Kelsie enjoyed being showered with her master, his kind words, deep scrubs with a medium bristled brush that got right down against the skin and he bathed and caressed places she couldn't groom herself. His fingers along her spine made her moan and tremble, then he playfully teased by sliding his paws down her flanks and pressing himself against her wet, soapy rump and groin.

“Oh...my master wishes to mate?" Kelsie asked, looking back over her shoulder.

“No, no, my dear, sweet Doe, I was merely playfully teasing. Relax love, I'm no feral stag in rut!" Pete chuckled as he caressed her tail, then slid it through his hands, until it was wet and sticky with soap.

“That feels so wonderful master - “ Kelsie shivered and nodded twice. “I do so love it when you play with my tail!"

“I love all of you, dear Kelsie, not just this beautiful tail of yours!"

Kelsie giggled, that sweet, innocent laugh of hers, as she flagged her sticky tail teasingly against his belly.

“Uff...keep that up little doe and I swear - “

Kelsie frowned, then realisation spread across her muzzle, before she smiled and laughed again.

“Not yet master, as much as I want to learn – I don't think my body will let me, I'm still...quite..."

“I understand love, trust me – in time, you'll feel more pleasure when we make love, but I don't want to rush it!"

Frowning, Kelsie thought on this, then nodded and lowered her head, before she giggled as Pete slipped his hands down her flanks and began soaping and massaging her udder. Soon, she was trembling helplessly, all four cloven hooves clicking on the shower floor.

“Steady love, I can only imagine how pleasurable this must be for you, I don't want you slipping and hurting yourself!"

Kelsie squirmed and quivered – unable to obey, until at last he made her lay down, then gently rolled her onto her side as he started with the soap filled brush, scrubbing her from udder to chest.

As he watched the water sluice off her, he shook his head slowly.

“How did you get so dusty and dirty?"

“I spent most of the day asleep out on the ground." Kelsie whispered, feeling more than a little uncomfortable, but refusing to show the fear at being held on the ground and helpless.

“That explains it then, sounds nice! Lying in the sun, getting all toasty and warm...truly love, its sound wonderful – alright, you're clean now – now to rinse you off, dry you off and we can go to bed, alright?"

Kelsie struggled, then one hoof slipped as she tried to stand, but Pete quickly grabbed her and held her until she stood up. He took the shower rose and began rinsing her off, dragging his fingers backwards through her fur.

After another lovemaking – initiated by Kelsie this time, Pete and her lay with him pressed firmly against her back, cuddling her close. Kelsie shivered, feeling mixed feelings about what she'd shared with her owner – her mind on the border of sleep and wakefulness. She could hear Pete's slow breaths against her neck, his fingers occasionally trembling on her left shoulder yet sleep was reluctant to embrace her.

A niggling urge come from her nether regions, as slowly she prised her eyelids back open and mumbled sleepily. Her urge to urinate began to build, so she timidly crept from the bed and as quietly as she could she crept through the dark house. Nosing open the door, Kelsie breathed in the crisp night air. Her ears flicked too and fro as she stepped across the concrete then out onto the grass. Thoughtfully, she cropped a bit of it here and there, chewing it and her ears still twitching.

Truthfully, she was more asleep than awake, before a bright white light slashed across the distant paddock and she blinked in confusion. It was, to her eyes, about a foot wide stretching from the roadside to the forest edge. Her gaze turned to watch it as it highlighted the trees and shrubs – seemingly looking for something. Curious, she trotted over to the fence – less than a hundred metres from the forests edge.

Never having seen a spotlight, Kelsie had no reference in her mind to identify it – or realise the danger she was putting herself into. Her eyes widened, as there come a loud snort – then the stag she had seen earlier snapped his head up – his majestic body caught in the light – his ears half forward head lifted and his breath coming in foggy pants.

Her ear distantly caught the faint click/clack – something – elusive, surfaced in her mind, before there come a loud crack and the stag screamed and dropped.

No... Kelsie's mind screamed at her. No...not...not again...

Fear sank its claws into her. Adrenaline flooding her system, as some suppressed memory surfaced. It was fragmented. Screams. Flames, Deer shrieking and some running. Flames on their bodies. Humans...

They were dressed in something – dark – faces covered. They carried things that spat fire and dropped deer who writhed and screamed. Other humans carried long, silvery... something – they grabbed screaming deer, slicing open their throats and watching as their blood spurted. They writhed and struggled – drowning in their own blood...

Blood...so much blood...

“No..." Kelsie gurgled, eyes wide in fear.

Kelsie's mind reeled, her salivary glands working overtime, before she gagged and retched. Her stomach felt like it was trying to tear itself out of her belly. So powerful were the muscular spasms. Half chewed grass fell with a wet plop from her muzzle, as she barked and cried – tears streaking down towards her nostrils as she tried desperately to vomit.

Again, that white flash flew across the paddock – then it fell on her – Kelsie screamed, a raw primal cry – as it felt like her eyes were being burned from her head by its merciless gaze...

Kelsie was helpless, her eyes streaming, unable to look away from the white thing that held her transfixed. Suddenly, something broke in Kelsie's mind, and she shrieked and dropped then instinctively rolled to the right, before she leapt back to her cloven hooves and fled back towards the house – screaming like a feral deer. That painful beam followed her, before it was lost as she tore through a thicket.

She hit the door hard, which stunned her and she fell heavily onto the ground.

“Pete!" Kelsie screamed, her voice more feral than human – almost as if she'd forgotten how to speak english. “HELP...PLEASE..."

There come a low moan from inside, then the crash as something hit something else, and then the outside porch light come on and he stepped out – dressed only in a night gown. Kelsie screamed, then jumped at him, knocking him flat as she struggled and wildly fought, her fear overriding her sense.

'Kelsie...KELSIE!" Pete screamed, then he slapped her sharply across the snout.

“They...they're here...they're...kill..." Kelsie babbled, incoherent and tears streaking down her muzzle, mucus dripping from her nose her flanks and sides heaving with her terrified breathing. “Kill..."

“No, oh my dear fawn...no – calm...calm down!" Pete moaned, holding her tight around the shoulders and pulling her as hard as he can, to stop her wild struggles.

“Kill, blood – hurt...humans!" Kelsie squealed.

“Woah...easy – who? What humans...who killed..."

“Stag!" Kelsie suddenly snarled, her lips curling back before she snarled and tore herself free of Pete's grasp and bolted off into the darkness.

Kelsie!" Pete screamed – but only her distant hoof beats were herd, fading into silence...
