The part of the backlog that starts gettin' real good in terms of quality. At least, to me. Also, still have some backlog to go which is good since I'm workin' on a couple of secret commissions.

A figure in a hoodie walked by herself through the cool city streets. Snow was starting to fall and Kale seriously began to regret her decision to wear as little as humanly possible in the winter weather, especially in this form. With a huff of breath that trailed behind her as mist, she hurried onto the sidewalk and turned into a winding series of alleyways. At the end of her little trek, she found exactly where she wanted to be. Down a few steps, she stopped just before a door with a flickering light over it and pulled some keys from her pocket. With a small smile, she popped open the door and stepped through and shut it behind her gingerly. In the darkness behind the door, she stripped from her clothing and set them into a neat pile next to her. With a groan and a stretch, her body shifted and grew until she had changed into a chocolate furred werewolf with deep amber eyes. Shrugging her shoulders, she sighed happily and reached to flick the lights on. Rows of bookcases were illuminated and Kale could not help but beam. Her pride and joy were right here before her. This bookstore full of the occult and arcane had been built from the ground up for folk like herself and for humans too who knew about this world. She stepped around to the front counter while feeling over each bookcase with a swell of pride. So much information to be bought and traded and it had all been collected by her. Normally, she rarely received any customers directly at her store, but that didn't matter so much. The peace and quiet were nice and she had plenty of folk ordering over the phone. The peace of having so few people come in meant that she could have time to herself to read for herself, of course, there was one little issue with her paradise. She had one obstruction to her peace at night, and that said obstruction was her only employee. As if summoned, she heard a banging at her door before it was flung open, hear ears folding back as her precious employee stepped in with a wave of the hand.

"Hey, there big fluff! How's the evening going?"

Kale rolled her eyes and addressed her employee sternly, "Casey, I told you not to fling the door like that. In fact, I've told you that plenty of times, so, I'll have you know the evening was going fine until you did that."

Casey only giggled. Today, as usual, her employee was wearing something unprofessional, not that she had a dress code. Casey wore a short black skirt with black leggings and a black sweater. She soon snapped off that sweater revealing a black long sleeve underneath. Casey stretched and yawned as she stepped in, her pixie cut bobbing about as she made her way into the store to feel over the shelves, "So, what do you have for me to do tonight? Think we got a new box of books on big ol' beasties right?"

Kale nodded, "Yes. We'll unpack those another time though. No reason to do it while all the shelves are full. Speaking of which, did you return the book you borrowed on magic?"

Casey winced and retreated behind a few shelves, "Ah, hold up, think I see a few things out of place."

"Casey! Wait! That book is very rare and I'd--" There she was gone. Gone behind the bookshelves and out of sight.

Kale rolled her eyes. She needed to get that book back from Casey, or at the very least make sure the damnable thing was okay. Many times at night and day she wondered why the hell she even hired Casey. She was troublesome, always shirking her duties, loud as hell and always trying to start unnecessary conversation, but at the same time, maybe that was exactly why she kept her around. Casey was the opposite in terms of personality in almost every way and somehow that felt nice. Kale might complain and groan and growl, but the truth was, it was nice to have Casey along for these lonely nights. She bemoaned to say, but Casey was her only friend in the city, well, friend was an extremely loose term, but it was true enough. Casey called her often even during the day, and though she pretended otherwise, she enjoyed the attention.

Speaking of attention, Casey was oddly quiet and usually that meant trouble. With an ear perked up she looked to the shelves Casey had disappeared into, "Casey?"

Casey didn't answer, which was more than a little concerning. Casey was loud, was vocal and was always glad to answer. Kale felt the fur on the back of her neck stand and she moved around the counter to call again, "Casey are you okay?"

Kale held her ears up and swore she heard a sniffling from around the bookcases. Hearing that sniffling only gave her cause to be further concerned, "Casey?"

Casey's voice came out, "I'm here! I'm here. Just uh, fine nothing wrong."

Kale didn't believe that for a moment. Kale heard the small shaking in that voice and frowned as she began to move around the bookcases. When she found Casey, she was on her knees and batting something from her eyes with the sleeves of her shirt. Kale blinked and stepped lightly and brought a paw up to grab at her shoulder gently, "Casey? Are you crying?"

Casey yelped and turned her head. Her cheeks were stained wet with tears and when she saw Kale she sniffed once and cleared her throat, her voice shaky, "N-no. Just, allergies. These books are really dusty boss. You should clean them a bit more."

Kale frowned and tilted her head, "Casey...You've worked here for about a year without this happening. What's really going on?"

Casey sighed and closed her eyes, "I ruined your book. I was reading through it...And I spilled coffee. I fuck up so many times, you're gonna fire me especially for this one since that book was so rare."

Kale cleared her throat. She stifled a yell, stifled an insult, stifled her anger and instead leaned down and spoke with a soft voice, "N-no...I mean...It is a dire mistake, but I wouldn't fire you..."

Casey sniffled, "But you yell at me so much whenever I futz up and this time I really messed up. You're always talking about how I need to be more careful, more responsible and you always call me loud...I'm nothing but a bother, I don't even know why you keep me around."

Kale felt a pang in her heart at that. Now she felt bad for barking so often. Kneeling, she gave the other's body a soft squeeze and sighed, "I'm sorry Casey...I don't mean to be so rude. You're a treasure to have here. You're always so full of life and even if I complain I cherish having you here. Don't cry...I'll just take the book out of your pay."

Casey leaned in close and sighed, "Really?"

Kale nodded, "You'll be working free for a month."

Casey squeaked, "Wait, really?!"

Kale chuckled and squeezed the other's body, "No...I wouldn't do that. Casey, listen. I might act mean, but I'm thankful to have you around. You're loud, annoying and you break my peace, but I actually like it. Now, why don't you tell me what happened to the book? It might not be that bad."

Casey sighed, "I spilled coffee like I said, but...It was on one page only and it didn't stain past the pages."

Kale snorted, "You should have just shown me the book. It probably isn't even that bad."

Casey blinked, "Really? You think it'll still be all right?"

Kale nodded, "Yeah, if you want we can take a break and head over to your apartment to see how it looks."

Casey smiled, "Really? You won't be mad with one page stained?"

Kale smiled, "I promise."

Kale nearly lost her breath as Casey wrapped her arms tight around her shoulders and squeezed. It felt a bit awkward, but she patted Casey's back and couldn't help but chuckle. She was glad to have Casey being happy even if she was worried about how bad the book was damaged.

Casey squeezed one last time before letting go and getting up, "All right! Let's go then! We can lock up and come right back!"

Kale watched as Casey moved to pick up her clothing and toss it at her. Kale rolled her eyes and caught her clothes before shifting to her human form. Casey watched with a big smile. It felt awkward to have Casey just watch her while she changed as a human, but at the same time, she was technically always naked as a werewolf in the shop. Once she was fully clothed, they headed back out into the cool night to head to her room.

Casey's apartment was a simple place, simple and messy as hell. There were clothes strewn about on the couch and the kitchen bar mix nearby had cups all over. Kale walked in while wincing. She wasn't a fan of messy places, in fact, she herself was a bit of a neat freak.

"Sorry about the mess boss, didn't think I'd have guests anytime soon hah!"

Kale sighed, "That is fine...Next time I expect this place to be clean though."

Casey giggled, "Let me get the book."

One the couch, Casey cleared a few pants off of it and pulled the book free. Casey frowned and averted Kale's gaze as she offered up the book. Kale took the book gingerly and began flipping through the pages carefully. With a small smile, she found the mark and it was indeed not as bad as she thought, "Really...Casey, it's just a little stain on the top of the page. No text is covered."

Casey looked up, "Really? So you're not mad?"

Kale chuckled, "Not at all."

Casey sighed with hand on heart, "Thank goodness. I thought you'd be so upset with me, though, I'm wondering, why aren't you changing in here? We're in private right, you can be big and fluffy now."

Kale raised a brow, "I figured you'd prefer me to be a normal human. Not...A beast."

Casey giggled, "Are you kidding? I prefer that big fluffy form of yours."

Kale's cheeks flushed red, "Excuse me?"

Casey smiled, "I love your werewolf form. It is big, fluffy and I gotta admit, the claws are pretty hot. I mean, the whole reason I work for you is because I love the weird and cool monsters that hide in the city."

Kale snorted, "Weird huh?"

Casey grabbed onto Kale's cheeks and gave her nose a soft kiss, "Oh shush, You're not weird. I just meant cool."

Kale felt her cheeks burning at this point and she had to look away, "I uh, well, I shouldn't really transform. We have to leave after all."

Casey smiled, "Well, we could just skip work tonight and hang out...Watch a movie...Maybe call in some late night Chinese food or something."

Kale grunted, "Are you...Are you asking me out on a date?"

Casey blinked, "Do you think I was asking you out on a date?"

Kale stuttered, "N-no! That would be inappropriate. I'm your boss after all."

Casey giggled, "Well, I guess I'm inappropriate because I was asking you out on a date."

Kale froze in place and looked away. She scratched at her chin and then the back of her head before stepping back to strip. She shifted to her werewolf form and shivered, "I...I guess I can skip work and stay here for a bit. It might be fun."

Casey sighed happily, "And here I thought you hated me."

Kale growled, "No...You're just loud, annoying and you get on my nerves sometimes...But you're fun to be around."

Casey leaped to give Kale's werewolf form a squeeze, lips giving Kale's cheek a soft kiss, "Really? I'm happy you think that. I know you're tough, but I kind like that about you. You're always in control and so...Strong."

Kale cleared her throat, "Uh...Thank you."

Kale was dragged to the couch by her employee and was sat down as soon as there was a spot clear of discarded clothing. The werewolf watched as her employee now date began to walk about the apartment to get things set up. She tried to offer help once or twice, but Casey just shushed her and kept moving everywhere at once. To the kitchen to prepare popcorn, back to the living room to get a movie from her stock and pop it in the DVD player before running back to the kitchen to check on the popcorn. Kale was left feeling almost exhausted just from watched Casey move about in such a manner. It was almost enough to make her dizzy. She would never understand how Casey had such vim and vigor, but at the same time, it put a smile on her face. When Casey returned with popcorn, she hopped onto the couch with a bowl in her hands and crushed herself against Kale's side.

Kale let out a puff of breath as she felt Casey's shoulder connect with her side, but she made no mention of it and instead asked, "So, what type of movie are we watching?"

Much to Kale's surprise, Casey replied with a grin, "Horror."

Kale was both surprised and horrified to find out that her date was a fan of horror. Kale herself, embarrassingly enough, hated it, but she said not a thing. Instead, she remained quiet as the movie began. She remained still, occasionally taking big pawfuls of popcorn to stuff her face and distract herself from the horror she was witnessing. It was the worst type for her, a horror film with lots of tension and plenty of scares jumping out at random. Some of the most frightening things in the movie to her were the most obvious, but she couldn't help but jump and occasionally gasp at the obvious scares. Halfway through the movie, her heart was pumping and her eyes were wide still, her ears folded back and her tail flicking from side to side in a nervous titter.

Halfway through the movie, Kale felt something touch her thigh and she nearly leaped from the couch, "What?!"

Casey blinked and paused the movie as she addressed the frightened werewolf, "Are you all right?

Kale froze and turned her head to look into Casey's worried gaze. She noticed that her fur was frizzed up and that her ears were still folded back. With a cough, she tried to compose herself to answer, "Uh...Yes perfectly fine."

Casey snorted, "Kale...You're not scared are you?"

Kale huffed and narrowed her eyes, "Why would I be scared? I'm a monster, a big bad werewolf."

"A big bad werewolf who has her muzzle in books all day and night."

Kale felt her cheeks burning now, "A-and? That doesn't mean that I'm not tough, that I'm not big and imposing."

Casey giggled aloud and hugged around Kale's body. Kale blinked and returned the embrace slowly as Casey sighed, "Kale, you don't have to pretend...You were clawing my couch."

Kale looked down to the arm of the couch she had been clutching and cleared her throat. So, it seemed during the movie she had been indeed been clawing the life out of the couch next to her. Now it was her turn to feel like an idiot. With a sigh, she flopped back against the couch and closed her eyes, "So, I'm a little frightened...Well, I'm terrified of horror movies even though I'm a werewolf."

Casey planted her chin on Kale's chest while speaking, "Oh come on, don't be embarrassed. I might love thrillers, but I'm not gonna make fun of you for hating them. C'mooon look at me, give me a smile. I'll even turn on some colorful cartoons."

Kale opened a single eye and mumbled, "Really?"

Casey planted a soft kiss on Kale's nose that had her heart racing again for other reasons, "Mhm. We don't have to watch scary things. We can watch something a bit tamer."

Kale felt her body slump in relief. With both eyes opened she noticed that Casey was giving her such a weird stare. Casey had a fat smile on her face and her eyes were wide and full of expectation. Her chin was buried in Kale's fur and Kale wasn't sure what the heck Casey wanted at this point. Feeling a bit awkward, she finally had to ask, "Is...Is something wrong?"

Casey planted a soft kiss on Kale's lips and spoke plainly, "You're adorable. Much cuter than I thought."

Kale huffed, her lips tingling from the kiss, "And what is that supposed to mean?"

Casey leaned closer, nose to nose as she replied, "You're such a softie at heart and I love it. I always figured you were nicer than you let on because you always put up with me, but look at you...Shivering from a little movie and you can barely even look me in the eyes when I'm like this."

Kale averted her gaze without even meaning to and Casey cupped her cheeks to bring her gaze back, "See? Look at me big boss. You're so precious and I really want to make this night something special, but y'know, if I'm moving too quick you just gotta say something and we can stop."

Kale thought of that for a moment. She had enjoyed Casey's company for a long time, and maybe she would have asked Casey out if not for the fact that she held herself as a professional in the store, that, and she was really too shy. It felt so odd to be there staring at her own employee like this, and for Casey to be returning that gaze with so much love. Shivering, she made her reply by leaning in to plant a soft kiss on Casey's lips to finally make a move of her own.

Casey was more than overjoyed. Kale had expected to at least catch Casey off guard, but instead, instead, Casey deepened the kiss with a soft moan. Her eyes grew wide, her body shuddered from the returned kiss. She had thought her own kiss was passionate, but now, now she knew what a real kiss was. Her body shook as Casey parted their mouths and planted her tongue against Kale's own. Kale's body shivered as she struggled to center herself and take control of the situation. Once, twice she tried to grab the other, but instead, she ended up embracing her lovingly and bringing her closer. Her tail was batting from side to side as if she were a young pup.

When she opened her eyes they were half-lidded and dreamy as she looked to Casey who was pulling away with a smack of her lips. Casey stuck her tongue out and winked and Kale leaned in with a needy whine to capture those lips again. Even with her impressive size over Casey, she found herself totally at her beck and call. Every movement of the human's soft digits through Kale's fur brought her pleasant little shivers that traced up and down her spine.

She hadn't thought of this, hadn't thought that she would ever be in a relationship like this with a human of all things. Her body was bulky, her arms were long and too strong for most to care to look at her, and most of all, she didn't think of herself as pretty, but Casey didn't seem to mind.

Casey pulled her mouth away but did not stop her rampage. Kale gasped and threw her head back as she felt fingers dipping beneath her stomach and crotch. She shuddered as she felt soft lips touch at her throat and breathed out with a whine, "Casey."

Casey was ever gentle with her, ever loving and whispered back with a little giggle, "Too much?"

Kale huffed, her body still shaking and practically on fire, "Yes..."

Casey blinked and looked genuinely concerned for a moment before Kale grumbled with her eyes closed, "But I didn't say stop."

Kale smiled before gasping out. She suddenly felt fingers dip beneath her crotch and against her warmth. She squirmed and her legs spread as Casey acted more like a werewolf by biting down on her shoulder softly. Kale winced as she felt a bit of pain from the love bite, but again gasped and let out a little yip from the sudden fingers she felt sliding down her slit. Her toes clenched as her face burned from that little yip she made. Casey made no mention of it, no laughter, no giggle, but instead went about her business kissing and biting at Kale's neck, Kale shaking in embarrassment, pleasure and just a hint of pain.

Kale tried to steady herself. She could feel her mouth opening without her permission as she began to huff and puff, trying her hardest not to let out her noises, but she couldn't hold it. She doubled over and let out a yipping moan as a single finger defeated her by sliding into her pussy. Casey ignored that noise and simply kept on with those actions that were already driving Kale wild.

Kale breathed out and moaned, her eyes shut tight as she felt another finger curl up inside of her pussy and press against her inner walls. She shivered as those fingers stretched apart. Kale's ears were folded back as she tried to hold her moans, but she just couldn't do a single thing to stop them. She gasped out as she felt those fingers digging in deeper, more digits moving to feel over her crotch gingerly, her eyes fluttering now as she felt the pressure building.

Casey's lips were suddenly on hers in a heated fever that burned almost as much as the one in her body. Kale's eyes were shut again and she was actively driving her hips towards the source of her pleasure. Those fingers, those maddening fingers that had her twitching with every single move, that had her moaning aloud even muffled against her own employee's lips. She couldn't help it! Her insides clamped tight and she let out a muffled yell that was soon unveiled for the world to hear as Casey pulled her mouth away. Kale moaned and squealed, her body drawing in, her eyes shut tight as her orgasm rocked her body. When those fingers pulled out, her body slumped back against the couch and she let out a long exhale of breath.

"Wow. Didn't know you'd sound so cute, boss."

Kale looked down at Casey with a quirk of the brow, but she didn't have a reply. Only when she saw frayed cloth around her shoulder and scratch marks, she frowned with her ears drooping down. Had she? Had she lost control?

Casey noticed Kale's distress and before she said a thing Casey shook her head, "Shhh...Don't worry."

Kale whined, "But..."

A finger on her nose and lips kept her from speaking and Casey leaned in to plant her lips between them and smile before continuing on, "None of that. If it bothered me I would have said something. You just looked so cute...Sooo...Out of it, it was magical to me and well, I kind of like the claws."

Kale watched as Casey made her point by taking up her paw and giving it a soft kiss on each digit before looking up at her with bright eyes. She smiled just a bit and leaned down to plant a soft kiss on her head.

Her next words brought back the heat from when Casey had been feeling her up so gently, "Perhaps, perhaps I could return the favor."

Casey snickered, "Are you sure? I don't want you passing out from embarrassment."

Kale gave her a hard look that could cut steel before Casey replied, "Hah! All right all right, I'm stripping."

Kale watched as Casey stripped from her clothes. The almond skinned human was curvy with a bit of a belly, but Kale certainly didn't mind that. Once Casey was fully out of her clothes, she leaned back on the couch and spread her legs for Kale to get to work. Kale grabbed Casey's ankles gently to tug her up and bring her own mouth down and against Casey's sensitive slit. Casey gasped out in response and let out a little giggle and moan as Kale began to drag her tongue against her.

Her tongue ran up and down Casey's cunt carefully while she moved a single digit to push and rub against the human's crotch. She made careful circular motions with her digit while dragging her tongue up and down slowly. She knew she couldn't press inside of Casey because of her claws, but at the very least she had a wolf's tongue. With that thick tongue of hers, she pressed deep inside of Casey's pussy with a sudden force that shook the human. Casey moaned aloud much to Kale's pleasure, but Kale still wasn't in full control. Kale felt soft fingers coil through the fur on her head, legs wrapping around her shoulders to bring her closer as Casey began to grind against her tongue and muzzle. Kale's eyes grew wide as she suddenly found her tongue and face being fucked by Casey.

Kale shuddered as her tongue and face were used by the smaller human. Rather than pull away, she stayed still subserviently while dragging her tongue deep inside of the other. She twisted and brought her tongue deeper and puffed out hot air from her nose as she felt those soft insides tighten against her tongue. Casey moaned her name aloud which sent shivers down her spine. Soon enough, the human began squeaking and grinding faster, leg's locking hard around her head as she kept on grinding to Kale's face. Kale shut her eyes and dug her tongue as deep as she could manage and before long she heard Casey let out a shaky moan, her insides clenching on Kale's tongue as Kale felt a gush of pleasure hit her mouth.

Casey cooed aloud while stroking through Kale's head fur, "Good girl...That tongue of yours is amazing boss...We should really do this more often."

Casey spread her legs to let the werewolf free, but rather than move away, Kale set her chin on Casey's crotch while looking up at her with worried eyes, "I'd be glad to...But how is your back?"

"Oh? I mean...It is a bit sore, but nothing a bit of ice can't help."

Kale frowned, "Do you have anything to disinfect that?"

Casey chuckled, "Well, yeah, I got some first aid supplies. What of it?"

Kale grunted, "Show me..."

"What?"

Kale repeated with a grumble, "Show me where the supplies are."

The rest of the night was spent on the couch with a cotton swab and bottle in hand. Kale sat behind Casey very gently dabbing the claw marks she had left and wincing every time she did so. Kale hated the fact that she was so rough without even meaning to, hated the fact that she was such a beast, and yet Casey eased her silent worries with her words while they sat there.

"You know...I really don't mind that you clawed me a bit, and hey look, you're taking care of it too."

Kale paused for a moment before continuing her duty, "Well...I guess that is true, but I just don't want to seriously hurt you...I want to take care of you."

Casey sighed happily, "You're doing that right now...Besides, you can make it up to me by staying the night and making breakfast in the morning, deal?"

Kale snorted, but smiled as she answered quietly, "Deal."
