A Hanar's Revenge

Part six of my Mass Effect story Do no own anything of the Mass Effect or it character just the story which came from my own twisted mind.

The Hanar know as Opolod sat in the bar and nurses his nutritional supplement thinking about how bad his life had turned out ever since he had asked Commander Shepard to help him smuggle a package for his Krogen former associate on Noveria forcing Opolod to go on the run. Thinking he could hid more easier on the on the Citadel while at the same time planning his revenge on Shepard knowing the human would come back to restock and get missions from the Council. It had taken Opolod a long time to actually reach the Citadel and was disappointed to hear stories of Shepard's death. He almost went back to Hanar when he saw a news report that showed a living Shepard so he began to find a place he could wait for Shepard to show up. Chorta's den was more lively than Opolod was used to but it also gave him a line to info about what was going on around the galaxy. About two months into his vigil Opolod finally caught word that Shepard was on the station. Paying for his drink Opolod set out to a likely path that Shepard would take.

Opolod hit pay-dirt as he came around a corner and ran into Shepard. Shepard uttered a quick apology and began to move away but after hearing about rumors of Shepard's mission Opolod stopped him by saying he had some information related to Collectors. Shepard stopped in his tracks and turned back towards him making Opolod glad that most other species had trouble to distinguishing one Hanar from the other. "Shepard Commander I have data file about the Collectors this way please," Opolod said holding a tentacle out to show Shepard to a pre-arranged place the Hanar had set up for when Shepard come along. When Jesse Shepard came to he looked around and was surprised to find him self in a room the size of the hallway connecting Engineering to the Mako bay back on the Normandy SR-1 before it destruction.
