Jurassic Park: Hierarchy

The cold winter winds blew outside the den that night where a mother wolf was waiting for her mate to return. Next to her belly were three young pups nestled against her.

“Alright go go go.” They said and soon snatched up the pups and would take off running from the cave.

"Soon, Project Lycan will be in motion," said the second voice, which belonged to a man with big round glasses.

“Indeed Mr Hammond.” Said another who was Asian

The pups were scared and tried to huddle together when they were placed inside a smaller den wondering where their mother was.

“I wanna go home” the pup with red accents said with a whimper to his brothers

A black and white pup and a gray pup snuggled up to him as they too were shivering in fear despite the warm blanket they were snuggled up in.

He sighs happily keeping close to his siblings

They soon heard a loud chopping sound as they saw the snow passing outside their little carrier and into the vast darkness of night. The next morning, they saw they were surrounded by a vast, blue flatness they had never seen before. Before long, they arrived at a big place where there were a lot of trees and all around, giant creatures that had no fur on them. All around, there were even more humans walking in and around some building structures. The pups were rather nervous as they were brought into a room with a flat, cold surface and one of the humans reached in to pick up one of the pups.

They all whimpered cowering into a corner and soon the one that was gray with red accents was grabbed first

He was checked over and then a small needle poked into his back and was given the name Troy. His two younger brothers were Steele and Balto and they too received similar injections.

Soon all three were put into a cage in which they changed into anthros.

But when they did transition into their anthropomorphic bodies, there were no more than 5 year old children. Fortunately, there was a human there who was present to help them through their transition and education.

Troy however struggled the most but with the help of the human and his brothers he was able to push through the education but in the back of his mind he still missed his mother

Across from their enclosure was a pale white room where a small blue figure sat. He was no bigger than the pups. He looked like the furless creatures outside but he had red hair on his head and tiny wings on his back. He was with a woman who was showing him the alphabet and he began spelling words. Whenever he did good, the woman would smile and clap her hands and give the little tike a hug.

Troy would watch him curiously

He would later learn that the blue creature was an ice dragon named Nathan and he was part of another experiment called Project Draco.

Nathan scratched his head trying to figure this out. “So… are you some hairy looking human?” he asked innocently.

“No. I’m not” he said gently.

"Oh... I've never met a wolf before," said Nathan circling Troy and looking at him all over with fascination.

Troy looks around watching him.

"I like you," said the dragon smiling, "Wanna play hide-and-seek?"

“Sure!” Troy said happily.

Nathan smiled and let Troy start counting while he looked around for a place to hide and he used his wings to fly up to a high platform near the ceiling.

Troy soon finished his count and would start searching around for Nathan.

The little dragon smirked thinking the wolf would never think to look up in his little hiding place.

Troy then started using his nose and started sniffing about to try and hunt Nathan down by scent.

Nathan carefully peeked out to watch the young pup sniff around the room and he quietly giggled before ducking back into his space again.

"Aww," groaned Nathan as he flew down to Troy, "How'd you know I was up there?"

Nathan looked at his wings. "Darn," he muttered but shrugged, "Okay, your turn." He turned to face the wall and started counting.

Troy smiles and goes a bit and hides inside of a box in Nathan’s class room and closes it

"Ready or not, here I come!" called Nathan as he looked around the play room looking behind every play set and under every table. He then walked into his classroom looking under his desk and then opened up his toy box and grinned. "Found you!" he laughed.

“Dang it! I thought for sure would of been a good spot!!” Troy laughed

They kept on playing with each other and eventually Steele and Balto joined them. When night fell, the scientists came in to usher the children back to their rooms. Nathan waved back at Troy. "I hope I see you again," he called.

"Same here!" Troy called out as they were ushered back into the room

This went on through out their child hold until the three wolves were moved out into a bigger enclosure that was outside. However, Nathan was kept indoors and behind glass at all times. The dragon kept up with his education and physical fitness tHanks to a gym enclosure next to his living quarters. THanks to Nathan and the wolves, the scientists had managed to gain enough funding to create more anthropomorphic dinosaurs, from docile herbivores to dominating carnivores.

Troy was laying on a tree branch throwing a baseball up and down catching it in the mitt every time. he too was keeping up on education but mostly worked out due to boredom at times but mostly also played catch with his brothers or just tossing the ball up in the air and catching it or bouncing it off the wall.

"Hey, Troy!" called Steele, "What's the hold up up there?" Down below, Steele had grown more muscular through the years. Balto, the youngest, had also gained some muscle but was much shorter than Steele.

"You were thinking about Nathan again, weren't you?" asked Balto smirking knowing how Troy would often linger in thought ever since Nathan was locked away.

"Yeah... But that was a long time ago," said Steele, "Might as well face it. This is our life now. Life sized lab rats just waiting to be noticed." Meanwhile, Nathan was reading a novel labeled Around the World in 80 Days. He was intrigued by not only the plot but the idea that each part of the world has a different culture. All his life he wished to see the world for himself. But his only view was a window that looked into the wolf enclosure. At the same time, human scientists were monitoring all the anthros under surveillance with security. "The velociraptor training program is running smoothly," said one scientist but then he heard a soft beeping and saw a red light overlooking the Draco wing. The scientist walked over and gasped when he saw the words "Warning: Impending Heat". "Oh no," he gasped, and turned to another scientist, "That's not possible. They're all male. How can he be going into heat?”

“There any way to stop it?” Another one asked

“Only if there’s an alpha to help out or suppressants,” replied the scientist.

“Let’s apply suppressants I’m sure that will help”

"But until that time, you might want to keep that temper of yours in check," retorted the third scientist before the humans left muttering to themselves about how savage wolves could be.

“Hmmph…typical humans” said a voice from the other side as all the animals in that area had heard the exchange

The velociraptors were also in the area and they had scented the dragon and were snarling at the wolves. They too wanted to claim Nathan as theirs.

“He’s known us longer then you guys” Troy would said to them through the wall angrily

"He's one of us," hissed a velociraptor from behind the glass, "He's omega."

“I’m right here” Troy said across the way

Nathan was still sweating slightly but it was less painful. He staggered to the window to the wolf enclosure placing his hand on the window separating him from the three wolves who've come to love him over the years. "Troy... It was then they heard thunder in the distance. Steele looked up at the sky to see clouds coming in. "Looks like it's gonna be a big one," he said.

The scientists continued to monitor Nathan's situation. The heat temperature was lowered, but he was still going through hints of his heat.

Troy would be looking about using his senses to keep a look out for others that might sneak up on them

Nathan was also nervous staying close to Steele at all times while the black and white wolf was looking around an arm around the dragon's shoulders.

soon they would get met up by a small pack of raptors who had their teeth bared and growled angrily "hey listen we didn’t come to fight" Troy said

"Please," pleaded Nathan, "We've come to talk about peace."

"what about?" the lead raptor asked

"About our packs working together to make this island a better home built on community, kindness and love," said Nathan, "Isn't that what you want for your pack? Your family?"

they all look at each other then back at them "we do. but you know we all gotta survive one way or another you know" he says

"Then let us help each other maybe this arrangement can benefit all inhabitants on this island," said Nathan, "I have learned some things while reading the books the scientists have provided me in captivity. Perhaps there's something in there that help us."

“Alrighty then.” The leader says “this better be on the up and up”

"It will," promised Balto firmly but calmly.

"alright then.. we got a deal" the leader says

"THank you," said Nathan as he shook the leader's hand and all around them, there were dino anthros of different varieties present to be part of the new community.

"but I think it would be a good idea to have a couple overall leaders to make sure rules are being enforced" another dino says

"You mean like a council of elders?" asked Nathan looking to see who spoke and it turned out to be an anthro T-Rex.

“I mean it wouldn’t hurt to have them.” He would say

"Well, we already have our pack alpha," said Balto placing his hand on Troy's shoulder, "So that's one member of the council. Who else?"

“I can represent our raptor packs,” the leader said stepping up as the others agreed

A tall anthro brachiosaurus appeared followed by a stegosaurus, triceratops and several others. Each one a leader of their clans. "I hope we can all be good friends as well as family," said Nathan earning a kind loving smile from each leader as they bowed to the dragon. "It's been said that dragons were very sacred in the past," said a pterodactyl, "Perhaps your alpha wolf should be the head of this council given that he knows more about the world of today."

“Well if I’m gonna be head all my brothers will be too if you guys are ok with that.” Troy says “we’re all his alphas.” Steele says with a smile

"Very well," agreed a T-Rex, "So... How do we establish ourselves? Without the humans holding us back, we must have some freedoms."

“Anyone propose anything or ideas they have?” Troy asks

"Well, we could do some agricultural growth for the herbivores... And perhaps round up some feral dino farms to help feed the carnivores... Unless anyone has objections to that last part," said the lead raptor.

Everyone shook their heads “but we must not be like the scientist that mistreated us” the T. rex says

They all nodded. "So, it's decided," said Nathan, "Dinotopia has been born."

“Alright let’s get busy then” Troy smiles as everyone cheered happily and soon began building and making the perfect harmonious community, or so they had thought.

A few months later, a yacht was cruising through the waves under the hot sun.

A young man was staring out at the water watching the waves and sky drift about as they traveled

He sighed as he went back down below deck knowing his mom and dad were too busy as usual with whatever client they were talking to on their phones. When he entered his room, he sat down on his bed with his head in his hands.

Soon a large wolf walks in and sits in front of him licking his hands.

"Hey, Luna," sighed the young man sitting up and stroking the wolf's head, "At least you're the only one who cares about how I feel. My own parents often forget I'm still here."

Luna nuzzles against against the young boy feeling bad for him

"Well, I'm glad you never judge or ignore me like they do," said the boy hugging the wolf. "Henry!" called a woman's voice making the young man flinch and groan.

Luna soon follows the boy to the woman’s voice

Henry came out to see his mother still lounging in the sun sipping on a margarita. "You called, mother?" he asked though he felt no warmth in calling her that.

Luna sat beside him being protective just like how she remembered trying to protect her pups

"Yes, try to stay on deck, darling," said Henry's mother, "You look too pale and shouldn't be hiding for so long. We didn't raise you to be a goth freak."

Luna huffs angrily staring at Henry’s mother

"And why is your dog not on a leash?" snapped his mother looking at the loose wolf by Henry's side. "Mom, we're on a boat. I doubt a leash is needed here," he said. "Don't talk back to me, young man," snapped the woman sitting up, "Your father and I raised you to be better. And once you enter college, we'll soon make a real man out of you and get these stupid dreams of being a useless rockstar out of your head."

Luna snorts angrily as she and Henry left to go to the front of the yacht that was slowly approaching a distant island

Up near the helm, a group of men were driving the yacht towards the island. "How long do you think it's been since we last been here?" one man whispered to the other.

“Several months, maybe close to a year or 2” another said

"Let's hope the anthro serum INGEN wants is still where that scientist said it would be," said the first one.

“I hope so” another said “the anthros there may have advanced since they took over and might have found things”

"Oh, please!" groaned the first man, "How many times do we have to go through this: they're not people. They're animals. Once a lab rat, always a lab rat. Got it?"

“Got it..” he said for he genuinely knew they were smart creatures especially how he remembered the first guy had gotten into a verbal altercation with Troy “when they day comes I’ll throughly enjoy hurting you” Troy’s voice echoed in his head as he remembered the confrontation

"Good," said the first man as he pulled out a rifle from a case, "Because I plan on putting one of those dame creatures to sleep... Permenantly."

He went pale a bit staring at the rifle as it was being prepped and loaded

The other men just chuckled cruelly and looked to the second man. "What's the matter with you, Matt?" asked the first man, "I thought you'd be in on a little payback?"

“I was till you are talking about murder” Matt would say

"It's not murder if they're not human," scoffed the first man sneering, "You were always such a wimp. Are you saying you're turning chicken now?"

“No…” Matt said sternly

"Then keep your mouth shut, loser," sneered the first man. "You tell 'em, Frank," sniggered the rest of the men.

Meanwhile a trio of wolf dragon hybrids were exploring the woods laughing happily having a good time

And running along side them were some young velociraptors keeping pace with them.

“Keep up guys!” Called out the hybrid with red accents said as he was leading the way but they were getting close to the beach and was told that was forbidden by their parents as they wanted to keep their community a secret from the outside world

"Remus! Kodi! Wait!" called the young raptor as he was panting heavily and trying to keep up, "We're not supposed to go this far!"

“Come on we can keep this a secret.” Remus called out

"But your dads can smell anything," called the raptor, "They'll know for sure."

“Alizar is right Remus. Papa Troy especially will skin us if he knows we been on the beach” Kodi says

The youngest pup, Aleu, managed to speed ahead of her brothers without warning. "ALEU! STOP!" yelled Alizar in a panic.

“I wanna just look!” She called out

"I said stop!" yelled Alizar grabbing her tail before she crossed the foilage and into the open sandy beach area.

“But Alizar…please” Aleu whimpered

"NO!" cried Alizar as he tried to pull Aleu back but lost his grip and she went flying through the leafs and into the sand.

She stood up shaking the sand off and would look around happily looking out at the open water and sky

Until she saw something white on the horizon. She was about to set off when a pair of hands pulled her back in. "What were you thinking?" snapped Kodi shaking her firmly, "Our dads are gonna kill us for sure!"

“But I see something out there!” She says pointing to the object

The others peaked out but then looked grave. "We'll discuss your recklessness later," said Aleu and they all went back to their little town community.

Meanwhile Troy was taking inventory of their supplies that protects the community on a emergency situation and would finish things up closing the armory doors and locks it up before moving onto the doors that had been heavily locked up to protect the research and the anthro serum that would turn Ferals into Anthros.

Two T-Rex guards saluted as the wolf passed them.

Troy nodded to them as he checked everything making sure it was all accounted for and safe as he started having flash backs of the images of what the scientists have done to everyone before they became a community

Elsewhere, Nathan was at a school reading to young hatchlings in a nursery while a few herbivores were helping take care of the newborns while the parents take care of the daily activities.

They all listened and smiled as Nathan read to them intrigued on what was being read to them

And when he finished reading, the children cheered and clapped for the happy ending.

“Mr Nathan how did you and the 3 wolf high elders meet?” A pterodactyl youngling asked

Nathan smiled and said, "Well, I was no older than you when I first met them."

“Oh?” Another asked as they all scooted in wanting to hear more

The dragon then leaned in and told them how they were such close friends and kept his version edited to avoid the complicated bits. "But in the end, it doesn't matter who you are and what you are as long as somebody loves you," he said.

They all awed together happily at the story

Then a bell rang signaling the time to go home. Nathan smiled as he watched the children reunite with their parents.

But soon a triceratops in a bit mid class clothing walked up to Nathan “sir the elders have called an emergency meeting” she would say softly to the dragon

"What about?" asked Nathan confused and looked to the children before whispering, "And have you seen my children anywhere?"

“It’s best if you go to the big 3 they are with your children.” She would say “but be calm about it they will explain it to you there” she says

"Oh no," groaned Nathan shaking his head knowing they broke the rules again, "What did they do this time?"

“They were on the outskirts on no man’s beach” she would say leading them to the meeting chamber

Nathan's eyes went wide. Opening his wings wide, he took off into the air and flew off to the home he shared with his three alphas and found Troy speaking firmly to Aleu.

“My daughter how many times have we told you not to go passed the boundaries.” Troy would say firmly

"But Papa Troy! We saw something out there!" protested Aleu trying to get in her discovery.

“What did you see?” He asked now having genuine curiosity

"I saw something big and white on the water's surface... It looked like one of the boats we use for fishing but a lot bigger and fancier," replied Aleu.

Troy’s face lost color and would nod “ok tHank you go join your brothers.” He says

Nathan sighed as he came in. "You're going to ground them again, aren't you?" he asked softly, "Troy, you do know that they're at the same age we were when we started being independent, right?"

“I’m not going to. But I get it to knowing what it’s like to be adventurous but we got a bigger problem… a yacht is on a direct coarse to the island” Troy says

"It is?" asked Nathan worriedly, "But no one's come to Isla Luna in years. Not since the park failure."

“I think it’s tourists check out the islands but I still want us to be aware and ready for anything.” Troy says

"The sky patrol can look into it," said Steele, "And our undersea squad too."

“Make it so.” Troy said to Steele

Steele nodded and walked outside and whistled. At once, a feral Pterydactal landed on a platform and the wolf hopped on its back.

Troy then head to the waters and a megalodon came up getting him warmly and soon would hop on and ride off to the distant waters

Troy soon met with a few anthro mosasaurs riding their feral counterparts to meet with the wolf.

“What do we got guys and gals?” He asked them to see if they saw anything

"Well, nothing much," said the alpha mosasaur, "Except there's a man and a woman along with their son... And a feral wolf. But they've also have a squad of the old enforcers from the old lab days."

“Must be looking to try and get the serum.” Troy says

"What do we do?" asked the alpha mosasaur, "We could just ground their ship and see what their intentions are. The wild ferals are bound to find them soon. It's a lucky thing we beat them here first."

“Not a good idea remember we have to try to keep our presence down low.” Troy says

The alpha nodded and looked over to see a pod of feral Spinosaurus directing the yacht. "I don't think that's an option right now," said the alpha Mosasaur pointing at the yacht.

“Oh shit that’s great.” Troy groaned

"Come on," said the alpha as the feral group directed the yacht to shore.

The others kept the spinosaurus busy

However, what no one had accounted for was a giant feral mosasaur that came up beside the yacht. causing it to run into a rock and ground the giant boat ashore.

They winced in fear “I guess land ho” Troy said

On the ship, the rich family was completely shaken and scared from the ordeal. Henry was below deck hugging Luna for protection.

“You ok Luna?” Henry asked

The she-wolf looked up to Henry giving him a gentle lick on his face followed by a comforting nuzzle.

“Good girl” he says

"Henry! Henry, where are you?" called his mother from above.

“I’m right here mother!” He called out coming up to her

The woman came down checking her son over. "Good, you're unharmed," she said looking him over as if he were some priceless vase, "Come along now. Your father will want to see that you're alright."

He nods soon following along with Luna in tow

Henry's father was busy at the radio but the signal was dead. "The antenna must've gotten damaged during the crash," said Hank gravely.

“Where are we even at?” Henry asked

The enforcer looked at the map and replied, "Isla Luna. There's a science base not far from here. Used to be part of a theme park known as 'Jurassic Park'."

“Wait didn’t that place get over ran by Dinosaurs?” Henry asked

"Son, please," dismissed his father, "This island is no place for you."

“I was just making an observation dad..” Henry said

"Well, it's not necessary at this moment," said his father, "Just stay on the ship while Mr. Hank and his men go and find a way for us to get off this miserable island."

“Fine.” Henry said as he would walk off

But when they were alone, Luna sniffed the air and jumped off the ship and ran along the beach.

Luna wait!!” Henry says soon chases after her

But she didn't wait as she raced through the foilage with Henry running after her.

He pants heavily chasing after her

Suddenly, the young man is met with a feral velociraptor. Henry cries out in horror and runs faster.

Luna skids to a stop hearing Henry scream and would soon turn around tackling the raptor

Soon an anthro T-Rex appears to drive away the raptor. He looked down at the human and pointed a spear at Henry. "Who are you?" he growled firmly.

“My name is Henry…I was just getting my wolf” he says holding onto Luna

The T-Rex looked Luna over and thought for a moment. "Come with me," he said, "I'm taking you to the head alpha wolf."

He nods being cooperative as he and Luna follows the T. rex

The moment they saw Balto, Troy and Steele together, Luna let out a bark and ran forward towards the three wolves.

The three were unsure but the one’s eyes that went the widest was Troy as he then looked at the wolf “mom….is that you?” He asked

The feral wolf leaned forward and started licking Troy's face with overflowing joy and love.

Troy hugs her tight as does Steele and Balto. the trio had been reunited with their mother

"Sir," said the T-Rex, "I found this human with her. Claims that she was his wolf."

“I take his word for it.” Troy said as he stepped up wearing tactical gear and kneeled to him “what’s your name kid.” Troy asked

"Henry," replied the young man nervously as Luna came up to him nuzzling him to reassure Henry's safety.

“Well you’re safe here. But gotta be careful out there…there are feral Dino’s out there that are sentient like us” Troy says

"Yeah, I know... My parents!" he gasped, "They told me to stay on the ship!"

“We can be on the look out for them. But who else was with you?” Troy asks

"Just some group of men... With guns," said Henry, "They said they used to be enforcers for Jurassic World. And they were looking for some serum."

“I should have known…our greatest fears coming true.” Troy says pulling up a chair and sits down

Then Nathan ran in. "Troy! Our pups! They're gone again!" he panted and looked to Henry regaining his composure, "I'm sorry. I don't believe we've been introduced."

He nods in hello as Troy groaned “great here we go again” Troy huffed

Luna came up sniffing Nathan and gently licked his hand. "And who are you?" he asked kneeling down and stroking the feral wolf's head earning a few licks to the face.

“That’s our mom” Steele said as Troy was preparing his rifle, gas grenades and pistol.

Nathan thought for a moment before standing. "Troy... Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" he asked gesturing to the building where the anthro serum was locked down in.

“You sure…about that…? The enforcers are back..” Troy said “and they are looking for that”

"Well, what's the point of keeping it if we're not going to use it?" said Nathan, "And you have your mother back. You and your brothers deserve this chance... Plus I think that young man might not be as happy with his current home as he says he is."

Troy hesitates but sighs “alright but take her to the serum. And gotta hold an elder meeting to decide if he stays or not but if he provides a good case it will most likely end good for him” Troy says

"Well, by the looks of it, I'd say she's treating him like one of her pups," whispered Nathan and then turned to Henry and Luna. "I have something to show both of you," he said and offered his hand to Henry.

Henry gently takes Nathan’s hand and would follow him as Troy looked at Steele “assemble the elders and have the warriors meet me at the courtyard to search for our kids” Troy says.

Nathan took Henry and Luna to the old INGEN building. "See, this is where we came from... Well, me and the other dinosaurs you met. Both anthro and feral," explained the dragon, "We were created to satisfy human amusement. 'For science,' they said. However, the more we grew, the more we realized how cruel they were treating us. Keeping us in cages. Never letting us outside. And threatening to torture us if we ever stepped out of line. You see, I first met Troy and his brothers when I was no more than a toddler according to human years. We grew up together here and learned all we could about the human world and much more."

“I heard they only created Dinos” Henry says

"They did. Both anthros and ferals... As for me, I was their very first and only dragon," said Nathan, "You know, Troy and his brothers were a lot like Luna. But from what they told me, they were only pups when humans came and took her sons away. Now, tHanks to you, we might have a chance of letting them be a family again. But you must promise to not tell anyone about what we're about to show you." He walked over to padlocked door that was located in the ruined research center. He pressed a few keys on the padlock and opened it. He walked over to a refrigerator and pulled out a container filled with a deep blue liquid. "This is the serum that made us anthros to begin with," said Nathan as he prepared a syringe and filled it with the serum. "Henry, I'm going to have to ask you this: Are you happy with your family?" he asked, "I'm sensing that you might have some issues with your parents.”

“I’m not happy….they only care what they want for me and what I want to be…” Henry says but when he saw the vile he nods “I promise to keep this a secret” he said as well.

"And what do you want?" asked Nathan as he led Henry over to a couple of chairs and sat down.

“Just want to be happy” he says

"And what is it you like to do?" asked Nathan when Luna came up and rested her head on Henry's lap.

“I like to play music” he says

"What kind of music?" asked Nathan tilting his head, "I'm sort of a classic jazz type, myself."

“Any actually.” He would say petting Luna’s head.

"Well, I'm sure we could use a musician in Dinotopia," said Nathan, "In case you're interested."

“Well that’s if the elders let me stay” Henry says

"Well, you're in luck. I am one of the elders," whispered Nathan giving a playful wink.

“Well I’m sure there are more then just you” Henry say

"That's true," said Nathan, "But first, I think it would be best if I showed you how the serum works... Though you may have to hold Luna still for this."

He nods gently holding Luna still

Nathan gently prepared a spot on the back of Luna's neck and inserted the needle into her and injecting the serum into her.

She winces a bit as Henry pets her. "good girl Luna" he would say

Once the injection was done, Nathan looked around and found a lab coat and draped it around the wolf's shoulders. "Trust me," he whispered to Henry, "She's gonna need it."

Luna groaned and whimpered as she then started to take shape of an anthro and would slip into the lab coat a lot easier

Nathan yelped as he breasts were showing and quickly covered Henry's eyes. "I don't think you're quite ready for that, young man," he said feeling slightly embarrassed and he turned to Luna, "How are you feeling?"

Henry laughs moving his hands "I'm 18" he said with a laugh as Luna slowly stands up "a little jiggly in the legs" she says

"One gets used to it," chuckled Nathan, "And it's a pleasure to meet the mother of my mates."

"where are they?" She asked

"I'll take you to them," said Nathan and Henry held her hand as the dragon led them back to Dinotopia.

Meanwhile in the elder chamber all the elders have gotten together and were discussing about the new arrivals and Henry staying with them "having a human stay with us is beyond absurd!!" called out an older triceratops pounding his hand on the desk as Troy looked at him "this kid is unhappy with his current surroundings" Troy says

"And what about the boy's parents?" replied an ankylosaurus, "The enforcers? What if he leads both here?"

"I don't see him doing that..but if they do show up we imprison them and we show the enforcers what its like to be in our shoes back then" Troy says

"Unless the wild ferals find them first," said the alpha raptor.

"I honestly would be ok with that as well. even the ferals know better to enter our world" Troy would say

“But at the same time we need to make sure they aren’t here for the serum” Troy adds

"That might not be necessary," said Nathan as he entered the room with Henry and a currently-anthro Luna.

Troy and the others looked at them and Troy’s eyes went wide and the wolf soon became into tears as Balto and Steele stood up from theirs seats in shock

"Hello, my sons," said Luna opening her arms for her sons to come forward.

They soon ran up to her hugging her tight with Troy mostly hugging and crying happily with joy with Steele and Balto also filled with tears of joy

Luna hugged her sons. "You've grown up so much," she sobbed hugging them, "I thought I'd never see my pups again."

"we thought we would never see you again either" Balto would say

"It was tHanks to Henry who saved me," she said, "His parents mistreated him so poorly." "And who is going to take him in if he's going to stay?" asked the older triceratops from before crossing his arms. "I will," replied Luna, "Since my sons have grown and found their mate, I will raise Henry."

Henry looks up at Luna "you would do that for me?" he would ask

Luna nodded bringing Henry into a hug. "Of course," she said, "You've always been my pup even when you were taking care of me."

Steele looked around to the council, "any objections?"

They all remained silent... Except for the triceratops. "There's still the matter of his parents and the enforcers," he said, "True, humans created us and some of them were good, but the evil ones proved to be more powerful than them. Who's to say they won't overpower this boy?"

"i would say he has to be with luna till the issue of the enforcers has be resolved." said a t. rex elder

"And his parents?" pressured the triceratops. "Balthezar, we understand your concern," said Nathan, "But Henry is just a boy in the early stages of becoming a man. He's innocent in all of this. Do you really think he would be capable of that kind of harm?"

"plus if he wanted to do something he would of done it already." Steele added "how about this. if we find his parents before the ferals do we can have them locked up until they can be trusted." Balto added

"Henry is a good boy," said Nathan, "Even when I took him to the labs, he-" "Wait... The labs?" asked Balthezar with a mix of panic and anger, "You showed him where to find the serum?!"

"that puts us at a great risk of him being being pressured to find out where its at by the Enforcers!!" a raptor said standing up slamming his fist down on the desk

Henry flinched scooting closer to Luna who held the boy close. The she-wolf snarled at the raptor. "Never threaten a mother's pups!" she growled fiercely, "I wasn't able to keep the humans from taking my wolf sons, but I will fight anyone who dares harm my human son!"

Soon a giant bickering match began happening between everyone which was divided some were defending Henry while others argued it would risk would bring great harm which got silenced by loud bang of Troy shooting a blank round from a pistol into the air which was a perfect way to silence the loud bickering "I WILL HAVE ORDER IN MY CHAMBERS!!" Troy snarled out

Luna held Henry close. She could tell the boy was feeling scared. Meanwhile, Henry's parents were calling out for their son. "Hen-ry-y-y-y! Hen-ry Bus-top!" called his mother.

"calling out for him ain’t gonna make him come any quicker" said Hank

"Well, he's got to be here!" snapped Mrs. Bustop, "We paid you to do a job. SO DO IT, STUPID!"

Hank huffs heavily as he and the other enforcers would help search around as Matt was still unsure of things and how they are gonna be going when they do find Henry

However, Mr. Bustop was still fiddling with the radio when some a group of small, green little compsognathus crawled onto the ship.

"heh well aren’t you just cute ones" he would say

But they started snapping at him and surrounded the man.

he would start backing off but they would start chasing after him as he yelled out loudly as they chased him and some would jump onto him

Before long, they chased him into a ditch and the man screamed as they tore at him piece by piece.

Hearing the screams the enforcers and Mrs Bustop came running back searching around to see where her husband was at

But she let out a scream when she saw her husband's mangled corpse.

Matt came running up looking the corpse over and would see the small foot prints "compies" he would say

"Comp what?" asked Mrs. Bustop confused.

"compsognathus, tiny but carnivorus dinos one is not a big deal but when the entire pack gets involved...well see here" Matt says

"Great," she groaned, "Now what do we do?"

"we try to find your son and get out of here" Matt says

"After we find the serum for INGEN," said Hank firmly as he cocked his rifle, "As for the rest of the monsters... Leave them to us."

“Don't you remember when the animals got loose originally? A lot of people died mostly from ferals and the anthros were fighting back against us" Matt says

"Because of an inconvenient power failure, wimp," scoffed Hank, "Besides, we've come prepared haven't we?"

"yeah and they are too, don’t you remember we had to abandon the island with all our weapons and supplies" Matt says

"Have you ever worked a weapon before?" asked Hank as Matt was stammering, "Ever dealt with a dino to begin with?"

"no..." Matt says

"Then shut up," snapped Hank firmly.

Matt growls loudly then punching Hank in the face and soon the two began brawling before being pulled apart by the other enforcers

"Break it up!" snapped Mrs. Bustop angrily, "I don't care who leads. I just want my son back!"

Matt grabs his rifle and would sling it "then lets go"

Mrs. Bustop groaned and shook her cellphone. "Still no service," she growled, "First thing I'm gonna do is make sure Henry stays in his room for the rest of his life until he reaches adult hood."

Matt shook his head "you will never get service here....and second the way you treat your son is wrong"

"Did I ask for your opinion?" snapped Mrs. Bustop, "Maybe Mr. Hank was right. You are a moron."

Matt growls "are we completing this mission or not?" he asked leading the way

"Whatever," sighed Mrs. Bustop, "The sooner we get off this stupid island, the better."

they all resumed searching through the forests

So far, they found nothing whatever.

"who knows where he has went to" Matt said looking around

But then there was a loud booming sound and flash of lightning. The group ran for it and Mrs. Bustop was having hard time running in high heals.

"come on lets go!" called out another enforcer

Mrs. Bustop was panting until she saw a round metal shelter. She ran for it and locked the door behind her trapping everyone outside.

They both hurried out of the sewer pipes and ran to find a velociraptor, the only ones fast enough to deliver the message.

They soon found one and hopped onto their back and soon took off to the meeting chambers where the elders were all gathering

Nathan was there with his three wolf mates when the two rodents entered.

Troy saw them and nodded accepting their presence as he brought the meeting in session. “Ladies and gentlemen…mammals and reptiles of the elder council. This meeting has been called to bring awareness of the return of humans to our island. Now before we begin looks like our scouts have already found something” Troy said waving them over to the podium to talk.

Everyone was chattering in a panic until Aries banged the gavel to call for order and allowed Troy to continue.

Troy then brought the scouts in and they talked about how they were setting up in the old lab ruins less then 5 miles from the utopia.

“That doesn’t give us much time to prepare,” said Balto gravely.

“Then we prepare now. And we will show those idiots we are not their lab rats anymore!” Troy said

They all rushed around their community making sure the children were inside safety bunkers for what was to come.

Troy was helping pass out weapons from assault rifles and other modern stuff to bows and arrows spears crossbows and slingshots and assigning some to catapults and sniper nests.

Nathan was trying to keep the children calm along with Henry and Luna.

“Is everything gonna be ok?” A small raptor child asked

Nathan knelt down and held her hand. "Of course it will," he said softly, "We just need to have a little faith.”

Soon Troy came in all geared up and walked over to Nathan. “There is something I need from you,” Troy said.

"What is it?" asked Nathan looking up at Troy holding the wolf's hands.

“I know you always want the best…but if we don’t return…take everyone to the emergency tunnels and get as far and deep into the island as you can.” Troy said holding Nathan’s hands back

Nathan gasped with his heart breaking when he heard that promise. "I will... But... you will return... Won't you?" he asked choking on tears that threatened to fall, "I don't know what I'd do without you... You were my first friend, my first time... My first love."

“We will try our hardest. Even if it means retreating back to escape with you” Troy said

"I love you," said Nathan kissing his mate deeply with the tears finally spilling over his cheeks.

Troy kisses back and soon leaves to rejoin the troops

Nathan watched Troy leave along with Balto and Steele. He felt his heart ache for all three of them. And through their bond, the wolves felt what was going through their dragon mate's mind.

“We need to have one send a message when this is over.” Troy said to his brothers

"We'll go together," said Balto firmly, "Nathan will need all three of us."

“I mean to the humans….this needs to stop” Troy says

"Probably a flyer," said Steele, "Easy to get in, easy to slip out."

“And we need to destroy the serum and all the research.” Troy say

"We'll bring the serum with us..." said Balto smirking, "And when the humans demand us to hand it over, we smash it right in front of them. That should get the message across."

That’s a good idea but it will trigger them to shoot at us” Troy says

"Not unless we negotiate some agreement on letting them live peacefully here and learn our ways," said Steele.

“I don’t think that will happen but we can try”

"Or we can always let Rexy scare them off," chuckled Balto.

“You know not a bad idea either” Troy says

But the messenger from the enemy arrived sooner than they anticipated.

“Damn he got here sooner then expected” Troy said crossing his arms

"Well, let's see what he wants," said Steele.

Troy nods soon the trio began walking over to the messenger

Balto looked over to the side to see Aries and his raptor warriors standing by just in case.

“What do you want?” Troy said to the messenger

"INGEN has requested you hand over the serum at once. Do so and we'll let you and your families live. Failure to do so will result in extinction all," said the messenger.

"yeah you have no idea who has more bigger extinction then you all actually" Troy said holding up the vial and the messenger ran up to grab it and Troy held it in the air acting to smash it "one more step and it gets smashed" Troy said

The human stopped. "You wouldn't dare!" he said, "If you smash it, then the general won't be so reasonable. Trust me, I don't like killing anymore than you do, but orders are orders."

"Trust me we don't wanna kill anyone either were honestly tired of trying to defend our home...we just wanna live in peace" Troy says keeping a firm grip on the vial

"But what about the serum?" asked the human.

“If peace talks are In progress it stays in our possession. But one attack happens we will smash it and the research will be burned and don’t think we are playing cause we are fully prepared to do it.” Troy says

"I believe you," said the human, "But the general won't like it. When he sets his mind on something, he'll stop at nothing, and between you and me, he's radiating crazy.”

“Why am I not surprised with a human military general” Troy says

“I really am sorry,” said the messenger feeling nervous about how the wolves would react.

The trio looks at each other then back at the messenger “he wants to talk he can meet us here” Troy says

“I’ll let him know,” stammered the messenger before running off as fast as his legs could carry him.

Troy huffs heavily and looks at his brothers “you think it will convince him”

"Hardly," sighed Steele shaking his head.

“Should definitely have the troops ready including the Ferals too we’re gonna need everything we got” Troy said

Back at the labs, the messenger delivered Troy's response to the general.

“Prepare the troops.” He would say sternly

"But... But sir," pleaded the messenger, "Have you SEEN their forces? THEY'RE HUGE!!!

“I don’t care if their monster trucks prepare the troops” he said

The soldier groaned nodding. "Yes, sir," he said going away before whispering, "I wish there was another way."

The general huffs sternly as the troops had gotten ready for battle

Later, the troops were mobilized. However, a number of the soldiers were reluctant to go through it.

Soon it became a giant bickering match between those that don’t and do wanna fight

Before long, the ones who didn't want to fight were locked up for treason inside the old holding cells of the lab.

But when the troops who wanted to fight were distracted, the messenger was able to help those who didn’t want to fight escape and soon made their way to the outskirts of Dinotopia.

Steele was the first to spot them and pointed them out to Troy.

Troy sees them as well sighing heavily and wrapped an arm around his brother “here we go” Troy said

The messenger hurried up. "Wait!" he called waving a white flag, "We've come to ask for sanctuary."

“It’s the messenger.” Troy said running over to them

"My name's Steven," said the messenger, "The general's attacking anyway. I brought a few men who didn't want to fight you. Most of us want to live peaceful lives just like you do."

“Alrighty then..” Troy said looking at a raptor with blue accents “Blu can you take these gentlemen to our bunker and have them protect Nathan and the other elders that are hunkered down” Troy says

"Of course," said Blu but hesitated, "But I think it would be best if you went to see Nathan to explain the situation... You know... Just in case?"

Troy then looked to the messenger “how much time do we have till they get here?” Troy asked

"I'd say about... 5 hours," said Steven gravely.

“Alright. Blu take me and the men to Nathan” Troy says

She nodded and led the way. Down in the bunker, Nathan was overseeing the preparations when he heard Blue's raptor call.

Soon she Troy and the human allies walked in “these guys are here to be part with us. See to that they get assigned guard duties” Troy said to Nathan

The dragon nodded and welcomed the new friends and they all managed to get along slowly and steadily.

Troy smiles softly and would leave to rejoin the others

Steele was looking through some binoculars and pointed to the horizon. "They've started to move out from their base," he said.

“Alright everyone be ready” Troy says

All the warriors stood at at attention waiting for Troy's signal.

“Not yet guys let them attack first.” Troy said as they all watched the soldiers get closer

The general was barking out orders when Rexy let out a bellowing roar. That did it. Most of the men screamed and began running. "Come back, you cowards!" shouted the general.

“I think you should follow in suit” Troy says crossing his arms

But the general wasn't having it as he aimed a gun at Troy only to have it ripped off by a feral velociraptor.

He screamed and squirmed about as Troy walked over “this is your last chance. It can only end 2 ways.” Troy said as he kneels down

"INGEN will never stop coming for that formula," snarled the general, "No matter how many times you defend it."

“Yeah you might be right…but…your gonna send a message” Troy said standing up as a Rexy used his foot to to hold the general in place but not crushing him to death as Steele handed Troy the vial and stood in front of piles of the research and Balto lights it on fire after smashing the vial

"NO!" yelled the general looking at the destroyed serum and looked back at Troy with resigned defeat, "Fine... You win."

“Good and you can tell them to stop cause anyone with military or INGEN uniforms that are deemed unfriendly will be met with our friends here” Troy said to the general referring to the raptors and Rexy and any other carnivorous beings

The general nodded holding his bleeding arm. "You've become quite the leader," he said and smirked, "You have my respect." With that, he turned and left for the base.

“Wait at least let us treat you before you bleed out” Troy said

The general paused and then nodded.

Soon a couple of triceratops came in and treated the general surprisingly doing well at treating a human

The general looked at his arm and nodded. "I'll tell the rest of my men we're leaving," he said, "And I hope you'll be welcoming to those who wish to stay?"

“They already are..and we mean by this threat…we will not hesitate.” Troy said “but if there is anyone who retreated wants to stay as well now is the chance” Troy says

"I'll check when I get back," said the general. And later, a small group was making their way to Dinotopia.

“Alright then. You guys have your men left?” Troy asked them

"They already have," said Balto listening and heard the faint sound of helicopters fading away into the distance.

“Alright good. Now I think we should give the all clear” Troy said

"Absolutely," replied Steele, "Nathan must be worried sick by now." Down in the bunker, Nathan was attending to a few smaller families while trying to keep his composure.

But everyone turned their attention to the 3 wolf brothers that walked in with a few new humans. At first it was silent but Troy smiles softly “we’re free” he says

Nathan gasped and rushed over hugging Troy tightly. "I was so scared," he whimpered.

“I was too” Troy said hugging back

"I'm so glad you're back," whispered Nathan burying his face into Troy's neck.

"Me too" Troy says

They kissed deeply with Steele and Balto joining the hug.

Troy smiles wagging happily as order has been restored to the island

And the years passed as Dinotopia had become a thriving community. INGEN had never tried anything again, not after the general threatened to shoot the research leader in the head.

“Well quite the letter that has been sent to us” Troy said looking at the letter that the general had sent to them telling them that INGEN would finally let them be in peace

"At last we can live without fear," said Nathan smiling.

“Mhmmm but good to know our message got across” Troy says

Then they heard Kodi rush in. "Dads! You'll never guess what happened," he panted, "Henry's pregnant!"

Troy stood up “a male human pregnant?? How’s that even possible?” Troy asked

Then Matt came over holding a syringe. "Well, I may have had something to do with that," he said sheepishly.

“How? We destroyed the serum.” Troy says

"Correction: you destroyed the anthro serum," said Matt, "I gave Henry a fertility serum... Gave him every last drop."

“Is there any other serums we need to know about?” Troy asked

"Nope," said Matt shrugging, "That's pretty much it."

“Good.” Troy says

"Aren't you happy for me and Henry?" asked Kodi, "He's carrying my pup."

“Of coarse we are son.” Troy smiles petting his head “just taken by surprise.”

Henry came up and Kodi wrapped his arms around his human.

Troy smiles as does Balto and Steele and the trio stood by each other “welcome to the family Henry” Steele says

Nathan smiled and brought the human into a hug before Henry finds the other three wolves hugging him from all sides.

they all smiled big wagging their tails happily

"I wanted to be with Kodi more than anything," said Henry, "Even birth his pups."

"well we are happy to have you" Balto says

Henry smiled as Kodi snuggled up to his human lifting his face up for a kiss.

Soon all the fathers smiles happily seeing their son happy

And nine months later, Henry went into labor and to everyone's surprise he gave birth to twin wolf pups, both males.

“Congrats they are boys” said the doctor handing him the twins

Henry had tears in his eyes as he held his sons close with Kodi sitting next to them.

Kodi smiles big holding Henry close to him

"Aren't they beautiful?" asked Henry looking up at his mate.

“Ever so” Kodi said kissing his mate

"They look just like their father," said Henry as he felt Kodi hold his family close.

Kodi smiles big wagging happily

Nathan and his mates soon came in smiling. "I can't believe we're grand parents," sniffled Nathan with tears in his eyes, "They're so precious."

Troy chuckles holding Nathan close to him

"Would you like to meet them?" asked Henry softly holding up one pup.

Troy smiles nodding taking one gently into his arms

Nathan was given the other one. "What will you name them?" asked Balto as he came up to Nathan's side while Steele stood beside Troy.

“I was thinking maybe Derek and Scott?” Henry says

"Beautiful names," said Balto as he gently took little Scott from Nathan's arms.

Troy then gave Derek to Balto to hold him

Balto smiled as he carefully gave both pups back to Henry and Kodi.

They smiled taking their boys back

"Looks like the future is looking bright," whispered Nathan softly to Troy.

"indeed" Troy smiles softly

And as the years passed, INGEN never returned to the island and Dinotopia was at peace for all time.
