If you were to live in Jump City, chances are you would be able to stay or...probably run away because in this city...it was home to some of the biggest and baddest and also most powerful or sneaky super-villains in the world, but thanks to the interference of the Teen Titans who defeated the Brotherhood of Evil, crime has slowly begun deteriorating and falling, but yet the Titans were still on the search for Slade since they and him defeated Raven's father Trigon, but Slade hadn't been heard from since that day nor a trace of him were found...but to the Titans, they can relax and not have to deal with trouble from Slade.

At Titans Tower, the day started off like usual, Raven meditating and Starfire also joining her while Robin was doing his daily check-up of the city and of course Beast Boy and Cyborg were playing video games, everything seemed like it was going full swing until..., the alarm sounded and everyone got up. Robin's eyes narrowed behind his mask, "Titans trouble in downtown! Let's move!" He ordered and they all ran out. People ran and screamed as human sized robots with huge blue eye shapes with huge lances, blasters, bazookas began firing or using their lances to slice buildings or at least smash the streets, even bigger ones had huge hammers and also were a dark gray or black with gladiator like helmets on their heads and a few of them were like UFO's except with small wings and were different colors and small blasters. Beast Boy and Starfire looked a little confused as they watched. "Dudes, I'm no smart guy but...aren't robot villains a bit below our usual standards?" The green Titan asked.

"Beast Boy's right, we don't usually fight these mechanical menaces." Starfire added. Robin held a few of his Birdarangs in between his fingers, "Not unless they're doing it for someone...Titans Go!" Robin shouted and the battle was on. Starfire grabbed Robin's hand and spun him around, launching him off as he used the sharp edges of his Birdarangs to slice through the robots while Starfire fired her Starbolts at the flying ones, blowing them up and also using her strength to destroy the huge hammer wielding ones. "Man, Slade and Mod's robots look sane compared to these ones! They just keep coming!" Cyborg said as he fired his arm cannon at a couple. "Well good for the city that the cleaning crew, aka us, are on the job!" Beast Boy giggled but then grew serious as he transformed into his t-rex form and roared loudly, stunning a few of the hammer robots and used his big muzzle and sharp teeth to bite and rip them apart, then transformed into a falcon, flying over the flappers, and then got in between them, the flappers fired but Beast Boy flew up, causing them to fire at each other, destroying them.

"Azarath Mentrion Zinthos!" Raven shouted, using the destroyed streets to fire huge rocks at the robots. But she then saw more coming towards her and the team. Narrowing her eyes through her hood, she fired magical shots of her powers to slice through the mechanical enemies, causing them to blow. But the team could see, no matter how many robots they destroy more and more keep coming, Starfire cautiously looked around then gasped as a green colored flapper robot fired a big laser blast at her, crying out in pain as she slammed to the ground. "Star!" Robin shouted in shock then grunted as one robot punched him. Beast Boy roared in his lion form as he sliced one robot with his sharp claws but was growing exhausted as he shifted back to human form. "Oh man...this is getting hard...I don't know if I can take more!" He panted. "Just who is controlling these things?" Raven asked as she blasted a light blue flapper with a machine gun like blaster.

Then the robots all stopped as they heard their master. "That would be me my dear..." a voice called out and the Titans stopped and looked up, as a huge machine with a chair inside floated high above the Titans and a man was inside it, next to him were two smaller robots, one that was red and black and shaped like an orb and a yellow and black one with the shape of a cube, the man was very tall and also a bit on the chubby side but he had on long black pants and long black boots and a red coat with yellow buttons everywhere. And a very unique mustache and two goggles on his head and blue rimmed glasses over his eyes. "I wasn't exactly planning on meeting you but yet, I am surprised that my robots have managed to capture the attention of the famous Teen Titans, a pleasure to meet you heroes at last." The man grinned. Robin glared at him, "Who are you and what are you doing here?" He demanded.

The man glared back and huffed, "No need to be rude or make any demands Robin, but since you did ask, I'll answer anyway. I am Dr. Eggman, and I've been looking for new real-estate for my plans to build my new base, besides trying to take over cities like Station Square has become so boring nowadays." Eggman smirked. Starfire narrowed her eyes at her and her friends' new enemy, "So I'm guessing you want to destroy our city just so you can take over it, doctor?" She asked.

"Very good my dear, but with you and your other Titans stationed among other parts of the world, I can't have you interfere with my plans, so I'm afraid my robots will have to take care of it, but why waste time using my Egg Pawns, my Flappers or my Egg Hammers to take care of it when i can send in one of my stronger robots?" Eggman smirked as he snapped his fingers and the Titans gasped as they looked up as a huge robot with huge blasters for hands, spikes protruding from its back, a huge metal dome on its head, and a spiked belt along huge feet with cat like claws on its toes and huge blue eyes. "Heh, my new and improved Obliterator Bot will take care of you Titans. Now, destroy them!" Eggman shouted. But before the robot could, a huge burst of wind blew past everyone, a silhouetted figure ran right past Eggman and the team, and the sunlight soon show the figures long blue hair that looked like hedgehog quills, the figure let out a grin and chuckle. "My, that's a pretty snazzy performance there!" He laughed. Beast Boy looked up and gasped softly as his eyes widen at seeing a human boy nearly his age stood at the same height as he was, but there were a few odd features about him, he had two triangular hedgehog like ears on his head, and a hedgehogs tail sticking out from his rear but he was mostly human! He had a mixture of both peach/pale skin while his eyes almost glowed a brilliant green, unlike Beast Boy or Starfire's eyes, this guy's eyes were like Emerald green and he let out a smirk.

"Tsk tsk tsk Eggman, you know you can't have a party without me!" The boy laughed. Eggman growled as the two robots at his side grew nervous. "Huh, I wasn't expecting him to be here." The red and black robot said. "Nor did he think we'd be here!" The yellow and black one agreed. "Ahh! That miserable little hedgehog! I don't have time for this! Fire!" He shouted and the Obliterator Bot let out a huge burst of frames straight at the boy who smirked and soon, to the Titans amazement, ran faster than Kid Flash could. It was almost like he can run at speeds faster then a bolt of lightning or...even the speed of sound it was almost... "Supersonic..." Beast Boy said as he watches the hybrid boy run around the huge robot in circles. "Our new friend sure is fast!" Starfire said in amazement. "Is that even possible to see someone outspeed Kid Flash?" Raven wondered. And then the hedgehog human soon curled up into a ball and began to spin at a very fast pace and soon launched himself, going through the robots chest and then burst on through! The Titans moved out of the way as the robot soon leaned forward and landed on its front.

"Out of the way! It's gonna blow!" The hybrid yelled as the Titans ran out of sight but Beast Boy tripped and yelped, "Ow!" Beast Boy gently tried to get up but gasped as he felt pain shot up his left ankle. "Beast Boy, hurry!" Robin shouted. "I-I can't! I-i think I twisted my ankle!" Beast Boy shouted back. Then the hedgehog human sped by, picking Beast Boy up bridal style. Beast Boy yelped in surprise but held on, "Allow me." The boy winked at Beast Boy, causing the changeling to blush and smile cutely, "Wow, you're light as a feather!" The hedgehog Boy teased. "Ehh I'm a vegetarian I mostly eat tofu and veggies. I don't put on much weight." Beast Boy confessed. They managed to get out of the way just in time as the robot exploded. The Titans and the hedgehog were now safely on the top of a building as Eggman in his Egg Mobile floated up to them, the hedgehog gently setting Beast Boy down and puts his hands on his hips, grinning.

"You always know when to get in my way don't you Sonic?" The doctor snapped. "Hmph, if it means saving innocent lives and destroying your toys Eggman, then yes." Sonic taunted. "You just got lucky, but next time, I won't be so merciful." Eggman promised as he flew off. Robin smiled and then shook Sonic's hand, "Thank you for saving and helping us. It really means a lot." Robin thanked. Sonic shook back and smiled, "No problem. Eggman's nothing more than just an annoyance...but hey I deal with him all the time so it's nothing new." Sonic smiled.

"Man, you are fast! The only other person I know who's fast like that is Kid Flash, but you way out speed him." Cyborg chuckled. Sonic just grinned, "Yeah, everyone thinks I'm way more faster than the Flash and his apprentice but...I'm just a little bit more faster oh and by the way, as you can already guess, my name is Sonic, but I know who you guys are, you're the Teen Titans! Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and...of course, Beast Boy." Sonic smiled as he winked at Beast Boy who blushed and smiled softly. "And I wanna say it's an honor and privilege to meet you guys." Sonic said.

"It's an honor to meet you too sir Sonic." Starfire bowed and smiled. "Likewise." Raven said. Soon, the team and the hedgehog-human decided to spend the rest of day talking about all the adventures they had but, needless to say, the Titans were amazed by Sonic's adventures, but it was Beast Boy who listened closely, smiling and just got a dreamy look in his eyes as he heard Sonic talk, it just felt so good to listen to him, Sonic then stopped and just looked at Beast Boy who kept smiling and looking at him. Sonic chuckled a bit, "You alright Beast Boy?" He asked. Beast Boy squeaked and blushed a bit, running a hand through his hair. "Y-Yeah I'm fine! K-Keep going Sonic." stuttered Beast Boy. And Sonic did but, yet it seemed like he was talking to Beast Boy more, and with that, Cyborg gained a little grin as he and his teammates huddled for a bit.

"You know, if I didn't know better I'd say BB has a crush on our hedgehog guest." He said. "Yes, it seemed as if even though they had just met, Beast Boy feels like he's already fallen for Sonic." added Starfire. "Looks like he's finally starting to move on after what happened with Terra." put in Robin. But, Raven thought differently as she watched Sonic and Beast Boy talk, Sonic giggling and laughing at Beast Boy's jokes and then gently scratched the changeling's chin as he became his monkey form.

As the years had went by, Raven and Beast Boy had been connecting more and becoming good friends and also Beast Boy began to open up more to her, saying he was still hurt and trying to move on after the whole Terra situation. She could tell while Beast Boy was starting to gain feelings for Sonic, there was still something in his heart he felt for Terra but...it seemed like things will have to wait and take time before the two started making a move. Raven was brought back from her thoughts when she heard Cyborg. "You think we should set them up?" He asked Robin and Starfire. Then Raven answered, "No, we should wait and let them decide for themselves." She said firmly. "I actually agree with Raven. Besides, things like this need to take time." Starfire agreed. The boys looked at each other and shrugged but nodded nevertheless. The girls were never wrong and who could argue with their logic.

It was night and everyone had left for bed except Beast Boy and Sonic who were cleaning up dishes after the Titans asked Sonic to stay over for tonight and for dinner. The two were still exchanging stories as they talked. "So, you, Amy, Knuckles and Tails went up to the Space Coloney ARK to stop Eggman, Rouge and Shadow, but as you were closing in, you crashed into an asteroid?" Beast Boy giggled. Sonic set up the last of the dishes up and closed the dishwasher, smirking at his companion. "Yep! And Knuckles began going crazy when the Master Emerald pieces flew out, he kept ranting on needing them back, and we all argued until Knuckles pulled the lever and we all crashed into the ARK, but luckily we managed to get inside." Sonic laughed.

"I'm not gonna lie, Knuckles sounds like a complete.." Beast Boy said and then he and Sonic both say in unison. "Knucklehead!" But then they both began laughing and sighed happily. "You know Beast Boy, while the other Titans are fun to be with...out of all them, you seem like you'd the most fun to be around and honestly, I've never seen or been anyone who almost thinks like me!" Sonic smiled. Beast Boy blushed cutely and smiled as he gently turned around and sat on the counter, "Aww, that's so sweet of you Sonic...you know it's nice of you to say that to me because..." Beast Boy felt his elven ears wilt a bit and looked down at his knees and gently gripped the counter top. Sonic looked a little concerned. "Whats wrong Beast Boy?" He asked.

Beast Boy sighed and looked at the view from the tower to the city, "Anyone who takes one look at me, they always think, 'Well look at that, it's Beast Boy, the prankster and Joker of the Teen Titans, all he does is just crack jokes and never takes things seriously!' I'm just tired of being seen like that. I may not be as smart as Cyborg, athletic or well known as Robin, strong and full of optimism like Starfire or as powerful as Raven. But I just wanna prove that I can fit in just like everyone else like Star, Raven and Cyborg do...I mean...Star's an alien princess from another planet, Raven's a daughter of a temperamental and violent demon, and Cyborg, he was made by science but yet he used to be normal...before he became who he is, and Robin, he's pretty much a normal guy like everyone else...but he's also the adopted son of Batman...and me...well...you already know after I told you everything..." Beast Boy said as he gently hopped off the counter and stared at the view of the city.

Sonic listened to everything to what Beast Boy said and felt bad for him, especially the rest of the Titans. In his eyes, they were more than just a ragtag group of heroes, they were still people who lived hard lives and wanted to fit in, but...yet society and others just couldn't take them seriously. "And I'm assuming that's why you left the Doom Patrol?" Sonic asked as he joined Beast Boy. Beast Boy closed his eyes and sighed sadly as he leaned against Sonic. "Yeah...working with the Patrol was great but...i-i just couldn't handle it...the pressure and Steve's so called advice...he was always so bossy and the Patrol never took me seriously. But yet, with the Titans...it felt so much better to be with people who understand me and knows what I go through." Beast Boy said softly.

"Believe me dude, me and my friends have had our own share of problems. But, yet, people love us and Beast Boy, the people love you...and besides who needs haters. They can hate all they want...but they never bring us down." Sonic smiled as he put his hand on Beast Boy's shoulder, the green boy smiled softly and snuggled up, "Thanks Sonic..." He said.

"Oh and Beast Boy, I wanna ask...do you...wanna go out sometime?" Sonic asked. Beast Boy felt his heart beat against his chest and smiled widely. "You mean like on..." "A date?" Sonic teased. Beast Boy giggled and faced his blue companion. "I'd love to Sonic." And they soon went off together to Beast Boy's room to sleep together but Sonic and the Titans were unaware of a small robot with a camera on its back. Dr. Eggman smirked as he watched and heard everything.

"Hehehehehe! My Spybots always know when to capture really good moments and opportunities for me to learn about my opposition and...it looks like our dear Beast Boy's starting to fall head over heels for that wretched hedgehog Boy Sonic!" Eggman sniggered as he watched. "But sir...if they do fall for each other then...that'll mean bad news for us!" Cubot squeaked in fright. "True but..." Eggman said as he watches his Spybot slowly watch and close in on Beast Boy and Sonic, as they were to get in bed together Beast Boy looked a little hesitant as he slowly climbed in but gently snuggled up with Sonic. "Beast Boy's hesitating...and that hesitation will soon be brought to use...because if I remember reading the Teen Titans old files, thanks to my hacking skills, I was able to find something interesting on Beast Boy. Saying he had an ex and former teammate named Terra, who worked for the Titans old enemy Slade, turns out Terra worked for Slade and fought Beast Boy when he was still in love with her and it says that to this day, our dear boy still harbors feelings for his fallen comrade and...I do believe we can use this to our advantage if he's fallen for Sonic." Eggman smirked, laughing darkly as he watches, the laughter echoed as Beast Boy was now wrapped in Sonic's arms and nervously resting his face against Sonic's warm but lean chest, 'Am I doing the right thing?' he thought.

Next morning Sonic joined the Titans on their usual patrol. No sign of any villains well aside from a few mediocre bank robbers, everything seemed fine and, Sonic also got to knew a few other members of the Titans, especially the mentioned Kid Flash, and his girlfriend and former member of the H.I.V.E. Five, Jinx. "So you used to be a villain till Kid over here changed your mind?" Sonic asked as he, Beast Boy, Kid Flash and Jinx were patrolling around the upper Westside of the city. "Yeah, honestly I dunno why I ever thought being a villain was all that fun...and hanging out with those nitwits in the HIVE was so boring...they always knew how to mess up and they weren't even that smart." Jinx groaned.

Kid Flash chuckled, "Yeah, even the so called genius of the HIVE, Gizmo wasn't even that smart." He laughed. Sonic grinned, "Sounds like Eggman sometimes on a daily basis!" Making everyone and himself laugh. A falcon cry was heard and they looked up and saw Beast Boy flying towards them, he shifted back to normal and landed in a somersault and did a gymnastics pose. "And he stuck the landing!" Beast Boy giggled the turned to his teammates and Sonic. "How'd I do?" He asked. The three comically held three signs. Jinx's was a 10, Sonic's was also a 10 but Kid Flash's said 9.5 making his girlfriend and Sonic stare at him. "What?" Kid Flash asked.

"9.5, really Wally?" Jinx asked with a blank stare. "Well he kinda separated his feet at the end." Kid Flash said and the two began bickering much to the amusement of Beast Boy and Sonic. Then Robin called, "Beast Boy, what's up?" He asked. "Not much Robin, westsides pretty clear on our end. Yours?" He asked. "Clear as well. Let's call it a day." Robin responded. "Over and out." Beast Boy said. Then, Jinx and Kid Flash watch as Sonic gained a little sly grin as he slowly stretches his arm around Beast Boy's shoulders, "You know, with Patrol over...we can get on with...later tonight..." Sonic winked making Beast Boy grin and playfully shove Sonic, "Oh just go you silly little hedgehog." Beast Boy giggled and Sonic sped off making Jinx and Kid Flash gasp at how fast Sonic can go. "Wow...Cyborg was right... he really can go as fast as you Wally..." Jinx said. "Yeah..." Kid Flash said.

"So anyway Beast Boy, what's up with you and Sonic later tonight?" Jinx asked as she looked at Beast Boy who gently smiled. "I'm going on a date, with Sonic." He said.

"Wow! You got a date with him? Nice! He definitely looks like he's a catch." Kid Flash grinned. "But...Beast Boy, aren't you...still in love with Terra?" Jinx asked. Beast Boy gently crossed his arms and looked down, his ears wilting softly, "i-i don't know...maybe...yeah...i-i don't know." Beast Boy said softly as he gripped his hair. The two could see Beast Boy was starting to feel scared. "It's just that ever since I lost Terra when Slade took over, i-i have been trying to find ways to get over her but...i-i just can't. And, when I'm with Sonic...i-i feel myself falling for him like I did with Terra...but i-i'm scared that if I fall in love with Sonic and then...if Eggman attacks or if Slade...wherever he is finds out...it could mean big trouble and...I can't let that happen again." Beast Boy said, tears gently falling down his cheeks. Jinx and Kid Flash knew what Beast Boy meant, they had heard from Raven and Robin about what Slade did to Beast Boy and Terra and understood what Beast Boy was saying.

"Beast Boy, listen to me Slade's long gone, and Eggman hasn't been heard from in a while and, I know you still love Terra but...you need to let go and move on...she would want to you to move on and find someone new..." Jinx said. "You think so?" Beast Boy asked. Jinx winked, "I know so, now go and have your date, enjoy it." She encouraged. And Beast Boy smiled, knowing he can have enough confidence to be on his date with Sonic.

At the Titans Tower, everyone was just relaxing until Beast Boy slowly came out, his hair nicely combed and, wearing a soft white scarf, along with a brown leather jacket and a black tanktop with a paw print on the chest and some denim jeans, "So...how do I look?" Beast Boy smiled. "Wow...man you clean up nice." Cyborg complimented. "Yeah, you look really nice Beast Boy." Robin agreed. "On my planet we usually dress up formal but...you Beast Boy, you look beautiful." Starfire smiled. "It's a look but...there's something missing." Raven said.

Beast Boy curiously tilted his head, "What? I put on cologne, deodorant, brushed my teeth, combed my hair..." Beast Boy listed. "Actually...it's something else...yourself." Raven said. Beast Boy turned around and looked at the mirror and saw his whole green self. "Oh...." Beast Boy said softly. "Actually I think I have a solution." Cyborg winked and held the rings he used when he infiltrated the HIVE academy. "But...don't turn you to Stone?" Beast Boy asked. "It did but...it also has something else, i think you'll enjoy it." Cyborg said.

Beast Boy remembered what Cyborg did to transform, he punched his two fists together and gasped as he transformed...human. All that stood was a normal boy, soft green eyes, short ruffled red hair and a few freckles under his eyes. Beast Boy looked at himself and touched his face. "T-This was me before I became who I am..." He said in shock.

"So, this is the real you huh Beast Boy?" Robin asked. Beast Boy nodded without saying a word, then felt happy tears trail down his cheeks. "You know, you guys are the bestest friends a Boy like me ever had." Beast Boy said softly. Starfire gently put her hands on Beast Boy's shoulders and gave him a sisterly kiss on his forehead, "We want what's best for you Beast Boy and...you deserve this more than anything." She said. The Titans all had a group hug, feeling extremely happy.

Sonic was tapping his foot while he waited for Beast Boy, wondering what was taking him. "Sonic!" He heard Beast Boy's voice and was shocked to see a human boy running towards. "Beast Boy?" He asked, knowing those green eyes were his.

"Actually...Sonic...my real name is Garfield...Garfield Logan." Beast Boy smiled. Sonic gained a smile and gave Beast Boy now, Garfield a hug. "Well, it's nice to finally see Beast Boy for who he is inside." Sonic smiled. Gar smiled and held Sonic's hand and the went on their date. The two had a lovely evening, happily eating sandwiches and also a beautiful walk around the park. Gar giggled as Sonic playfully twirled him around and they just stared into each other's eyes, feeling their hearts beat,against their chests.

"I never had this feeling before...he gives me shakes and shivers I can't ignore and I see that..there's more now than just...running free." Sonic sang softly as he did a little twirl then flopped on the grass, looking up at Gar who smiled down at him. "I never felt my heart beat so fast, I'm thinking of him first and of myself last...and how happy I want him...to be." Gar sang back as he ran over a bridge with Sonic playfully chasing him.

"It's amazing! Someone in my life...just might be loving me...I didn't know that I could feel this way..." Sonic sang while sneezing off a few dandelions off his face.

"It's so crazy something in my life is better than a dream I didn't know that I could feel this way..." Gar giggled at watching Sonic and then held his hand as they saw the stars glow and shine above them, running along through the park and into the city. "He makes me warm and happy inside..." Sonic sang as they sat on a table, gently picking a rose and smiled as he looked towards Gar who looked around curiously then gasped softly then blushes sweetly. "He smiles and I get dizzy and starry eyed..." Gar sang back and the two looked at each other.

"All these feelings I have...have me asking..." They sung together. "Can this be love....?" "Can this be love?" "It's crazy...I can hardly speak whenever he says hi..." Gar started but he and Sonic began to sing together as Sonic smiled and held the rose close but held it out towards Gar.

"I didn't know that I could feel..." "I never dreamed that i could feel...." "I didn't know that I could feel this.....way." The two finished their song as Gar gently took the rose and leaned himself against Sonic and the two just looked up at the stars.

By the time they got back to Titans Tower...Gar smiled as he held the rose. "Sonic, this is the best night of my life and i'm really happy it happened with you." Gar said. "I'm just glad i had the best date ever with the cutest Beast Boy." Sonic teased and then Gar got the shock of his life when Sonic leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "See ya later Gar...and maybe...we can have another date.." Sonic winked and then sped off. Gar soon returned to Beast Boy but...he didn't care as he rubbed his cheek and blushed happily.

But when he returned to his room, gently taking his scarf and jacket off, stripping his shoes and jeans off, he snuggling up into his bed and slept, he began twitching and moaning in his sleep. Beast Boy gasped as he looked around and saw Terra...alive! "T-Terra! Y-You're alive! I-I can't believe this!" Beast Boy said excitedly. But...his excitement turned to horror as Terra soon grinned darkly and held Sonic in her hands, choking him.

Then...the worst came as Slade walked out, with that dark expression, "Yes...it is true Beast Boy, Terra did return only to find out you replaced her with a rodent..." Slade said. Beast Boy grew scared, "No! No! No! I didn't replace her! I swear I'd never replace her!" He said. He then turned to Terra who was laughing. "Oh really...then...why'd you go and started dating this little upstart named Sonic, huh Beast Boy, cause you'd think I want you to move on from me...or is it that you're still in love with me..." Terra said in a scary distorted voice. "No! It's not like that!" Beast Boy screamed.

"Denial." Slade said. "No I'm not denying it!" Beast Boy protested. "Oh? Then prove it...kiss me or Sonic, then we'll see who's denying anything." Terra said. Beast Boy felt scared as he looked between Sonic and Terra, he could feel Slade's terrifying visage on him and it made him all the more scared. He was so filled with fear that he couldn't move. Terra smirked, "Thought so..." And then, she transformed a pile of rocks into a spear, edging near Sonic's heart. "If anyone asks what happened Beast Boy, I'll tell them it was all your fault." Terra laughed and then plunged the spear deep into Sonic's heart killing him. Beast Boy screamed in pure horror and then woke up screaming.

Beast Boy panted and held his beating heart, shuddering gently as sweat and tears ran down his cheeks, until he began sobbing against his pillow.
