Paige enters the arena and can hear the audience cheering. Her trusty spiked mace always helps her in battle. Her gold-plated armor makes sure she would never leave with a scratch. The arena is one of the easiest ways for her to earn money in this game she plays. Once she reached a high enough level, she never feared losing. She always has the best odds at winning her battles.

Her opponent enters the arena. Paige gasps, “Daisuke? Why are you here? You shouldn’t be here! You’re not strong enough!” Daisuke stands a great distance away in front of her. His rusted beginner’s armor and dull sword look pathetic. Paige already knows this is going to be an easy battle but it doesn’t make this less difficult for her.

Daisuke and Paige are friends outside of the game. Daisuke told Paige he was going to start playing the game that she loved so that they could play together. However, Paige was such a high level that they rarely played together. The missions Daisuke always received were ranks beneath Paige and never gave Paige enough game currency to make it worth her time.

Daisuke smirks, “I can handle this! A man gave me a potion! He told me it will help me win the battle!” Paige screams, “You were probably swindled into purchasing poison! Anyway, we’re fighting each other! Don’t you know what happens when you lose?” Daisuke chuckles, “Relax. I’m not going to lose.” Paige shouts, “You could have at least given me a heads up so I wouldn’t have battled in the arena while you were busy doing it! Ugh, why did we have to get randomly paired! You’re so under leveled! We shouldn’t have been paired unless you put up a bunch of money on the wager to match with a higher level opponent!”

Daisuke laughs, “I didn’t put up money. My benefactor did!” Paige utters confusedly, “Who?” Daisuke answers, “He’s the one who gave me a potion for this battle. I met him one on of my missions. He’s nice.” Paige yells, “Why would he be giving you free stuff? Think!” Daisuke responds, “His money would more than quadruple if I beat someone like you in the arena. It’s easy to understand. Plus, I think he just likes helping out newer players.”

Paige starts wondering if this is all a coincidence. She knows a person can pick their opponent if they spent enough money. Did Daisuke’s ‘benefactor’ has some sort of vendetta against her or is this all truly random? Either way, it doesn’t matter right now, all that matters is that she’s going to crush Daisuke in battle!

Paige suggests, “Daisuke, you should quit now before I destroy you! Your character model will be erased if you don’t quit now.” Daisuke retorts, “Paige, I think you’re the one who should be afraid. If you value your inventory, you should forfeit. You wouldn’t want to lose all your progress!” Paige shouts, “You’re the one who should be afraid of losing progress!” Daisuke smirks, “I only started playing this month. I haven’t put in all those hours like you have. I’m not going to care if I lose this early in the game. I’m not addicted to it like you are.”

Paige shouts, “Shut up!” Paige could feel her anger building up inside her. Some of Daisuke’s words felt true to her. Why did he have to make it so personal? Paige knows she shouldn’t hold back. It would be best if she finished Daisuke as fast as possible... for both their sake.

Paige’s hands squeeze the handle of her mace. She starts running towards Daisuke while gripping the mace tight. Daisuke pulls out a potion and drinks it. Daisuke gulps the potion all down before Paige could reach him.

Paige sees Daisuke’s weak armor cracking before she even reaches him. Daisuke’s legs quiver. Paige shouts, “That was a bad potion! You should have listened to me! It’s time to put you out of your misery!”

A huge pincer and massive crab-like arm pierce out of Daisuke’s armor. More crab arms with sharp pincers break free from the armor! Paige reacts, “Fuck! Did that potion give you a parasite? I’m going to have to fight a monster!” Daisuke states, “It’s just me! I feel stronger!”

Daisuke drops his sword while his armor gets completely destroyed. The skin on his back hardens and grows larger like a shell. Spikey points form on his new horseshoe crab back. The frontside of his body is completely crab-like. He has four pairs of horseshoe crab arms and stands on one pair of anthropomorphic horseshoe crab legs. He has one long tail.

Paige swings her mace and hits Daisuke’s sturdy back. Daisuke giggles, “You’re tickling me.” His large horseshoe crab back knocks the mace out of Paige’s hands as he turns around. Paige isn’t in a position to pick the flung mace from the ground.

Paige grumbles, “How am I supposed to defeat you?” Daisuke gloats, “You can’t defeat me. Don’t worry. I’ll go easy on you and let you quit.” Paige argues, “I’ll never quit!” Daisuke flexes his powerful horseshoe crab arms. His penis becomes erects and flops up. Daisuke asks, “Do I have to pound some sense into you?”

Daisuke’s arms swiftly move to Paige. He tears apart Paige’s golden armor with his pincers! Paige stumbles out of the broken armor and falls to the floor.
