Anthro Vs Human Chapter 13
I hope beyond all hope this shows up even though I am sure the chapter for the story is utter shit and chances are I will write again but either way here it is if it uploads correctly this time.
It had been two or three days since Alex showed up at the anthro kingdom to prove he cared for Koren. The feline had been head over heels ever since, having gone from depressed and moping to smiling and purring most of the day. Alex found it hard to really move around the castle on his own due to the maids and guards watching his every move but his time he got with Koren more then made for it.
It was early morning on the fourth day when Koren silently slipped into the room Alex was staying in. She moved to the bed, climbing into it after removing the thin gown she usually slept in. She moved under the blankets with Alex who was still sleeping curled up on his side. Koren purred softly and cuddled up close to Alex, licking along his neck slowly in an attempt to wake him. It didn't take much for Alex to stir, feeling the rough tongue against his skin. Alex opened his eyes with a groan, instantly wrapping his arm around her and pulling her body close to his as he whispered softly. "Your going to get into trouble slipping in here nude..." Koren giggled and purred as she was pulled to him, her arms wrapping around him and holding him as she pressed her head to his, beginning to gently nuzzle as she spoke softly to him. "They are sound asleep...Daddy is a deep sleeper and I am not worried about momma getting mad about this...besides. I miss laying with you...sleeping beside you."
Alex felt himself blushing when he heard her words. He smiled and began running his fingers through the fur along her back slowly, enjoying the soft feeling against his skin while he took a deep breathe, pressing his lips to hers softly a few times before he spoke softly. "I missed sleeping beside you to...but you can't sneak in here like this to much...I don't think your mother would be able to save my ass from your father if he caught you." Koren smiled and pressed her forehead to his, closing her eyes with a deep and content breathe coming from her. After a few minutes the two fell asleep for a while longer, neither knowing that Soren had been keeping track of Korens every movements and was growing to hate Alex more and more.

It was late that morning when Alex and Koren arrived at the dining hall for a late breakfast. The two were grinning to each other and holding hands. That alone was enough to tick off Nicholas but he kept his mouth shut. He was starting to slowly get used to Alex. He had been watching Koren for the last three days. He had seen how happy she was with Alex even after how he treated her when they first met. Koren and Alex sat at the table, soon joined by Soren a moment later. The prince looked between the two lovers, his ears folding back against his head while Samuel sat beside his son with a huff that made Alex look up from talking with Koren. Samuel locked eyes on Alex, staring him down in silence for a moment or two before he spoke softly. "Alright boy...getting a bit to cozy with her aren't you?" Alex frowned some while Koren folded her ears back, looking to Samuel.
"Your words are not needed King Samuel...for all I care you and your son can go home." Nicholas stood his ears up while Samuel and Soren sat there in stunned silence. "Excuse me?" Samuel stared at her with a growing look of anger while Soren crossed his arms, glaring at Alex. "You heard me. You know damn well I am not going to marry your son, a man I do not know...now leave Alex alone and leave me alone." Koren stood up, Alex standing a moment later before the two turned and left the dining hall. Nicholas sat there with a shocked look before looking to Samuel and Soren. Samuel looked to Nicholas and growled. "Get your daughter under control and get it through her head that his deal was made when she was born...she has no choice." He stood up and stormed off while Soren stood and moved to leave the dining hall as well.
Nicholas sat there sighing, rubbing his forehead and groaning a bit. "God help me..." While Nicholas remained at the table Soren had followed Koren and Alex to the garden, spying the two sitting at a table that was set up outside among the flowers, the maids bringing food to them. Soren folded his ears back and growled softly, his tail twitching in anger. Soren watched the two holding hands and nuzzling each other between bites of food until finally he couldn't take it anymore. He had come to this kingdom to walk away wit ha bride and he wasn't going to let some human take it away. Soren pulled a small dagger from his boot and made his way over to the table as Alex was standing to go walk through the garden with Koren.
"It is time for you to leave human...you have stayed long enough." Alex blinked and looked at Soren as he got closer. Koren folded her ears back and hissed at Soren as she moved a bit closer to Alex. "Back down Soren!" Soren ignored Koren, grabbing her by the arm and pulling her away from Alex rather roughly and making her wince in pain from the grip he had on her which shocked her given how weak he looked. Alex frowned and turned to face Soren while he spoke in a calm but commanding tone. "Let her go Soren..." The prince folded his ears back and gripped onto Korens arm a bit tighter. "I will not...I will not let you keep me from having my bride...your not welcome here and it is time for you to leave." Koren finally managed to jerk her arm free from Sorens grasp, slapping him across the face and growling as she moved between him and Alex. "How dare you grab onto me like that! I want you and your father out of this castle! I will not be marrying you!" Alex grinned some when he heard Korens declaration and moved to gently pull her back towards him. Soren folded his ears back and one could almost hear the gears in his head grind to a screeching halt. The prince snapped and lunged at Alex, not really caring if Koren was between them.
Alex let out a yell when Soren attacked but it wasn't out of fear. Koren was caught between the two men, trying to push Soren away as the prince moved to stab Alex. Soren tried more then once to stab Alex but only managed to cut his arm with the blade. two or three of his attacks ended up hitting Koren, once in the shoulder and the rest in her back. Alex finally managed to land a punch in Sorens jaw, knocking him back before moving to jump on him just as Nicholas and Samuel made it to the gardens. Samuel snarled and moved to yank Alex off of Soren, tossing him away from his son before moving ot help him up. Soren was breathing heavily as he got to his feet, rubbing his jaw and glaring at Alex who moved to Koren, pulling her close to him and gently holding her. Nicholas moved to the two of them, looking to see the blood staining his daughters gown. At first he thought Alex might have attacked her but his train of thought was cut off when Alex spoke. "Don't even think of blaming me for this one! Soren attacked me, Koren was between us and he stabbed her."
Nicholas stared at Alex in shock before turning to see Soren and Samuel both looking back at him. Samuel turned his gaze to Soren, speaking softly as he gripped his sons shoulder. "Did you really attack them?" Soren huffed a few times and nodded a bit. " I meant to attack him...Koren was the one who didn't get out of the way." Nicholas stood there stunned before finally shaking his head. "Guards take Soren and lock him in the cells...Samuel is to be locked in his room with guards posted at the doors..." The guards nodded to the king and moved to escort both Samuel and Soren back into the castle while Alex was standing with Koren cradled in his arms. "She needs the Doctors." Nicholas nodded and walked with him back into the castle, leading him to the Doctors who took Koren and started to check her wounds. Koren was wincing in pain as she was cleaned up. The stabs were not nearly as bad as they could have been but she would be sore and in pain for some time before they would heal.
