Harley Quinn
_ _
“Mm-hm-hm-mm-hm, mm-hm-hmmm…"
Harley Quinn hummed a tune to herself that didn't mean anything to anyone besides her – but that was not important, not truly. She was sneaking, of course, but when wasn't she being sneaky? Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky-sneaky-sneak! It was fun, but only for a little while, ducking around corners in the industrial area, warehouses and work buildings towering. It was the perfect spot for crime, especially out of the few streetlights and security lights around there, but there didn't seem to be anyone else around there either.
Harley frowned, puffing out her cheeks with a big sigh, though it practically came out as a raspberry, tongue poking out briefly from between her lips.
“Oof! Where is everyone?"
She, however, was talking to an empty lot, one streetlight flickering and buzzing, clearly on the fritz and the way out. That wasn't something that was going to bother her, no, but she was bored to death and back again! And she should know what that felt like, especially when her Pudding too didn't seem to be up to anything interesting at all those days.
Boredom… It wasn't the sort of thing that Harley Quinn liked, not at all. Her mind wandered and jumped from one thing to the other – so that was exactly why she was hanging out down there, looking for some excitement, looking for some action. She just wanted to throw a few pranks around and the like, so that was par for the course for her, but she couldn't just prank someone if they weren't around or going to come by soon.
She sighed and wrinkled her nose, slumped back against the wall as if the weight of the whole world and more was on her shoulders.
“Ugh… Where even is Mr Batty," she whined, folding her arms and pouting petulantly. “Do bats even take vacations? Shouldn't he be skulking around, doing do-good things…the do-gooder?"
Her brow furrowed. No one around, no guards and no Batman, not even a civilian or annoying bystander. What the hell was she supposed to do?
It was a little more populated when she moved into the more active parts of the city, though there was little to no nightlife to be had in the middle of the week, despite the casinos still being all lit up, as if to draw in more and more people. She grumbled and jumped from rooftop to rooftop, finding nothing and no one all that interesting there to prank. Civilians were beneath her, so dumb and so stupid, they probably wouldn't even know where the prank itself had come from if she laid one on them!
“Hmm…"
She darted to the roof of Gotham Central Bank, flipping down, easily, jumping from wall to wall. Being an acrobat was certainly of benefit to her despite the heights at play and Harley could not even remember the last time that she had ever felt any true sense of fear. She just trusted in her abilities and – pop! Things just happened, her body flying and flipping through the air as easily as anyone might have liked. Years and years of practice and an innate, casual knowledge of her body helped there.
“Oof."
She landed lightly, though still made a show of it, stretching out her back and pushing her hips forward with her back arched. Behind Gotham Central Bank, there should have been plenty at stake, though Harley wasn't in the mood for a bank robbery and, frankly, that one needed a little more attention and forethought: neither of which were things that she was good at. She always managed to get herself through a pickle, however, every time.
Harley made a face, her stomach gurgling very faintly. She had been out for rather a while, but it was not hunger for which her stomach was rumbling, the twisting discomfort a little lower in her belly, more of a signal than any manner of true pain.
“Ugh… About time!"
Harley muttered under her breath, though she was glad, at last, to at least have that urge to go to the bathroom. It wasn't that she had not been trying, of course, but sometimes constipation could sneak up on even her. It was not comfortable, to say the least, but feeling the need come up again was something that had her wanting to go to the bathroom again, regardless of where she was.
A lamp post near the end of the back alley gave her a little light to see with and Harley ran over, a little more urgently than she usually would have.
“Finally, finally, finally!"
She groaned, yanking down her red and black trousers, though she was glad in her usual outfit, the corset barely covering her breasts while it was fastened tightly enough to keep everything where it was supposed to be. She wore a black shirt under it too, of course, but that was more for comfort than any sense of modesty; Harley would have gone about completely naked if it would not have gotten her put back in jail, like, right away. In much the same vein, hanging out her bare buttocks was not a problem at all to her as she hovered there, squatting as low as she could and bearing down.
“Oof…"
She was not usually one to make sounds like that when she was going to the bathroom, on the edge of the pool of light, but the gurgling in her lower abdomen was not something, not even then, that she could ignore to easily. Harley made a face, though, as was the case with so much with her, she was putting it on all for show. In a sense, an acrobat like her was still a performer, even though her displays were rather different than the ones that she would have been better used to putting on.
Still, it was better to be pushing down, starting on the first bowel movement of several to come. It would take a bit to fully empty her bowels, though Harley did not mind that all that much, not when it meant that she would feel an awful lot more comfortable afterwards.
She pressed down, working out the thick bowel movement, the log of waste pushing out and out and out. And yet…it seemed different to normal. It was not breaking up into separate logs and there were not even smaller pieces of poop in there either to break it up – just one monster sausage of poop that went on and on and on! Even Harley was surprised as she made the faintest of grunts int eh back of her throat and pushed down harder, intent only on easing it out. The strain pulled at her muscles, muscles that she never usually had to pay much attention to, though she had to keep going.
Looks like I might be in for a more difficult bathroom trip than usual…
_ _
It would be okay though, suppressing her grunts, not wanting to make noise that time, not when there was something there that was worth, in a way, making noise about. It was weird when people were noisy about going to the bathroom, she had decided long ago, though it was relieving to finally get her constipation over and done with.
It just kept going though, shocking her further, startling even a deranged little giggle from her lips. There was only so much Harley could do about it, now that she was well and truly in the middle of the bowel movement, her guts twisting a little, the push of sore muscles almost too much for her to work through. Her leg jigged, straining to relieve her body of the huge, thick log of waste, though it was hard for Harley to even start suspecting just how large it was, even if it had to be something like the biggest poop she'd ever done.
“Unff… Come on…"
But she was nearly there, her cheeks blowing out with air as the jester put in even more effort, her pigtails swinging back and forth. It dropped, finally, Harley letting out a much softer sigh. Oh, the relief! It was like nothing she had ever felt before, brimming through her, even as she cleaned up, though that took a little longer that time and she did not yet pull her trousers and belt back into place.
Still, she could not resist checking her poop, even though that was not something that she usually did. If Harley caught sight of her own poop, which she was not squeamish about in the slightest, it was often because she was playing a prank on someone with it, leaving a little poop present for some person or the other. She didn't always make it a strict habit to check her waste, but that time seemed to be more required than others.
“Hm…"
Harley pursed her lips as she checked out her bowel movement, surprised even then to see one, very long log of waste on the ground. Wow, it was big! It had to be a good eighteen inches long, perhaps even longer than that, and was hard, very hard, with the surface crackled and marked as if her guts had really been straining to work that one from her. The end was a little tapered where her sphincter had neatly pinched it off, though the thickness of it too, well… Even with all the bowel movements she'd had in weird and wonderful locations, Harley was surprised that something that big had come from her. The compaction, perhaps, was something that she would have to pay more attention to in the future, even though such boring things like diet and lifestyle weren't exactly the sort of things that the jester wanted to consider at any time. Who had the time for that when there was so much mayhem, after all, to be caused?
She sighed, though did not ignore the warm tinge of pride at passing such a big, hard bowel movement, something that even she should be mighty impressed with.
I guess that's what I get for being so constipated, she thought, a little giggle bursting from her lips. My… It is a shame that this poop can't be put to better use though… Oh, it would be perfect for a prank!
_ _
Still, perhaps the night was not quite as lost as Harley Quinn might have thought… For her bowels gurgled and she felt like she still needed to go to the bathroom, for which even she was surprised. But everything would have to come out of her, one way or the other…
Cyborg
Cyborg stood tall and quiet, assigned by the Justice League to cover the night shift in Gotham City, though not much was happening on a quiet spring night. It was cool enough to be comfortable still and he'd been more than happy to step up to the plate when Batman had been injured in a fight with Victor Zsasz, who had stabbed him several times. Of course, Batman had, eventually, been able to subdue him and return him to Arkham Asylum, but time still had to be taken to recover from wounds like that, despite his equipment and protective armour.
He may need to make some upgrades to that…
_ _
After all, criminals were getting more and more testing with every passing day. With Batman laid up and not able to patrol Gotham, Cyborg could step up, using the AI built into his body to scan for criminal activity.
Across his vision, a red line swept, taking in skyscrapers and banks and casinos and more, sweeping through the city.
All clear, the AI chirped, sounding in his brain through the transplanted chip. Continue scan.
_ _
Cyborg settled back on his heels, not feeling the freshness of the breeze as he let the city come to him, though his eyes, outside the use of AI, caught something rather shady.
“Hm…"
Gotham Central Bank was a target to many, though not one that Cyborg had thought would be attempted that night, no. It was quiet and there had been no rumblings in the darkness of the seedy criminal underground about anything that big going off, but it was still worth checking out the red and black figure ducking around behind the bank.
No one in a back alley at that time of night, dawn flickering dimly on the spring horizon, was going to be up to any good, after all…
Zooming in, the world came into focus with his cybernetic eye. He could still access the peripherals, but it would take a moment for his eye to catch up, seeing it clearly, though zooming in on the finer details took a moment or two, depending on the connection. The figure was that of a seemingly young adult woman, however, one with bouncing pigtails, one red and one black, but only at the tips. The rest of her hair was blonde and he caught the flicker of a smirk on her red lips before she disappeared. Although she could have passed for someone heading back from a night out clubbing, with the lack of nightlife in Gotham when it came to the middle of the week and the location, that wasn't something at all that seemed all that plausible. On the contrary, it was easily suspicious that someone dressed like that would be skulking down behind the bank as if they had any right to be there at all.
Identified, Harley Quinn. His AI was quick on the draw at least, even though Cyborg was not as familiar with Gotham and that local area especially, passing on, at least, the information the system had available. Criminal, villain, prankster, often seen around the Joker.
_ _
That was one name that he did know and it was a powerful name too, as much as everyone had tried to strip the Joker of his power, time after time again. Of course, he was at large yet again, having escaped from Arkham Asylum, but that one, hopefully, was not going to be for him to deal with primarily. He liked things that were predictable and simple, something straightforward.
She was not, not someone that would be erratic enough to prank and still be a villain. He didn't understand that – and yet he had to investigate.
A known associate of the Joker, he thought, keeping an eye on where she had gone. She must be up to something, with the bank most likely.
_ _
He would have been quite surprised to find out that Harley was trying to rob the bank, but she could, at the very least, be trying to gather some kind of intel so that they could stage a bank robbery. It was exactly the sort of thing that the Justice League had asked him to keep an eye out for during his patrols, all so Gotham City would know that it was not unprotected even if they did not see Batman around in the dark of the night.
Cyborg pressed his lips into a line, using the AI system to turn on his sound-dampening technology, all so his feet barely made a noise as he ran over the rooftops. It was not far away, thankfully, but enough that he had to leap and silently scale the side of the building to get back to ground level, dropping down quietly near the corner where Harley had moved into the back alley behind the bank itself.
Although he could not see her directly, his cybernetic eye found her heat signature even through the solid back wall of the bank, showing an outline of her crouching down low to the ground. Against himself, a rush of pride swamped Cyborg.
Now, I've got you…
_ _
That was perfect, all while she was unaware, all while her attention, very much so, was nowhere near him at all. He'd have her before she could enact whatever nefarious plan she had in mind, thwarting her and the Joker once again.
His anti-criminal technology engaged as he stood tall, allowing him to capture her without even moving a physical muscle. With a snap, two handcuffs launched from him, wrapping themselves around Harley's wrists and locking magnetically behind her back, all as he stepped quietly and calmly around the corner, as if he had been there the whole time.
“Hey! What gives?"
Harley squirmed and wrenched, but the magnetic handcuffs held fast as he levelled his arm cannon, crackling in taser mode in case she tried to fight back with anything more than the words of a viper. Or maybe she was more of a common adder, he thought to himself, Harley scowling at him, though she didn't move, her chin tilted up defiantly.
“What gives?" She repeated as he stood before her, though Cyborg caught the surprise in her face, that slight wrinkle between her eyebrows. “I'm just back here, doing nothing…"
“State our business, Harley Quinn," he said, otherwise ignoring her words. “You are under suspicion of criminal activity."
“Whaaaat?"
She snapped, though managed to keep her balance there, even with her shoulder blades being pulled back at a rather sharp angle. Her gymnast abilities must have come into play there, though Cyborg was still learning about the many criminals of Gotham City and their unique traits. The sharp flash of anger in her eyes drew him up short, however.
“What do you think my business is, Cyborg?" She growled. “Are you blind? I'm tryin' to take a dump here, dimwit!"
He blinked at her, hearing her words, even though they did not immediately register with him. A dump? Like, a waste recycling centre? Was that the common word for it?
Not understanding her fully, he switched off his AI supplemental scanners and augmented vision technology, all so he could see things close-up a little more clearly, though it would never quite be “normal" for him, not like that. As she scowled at him, lips pressed together and pursed in apparent distaste and disapproval towards him, he stepped around her, scanning the area visually.
She ignored him, partly, squatting again to keep her balance – and then he got to see exactly what she had been doing around there. Caught, literally, with her pants down, she had been going to the bathroom!
It did not register in a way that his body could react, not in that moment, not as his mind reeled and his eyes scanned the area, taking in the fact that she was squeezing out a poop right at that very moment. There was already a monstrous, eighteen-inch bowel movement lying on the ground a step away from where she had been – he must have jostled her when he had captured her, moving her away from where she had been defecating. It was a much larger poop than any human body, or beyond, had any right to produce and there was another thinner, eight-inch poop sitting next to it, laid out neatly as if they were both gifts and offerings of some kind.
He shuddered and stepped back, shaking his head. What the hell had he gotten himself into? The jester rolled her eyes at him and he still didn't quite know whether it was a prank or not, not something that he had unknowingly walked in on that had been pre-planned, for once, lost for words.
But there was only so much that Cyborg could do as he watched, horrified, as Harley Quinn expelled a third poop, though it seemed to be just as large as the first with how much force she had to put into it! The log of waste, even though he knew he should not have been looking, was impossible to miss as he tried to collect himself, though time seemed to have slowed around him, leaving him paralyzed to do anything other than to take in everything that he had stumbled upon.
Even though she was handcuffed, there was nothing that she could do about the needs of her body, quite clearly, her lips pressed together as she stared defiantly back at him. There were no further words needed, not from her, though she didn't seem bothered at all about the fact that she was defecating and had her pants down in front of someone. Cyborg could have cursed himself, but if he had not been using his cybernetic eye, he would have at least been able to see that she had her pants down, not solely focusing on her heat signature through the wall of the bank.
Harley clearly could not stop and neither did she have any inclination to as she bore down on what turned out to be a long, solid, thick sixteen-inch bowel movement. Silence rang through the night, louder than anything else, down there in the back alley, as the log of poop, so much more solid and heavy than he could have anticipated, dropped to the ground.
It hit the ground with dull splat, a thud that could not have been louder in the quiet. They stared at one another, though Harley was not able to re-dress herself at that point, for she still was not done defecating. She did, however, slide her gaze away from him as her cheeks heated up in anger.
He grunted and coughed into his hand, not knowing quite what else to do, turning off the magnetic handcuffs as quickly as he could, having come to his senses again. What a situation to walk in on! Though he could not possibly be made to feel bad for thinking that she was engaging in crime, as she clearly so often was, even though she had not been. And was public defecation not even something that he could call her on? He was not sure, but, then again, he had never been put in a situation quite like that.
“Um… Here you go."
His voice dropped an octave, becoming gruffer than it naturally was, Harley putting her hands out a little on either side of her so that she was better able to hold her balance.
“Gee, thanks, mister," she said sarcastically – or, at least, Cyborg thought it was sarcasm. “Dunno what I'd've done if you hadn't so kindly released me. Honestly, this thing is all one big joke…"
Cyborg didn't know what to say about that, though Harley continued pooping right there before him. Just how much poop could possibly remain in someone's body? It seemed like far, far too much for anyone to need to excrete, though he didn't know what to say.
He did know what to do, however, as Harley grunted, indicating that she still wasn't quite done. There had to be at least one more bowel movement to come, completing everything, and he grunted in turn, turning away to give her privacy. It was a little too late, even though he had not been looking at her body, for Harley's privacy had already been more than stripped from her, seemingly in no time at all.
Finally, Harley was able to expel the final log of waste from her, something far more normal, supposedly, a thinner, five-inch log of poop that was a little softer, dropping to the ground with a wetter splat than the one that had preceded it, while Cyborg had been there. The rustle of clothes caught his attention, but, even though he wasn't at all comfortable keeping his back to Harley, heat creeping down his neck and stirring up embarrassed knots in his stomach, he did not turn around. Maybe that was going to turn out to be a bad thing, but it still seemed quite like the lesser of the evils when it came to doing something to afford her some level of privacy and modesty after everything.
“I'm finished," she said, her tone shorter and more clipped than Cyborg had thought Harley Quinn the jester would come off. “No thanks to you."
He would have squirmed if he had not been on the job, stomach churning, anxiety twisting through him. It was just weird, so weird, everything embarrassing, heated and excruciating. If he could have walked away right there and then he would have done so, but he had inadvertently created a situation that he could not simply leave behind. He had to do something then, had to make things right, one way or the other.
That did not at all stop the slow burn of embarrassment curling through him, lips pressed together as he awkwardly shuffled back around, looking and then sliding his gaze away once more as if he couldn't even face her fully. What if she wasn't dressed? What if there was something more coming and the jester was twisting everything into a wickeder prank still? He didn't know what Harley Quinn was capable of and he was not going to be found knocked out in a back alley anywhere near her poop!
Not if he had any say in it.
Harley, however, took the wind well and truly out of his sails as he faced her, the jester standing tall, a dark look on her face. The jester's arms were crossed and, somehow, that made him feel even more uncomfortable, as if she was the one with some semblance of power and control, the one who held all the cards. Ironically, that would have been a fitting thing for a jester too, though it was hard for him to think everything through while dealing with the twisting of his embarrassment at the same time.
“Why'd ya handcuff me while I was pooping?" She demanded, though there was not a hint of embarrassment on her face. “I was just down here, doing my business, not bothering nobody. So, come on then, you must have some kinda fancy explanation for that, hm?"
She didn't seem to be concerned at all about getting caught, though she was upset with him, that much was clear. For some reason that Cyborg could not fathom, however, Harley Quinn was genuinely interested in his explanation. As much as Cyborg tried not to look, however, he could not stop his eyes from sliding back to her logs of waste, not a pile but scattered a little from him having interrupted her halfway through, as if he needed to see the evidence of his embarrassment with his own eyes.
It was obscene… And, still, he owed her an explanation of some kind, despite the creeping heat and cold sweat prickling down him, not knowing what else to do. He swallowed hard and drew himself up as tall as possible, trying to maintain an air of being in control, one way or the other. Things, however, were never that easy.
“I apologise," he said, coming off as stiffer than he intended. “I had my augmented AI vision switched on and…well, it supplies additional information to me, though it obscures much of my vision too with detailed data, more information again."
“So?" Harley said, though she seemed a little more interested and less upset now that she had her clothes back on, though Cyborg was finding it more and more difficult to read her. “Why'd that matter with anything."
“It obscures my vision," he repeated, hoping that she'd understand. “I had not noticed at all what you were doing and thought that you had bent down, perhaps retrieving some weapons, further gear… I did not believe that you would have been, ah…well…that you would have been…"
He trailed off, as if those had been all the words that he had to spare, not knowing what on earth else he could add. It was all just so embarrassing.
“I just wanted to handcuff you quickly, before any criminal activity occurred," he said, though that didn't seem much of a strong way to finish off things at all. “I did not think that anything of that nature would be happening and, for that, you have my sincerest apologies."
Harley pursed her lips and nodded, putting her hands on her hips.
“Hm… Yes, you do see the world quite a bit differently than most of us," she said, clearly showing her understanding. “Being, y'know, half machine and all… That must be super weird for you."
Cyborg twitched. That was almost a more uncomfortable line of questioning than it had been to find her in such a compromising position!
“Well, I had no interest in robbing this stupid bank, I'll have you know, mister," she declared, pushing her shoulder blades back and standing up straight, her elbows jutting out at sharp angles. “I don't need no money to be just handed to me, I don't need anything like that! Cat's not even around and, ugh, robbing banks is just no fun without her!"
Cyborg cleared his throat, choosing, at least for the moment, to ignore the admission that she had engaged in past criminal activity. The whole of Gotham City and beyond surely already knew that that was the case and him letting that little admission slide surely wasn't going to cause any great amount of harm in the grand scheme of things. The fact of the matter there was that she had not done anything wrong and, simply, he could not arrest her for simply walking around and pooping near a bank at night. He'd be laughed away if he tried to bring the notorious Harley Quinn in for public defecation and exposure! There were, most surely, so many bigger fish to fry, as the saying went. He still wasn't sure if he was using that expression correctly, but that was not for him to worry about.
The disengaged handcuffs flew back to him as he withdrew them to his armour, using the magnets to securely tuck them back into the storage compartment where they belonged. Cyborg wasn't all that sure that he was going to be using them again in a hurry though, not after that debacle.
“Hey, that's a pretty cool trick, Mr Cyborg!"
What? He hadn't expected curiosity from Harley, but it well and truly looked like anything she did was going to throw him off his game and surprise him, one way or the other.
“Can you teach me to do that, Mr Cyborg?" She said, all earnest and forward, now that the moment of awkwardness, at least for her, seemed to have passed. “That's a super neat trick!"
He cleared his throat, something that he seemed to be doing rather a lot of at that time.
“Um… My armour is proprietary," he tried to explain. “Its technology… No, it is not to be shared with civilians, much less someone with criminal connections such as yours, Miss Harley Quinn."
“So formal!" She laughed and spun on the spot, balancing on the toes of her right foot, her balance impeccable. “You're no fun at all though. More like Cy-BORING!"
She laughed loudly, peals of mirth echoing off the walls of the alleyway, though he flinched and stepped back. Even her laughter seemed to mess with his tech, as if the peals were so loud and so sharp that they could be used as a weapon to even interfere with his AI communication system. That wasn't something that he wanted to consider too much, for she was just a civilian, at the end of the day.
“Well," she continued. “Have it your way. I'll leave you to your patrolling, though it seems super boring to me. I have important things to do tonight!"
Saluting him, she whipped out a zipline with a wall hook attached to the end and shot it towards the adjoining building to the bank. With a laugh, she shot up as it retracted, shooting her up high, her blonde pigtails whipping through the air as if they too were getting in on her mirth and amusement. Transported away into the night, she left behind Cyborg, alone with a big pile of poop, set on the edge of a pool of light from the lamppost, though it was not something that he wanted to be illuminated.
Slowly, Cyborg shook his head, feeling the enhancements to his body grate and grind against one another in his discomfort, though it did not stop him. It was just his stress and embarrassment getting to him, setting his vital signs into overdrive, taking long, slow, deep breaths to come back to himself.
He took another breath and another.
“Tonight is going to be a long night…"
And yet he had to get back to his job, for it could not be left for someone else, not when he was the one assigned to patrol Gotham City in lieu of Batman.
Strangely enough, he was not looking forward to the rest of his time there…

Wonder Woman & Atom

Wonder Woman
_ _
_ _
Wonder Woman stood with Power Girl on the edge of a thick forest, rich and green, though the autumn air pulled at her, called to her. She tried to settle herself, reminding herself that she was on a mission, but not every day and every mission would be the same for her. She wore her traditional outfit, what was most comfortable and functional for her, her long, skin-tight black leggings that moulded and flexed with the shape of her body. Her red top was shaped like a corset without the restrictions of such, trimmed with gold, though it more than easily covered her breasts, maintaining her modesty. Her lasso of truth was kept on her hip at all times, her long, black hair floating and flowing behind her, coming down to the mid-point of her upper back.
It was comfortable and yet something was different that day. With Power Girl, she at least had a familiar face there, though they had been assigned to destroy one of the facilities there that had been producing an army of robots. The robots had been directed (and produced) by the Crime Syndicate to attack Justice League members, though the security there was exactly as expected: steep. They'd planned or Atom to use his Bio-Belt to shrink to a very small size to sneak into the facility, though they'd complained about only being asked to shrink lately. She didn't know what else to ask them to do, but it was up to the Justice League to decide where Atom was best placed and she didn't personally want any hand in that.
“Is he coming?" Power Girl was just as impatient, tapping her toe on the ground. “It's been…quite a while."
Power Girl seemed to have just a little bit more restraint than Wonder Woman, or maybe it was the fact that Wonder Woman knew her a little better then, during all the missions that they had been on together. She could let a little more of her real self show, knowing that she didn't have to be on top of her game all the time.
Still, Atom would not respond to either of their attempts to communicate and even Power Girl grew antsy, puffing out her cheeks with air, though she just about managed to resist the urge to roll her eyes.
“Okay, I can't hang about here any longer," Power Girl said, throwing up her hands. “Look, how about I go scout out the facility to start? I can see if we can get in without Atom's help, or at least get the lay of the land so that we can help them from a distance. We have to see if he ever shows up though…"
Wonder Woman nodded.
“Sure thing – go on ahead. I don't know what they are doing."
She didn't want to express too much of her frustration, but there was only so much, even then, that she could do.
Staying behind in the forest as Power Girl flew away, Wonder Woman sighed and brushed her fingers back through her hair. It was hard, waiting around, when she was very much a woman of action, someone that wanted to be there in the moment, who wanted to be pushing things forward, step by step. Waiting… It just wasn't her strong suit and it never had been either.
She pressed a hand to her stomach. It was not comfortable, though it was pretty normal for her to feel like she needed to go to the bathroom, even when she was out on a job. So much so that she didn't even give it a second thought at all to head quietly behind one of the trees on the very edge of the forest. If the needs of her body had to be taken care of, she would take her chance to get it all done with as swiftly and efficiently as possible.
Tugging her pants down, she revealed only as much of her buttocks as was strictly needed to defecate. Relieving her bowels came with a gurgling, pushing need, something that made her want to bear down even as she squatted.
“Hm…"
Wonder Woman took a deep breath, pressing down, squeezing muscles that were never usually something that she thought about, but were an intimate, intricate part of the make-up of her body. The first log of waste came out easily, for she had eaten well earlier that day, all so that she would not have to worry about her powers fading or failing at the moment that she needed them the most. She needed to eat a lot more, of course, to fuel her superpowers, but the problem with that came in her needing to relieve her bowels more often than others. It was something that many superheroes had to go through, but, to her, it was commonplace.
The first log of waste was solid and easy to push out, though it didn't have much crackling on the surface, a light shade that depicted that she was in good health, though she only caught sight of that as it dropped to the ground. It was roughly sixteen inches long, though that was a perfectly normal length for her and comfortable for her to excrete. She felt just how hard she had to bear down, but that was just normal for her.
Another had to follow, that one twenty inches long and a little thicker, probably the biggest one that her body was going to push out that time. The light discomfort in her lower stomach lessened with every bowel movement, but that was not the point of it. It was all just something that she had to do, the second bowel movement plopping down softly on the grass.
Wonder Woman kept herself down in a low squat, comfortable for her, though her legs would start to burn if she held the position for a very long time. Pressing out the third poop, she broke for a moment, several smaller, plopping rounds of soft poop breaking the stream. They were merely an interlude, her body pressing down and compacting the poop that was making its way from her body so that it moved right on to the next log of poop. That one was a good size too, though soft enough that she could squeeze it all out quite easily, barely feeling it as it eased from her, dropping with a soft splat.
She took a breath softly, dragging in the air that she needed, though she did seem to be panting ever so slightly from the physical exertion of defecation.
There were still more to come, a fourth and a fifth bowel movement following those that had gone before. They were seventeen inches and twenty-one inches long respectively, though Wonder Woman considered that quite normal and healthy. Those final two were firmer and more compacted, but not to the point that she would have had any concerns about her diet, the very base of her stomach grumbling lightly. Her body pushed down, knowing all that it needed to do to get her through it.
Perhaps it was a good thing that Atom was late, but, well, there was only so much that she could do about things that weren't in her control. She tried to relax a little more for those last two bowel movements, but she had to push down, had to work it all out, until the last one, totalling five large poops, had dropped down securely onto the pile. Wonder Woman exhaled softly, cleaning herself up again and re-dressing, as safe and as efficient as always. All she had to do was to sort herself out and wait for both Power Girl and Atom to show up, at long last for the second one there.
She paused only then, to briefly check her waste. It was just a habit of hers, one that had become even more important in recent years, considering all the food that she had to eat to fuel her superpowers. It was also a very quick way for her to check her health, though it was not an impeccable method.
Wonder Woman's eyes slid down, checking the size, the large bowel movements resting neatly on top of one another. The largest at twenty-one inches had not been as difficult to push out as she might have expected and the shades of them were not all even, two darker than the others. She had been drinking plenty of water lately though and was glad that she had taken the steps there to look after her health to the best of her ability.
After checking her bowel movements, she had to carry on, though she still wondered exactly where Atom was. It had been rather a while…
Atom
_ _
Atom focused, flying his miniature, nuclear-powered ship to the meet-up point on the edge of the forest. Oh, it was good to be back in the game and the field! He'd been laid up after being injured a few months ago and, well, he didn't even want to think about what could have happened if he'd had to stay off work for his injury for even longer. He'd been losing his mind completely, stuck in recovery, as it was.
“Right… Now, we've just got to land this baby…"
That was an easy feat for Atom, but he still set the miniature ship down as gently as he could, on the edge of the forest. The coordinates had to have rung true, but he couldn't see anyone about and neither could he hear anyone.
In his haste, Atom forgot to check the area using his ship's scanners. That was the one and only reason that he was so caught off guard by the squirrel, snuffling up, nose twitching, four times his size.
“Ugh! Shoo!" He waved his hands at it, even though the squirrel was much larger than him, actually a threat to him at that size. “Go on now, off you go!"
He tightened his grip on his Justice League communicator, but didn't have the forethought to make the call right away, not as the squirrel nipped at him with a rumbling chatter, turning its attention to the ship.
“Wait – no, no, no! You leave that alone!"
The squirrel, of course, ignored him completely, grabbing the ship in its not-so-tiny paws and scurrying away. It was quick too! So quick, in fact, that it did him no good to run after it, even though he did for a few steps, waving his arms about.
“Oof!"
It took Atom a moment to realise what had happened, the wing of his ship clipping him as the squirrel ran away from him with the ship tightly clasped in its tiny hand-like paws. The Justice League communicator soared out of his hand into the undergrowth, too small to be found, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway as it smashed into tiny pieces on a rock.
Atom spun away, knocked in the opposite direction, though he barely knew what was happening.
“Ahhhh!"
Oh, he was usually in control, it was unheard of! At least no one was there to see him, but that was barely any comfort at all as he smacked into a tree, dropping to the ground with a solid thump that felt like it should have come from a body much larger than his. He groaned, an arm flung out, though his leg hurt far too much to be normal, struggling to even sit up. His head spun, though Atom would not have gone so far as to curse, though he realised too late that he had been too excited to be involved in a new mission again, so much so that he had not even checked his surroundings adequately.
“Agh…"
He groaned, trying to get up again, his hands fumbling with the settings on his Bio-Belt. Even if he had to drop out of the mission, he could jump back up to his full size using it, just to avoid any more rampant squirrels.
And yet…when he pressed the belt, the large central button, his body sucked in on itself, growing smaller rather than larger! He hit it again, panicked, skin crawling with sweat, but shrank down again, his jaw hanging slack.
Oh, that was the worst! Even his belt had been damaged in the crash! From his quick check, though he didn't dare try out the Bio-Belt again, it looked like he could only shrink, from that point, not grow any larger, not back up to his normal height and size.
“Damn it… This is just what I need…"
Hobbling to his feet, he staggered and limped over to the Justice League communicator, still a bit larger from where it had been left at his previous, if small, size. It was wrecked, however, sparks shooting off from it, obviously smashed without any hope of him putting it back together. But maybe he could at least put out a distress call to Wonder Woman or Power Girl, if they were in the area?
“Communications, this is Atom, we have had a crash, please read my coordinates, there has been a crash, can you hear me?"
He didn't like the panicked edge in his voice, but when there was nothing at all coming back over the communicator he knew he had to find another way, any way, out of a ridiculous situation. What if there were larger predators in the forest too? He couldn't come across one of those while he was so small and his Bio-Belt was damaged!
A branch snapped and Atom's head shot up, heart pounding wildly. Damn it! Was everything going to go wrong that day?
But it was not wrong – it was right! For there was Wonder Woman and Power Girl, right on the edge of the forest at what had to be the meeting place!
“Hey!" He shouted, hopping up and down the best he could on his injured leg. “I'm over here! It's Atom! Come on, help me! Listen to me!"
And yet…his voice was too small to carry far, coming out higher-pitched to anyone of their size. He would only have been a stone's throw from them if he had been his regular size, but there was no way for him to huff and hop and drag himself over there in time, as much as he tried. His injured leg wouldn't take his full weight on it as he limped, pushing through towering blades of grass, too small, too tiny, about the size of an ant. That was ironic, considering who he had been paired up with before…
“Hey! I'm over here! Come on, I'm here! I'm here, I'm here, I'm here!"
He shouted and shouted, but they didn't hear them and he was too injured and far too small to cross the huge distance (to him) between them. Eventually scrambling up on top of a rock, he huffed and panted, rubbing his injured leg, trying to determine the extent of the injury. That, however, was not his strong suit.
How can I get their attention? Even the bugs are louder than me!
_ _
He didn't want to be in that position, but there were bugs and animals out there, bigger animals… It wasn't as if he could just sit and stay there forever, not as Wonder Woman and Power Girl grew increasingly impatient with every minute that passed. Even to their sensitive ears, his voice simply would not carry far enough or loud enough for them to hear him. No one knew he was stuck and tiny, with no communicator to even get in touch with anyone.
Wait – what was that? Power Girl was flying away! Wonder Woman paused for a moment and then stepped out as she strode back into the forest, closer to him. Maybe she was going to look around the forest to see if he had gone to the wrong place? Atom would never have been so glad to see someone thinking less of him if she did, indeed, find him there.
Struggling up again, he hopped the best he could and waved his arms.
“Hey! Wonder Woman! I'm stuck here – help me! I'm hurt! Wonder Woman!"
And yet he could not get her attention as she walked closer, eventually ending up behind the tree that looked to be where the squirrel that had taken his ship had disappeared up into. He almost wished that the tiny beast itself dropped his ship on Wonder Woman's head, for that would certainly give her some indication, seeing the crashed ship, as to what had happened to him.
But then Wonder Woman did something that Atom could never have expected or anticipated. Before his eyes, she squatted and pulled down her pants, as if it was something so normal to her that it did not even bear a look around first, not something that she had to at all concern herself with or worry about. Atom's jaw could not help but drop as she did, well… She did…
Well, Wonder Woman pooped. Of course, Atom reasoned with himself, everyone had to do it, at some time, one way or the other. Everybody pooped. But he had never considered just how Wonder Woman pooped, that she would be so brash and brazen to do it out in the middle of the forest just like that. And what if Power Girl was nearby too? Why was she doing that?
He blinked, all as an exceedingly large bowel movement was excreted, so long, huge, towering above him. It dropped from her with a solid plop that, for him, was more than large enough to shake the ground, tipping him to the side, but he couldn't just stand there watching! He wasn't looking at her and her body, to be fair, but it wasn't right for him to watch her do her business either!
Although there was already one huge poop on the ground, so thick that it was a wonder indeed that it had even come from her body. Surely, it was too big, he thought, though his back was turned to her as she shifted her weight, clearly continuing right on with her bowel movement. But why did she need to go so badly that she had to go out there, in the forest, all where surely anyone could walk in on her? It was hardly a secure area and not private at all…
He was rambling, even in his mind. That was one of the most difficult things to do, knowing what she was doing and still not glancing back, constantly, to see if she was done. It was as if he was suddenly waiting for her, trying to be polite, even though there was nothing polite or discreet about the moment at all.
The rustle of clothing over skin called his attention and Atom, finally, exhaled a sigh of relief. She had to be done. It had felt like an age! And yet he had constantly been afraid that she was going to spot him, even though another part of him, if she had not just been there pooping, wanted to be spotted, wanted to be rescued. There seemed to be no right answer to the situation at hand and, anyway, it was out of his hands.
Wonder Woman, re-dressed, smoothed down her outfit and left the area, as quietly as she had when she had entered, though there was no real difference there to her, the smooth flow of her steps, how her motion carried her forward so very seamlessly. But there was Atom, on top of the rock, left alone, still stuck and still very much tiny.
He gulped, glancing back. There was no point in trying to chase Wonder Woman, but his curiosity and impulsiveness were apt to get the better of him. Against his better judgement, he scrambled down to look at the giant pile of poop that she had left behind.
Strangely enough, he had never examined a pile of poop, or any excrement at all, from his tiny form. It was not something at all that he would have wanted to see, but he was caught by morbid fascination by the rather neat, if huge pile, how it loomed above him, five logs of waste in total. A couple were darker than the others and one was compacted with a light crackling down its length, though Atom knew too that he should not have been inspecting it as he was, even if it came from horror.
Even if he had been his regular size, he would have thought that the pile was obscenely large. At his tiny size…it was ridiculous. One log lay over the top of the other, the one on the very top teetering as if it was about to roll off at any moment.
I've gotten myself stuck in a very unfortunate situation again, he thought to himself. But how am I going to get out of this one?
_ _
He didn't have a ship and he was stuck out right in the middle of the forest, with not even a communicator to help him. Shouting for help hadn't worked either, so chasing after Wonder Woman was most certainly not going to work either, for it would take him a lot longer to traverse the same terrain.
At least if he didn't stay in that immediate area, he would not have to explain why he was standing there next to a huge pile of poop, even if it would, at the very least, be exceedingly clear that it had not come from him. Not when it was several times larger than he was, obscenely and ridiculously so! The whole situation would have been comical if it had not been so dire, something that no one was ever going to believe happened. That was, of course, if he ever got up the actual courage to tell anyone about the Wonder Woman incident.
He probably wouldn't. Even after all the embarrassment and how strangely her poop just lay there, not even hidden, not buried, just out in the open, he wouldn't have wanted to do anything at all that could have harmed her reputation in the slightest. She did too much good in the world for that.
He would come up with a plan, yes. But Atom would never, ever tell anyone who pooped in the woods that day.

Harley Quinn
_ _
_ _
“Ohhhh, what a pretty morning!"
Harley Quinn, dressed in her usual red and black outfit, form-fitting enough for her to move in, though her blonde pigtails bounced with every step as she made her way across the rooftops of Gotham City. It was early morning, dawn having broken, but well before any civilians had woken up. It was a good time to be up and about, though Harley did lament the fact that there were not enough people around for her to spend time with.
Cops… Joker henchmen… Batty… Oh, anyone would do! A good prank would settle the end of her night just right, yes, indeed!
The rooftops offered her a good view, though she seemed to have made her way down to the sewage treatment plant yet again, a rather remote area. There was quite often something shifty going on there, however, which was perhaps why she found herself down there from time to time, curious to see if any new things had popped up, bringing a spark more life to the city.
Well, she could make as much life and enjoyment there as she liked, frankly. Her eyes lit up, spotting the Batmobile parked up being the treatment plant – there was no other car like that in Gotham City or beyond!
“Ooooohhhh, not so bad!"
She grinned, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Sometimes, Batman headed down into the sewage tunnels to check on Killer Croc, making sure that he hadn't set up a new base down there, though no one had seen Killer Croc in a while. She didn't have any interest in Killer Croc, but even she had seen just how annoying he could be and the activity of his henchmen, or henchcrocs, whatever anyone wanted to call them, had spiked recently too. She'd been avoiding that weirdo.
Grinning widely, Harley withdrew a piece of equipment that she probably (yeah, definitely) not have stolen from Deathstroke's base: some incredibly powerful proprietary thermal goggles. Just what she needed!
Harley Quinn was known for her lightness of heart, but the goggles slid into place easily, perhaps too easily, a flash of white teeth showing as she bounced and played with the settings on the goggles.
“Oooooh, thermal-ly!"
She hummed as she dropped down into the entrance of one of the tunnels, catching a bright red area of heat through the thermal goggles.
“Oooohhh, something there, something there! Let's go see, Pudding!"
Harley Quinn was only talking to herself, but, well, she liked thinking that her sweetie pie, the Joker, was always there with her, praising her every move. There was no one in the whole world who could ever be sweeter than her Pudding, which was exactly why she had given him that nickname!
That heat image though… That had to be the bat! And, boy, oh, boy, was she going to play an epic prank on him!
Harley Quinn, after all, always had the very best of pranks…
Batman
_ _
Underground in the sewage treatment tunnels was far from something that Batman enjoyed doing. It just wasn't for him, not in the slightest, but a messy, dirty part of his job. He wore a mask only over his nose, which at least allowed him to breathe nearly normally and comfortably down there, though there was still a clinging, cloying reek, a chemical stench that spoke of the treatment facility. His suit would need washing afterwards, though it was not him that would have to launder it in special mixtures to make sure that it would still be usable in the future.
The tunnel, however, had been decommissioned and, apparently, was undergoing repairs. He didn't expect to find Killer Croc down there, but the fact that it was quiet there, at that time, meant that he could place his motion-tracking technology down there, planting it in an attempt to track Killer Croc's movements. Though it had not yet become public knowledge, there had been a sharp increase in attacks on cops and civilians alike from Killer Croc, sometimes from his cronies and sometimes from the monster himself. Either way, Batman was going to put a stop to it, but such a sick killer should have been locked up in isolation, not even in the standard fare of Gotham City Asylum.
Killer Croc, after all that he had done, was always looking for his next unsuspecting victim for a meal. And that was what truly sickened him about Killer Croc, even if he was there to complete a task. One that, hopefully, would ensure that Killer Croc's rampage was coming to an end.
“Hm…"
He concentrated, dressed in his sleek, fitted black outfit, a dark cape floating from his shoulders lightly, which kept him warm in the dry yet cool tunnel. The temperature was often the same underground and if there were any changes in the temperature, that was something that he had to pay attention to. It could be that something was afoot.
Batman sighed lightly, installing the motion tracking tech to the side of the tunnel, small enough that, hopefully, Killer Croc would not notice it too. It depended on how much attention he was paying to his surroundings.
The scrape of a manhole cover, above him at street level, caught his attention and Batman froze, stiffening suddenly. He'd chosen that spot to install some of the tracking tech, because of the easy access through that very same manhole cover, but he hadn't expected to have to face down someone coming through it so swiftly either. He had only planned to use the manhole cover to more easily retrieve the data and see if anyone was coming and going through it also, but things were happening a lot more quickly than anticipated.
He pressed a button on his suit, turning off all light on and inside his suit, backing up towards the wall, into the darkness and the shadows, though there were plenty of them down in the dark of the shadow. If he was fortunate, he would not be seen. If he was unfortunate…he would have to find his way back out again, fighting his way through whatever foe came to be.
The early morning light shone through the manhole, opened completely, and he almost held his breath. Perhaps it was just a maintenance worker: that would be a good option, at least for him. If it was, he could just explain that he was there searching for Killer Croc and be on his way, the worker most likely pretty thankful to him for doing his public duty once again.
And yet…no worker came down through the manhole and no ladder came either, no tools or equipment of any kind that could have denoted either. That was strange, very strange. Yet all became clear when an odd but unfortunately very familiar sight came into vision as a bare, white butt stuck out over the edge of the manhole.
Oh, you have got to be kidding me…
_ _
He swore he heard her singing to herself, some kind of circus tune, as large bowel movements started dropping through, squeezed out forcibly from a body that was well used to pooping in weird and wonderful places. Did she know he was there? She had to, surely, but Batman still shrank into the shadows, even if the second bowel movement was coming quickly, the first plopping down with a solid splat to the ground. With the distance between the manhole and the sewer floor, there was plenty of space for it to gain a little velocity and speed, coming down with a louder splat than it otherwise would have.
What the hell was he going to do? He was hardly impressed as a second bowel movement, about the same size as the first, maybe eleven inches, bore out, though Batman was not looking up at her buttocks anymore. He didn't know where to look, not as he was forced to stand there and watch the pile of poop grow larger and larger, right before his eyes.
She was crazy! She just went to the bathroom wherever the hell she pleased, even though there was no matter to it at all, that she could have used a bathroom, like a normal person. The second bowel movement completed with a grunt, dropping on top of the first poop, though the pile swiftly grew. A third and a fourth followed in swift succession and he wished so very much that he did not know, just from the sound of how they splatted down with a slightly wetter edge (not by much though), though each was about ten inches and fourteen inches, thick and long, as if they were trying to be obvious about their presence as logs of poop.
He tried to look away, though he was not worried by anything. Regardless of what was going on in Harley's head, there was no danger there and it was just, in the end, another one of Harley's pranks, though he wished desperately that he was not as accustomed to them as he was. She always seemed to be able to prank him at the most inopportune times, as if she always knew when to be the most inconvenient, always knowing when she could cause the most fuss, regardless of who her target was.
More poops fell, as if they were trying to draw his attention, though he studiously kept taking his eyes away. It was the movement of them pushing out and falling that kept dragging his attention, however unwilling it was, right back to her. That, however, was not the most comfortable of things, not at all, feeling that he would alert her to his presence if he dared do so much as to move.
Maybe I can slink away…
_ _
And yet there seemed to be a layer of grit in the tunnel that he had not before acknowledged, scuffing under his black boots as Batman grunted under his breath. Just how was he meant to get by anything if even shifting like that made such a noise, crunching and scraping as if he was being as loud as he could be? Still, he could not be sure that it was not all deliberate, but Batman still concluded that it would be much better to only think that she didn't know that she was there. He didn't need to give her any attention or encourage her ridiculous pranks any further than she had already taken them.
He couldn't help but glance down at the four bowel movements on the ground already, quickly joined by another that was fourteen inches long. He hated that he could tell just how big it was from that alone, from just a super quick visual check. If he ran, he would disturb the motion tracking tech that he had already implanted into the wall while they were calibrating – and then he would have to do everything again. Even then, the fine frequencies of the one that he had only just set up to drill lightly into the wall, quiet and subtle, could be heard in the tunnel, though he hoped that there was enough stone wall there for Harley to not notice it. She'd probably disable or prank every single one and trip the cameras with her pooping fun, just for…well, fun. For her, it was fun.
He'd never understand why.
Six bowel movements in total plopped down into a messy pile, tipping to the side sloppily, though it did not seem that Harley Quinn was at all trying to be discreet or tidy at all. He'd never understand just what was really going on in her mind, but neither was Batman all that sure that he'd want to.
And the amount of poop that came from her… It was just so much! It was such a big pile, the long poops slightly curved where they lay over one another on the pile, though he, thankfully, couldn't see all that much of the colour in the dim light of the tunnel. Harley blocked most of what would have been coming in through the manhole anyway, with her bottom still hanging through ostentatiously.
He turned away in revulsion, berating himself yet again for looking, for seeing just what she was doing. It was not so much the nudity, it was just the grossness of what she was doing, how she was pooping into a manhole without a single care in the world. He could have dealt with the nudity, but the brazenness of her pooping and relieving her bowels always struck a cord of annoyance within him.
If only Harley wasn't as able to locate him so easily when he was patrolling and trying to do his best for Gotham… Maybe he would not have then come across her in so many weird and horrible situations.
It was just, in the end, turning out to be a part of his job, however, something that Batman had best put up with, considering that she was going to be in Gotham City one way or the other.
The jester finished, pulling up her pants, and he breathed a sigh of relief, still keeping his breath low. He jumped back with a strangled cry, accidentally setting off one of the motion detectors, as Harley's grinning face suddenly appeared through the manhole.
“Hiya, Bats!" She said, as cheerful as she always was. “So sorry… I didn't realise you were down there, skulking about in the sewers! Anyone would have thought that you were up to no good down there!"
He stuttered, clasping at words, though he didn't even have time to feel glad that his face was covered by his mask, hiding the annoying, humiliating blush on his face. But who wasn't going to be embarrassed by something like that?
“Have fun in the smelly sewers, Bat-Turd! I've got places to be!"
“Hey – you!"
Batman shouted back – but Harley was already gone, the metallic grate and grind of the manhole cover sliding back into place dropping him into darkness. The echoes of her maniacal laughter filtered down the sewer tunnel, but she was not really there, gone and lost, though he was sure, unfortunately, that she would be back at another time, all so that she could throw yet another prank at him.
Batman groaned, rolling his eyes and turning from the huge pile of poop that was there. Well, it was not as if he was going to clean it up or touch it or do anything at all to it. If Harley Quinn was going to be disgusting like that, he would just do his best to ignore what was happening and carry on with his life and day. Sometimes, that was the best that he could do, acting as if she had no effect on him whatsoever.
Back to the job, he pretended it had never happened, returning to recalibrating the motion detector that, unfortunately, had been knocked out of sync before. His suit aided him in that, holding his wrist up to it so that the settings could be manually transferred.
Harley Quinn could go bother someone else for a change…

Power Girl, Arisia & Wonder Woman
_ _
_ _
To capture Ra's al Ghul, Power Girl, Arisia and Wonder Woman had teamed up again, though it was becoming a common thread for all three of them to be paired together. Ra's al Ghul was a villain and a rather devious one at that who had gained near immortality through his use of Lazarus Pits to extend his normal human lifespan to over one thousand years – so far, at least. There was no telling just how far he would go in his pursuit of eternal life, though they had seen too much of what he was capable of so far.
The army he had assembled filled a mountain fortress, barred with towering, metal walls and gates, sentry posts scanning the area and further defences still lined up against them. The Justice League had tasked Wonder Woman, specifically, to lead their small team to enter the fortress, remaining undetected, and capture Ra's before he could command his army to attack Gotham. It was a different kind of attack than what Gotham usually faced, but someone with that power did not need a bigger reason behind anything that they did, only the power that they sought to enhance even further.
Power Girl tucked her cape back as she crept along with Wonder Woman, Arisia bringing up the rear. Of course, any fortress had a tunnel system built into it and it was to be expected that the mountain location was perfect for something like that. The tunnels had been manned, of course, but the smaller maintenance tunnel, designed for emergency supply deliveries and repairs to the fortress, was quieter and more cramped. She was forced to bend over completely, glad of the flexibility of her bodysuit outfit that left her thighs exposed above her boots, but it was not the worst position that she had been in with Wonder Woman at least before.
“Oof…"
Arisia grunted as she bumped her head, though there was not enough space even for Power Girl to turn and check if she was okay, having to trust instead that she was fine. They were fortunate that it was opening up a little bit, splitting off into multiple tunnels, and that they had not yet had to dispatch any guards. Those, surely, would be at the other end of the maintenance tunnel, where it opened up into the fortress of Ra's al Ghul.
Wonder Woman was just straightening up a little as the maintenance tunnel grew a little large and more comfortable at a branch of three, the blueprints (that had been supplied to them, luckily) in her hand, when Power Girl leaned in closer, bumping her.
“Hey," she said quietly, though there was no need for discretion like that. “I have to go to the bathroom."
Wonder Woman threw her a questioning look, though the reasoning behind that and why they had to go to the bathroom as much as they did should have already been clear to her.
“You mean…"
She discreetly, for that was Power Girl's prepared way of being, took Power Girl's nod as confirmation that it was “that" kind of situation. The kind where she really did have to go and urgently too, that it could not wait, for it was not just her trying to denote that she needed to urinate, which could more often than not wait. She sighed faintly and nodded back at her. It was something that they all went to and if it didn't happen at a completely awkward time it would not have been a normal kind of day at all.
Arisia perked up, bumping Power Girl as she tried to make herself heard.
“Yes, I need to go also, before we enter the fortress. I will be better able to fight if I can go now."
Most likely Arisia needed to go to the bathroom more urgently than she let on, but it was up to Wonder Woman when they could spare the time for it, considering that she was still very much in charge of all that was going on there. They could stop there or they could press on more quickly, trying to find a better location, but it didn't look as if that was going to be all that easy, not considering where the tunnel was leading.
Hm…
_ _
Wonder Woman had to make a quick decision, poring over the blueprints that she should have already memorised, but wanted to check yet again in case there was something there that she had missed. Arisia tried to peer closer, wanting to make sure that she did get a chance to go to the bathroom, but she should have trusted that Wonder Woman would make sure that all was taken care of.
Arisia's stomach, however, felt tight as if she was constipated, though she did think that she had gone to the bathroom not too long ago. A warmer flush crept down her neck and she pursed her lips in annoyance at the notion of, once again, needing to go to the bathroom in a location that was far, far too public for her liking. It should have been normal to her, going even on the battlefield sometimes, but she still preferred to keep her privacy as much as she possibly could, even though things in that regard were coming off as increasingly difficult to do.
If she was around Wonder Woman and Power Girl, at least, perhaps it could be just a little less embarrassing for her, just more efficient. However, it was simply that she had never caught the flush of embarrassed heat on Power Girl's face before, mistaking her calm demeanour for confidence in matters of the body.
Power Girl nudged Wonder Woman.
“What do you think?" She said. “Is there somewhere we can go? I don't want to go here in the middle of the tunnel, in case we have to come back the same way. I don't remember you saying anything about another maintenance tunnel or anything like that."
“Hm…" Wonder Woman finally said out loud. “There is a small room, I think, coming up soon. Can you wait until then? I will look for it for you so that you can be more comfortable."
She hadn't actively needed to go to the bathroom herself until Power Girl and Arisia had made their needs known, but that was often the way of it, the way that things went when they were trying to press on and forward in a hurry. One needed to go and that in itself set off a whole kind of chain reaction where everyone needed to go, one person after the other. It was easier to just get it all over and done with in the most efficient way possible and, of course, would ensure that they were best prepared to capture their target.
Still, she could ignore the rumbling a little, for it did not seem all that urgent that she relieve her bowels and someone, after all, would need to stand watch over the others while they were doing their business.
When Arisia and Power Girl agreed with her plans, they all moved ahead swiftly, though Wonder Woman grumbled inwardly at the light cramping and shifting in her stomach. That was hardly the most comfortable thing but it also was not something that she could do anything about at that time. She could only try to keep going, step by step, glad that the tunnel had opened up enough that she could stand, the lines of pain in her back from walking crouched over for so long slowly fading.
“Ah, there it is."
She pointed, hiding her relief, the grumbling of her lower stomach harder and harder for her to just ignore. That was annoying, though it would not have been as much of an issue for her if they had not been trapped in the small tunnel, working towards a single exist. A narrow but adequately sized tunnel branched off to the right of the long tunnel that they were in and she nodded towards it, folding up the blueprints again carefully so that there was less risk to them.
“You two go ahead," she said simply, taking her role as leader seriously, as seriously as she always did. “I will stand guard, here, while you take care of your business."
Power Girl stepped down the corridor, dubiously looking into the room, with a wooden door at the entrance.
“You weren't kidding about it being small," she said, not sounding all that convinced. “There's only enough room for one of us at a time. It's even smaller than that tunnel we started out in."
Wonder Woman shrugged. Arisia couldn't read her expression, though she should have known that there was more going on than she could see, for Wonder Woman was quite often the sort to be strong and noble, always looking out for others around her. She had never seemed embarrassed about bowel movements before, so Arisia shrugged it off. Maybe she was imagining the strange flash of discomfort on her face.
Power Girl, however, still needed to go. The room had an electrical box on it, though she stepped back out, shaking her head.
“You go ahead, Arisia," she said, smiling at the other superhero. “I don't want to keep you waiting. But let us be swift so that we can continue with our mission as soon as possible."
Arisia nodded. She didn't mind going first at all, for that meant that she could get her needs dealt with more quickly. That there was a door helped too, even if it did not seem to latch behind her when she entered the small room that Power Girl had already scouted out for her. She pressed down on her lower stomach with a groan, her other hand rubbing the back of her neck.
Ugh… It seemed like she was a bit constipated after all. It was so hard to make sure that she went to the bathroom frequently enough when she was on a mission, it just wasn't something that crossed her mind, something that she didn't think about. And, when the urge was not present, she simply forgot. For them, it resulted in constipation that ended up hard to clear, especially when they kept eating a larger amount of food to fuel their powers.
But it was still the way of it and that was something that Arisia was slowly accepting, even though she really did wish that the door latched behind her. There was no light in there so she conjured her own, green flickering and dancing before her, more than enough for her to see by. It helped a little that she was smaller and shorter than Power Girl, so fit in the tiny room more easily.
Small wins, I guess…
_ _
She couldn't dwell on that, however, not as she tugged her outfit aside, a white bodysuit that cut off across the tops of her thighs, her boots long and high to protect her legs while affording her easy flexibility. That was more important than anything else when she was out on a mission, after all, her short, blonde hair settled around her head, though there was a clammy sense of humidity in the room that struck her skin.
Her outfit didn't need to be removed, which was something to be thankful for, at least, bearing down as she let her body do all that it needed to do. She didn't have to concentrate too much while pushing down, her muscles working at pushing out the first bowel movement.
“Oof…"
Arisia twisted, a little uncomfortable. It just wasn't the most pleasant sensation still and she tried to think about something else, anything else, as she eased the first log of poop from her body. It felt hard and she had to push harder too than she had expected, considering the need that had abruptly struck her in the tunnel. She would have to take much better care of her health going forward, in that regard, though she was picking up some better habits from Wonder Woman, sneaking looks at her after she was done with her business. Arisia did not typically check her bowel movements for health afterwards, but, well, they were slowly having more and more of an influence on her. She wasn't sure still whether that was a good thing or not.
The first poop squeezed out, longer than usual, though it did not feel thicker, which was a relief. She could push that out, not making a sound, as she was aware that the door was still open. When was the last time that she had had any real privacy for pooping? Even Arisia did not know quite how to answer that question…
She sighed, squatting down a little lower, despite the ache in her thighs. The journey through the tunnels had been harder on her physically than expected, but all would come better in the end. The first poop dropped down quietly, not really making any noise at all, for she had hung her buttocks down close to the ground, all to make sure that she would be as quiet as possible, which was all that Arisia wanted.
That first bowel movement was seventeen inches long, firm and hard with a good amount of crackling down the length of the poop, though it lay on the ground in a soft curve under her buttocks. The smooth lines of it were in testament to how quickly she had pushed it out, though, ideally, Arisia would have taken a little more time for her comfort, for the light cramping in her lower abdomen was growing more intense.
She still wondered why Wonder Woman didn't want to use the room too, though she would be embarrassed enough by the fact that Power Girl would be using it second with her pile of poop in there already. Oh hell! That wasn't even something that had crossed her mind before and she grunted as she pushed out an eighteen-inch length of poop. The log of waste squeezed out softly, harder to push when it was softer, but that could have been the distraction of her mind. The cold floor greeted it as she pushed it all the way out, plopping down to land neatly over the top of the other one, at a slight angle.
Arisia tried to hold her breath, though that didn't help her work out the third more quickly. The second bowel movement had been a lighter shade than she had expected, but she didn't honestly know enough about her bodily health to be able to tell whether that was a good thing or a bad thing. Just that she needed to take better care of herself still. And yet she still knew that things were not always that easy as she squeezed out the third, tipping forward a little and resting her right hand lightly on the wall for balance.
That one broke in the middle as she was forced to take a break, not quite able to force out the entire poop in one go. It was a good thing that it was only moderately firm, soft enough that it could be broken into two parts by the muscle of her sphincter, though she worked hard to get it all out as she wanted. That poop, if whole, would have been nineteen inches long and she groaned. It was the largest yet and her rumbling, bubbling stomach didn't feel satisfied at all, not as if she had eased anything at all within her body.
“Come on…"
She breathed out the words, urging her body to take care of its business, but she managed to get the fourth poop out without too much concern. Of course, that had to be the largest yet, as the final one, as if her body was playing one last prank on her, something that, even then, could not be set aside. She grumbled faintly, trying to make light of it even for herself, and quickly cleaned and dressed herself smartly again the very moment that the fourth and final poop landed on top of her admittedly neat pile.
But it was not a small pile, no, not at all, Arisia exhaling and holding back a curse at the sheer size of it. Oh, how she wished that was not the case, but she would get used to the efficiency of it eventually, doing things quickly and neatly, all so that she could get on with whatever mission she was on and her life too. The pile consisted of four poops, one log broken in the middle though it would have looked whole to the eye that didn't know quite what they were looking at or didn't want to check it out in any detail. She didn't usually produce poops that large, even when she was constipated, though Arisia knew that there was nothing she could do about it, not even in hindsight.
She left the room, trying to close the door after her, but, well, there was nothing really to hide.
“Hey…" She said quietly, offering Power Girl a sheepish grin. “Um… Yes, I'm done, thank you for letting me go first."
Ugh, she didn't want to think about Power Girl having to share that tiny room, squatting over a pile of another superhero's waste, though it did help, just a little, when Power Girl offered her a reassuring smile.
“Don't worry," Power Girl said quickly, moving past Arisia as if it was all the most normal thing in the world. “It's okay. There's really nothing to be embarrassed about here, we all have to do it."
Arisia sighed and nodded, but, truthfully, she was not fully convinced, not even then. But it was still something that she had to do and Power Girl would do her business in there too, just the same.
Power Girl slipped inside the small room, though it was quite a tight fit for her and, frankly, she didn't know how on earth she was going to squat at her height. It had been a while since such tight confines had been an issue for her, though that could have been because she usually tried to keep a little more space around her, which was more than fair enough.
Of course, moving carefully around Arisia's poop, she could not help but see it.
Whoa…
_ _
Power Girl raised her eyebrows. That was rather a lot, though she had not paid special attention to Arisia's poop before. She'd never noticed it being larger than hers either, which was the weird bit about that, even if she should not have honestly been looking. It was just hard not to look and, despite the annoying heat in her cheeks, Power Girl did her best to shrug it all off and carry on with what she had to do.
Turning around in the tight confines, she chose to face the door so that she could keep an eye on the crack of light showing through, green from Arisia's powers. It was nice of her to keep the light on, though Power Girl did have a small worry about the light giving away their position. If they were caught due to a light, however, she guessed that their mere presence would have been caught anyway.
She had to take the opposite side to Arisia, which only meant that she was sort of facing Arisia's poop, her foot uncomfortably close to it. Power Girl groaned, pulling her outfit to the side much the same as Arisia had, only exposing just enough of her buttocks so that she could go to the bathroom comfortably, easily, without revealing too much of herself. She didn't want to get any on her clothes, most certainly.
That meant that she had to take great care, even though her bowel movements came more easily than Arisia's had – not that Power Girl had any idea about that. She'd just been waiting, patiently, for Arisia to finish, having suspected from the twitch of her hips and the way that Arisia had seemed a little more unsure than usual that she was in some level of discomfort. Wonder Woman was not to be seen outside the door with Arisia, though she should have been at the end of the corridor, though there was no sense of unease there.
Wonder Woman was fine. She had been watching and she was confident that Wonder Woman was not far away, though Power Girl would not have called it a sixth sense, not like people often did.
Her attention was taken up by pushing out her first poop, the softness of it making it easy for her to drop it to the floor. She did check her waste, following a quick little habit that she had picked up from Wonder Woman, though Power Girl was trying different tactics to make it more efficient, wherever she could.
That first bowel movement was not too thick, about twelve inches long. Not too bad, but she was already working on the next, pushing down and thinking ahead to the next. The second was firmer, the pressure of her muscles around it making her lower stomach and digestive system gurgle, though that was a natural reaction, just a little thing that reminded her that she was doing exactly what her body needed her to do.
The second poop dropped down, followed by a few hard rounds that were compressed and compacted. They were small enough, roughly the size of a large coin, that they didn't cause her any problems when they dropped down, though the second log proved to be smaller than the first at ten inches long, even if it was thicker around and harder, the firmness of the outside evident even to her eyes in the dimness of that small room.
Again, she pressed down and pooped the third and fourth in quick succession, though both seemed to be around thirteen inches, landing on top of one another, her body working swiftly. That was good, relieving the need in her stomach a little more, making her just a little more comfortable. Power Girl puffed out her cheeks with air, fighting back the urge to do a little jig, checking them quickly as they lay on the top of the pile, still warm from the heat of being inside her body only a few moments ago.
But that was all okay, allowing her to bear down. There were more still to come and, unlike Arisia, she seemed to be producing more smaller poops that day, even though they were a lot larger than anything that most people in the world produced. Perhaps that was why her using normal toilets was not the best idea either…
Pushing out the next easily, the fifth poop was smooth and seamless as if it was perfectly unmarred, though she was not so far gone in checking her poop to be proud of it. She appreciated the ease, however, as her stomach settled down, though she was not done yet. That poop rolled to the side of the others, for she must have twitched and shifted her hips at just the wrong moment, making it so that the poop had not been able to rest there, in place, on top of the pile.
It sure was going to be strange for whoever uncovered their poop in there much later though…
Power Girl put that from her mind as she worked on her last two poops, though the last was a surprise. She could feel that there was still something in her bowels to be moved, but it was not so easy to do so, bearing down and working out the last bits. Of course, they were a lot more sizeable than she gave them credit for in her mind, but, well, there wasn't any other way for them to go besides out of her.
So, she squeezed, pressing down and easing out the first, harder one. It worked its way out slowly as if every second was being dragged out more and more as Power Girl grunted, wishing that it would hurry up already. She would feel much better very soon, she was sure of it, but that didn't actually do anything at all to make anything with the process itself any easier.
She shook her head slowly, even as she concentrated, squeezing out more and more and more until a whopping fourteen-inch bowel movement lay on the floor, balanced precariously on the top of the pile. That made six so far, in total, and she exhaled a very much-needed sigh of relief as, finally, she worked out the final one, feeling done.
The seventh was softer and a lighter shade of brown than the others, though Power Girl did not even have it in her to wonder if that was good or not, tired from the exertion of going to the bathroom, even though it should never have been all that bad of a physical activity. It was just made so much more awkward and difficult due to the very nature of the tight confines and she breathed softly and more evenly as soon as that last, final, bowel movement was on top of the pile. It was not quite as neat of a pile as the one that Arisia had made, but, well, there was most certainly no one judging Power Girl on that.
She re-dressed, checking the pile over one final time. It was good, everything looked as healthy as it usually did, though it wasn't as if she was looking into the tiny details of everything. That time, after all, they were in quite a rush to get on with their mission and the lighting in there, to be fair too, was not all that great.
Huffing out a breath that came out a lot better than before, she made sure that every bit of her outfit was in place before manoeuvring herself out of the door again. Power Girl tried to close it quickly again after herself, but, frankly, there was not much of a reason to hide what she had been doing in there, for everyone knew already.
Wonder Woman had reappeared by that time and Power Girl headed for her, even as Wonder Woman ushered both her and Arisia back down the tunnel that they had been progressing through to start with.
“Is everyone ready to go?"
Arisia and Power Girl nodded, though Power Girl almost felt that Wonder Woman was almost not giving them much of a choice in the matter, not that time.
“Yes, of course."
But what none of them noticed, as they left, was the pile of poop that another superhero, just looking to be as efficient as possible, had left behind them, around the corner of the tunnel. Wonder Woman had no shame in it, as was right for her, though no one would ever know just what had happened there, that she had also gone to the bathroom and made sure that she was well-prepared for the conflict ahead.
But no one had to know, even if they had all had to go.

Superwoman & Circe
_ _
_ _
Superwoman crouched in the magical realm, though she was not sure that she trusted it at all, even when she was with Circe, who was even less trustworthy. The witch had transported them both to a secret magical realm with tall, dry patches of grass and looming dead trees with branches like the fingers of a skeleton, dried up and curling towards a sky that held no sustenance for them. She screwed up her face, glancing down at the white, sand-like ground, which didn't seem like something at all that any life would have come from anyway.
“Is this really going to be enough to hide from the Justice League?" She said, straightening and brushing off her outfit, the black one that she usually wore, as distinctive as it was. “There does not seem to be all that much cover here, Circe…"
The witch, even though she did not appear to trust Superwoman either, was half shrugging, her eyes already far away, as if she was already thinking and focusing on their next move.
“There will be plenty here," she said. “They only do not have to find the realm and I am the only one that knows that this realm exists. You don't have to trust me, but this realm is the safest place that we could be from the Justice League."
Together, they set up a small camp with a single tent, though it was far from any kind of accommodation that Superwoman would have chosen for herself. Not being on the side of the Justice League had thwarted her ability to take comfort for herself on too many occasions, but it seemed that she didn't have much of a choice in that matter. Her lips pursed. Not while they were on the run.
That night was cold, in the desert, though Superwoman made no complaint, sleeping in her clothes for the additional warmth, even though she knew that a part of her would regret that in the morning. The makeshift sleeping bag had been a blanket at one point, sort of, but had been stitched up haphazardly. Neither of them had wanted to spend much time on it, as long as the cold could not get in through the new seam.
The chill of the morning was not all that much better, but, as it was a magical realm, it did not completely drop into the negative digits, which was a relief for Superwoman. It was not as if she wanted to deal with that in the slightest, the bitterness of the night that could be seen in a desert on Earth or other planets that she based herself on from time to time. Still, she would have appreciated if things were just a little bit warmer.
Still, she had to get up, stretch, adjusting her clothes back into place, though nothing quite felt like it was in the right position after sleeping in it. That didn't matter, however, because she could just adjust things after going to the bathroom. With her powers, she still had to use the facilities more often and just because they were out in the desert did not mean that she didn't have to relieve her body too.
It was annoying, however, to have those needs coming to the forefront of her mind, visiting the small patch of trees near their camp for a little shelter. She squatted to urinate quickly, rolling her skin-tight black leggings down to expose only as much as was needed.
That was enough, but she brooded, thinking over everything that she had to do. The Justice League wouldn't just give up on them because they weren't somewhere easy for them to find, oh no. It wasn't that easy to simply disappear, not where so many then could shift between realities and planes of existence.
Still, they had to keep going with normal life, in a way. She knelt by the fire, helping Circe cook dinner, though Circe surprised her by excusing herself.
Hm, I wonder where she is going?
_ _
Superwoman checked, suspiciously, out of the corner of her eye, but she didn't need to use any of her powers to see Circe head off to the patch of trees and return again. She must have been using it as a toilet, just the same as Superwoman was, though she still didn't quite understand why Circe had to excuse herself again, supposedly for the same reason, when they were finally eating dinner with the sun disappearing below the horizon.
She seems to be disappearing rather a lot more than I would expect…
_ _
But Superwoman did not ask, merely observing, checking out what was happening and keeping an eye on everything. She had to keep a wary eye, though she had thought that Circe was on her side. With her being that quiet and suspicious, Superwoman didn't want to take her eyes off her, though, otherwise, Circe seemed to be her normal self.
The next morning, Superwoman woke suddenly after Circe got back in her sleeping bag. Come to think of it, Circe getting back into the tent had been what had woken her the morning before. That morning, however, she had to set aside things to go to the bathroom – and that time not just to urinate, though that was perfectly normal for her. It was more annoying still for her, but she headed out to the trees with her head held high, feeling more comfortable now that her outfit was clean again, though that had taken a rather interesting use of powers.
Crouching down, she was forced to roll her tight trousers down again, though she appreciated the level of flexibility that they afforded her. She had to consider her modesty, but could at least rest assured that Circe was back in the tent and, that time, she wasn't going to be come upon when she was doing her business.
She squatted a bit lower, bristling at the chill of the morning pulling at the bare skin of her thighs. That wasn't the most comfortable thing, to be fair, though she concentrated on pushing out her bowel movements, trying not to think too much about what she was doing. It wasn't a pleasant task, not by a long shot, but she had to try to get it all done nice and quickly so that she didn't have to worry about any of it until the next time she had to poop.
It was, after all, something that both everyone did and something that was necessary.
The first came out hard, though that was understandable, even though it was annoying. She relaxed a bit more, despite the grumbling in her lower stomach denoting her mild constipation, though Superwoman was just relieved to be out in the morning and to finally be relieving her bowels. Despite the exposure, it was better that way, knowing that she would be more comfortable and then, hopefully, able to go to the bathroom more frequently, now that there was a designated spot for her to go when she needed to.
The first dropped, breaking the dam for the rest, the first poop long and thick with a darker shade to the surface and rough crackling along the length, as if it had more of a texture to it than the poops that her body normally produced. Not that she would be running her fingers along them at all, ugh… No, she'd check them for health, but that was most certainly as far as Superwoman would go.
The second was still hard and she grunted faintly, not thinking too much. The morning sunshine was brighter there, almost as if it was winter, the sun low in the sky, but she didn't think that that realm had any seasons, not like that. It was just the same, moving through different weather patterns, though, honestly, Superwoman had not thought to ask Circe about that.
The second poop dropped with a sense of relief, working on the third. She glanced back, humming lowly under her breath, checking the shade, which was a little darker again and thirteen inches long. That wasn't too bad, enough that she could poop it out without too much trouble, working on the next. She was glad, at least that time, that she was more comfortable in the fresh morning air, not having to deal with anything except where she was, exactly the way things were. Nothing else at all had to be worried about as she ignored the ache in her thighs and glutes from holding the position.
Another poop dropped, though Superwoman blinked and had to check it immediately, for that felt as if it had been too easy. It had been softer at fifteen inches, but it seemed to be that the fourth was going to be more difficult.
She had to bear down and really focus for that one, working it out slowly, though it was a much thicker and harder bowel movement than the ones that had gone before. It did not prove to be as long as the others, but that did not make it any easier to poop out, grunting softly as she did all she could to work it all out of her body, bit by bit.
Letting out the softest of groans, she finally managed to excrete every inch of it, the poop rolling off her pile due to its thickness, though that only mattered when it came to her health. Superwoman exhaled softly, glad that that one was done with, but reminding herself, once again, that she would have to take a little better care of herself. How she would ensure, however, that she did not grow constipated again when they had limited food choices was another question entirely…
She'd concern herself with that later. The thick bowel movement rested beside the others at eleven inches long, rounded at the base as if her body had had a hard time squeezing it out. It was not that bad, but the last two were coming more quickly and Superwoman took a breath, steadying herself.
Almost done…
_ _
As much as she enjoyed the peace and quiet of the morning, she was still very aware of the fact that she had to get on with things in the day too, plans. They couldn't hide out there forever.
She exhaled softly, blinking slowly, taking the calm of the moment exactly as it need to be, pushing out a sixth bowel movement. It landed carefully on top of the pile, as if she was making a concentrated effort to be neat, though she was not. It was not her problem what happened to her waste when she was done with it, after all, and it seemed like the perfect place to poop, even after designating it as her urination place, the spot where she would relieve that part of her body. That bowel movement was sizeable but not too challenging with a bit of give to the surface, a lighter shade that seemed fainter in the morning sun as she glanced back to check.
The last and final one rested at a whopping sixteen inches long, but was thin enough for her to not have all that much trouble in pushing it out. Still, there was a width to its thickness that had to be respected too and she bore down, working it out more and more, knowing that the sense of relief was soon to be had. Her stomach ached faintly, reminding her of what was needed, and she smiled as, finally, that last fifteen-inch bowel movement landed on top of the pile.
There… All done.
_ _
Regardless of everything, there was still a sense of satisfaction to it. She paused briefly to check the health of her bowel movements, everything more or less the same shade and colour, though the difference in the consistency of the texture and hardness was something that she was going to have to take note, of one way or the other. If she did not, her body was going to force her to take care of her health a little later, regardless of anything else or what the Justice League was or was not doing.
Getting on with her day, she rested at the fire around midday when she realised that the firewood was almost out. She sighed and would have rolled her eyes if she would not have considered it beneath her to allow such an expression onto her face. What she did when she wasn't thinking, however, was beside the point.
Regardless, it was not enough wood at all to keep the fire going as she stood and brushed off her outfit, making sure that all was in place. The patch of dead trees that she had been using as a bathroom would do more than good enough for her, taking the easiest wood that was in her reach so that she could keep the fire going. Perhaps they would soon travel further afield, into another realm, and more firewood would be easily accessible there.
Her fingers did not reach all the way around the trunk of the tree that she grabbed, though she was still easily able to yank and wrench it up out of the ground, twisted, gnarled roots grabbing as if they were trying to retain some manner of a hold onto the ground. Yet they came out easily, regardless, Superwoman's strength flowing through her without her even needing to think about it.
However, it was not the tree that was the focus of Superwoman's attention as she set it aside, surprised to find just what lay behind the tree. She had never gone around behind it, for she just hadn't had any real reason to, but the tree revealed that Circe had also been using that little copse of dead trees as somewhere to relieve herself.
For it had to be Circe's poops that lay on the ground right there before her – four extremely large piles, even bigger than what Superwoman had produced.
“Oh!"
She was rarely startled, but there was only so much that she could do about it as she curiously inspected it, though she thought that she should really have been giving Circe some more privacy. Yet there was no one there but her and no one to stop her from indulging, even if it was rather a kind of morbid curiosity.
“Huh…"
She shook her head. The piles were comically large, though the strangest of them was one large bowel movement that was coiled around and around itself like a sausage, though that was a comparison that Superwoman did not at all appreciate popping into her mind at that time. It was quite like a cartoon pile of poop with a little curl at the tip where the end of the poop spiral poked up and out. To say the least of it, it was nothing like anything she would produce, though the colour and consistency looked to be about the same.
The second, however… That was just as strange, two together, that both looked like long sausages in casings, as if they had been squeezed tight by that casing and were just about to pop free at any moment. Strangely enough, they were in a line, end to end, one on the left and one on the right. She couldn't judge the length of the first, though it had to be ridiculously long to curl around and around itself just like that, but those two together were sixteen inches, perhaps the one on the right seventeen inches. Superwoman was not about to go find a ruler to get an accurate measurement of something like that. Checking her own bowel movements, carefully and quietly for health reasons, had given her quite a good eye for things like that, even if it was not something that she would ever brag about.
She was even less sure what to make of the third pile: a pile of six very large and very thick logs. That in itself was not all that unusual, but the difference there was that they were so close in size, as if it had been planned. When the other piles were so different from the typical log-like bowel movements that Superwoman would have expected, to see a normal pile, even if there was rather a lot of it, those were all roughly eight or nine inches long, nothing bigger. Even the thickness of them seemed to be about the same, perfectly normal and moderate, bizarrely standing out from the rest.
And yet…the pile was too neat. It was not a pile, per se, but a stacking. It looked as if someone had put them there, though Superwoman was quite confident that no one would have stacked anything like that, like a wall. The wall was six logs high, all perfectly balanced, though it was how they were positioned that let her see just how they were ever so slightly different lengths, yet all too similar. It was wrong, so very unnatural, though maybe that was something to be expected from a magic user, which was not something that Superwoman was familiar with.
Her cheeks heated up, though Superwoman was surprised at herself, the embarrassment at finding another woman's poop overcoming her. Still, she did not look away, not even then. She still had to see, had to try to work out, even if it was not something that she could get any kind of answer to, just why Circe had been like that. For it was not as if the poop could have belonged to anyone else.
Ignoring the little, squirming churn of her stomach, however, took a little more willpower than Superwoman had been reckoning on.
The fourth and final bowel movement pile, well… It was different again. It was a single, round, twenty-two-inch pillar of poop that struck her as something as strange as the wall, though it was very nearly as thick as her arm with a point at the very end like a pencil. It stuck up straight out from the ground as if it had been deliberately placed there, towering, though it did not teeter at all and was quite firm. It was almost like a monument of some kind, or as if it was a literal pillar that should have been propping something else up. Around the circumference of it, the weird log of poop standing upright could have easily balanced a table. There would just, ideally, have needed to be four more of them.
“Huh…"
She rubbed the back of her neck, stepping back towards the tree. Well, that was all very weird and, frankly, there was not all that much that would ever have Superwoman quite so perplexed. Maybe it was Circe's magic that made her poop look so different, like it wasn't normal poop at all? But why would magic even stack poop like that? It didn't make sense, but, honestly, it wasn't for Superwoman, even then, to make sense of it.
Superwoman shrugged, taking the tree with her to bring back to camp, carrying it as easily as if it was nothing more than just a twig. She wasn't about to raise something like that with Circe at all, considering it too embarrassing, under normal circumstances or stranger ones to bring up. Everyone had their secrets, their little things. Even when it came to poop.
She put it from her mind at the fire, breaking the wood into smaller pieces with her bare hands. Even though Superwoman felt the impression of the bark scraping her palms and rubbing against her fingers, it was no more than that, even though it should have cut her and bruised her, especially with the force that she was putting on it. Sometimes the little things like that were just some of the benefits to being a woman just like she was, Superwoman.
It was soothing to have a task to focus on too, stacking the broken-up pieces of wood, which were far more usable at that size, into a large pile. Finally, in the late afternoon, Circe returned from hunting with her kill levitated behind her, though the shape of the bull's horns and the tongue lolling from the creature's face instantly turned her stomach.
“What…is that?"
Circe smiled faintly, standing tall as she dumped her charge on the ground.
“I was able to capture and kill a large creature from this realm," she said simply, as if it was something that Superwoman should have already known. “It is something like a minotaur, but the flesh will be beef-like and sustain us for quite some time."
Superwoman said nothing. It didn't look appetising at all, what with the hair on its lower half, though that still revealed the red skin, speckled with white. It was bull-like, yes, but it didn't look like a humanoid shape or a quadruped shape, not like anything she had seen before. And she had been on plenty of planets and traversed too many realms.
She would not say that it did not look right, however, for it was food and it would have to sustain them, one way or the other. She tried not to look too closely as Circe, methodically, began preparing the minotaur-like beast for feasting, unsure whether that would set her stomach turning over even more than it had already.
Luckily for her, Circe could use her magic to make the process as easy as possible, even if there was very little that could be thought to be easy in that regard. Circe broke its horns off with a rip and a snap and Superwoman shook her head. Of course, Circe was not paying any attention to her, for there was no reason for her to do so. She was too busy, too engaged in the task at hand, to honestly mind anything else.
Maybe someday, however, Superwoman would find the nerve to ask her about the very weird situation that she had found around the trees. The very strange piles of poop that she had found, though she didn't know what to make of it all, had not been normal, though Circe surely had answers about her own body. Yet that day was not that present day, the day where she would have the courage to ask Circe about everything she had found.
One day, perhaps.
But not that day.
