While I didn't set any alarms last night a phone call jolted me out of my dreams and back into reality, though for me it seems reality took a nose dive. As I was waking up, mainly mustering the courage to actually get up, the ringing stopped so who or whatever it was that called either left a voicemail or just ended the call. I wouldn't be surprised that it was a robo call scammer again, those bastards are relentless. The whole bed shifted and moved in a sea of feathers as everyone was grunting and groaning as they were woken up from their sleep as well. Vex let out a growl and simply wrapped am arm around me in an effort to just keep me from leaving. Adler was fighting with Rose over the covers, which was getting annoying as the two started chirping at each other, honestly it was too early for this shit. Red was honestly the only one who was simply laying curled up in a ball near the end of the bed, he was awake blinking at the sight of his sister fighting someone else. Vex let out a low rumble in his chest before letting out a loud bark that made everyone stop and freeze.

Adler admitted defeat and let Rose then bury herself into the covers while he was just laying there looking upset he lost, but when he caught me looking at him his frown seemed to soften up and he cooed at me. Unfortunately my mind was too curious about who called so I pried myself away from Vex who gave a whine in the process and had to climb over Adler in order to reach my phone on the nightstand, I also kicked Rose by accident which I didn't mean to. I muttered an apology to Adler as I had to clamber onto him and then reach over to grab my phone before retreating back to my original spot in the middle of the bed and the middle of the raptor pile. It was a missed call from Tim. Listening to it he said that my blood work came in but he wanted to speak with me privately about it. I let out a groan, I didn't want to get back up. I wanted to continue cuddling with my pack. Vex was obviously listening to the voicemail too as he actually ended up getting out of bed and I sadly followed suit, still wanting to lay back down. But when I started grabbing some clothes out of my dresser Vex lumbered over to me and snatched them out of my hands with his teeth. I was both still tired and just sort of stunned that he did that.

"Vex....what are you doing?" I said with some still tiredness in my voice."I need to get dressed." He snorted but held them away from me as I reached over to grab my clothes.

"Please stop playing with me right now. I'm too tired to be in the mood for shenanigans." I reached for my shirt only for him to jerk his head back, effectively playing keep away."Vex.... please....I'm seriously not in the mood." But he simply growled through his teeth with my shirt in his jaws. I just groaned but reached for a pair of underwear from a lower drawer, but suddenly Vex snatched them away with a clawed hand. The sound of fabric ripping echoed off into the room as he quite literally ripped my underwear in half with his claws. I just stared at him for the longest time before I think my half sleeping brain finally clicked.

"Do you not want me to wear clothes?" A vigorous nod from him was my answer."You do know that I still need to wear them for things like.... meetings with my boss right?" He let out a growl. He stared at me with those yellow eyes that simply told me that I wasn't going to win this, but even though the idea was definitely exciting I suppose, I still need some clothes for things like going into town or meeting someone important. I let a sigh.

"Ok fine. Look how about a compromise then?" He cocked his head a bit, giving me the idea that he's willing to hear me out."Look I need some clothes in order to at least do important things, like going into town or meeting with say my boss and such. I can get into some trouble or even arrested if people see me naked. But....if you let me wear clothes during those times....I'll go completely nude for you." He gave a long growl like him going "Hmmm" as if the idea wasn't good enough."Alright, if I can get my boss's approval, we can go outside, you can take me for walks around leashed and naked."

Vex thought for a moment before dropping the shirt into my hand and backing up enough so he could watch me dress myself. But he growled when I went for another pair of underwear so I figured he doesn't want me to wear those regardless, fine I can go commando I guess. Vex snorted before walking back over to the bed and crawling in and getting himself comfortable. Looking at the time it was a bit later, at least 9, but I guess even Alpha deserves a lazy day. I went over a kissed him goodbye while the others gave their own chirps as I walked out of the room. I was hungry but I really wanted to get this over with. But....a bite couldn't hurt too much. I didn't eat too much as I was going to come back and eat an actual breakfast but this snack would fill the void for the moment.

Stepping outside was hot and muggy like it still felt faintly of rain or that it would rain again, but the sun was completely out and shining bright so maybe it was just the post rain humidity again. I opted out of taking the ATV and decided to just walk to Tim's office, I did send a quick text saying that I was on my way. While the urge to start running hit pretty strong, I kept myself just at a brisk walking pace just to enjoy the little bit of peace and quiet I was given away from my pack. I love them but much like Vex crawling back in bed, I was just enjoying the little me time I could. I still had to shudder a bit after thinking about how I was going to explain my relationship to my family, and I can already feel that it was going to go just as I expect, horrible.

I passed by Ray on my way to the office and he gave me a friendly wave from his ATV. He was one of the security guards here, usually pretty friendly but kept to himself, like me up until I met Vex I mean. But knowing what Vex was willing to do with me outside of the house made me wonder if I was going to get Security called on me a lot more. Again I'd really have to talk with Tim about this, and knowing him he'd probably just laugh at me. Not that I really cared at this point. The more I thought about everything and the fact that people were already going to see me online doing all kinds of sexy stuff with raptors, the more I realized that I didn't care what other people thought. That worry in the back of my mind was melting away and being replaced with pride and content for myself. And now with me pretty much being part raptor simply fueled this uncaring attitude, though I still was struggling with how to exactly explain this to people. Regardless I felt free, happier than I have ever been and I wish I had met Vex years ago if I had known how much I would love this.

It took little to no time to reach Administration and after saying hi to Kim I just let myself into his office as I could already tell he was in there. Tim was thankfully dressed more casually like he usually does and was hunched over in his chair typing away on his computer before looking up at me. I couldn't really tell the look he gave me, I wasn't wearing my hat this time, why bother at this point right?

"Alex good morning. I would have replied to your text but I have a bunch of emails to answer. But...it can wait for a bit. Please sit." He gestured to one of the still ugly chairs he had in his office. I took a seat and he offered me a bottle of water from his fridge which I accepted."So...I got your blood work back..."

"And? What's the results?" I asked taking a gulp of water. He hesitated a bit before clearing his throat.

"Now....I'm not a scientist at all. I mean hell my degrees are in business and management. And while I don't know the ins and outs of genetic work and research..." He stopped and took a breath."Alex your results came back and it says you're no longer classified as human." I just blinked at him before taking another sip of water.

"Ok. Is there any more to explain with that?" I said leaning back in my chair a bit.

"You're not like...freaked out by that?" Tim asked looking very confused. I just shrugged.

"I felt it was coming at least. I'm more worried about how much farther this is going to go at all. I'm honestly not bothered by loosing my human class at this point." Tim seemed to relax a bit, like he was expecting me to blow up on him or something.

"Ok, I'm a bit more relaxed now that I know you're not going to freak out on me. I was more worried about that. But I guess I should have seen that coming too that you'd be ok with that. But in seriousness you're not completely classified as raptor nor human, like right in that unknown middle from what I was told." I nodded at him following along."And I was partially right about the cause of this. It seems that somehow you became infected with Vex's Alpha Gene. Which makes little sense because it's not a virus nor a disease that could be passed on." He scratched the back of his head.

"So it's not contagious then?" I asked.

"As far as I was told no. You also seem to share that gene with Adler as well which shouldn't be surprising as he has the same gene. But....Red and Rose both tested positive for it. I wasn't told if there was a reason or an explanation." Hmm so Vex made me his then completely?

"So what does that mean for the twins? Are they going to grow massive like Vex?" Tim shook his head.

"No probably not. They may gain some size and mass like you have but they're already full grown adults. If they were hatchlings then it may be possible. As for you, from what I was told and read on the report, it seems to have stabilized in you. I don't have a clue what that means actually but maybe that means that you're not going to fully devolve into a raptor. But we can't know for sure." Ok that's good honestly. I get the benefits of being part raptor while still keeping my human body, a good trade.

"That's good to hear then." I nodded and the two of sort of stared at another for a few minutes."So...how do I go about explaining this to people? I'm going to assume that these changes are permanent, but I'm not going to hide myself away like some freak." I realized I sorts snarled a bit at the word freak.

"I'm not sure honestly. I mean....I can do as much as my influence and money can go for damage control. And if you're not going to hide this, then we may have to come up with a cover story of somekind. Like....lab accident or something like that, someone in the lab actually suggested that last night. It would be easier than explaining that you had the raptor fucked into you right?"

"Lab accident huh? Sounds cliché honestly, but then again yeah you're right about it being better to explain off. It would also probably be a good idea to come up with some kind of explanation for why Vex and the others are very.....close with me." Tim nodded in agreement.

"I'll work on something when I get time."

"Let me know when you do. I'd also like to bring something up with you."

"And that is?"

"Well....since I'm not going to hide this new me, and because Vex feels that raptors don't wear clothes....how hard would it to make up something to allow me to walk around the Ranch naked.....and on leash..." Fuck why did I say that last bit...ugh. Tim seemed to agree and just leaned his head into his hand while his arm was propping his head up.

"Ugh this my punishment isn't it? I already feel guilty about this whole thing because I encouraged it, now this is what I get." He groaned. He felt guilty about this?

"Wait....you feel guilty about this whole thing?"

"Yeah I kinda do. I let this happen and now....well you got the raptor fucked into you as a result."

"Please stop saying that, it sounds fucking weird. But stop with that guilt shit though. You couldn't have known this would happen. Honestly it was probably bound to happen with or without you're approval. And I'm not mad at all, honestly this feels like destiny more than anything. So let's just push the guilt away focus on the present ok?" Tim just looked at me and just let out the biggest sigh.

"I don't know why hearing you say that actually made me feel better. I guess maybe I just needed to hear you actually say that you're not mad. Anyways..." He sighed again."I can come up with something to....allow you to go around naked. I'll probably have Jessica and Rachel sign off on it too to make this sound more official. But on a leash really?"

"Vex promised to take me on walkies if I got your approval." Tim just groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Yeah... punishment for sure. Alright....if it'll make you and him happy I'll whip something up. Now....could I ask....how the hell are you going to explain this to your family?" Ah....fuck.

"Honestly I haven't thought about it. In reality I don't care what they think. Fuck em." I said crossing my arms, growling ever so slightly. Tim blinked at me a bit.

"I....I didn't realize that you had problems with your folks. Sorry." I just shrugged.

"College was my escape from them, mainly my dad. Look...I don't want to talk about it. Not that it's horrible and traumatic but in reality it's just more like it's boring and a waste of time really. I'm an adult, I can do whatever I want with or without their approval." Tim laughed a bit.

"Ok I can understand that honestly. I don't entirely get along with my folks either, but still I figured I'd ask in case there was something you specifically wanted me or GreenTek Genetics to do regarding them. I....I do need you to sign some paperwork to start manufacturing this lab accident cover. You'll probably get some calls or emails from a few other of my family's lawyers and stuff. As far as this going to go is that you are going to receive alot of money from this incident." Money....well I could definitely use more money.

"Really? They're going to just pay me off then? How much we talking?"

"I don't like having to call it that but yeah my family's company isn't going to allow this to go it court. You could pretty much throw out any amount and they'd happily sign and cut you a check. Something of this.... caliber is mostly unheard of so.... consider yourself very lucky that you're going to get to pick how much you want in settlement. Look Alex, I can't recommend anything but....go big man. My family has deep pockets and you are entitled to a good lump some from them." Tim chuckled.

"You seem very up front about this. Are you sure I'm not just a pawn in your quest of getting rich yourself? I still haven't made any money off the drom thing yet. I just posted the first video online and I hadn't checked it yet since then." I just looked at him.

"Honestly no, I actually haven't thought about it like really. You're like the third or fourth person I've ever had the chance to tell them about getting to pick their chunk of money. If I hadn't then my Dad's lawyers would give you an absolutely horrible deal and make it sound like you have no way out other than taking it, you can't survive the army of lawyers my family has dude, raptor or not." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"So....lab accident. What about public view of this? Am I going to get swarmed by reporters everytime I step off the Ranch?"

"I hope not. I can't really control that sadly. But I can at least try, it's the least I can do." There was silence between us for a bit again. Then something popped up in my head.

"So besides you, Jessica, and Rachel, who else knows about this? I mean the actual truth."

"The boys and girls over at the Silo where most of the employee blood work is sent along with drom blood work too. It's full functioning lab after all, not just a cold storage like most think it is. But... they've been sworn to secrecy too, and actually it was them who suggested the lab accident cover up. Best way they could think of. After all, gene therapy and things like CRISPER do exist and with the amount of genetic research we do that most don't know about, it was just a matter of time before this would happen. Sooo congratulations on being the accidental guinea pig I guess." I just laughed at that.

"World's shittiest superhero origin story. Raptor-man, had the raptor literally fucked into him by his Alpha. Fucking brilliant." It was sarcastic but it sounds funny as fucking hell honestly. Tim busted out laughing at that, honestly I think it was good for him, releases some of that stress he's carrying.

"Fuck man only you can make this into one big joke. Thanks I actually needed that laugh. Is there anything else you need now? I'll email you more of the paperwork and your test results too. I'll also start making calls and announcements regarding this to the rest of the staff so don't be surprised if you start getting calls and texts like crazy. Just say that you're fine now. And I guess I'll let Security know that doctor's orders to go nude, makes the changes more comfortable or something, I dunno." He shrugged but I just agreed with him. The next hour or so was spent with him walking through some of the paperwork and needing my statements on what "happened". Honestly this was probably the best lie that could have come out of this, and I'm glad to have Tim as my boss, he's handling this extremely well, in the sense of taking care of me. Pretty much every other boss I've had in the past probably wouldn't have cared. Honestly it probably would have turned out that I went full raptor and then one of those shithead bosses would call and ask if my now feathered ass would still be coming into work.

I was ready to go home and talk with everyone about this. I'm sure they all deserve to know how this happened and how pretty much everyone is sorta sharing genes, however that actually works. The sun was now higher in the sky as I left Administration and was on my way home. But of course my phone buzzed with texts. Looking at them it was Cody.

-Hey! I just fucking heard that you got fucked up in one of the labs man! Hope you're ok!

-I'm fine dude. Sporting a bit of a new look now but I'm still the same for the most part. Just not entirely.... human now.

-Fuck man that's some scary SyFi shit. Is there anything that I can help with?

-Yeah don't go into any of the labs lol. But seriously no I don't need anything right now. Just keep working, and yes I'll give Rose an ass slap for you. I gotta go so ttyl.

I didn't check his reply as I continued my way home. Now that I knew the truth I felt better, I had the feeling it was Vex but I didn't want to immediately blame him and I still don't blame him. It happened and I'm fine with this. I'm happy with a family that loves me unconditionally and I love them the same way too. I also like the times where I have no control, I like having my Alpha being in control of what I do, it's invigorating really, both in mind and body. I reached my house before I was popping a boner in the middle of the road, though with Vex going to be having me walk around naked, public erections will probably be a normal occurrence now. And acting like a raptor will probably be more normal too now I guess. I got inside and saw Rose chilling on the couch like she usually does, but the others weren't anywhere I could see. That was till I heard the sounds of something tearing in the bedroom so I walked through the kitchen and down the hall to our room.

Well opening the door revealed Vex, Adler, and Red in the room but more importantly was the fact that there was pieces of fabric everywhere....no...that was all of my clothes! Vex looked up from tearing a pair of pants apart to stare at me. At first it was a look of surprise, like he hadn't expected me home either so soon or so quickly. But then he simply gave me a shit eating grin and finished his job. Red was enjoying himself as he was ripping through my socks and underwear, but Adler seemed to be more skeptical of the whole thing, I suspect that he was the most innocent person in the room at the moment. I just stared at them all in disbelief, he destroyed all of my fucking clothes, all of them!

"Vex what the fuck!? My clothes! You said I could keep them if I got permission, which I did but what the fuck!?" I was feeling my blood boil for a moment. Fucking two faced backstabber.

"Seriously!? When I said I needed clothes for certain things, I meant multiple pairs ...not the one I'm currently wearing! Ugh...." Vex simply snorted and gave me the gesture to undress which I did but I was still fuming. The moment that my clothes hit the ground Red darted forward and snatched them up and took off to the far side of the room and started tearing them up too. I just stood there, trying to think of something to do or say. Do I actually insult Alpha or not? What the fuck do I do? I took a few deep breaths to calm and stabilize myself enough that I wouldn't let my anger boil over. While I know that they wouldn't hurt me if I got angry, but now as a full member of Vex's pack, I'm sure that I may be smacked around if I got Vex pissed enough, and not the fun kind of smacking around either. I let out a long drawn out sigh.

"Ok fine....I guess I should have seen this coming. Besides, I can buy more when the time comes. But if I do.... please stay away from them. I'll hide them if that'll please you." Vex stared for a few minutes before stepping over the small mound of ruined clothes and nuzzled his head into my neck, it seems he agrees, till he decides not to.

"Trying to butter me up I see. But I....I need to talk to you. All of you actually, it's important." Vex looked at me after the raptor hug and nodded, calling the two others to follow me out of the bedroom and into the living room. Rose was still laying there looking tired like usual but I gave her a slight startle as I plopped down right next to her which made her jump. Everyone else took a spot around me as I mulled over how to explain this all to them.

"So I got my blood work back and....well I'm not longer human according to it. Not entirely raptor either but in a middle of sorts." Vex snorted and gave a bark like he was trying to tell me something that I still don't know the language to."Vex you were the major cause of it, and apparently that gene you carry spread to me and the twins here." That caught his attention now. I continued on with the explanation with my drom audience and while I simply decided to explain everything from the beginning regarding my conversation with Tim this morning, I'm sure that a good chunk of what I was talking about went right over their heads. I mean they're smart, human smart, but even then they don't know how half this shit works and honestly neither do I really. I sat there for nearly an hour talking and going into detail that I probably shouldn't have needed to do but it was just nice to openly talk about it all. It's still a bit of a shock to my system I guess, no matter how much peace I've made with it. I of course also mentioned the approval for roaming around naked as long as it stays on the Ranch and surrounding property, which Vex nodded his head in agreement, as I had made it clear that I could be arrested for nudity outside of the Ranch. We actually came to an actual compromise this time it feels like that I'll buy myself some new clothes, considering that I've grown in size some and even the stuff I wore today was a bit tight, and I'll keep them for out of Ranch activities or when my boss requires me to actually dress. I have no problems with going naked at this point so I'm just embracing it.

After the talk I decided to get everyone something to eat because I had mostly skipped breakfast, and it was close to noon already so it was time for brunch with the pack. I honestly had no plans today so I figured that after lunch I'd let Vex decide on what he wanted us all to do. During brunch I had received multiple texts from people asking me if I was ok, plus one from Tim saying to check my emails. I did and had tons of stuff to go through and sign. Plus I had gotten the "official" email from Jessica and Rachel regarding the now allowed nudity and it said that as long as I wasn't doing anything illegal openly I was allowed to streak, fun. I know eventually I'll have to confront my parents and family about this soon but right now I just wanted to just enjoy my new found self I guess. While I was looking through my phone I heard Vex and Red having a raptor conversation, I honestly wonder if I'll eventually get the ability to understand them better, this is pretty much a new language of their own that I was a stranger to for the most part. I was in the middle of getting the dishes cleaned up when Red let out a happy bark and did some kind of raptor tippy tappy dance before darting off into the bedroom. I was curious but then felt Vex right behind me, and he placed his head on my shoulder while I was still washing.

"Yes? Have you figured out what we'll be doing today?" He grunted then nodded right into my shoulder. I reached up with a wet hand and scratched his neck a bit before I was finally done with the dishes. Just in time to as Red came back into the kitchen with the leash in both his mouth and hands.

"We going outside I take it?" I asked and Vex nodded while Red gave an inpatient bark. I simply chuckled and took the leash and hooked myself to it."Are you going to lead me this time Red?" He gave a sharp nod, his plumage bouncing like ragged strains of hair. While Red was giving me practice tugs and leading me around the living room, Vex got Adler and Rose up and hand them wait by the door. Before I left I made sure to put my phone on "Do Not Disturb" and left it on the counter. Maybe in the future I could get like a satchel or something to carry my phone and stuff in. Vex opened the door and led everyone outside into the sun, and wow the sun on my bare skin felt strangely comfortable. Vex was last to leave and had the manners to close the front door as we walked off the porch and into the yard. I expected us to head down the road but Red tugged me along as he was allowed to take lead with me in tow as we circled around the trailer and then heading towards the woods. That was more surprising because I've never really been in them myself. But with my faith and trust in my pack we entered the thick brush and maze of trees.

The Ranch owns hundreds of thousands of acres of land around here, some of it was obviously built and used by everyone, and there was the two Silos on the property also. But there was still tens of thousands of acres of untouched land that stretched seemingly forever. The Ranch's entire space was close enough that some of the outer ranges of the property actually reached into the Rockies and I believe at least one or two small summits belonged to GreenTek Genetics, the company that owns the Ranch and all of the land around it. The woods and forests were fair game for everyone and everything, there was wildlife all over. While you mind think there would be fences and such everywhere, there really wasn't. Sure there were fenced off areas like the Silos and the Breeding Facility to both protect the employees but also mainly to protect the droms. Honestly sometimes droms do get out and run free in the woods, but it seems that they never have gotten too far before wishing to come back. I even know that due to the grounds being private property and us being mostly independent, some people have actually gone on hunting trips year round, usually to make sure that there weren't like coyotes and wolves roaming around, which there hasn't been. But going out to hunt deer, turkey, even duck too, fish at one of the few small natural spring lakes and rivers up towards the mountains, that was all fair game in the name of "Protecting the Property", as they often put it.

My house sat at the far end, actually the last house, at the end of the road that made up a small fraction of the employee quarters and living space. While there was open fields near my house, my backyard bordered the woods and I've never been in them myself, nor do I know how far they actually reach too before reaching somewhere else. So this was honestly an experience for me, both.... raptor me and human me. While I feel that it's just me now, I feel trying to make a distinction between the two parts of me makes it easier on my mind as a whole. We were deep into into the forest now, far enough that you couldn't really hear anything from the Ranch and now just heard the birds and whatever else decided to make noise. Unlike how I feel my position would normally be at the back of the pack, I was just behind Red as he lead us to wherever we were headed honestly. He had a nice firm grip on the leash as he had it wrapped in his claws. Behind me was Adler, keeping close enough to me probably to for my own safety, it's not like I was going to suddenly take off. Rose was behind him but she was constantly stopping to investigate whatever peaked her fancy, rather it be a fallen tree or some wild flowers. Vex was at the back, which for the Alpha of us was a bit unusual. But I feel it was more so he could keep watch from behind in case something decided to attack. I felt rather comfortable being naked in the woods, like that one rap song, I can't remember what it was called, that went "We'll get bare foot, butt naked and run through the woods" and it involves tons of magic mushrooms. I did also have to climb over some tree branches as Red didn't give me much choice, he just simply hopped over them and I had to follow, and I noticed that my skin must have become a bit more durable if you will as even the rough bark didn't faze me at all. Even had my now low hanging nuts scrape against a branch, which would've made most men cringe, but it barely hurt or even made me think about it really.

Red made a bark and started to move faster through the now...more widening forest floor and I had to rush near him or else get choked and dragged along. Soon the thick line of trees spit apart to reveal a clearing in the foliage. The grass and weeds were a bit tall but didn't brush past say my shins. There were remnants of some trees as their stumps still stood in place, it honestly looked like they may have been cut down long ago. There was even the sounds of small stream near by, it was just.... really beautiful really. Everyone seemed to agree as they stepped around just examining the scenery. Red barked at Vex and he replied to the smaller drom. Did Red know this was here?

"This is a really nice spot. How'd you know this was here Red?" I asked looking at him and he just gave me a cocky look saying "figure it out" ah, that attitude of his."You've been out exploring the woods on your own haven't you?" He nodded and jerked the leash to follow him. He led me over to a large tree stump that seemed to have been cut into a very very crude shape of a chair, in reality it wasn't a chair at all, but just one half was cut lower than the other so it looked like one to an extent. He hopped up and took an awkward seat on it, honestly I'm not sure how that would be very comfortable but it's Red, so unpredictable is his favorite pastime. Red then chirped at Vex, who was stomping through the high grass near by us. He chirped back and have him a nod before simply walking off. The ground I noticed was a bit damp still from the rain a few days ago as I sorta stood by, until Red yanked the leash and had me get down to the ground. I looked at him and he gave a very smug grin and licked his lips slowly. He simply spread his legs out in his makeshift seat and while his cock wasn't fully out, I could see the tip just poking out of his slit. Did he seriously bring me all the way out here for a blowjob?
