep the heat at a tolerable level, Bunny having folded and tucked the ground sheet back into its bag noticed a sad looking trainer stumbling towards them between the tents still up, the youths face was tear stained while his red sore eyes were puffy, he looked ragged as if he hadn't slept at all that night.
“Have you seen a chimchar wandering about, he has a red scarf around his neck?"
The trainer asked his voice exhausted; desperate; filled with loss, much to her shame all the Lopunny could do is shake her head slowly then watch the Human wander off to continue his search for a much loved pokémon. The Trainer sighed in despair before stumbling off refusing to quite until he found his beloved pokémon, there was nothing any of them could do save for feel sorry for him, with a regretful look Rabbit Pokémon returned to her task at hand just as Jack and Lucy came into view.
“About bloody time, it's typical you would show up once the jobs nearly done!"
Bunny snorted teasingly while Blaze with a smirk added.
“All most as lazy as Toph there!"
Oni slowly shook her head trying to give an indignant tone to her own voice a she spoke up as well, though this time her word stopped half way through the sentence upon seeing Lucy's condition.
“Come on girls no one is as lazy as that…….Lucy?.....what's wrong?"
The Lucario didn't reply preferring to look away from his gaze while giving off the sense of wishing to avoid the question the best she could, it fell to jack in the end to reply for her however even then the answers Oni sought after where at best limited in information as he sought to spare the feelings of the steel/fighting pokémon as much as possible.
“It was an unwanted memory"
Oni blinked a few times as this sank in, her mouth opened as if to push for more information than that but closed just quickly when it clicked, the rest where quick cotton on. Everyone present had been there when they had found Lucy, how all five of them had witnessed the state she had been in and counted themselves fortunate for having Jack as there Human. A few minutes past in silent contemplation until a discreet cough all eyes fell upon Toph who stretched lazily as yawned loudly, sitting up on her haunches she proceeded to clean her face with the back of her paw as she projected her words to their minds rather than make the physical effort to utilise her vocal cords.
'Yes, Yes all good and well but we need to finish packing, we really should finish what we started'
Blaze blinked incredulously at the Espeon thinking of a few choice responses to give the Eeveevolution though roll of Toph's eyes showed she had all read them and felt little if any contempt for the possible comebacks the fire chicken had been about to put into words.
'Yes, very droll I must say!'
Toph commented with indifferent tone to her mental voice as she gave a hand with the rest of the packing by curling up to have a short nap while every one else did the work, Jack got stuck in between bites of the breakfast bar which consisted of cardboard tasting cereal with a tasteless processed fruit gel. It was the pokémon League's officially licenced food bar for Trainers on the go that tasted awful but with three quarters of a box of left of the vile disgusting bars, no one wanted to just simply waste food.
“UGH!"
Jack cringed using the water to help force down the dry hard to swallow substance, for a moment it felt as if it would stay stuck in his throat until eventually it made its way down into his stomach. Lucy was not fairing much better with her own it would be late morning before getting on their way, with a swift steady pace they made good time with everyone other than Toph carrying their fair share who was in her Pokéball preferring to be carried as always rather than exert herself with any form of unnecessary effort.
“Okay according to the map"
James started swiping his thumb across his phones screen.
“We can either go through Obscura Forest then through route six to Moor Bridge City or we can stay on route nine and head into Forest City first, do the gym there before moving through route seven to get to moor bridge that way."
He mused offering the choice out, it didn't take a discussion as Bunny, Oni, Lucy and Blaze looked at each other then as one they spoke.
“Forest City!"
Jack chuckled, he could guess the reason behind this unanimous vote, Forest City meant warm comfortable beds while the other way meant sleeping bags with the tent to protect them from the elements. He couldn't blame them as the idea of a nice soft matrices sounded good to him. For next six hours they walked along the foot path with grass verge leading down to the river, it current flowing back to the camp site, occasionally the group would pause just long enough to watch two trainers screaming orders as their pokémon giving it everything they had. The drifting clouds pushed along by a pleasant breeze kept the air warm while providing plenty of shade as midday came and went with only a stop for dinner, by early evening the group had reached a sign marking the outskirts of Forest city. The entire city was surrounded by a wall that looked as if it had been there from the days of the despot ruler Sir Anthro, a vile; cruel man. To the east of the wall they could see tree line of obscura forest just a few meters along what Jack could only surmise was route six.
There were two access points in to the city one to the north of the city, the second being the southern entrance which was currently the way they were entering. The surrounding wall was wide enough for a person to walk along with chain linked fence added along the edge during more modern times to keep people from leaning to far over the edge only to fall to their deaths or suffering horrific injuries, something that despite signs to warn people, had often happened until the fence had been erected, though even then the pathway along the top was only open to the public during the day.
From just beyond the tree line something watched the group of pokémon and their Human with intense fascination, the humanoid shape began to breath heavily from the shadows as it eased its left hand between its legs, its red eyes watching Jack with great intent. It's breathing coming in shorter ragged bursts. The three digits of its right hand dug into the trunk of the tree hid behind while the thumb pressed hard against the bark. As it picked up its pace, stroking with more urgency against the psionic phallic shaped construct of psychedelic energy rising up from between its legs. Its hand began to move faster as it used its imagination to picture the Human naked, presenting its rear for the pokémon reproductive organ deep into, the fantasy was to much as with a few sudden sharp jerks of its hips it's eyes partly closed in an expression of lust filled intensity. Until suddenly it stopped just moments away from its sexual release, the pokémon held a wide-eyed look of panic as an Espeon left its Pokéball in a burst of blue light. Toph's eyes looked directly in its direction as if sensing its presence. With a grunt of annoyance, the shadow cloaked entity drifted backwards into the forest as it felt the psychic Eeveelution scanning the area for possible danger, throwing mental walls it glared in frustration as it retreated, at least for now.
