Naebai & Eric: A Long Kiss
This is something that just kind of popped into my head when I was laying in bed doing absolutely nothing. So after going over several of the scenes I jumped up and started typing and I refused to stop till I finished it.
So here it is. I've proof read it myself, if anyone finds typos please make me aware of them so I can correct them.
As well, just comment and rate. Let me know you're thoughts and feelings.
There might be a part 2 in the future but that is uncertain at this junction.

The normal lunch crowd was bustling in Opvius Academy, the normal stock in the turian academy hall, all dressed in their dark blue Academy cadet uniforms. Here there would be a small group, three male turians and a slighter smaller out of place light brown haired human. Each were in their late teens but none seemed hostile as they all laughed, the human clearly held the spot light as he pointed and gestured with a smile upon his face.
His blue eyes quickly darted to the turian on his right "Seriously, he actually looked at her and said 'If my heart was a bomb, it'd only blow for you!'" The three turians burst out in laughter as the human hunched over to keep himself on his feet, the energy around them caught the attention of the others but it seemed the usual thing as they passed by to continue their own business.
The turian on the left was the first to break the laughter with a question of 'What happened next?' The human had to catch his breath as well as wipe his left eye before he could speak again, his cheeks a light red from all the strain on his smile.
"Well, I mean she was just standing there like she didn't know what to do. Even her friends were just like..." the human gave a blank face as he stared off into the open air before he jumped back into his story. "Then she just glanced away and walked off." The energy fell fast with the end of that story as it made the joy stop in its tracks.
The human leaned back a bit to glance past the three before him, "Don't worry though, I'm thinking she ended up liking it" he'd claim with a motion to draw the three turians to a couple that were holding hands as they stood off to the side. A hushed conversation it seemed as the female spoke to the male, his mandibles twitched every few moments; clear he was a bit flustered by what she was saying.
The middle turian who was the largest of the three gave a soft exhale "I guess things work out for you sometimes" a quick 'oomph' was forced from him as the human gave a firm punch to his stomach.
"What, getting all sappy on us Gal?" the other two were quick to jump in with a quick jab to their friend, "Don't start Eric, we all know Galsius here is just a big softy under all that plating" the left turian state.
The right would not be outdone as he gave a slap to Gal's shoulder, "Yeah I mean. He's a definite 'lover not fighter' type!"
Gal was quick to shake them over as he left the one on his right feel an elbow to the chest that knocked him back slightly, a grunt of exertion as the mid turian hulked himself over his three friends "I'll show you who's not a fighter!"
A quick scuffle between Gil and his friend on his right while Eric and the one on his left watched with great amusement, as did several turians around them. Eric simply crossed his arms as the other moved next to him, "So, what about you Eric, any perspective targets for that bomb beating in your chest?"
The human gave a 'what' look with his left eye slightly squinted as he stared to his friend, "First! Don't ever say that again. Second! I don't see how that's any of your business, Spuso!" Eric gave a quick look up and down of his slightly taller turian friend as he pretended to be somewhat offended by the question.
Spuso however gave a light nudge with his elbow as he looked past Eric, "Oh look it's Naebia Salviraka." The human nearly broke his neck at the speed his head spun, only to see a crowd of turians that had gathered to watch Gil scuffle with his friend.
Eric seemed none to pleased by such a thing either as his head turned back to Spuso with a glare, his head sunk slightly with a slight show of his teeth as they ground together. Spuso clearly struggled to keep himself from bursting into laughter as Eric glared death into him, meanwhile Gil and the other had come to a truce and rejoined the other two only to find themselves confused as Eric seemed like he was ready for the next scuffle.
Gil would be the first to open his mouth only to stop "Oh hey it's Naebia." Eric however would glare daggers into Gil, he wouldn't fall for that a second time! He twisted his head a bit to work out a kink in his neck as he corrected his posture,
"Alright, no more teasing about my crush on Naebia or I'll find out what the insides of your skulls look like." A firm threat that seemed to leave everyone shocked, the point clearly made as he looked over the two in front of him, his eyes spared a glance to Spuso yet out of the corner of his vision he caught someone behind him.
Eric turned to reveal a female turian that stood several inches above him with grey green eyes, two light green face paint lines that were drawn straight down over each of her eyes. She seemed a bit surprised, her eyes wide as she stared down at the human, Eric seemed just as surprised as he stared back, his own blue eyes wide as plates as an awkward silence fell over them.
The female turian wasn't alone either as a small group of four other turians stood behind her, a few giggles were shared while one covered her mouth with a muffled 'So cute' being said just loud enough for everyone to hear. The foremost female's mandibles twitched before she blinked and then quickly turned to walk off, the group of four behind her gave a pause before they followed, the tallest of the females reached out to pat Eric on the head as she passed.
Eric however was still stunned, frozen it seemed even after the five had wandered far out of sight. His three friends now worked to bring him back to Palaven. Gil waved his hand in front of Eric as Spuso gave a few clicks at his ear, the last friend poked him in the cheek which caused him to blink and seem to regain some of his sense.
He didn't move yet however, he simply spoke. "I'm going to kill each of you" he'd state in a hushed tone which caused the three to look at one another as a bell like tone echoed out over the lunch area, the crowd quickly began to disperse.
Later in the day Eric would be walking with his three friends in an empty hall, each of the turians seem roughed up in some way with scraps and scratches present on their faces while Eric seemed to fume as he walked.
Gil would speak up, "Come on Eric it wasn't like it was the biggest secret anyway. I mean Naebia is super popular, with her families military record and her top scores in everything she's just that kind of girl."
This did little to improve his mood as he lifted his right hand with his index finger extended straight up; all three turians flinched as they readied for a some kind of attack! Eric did not attack however as he just lowered his hand before he turned to push his fore head against the wall before he let silence just fall over the whole corridor.
The three turians seemed amused but conflicted, "Come on Eric, you're the only human in the entire Academy. That's gotta mean something, I mean your dad was sent here to Palaven because of his military record, the turian home world! You even got into Opvius because of that!" Spuso offered while a hand placed on the human's shoulder.
Gil approached, "He's right, you even went hand to hand with all three of us and we couldn't even get a single point against you. That's definitely getting the attention of the girls, Naebia can't be any different."
Eric merely lifted his head to gently thud it back against the wall "Naebia's father is one of the highest decorated military commanders in the turian fleet, her mother reports directly to the Primarch and her family was already famous for their actions in the First Contact war and the Krogan Rebellions..." a second thud of his forehead would be given. "I'm just Eric Grender, my father is the famous military commander that gained the turians respect when he sent his ship in to aid against a Batarian attack on one of their patrols."
The distraught human quickly turned to the three "Seriously! I didn't kick you're guys asses enough we're going back to the combat sim!" The three turians were quick to panic as they glanced about but saw that they weren't getting out of it as the human marched off, a begrudged group of turians were slow to follow.
After several hours of steady turian on human simulated combat the three turians had accepted their defeat, the score being heavily in Eric's favor which was a common enough out come for those that knew him. Eric then retired to his dorm room, each individual cadet in their final stages of graduation would be assigned their own quarters. A nice change from the first years when they were all crammed together in a bunk house, a snoring turian was still a haunting nightmare in his dreams.
Yet his dreams would be cut short by a steady buzz that echoed out of the door intercom, the human gave a low groan as he forced his sore body to move. High score or not, turian combat sims still took a toll, especially when Gil got in close for some hand to talon combat. From his bunk on the left the door would be down a small recess of a hallway in the far right corner, work desk just opposite of the door against the wall.
Eric staggered to the door before he put his hand on the release, "Quitis I swear if you don't stop showing up here just when I've laid down..." the human would grumble as his heavy eyes opened to show Naebia before him.
A single moment and all fatigue was gone, the human fully alert as he stared at the female turian before him, she gave what was the equivalent of a turian smile to the stunned human.
"Um, did I wake you?" she would question, Eric was quick however, "Wake!? No, I don't sleep I was just figuring out my graduation plans."
The female's brow plates lifted slightly, "In the dark with your bed scrubs on?" Eric glanced down to see himself in grey shorts with a white tank top on. He glanced to the left before he came back confidently, 'Well yeah, you don't?'
This caused Naebia to giggle before her head canted to the side, "Mind if I come in then, since you definitely weren't sleeping?" A pause from the human before he turned the lights on and gave room for the female to enter his dorm. A glance to either side of the corridor before he closed the door to find himself alone with the female turian.
As Eric turned himself around he would see Naebia as she glanced about his rather barren room, not an uncommon thing as personalization wasn't something that was exactly allowed for a cadets room.
A bit at a loss for words he just stood there in a kind of daze, still not sure if he wasn't still half asleep yet Naebia took notice as she glanced about, giving a look over her shoulder; "So, I happened to hear everything you said during our break period today."
The human placed his hand on the back of his neck, "Oh? Did I say something, I say a lot of things so I can't remember all the things that pour our of my mouth" he'd mumble a bit while he avoided eye contact. The smile on Naebai's face remained before she turned her face forward once again,
"Oh? Yeah I guess you do talk a lot. Something about having a crush on me I think it was..." Eric's eyes rolled as he gave a quick half squat as he had hoped that maybe it all had just leaked out before she heard. He straightened himself quickly as she continued to speak, "I had to look up what a 'crush' was. I mean, I kind of knew but wanted to be sure, translation and all that."
A small giggle was released as she stepped forward to place her hand on the desk while giving a scan of the papers that cluttered the top of it.
"My father is a traditionalist, hard core turian till death and mother isn't much different than that. Always do what's best for the turian race, the family name that I carry..." she lifted a piece of paper as she explained, Eric's attention completely wrapped on every word.
"With our long history, the First Contact war and even the Krogan Rebellion it's a big standard to live up to, so much pressure and all these eyes watching my every move it's like I don't even have an identity of my own." As she set the piece of paper back down she spun to look at Eric, her hands behind her back,
"To everyone else I'm General Salviraka's daughter. Set in stone no matter how much I try it just doesn't seem to be something I can escape. So it was kind of nice to hear that someone wasn't afraid to have a 'crush' on me." A deeper smile came from her this time as she looked at Eric who seemed a tad more tense than before, all the heavy talk about her families history and her dad, a turian General who was a hard traditionalist.
Quite a lot to take in all of the sudden but Naebia's smile calmed him down as he stepped forward, "Well it's not like I cared that your dad was a high ranking general that could make me disappear with a single wave of his finger." A nervous laugh followed but was quelled as Naebai giggled over him,
"Oh it would take much less than that, I mean. If my father even got wind that I was here right now, in the male wing with you, you'd probably never be heard from again." An 'Oh really' face came over Eric as his brows rose; a solemn nod giving before he looked off to the side. He remembered the fact that they were on Palaven's moon and even if there was a window to jump out of he'd just get vacuumed into space.
Yet he kept his attention on her, a single step forward "Well then I guess no matter what I'm kind of screwed right?" Naebai let her head cant to the side as her right brow plate lifted slight, "Pretty much, so what're you going to do?"
Eric let out a small nervous laugh as he closed the distance between them, to the point where Naebai now leaned against his desk, her hands still behind her back as she looked down at Eric. Turian natural height even put females above male humans, a bit awkward now that he had to look up to make eye contact yet she merely waited, her mandibles giving a twitch.
"Well, I guess if it was my only chance and the fact that people are gonna kick down my door and haul me off kick and screaming like a little girl I'd take the chance to do something I want." The distance was now confined, Eric's left hand moved to rest on the desk right behind Naebai, his chest almost pressed against her's as he listened to her breath, the slight hesitation in it as she stared down at him.
Her smile was gone, she was more expectant than anything now before she spoke, "Oh yeah, what do you want then Eric?"
He couldn't stop his tongue from gently wetting his own lips as he pushed his head up closer to her's, his lips almost graced her's before a sudden buzz from intercom caused both of them to jump and cause the desk to screech as it was violently shoved into the wall. Eric's breath had hitched in the middle of his throat as his left hand clutched at his chest to check to see if his heart was still inside.
Naebai's mandibles had flared out and her eyes were as wide as plates, shaky breath was exhaled before she began to giggle. Eric's head hung down with his forehead gently pressed against her collar bone, his heart now pounded in his chest as a second buss from the intercom sounded off.
Naebia craned her neck down to whisper into his ear, "I think someone's at your door," she pointed out only to have Eric shake his head.
"What door? I don't have a door, doors are just a myth..." he'd deny, a clear complaint which only made Naebai smile.
She turned her head to place a gentle kiss onto his cheek before she pushed against his chest, no argument was given as he turned and slowly wandered to the intercom. His hand on the release he would stand there with closed eyes and drooped shoulders as his friend from earlier stood at the door way.
"Oh hey Eric I didn't wake you did I? There's just this thing that....uh..." he words trailed off as he took in Eric's expression, not a moment later he lifted his head to see Naebai propped against his desk. The female turian gave a small wave with her left hand as the males eyes widened before he gave his attention back to Eric.
"Eric!?" He'd exclaim in a hushed voice, the human however didn't respond as Naebai pushed herself from the desk and approached from behind. A gentle hand on his shoulder she'd whisper, 'See you around Eric' into his ear before she stepped past the male in the corridor and walked out of sight.
Eric was left there standing in his door way, eyes shut closed as the male watched Naebai disappear around a corner. The turian turned back to Eric who was still in a state somewhere between regret and rage as his friend spoke,
"What the hell Eric, that was Naebai! Do you know what would happen if..." he's expression changed a bit, his scolding persona faded quick as Eric slowly opened his eyes to show the daggers that he was now casting.
"I mean...did you two, man I'm sorry I didn't know!" He would try to defend himself as he brought his hands up to try and defend any on coming attack that Eric might throw at him. Eric however simply shook his head slowly, both of his hands rose as he pointed to his friends face.
"Quitis, these things on the side of your face. Those little things there..." Eric stated as he pointed to his friends mandibles, "I'm gonna rip those off and make you eat them" Eric threatened in a hush manner before he closed his eyes to turn and walk back into his room. His left hand brushed the door release which slammed the door in Quitis' face.
The now alone turian stared at the door with dropped jaw for a time before he pushed himself against the door, "Eric, are you serious!? Com'on man I didn't know! Eric!?" he'd cry out in vain to the silence of the corridor!
:Two years later:
Eric stood with the rest of the graduating classes in full dress uniform as the head of the academy dragged out the long speeches of how proud he was to welcome the next graduating classes as well as how proud he was to be the head of the project for co species training for the turian military.
Co species was a general term as Eric and maybe twenty others were of a different species here, the general fact that they were so close to the turian home world made it a bit ridiculous to call it a co species academy. Yet with a final word and an order to salute the graduating classes were dismissed, everyone filed out fairly quick so they could get to their posts and finally get some time off!
Eric made his way to his dorm room, his gear and personal items already packed and ready to go. A quick check of his omni tool to confirm his post and where he needed to be before he left the dorm room for the busy corridor. The happy bantered between all the graduates after five long years of this academy, the hugs between friends and the few romantic couples that were developed over the long years here.
It was then as he moved out toward the shuttles that would take him off to his posted ship did he get a call on his omni tool. The familiar face of Gil appeared on the screen,
"Hey there little buddy! Finally heading out?" Eric could not stop the smile from over taking his face,
"You keep calling me that and I'm going to have to remind you of our combat simulation scores, it was two hundred a seventy three to ninety three right?"
Gil being quick to chime in with 'Ninety five!' Eric was forced to apologize for his mistake with a heavy dose of sarcasm laced on top of it.
"So what ship are you slated for, I'm heading to the Pliretia. A frigate that'll be heading to help peace keeping on a relay bordering the Terminus." Eric gave a firm nod as he stepped onto a small shuttled and found his seat,
"I'm heading for the Acitoria, cruiser class. Gonna be doing some patrols for a bit, might put in a transfer if it gets too boring just 'keeping a presence'..." he stated with air quotes from his free hand.
Gil chuckled in response before he shook his head, "The Acitoria huh? She's a fairly new vessel from the information I got, still getting all positions and systems in place, did you get any information on who the captain is?"
A shake of his head as the shuttle door closed with its filled seats, "Nah, some new prodigy straight out of academy from what I understand but that's just the rumor going round. Figure I'll find out soon enough. Either way stay safe out there, no getting killed before our rematch, got it!?" A promise made as Gil chuckled before he put his fist toward the screen, Eric copied as they fist bumped between omni screens before he closed the connection and looked out the shuttle window.
The academy now just a small cluster of buildings as it rested in a mass effect dome, now on the outside with the ability to see the nothingness that was open space Eric found that he missed to the interior domes sky like ambiance. Space was rather dark and unwelcoming compared to that false image of a bright shining sun.
It was a bit of a trip to get to the small fleet of ships that was stationed just between Palaven and the moon the academy was on, in that time Eric bantered with the turians and one asari that just happened to be posted with him on the Acitoria. Old friendships remained but new ones could be forged and Eric was clear on his opinion on that as he had the entire shuttled bursting with laughter all the way through the trip.
Upon arrival the laughter had quieted down a bit but the energy that Eric had hyped up was clear as nothing but smiling faces left the shuttle. The asari even wrapped an arm about Eric for a moment as they stepped out of the shuttle to whisper in his ear, the words caused a rather large smile to appear on his face before she walked off to report to her station.
Eric who was what he liked to call himself a 'Jack of all Trades' excelled in nearly everything but chose to work in the CIC for quick time information to help out the rest of the crew. In his own words 'I'd rather work to keep my people alive than make the enemy dead.'
As he made his way through the corridors and decks of the large cruiser a ship wide broad cast alert sounded off, all attention turned up as a male turians voice could be heard.
"Attention. Attention. The captain of the Acitoria will now make a statement."
The sound of foot steps could be made out as one approached the intercom, a female turians voice then took over.
"This is Captain Salviraka, I am now taking command of the Acitoria and wish to congratulate all incoming graduates from the academy. With that I myself have just graduated and am honored to take command of the the Acitoria and swear to do my utmost to ensure she and all of her crew are in peak condition as quickly as possible. Captain Salviraka's out."
With that the intercom shut off, a few words were passed back and forth between nearby turians at the sound of their new captain; some of the older crew members that were transferred from other ships.
Eric gave a nod before he began to walk again, it wasn't till five steps in that he came to a stop as something seemed to come to mind. 'Captain...Salviraka? Salviraka? Salviraka!?' His eyes went wide as he quickly ducked around a corner and found himself a less busy area. His omni tool was up and Gil quickly answered,
"Oh, Eric what's up?" however Eric seemed less than pleased as his left hand came up to point accusingly at the screen,
"You slack jawed asshole! You know Naebia was Captain of the Acitoria!" He would accuse, Gil however did a poor job at denying it as he chuckled aloud,
"Of course I did, you're not the only one that knows how to lean on a few people to get some information Eric, my fathers a well known military commander as well." Eric didn't take too kindly to that however as he stuffed his fingers into his omni tool causing the image to blur,
"I swear Gil if I could pull your through this screen I'd beat you right out of your carapice!" Gil was only forced to laugh more at Eric's flustered nature before he glanced off to the side.
"I don't know what you're freaking out about Eric, I thought Quitis said you two had a thing going?" Eric glanced about quickly to make sure no one was within ear shot,
"That was one night two years ago dammit! She transferred to the Command side of the academy right after that, I never got to see her in all this time!" Eric stated frantically before he looked up as a small group of turians passed him.
Gil looked up as well from his screen for a quick moment."Well, you'd have figured it out sooner or later so I didn't tell you. Either way I gotta report so you get to your post and try not to get kicked off the ship." With that Gil quickly closed the channel, much to Eric's dismay as he opened his mouth to say something else but was cut off.
A heavy sigh given before he leaned against the wall, a glance about before he lowered his arm and picked his ruck sac back up and moved back through the corridor. His mind now a bit of a jumble with thoughts of what had happened nearly two years ago before the thought that 'She probably doesn't even remember me.'
That was what he sealed the thoughts with as he moved into his assigned dorm, a small single room much like his academy dorm. The joy that he had quickly drained as he felt that he was back there, though it didn't last long as he closed the door and went to work customizing it; the joy of finally being able to put up some posters and some random nick knacks filled him with a sense of joy that it probably shouldn't have.
Either way with it done, his desk covered in little statues of characters from a vid show he liked, a few posters here and there, his favorite being of a female turian in a less than 'military' pose as she straddled the main cannon of a cruiser. With a job well done he took the time to flop down onto his bed, situated exactly in the same place as the one at the academy he found it to be just as comfortable, being in that it was barely comfortable.
His devious side came out as he began to think of how to smuggle on a more comfortable mattress, it was cut short however as a buzz from his intercom sounded off. A single brow raised as he felt Deja'vu just as he moved to open the door.
With the hiss of the door as it slid open Eric would blink as a female stood in front of his door, hands behind her back with a stoic expression on her face, a red line of face paint drawn from her right temple to her left. Her dark blue eyes stared down at Eric coldly as he stared back up with both of his brows raised.
"I am Commander Pannius the head of the CIC, I'm doing rounds to greet all of my assigned crew, you are Eric Grender correct? You are my assigned second from what I understand, top marks in all regards but rather than take a command position you chose Strategic Information and Communications."
Eric was a bit overwhelmed as he stared up, however he snapped to his senses and stood at attention, "Uh, yes ma'am. I felt that I could best serve in passing down orders rather than giving them myself."
Pannius seemed to understand as she gave a nod, "It takes fortitude to admit that. However I'll need to see you in action first hand before we can make any official recommendations of your permanent position."
Pannius looked to her right as severel turians rounded the corner, "I'll need you in the CIC after your meeting with the Captain so we can see what you know. " Eric responded with a 'Yes Ma'am' before he blinked.
"Uh, meeting with the Captain?" he'd question to which Pannius nodded, "Yes, it's just a formality. She's new and wants to know who her chain of command are. The CIC, Engineering, Weapons, Bridge crew, everyone who'll be screaming at her should something go wrong. You'll find her on the bridge most likely and if not Im' sure they can direct you from there."
With that the turian continued on her way while Eric simply closed the door, with a new kind thought racing through his mind. Rank, position, memories of what happened the last time they saw one another; so many things and so many questions!
However an order was an order, with uniform adorn he made his way out and to the bridge of the Acitoria. A deep breath before the double doors hissed open to reveal the bridge crew in the middle of system checks along with inventory and crew personnel. It was here that Eric found himself without a familiar face of any kind, no Gil, Spuso or Quitis. Not even Naebai it seemed as he looked about, a few steps in a male turian would approach and ask for his name.
"CIC second Eric Grender, I was told to come and meet with Captain Salviraka." The turian nodded rather quickly "Ah yes, you just missed her. She was headed toward her quarters aft of the bridge, you'll be able to find her there." With that the turian gave no further room for talk as he spun on his toes and quickly moved back to work.
Now left with his mind a jumbled mess as he made his way, seemingly on auto pilot to the captains quarters. Now he stood in front of the large door with the plaque that read Captian Salviraka in bold black letters all the while he repeated 'She won't remember you' in his mind over and over again.
With a build up already established he pressed the intercom and announced himself to which the door lock could be heard as it released. A smooth motion opened the door to reveal the rather spacious captians cabin, Eric had to take a moment to kick himself for not taking that command position now as he looked about the room.
To the right would rest a large bed with glass shelf adorn with books, just off set to the right near the far wall from the door rested a half circular desk with several monitors on it. The left held a door that lead to a lavatory it seemed, and here and there would be modest decorations with books and replica models of start ships and turian plaques.
Yet in all this, no captain, no Naebai. Eric narrowed his gaze in confusion before a hand fell to his left shoulder. He spun quickly only to find himself off balance, shoved back across the room and right into the desk with a firm three talon hand against his chest that kept him in place.
With wide eyes Eric stared up into the grey green eyes that caused his heart to skip a beat, the turians scent graced his nose as he could hear her breath in his ears and feel it across his face. Her fingers curled a bit to pull at his shirt,
"I seem to recall I was in your position last time." Naebai not just remembered Eric it seemed, but that last night in a rather fond way. Off guard at first Eric had to compose himself a bit as his hand rose to grab at her wrist,
"Yeah, you were a lot less aggressive then too." She had to chuckle at that as she hung her head a bit,
"Sorry about that. Leadership trainning always said to take what you wanted when you were in the position to command." It was Eric's turn to chuckle now,
"I also remember that we never got much past this part," he'd state as he regained some ground to push himself off of the desk, that position made him feel a tad vaunerable. Naebai didn't seem to mind either, though she kept her hand upon his chest, it seemed now she was on the defensive as she kept her head hung with her eyes cast far from his.
With a brow raised Eric went on the offensive and spun Naebai around to push her against the desk. Two years had passed yet not much had changed between them aside from Naebai having grown a few more inches taller than him. Yet despite her size different she gasped as she was moved to lean against the desk, her free hand gripped the side as she was forced to look down at Eric who smiled a devious smile up at her.
"If you're father were to find out...?" he'd question with a slight show of a sinister grin, her confused and bewildered expression faded as she smiled, "They'd never find you're body."
With that Eric pushed forward to lock his lips with hers, the hesitation and build up had two years to linger between them. Yet Naebai had not forgotten him and even after all this time she held those feelings close to her. Eric would not allow this moment to be lost a second time as his hand moved around to grip at the side of her neck, his thumb brushed against her mandiable as it shivered.
Her own hand moved to wrap around to the back of his head and deep the kiss they shared with one another after two long years so close yet compeltely seperated. It now melted away with the feeling between them finally being expressed, yet before either were ready to part the kiss was broken.
A soft pant came from Naebai as she cupped Eric's cheek, her mandiables giving a wiggle before she looked down giving a chuckle, Eric unable to stop himself either joined her before he took a step back. His hand moved to the back of his neck,
"I need to get to the CIC and report in, I'm sure I'll see you around though" he'd joke as Naebai moved to stand straight up and fist her uniform.
"Make sure that it is sooner than two years from now. Remember I command the air locks aboard this ship" she would tease with a devious smile of her own offered to Eric who took it in stride before he moved out to report to the CIC.
