The light early morning snow had picked up into a proper blizzard once Dr. Rebecca Stone had finished seeing Thunder and Soy off. The freelance Druggist sighed and shook her head as she shut the doors to the basement level of the clinic and went back to the front office to finish up paperwork. Gunshot traumas, burns, people who ate too much or ate something they really shouldn’t have, completely random incidents with people trying to come up with new and interesting ways to use ordinary cooking appliances… the blond cyber-medic had seen pretty much everything in Adipose City and stitched up just about everything in order to keep the lights on in her clinic.

As the snow storm continued to rage outside of her little clinic in a isolated corner of Adipose City, Stone continued to finish up her paperwork until the electronic door chime signaled that someone else had entered the sterile little waiting room. The surprisingly petite woman looked up and smiled as she saw who ambled through the door and her eyes went wide when she saw what he was wearing.

Christmas had already come and gone yet Daisy Dukes was still in the festive spirit as the immense red fox femboy came in wearing black heeled boots, a red Santa hat, a matching red knee-length coat with white furred trim, and as he opened the coat up… little else but a festive red speedo.

“Hiya sugs, I heard you were a good girl this year so Santa Fox is here to make sure you get a ho-ho-ho!” The enormous pear-shaped fox winked and snickered at his own little joke as he thumped his thunderous thighs and wobbly rump.

Stone’s smile broadened as her heart skipped a beat while she looked her lover over and drank up the sight of him. It had been too long since the two of them had last seen each other Those long locks of brown hair, those pale blue eyes, the rust red fur, his soft white-furred underbelly, and of course a mammoth backside that would never quit and thighs thicker then tree trunks that came from years of feasting on good Southern cooking. A heavenly body that was made all the better by the fact that DeeDee had proven to be the complete package, everything she could have wanted in a man and infinitely more then she felt she deserved.

Pleased that he had her rapt attention, DeeDee continued, his face still wearing that same mischievous smile. “It’s been way too long hon. Work kept us both too busy it looks like. I have a present for you in my sack… and not the one you’ve been looking at.” He chuckled, patting his speedo-clad bulge before digging into a black shoulder bag. “Had to ask Hotcakes and Ginger Ale for ideas for what I should put in it but I think you’ll like it.” The brown-haired fox explained as he pulled out an armored medic’s case. A full-sized trauma case built out of bulletproof plastic polymers, a simple but extremely pragmatic gift. Especially given how her previous bag was a well-loved one made of fraying synthetic fibers.

“Daisy… thank you.” She beamed as she tested the heft and handle of the case, noticing that it had a bit more heft then she expected. Almost like there was more in it then a box or two of bandages…

The fox animan smiled. “Open it.” He gestured with a knowing grin.

Curious, she set the container on its side and opened it. There were a couple boxes of different sizes and styles of bandages… and a full set of Expandex medical scrubs and an unlabeled manila envelop. Her lover blushed. “Sorry, been so long I forgot your size so I figured I couldn’t go too wrong with Expandex.”

Stone rolled her eyes and shook her head but gave him a coy smirk all the same before she turned her attention to the envelope. Unfolding the metal tabs on the sturdy honey yellow paper, she opened the envelope and emptied the contents on the receptionist’s desk. Immediately her face turned beet red as she looked back at DeeDee. “And you’re alright with giving this to me?”

The femboy “sexy Santa” smiled. “Blame Moore for this one, she’s been trying to get out of owing me one for the miracle I pulled getting our car working again during the Adipose-Munich Run. She’s the one that managed to talk Newcastle and Flapjack into giving you two teddy bears and a puppy… I think she loves you almost as much as I do in her own strange way.” Dee nodded, gesturing to the pictures that had made her blush so hard.

On the table were a trio of pictures, one of Jennifer “Tankass” Moore, one of Gabriel Newcastle, and one of the Canadian grizzly Flapjack. The big brown bear Moore had taken a picture of herself laying on a memory foam mattress, her long blond hair in a extremely rare unbraided state and her blue eyes cast a confidently coy glint as she looked up at the camera. The massive pear-shaped she-bear was entirely nude except for a red ribbon tied delicately around her neck. On the back was a handwritten note, Stone didn’t realize people still wrote out things other then their names anymore, that read “To the only girl I would consider going down on and the only one that can get away with calling me Tank Ass. XOXOXO, Jennifer Moore. PS: If Dum-Dum ever breaks up with you, there’s always room for you in my bunk.”

The picture of Flapjack, the other Burger World “teddy bear”, was of him lying comfortably on his side in front of a stone fireplace with a roaring fire behind him. A tawdry Canadian flag was hung on the mantle behind him as he rested a hand on his big belly and faced the camera as nude as Moore was, the black-haired bear was wearing nothing but a red ribbon tied around his neck and his brown eyes were wearing their best bedroom expression. It was a nice image, it definitely gave Stone a strong urge to hug Flapjack just to bury her face in that huge pancake-fed gut of his, but she could also tell he required the most persuasion out of the two men. “Someone sure looks like they had to be bribed or blackmailed into doing this.” She chuckled, pointing at the smile that looked somewhat forced. She also noticed he was the only one who didn’t write anything on the back of his picture other then his name.

“Heh, yeah Flap had to be dragged kicking and screaming into this one, bless his heart. Newcastle on the other hand, he just asked ‘Is Stone that crazy street doc that escaped from Hamburg?’ Once we said yes, he was completely onboard with the idea.”

The German shepherd animan by comparison did seem to be enjoying it a great deal more then Flapjack. Sitting on his knees with his arms held up in a playful puppy dog gesture and a huge smile on his face, the big-bellied canine was completely nude except for his tri-color fur and a leather dog collar with a metal heart-shaped tag labeled “Killer.” Behind him was the computer generated image of a little red doghouse that apparently belonged to “Killer” as well. “Killer” had written the following on the back of his picture: “We never met but I’ve heard a lot about you. If you ever want to change that, this puppy’s always eager to play. Signed, Gabriel Newcastle.”

Rebecca Stone’s face was still fairly flush but the initial embarrassment had finally started to fade. “I can’t believe… wow.” A number of conflicting feelings began to well up inside of her. Stone had essentially dropped off the face off the planet due to a sudden increase in her workload; she had honestly thought the others had all moved on without her by now. Yet not only was DeeDee here but he brought proof that Moore was still thinking of her fondly and that this Newcastle fellow was impressed enough with her that he could be easily convinced to pose nude for a woman he hadn’t even met.

Her lover smiled. “I gotta be honest, I wasn’t sure of the idea myself but the look on your face just now hon, that made my week. Betty was a little miffed at the idea though.” He snickered slightly.

The street medic raised an eyebrow at this tidbit. “She didn’t think it was appropriate?” Betty was fairly loose when it came to this sort of thing but she still tried to maintain some semblance of professionalism.

“What? No. She thinks we shortchanged you by stopping at only two teddies and a puppy. She wanted to see about squeezing a couple more of us into the envelope, she might still drop by later this week even if she’s the only taker.” He countered before continuing with a very foxy grin on his face. “Although speaking of packages you haven’t been able to get to yet…” He chuckled, reaching back down to give his red-covered member another suggestive pat with a black-furred hand.

Stone smiled. “Do you want to skip to making up for lost time or start by showing me some of those magnificent moves of yours?”

“Up to you hon.” He snickered and gestured in the general direction of the stairs leading to her flat over top the clinic.

Stone did not need any further persuasion, leading Daisy Dukes into the corridor connecting the reception area to the rest of the clinic while she quickly checked the time and locked up. Was it her imagination or was he glancing at the doorway leading down into the basement where she kept the Withered? She shrugged and led him upstairs into her studio apartment.

DeeDee chuckled slightly as he hung up his Santa hat and coat on the rack by the door as he looked around at her apartment. Just the way he remembered it being. Small yet cozy, comfortable yet lacking any knick-knacks or other signs of personality, the apartment was very much like its owner. It met all the basic requirements for being inviting but didn’t dare show anything that revealed its true colors. Dukes suspected what little that told the real story of Rebecca Stone was tucked away in a packed go-bag next to a loaded pistol. The coat and hat he just hung up was certainly the only real color that was in this place. Moore could have easily used this as a setup for a tasteless joke about him being more of a woman then Stone was but then again, the boorish Road Hog did make it clear she drew the line at anything that came close to making fun of people like Stone.

Boots pressed into the pale white carpet as the fox animan followed after Stone, broad hips swaying to and fro with a playful flick of his bushy tail. Waiting until she had pushed the coffee table aside and taken a seat on the couch, DeeDee ambled in front of her and turned away from her. Bending over, the Burger World mechanic looked over his shoulder and winked at her, giving his round rump a playful slap that sent wobbly ripples through his flabby cheeks. Straightening his himself back up, Dee rested his hands against the back of his head and started to sway back and forth as he began to throw his body into a spirited belly dance. Rebecca watched her lover dance and made his rump bounce and jiggle as he started to drift closer, closer, then slowed down and reached up to pull Stone up to her feet.

Wrapping her arms around his thick midsection, Stone suggestively teased the wrapping of her last present from DeeDee. A second later she was able to finally enjoy her present… the best present out of all the ones he gave her.
