Xenodergs

Everybody knows the world of xenomorphs and Weyland. In this fanfiction of mine, xenomorphs are crossed with dragons, resulting in a new species, the xenodergs.

Everybody knows about Weyland-Yutani Corp.’s strange and stranger things. Although, those who knew it, are no longer alive, or are now one of the key employees of the company. Possibly the androids know yet, but we won’t anything from them ever, since it’s closed by a certain code from everyone else.

This was no different this time. On the carrier ship alone Gill, the android, knew the real purpose of the journey, which was the LV-621. No doubt why this was their destination, as they are believed to discover many new lives with their best telescope. Among them there are the considered extinct dragons. Weyland found this an excellent opportunity to establish their weapon.

He wanted to mix his obsessed xenomorphs with them, to create a xenomorph dragon hybrid army. But to do this, he needed at least one dragon, they must capture it and use a xenomorph egg to insert a larva into it, to finally break out in the form of a chestburster.

This is the story of a new alien race.

No one was awake on the board. Everybody was kept alive, in deep sleep, by the onboard computer, Mom. Even Gill to keep the rest of the crew from feeling so monitored. Although everyone knew Gill was an android.

The crew consisted of 5 people without Gill. Most of them were jailed prisoners, except for Sophie Mars, the captain, who took this route for the extra money since she still had to travel with prisoners.

Apart from her Oliver Harriston was on board with her, was sentenced to life imprisonment for bank robbery and killing all hostages. Daniel Robinson, one of the biggest assassins. The number of known victims is 175, but he said he did not count after 500. Originally sentenced to death, Weyland knew he would come in handy for the company. Jaxxon Fright, the brain behind the recently overthrown green crystal drug farm. He always came up with plans. They failed by one of the members, who told everything in the hope of wealth. They haven't seen him since. Jaxxon said that nobody will see him in one piece. Jaxxon was originally sentenced to 50 years but was doubled for bad behaviour. The last crew member is Able Butt. Because of his name, he was bullied as a child. He endured this until he was 20, when he hid explosives in his former and current schools. He broke into their radio where he just said, "I'm Able Butt, laugh at me now!" and then, he blew them up. No one survived the explosions. With the press of a button, 1245 teachers and students lost their lives. There was no evidence against him, none was not found for a while. He was hiding from the police. He lived from theft, robbery. He spent his time killing his old familiars. He failed by making a mistake once. He chose the wrong place to kill Chona Cage, a camera captured it all. As he laughed in front of her, as he turned the knife inside her and whispered something in her ear, it was something like "Now laugh at me Cage!". Because the poor girl said, "We were just kids!", before she finally collapsed onto the ground, forever. Like Daniel, he was sentenced to death, but Weyland rescued him too.

As they passed by the Planet LV-621, Mom awoke the crew. The crew, tormented by the months-long road, climbed out of their sleeping cabs, and when they fully recovered, they looked at where they were.

Sophie: - Mom! Why did you wake us up?

Mom: - Danger! Fault in left gear! Forced landing must be made!

Gill: - Leave Sophie, I'll take it from here. It's going to be shaky.

With that, Gill took Sophie's seat at the steering wheel. He waited for everyone to take their seat, then he began to descent.

When they landed, they couldn't believe their own eyes: everything was untouched.

Gill: - According to the instruments, there is suitable air for the human body. While I'm repairing the gear, if you think that way, please look around on the planet. All I ask of you is not to be lost. It would not be good for the company's reputation.

Daniel: - Yeah, because the company is really interested in what happened with some prisoners and with a pretty lady.

Jaxxon: - Shut up Daniel!

Daniel: - Take care of your mouth, you little worm! I've killed smarter guys, than you, with my bare hands. They thought they could evade me... Well, they were wrong!

Sophie: - Are you done with the hassle? Fine, so what now? Who votes to look around and who to stay here?

No response was received when a huge roar pierced the ship. A large shadow appeared on the glass. His master was in front of the ship, sniffing it.

Oliver: - If I'm not wrong, this is a dragon. A western dragon to be exact.

Able: - Oh god, he will start again!

Oliver: - You know this from the fact that it has four legs and wings. Apart from that, there were wyverns, Chinese dragons, to name but a few.

Able: - Okay, thank you for the saying this, that's enough! You said this a thousand times already…

Oliver: - Shut up asshole!

With this Able jumped on Oliver.

Able: - Tell me one reason why I shouldn't tear your tongue out!

Gill just shook his head.

Gill: - Mom!

Gill didn't have to say more, Mom knew immediately what to do: a small electric shock hit Able.

Able: - Okay, okay... I calmed down.

Sophie: - That's right... Well, where we were before this grown reptile disturbed us? Whether we would go out or not.

Gill: - Because the company’s contract states that at least one copy of each animal and plant discovered must be sent to the centre, this is no longer a question.

Jaxxon: - You're just kidding right now, right?

Sophie: - I'm afraid he’s not. The androids cannot joke. Gill, are the plants you see here listed in your database?

Gill: - Looking... Yeah. All you must do is catch the dragon.

Able: - And how the fuck you imagined that?

Jaxxon: - I think I know the answer. If this dragon is a female and has a mate or vice versa, it is possible that they have eggs in their cave. Eggs are also easier to transport than a grown reptile.

Oliver: - You can’t say their gender by only looking at them, so it's very good that you fixed it by yourself.

Able: - Alright dragon scientist… Where's your diploma in dragon science?

Oliver: - Soon right up in your ass!

Sophie: - Can you two just calm down or will Mom have to shock you again?

Oliver: - Okay, okay... I’m calmed down... For now. But just to know, where Mom can't reach, I’ll kill you.

Able: - Unless I'll be faster!

The tension could be felt on the ship. But this was broken by an earthquake. The dragon flew up to the sky. The crew’s the weaker part fell onto the ground. When they got up, they nodded, and then set out to look for the cave.

When they left the ship, they didn’t have to look for a long time, or so they thought, since they can saw only one mountain in thew near. So, they aimed at it.

On the way, the scramble between Oliver and Able continued. Sometimes they tossed stones at each other, just the usual childish things.

Oliver: - Hey Able! What was it like when you were first fucked in the ass? You must have been available for everyone!

Able: - That's enough! You're done!

Able jumped at Oliver, but he's been waiting for this all along. He jumped out of Able's path, who fallen into a precipice, but the dragon caught him in flight. Everyone quickly crouched on the floor and watched as the victim, while screaming, swallowed in one piece, then, as if they done their job well, flying to their cave.

Oliver: - Well, this is not how I planned this… But it’s still perfect.

Daniel: - One less asshole.

Oliver laughed at Daniel's joke.

Jaxxon: - Boys... We just lost one of our crew mates. Let's not make him a joke, at least after his death. Even if he was a real asshole.

With this, all three laughed.

Sophie: - I hope you had your fun of your already dead crew mate...

Jaxxon: - Sorry, I couldn't stand it. As for our original mission... I already have a plan, the second one, because the ever-available ass has fell out.

All three laughed again.

Jaxxon: - Sorry, that was really the last one... My plan is the next: We'll wait and camp until it's evening. As the sun goes down and our beast is asleep, one of us walks over to see if there are any eggs or not. If there is, he’ll bring it, if not, we will go back to the ship and figure out what to do. Because the eggs are supposed to be heavy, I and Sophie fell out. Daniel and Oliver, which one of you can steal and hide better?

Daniel: - Well... Judging from my past, that’s me.

Oliver: - You may know these better, but I have the best knowledge here about dragons. I'm going!

Daniel: - Okay, I don't mind.

They camped near the cave. They waited until midnight to make sure the terrain was clear, then Oliver headed to the cave.

When he went inside the cave, he saw two dragons. The black one they had met, who alive ate their crew mate and a red one, was probably the female. They had two eggs in front of them. One brown and one red.

Oliver sneaked closer to pick up the eggs. When he reached for the eggs, he heard a soft snort from the male. He looked up, hoping he wouldn't wake them up. Luckily no. When he calmed down, he thought for a second that he had to caress one of the dragons at least one. He won't have any more options. So, he began caress the male at his head.

Daniel stepped behind and whispered something in his ear.

Daniel: - What the hell are you doing?!

Oliver: - What are you doing here?!

Daniel: - I came to see if everything is alright.

Oliver: - Here? Everything is alright. Take the eggs. I'll be here for a while.

Daniel: - Sophie won't be happy ...

With that, Daniel took the two eggs and walked out.

Oliver whispered to the dragon.

Oliver: - What a beautiful creature! How soft yet hard your scales are.

The dragon slowly opened his eyes. Something constantly touched him, unfamiliar to him, and he heard a sound all the time.

Oliver: - Oh! Hi my beauty! Sorry to wake you up. Hope I don't bother.

The dragon roared, ignoring what he had said to him.

Oliver: - Relax, relax! There is nothing wrong!

Oliver didn't move. His love for dragons became his doom. He also got swallowed in one piece.

When Daniel at the exit suddenly heard a huge roar that could only mean one thing: Oliver woke the dragon up. Daniel shook his head as he began to run. Although it was not easy, because he had to take care of the two eggs.

When he got back to the others, they were just looking at him, asking with their gesture why he was running.

Daniel: - We don't have much time, we have to go! That's it for Oliver. Everyone run to the ship!

They didn't understand what was going on until they heard the second roar.

Daniel: - He just noticed it, we need to go! Now!

Everyone set off towards the ship, which had been waiting for them for some time. The fake-error has long been fixed by Gill. The android was waiting for the crew on board. When he saw them running through the glass, he immediately opened the door so they could leave as soon as possible.

Jaxxon was the furthest away from the ship, running behind. When they got on the ship, they closed the door immediately.

Sophie: - Wait... Where's Jaxxon?

Daniel: - Jaxxon is still out there. There! I see him!

Jaxxon ran towards the ship that was about to leave.

Jaxxon: - Wait! I am here too! Don't leave me here!

There was something soft under his feet. He looked down. He saw a tongue there. That was the last thing he'd ever see before the great darkness.

Sophie: - He’s dead... Let's go Gill, now!

Gill: - Roger that.

The ship left the LV-621.

Sophie: Logbook 426. One of the ship's engines was defective. We made a forced landing. We discovered a new species on the planet, dragons. Crew members Oliver Harriston, Able Butt and Jaxxon Fright are dead. The cause of death in all three’s case: a dragon ate them alive. Survivors: Gill, the android, Daniel Robinson and myself, Sophie Mars. In accordance with the contract concluded by Weyland-Yutani, a sample of the discovered species was taken. We brought two eggs. End of logbook.

Daniel: - The sacrifice of the victims won't be useless, will it be Gill?

Gill: - It won’t, just like yours.

After Gill's statement, Mom had driven into them such a strong electricity shock that they died instantly.

Gill: - I start the recording of Logbook 426 again. One of the ship's engines had failed. We made a forced landing. We discovered a new species on the planet, dragons. Crew members Oliver Harriston, Able Butt, Jaxxon Fright, Daniel Robinson, and Sophie Mars are dead. Cause of death: a dragon ate them alive. The dragon eggs are safely arrived and now on the board. End of logbook.

It's been twenty years since the eggs were brought out of the planet. In twenty years, the company bought the planet, the eggs hatched, and the babies were immediately tested. They bombarded their bodies with growth sera to grow as quickly as possible to have their offspring.

The plan worked well. They have new eggs. But these eggs weren't like the previous ones, the originals. They might not be told by anyone, but they were genetically modified. They were further developed to prove in subsequent experiments that they would be perfect hosts for the new weapon.

Dr. Grizzly and Weyland are only separated by a glass from sleeping dragons and their eggs. But this glass was strong enough to withstand the strongest attack.

Weyland: - Is everything going well, Dr. Grizzly?

Dr. Grizzly: - Yes, everything is as planned. They will hatch tomorrow and grow enough on the next day to start the final test.

Weyland: - I'm glad to hear that.

With Weyland left the room. Grizzly left alone. Grizzly had always known that he was doing great things. He did not hesitate to say yes to Weyland when he personally asked if he would work for the company. He didn't know the details, he couldn't know it, but yes, if he accepts that, there is no going back. The company has control over his life. Grizzly shook his head. "If this fails, then they will surely kill me..." he thought. There were a couple of reports of his dirty past, the company recorded them all. There he could read that what had happened to the crew of the 422 carrier who had found the dragons was that nothing really had gone wrong on the ship. That there were really survivors, but the company couldn't allow anything to turn out.

Morning… What a beautiful sight. For many, this moment is a joy. But there are those who can’t wait for the next day because that may be their last.

The dragon babies hatched in the morning. They do not yet know what they are waiting for, they do not yet know what their fate will be tomorrow.

Dr. Grizzly: - Five eggs, four hatched. The fifth proved to be too weak. This is usually the case with genetic modifications. 80% is acceptable.

Weyland: - From here I take control.

Dr. Grizzly: -But…

Weyland didn't even speak, just waved. The soilders took Dr. Grizzly out of the way, so Weyland could do the job.

Weyland: - Well, my little ones, tomorrow you'll get your true form. In the meantime, just relax.

While Weyland was watching the dragons, Mom and Dad were busy with the little ones. The little ones tried their wings awkwardly, playing with each other.

In the evening they were tired, but they were already bigger than in the morning. Dr. Grizzly told the truth. The growth has really been accelerated.

The big day had come. Weyland and Grizzly got up early to start the real experiment Weyland had been waiting for it, he waited twenty years.

Weyland waited behind the glass, which was developed to withstand even the acid blood of the xenomorphs. There were no dragons in front of the glass. Closed eggs. Alien eggs. They just waited for the host to arrive before their destiny would come for their contents.

Weyland: - Bring the test subjects. It's time to start the operation.

With this, the present staff set off for the dragons, except for Grizzly. Where can he be? He had been waited for this moment for a long time. Something happened to him? Weyland found out what information he had in his hands? We don't know, we never heard of him anymore.

The dragons arrived in the room in deep sleep, where the eggs were awaiting them. As soon as there was no one else in the room, Weyland pressed a button, which released the eggs from their captivity. At first the inhabitants of the eggs didn’t felt that there are creature close to them, but then the eggs opened. The facehuggers flew out of them almost immediately and stuck to the sleeping dragons’ face.

Gregor: - The impregnation was successful, sir.

Weyland: - I'm glad to hear that. You can go.

Hours passed. The Facehuggers slowly fell off the dragons. But they are already tied up, with a thick tube at their chests. Prepared for the birth of the future weapons. Already during the experiment, the xenomorph dragon hybrids got their name. Not in vain, since everything in the report must be recorded, and it must be possible to distinguish them.

The four already infected dragons also had this code name, but since they only needed for the experiment, they got a simple name: Dhost1-5.

Gregor: - Dhost1, 2 and 4 pulse okay. Dhost3 was lost during impregnation.

Dai: - Is everything okay with the hybrid chestbursters?

Gregor: - Didn’t checked yet ... Specimen A is a bit weak, but Specimen B and D are fine.

Dai: - Give Dhost1 an injection, we can't lose one more.

Gregor: - Understand.

Weyland entered the room, where Dai and Gregor intervened with the other employees.

Weyland: - What are the results so far, Doctor?

Dai: - I'm sorry to say that, but Specimen C has been lost and the host is dead. Also, A isn’t in bright condition too. Dhost1 has just received an injection to get its condition better.

Weyland: - Gregor ... It was your business to take care of them. You haven't done your job. You know very well that the safety of the beings is more important, than anything. You are breaking the principle of the company with this.

Gregor: - I'm sorry, sir. It won’t happen again!

Weyland: -It won’t, at least with you. You can take him.

Gregor: - Please sir. Don't do this to me!

Weyland shook his head as the soldiers took Gregor away.

Weyland: - Why my best people always has to make mistakes?! Dai, I hope you won't make any.

Dai: - Of course sir, I won't!

The dragons woke up in the meantime. They roared, they didn’t know what’s happening with them. They couldn't move. They saw their sibling as being taken away. It’s body has been cooled down for a long time, has stopped moving a long time ago. Suddenly they felt great pain in their chest, something moving there, something moving inside them. What could this be? So far, they haven't felt it. They looked at each other, whining in pain, the whole room shaking. Blood drops appeared on their chest and blood began to splash.

Three loud screams. dragon-like, but not entirely. At Dhost2’s and 4’s chest one-one head appeared and then the rest of the beings. Something was wrong with Specimen A. It whined with its siblings, but nothing broke up its chest. Maybe they lost A too.

Weyland: - Dai, go in and look at what it is with A.

Dai: - But sir... Couldn’t anybody else go in?

Weyland gestured to the soldiers whose pushed Dai into the room and then closed the door behind him. Dai stood up and walked closer to Dhost1. He was afraid, but either this or the eternal darkness. He walked closer, but before he could examine it, he had to remove the tube out of the way. He cut its chest open with a strong scalpel to see why Specimen A didn't break through his chest. While they were watching at Dai, Specimen B and D slid back into the hosts' body and came out of it elsewhere to attack Dai.

Dai: - There's nothing sir.

That was his last word before he shouted. He received an attack from both sides. Then A jumped into his mouth, killing Dai.

Weyland didn't need more. He pressed the button and released sleeping gas on them.

Weyland: - I declare the experiment was successful. Capture the creatures. We still need them.

After being captured, a name burned on their foreheads which stuck on them during the experiments. More specifically: A, B and D.

The biggest difference between them and the Xenomorph was that they resembled more to the host body, though this was due to the experimental changes. Also, they had eyes as well. Of course, the radar orientation remained, but now they couldn't just rely on it.

Outwardly, not only this one was the difference, but also the fact that in many places the host’s colours were preserved or there was a slight change in the hue.

The creatures retained the genetic modification of the acceleration of development, at least it seemed. They soon evolved into adulthood. Not in the xenomorph developmental system was followed by the beings though. This hybrid combination was called xenoderg. The experiments could continue.

This task was entrusted to Dr. Dark, or at least how everybody called him. His original name was unknown, a typical jailbird. Weyland saved him from the poisoning injection when it turned out that several people were killed by his experiments. His experiments had two main goals: guiding people, making them obey, and equipping people with bioweapons. He was close to find a solution when the police jailed him.

Weyland has been taking care of him for thirty years. He had already asked for his help in many experiments, always in the coarser, more secretive. He trusted him the most, since he had repeatedly sworn to him for saving his life. Although, he could not go back to earth, he was always accompanied by two guards, but at least he could live.

He was probably the only employee who knew the most secrets of the company. But they didn't kill him, no, he even got almost everything he wanted. Interestingly, he didn’t take advantage of this opportunity, at least not in every respect. He always asked for the same food, broccoli cooked in A + blood. No one knew why he was asking for this, they thought he gone crazy from the so many experiments or from the prison. In addition, he had a request that even if he could not complete his own experiment, but let him get as many other as possible. He was driven by the spirit of creation. Without it, he would have gone crazy for a long time.

Dark saw his chance to finally work on a true bioweapon, immune to death by experimentation. All he had to do was to control them. Hmm… he could finally get back to his original plan, but here he didn’t had to experiment with people, not for controlling people. Does he still remember how the structure he once were doing, how it works, or has it been forgotten?

It seems to it’s not. He started working on a device that only had to connect to the head and it’s already working. He was working on the battery when he suddenly yelled.

Dr. Dark: - Get me some food, now!

Frederick: - You can't eat here, sir, this is the lab.

Dr. Dark: - Not for eat. It’s fuel for the brain control machine.

The two guards looked at each other, then one of them spoke to the cook on the radio. The chef didn't understand why the lab was asking for food, especially three portions, but he obeyed.

Frederick: - They'll bring it, sir.

Dr. Dark: - Great!

The broccoli has arrived. The usual, slightly reddish colour. Dr. Dark began to chop the vegetables while he talked and stuffed the slices that had already been sized into the empty cell.

Dr. Dark: - Broccoli is a great ingredient for the device, but broccoli cooked in A positive blood is much better. Here, broccoli is modified and when placed in a certain liquid, it is the perfect eternal source of energy. It is also an indispensable accessory, this is why the machine works. To do this, be sure to cook in A + blood. With the others it will not work, depending on the blood group for more or less time will work only.

In the meantime, he had already completed the third tool.

Dr. Dark: - That's it, we're done.

Dave: - I'm glad to hear that. I'll tell Weyland.

Dr. Dark: Wait with that. We need to test it first.

Frederick: - Dave, we can wait a few minutes. Let's see it in action.

Dr. Dark didn't wait for Frederick to finish saying what he had already started and began to place brain controllers on the individuals' heads. He put on his head a helmet too, turned it on, and turned on the three devices that connected it with it.

Dr. Dark: - It's very simple to operate. The creature, which is attached to the end of the brain controller, can be guided by the thought of the helmet wearer. All you need is a thought to turn its head in a particular direction that it feels like its own thought, but in reality, it’s not.

All three creatures looked at Frederick and Dave.

Frederick: That's very interesting. Please continue.

As Dr. Dark continued his pre-planned demo, he secretly pressed the release button.

Dr. Dark: - Not only can the individual do these things, but they can go to a specific place, execute an unspoken command, and then return. You can also set a specific location for it to enter sleep mode.

Then the three hybrids jumped out of their captive handcuffs, straight to the two guards. Their blood freezing scream was not heard by anyone besides Dr. Dark, due to the sound insulation covering the walls. One of them was blood, but the other was white android oil.

Dr. Dark: - I'm sorry, old friends, that I had to do this, but otherwise I wouldn't have got out of here.

Dr. Dark looked at them for a second.

Dr. Dark: - Hmm… That's interesting… I didn't even know Dave was really an android… I could use him, reprogram him. This way I can't do it, its main parts are damaged.

He watched them for a while, then left the room, A, B and D followed him, but without a trace. The alarm was not turned on by them, because of their radar they were skilfully bypassed everything.

Because of the time spent here, he easily navigated in the building, without having to use a map. Still, he stopped for a while. Kill Weyland first, or go home, get out of here as soon as possible, and complete his old plan: to rule the earth. He couldn't decide. He thought until an unexpected guest disturbed him.

Wayne: - What are you doing here alone, Doctor? Where are your assistants?

Little Wayne, still a kid. She knows nothing about what's happening on this planet. While her parents are at work, she walks alone. She never broke a rule. Originally, they couldn't bring kids here, but they changed it when they found out that this way the employees were much happier and worked faster.

Dr. Dark: - What are you doing here, little girl? You don't usually fool around here, this away from home!

Wayne: - I know, I'm sorry. I'm looking for my mother. She's been working, I haven't met her in a week. I'd love to hug her.

Poor girl, she doesn’t know. Her father didn't have the strength to say that in the lab fire that happened a week ago, among the ten dead was Lizie doctoral student, her mother. Her father has been crying every night ever since. Once Wayne noticed it, but when she approached him, his father said in a trembling voice, "sweet little daughter ...". She didn't understand, for a while she won’t neither.

Dr. Dark: - Come on, let's go home before anyone sees you fooling around.

Wayne: - But I'd love to find my mother.

Her eyes teared, she started to cry. Dr. Dark didn't know what to do. If she starts crying, he’s sure to get caught ...

Dr. Dark: - Alright Wayne... But don't cry for me here! We need to be quiet. Do you understand?

Wayne's eyes glittered and she nodded. The poor girl didn't even know what to expect.

Dr. Dark: - Come on, this is where we must go.

This led them to the half-burned lab where Lizie worked.

There was nothing wrong on the road there, they didn't see any workers there, or androids. Dr. Dark knew the little girl should know the truth at some point. He knew the bodies had since been cleared. And a memorial sign was placed inside, with their names on it.

Slowly they reached, while Dr. Dark had prepared Wayne that she might not like what she would see there.

When they arrived, they went inside. Inside the burned-out lab and the freshly placed plate waited for them. Wayne ran to the board and began to read aloud. As she read it, her eyes became more and more tearful.

Wayne: - This sign commemorates the researchers whose died in the fire during the research: Dr. Nihamme Brown, chief medical officer; Dr. Lardars john, deputy leader, to whom many owe their lives; dr. Lizie Fraud , do …

Wayne couldn't keep reading, she collapsed. She was crying, sobbing. She did not believe what she just read, she did not believe the world, he did not believe that her mother, the sweet, dear, only mother, no longer existed. She felt the world conspired against her.

Dr. Dark let her, he knew that she needed it now. He knew she had to know that her mother was a hero. Her victim was not in vain.

Dr. Dark: - Dr. Lizie Fraud, doctoral student, did the most in research. If she did not has been, the fire would have spread. If she hadn't tried it with her last power to stop the fire, many more would have died, then maybe we wouldn't even live.

Wayne: But then I would be with her, then I could hug her again, then again…

He collapsed again, crying again.

Dr. Dark: - Your mother will always hug you, she will always be here with you. She will always be your guardian angel. What she did was because of you so you could live. I'm sure it was only you who was in her mind, not that it could cost for her life. Remember you will always be with her…

Wayne didn't notice the hand reaching towards her, which grabbed her by the mouth. Her mouth was grabbed tight, and no one could hear her scream. A sharp tail pierced through her chest, blood spattered everywhere. Her lifeless little body felt to the ground.

Dr. Dark: - I'm sorry you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, little Wayne. Even so, your mother died unnecessarily.

With this, Dr. Dark left the lab, where’s Wayne's cry could be heard not so long time ago. In the meantime, he decided to visit Weyland. for this he had to walk through a long corridor in front of the kitchen.

Something was wrong as he walked. The helmet made a sharp noise and stopped. The hybrids were free to move. Dr. Dark started rushing toward the kitchen. The chef stepped out the door just when Dr. Dark got there.

Dr. Dark: - You! In what type of blood did you cook the broccoli?!

Isty: - Why? Does it matter?

Dr. Dark: - You a fool! You ruined everything!

A sharp tail severed the doctor's head, staining the cook with blood as his lifeless body fell to the ground. The cook tried to escape screaming, but in vain. A tongue, a little mouth slammed into his head. He collapsed and never rose again.

The people didn't yet know what awaited them. They didn't know that the three experimental specimens had escaped, that the three xenodergs were now hunting them.

They moved easily through the ventilation ducts, navigating the entire building. For now, they wandered through the building without a target, or so it seemed. Perhaps they were searching for someone or something. They heard two unfamiliar voices. With their radar, they spotted two creatures resembling their captors and the already slain ones. Hunger dictated that they attack them. They had to kill them to satisfy their stomach's needs.

Allen: - ...You're right, although I still don't understand why I ever thought I would be right against you...

Kris: - You could learn from what happened so far!

They both laughed. During their laughter, they heard a noise from above. They both stopped laughing and kept their attention above, neither of them spoke, at least for a while.

Allen: - What do you think that was?

Kris: - Shh!

Allen: - But this...

Kris looked at Allen.

Kris: - I told you to shut up!

Allen looked at him, he looked up again. The source of the noise was already waiting there, it grabbed him. He screamed and then died. Allen's feet rooted to the spot, he screamed. The next moment, silence reigned in the hallway, just as it did before. Now no one was talking anymore, now no one was walking. Only their blood could signal that someone had been here recently.

In the cafeteria on the third floor, Eddy and Earl were talking. They hadn't started eating yet. They were still waiting for someone.

Earl: - We've been waiting for them for over an hour. If they're not here within five minutes, I'm going to start eating.

Eddy: - As you think... But wait... Allen and Kris don't usually run late, especially when it comes to food. They usually are here before us, even though they come up from the minus third floor to eat with us.

Earl was about to take a bite of his sandwich but instead placed it back on the table.

Earl: - You're right, something is not right... Come on, let's find them.

Eddy: - Are you crazy?! We don't have permission to go down there!

Earl: - True... So what should we do?

Eddy: - Let's inform Weyland.

Earl: - Because he'll take two research interns seriously... Idiot!

With that, Earl gave Eddy a playful slap.

Eddy: - Ouch... Please, let's try, I beg you.

Earl: - Fine...

Earl stood up from the table and went to the phone, which provided direct contact with Weyland.

Earl: - Hello? Sir, I apologize for the disturbance! My name is Earl Flute, a research intern. I contacted you because two researchers, Dr. Allen Mike and Dr. Kris Adverse, haven't arrived in the cafeteria for an hour, even though they are never late.

Weyland: - Thank you for the report. I will investigate the matter.

With that, Weyland hung up the phone.

Weyland: - Attention, all units! Two researchers, Dr. Kris Adverse and Dr. Allen Flute, have gone missing on the minus third floor. Check the specimens to see if they are present. Their well-being is more important than anything.

The search began. A spacecraft was released, and a complete lockdown was ordered. One of the passengers on that ship was Weyland Yutani.

Armed guards occupied the minus third floor. One group searched for the two researchers, while the other headed to the xenoderg room, where Dr. Dark was working on his device.

Doug: - Reporting, two guards have been killed, and the xenoderg cell is empty. I repeat, the xenoderg cell is empty!

With that, all room doors were locked. The researchers and staff working there didn't understand what was happening. Panic ensued, but thanks to the soundproof walls, it couldn't be heard outside.

Both teams focused on searching for the xenodergs. The task was more challenging than it sounded: to capture them alive and unharmed.

In every room, only one person didn't panic, just one, and he didn't have blood. He was a synthetic creature, an android. Each android repeated the same thing.

Androids: - Everyone calm down. There's nothing to fear. This is just a drill.

In one of the labs, specifically A38, one man couldn't take it anymore. He started shaking the android.

Bart: - Are you malfunctioning? This is not a drill!!! We've never had this kind of drill before!

He stopped shaking it and turned to the others.

Bart: - I'm getting out of here. Who will help me?

Troy: - I can't allow that!

With that, the android started choking Bart.

Ana: - Let him go!

Ana began hitting the android's head with a screwdriver. Suddenly, its head detached and fell to the ground. White fluid splattered everywhere. Bart was saved. Gasping for air, he quickly discarded the android's body.

Bart: - Thanks.

Ana: - You're welcome. I knew something was wrong with it... Well, this was it... Damn androids... they infiltrate everywhere and then go berserk.

A man stepped out of the crowd, who had been observing them. The panic had subsided since then.

Flex: - Androids have always been like this. They follow the boss's orders.

Ana: - Weyland wouldn't do something like this to us.

Flex: - He would be the first to kill us if we found out any company secrets, sweetie.

Bart: - Enough with the chit-chat... As I originally said, I'm leaving. Who's coming with me?

The majority of the crowd didn't move.

Bart: - Okay. Then, team, who goes first? Just kidding, of course it's me. Flex, come on, give me a boost.

When Bart was on Flex's shoulder, he began removing the grate of the ventilation shaft. With the final screw removed, the grate fell off. Bart started crawling inside. The others followed: Ana, Linda, Max, and finally Flex. They began crawling in one direction, hoping to get out of the ventilation and the building as soon as possible.

As they progressed through the ventilation, they heard screams and gunshots. They were coming from the corridors. Then silence fell again.

Ana: - What the hell was happening out there?!

Flex: - If I had to guess, my friend, I'd say one of their secrets got loose.

They reached an exit from the ventilation when they heard screams from behind. Linda burst into tears.

Linda: - They should have come...

Max: - It's too late for them now... Come on, before it becomes too late for us too.

With that, they jumped out of the ventilation, straight into another lab. But this lab had no people, at least not living ones. There was only a child's lifeless body in the burnt-out laboratory.

Flex: - Wayne!

Flex's colleagues had never seen this side of him. Every day, he passed by his wife's old lab, but he never cried, never shed a tear. But now, now he ran to the little lifeless body, embraced it, and sobbed.

Bart: - Flex, we...

Ana immediately interrupted.

Ana: - Bart... Just leave it for now. He needs to mourn his poor little girl.

Flex: - She always knew she shouldn't come here... Since her mother isn't with us... She always asked... When will she come home... Since then... Every time, when I wasn't at home, she looked for her... But she never ventured in here... I couldn't bring myself to tell her... That her mother is no more... It's my fault!

Ana: - It's not your fault. If you had known this would happen, you would have told her.

Flex: - If I had told her, she would still be alive!

After the shouting, they suddenly fell into silence. They heard noise from the corridor. They looked at the door. A guard appeared there.

Linda: - What now?!

Ana whispered to them.

Ana: - Shh!

Adam: - Stay calm, I'm with you. Weyland... sent us to hell. The androids attacked us... When we shot those things...

Bart: - What things? Are there still survivors? Speak!

Adam: - Dragon-like and non-dragon-like creatures. There are still survivors, but not many. I lost contact with them a while ago.

Max: - Weapons?

Adam: - Yes, there are, in the corridors.

Max smiled, almost danced.

Max: - Let's go!

Ana: - What about Flex?

Flex: - I'll stay here with my daughter.

Bart: - Your daughter went to a better place. You must accept that. But you must keep living, so that the memory of your daughter and your wife can live on.

They started heading towards the door. Before stepping through the door, they looked back to see if Flex was coming. He didn't come.

Bart: - Stay strong, buddy! I hope we'll meet again!

Flex didn't respond; he was lost in his own grief.

The others, led by Bart, set out to search for weapons. Adam walked beside Bart.

Bart: - What do we know about these creatures?

Adam: - They use the ventilation system to move around. They attack from ambush. Some take their victims somewhere, while others kill them on the spot.

Bart: - Do they move alone or in groups?

Adam: - Sometimes they attack alone, but other times they coordinate their attacks as a group.

Bart: - Hmm... So they're not as dumb as I thought.

Adam: - No... They're much smarter than they appear.

Linda: - Hey guys, what's that?

Linda pointed to an egg-like object located at the staircase leading from the corridor, which had always been kept closed.

Ana: - I don't know, but let's keep going...

Max: - I'll check it out!

Ana: - Max, this is crazy.

Max just winked at Ana and approached the egg. The others watched from behind. Max touched it.

Max: - It's made of some interesting material, covered in slime. Come on, let's tr...

Max couldn't finish his sentence. The egg opened, and a creature, a facehugger, jumped out and latched onto his face.

Linda: - Max!

Everyone rushed over. They quickly pulled Max away from the egg. They tried to remove the creature from him, but the more they touched it, the tighter it clung.

Bart: - This won't work... We have to leave him here.

Linda: - But...

Bart: - Linda... It's either him or us.

Ana hugged Linda. Flex appeared at the end of the corridor. He ran towards the others, carrying a weapon for each of them.

Flex: - Guys! Wait!

Everyone looked at him, and Bart spoke up.

Bart: - Finally, buddy! I thought you weren't coming!

Ana noticed something.

Ana: - Watch out!

Flex: - There's nothing in front of me...

As he ran, a tail, a tentacle, grabbed his leg from the ventilation shaft. Flex screamed and disappeared into the ventilation. The weapons fell off his neck.

Bart: - Damn it!

Linda: - What do we do now? Max is lying here, unconsciously, with something on his head. And Flex was taken by something...

Bart: - We keep going.

Linda: - And what about Max?

Adam grabbed Max and put him on his back.

Adam: - Will this work for you?

Linda: - Yes, thank you.

Ana: - That's settled, but what about the creature?

Adam: - We can cut it off in the medical room.

Linda: - No!...

Everyone looked at Linda.

Linda: - I mean... It might tighten its grip and kill him in the process.

Ana: - True... Then what the hell do we do?!

Adam: - It's worth a try.

Linda and Ana nodded. While Bart didn't agree with them, he knew it was a bad idea, but he didn't say anything. So, they headed towards the medical room.

On their way to the medical room, there was no problem except for one.

Adam: - Something is not right here... Something is really fucking wrong here...

Bart: - Adam, calm down!

Adam: - Where the fuck are the bodies?!

Bart: - There are a few here...

Adam: - There should be so many more! They caught the remaining members of my squad here...

With that, Adam collapsed.

~-.-~

...

Adam: - There's one! Open fire!

Mark: - There are too many, sir!

Weis: - We can't handle this... Mmmm...

Adam: - What's wrong, Weis?

Frank: - They got them, bastards!

Adam: - Mark, give me a status report! Mark!

Ben: - Mark disappeared!

Adam watched as his men fell one by one. Some disappeared, some had something on their faces and were motionless. Three of them remained alive, but Ben was injured.

Ben: - Get out of here, I'll hold them off.

Adam: - No! I'll get you out of here, buddy!

Ben didn't care about what his old friend and superior said.

Ben: - Come on, you fuckers! I'm here! Attack me!

Frank: - Come on, let's go...

Adam: - But... Ben...

Adam watched as the xenomorphs tore Ben apart. Despite the pain and adrenaline, he screamed with his last ounce of strength, then collapsed in eternal silence, his lifeless body falling to the ground.

Adam didn't know what to do. He was rooted to the spot. He had just witnessed his friend die. "Those bastards executed him!" he thought.

Frank: - Come on! For fuck's sake! Let’s go!

Frank grabbed him by the shoulder and began dragging him until he regained consciousness.

Frank: - We're far away from them now. We can rest here for a bit...

This was Frank's last word. Something pulled him into the ventilation shaft, where he disappeared. Adam continued to flee, fueled by adrenaline, caring about nothing else.

...

~-.-~

Bart: - Adam, are you okay? Adam!

He shook Adam. He stood up, his eyes filled with tears. It was clear that he was not present in the moment. They knew he was reliving what just had happened.

Linda: - Adam, are you okay?

Adam seemed like a different person. He was once again the tearless, strong military officer.

Adam: - Yes. We can keep going.

Bart nodded.

Ana: - Uh... um...

Adam: - What is it, Ana?

Ana: - What happened to... that thing?

Bart: - It's on Max... or maybe not...

Adam: - Don't joke around! It must still be on him.

Adam looked at Max. To his surprise, it wasn't there.

Adam: - What the hell? Where the fuck did it disappear?!

Linda: - How is Max?

Adam: - He's breathing. He just hasn't regained consciousness yet.

Bart: - Then let's stick to the original plan: find a way out.

Everyone agreed with that.

Adam: - We just need one exit that isn't locked.

Bart: - The main entrance?

Adam: - Locked.

Linda: - Come this way! I know an exit that might not be locked.

Everyone just looked at Linda. How could she know of a viable escape route? No one understood.

Bart: - We don't have any other ideas, I suppose.

Linda: - There's a nearby elevator. We need to go down to the minus third floor.

Bart: - We can't go down there without permission...

Linda winked at Bart, then headed towards the elevator. She glanced back at the others.

Linda: - So, are you coming or staying behind?

They all headed towards the elevator and one by one got in.

Bart: - So, now show us the way forward.

Linda took out a card. It wasn't her name on the card, but the android's that Ana killed to save Bart.

Bart: - Are you sure it will work?

Linda: - Do you remember whose card this was?

Bart: - Yes. It belonged to that fucking android.

Linda: - Exactly! And that could mean it has access everywhere.

Ana: - And why do you think that?

Linda: - Because of this...

She touched the card to the reader and then pressed the button. The door closed, and the elevator started moving downward with them.

The elevator stopped between the second basement and the third basement. The emergency light was flashing red.

Adam: - Damn it! We're stuck here...

Max: - Where... Where am I?

Bart: - Welcome back! Did you sleep well, sleeping beauty?

Max: - Bart?! What are we doing in the elevator?

Bart: - Your girlfriend missed you, lovey-dovey.

Linda: - Hey! I'm not his girlfriend!

Max: - Did you miss me, sweetheart?

He winked at Linda, who immediately slapped him.

Linda: - You jerk! You know I love you...

Max caressed his cheek, which was red from the slap.

Max: - Yo... Ouch!

He felt immense pain in his chest and held it with both hands.

Ana: - Max! What's wrong?

Linda smiled subtly.

Max: - Something is moving inside me! Something wants to break out!

Bart: - Everyone, get your weapons ready!

Max screamed in agony, paying no attention to the command Bart gave.

Linda: - No! Let him live!

Adam: - Can't you see he's suffering? We have to do it.

Linda: - No! It's for Weyland!...

Everyone looked at Linda. "It's for Weyland...", she let it slip. But she already had the gun pointed at Bart. She knew she couldn't get out of this.

Bart: - What do you mean, it's for Weyland?

Linda: - Linda-w573 android, is reporting to Weyland Yutani that the escaping team has been compromised. Plan B is in effect. I repeat, the escaping team has been compromised. Plan B is in effect.

The team listened in astonishment. Suddenly, amidst Max's scream, they heard another scream. A creature burst out of his chest, blood splattering everywhere. Adam was quick, he sent a bullet into the creature's head. The acidic blood splattered on Linda's leg, instantly corroding it. Linda also shot at Bart, but due to losing balance, she only hit his hand. Her white "blood" spilled onto the ground, seeping through the corroded holes caused by the acid.

Bart exclaimed and then emptied an entire magazine into the android's head and body.

Bart: - Ah! You fucking android! Fuck your mother! Ah!

Adam: - One bullet would have been enough... Now we have a magazine less of ammunition...

Bart: - Sorry... But it felt good anyway.

Ana: - What now? The elevator doesn't move forward. Max is dead. Linda turned out to be an android. We're not threatened by her anymore. There might not be an exit here. We're trapped in the elevator.

Ana burst into tears, seeing no way out from here.

Adam: - I know a way out from here.

Bart: - Then tell us!

He pointed upward, towards the emergency exit of the elevator, while starting to explain his idea.

Adam: - The ventilation system...

They can escape through the ventilation system from this tight situation, from the elevator, but they will end up on the minus third level where Linda originally wanted to take them. Why did she want to take them there? Maybe she wanted to eliminate them there and safely transport the little alien? We will never know.

Ana: - Who's going first?

Adam: - I will. You haven't used a weapon in real action yet, but I have.

Bart: - Yeah, earlier I didn't unload a whole magazine into a fucking android...

Adam: - I meant a moving target...

Bart shrugged, then nodded. With that, they started climbing out of the elevator and into the ventilation shaft. After a while, a slimy membrane started covering the ventilation shaft.

Bart: - What the hell is this?!

Adam: - I think it's better if we don't know.

Ana: - I agree.

Adam: - I can see the end now.

Bart: - Then what are you waiting for? Move already!

Adam picked up the pace, but grumbled to himself in the process.

They jumped out of the ventilation system and were surprised to find that the walls here too, were covered in an unknown slimy substance, which also affected part of the ventilation system.

Ana: - Why are th...

Bart suddenly covered Ana's mouth and whispered to her.

Bart: - Sssh! Be quiet! You don't want these to wake up!

Bart pointed at a group of dormant, immobile xenomorphs. Ana was shocked to see how many there were. Due to the faint light seeping in, she couldn't see all of them, but she counted at least twenty.

Ana: - Why aren't they attacking? And...

Adam interrupted.

Adam: - If they are here, it means...

Bart didn't wait for the sentence to finish either.

Bart: - We're in deep shit.

Adam: - The queen is here...

Ana: - If the queen is here, then Flex could be here somewhere too. Maybe it's not too late to save him!

One of the aliens moved towards them. All three of them started to back away, but it didn't come closer. It didn't pay attention, since it didn't receive any orders. It focused on its resting.

Bart: - That was close...

Ana: - Which way now, Adam?

Adam: - Definitely not that way... Let's go this way.

With that, they started moving in the opposite direction, not disturbing the sleeping xenomorphs on the corridor. They had been walking forward in the corridor for a while, in eerie silence, fearing every sound they heard down there. A man's voice broke the silence, coming from the room next to them.

???: - Will someone free me?! For fuck's sake! Can anyone hear me?!

Ana: - That's Flex! Flex, we're coming!

Flex: - Ana?! Come this way! I'm here!

The three survivors rushed towards him. Around him, there were dead soldiers, tied up in the same slimy substance to the wall. Everyone had the same thing in front of them: an opened egg, an ovomorph, and a deceased creature, a facehugger.

Bart: - Those fuckers infected him too.

Ana: - But we can't let him die here!

Bart: - What the hell can we do?! If that... thing comes out of him, we're screwed!

Flex: - Free my hand and give me a weapon...

Ana: - But...

Flex: - We don't have time, Ana... This is how you'll help me.

Adam didn't hesitate, he took action. He freed his hand and placed a pistol into it. That pistol was the one he first used in combat. He always kept it with him, it was his favorite weapon, you could say it was his lucky charm. When it was in Flex's hand, he nodded.

Flex: - Thank you, guys... My dear family, we'll meet again soon...

A loud gunshot, and the weapon fell heavily onto the slimy floor.

Flex didn't move anymore. But his chest still moved, and an alien scream could be heard.

Bart: - Die, you bastard!

With that, he unleashed a few bullets where the little life was moving. Its acidic blood corroded Flex's body and the floor.

They continued to look at Flex, mourning him. They knew that time was precious, but they still stayed. They felt the need to pay their respects to their fallen comrade.

From behind them, they heard familiar and unfamiliar screams, as well as unfamiliar panting. They turned around, and then Adam spoke.

Adam: - It’s game over man! Game over...

The three xenodergs rested by the queen, guarded by two praetorians, allowing her to lay her eggs undisturbed. Silence prevailed. Only the queen's panting and breath broke the silence. The three xenodergs could rest here peacefully, as the queen was their creation. They were above her, she’s listening to them.

The praetorians sensed movement in the distance but paid no attention. They focused on their task: protecting the queen. The movement ceased after a few minutes. The shouting, to which they had grown accustomed, didn't interest them.

A massive blast shook the level, startling the three xenodergs from their rest. The queen detached from her egg sac, and with the praetorians leading the way, the three xenodergs ran towards the sound. They knew danger awaited them there and had to eliminate it.

They waited at the door before the source of danger, allowing the left behind xenomorphs to catch up. Then, with a loud hiss, they drew the attention of the three intruders.

Adam and the others didn't know what to do. It has already happened before their eyes, how one of the creatures among the six attacked and killed them with a single blow. They looked at each other, but no one moved. The humans were too afraid to move, and the xenomorphs and xenodergs waited for something.

Bart couldn't stay calm any longer; he had waited too long. He raised the weapon in his hand, aimed at the creatures, and began running towards them.

Bart: - Die motherfuckers! Die!

The xenomorphs and xenodergs didn't move; they didn't feel threatened. Not a single bullet hit its mark. The magazine emptied, and the weapon only clicked.

Bart: - Damn it...

He stood before the creatures. The xenomorphs stared at him, the xenodergs at each other. Bart's legs were rooted, unable to move.

Ana: - Bart! Watch out!

Bart: - Huh?

Bart looked at Ana, then back at the creatures. He didn't see anything else; a facehugger attached itself to his face, refusing to let go.

Adam: - Fucking hell! There must be a way out of here. This can't be the end!

Ana looked up at the ceiling, at the ventilation. She wanted to tell Adam her idea, but suddenly a drone appeared there.

Ana: - There's no way out. These creatures have sealed off every exit.

Adam: - There's one way out, but it'll be fatal, for all of us...

Ana: - I can't do it... You have to!

Tears welled up in Ana's eyes as she tightly hugged Adam. Adam reciprocated, but kept a constant watch on the door. In one of his hands, he held something tightly. On the index finger of his other hand, there was a safety pin.

The xenomorphs started moving towards them, initiating an attack. However, the xenodergs remained motionless, still waiting for something. Suddenly, the dragon-like creatures began to retreat, but they kept their attention focused inward. When only half a meter separated Adam and the others from the xenomorphs, Adam let out a scream.

Adam: - See you in hell!

Adam opened his clenched fist. A massive explosion devastated the room, wiping out everyone inside, including Adam, Ana, Bart, the drones, the praetorians, and the queen. The xenodergs were no longer near the room during the explosion, they survived it.

The building was no longer under quarantine.

The building's locks were released by someone, or rather, something. The doors swung open. The xenomorphs and xenodergs took control over the planet. They hunted down the creatures outside, one by one or in groups. The useful ones were utilized to increase the population of their own creations. The weaker ones were consumed as food.

The xenomorphs remained at the building, claiming it as their nest. They fully occupied it. They had a new queen, but the xenodergs still held the power.

The xenodergs found a cave for themselves. The xenomorphs took their ovomorphs to them, but only if there was a new batch available. However, among the eggs, there were three distinct ones that resembled the xenomorph eggs but were different.

Xenoderg eggs! One of the three eggs moved, and a leg emerged from its side, followed by a loud, dragon-like scream.
