-Chapter 11-

Rise of the Demon Lord

-o-O-o-

Aryn stopped his fruitless attempts of trying to pick up the scent, it simply wasn't there. Nothing remained, the cursed rain had done its part, and now, even the footprints were washed away. Where he had followed his nose to, there, on the ground was her metallic white and blue backpack. It was the size of his paw, small, so elegant, so Z, he thought. His shoulder felt heavy, burdened by the images of her smile playing in his mind, and his inability to do anything about it. Teary eyed, he slid his neck through one of the straps, wearing it around his neck. It wasn't much of a clue as there wasn't any other scent for the moment but that aroma he sorely craved coming from her pack.

Soaked wet, Rob began to look around for any form of other clues to where they could have been going, or at least direction, but it seemed in vain. “Split up and begin scouting around for anything that may lead us to her," he said as others began scouring their surroundings, rooting through the shrubbery, shifting rocks and flowers. Kalokin even offered his assistance, using the tip of his tail to move bushes aside, rustling through the grounded leaves and other objects he found suspicious. It seemed a waste of time to Aryn, there wasn't anything here which would provide any further clues, they were just stabbing in the dark. Finally their steam dwindled.

“I'm sorry Aryn," Aria said as she walked up to him, “We try, I wish I have thought of scent earlier." Defeated, she felt as if she'd let him and herself down, there was little she could offer but her condolences. For a soldier, the tall slender feline did have a heart, and wasn't as cold as some may have thought it to be. Aryn, one last time sniffed and inhaled deeply in a pained effort but couldn't catch anything. Aria laid her compassionate hand over his head, rubbing his feathery light fur almost maternally, wishing to shelter him from his loss. She could see it in him that he looked like he was about to fall apart.

Arching his back his maw opened wide to let out a mighty echoing roar. The pain within it was haunting, and powerful. It was enough to have his pain be heard over great distances. 'She was a moron, a goofball, a clutz, but she is my idiot, and I do anything just want my stupid nympho back safe...'

Clarisse pulled out her device, “This reads into paranormal beings and we might still have them in range and be able to home in on the demonic activity in order to track it," she enthusiastically said. “Hmm they must be out of range as there's no demonic readings."

Hearing the word demonic once more was the last straw for Aria. Her anger peaked as she screamed out. “Shut up, no talk about magic, always demon dreams for you. Reality check. A girl life is risk now, probably over while you is stuck in a stupid fantasy world. Will give it a rest damn it," she yelled as she stormed over to the lynx, ripping the device from her hands, and slamming it to the ground with fury as it shattered. The lynx gasped, and was frozen.

A familiar voice came. “A wise man once said, there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy, maybe you should cut the girl a little break," then shrugged. All eyes turned towards the voice.

Rob raised a brow, “Jaffah, you're pretty deep man." He felt relieved to see him again despite the small differences they had, he was a decent guy.

“J-Jaffah!" Aria rushed him almost like a stampede of unstoppable feline power, taking him off his feet. The red tiger was hurtled to the ground, pinned down by his larger feline counterpart. He was surprised by her actions as she leaned down to give his nose an affectionate nuzzle. Her arms wrapped around him holding him close to her. Noticing other eyes on her, Aria felt embarrassed, an dismounted from the stunned male, lending him a hand up, before almost yanking him right back to his feet with a strong jerk.

The bear was curious though, how did Jaffah survive? “It's good to have you back. Here, catch!" he said throwing over a ration pack. “Last one. I saved your share, something told me to hang onto it incase you were still around."

“Thanks, and I was kinda hoping you guys would find your way here, I've been waiting twenty minutes. I was about to travel downstream. Good job you saved me the trip," he smirked as he pulled the cord back of the ration pack, allowing the content to expand and fill. “I managed to grab an overhanging branch. I saw you guys being swept away, but there wasn't much I could do. By the time I hauled myself out, you all had disappeared. I could hear Z and with me being alone and them being unkillable things, I decided to play it safe. So I buged her. I didn't have enough stamina left to pursue straight away." he said earning a frown from Aria.

“Bug? What how?"

“I lost my blade, and sidearm to the river incident, but still have other survival and operational equipment, one being my bugging gear. I made sure I fired it into her hair. After a few minutes I managed to get up and begin tracking from a distance. The bug went dead, but not before I found out where they're holding her."

Aria pressed more, “Where she now?"

“The site their base of operations is situated in, is an ancient temple, from what I gathered. It's fortified almost like a military base considering how tough the security is. I was uncertain how to dispatch of them so I let them be for now. There's a large courtyard with a square slab table, or sacrificial altar which I assume they plan to kill her on. I decided not to take any risks, and just use it as a recon opportunity initially but ended up doing other things too."

“Other things? Explain?" she queried.

“Take a seat and prepare to be bored. Around it are stone buildings I estimate to be around five thousand, two hundred and four years old, from a radiometric reading I took of one of the paving rocks. Considering it seemed to have fossilised creatures within it, dating was made a little quicker. It's rocks I analysed. It's not to say the buildings are actually that old, but more the fact the material it's built on is," he said.

Rob raised a brow, “How does that help us?" he asked confused, wondering if Jaffah was indulging some weird hobby.

“Well, the accumulation of electrons in imperfections within the crystal structure of a mineral allowed me to determine the age of the rocks and then ran a test for it's other compositions. You see, knowing the age helps calculate the structural integrity of the material, for me to then configure things to the correct specification, or close enough. We can indeed destroy larger areas of their structures by then optimising a specific frequency but I'll only have time to possibly configure one grenade. It would destabilize the atoms from the same element momentarily, from that of others. In other words we can trap them."

Aria gave him a scowling look. “Okay, stop being smart ass, just say you can make grenade to trap them, is enough. Ground will sink them in, temporary quick sand which hardens fast, yes?"

“Bingo, I'll need to make some changes to a displacement frequency grenade, and I believe rambo over there has one," gesturing towards Rob.

“I'll take it as a compliment," the bear replied, removing one of his grenades and throwing it over to Jaffah.

“Thanks," the red tigered said as he snatched it from the air.

Aria looked over curiously as it wasn't an ascendency used weapon. “So what it do?"

Rob looked to his side at her. “Hmm, a D.F.G. for short is designed to be like an EMT almost, but for metal itself, breaking down the structural integrity temporarily. This way we could just barge through metal reinforced doors and so on. No mess, no noise, full satisfaction. But it works with all kinds of minerals. I'm quite basic on my knowledge on the ins and outs of it but yeah, I guess it can be adapted," he said as Aria gave a nod, fascinated a little by it.

Jaffah examined the grenade, then looked up. “I can work with it. Although I'll need half an hour though, and bypass a couple of steps to save time but it should work fine."

Rob cringed a moment. “Bypass steps? Don't go cutting corners man, I don't want you to blow us up by mistake."

Jaffah grinned and teased. “Oops, and boom. Anyway, this will only be a momentary effect so we need to time it correctly, if it's pulled off right, they will be stuck. Somehow we will need to bait them with something to bring them closer to one another to get as many as we can within the grenade's blast wave radius. Once herded, it will give us enough of a chance to jump them. Then it's time decapitate them fast. It's their weakness, they don't regenerate once their heads are off their bodies."

“We already know about the red queen thing, bit slow on that one doc," Rob winked. Although he felt a little creeped by how insightful Jaffah truly was. He didn't understand why someone with his kind of knowledge would be here and not in a nice lab? Was he really just a killing machine? “Let's move on. What about the odds? How many do I need to get through?"

“Their stronghold has about thirty two guards that I've seen from the outer perimeter, in additions, five sets of patrol sentries, each with two in a group, which makes forty. An unidentified female, and I didn't get sight of their Master, so there could be more numbers inside. Although," he paused for a moment. “I did find someone that concerns us. I took this while I was there," Jaffah then pulled out what appeared to be a coin and pressed it as it projected a holographic picture.

“Akari," Aria growled. The sight was enough to have her fur stand on the back of her neck as she hissed. He had Z from behind whispering over her shoulder. “So he mixed with them, I see how it must be now," she ached. “But, he mine, I take him in, or put down. But plan need more. We discuss on way. Not much time to secure victim before more harm come to her." Readying herself, she unstrapped her rifle. “Jaffah give tracker to Rob, you no lead, work on grenade as we move now."

“Roger that boss," he said as he passed the small card like device. “It's synced with a lot of stuff, so don't go pressing buttons," he said to Rob, as the bear smirked, having his turn.

“Oops, I pressed something."

“Good one, haha but no cigar. Now the trackers last location is here so it'll take us to it. Anyway, busy now." he said looking down as he turned the grenade in various directions and angles.

“You sure you know what you're doing with that thing?" Rob felt unsettled by this as he trod along following the indicator on the device with the other in tow.

“Hmm, this one is a little different to ours, but I'm pretty sure, but not a hundred percent."

“I don't think I feel so well all of a sudden," the bear complained while they toughed the terrain and he occasionally looked back over his shoulder to check on the other while Jaffah continued twiddling with the grenade. Rob felt a knot in his throat seeing the red feline beginning to dissect parts of it, and keeping that thing live at the same time. 'It's a damn sensitive piece of equipment, if it's done wrong, or if he even pushed the wrong connections together, or even input a wrong command or maybe or… Great! We're going to die before we even reach there…' Rob stopped thinking while he was ahead.

The enemy encampment probably wasn't that far off according to the readings Rob was getting possibly thirty to forty minutes at most. Aryn trailed besides Aria frequently getting soothing strokes. He let out affectionate purrs, and occasionally contented himself by brushing his side against her legs as he trod along. He felt better, more relaxed that they were progressing, and he would get his bundle of joy back. Seeing this more tender, upbeat side to him made Aria even feel in better spirits. She was growing a little fond of the feral beast and wouldn't even have minded having him as her pet in some regards. Although she knew his mistress would surely object, or was that girlfriend?

-o-O-o-

Meanwhile Z, definitely was getting bored as the two occult members stood there, shamelessly admiring the way her intimate assets looked through the translucent material. The smaller one accidentally drooled with his eyes fixated on her shapely pussy. She was getting annoying herself by this and it was far from erotic for her. They gawked but dared not say or do anything as they stood guard. Then, her little brain actually came up with an escape plan, and did she ever feel like a rocket scientist now. Still, she would need a distraction first. Then, looking ahead, she spotted something in the far distance, a small creature. Inspecting closely with squinted eyes, she could deduce some of it's features, it was possibly like a little dinosaur with horns, but couldn't tell entirely. It seemed to be looking for something, or someone.

She then proceeded to unexpectedly scream to it. “Hey you, extinct thing, come over here and untie me?" As the silence was shattered abruptly, it forced the guards to unglue their eyes from her rear assets. Their hearts were going rampant with startled freight.

“What the hell are you doing? You don't scream like that! Jeez you could have stopped my heart, I was busy lost in… errr," he stopped as he knew he had been staring at her rear, daydreaming about how incredible she would feel penetrating her tight ass and pussy. The creature in the distance began to scurry over quickly with a really happy expression plastered across his face. It seemed to be wearing a diaper.

“Huh? Ish a baby how cute!" she cried. “Awww aren't you the cutest thing?"

“Cute? I'm not cute, I'm Wolvine" he said as he came up close, “And save you? I am anything but cute tuts," he said as he walked around, to the guards, flexing his none existent muscles, not having noticed rears exposed other side yet.

The guards which were stood, not impressed, folded their arms and glared down at him “Beat it, we're busy guarding the virgin, or we'll kill you!"

“Oh, right, and whoa, a virgin? I came here looking for you guys, I was lost but the dame was nice enough to scream and call me over, and hey-presto, here I am. Can I join the occult?!" he cried, excitedly. “It's not everyday that a guy gets a chance like this!"

“No!" the guard said simply in a dull monotone manner.

The little dragon scratched the back of his head for a moment. Then it occurred to him, they must be testing him. “Can I join if I pass the fuck the virgin entrance test?"

“No!" he said again. “She's not a damn entry exam," he huffed.

Z didn't think the guards were being nice. “Hey, you should let him fuck me in the ass you know, then let him join the occult?" she asked.

“No," he said once more in that same robotic way.

The blue haired girl then had a thought, continuing on, she asked little green horned dragon, “Maybe he's lonely, and needs some love?"

The little dragon tapped his chin, the virgin maybe right! He then pointed at the larger guard of the two with enthusiasm. “Can I join the occult if I fuck you in the ass instead? I'm going to have to use a strap-on as I don't know where your ass has been."

“What the F… No!"

He was a little disappointed and turned around to get a sight of Z's firm ass, the tight closed pucker of her rear just twitching, the plump folds of her pussy, and those cute pink pussy lips as she flexed them lusciously. But what truly did it was that little sparkle on her ringed clit. It was all too much! “Eh eh eh errr ahhhhh!" he yelled orgasmically, like he was creaming his diaper. “Whoa that virgin pussy is amazing, I came so hard just looking at it," he huffed, catching his breath.

The guard was completely confused, and now didn't even know what to say. “Huh?"

“Thanks guys I'll be back tomorrow after I rework my resume if that's okay. This is going to be the best job I've had. I so want in now I know you guard pussys! Bye bye!"

“Don't come back you little weirdo!" he yelled as the dragon was leaving, but no one calls Wolvine the dragon a weirdo! The guard turned to the other. “Where the heck did they put up the occult vacancies. All kind of weirdos apply these days and it's kinda expensive to demonise them if they don't have the correct behaviours and qualities?"

Before a reply could be ascertained from the other guard, the angry little dragon launched his cum filled diaper, sploooosh smacking the guardsquare in the face while splattered a copious amount of white fluid over his head. “Eeeew what the hell is this?"

“It's cum, bi-atch!" the dragon cried.

“I'll kill that little… AHhhh!" the guard cried as they began to chase the dragon who ran for his little life. This left Z to implement the rest of her brilliant plan. She had a broach which had come undone, resting below her chin on the concrete. Using her lips she picked it up, and tried to project it from her mouth to her hand. With a stron blow, it flew, this was it, the great escape she thought herself. She managed to secure it between her fingers, this was wonderful! Now was the easy part, which meant she knew how to pick locks. “Hmm how do people pick locks in cartoons and such, hmmm why isn't there a lock, hmmm," she thought. Her plan was failing as she didn't think that far ahead as the guards returned.

One held a towel cleaning himself off. “This is so nasty…" he complained as he came up to the altar again. Then realised Z had something shiny in her hands. “I'll take that," he said, snapping it from her fingers. The girl gave a huff, and lay her front down on the slab in exasperation of her failed attempt.

-o-O-o-

Escorted by Akari, the master walked besides him, so small and considering how tall Akari was, compared to the one foot creature, it seemed rather entertaining. He waved his hand to gesture something to Akari who broke off to do whatever errand was required. Clicking his fingers, other guards came up surrounding the altar as they pressed their hands against it. The stone sacrificial structure began to reshape with Z still shackled to it. Her body twisted as she came to be laid flat on her back and with her legs splayed.

“Oh, hey!" Z said as she tilted her head back to look at him as he appeared upside down in her vision. “It's you again. Whatcha doing?" she asked as he crudely looked at her.

“I'm thinking about feasting down on your delicious flesh when I'm done with your corpse," he said, being intimidating.

“Oh you mean you'll dress me up as zombie then eat me out?"

“No, he will eat you…" the guard next to her said.

“Of course he will eat me out, that's what I said silly! you're not too smart, anyway, whoa will that ever feel good!"

“Can someone kill me before I lose my mind… I'm about to give up on my dreams, it's not worth it." Although he wasn't the first one. The airhead had that effect on many.

“No you shouldn't give up, love is special and we all should search for it, and then share it like I have. You should really try be more confident if you want to pick up a nice girl, or butt-fuck buddy. I can give you pointers. I'm great with, straight, gay, bi and robots?"

“Can I kill her already?" The master asked, twitching.

“No my liege," the guard replied, “but you must make your final bodily preparations before invoking the great demon lord into you. Then you can transform into the embodiment of evil, then rape and sacrifice her."

“Very well, I shall return when it is time. Before that, I really need to take a walk," he said needing to cool off and help his aching head. 'Of all the virgins, why her, what did I do to deserve this... '

-o-O-o-

The group approached from the south of the ancient ruins. It wasn't far away at all, but Jaffah was still tinkering with the grenade. “I'm almost done here," he said as he carried on making adjustments while walking.

Rob seemed troubled by why would be in this line of work. “So, hmm. How come you're like this super geek?" he asked, considering the profiles which they had only stated their military careers and accomplishments.

“Hazmoa," he said, which made no sense.

"Oh? But, don't get it."

"It's a university of Mafdet where I studied to be a geologist, and gained my phd in. I supplemented it with an invention design which I also have a masters in."

"So what happened? Isn't that a safer career choice overall? Why wouldn't you just stay there and be a doctor or something in the field?"

"Not possible, sadly," he said.

“Why not?" Rob urged.

“You see, I went on to designing mineral mining machinery, researching new methods of extracting valuable resources. After a couple of years I became a lead developer and things were going well. Opportunities were coming my way, a promising time as I studied how varying wave types can manipulate rocky resources. I wanted to keep researching in order to make mining more productive. This was until it happened… Something serious had gone wrong."

"What do you mean wrong?"

"I use to live in the eastern hemisphere. Our continental fortress which patrolled the planet from high orbit had encountered some technical difficulties. The massive thing spanned two hundred and fifty miles wide. I heard we needed to evacuate to the fall out bunkers. At the time of panic I didn't know what was happening. Needless to say my continent was left in ruins by space debris of a fallen battle fortress, worse still it was Zyhronic, which is radioactive material used to power the fortress. The toxicity lasted only weeks instead of longer if it was something like uranium. That's not to say a lot of homes, livestock and food wasn't destroyed. My country, and a few of the neighbouring ones went into poverty. Even the ones who contracted me were struggling so I knew they couldn't fund my research any longer. No one had a need for me when there were food shortages. The cost of living sky rocketed with nourishment having higher taxes than the poor could afford."

"That sounds horrid, I remember a few years back hearing something like that on the news, but only vaguely. I'm sorry to hear that. I shouldn't have brought it up. Although I'm curious, only continue if you want. I don't want you to experience bad memories."

“No, not bad, not good either. It's like karma. From the bad, I went on to do a good. But I can prattle on forever."

"We have time, so prattle on my friend. What made you join?"

"I lived alone and wanted more for myself. I also knew It would be a decade before we would have recovered from the disaster. So yes I needed a job, but also wanted out, so I enlisted for the forces instead as it was there. They recognised that I had knowledge they could use. They hooked me with simple terms. We will make you the better you, expand your skills and let you be who you are meant to be. Cheesy, granted, but worked for me."

“So how do you feel about it now?"

“I learned to incorporate my knowledge and apply it to practical based military situations. They enlisted my skills as a benefit, being able to screw with terrain, to make it to our advantage. Knowing structures, densities, and being able to manipulate them were an asset. Guess what? I'm doing it right now, screwing with more rocks, heh," he said, smiling as he stopped working on it. "I'm, done."

“Good, but I almost fell sleep with your story" Aria said and stopped. “This good place to finalise. Jaffah know layout best, so we roll with what he say. All life depends on you, no pressure, but what you got?" she asked the red tiger. With the jungle surrounding them and a nearby waterfall giving crashing sounds to hushen their whispers, Aria had selected an ideal location to discuss plans.

“Okay come close, I'm going to draw things out to help," Jaffah whispered as he took a small thin stick, beginning to squiggle into the ground as they all gathered around him. It took him a moment to complete a rough map as his stick flew back and forth. “This is the overall layout, the first part will be to position here and wait. This is a watch tower of the east wing of the temple," he said as he pointed to a circle that he drew out. “If we can get up there, which will be my job with my stealth gear, then I can take out that sentry up there. Once dead we can move past that point undetected. I'll remain there keeping watch and once we're all through, I'll will come down to join the rest," he said.

“Okay but what do we do if one of us is spotted?" Clarisse questioned, nervously.

“We need to have hope we won't be, I'll give a signal once it's clear to move in. Don't come out of hiding until then. Once in we need to position ourselves at these points," and once more, pointed on the ground map. “Rob and you here," he said to Clarisse. “I'll be with Kieran, and Aria solo here, then wait until the grenade has done it's bit," he said.

“What about me?" Kalokin asked, feeling left out. “No one ever talks to me, I feel invisible," he frowned.

“Well, you have a special role. You will be baiting the others to come after you and bring as many as possible closer together. Once there are enough of them, I'll use the grenade, just be sure you move to towards this tree situated near the altar. The grenades effects won't do anything to it, so jump up there, but make sure you're not on the ground, or you'll be trapped too. And then we make our attack, take of as many heads as possible. While we're busy remember not everyone will have been caught, so stay vigilant."

Aria blinked a few times at Jaffah wondering why is she solo. “This will then leave Aria to hunt her man," he said referring to Akari. “The rest of us then assault whomever this master is, provided he doesn't give up first. We have to save the girl."

Aryn wasn't happy as they weren't adding him into any part of their plan. Probably as they assumed he was unable to grasp their language due to being feral. He growled at them to try and say he wanted in as he raised one leg and pawed at Aria's thigh, and then thudded it down on the ground near the map.

Aria smiled at the snow leopard. “You can come with me if you like?" In response, Aryn simply shook his head, he was going for Z. “Okay, then how about you protect your love kitty?" Aryn gave one simple nod, that was much more agreeable to him.

Jaffah stood up, pressing a button on his right breast to render himself invisible. Of course he wasn't truly invisible. His technology could replicate the picture of what was on either side of him to camouflage himself in such a way that it more or less could have been the same. “Okay, lets begin. Good luck everyone."

-o-O-o-

Finally the time had come, as Z lay there, adorned in the most beautiful lingerie that planet could offer, beautified in a way that would have males pulses sky rockets, and shackled for his taking. The master made his way forward towards the altar as more robed figures had gathered beginning their ritualistic chanting. The master hopped up onto the altar and stood between Z's legs.

“Now you shall see the form in which I wish to become, and claim it. I shall be the enormous beast of terror, a demon like no other." He boasted having trouble keeping eye contact with Z considering she was squirming too much and her breasts kept moving in the way. “Will you stop moving, I'm trying to talk to you," he yelled.

“Oopsy, sorry, I thought you were going to start the fantasy thing now, I'll wait and pretend to be terrified," she said as she scrunched up her face.

“That doesn't look scared, it's more like this," he said as he opened his mouth, and widened his eyes.

“Okay got it, like this?" she said adjusting her expression.

“Yeah but a little more with the eyes, try to, what the hell am I doing… Shut up, this isn't acting, it's for real!" he said. “Gah! Enough with talking to you, I'm starting now. Hom-me ta, wufa-bisca-ris-coo-kaa," he began as Z began repeating.

“Nommmm meow-wuff, biscuits, rice-cookies, hommmmmm," she said mimicking him incorrectly as he tried to ignore her.

Meanwhile, the group had passed the century watch and had almost moved into position. Jaffah was the last to arrive as he took his place behind a large, romanesque pillar, with Kieran to his right, hidden behind the adjacent pillar. “Okay in position now," he transmitted. “Kalokin should be moving in about now," he said. And just then, right on queue the snake slithered out entering the sacrificial courtyard.

“Hey I am kalokin, I am here to violate the girl!" he cried. Heads turned towards him and even the other robed occultist which were further out heard him. The master stopped his chanting and glared with disbelief. “It can't be, do not let him stop the ritual, everyone, kill him, I must complete the invocation!" he boomed as more robed figures began to pour into the courtyard.

Jaffah watched on keenly. “That's it, keep going," he said as the plan was put into motion. Kalokin slithered with furious speed towards the master, but then squealed like a girl seeing those occultists rush in front of the altar drawing their- their- their-cockroach embezzled blades! “Eeeeeek!" he squealed like a girl and quickly made a U-turn moving back at rapid pace. It had to be his bug phobia of all things. He began to shiver, taking a large gulp.

“Maybe this isn't such a good idea, those blades look sharp too!" he cried as he swirled around and dashed in another direction again. He didn't care about the plan anymore, he just didn't want to get diced. The robed men ran on various routes trying to intercept him, swinging their ritual blades wildly as he narrowly evaded one, curled around the next, twirled through one's legs, and bended in ways to evade only a serpent could before he was off again. He may have been unkillable, but for the moment, it slipped his mind as he slithered quickly being chased by a substantial horde.

“Ahhh save me Z!" he cried as tears rolled down his cheeks while he made like a headless chicken.

“I'm a little chained up, maybe tomorrow if I'm been freed, can you run around until then and not die. I'm always glad to help a friend?" she asked pleasantly.

“You're no help!" he cried with tears flying everywhere.

The Master had finished his incantations and the invocation was done. From above a bolt of black lightning smashed down on him, just missing Z's crotch by an inch. A shadowy smoke engulfed the little robed master as he screamed.

“Whoa, cool special effects," Z cried in awe.

The screaming settled down as the shadows cleared to reveal an adorable demonic little thing with horns, cute big eyes, and a forked tail. His body was pitch black, and his skin covered in scales. “No effects I'm the real deal, I bet you're terrified of my new form, I feel empowered, and now tremble!" he gloated and gave off an evil laugh.

“Hmm nope, you ish soooooo cute, whoa, like so cuddly wuggly," she cheered with sparkly eyes. “I so want to cuddle you!"

“What?" he cried looking at his hands, and realising he indeed had changed but not to what he'd expected to be, and also still so small. “I will indeed rape you, then plunge my blade into you!" he threatened. Z couldn't see any daggers, it must be a sexual innuendo.

“Although you're nice and all, you're also a meanie, so no sex and plunging your tiny pee-pee into me!" she said and began to squirm. She couldn't close her legs and was helpless. The demon moved in and held her waist as his penis slowly started to erect.

“You will feel my size tare you apart from inside before I kill you!" he cried being deadly serious able to feel an enormous throbbing between his legs.

“It's like half an inch? I know it's meant to be nice for you, but seriously? I don't think it will even fit inside, it's sooo tiny? Considered surgery? Or how about strap on as a makeshift for now? would it help?"

“Shut up, don't mock me!" he said, Looking down between his legs he realised she was right, “Err it is kinda small to rape you with," he thought, but that wasn't his true size. He muttered a few more incantations as his organ grew a whole foot and was as big as he was, and as thick as Z's thigh. The blue haired girl gulped. “Now I will take your virginity!" he yelled.

“Hmmm no you won't as it won't fit at all dum-ass, can you go down a size?" she asked began to thrash around. “But I don't like you anyway so scram half-pint!" His penis shaped of to be more tapered at the end to ensure the fit leaving Z to swallow hard seeing the brutal thing.

Still rushing for dear life Kalokin sobbed. “Waaa-waaa." Teary eyed, he rushed towards the tree, only just about remembering the plan to get there.

Jaffah didn't know if this was acting or the fact Kalokin was really crying? Still this was it, Jaffah flipped the top of the grenade and pressed the button down before throwing it a fair distance into the courtyard. The grenade clanked a few times along the ground and started blinking furiously. Kalokin narrowly managed to jump onto the tree, twisting his dexterous serpentine body around the top branch.

The grenade exploded without a bang but a large shockwave vibrated through the ground. The rocky granite slabs became like water, and in an instant the occultist sunk knee deep into the ground. There were cries of confusion coming from them. Even Z's hips and pussy sunk into her rocky altar, along with some parts of her thighs, even her lower belly and half her breasts below the nipples. The demon ploughed his cock in, hitting solid rock as he let out a pained cry. Looking around and almost in tears himself, he gripped as his aching penis.

The grenade going off was their signal, Rob and Clarisse came rushing out with with the white bear going all out on a gun blazing frenzy. Rob had switched his rounds to something cruder to blow heads completely off from the half demonic occultists. He fired shot after shot with his destruction rifle. Clarisse resorted to her spells as glowing light formed around one of the occultist as he screamed in agony before the light that surrounded him like an aura, focused more on his neck before it was severed from his body. Of course the spell took longer but magic was her best weapon, as was it Kierans.

Kirans who was rushing in from the other side managed to focus on multiple targets having had more field experience than the rookie as he set heads rolling, much faster. Jaffah, ran in low behind Kieran, sweeping up one of the dead occultist's blades as a replacement for his own which the river had claimed. The ritualistic smoking blade seemed quite fitting for him as he he jumped up, and swooped down at a vulnerable occultists that was trapped, removing his head completely before spinning to side slash the one that was next to him. He continued his assault from various angles, removing more heads as he passed through them.

As the battle raged, the master was becoming enraged. “Akari! I summon you! Where are you! Come! I need you to take care of them!" he yelled. A second later, stood in the distance a tall feline, discarded his robes to one side as he approached, adorning a more battle hardened outfit, fitting of a soldier beneath it. Aria had been waiting, and there was no chance in hell she was going to let him escape. He was going to come back for interrogation, no matter what. She dashed out from her own position, and raced with enormous strides towards the traitors blind side.

Raging in, she reached back with a fist to give him a fully anger fuelled taste of her bare knuckles. With a mighty swing she thunderously connected with loud dumpf. Akari, not knowing what hit him was sent hurtling sideways and cleanly off his feet. She managed to sustain an element of surprise as she pulled back into a fighting stand with her fists up and her legs relaxed in order to react faster and keep a good defence. Akari, bruised cheeked, stood up, as if he's only just slipped bearing a smile.

“You need answer, you have good heart, I no want to believe you did it. What happen, you stood for the Ascendency and upheld laws? You outstanding soldier of good values, always help weaker people or those in trouble, able to do great many things. But they say you stole, I say it is lie, so what true? Is what they say true," she cried as he didn't return an answer as if he was pondering it or not interested. “Speak, you betray us?"

“Undeniably, but I need to now dispatch of you." He said as he slowly took his own fighting stance.

“Why?" she screamed as she drove towards him with a left jab, which snapped out rapidly, but still Akari managed to weave, avoiding it, while she followed up with a right hook which he deflected using a reflex quick block. Seeing his opening he launched a counteroffensive, straight jabbing her into her torso.

“Ugh!" she cried, being slightly winded, and staggered.

“It's straightforward really, I only needed to prove in missions I was valiant. For example, even in saving you, I showed good character with noble ideals and deeds, it was just one of many stepping stones. Time and time again I did what was needed and showed good comradery to climb ranks. I wanted to be the last one to be suspected, but it didn't go according to plan," he said, as he followed up on the stunned female with a sweep along her ankles, taking her off the ground. Aria extended her arm to steady herself as she flipped back to her feet. “The things I said to you, the things I shared, were not to be nice, but I was like that with everyone. I needed to progress faster to where I got to, and why not be aided by recommendations of peers for brownie points?"

“You use us all?"

“Yes, simply put, I got to the rank I needed with enough clearance to then acquire the necessary information. Once done here, the Black Star will destroy the Ascendency. We even had spies in some other worlds which shall then follow like toppling dominoes until all is destroyed. Thanks to trusting people, we know your weaknesses, we can make precision attacks from the valuable intel we ascertained," he gloated.

This was even more personal now for Aria, she had aspired to have such morals as he did. Just to now know she had based many of her own ethics and aspirations on a person whose entire existence was a lie. It enraged her.

Meanwhile the intensity was mounting as the others pressed for time to kill the other occultists as swiftly as possible, those half demon, mortals had discovered now a means to free themselves by amputating their own legs off. Some were regrowing their limbs back but it was at a slow rate and would take a couple of minutes before they were mobile again. An added pressure was felt as Jaffah swung with accuracy and speed taking one head off after another having picked up a second tribal blade infused with dark magic. His swipes were precise. Still they needed to be faster. Others which were not caught in the grenades initial blast came running towards the courtyard in hope of supporting their master.

The red tiger swishing his blades noticed they were going to find things harder now, even if they had reduced the enemies numbers significantly. “Heads up, we got incoming," he shouted as Rob looked around. The tension started to mount, mobile enemies were a lot more taxing than the ones they were dispatching at the moment.

As one crept up behind Jaffah, a mighty growl was heard as he turned to see Aryn had tackled one that was sneaking up on the tiger. Jaffah sliced down across its neck while Aryn was mauling away. The feral creature, moved off the corpse, and strode rapidly off towards another occultist, lunging viciously with claws and fangs bared. The occultists fate was met as Aryn, practically tore into it's neck, before yanking the head off the body.

Kieran began to chant louder as he summoned spears of light in the sky, they suddenly plummeted down on several of the new incoming threats as they screeched and wailed like banshees. In their moment of pain Clarisse had been given enough time to summon her decapitating light spell as three heads rolled to the ground. Kieran gave a small smile of approval back to her. “Well you seem to have gotten better during this fight, don't put it down to a lucky shot, you can do this, keep at them," he urged as Clarisse nodded and carried on.

Clarisse noticed one of them had gotten up behind Kieran while he was complimenting her. “Kieran!" she yelled. Having not noticed him until the last moment, Kieran tried to evade, but he didn't fully manage as he pain jolted through him. The soaring pain of the black magic began immobilising his arm. The robed attacker kept coming, slashing once more forcing Kieran to weave sideways but lost his footing as he crash landed on his side, painfully. Feeling the agony throbbing down his arm, he began a chant as the occultist rushed to end him. Following his assault, the occultist tried stabbing the downed cat, who rolled, narrowly avoiding it while gripping at his bloody arm. Having finished his chant the light spears manifested under the occultist as they abruptly surged upwards to impale him. If he didn't act fast the darkmagic would flow into his heart and kill him.

Muttering away, he worked his purification spell, feeling the exuberance of holy light fill his wound. Clarisse began to cast away to cover him, crackling could be heard coming from the air around Kieran as whip made of pure light manifested. It flickered before it snapped out, taking the head of the impaled occultist. The problem with this spell was it's purely static defensive capacity and it's inability to be mobile, however it was what was needed while Kieran was unable to move. Finally dark energy smoked out of his injured arm. Kieran gasped and panted, having broken into a heavy sweat. He could move his hurt arm, but not without causing extreme pain.

Structures flew fast by Aria as she paced down through the narrow lanes between buildings, whilst Akari gave chase. “Shit, I confused, why he…" she scowled. Knowing she needed to use her environment, a clearer mindset was needed. He was beginning to prove more resilient than she'd anticipated. The fact her emotions now soured made her into a raging bull, making her tactical steps, indecisive. Turning around a corner she hid, waiting for him to come past to once more take the initiative of a preemptive strike and re-engage in the fight. This wasn't to happen as she felt a harsh thud in her back, that jarred her head as she was driven face first into a wall.

“I think that's how you caught me off last time," he said.

Dazed for a moment, she was unable to defend against a punch which swung in, uppercutting her in the ribs as she felt one of her ribs crack, causing her to gasp. She knew she needed to get a hold of herself. “Heh, I use to kick ass when we use to spar, now look, you got better, but hit like little boy," she said, with a cough and wheeze.

He didn't answer but came right at her again, but this time, his legs moved like firing artillery, snapping fast at Aria as she ducked and weaved, buying her time while he was now the one on a blind rampage. She focused on evaluating for weaknesses, taking a few harsh blows in the process. Another full swung, kick roared in from the side which she blocked with her upper arms, if it could be called a block, still it allowed her to not take the full front of the attacks. She was getting shaken up, as the barrage continued.

'Come on, come on, give it to me... ' she thought trying to see that opening.

She knew she wouldn't make it unless she did take the initiative to strike, and there it was, a momentary pause that came every four kicks. This time, as the fourth came she pivoted, stepping into it, forcing it to glance of her, and drove her fist as hard as she could to the side of his neck, only just missing his jugular. As he gripped the side of his neck out of impulse, her next attack came in, brutally kicking upwards with full feline fury, smashing him in the side of his jaw which brought him staggering down to his knees. The final blow came as she delivered a full strength elbow heartlessly into the side of his head, almost knocking him out cold as he fell backwards.

“Told you, like little boy," she said. Not going to take any chances, Aria viciously straddled him, mounting her former comrade, and began to pummel away. Smack, thud, Crack. Her fists never stopped moving, his face jerked side to side as his nose and mouth bled. Raising her fist for the ending blow she stopped. He gawked and coughed, looking her in the eyes to say he held no regrets, nor had an ounce of remorse. She feared if she were to keep this up he would die. She had sworn to bring him in for questioning and as a member of the ascendency, was obligated to do so. It was then Aria realised he was beginning to heal, and to her savage pleasure, knew she could now take it, that step further. She growled and punched away knowing he wouldn't die now, but his face served to quell her savage rage.

“I kill you, then take you back for questioning," she cried having been given the excuse now to brutally beat the pulp out of him quite literally. She continued blow after blow as Akari couldn't do much but take what was dished out. Finally she was too exhausted, especially as she was wheezing with a lesser lung capacity. Flipping his motionless corpse over she slid off his belt, using it to tie his hands behind his back. She got up, breathing heavily as she could her chest, but was adamant to drag him back towards the courtyard. With a ferocious snarl, she gripped him by the collar.

The master looked towards Aria's direction even though he couldn't see her. His senses cried he lost his right hand man. If he was to lose his powers due to failing to sacrifice the girl after taking her innocence, then it would be fitting that no one should. He raised his dagger looking down at her. “If I can't, then no one will, I hate you all," he cried.

“I ish sleepy, Haaaaaa," she yawned. “Can we carry on tomorrow, it's past my bedtime…" Z complained. But seeing a large white bear charging at him, the Master moved with such speed he was difficult to keep up with him as he smashed into Rob sending him almost flying sideways.

“I will show you all, what I can do, Graaaaah!" he growled.

His vision refocused sharply on the next target, before charging at Kalokin, then jumped skywards, twirling to get into position, then dived down like a bird of prey, to bring down a brutal kick before the serpent could do anything. The blunt force of his heel striking the top of the snakes head so hard that the branch he was wrapped around snapped.

“Huh, what?" the snake cried as he raised his head to shake it off. “Oh yeah, we have to save Z!" he cried and slithered zig-zagging towards the master and began striking out with his fang. A harsh slap to the side of his face soon sent the snake flying off to the side as he crashed into a pillar, forcing an overhead beam to drop down over him. He was trapped, and unable to escape. If he wasn't immortal, that would have ended him.

Demon lord's deceptive, cute appearance harboured a monster, and if they didn't all do something soon, it would mean they would be finished.

Aria, exhausted, arrived finally to the court yard, shoving Akari'#s regenerating corpse against a wall, leaving sit there slumped in his own blood.

Tired of this fight, the master retreated back to the sacrificial altar, which Z was trapped in.

“As seen as she means so much to everyone," he yelled as he spun his dagger, raising in high up. “Watch her die," then suddenly drove it down, plunging it into her exposed sternum, right through the centre. Everything came to a halt. Rob looked on, as did Clarisse, Jaffah, everyone.

Z's head slowly drifted back to rest on stone behind her. A trail of her alien blue life essense dripped from the embedded dagger.

Aryn's eyes watered up. He could feel barbs of anguish constricting around his heart. He couldn't come to terms with not being there for her when she needs him the most. 'no…'
